Dennis Prager Show - Did Kamala Find A VP? Aired: 2024-08-01 Duration: 07:36 === One Person's Socialism (06:00) === [00:00:01] Listen to this report from Alpha News. [00:00:04] Democratic Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who is reportedly on the shortlist of possible running mates for Vice President Kamala Harris, raised eyebrows with comments he made during a campaign event for white dudes. [00:00:21] That's what it was called, the campaign event for white dudes. [00:00:26] On Monday, quote, Don't ever shy away from our progressive values. [00:00:32] One person's socialism is another person's neighborliness. [00:00:37] Just do the damn work. [00:00:39] Waltz said during his appearance at a White Dudes for Harris virtual fundraiser. [00:00:47] Yes, White Dudes for Harris. [00:00:53] We have a clip from that? [00:00:55] One of her speaking? [00:00:57] Or of Governor Walz. [00:01:00] Really? [00:01:00] Let's hear it. [00:01:01] I didn't know we had one. [00:01:03] Don't ever shy away from our progressive values. [00:01:06] One person's socialism is another person's neighborliness. [00:01:09] Just do the damn work. [00:01:14] You're considered the most liberal United States Senator. [00:01:17] We're not going to treat people who are undocumented across the border. [00:01:21] Okay, that was more of a series. [00:01:23] I'm going to play that one, the series of clips of Kamala Harris. [00:01:27] But that was Tim Wall saying what I just quoted. [00:01:31] Now, here's another quote from the governor of Minnesota. [00:01:37] Here's the great news. [00:01:38] How often in 100 days do you get to change the trajectory of the world? [00:01:44] How often in 100 days do you get to do something that's going to impact generations to come? [00:01:49] And how often in the world do you make that bastard wake up afterwards and know that a black woman kicked his ass and sent him on the road? [00:01:58] This is quite a guy, eh? [00:02:01] This is quite a remarkable man. [00:02:07] Wow. [00:02:10] I wanted to note... [00:02:13] His comment, one man's, one person, of course he wouldn't say one man. [00:02:20] Wash my mouth out with soap. [00:02:23] One person's socialism is another person's neighborliness. [00:02:30] That's a beautiful thing. [00:02:31] Now you know how the left-wing mind works. [00:02:35] Socialism? [00:02:36] That's just laborliness. [00:02:39] Neighborliness. [00:02:44] Yeah. [00:02:44] That's right. [00:02:46] The history of socialism is generally a history of mass murder. [00:02:51] But I guess that's just, they got it wrong. [00:02:56] It's really neighborliness. [00:02:57] That's all it is. [00:02:59] The government taking over your life. [00:03:03] Suspending civil rights like free speech. [00:03:07] That's neighborliness. [00:03:11] You folks in Minnesota voted for him. [00:03:14] But look, in places like Minnesota, it's a race to the bottom. [00:03:18] Minnesota, Illinois, Washington, Oregon, California. [00:03:26] They're in a competition for who can self-destruct more quickly, more thoroughly. [00:03:36] You know that something you know... [00:03:40] That's something that guy's going to have to live with for the rest of his life, that a black woman kicked his A. He's a sophisticated man. [00:03:54] As Governor Alpha News notes, Walls presided over Minnesota's historic, quote-unquote, 2023 legislative session when his DFL, that's the Democratic Party's name, Party took full control of state government. [00:04:11] Wow. [00:04:11] Like California. [00:04:15] This saw the passage of a progressive wish list of legislation, including a 40% increase in government spending. [00:04:23] Well, it's good to know that Minnesota is that much in the black. [00:04:29] Surplus that it can raise public spending by 40%. [00:04:33] But that's what they do, and that's how they get elected. [00:04:37] Who wants to bite the hand that feeds them? [00:04:42] Or the fan that heeds them? [00:04:45] Either one. [00:04:48] Yep, don't bite that fan. [00:04:53] That's what they do. [00:04:54] They buy votes. [00:04:55] The left has done that all of its history. [00:04:59] Vote for us. [00:05:00] We'll give you goodies. [00:05:04] Providing driver's licenses and health care to illegal immigrants. [00:05:10] Well, and declaring Minnesota a refuge for children seeking sex changes and more. [00:05:23] That little snippet from him that I played and that I quoted answers the question of how do leftists sleep well at night? [00:05:33] They really believe they're doing good. [00:05:36] The amount of evil done by people who believe they're doing good is much greater than the amount of evil done by people who believe they're doing evil. [00:05:43] Just remember that. [00:05:45] That's why intentions in such matters mean nothing, absolutely nothing. === Three Trillion Dollars Needed? (01:49) === [00:05:53] If I know a person means well, I know nothing about the person. [00:06:01] Nothing. [00:06:02] If I know somebody believes in God, I know nothing about that person. [00:06:10] Yeah. [00:06:11] I want to know specifically what you do. [00:06:14] I want to know specifically what your values are. [00:06:17] Do you value liberty or do you value big government? [00:06:20] They are mutually exclusive. [00:06:26] U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said Saturday that $3 trillion in new capital is required each year to combat climate change. [00:06:39] That's hard to believe. [00:06:41] This is from Politico. [00:06:43] $3 trillion a year? [00:06:47] That's $3,000 billion to combat climate change. [00:06:57] Thank you. [00:07:00] And it won't work. [00:07:01] I mean, that's the irony. [00:07:06] But that's beside the point. [00:07:08] Three trillion dollars a year. [00:07:13] We have the greatest amount of debt in American history. [00:07:18] Somebody's going to have to pay. [00:07:22] By and large... [00:07:25] Many of those people who will pay are the ones who vote for the Democrats. [00:07:31] And they probably will never blame themselves for it.
