Dennis Prager Show - Majority Of Israelis Approve Of Netanyahu's Handling Of War Aired: 2024-09-05 Duration: 04:10 === Polls Show Support for Netanyahu (03:30) === [00:00:00] So, new polls in Israel show a majority of Israelis back Netanyahu on going into Gaza, and they oppose the protests. [00:00:14] It's so interesting how the left tells us democracy, democracy, democracy. [00:00:19] Then there is a democracy, and it comes out with a result that they don't want. [00:00:26] And then it's fascism. [00:00:30] It's quite remarkable. [00:00:36] Israelis are torn because everybody knows somebody who knows a hostage. [00:00:42] It's a small country. [00:00:46] And still they're against the protests. [00:00:49] Make a deal so that the hostages come back. [00:00:57] I'll tell you personally, I am... [00:01:00] I am mystified by the fact that Hamas does not want to make a deal. [00:01:06] You would think that Hamas would say, yeah, okay, we'll give you your hostages. [00:01:10] Stop fighting us. [00:01:14] So they must not think they're losing. [00:01:19] I'd love to ask some scholars or some foreign office people in Israel. [00:01:25] I don't get it. [00:01:30] Why do they want the fight to continue? [00:01:34] They have no use for the hostages except as a way to have Israel stop fighting. [00:01:40] They could then even perhaps claim victory. [00:01:43] The world is sending in billions of dollars after all. [00:01:50] Wow. [00:01:51] This is from the Jewish News Service. [00:01:54] The Israeli politicians... [00:01:57] Positions are supported not only by coalition voters, but by about a third of the opposition voters, according to this survey. [00:02:08] An overwhelming majority of Israelis support Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's negotiation positions regarding a hostage deal with Hamas and oppose anti-government demonstrations in Tel Aviv demanding an immediate deal at any price. [00:02:26] According to a new in-depth JNS Jewish News Service poll. [00:02:33] Again, I don't know what to say about polls, but I am reporting to you this. [00:02:41] He does get re-elected. [00:02:43] I mean, that is a fact. [00:02:46] It is also a fact that nobody likes to cite that the Israeli opposition on the left has said that they would do the exact same thing in Gaza. [00:02:56] So the notion that it's Netanyahu's war, when it would be the opposition's war if they were in power, is not entirely intellectually honest, shall we say. [00:03:12] Direct polls conducted the survey on Monday, both before and after the Prime Minister's press conference, finding a significant majority in Netanyahu's favor. === Left's Hate Parallel (00:55) === [00:03:25] In the latter sampling. [00:03:27] So there's such a parallel here. [00:03:30] We have Trump, they have Netanyahu. [00:03:32] The left hates Trump, the left hates Netanyahu. [00:03:35] The same left hates both. [00:03:38] The people in this country who hate Trump hate Netanyahu. [00:03:43] You saw the number of Democrats who wouldn't even show up at his speech. [00:03:49] But what do they hate about him? [00:03:54] Really? [00:03:55] What do they hate about? [00:03:56] What do they hate about Netanyahu? [00:03:59] Other than the fact that he's on the right and he has power. [00:04:03] Can you name anyone on the right that they don't hate? [00:04:07] Oh, that is a trick question.
