Derek Issa, the congressman from California, writes regarding the therapy sessions in the State Department, I am concerned that the department is catering to federal employees who are personally devastated by the normal functioning of American democracy through the provision of government-funded mental health counseling because Kamala Harris was not elected president of the United States.
In addition to the therapy sessions, AmGreatness writes, an internal State Department email advertised in, quote, insightful webinar where we delve into effective stress management techniques to help you navigate these challenging times, close quote.
Change is a constant in our lives, ISA writes, but it can often bring about stress.
Oh, I'm sorry.
This is the State Department.
Change is a constant in our lives, but it can often bring about stress and uncertainty.
Join us for an insightful webinar.
where we will delve into effective stress management techniques to help you navigate these challenging times.
This session will provide tips and practical strategies for managing stress and maintaining your wellbeing.
Issa referred to these sessions as, quote, unquote, disturbing, noting that, quote, nonpartisan government officials should not be having a, quote, personal meltdown over the result of a free and fair election, close quote.
He goes on to say the mere fact that the department is hosting these sessions raises significant questions about the willingness of its personnel to implement the lawful policy priorities that the American people elected President Trump to pursue and implement.
Issa's letter continued.
The Trump administration has a mandate for wholesale change in the foreign policy arena.
And if foreign service officers cannot follow through on the American people's preferences, they should resign and seek a political appointment in the next Democrat administration.
Now, why is this so disconcerting?
Because obviously we'll get to the issue with Judge Chutkin in just a moment here.
But why is this in particularly...
So disconcerting.
You're talking about the Secretary of State.
Now, Senator Marco Rubio is going to be coming in and replacing Anthony Blinken.
Thank you, Jesus, for that one.
I'm so appreciative of that.
I've never been more appreciative of Senator Marco Rubio than I am now.
And I mean that sincerely.
I like Senator Marco Rubio.
I think he has been a good senator for the state of Florida.
I've had my disagreements with him on some issues, but overall, I think he's been a good senator.
I think he's going to make an excellent Secretary of State, given the times that we're living in right now and the foreign policy debacle that the Trump administration will be inheriting.
But this is why this is so disconcerting to me.
This is the Secretary of State.
This is the State Department.
This is a guy that's over.
I mean, over our foreign policy, dealing with relations with foreign adversaries and allies and all of that kind of good stuff.
And yet, here he is with the audacity to send out this email saying, hey, if you guys need therapy sessions after this loss, you know, I'm paraphrasing, but hit me up.
Now, what's so disconcerting about that is the fact that all of these employees are supposed to be neutral.
A lot of these employees you cannot get rid of.
This is why I'm so thankful for this Doge, I'm calling it Doge Commission, Department of Government Efficiency with Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk.
But this is why this is so crucial.
The fact that the Secretary of State...
It's comfortable enough to send out an email that says if you need therapy sessions because Trump is elected, not only suggests that you have children in the State Department that can't deal with life, but you also have a bunch of left-wing radical loyalists that are loyal to the system, not just necessarily loyal to a Kamala Harris or to a Joe Biden, but have been trained and brainwashed perhaps on these college campuses, and now they are...
Loyal to a system.
The work that President Trump is going to have to do.
This is why I say, guys, it is fun.
I am so glad we won that election.
We all breathed a sigh of relief.
But I'm telling you, the work has just begun.
As Ned Ryan and his book have said, the American Leviathan.
We are talking about a state within the state.
You're talking about a group of people that literally want to get rid of our civil liberties.
They don't even think about it.
I don't even think a lot of these people think about it.
But the fact that you have the Secretary of State talking about therapy sessions.
You've got grown behind men and women working in our federal government that have to be treated like little babies.
And you've got grown behind men and women in our federal department that are literally adversarial to our system as it exists.
What will they do?
This is the deep state.
It's not complicated.
Frankly, anyone, in my opinion, anyone who took Secretary of State...
Blinken, and I'm so glad we get to say former soon, up on that offer, in my opinion, should be fired.
If you're a grown-behind adult and you can't listen, we suffered through the election of 2020. We all have our disagreements with it.
We suffered through it.
We endured.
We accepted it.
And we continue to fight for 2024. These people are supposed to be neutral.
That's very scary to me.
That's very scary to me.
And so I want you to understand, again, we're all excited.
We all can bring good news.
You know, forgive me.
I know sometimes, bad hosts, bad hosts, bad hosts, I get it.
Because I come with the thunder sometimes.
But man, I don't play when it comes to freedom.
I simply do not play when it comes to freedom.
I want to make sure that after President Trump leaves the White House, that America is even more free than he left it, quite frankly.
When whomever else, whomever the next president is, you know, I want the same.
