Hi, everybody, and welcome to the Dennis Prager Show.
A very long weekend.
I was last on with you on Wednesday.
Thursday, Thanksgiving.
Friday, we give everybody off here.
Many of you, of course, were doing something else as well, but we still played best of Dennis Prager shows, which I think we could do.
We're not going to, but I think we could do it half the time, and it would be beneficial.
Most of what I say is not time-bound, even if it's utilizing an issue of the day.
I wonder if your Thanksgiving was as meaningful as in past years.
Undoubtedly, you have members of the family who believe that Thanksgiving is not only a myth, but an immoral myth.
So I'd be curious to hear from you if that arose.
In other words, was it the same as in pre-COVID years?
Because many of you didn't even have a Thanksgiving during the lockdown period.
I did.
Both times, my wife's whole family were with us and celebrated.
So I have a great dilemma on Mondays, and especially so if there's been a...
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, five days not being with you.
So believe it or not, this one has really hit me.
This is reported in Universe Sports.
Have you ever heard of that?
No.
If you've never heard of it, it's not a well-known site.
But it does provide the data.
Stanford Band, at Stanford University, the band, stages controversial halftime skit during football game against BYU. A halftime performance during BYU football's visit to Stanford Saturday night is causing a stir on social media for its content lampooning Latter-day Saint beliefs.
The Stanford University band mocked LDS, Mormon beliefs.
Why wouldn't they?
They went to Stanford.
Every elite university has at its core a contempt for every expression of Christianity.
I know that Many Christians do not deem Mormons theologically Christian.
I have no desire to enter that issue, but it would be a little odd to deny that a church calling itself the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has no connection to Christianity.
It certainly does to the...
Religion-hating folks at Stanford.
They have to hate religion at elite universities because the competition for the world is between the left and the Judeo-Christian world.
It's as simple as that.
They're taught from a very young age that people who believe in God, let alone who have rituals, as Mormons do, as Orthodox Jews do, And to some extent Catholics, but not nearly as much as Mormons and Jews.
These people are only worthy of contempt in their view.
The Stanford band staged a skit entitled, the word should be titled, but few people know that, Gay Chicken, which involved a pair of women being married to each other.
With the officiator.
Sorry about that.
With the officiator.
Using terms and phrases taken from sacred temple ceremonies within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
This sounds to me, I wonder if this is a Mormon site.
Because the Mormon Church is very careful now not to use the term Mormon.
I don't know why they have a difficult time with it.
I do know why.
Because they so want to emphasize that they are Christian.
Anyway, that's an interesting but separate issue.
Stanford just had a skit during halftime called Gay Chicken involving two women getting married for time and all eternity.
That is the term that Mormons use.
And then being told to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth.
As the tweeter Jackson Payne notes, I'm guessing it's no coincidence they did this against BYU. Several BYU fans in attendance Saturday told Universe Sports that they found the skit upsetting and rude for its inclusion of sacred temple themes.
See, if you say that men do not give birth at Stanford, you are held in such contempt that you might lose your job if you're not a tenured professor, and if you are a student, you will be ostracized and condemned.
If you use terminology from the Mormon Church and use it to mock the Church, that's fine.
It's like the Book of Mormon, the famous Broadway play.
The cowards who made the Book of Mormon would never have done the Book of the Koran.
Never.
They mock people who won't hurt them.
That is the reason the left...
Mocks Christians.
They never mock Muslims.
They know Christians won't hurt them.
It's as simple as that.
Cowardice is at the heart of leftism.
Cowardice is at the heart of the university.
If you're not a coward, you do not qualify as a dean or as a president of a university.
Other fans were confused as to why Stanford administration would allow such a production at halftime when its own football program already has a number of Latter-day Saint ties.
As five Cardinals, Cardinals are the Stanford players, are church members and served full-time missions, included highly-touted starting quarterback Tanner McKee.
Stanford defensive coordinator Lass Anderson is a returned missionary as well.
The skit comes less than three weeks following a statement issued by Stanford.
All right, that's a separate issue.
Okay, anyway.
I thought I would begin with that because it's so symbolic of the cesspool that Stanford, Yale, Princeton, University of Pennsylvania have become.
You send your child there because it's prestigious.
And nothing brings a parent more prestige, I take it back.
Nothing brings a parent as much prestige as the child attending a prestigious college.
Parents live, very many parents live through their children.
And that is the most important thing to many parents, to be able to say, my child is at or will or just got accepted to.
Or just graduated from.
Notice I added from.
It has finally worked.
The Julie corrections of me on our Dennis and Julie podcast.
I've always said graduated without from.
Now I'm back.
Not back.
I'm finally at from.
By the way, that's a subject unto itself.
Living through your child.
For the record, and I said this at the time, I told my kids I didn't give a damn about their grades, and I didn't give a damn what college they went to, or for that matter, if they went to college.
I only cared about their character.
And so, if your kid is at Stanford and in the band and helped mock the Mormon church, You got what you planned.
A piece of crap who got into Stanford.
Congratulations.
I'm Dennis Prager.
