| So I'm going to give you a list of how utterly and totally harmful government tends to be. | |
| And all the left does, which is why it wins, by the way. | |
| It is almost impossible for conservatives to win repeated elections. | |

| The left promises you... | |
| More goodies if they win. | |
| Because they will expand government. | |
| So now in California, the state, not your parents, the state, gives you lunch and gives you breakfast. | |
| Or in chronological order, gives you breakfast and gives you lunch. | |
| That's right. | |
| One of the features of big government Is that it takes the place of parents. | |
| The bigger the government, the smaller the parent. | |
| Yes, that's right. | |
| Not just the citizen. | |
| Especially the parent. | |
| Yes. | |
| And that's deliberate. | |
| That's why I have come to believe perhaps the most important of the Ten Commandments is honor your father and mother. | |
| The first thing tyrannies do is undermine the authority of parents. | |
| Whether fascist, Nazi, or communist. | |
| That's what they do. | |
| They don't strengthen parental authority. | |
| They weaken it. | |
| Because if your parents are strong, the government is less strong. | |
| So one of the despicable aspects of bigger government is the increasing insignificance of parents. | |
| Places like Minnesota are states of refuge for children who think that they are the other sex, and they run away from their parents, who tell them, you know and they run away from their parents, who tell them, you You were born a girl and you are a girl. | |
| The kid runs away to Minnesota and Minnesota will not send the kid back to the parents. | |
| Minnesota knows much better than the parents. | |
| So one aspect of the bigger the government, the smaller the citizen is the bigger the government, the smaller the parent. | |

| Simple. | |
| You can't have both. | |
| You can't have big government and big freedom. | |
| It doesn't work. | |
| The bigger the government, the more it will control your life. | |
| And people are all too happy to have the government control their lives. | |
| This I have spoken of on a number of occasions. | |
| Liberty is not a human instinct. | |
| People do not yearn to be free. | |
| That's baloney. | |
| They yearn to be taken care of. | |
| And that's why big government will almost always be voted into power. | |
| Like Lula in Brazil. | |
| And the elites, the... | |
| Press, the media in general, colleges, they are all for big government because they want to control your lives and they crap on liberty. | |
| Liberty is meaningless to the New York Times and Harvard. | |
| Meaningless! | |
| It's a pain in the ass, in fact. | |
| That's what liberty is. | |
| It's a nuisance. | |
| It's misinformation if you differ with us. | |
| Ah, would you please play Jacinda Ardern, the New Zealand Prime Minister, what she told her people during COVID. This is all you need to know about big government. | |
