Dennis Prager Show - Kamala Wants Fixed Food Prices! Aired: 2024-09-09 Duration: 04:19 === Why Kamala Harris Isn't Winning (02:28) === [00:00:00] The spokesman for the Harris-Walls campaign, the two-minute clip there. [00:00:08] She's been part of the Biden administration. [00:00:10] She has been part of the Democratic. [00:00:12] Democrats have been in control of the country for the last three going on four years, and you are still seeing this in the polling. [00:00:18] I mean, these working-class voters are telling us right now that more of them are with Donald Trump than Kamala Harris. [00:00:24] Why? [00:00:24] What is it about what you guys have been doing for the last three-plus years that explains that? [00:00:30] Well, I think, again, we're trying to talk to the voters and explain this message. [00:00:33] We've got 60 days until the election. [00:00:36] You know, we don't have time to sit around and think about why over the last few years certain things may have happened or may not have happened. [00:00:41] We've got to go win an election, and the vice president's doing that. [00:00:44] Okay, well, that's awesome. [00:00:46] That is... [00:00:47] Does this man not realize that his honesty is self-indicting? [00:00:57] We're not going to talk about our record. [00:00:59] We have to win an election. [00:01:02] I mean, had I said that about the Democrats, you would have said, well, it was partisan phraseology on my part. [00:01:13] I mean, this is one of those great moments that you wonder how many people heard it and thought, is this guy kidding? [00:01:23] We're not going to talk about the record of people running for president and vice president of the United States because they have to win an election, and therefore what? [00:01:31] We won't talk about what we've achieved? [00:01:34] In the case of Kamala Harris, there's nothing to talk about. [00:01:36] In the case of Tim Walz, all he has achieved is bad. [00:01:40] Let's continue. [00:01:41] I haven't heard the rest of the clip. [00:01:43] I'm curious. [00:01:44] The president's doing that by talking about... [00:01:46] Her economic vision. [00:01:47] And it's really different. [00:01:49] It's a new way forward, not only for the Democratic Party, but for the country. [00:01:54] It's really different. [00:01:54] Can you tell me what is really different? [00:01:56] I got the capital gains rate, but what else on the list makes it really different from what was going on the past few years? [00:02:01] Sure, she wants to take into effect the first national law to take on corporate price gouging. [00:02:06] She's talking about holding bad corporate actors accountable. [00:02:09] Okay, so you know what? [00:02:11] By the way, she said gauging. === Government Set Food Prices (02:06) === [00:02:13] I don't know if you heard that clip of Kamala Harris. [00:02:16] It was a priceless moment. [00:02:18] But anyway, yes, so that's right. [00:02:20] She wants to price fix food. [00:02:24] That's correct. [00:02:25] That is new. [00:02:25] I agree. [00:02:27] Even Joe Biden didn't do that. [00:02:30] And do you know that the number of people who are going to vote for Harris, for whom that will change their vote, is close to zero? [00:02:39] It might change those who were not decided, but nobody. [00:02:44] There is nothing she could advocate. [00:02:46] It's new in the United States. [00:02:52] Well, it's new in the free country. [00:02:55] Okay. [00:02:56] Free countries don't have... [00:02:59] Government set food prices. [00:03:01] They shouldn't have government set any prices. [00:03:06] This is a very scary thing that she wants to do. [00:03:09] But you know what? [00:03:10] I asked from the beginning of my career, if you believe in single-payer medical care, government medical care, why don't you believe in government food? [00:03:26] I have asked that all of my broadcast career. [00:03:31] Why nationalize healthcare and not food? [00:03:36] Food is more important to people's health than healthcare. [00:03:42] If you don't have food for just a few days, at most two weeks, you die. [00:03:50] You don't have healthcare. [00:03:52] For 50 years, you don't necessarily die unless you need it. [00:03:56] But everybody needs food. [00:04:00] Why nationalize healthcare and not food? [00:04:03] If the government will deliver better healthcare, why won't it deliver better food? [00:04:11] It's never once been answered for me, but she's consistent. [00:04:16] Yes, we will now be the deliverers of food.