We return.

Hello everybody, Dennis Prager here.
Have I been right or have I been right all of my life with my saying, I love people and I have contempt for humanity?
I got that right at a very early age.
Yep.
Yes, indeed, as I often say.
So, Kanye West visited President Trump, and he brought a man named Nick Fuentes.
I was not familiar with him prior to this.
And my belief has always been that there is a special place in hell, and I believe in hell, for the people who deny the Holocaust.
You have to be a particularly vile human being for your contempt for truth and your loathing of the Jews.
I hesitate to even say that there is no more documented event of which I am aware than the Holocaust.
You know, when I first heard that there were people who denied it happened, I remember a guy called my show and actually said that many, many years ago.
And I didn't yell at him.
All I said was, so I assume that you'll call up a talk show now and say that no slaves were, no slavery took place.
That in fact the blacks came from Africa on cruise ships.
He said, no, no, no, I would never say that.
I said, why not?
That's the same, denying slavery is the same as denying the Holocaust.
But it's interesting, they don't deny slavery.
So that's why it's clear that there's a hatred of Jews involved.
But the hatred of truth...
Is even more dangerous in some ways than the hatred of Jews.
But the hatred of truth always leads to evil.
That Kanye West brought this lowlife, this vile creature to the, not the White House, the Mar-a-Lago, doesn't speak well for Kanye West.
That he even associates with Nick Fuentes gives you an idea of the low level to which he has sunk.
Anti-Semitism is truly TNT, and everyone plays with it, ultimately gets burned.
Look at Germany.
Gets blown up.
Gets blown up.
That's correct.
More precise.
Here's Nick Fuentes.
And I truly do believe that.
There's no doubt in my mind that there is a good God and that there is reward and punishment after this life.
Because if God is good, there has to be.
And you have guaranteed yourself a very difficult afterlife.
When you deny the most organized evil, That we know of.
The shipping of every Jew, two out of three Jews in Europe, to their deaths, the burial of them alive, the tortures, the medical experiments.
I knew people who went through this.
Did they make it up?
So here is Nick Fuentes.
The human crap.
Every generation produces a handful of truly good and a handful of truly evil people.
Fuentes is in the latter category.
And again, that Kanye West brings this person to Donald Trump.
You would think that Donald Trump would have advisors who find out what guests anybody would bring.
Apparently he didn't.
Kanye West has hurt the President and has hurt Candace Owens.
He's a piece of work.
Here is a video of Nick Fuentes mocking the Holocaust and denying that more than a few hundred thousand Jews were slaughtered.
Max says, if I take one hour to cook a batch of cookies and Cookie Monster has 15 ovens working 24 hours a day every day for five years, how long does it take Cookie Monster to make six million batches of cookies?
So you all get that?
So the Jews are baked cookies.
That's the analogy.
You couldn't bake the six million cookies in five years.
He has this...
Diabolic smile the whole time.
I don't even need any more, Sean.
And this is the type of human being that Kanye West regards as a friend, brought to the president.
A lot of bad stuff out there, my friends.
We'll be back in a moment.
History repeats itself and we're seeing that play out with inflation.
When Jimmy Carter took office in the late 70s, gold sold for $140 an ounce.
By 1980, the price of gold topped out at $870 an ounce.
If today's market performs like it did when Carter was in office, the price of gold could skyrocket from $1,800 an ounce to $9,300 an ounce.
This is Dennis Prager for Amphed Coin& Bullion.
Don't miss out on a great opportunity to purchase precious metals while the prices are still stable.
If history repeats itself, we'll see a run on gold, silver, and platinum that will certainly drive up prices.

Hi everybody.
Dennis Prager here.
Simon in Los Angeles.
Hello.
Yes, hi, Dennis.
Hi.
I'm a huge, huge fan of yours.
I just wanted to say everything you do, from the political to the happiness hour to male, female, just all the important subjects.
Anyway, I was calling because just a clarification, you were talking about the Book of Mormon and said the guys who made it would never attack Islam, but that's not actually true.
They're the guys who made South Park.
And they had an episode where they specifically poked fun at the Prophet and got a lot of blowback for it.
You're right, and that's why I took your call, and it's a correction worth noting.
What I think, though, I specifically noted there would never be a Broadway show called The Book of the Quran.
That's what I recall saying, and I still stand by that.
To have an episode of South Park is very different from a Broadway show.
But you're right, and I admire those guys for their courage in many and many instances.
So thank you very much for the correction.
But the general rule still remains.
The left mocks Christianity.
It does not mock Islam.
That's because the left is cowardly.
And it all started with what the Stanford Band did, Stanford University Band, at the Saturday night game against the Mormon University, BYU, Brigham Young University, where they had a mockery of the sacred vows taken in the temple when two Mormons marry.
San Dimas, California, and Devin.
Hello, Devin.
Hi, Dennis.
Honored to talk to you.
Real quick, just a quick point.
I've noticed when some people introduce you, they mention the New York Times bestseller, and I know, I love your books, and you sold a bunch of them, and rightly so, but why even mention the New York Times, or as I call it, the New York Slime?
