Dennis Prager Show - It Takes Courage To Fight Evil Aired: 2024-01-07 Duration: 05:36 === Those Who Don't Fight Evil (02:21) === [00:00:00] I had a thought walking into the radio station, and it goes like this. [00:00:10] Those who don't fight evil, fight good. [00:00:16] It's really a variation in the thought that I've had all of my life, but what was my old way of putting it? [00:00:24] I had a way of putting a similar sentiment. [00:00:30] But when I think about it, it is really fascinating about not fighting evil. [00:00:38] If you don't think of Hamas as the quintessence of evil monsters, they're monsters. [00:00:45] If human beings can be monsters, Hamas is monsters. [00:00:51] It is a regime of sadism and cruelty. [00:00:58] Of the truly psychopathologic. [00:01:02] And if you don't fight them, what you end up doing is fighting the good. [00:01:07] You're fighting America, you fight Israel. [00:01:13] It's a perverse part of human nature, and I can't quite figure it out. [00:01:24] Except that it's a lot easier to fight the good than to fight the bad. [00:01:28] That's a big part of it. [00:01:30] You're not going to get hurt if you fight, as it were. [00:01:38] I don't even mean in violence. [00:01:39] Just fight verbally. [00:01:41] If you fight America, if you fight Christians, who's going to hurt you? [00:01:46] But if you fight Muslim regimes or Muslims... [00:01:51] And I'm not speaking about all Muslims. [00:01:53] I always have to make that clear for the people who don't wish to listen to what turns out to be morally true. [00:02:03] But nobody would do to Islam what is done. === Mocking the Mocked (03:30) === [00:02:11] For example, the crucifix in urine, the famous piss Christ, so-called artwork. [00:02:19] An act of... [00:02:21] which toured the country and was part of exhibitions that got National Institute of Art, or whatever it's called, the NEA, National... [00:02:32] What's the government arts grant? [00:02:37] NEA? National Endowment for the Arts, yeah. [00:02:41] National Endowment for the Arts. [00:02:43] A crucifix in urine. [00:02:46] Well, what about the LGBTQIA +, mockery of nuns at Dodger Stadium, which the Los Angeles Dodgers honored, honored these people, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. [00:03:02] You can mock publicly. [00:03:04] You can be a baseball team. [00:03:07] I loathe the Los Angeles Dodgers, by the way, and I live in Los Angeles. [00:03:11] I have come to loathe. [00:03:13] The cowards who run that organization. [00:03:16] I hope they lose with their gigantic budget. [00:03:19] I truly do. [00:03:20] I root against them. [00:03:21] I root against the Lakers. [00:03:23] It is very sad, but I don't choose based on geography. [00:03:29] I do if everything's morally neutral, then I'm a local LA fan. [00:03:35] That's fine. [00:03:37] But otherwise, when... [00:03:43] When teams go out of their way to mock my society, why on God's earth would I root for them? [00:03:51] I rooted for the Texas Rangers. [00:03:52] They were the only ones who didn't cow to the LGBTQIA plus agenda. [00:04:05] And they won the World Series. [00:04:07] Isn't that something? [00:04:08] The one Major League Baseball team. [00:04:11] That didn't have an LGBTQIA plus evening. [00:04:17] Yes, you can mock Christians. [00:04:20] Nothing will happen to you. [00:04:22] You mock Muslims. [00:04:23] You may die, as many have. [00:04:27] Just making a drawing of Muhammad is a death sentence. [00:04:32] Salman Rushdie wrote a novel that Khomeini, the first monster to run Iran, When it became an Islamic republic and now has been stabbed. [00:04:47] His whole life has been spent under this fatwa. [00:04:53] So it takes courage to fight evil. [00:04:56] It takes no courage to fight the good. [00:04:59] So that's what the left is. [00:05:01] The left is, we'll fight good. [00:05:05] What's going to happen? [00:05:06] Is Israeli going to hurt you? [00:05:09] A Jew? [00:05:13] Yeah, well-known Jewish violence in America. [00:05:20] I got a lot of issues with my fellow Jews, but violence is not one of them. [00:05:27] You could truly defund a lot of police departments if the only people in the district were Jewish.
