DEI Has No Place In the Secret Service

Time Text
Yeah, I'm reading to you about the physically unfit, underqualified agents with a diversity-obsessed boss chosen by Dr. Jill Biden.
Headline in the Daily Mail in Britain.
Yes, it's really important.
It would seem the Secret Service under Director Cheadle has had other priorities.
A former Secret Service agent...
Said privately that she quit because field agents were understaffed.
Money has instead been diverted to DEI. Investment in new technology, including state-of-the-art drones, was also sacrificed at the altar of DEI. DEI must die.
Is that the name of the PragerU video?
DEI must die.
Cool.
Director Cheadle was appointed two years ago by President Biden with the blessing, perhaps even active support of his wife, Jill.
Cheadle had been on the Biden family security detail when Joe Biden was Vice President.
Jill Biden is obsessed with DEI, like most left-wing pseudo-academics.
Cheadle talks more about reaching 30% female agents by 2030 than she does about protecting those under her agency's care.
That's very important.
That's it.
We need more female agents.
So the question is not will we do a better job protecting public figures.
The question is will we get more women in.
And this piece ends, in the 1980s, the Secret Service was part of the U.S. Treasury Department, a hard taskmaster.
Now it is part of Homeland Security, whose boss, the hapless Alejandro Mayorkas, is also, quote, passionate, unquote, about DEI. He also assures us the southern border with Mexico is secure.
Well, here's the good news.
Microsoft lays off its DEI team.
That's what's happening increasingly.
Companies are firing.
It gives me...
It's rare that I rejoice at people losing their jobs.
Very rare.
I am thrilled when any one of these people ruining America, making good sums of money...
As Maoist operatives are fired, one wonders if they could actually do anything productive as a vocation.
I really do wonder it.
