| I lament deeply, deeply I lament the decline of Christianity. | |
| We are not in a post-Christian world, my friends. | |
| We are in a pre-Judeo-Christian world. | |
| We are reverting to pre-Old Testament values, like the worship of nature. | |
| And we're getting close to human sacrifice, I'm telling you. | |
| This has been the issue of my life, the consequences of secularism. | |
| It's been the one consistent theme of all of my work in life since my 20s. | |
| Everybody knows the consequences of bad religion. | |
| And there are bad religious people, and have been, and still are. | |
| However, secularism is a dead end. | |
| Even though there are many nice secular people, it is a dead end. | |
| I was talking to you last hour, I just mentioned in passing, the civil war in Ethiopia, about which you probably know nothing. | |
| I don't blame you because the press doesn't report it. | |
| The preoccupation is with Israel, where, I don't know, what is the latest... | |
| The latest figure of Palestinians killed in Gaza, I don't know, is it 20,000? | |
| And that's everybody, including... | |
| And by the way, we have no idea, and I reviewed with you why there is no reason to believe the data coming from Hamas. | |
| I mean, all of a sudden, Hamas is a truth-teller. | |
| But let's say it's true. | |
| Let's keep that number in mind. | |
| There is a civil war. | |
| There has been for two years in Ethiopia. | |
| 500,000 people have been killed. | |
| 500,000. | |
| Overwhelmingly civilians. | |
| Now you don't even know about it. | |
| Let alone are there any marches on campuses. | |
| Because they don't care about anybody except those who are fighting Jews. | |
| J-E-W-S. Israel is Jewish, so they hate Israel. | |
| You can't give me another good reason. | |
| It's the only Jewish state on earth. | |
| It's the size of New Jersey. | |
| So 60,000 black Christians in West Africa slaughtered, raped, tortured, kidnapped by Muslims. | |
| Nothing. | |
| 2% of Harvard students don't know it has happened. | |
| 0% know about Ethiopia. | |
| Oh, they're just dead blacks killed by blacks. | |
| Why do we care? | |
| Half a million. | |
| Why do we care? | |
| We're college students. | |
| We care about Israel. | |
| Palestinians are very lucky that their enemy is the Jewish state. | |
| Otherwise, nobody would know how to spell the word Palestinian. | |
| Half a million in Ethiopia in two years. | |
| Nothing! | |
| And the number of women raped is approximately 100,000. | |
| 100,000. | |
| So much for those of you fools who believe that human nature is basically good. | |
| Oh, what a stupid belief. | |
| What a stupid belief! | |
| It gets me so angry, as you can tell. | |
| Just thought I'd share that with you. | |
| I'm not a fan of stupidity. | |
| But the well-educated of the stupidest and the most likely to believe people are basically good. |