They don't even get support scores right for the past 15 years, compared to their whole history.
It's just, why even give them any notoriety at all?
Well, I never say it.
I can't tell people who introduce me what to say.
I've never said I'm a New York Times bestselling writer.
I wasn't sure about that.
Alright, so now you know.
It's a fraud, the New York Times bestseller list, in any event.
And I pointed this out in my last book.
When my first volume, the first volume of my Bible commentary, The Rational Bible, came out.
It was the book of Exodus.
It was number two on Amazon.
Number one in nonfiction, the only book in the country that outsold it when it was published, was a fiction book.
For a Bible commentary, it's almost unheard of.
And I wrote a column, how high it was, I think, the Wall Street Journal bestseller list, number two or three, number one in Publishers Weekly, which monitors every book published.
Every other list didn't even make the New York Times.
And I so caught them lying that they actually tweeted a reaction to me.
And their argument is, we don't tell people how we come to make our list.
What kind of excuse is that?
You don't tell people how you come to make your list?
Your list is a fraud.
It so often doesn't include, like mine, a religious book, especially a religious conservative book.
Sometimes conservatives make it.
Sometimes they don't.
I have no interest.
The New York Times bestseller list is as interesting to me as that your kid went to Stanford.
Which is relevant here.
Jim in Detroit, hello.
Hello, Dennis.
It's a pleasure to talk to you.
Thank you.
I am a product of a $2 family.
I became a physician, and my son I sent to Catholic grade school, Catholic high school, and Catholic university.
He ended up getting it.
I'm sorry, the Catholic university or a Catholic university?
University of Detroit.
Okay.
Jesuit school.
Anyhow, he was lucky enough to get a job at NASA, and then NASA paid for his master's degree at Stanford.
Up until he went to Stanford, he was going to math at U of D. And ever since Stanford, there's absolutely No religious interest and or affiliation.
Hold on with me.
I actually want to talk to you about this for a moment.

Hi, everybody.
I hope you had a good Thanksgiving.
I did.
But I didn't miss any over the lockdowns.
I never say over COVID. The lockdowns were the issue.
So it was wonderful, but not a relief to finally have it again.
I had a Thanksgiving with family.
My wife's family, my family, is in the East, and I don't think they would have gotten together at least in 2020. But her family is more conservative, and...
We did get together, so we were together Thanksgiving 2020, 2021, and now 2022. We believe in Thanksgiving.
We believe that a day of thanks commemorating the founding of this country, the people who were basically ignorant of history.
All America was founded on violence.
Hmm.
And tell me what country was not.
What country was not founded on violence?
People move to other places.
People don't want them to move there, and they fight.
That is the history of the world.
Hopefully it is coming to an end, and people will honor boundaries and frontiers.
But...
That is true everywhere.
Did Indian tribes not fight other Indian tribes?
Did white people, did Europeans, come to a continent of pacifists?
The issue is hatred of America.
The issue isn't historical truth.
Talking about truth, so listen to this.
Where is this from?
Is this from a daily caller?
They have a lot of good stuff, Daily Caller.
From scolio...
I bet you didn't hear about that one, eh?
Scoliosexual?
Are you a scoliosexual?
You don't know?
That's right.
You can never tell.
To gray gender, we've defined the most vexing of San Francisco's 130 gender options.
So, my friends, at what point...
Are you permitted?
No, no.
Permitted is not the right word.
Are you morally obligated to mock the left?
To understand that it is a world of intellectual and moral chaos, and that is all it is?
Boy, I remember when I reported that Facebook had 56 gender options.
Now San Francisco has 130. San Francisco's guaranteed income for transgender people gives applicants 130 gender, sexual orientation, and pronoun options to identify as.
I can't read this one.
Individuals can select gender F. You fill in the F word.
Boy, B-O-I, sister, girls, butch.
The lists merely pander to the community of people who identify under the transgender umbrella.
A person might apply under one identity label and declare a different one by the time the application is processed.
That's a good point.
That was stated by Mary Hassan, a fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center.
So let's see some of these terms here that you can now qualify as to get a guaranteed income from San Francisco.
The gender identity, well let's see, we got here, well I can't read to you some of the names.
So I'll do the cleaner ones.
The gender identity Sister Girl coincides with Brother Boy, two terms used by Indigenous Australians to describe transgender individuals.
The Trans Hub, a resource platform for the transgender community, stated, Sister Girl is defined as, quote, a gender-diverse people that have a female spirit and take on female roles within the community.
And brother boy is defined as a gender diverse people that have a male spirit and take on male roles within the community.
The nerve you have of asking that question, you're like the kid who yells the emperor is naked.
My producer looks at me and says, did you say what the hell does that mean or what does that mean?
Which did you say?
The H. You did?
You did do the H word?
It doesn't mean anything.
That's the point.
It doesn't mean anything.
Men give birth doesn't mean anything.
The term boy is for queer people of color, that's B-O-I, is for queer people of color usually describing, quote, queer women who present with masculinity.
You know what that means?
Okay.
