I am frequently asked, so which of the five books, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, was the hardest?
And the most honest answer I can give is, whichever one I'm working on at that time is the hardest.
They're all hard. | |
Which is why it's so important that people read what I wrote in the Rational Bible.
Because I'm making hard texts understandable.
Not just understandable, but relevant.
If you like this program, you will love the Rational Bible.
Three volumes are out. | |
Fourth is coming out this year.
And then, God willing, Leviticus.
From where you get, by the way, love your neighbor as yourself.
Leviticus is tough going because it's filled with sacrificial laws and laws of purity and impurity.
It's also where you have love your neighbor as yourself.
It's also where you have the one verse, the one statement, the one anything on the Liberty Bell.
It's from Leviticus. | |
You shall proclaim liberty throughout the land unto all its inhabitants.
There would be no America were there no Bible. |
