We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
The Milwaukee prosecutor has blood on his hands as much as any accessory to murder might have.
I just learned that he's a George Soros-funded prosecutor.
George Soros, I believe, is one of the most evil human beings alive.
Everything he touches turns...
To evil.
If I believed in the devil, I would believe that he was diabolic.
I will acknowledge that a lifelong non-belief in the devil has been challenged in the course of the last year and a half.
I will acknowledge that.
It is tough to explain certain things without belief in the demonic.
But that's not here or there.
What is here?
Is that there are people on Earth who revel in destruction.
Those of us who are normal, morally normal, and psychologically normal, do not understand them.
I don't understand a Soros, although I gave a try many years ago, maybe ten years ago.
I wrote a piece on George Soros.
You might want to look it up.
There are 1,000 columns of mine on the Internet.
And you get a very good education about life if you read them.
You'd also see, and I say this with some self-consciousness, but I think it's important to note, how much of the time I was right and attacked for saying crazy things in the eyes of the left who dominate the media, like the lockdown was the greatest mistake in history.
I will be reading to you from an L.A. teacher who was a big fan of her...
I think it's Alex.
Alex can go either way.
Most teachers are female, so I assume this is a female.
Although I guess I should look up the name.
Let me give you this, and we can look up the name in the meantime.
It's a devastating article about what teachers and...
Gavin Newsom and other terrible human beings have done to children.
I called the child abuse.
One of the only countries that did not abuse their children was Sweden.
Quite a time we're living in.
The Milwaukee prosecutor The DA, what he had done was, he had been freed on a $1,000 bond.
He has a record of incredible violence.
He tried to run over, was this his girlfriend?
Yes.
Brooks had a long rap sheet.
Wall Street Journal and the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office said he had been out on a $1,000 bond.
What is the bond for those who participated in the January 6th events in the Capitol?
There was no bond.
There is no bond.
We're living in an increasingly dictatorial country because of the left.
The only reason you would not acknowledge that is you are afraid to.
It's very hard to acknowledge at a certain point in life you've been wrong your whole life in thinking that the Democratic Party was a force for good or that the New York Times was a truth teller or that universities were positive educational experiences.
Or gave wisdom.
It's very hard.
My heart breaks for such people.
There's a book about such people, The God That Failed.
It's written by people who believed in communism in the 30s and 40s.
When you believe in something your whole life, and then you realize, like this teacher who wrote this piece that I will read to you, I so admired my fellow teachers and the teaching profession and the teachers' union.
And then I was awakened.
Most of my fellow teachers are morons.
Bad, stupid, destructive morons.
Some are terrific.
I want to always make that clear.
The teachers' union are as evil as George Soros.
So it's very hard, very, very hard.
Those who voted for Joe Biden.
Because they were disgusted by Donald Trump.
When will they say we were wrong?
What does Biden have to do?
You know that Biden tweeted last year?
He tweeted a video of white supremacists that included Kyle Rittenhouse.
I just saw this video this morning before coming into the studio.
Remember a saying I made up about thirty years ago.
Being on the left means never having to say you're sorry.
Kyle Rittenhouse is a moral giant compared to the pygmy, the moral pygmy in the presidency.
I have never called presidents names.
Whether Clinton eight years, Obama eight years, differed strongly with them, this man is a scum.
Human being.
The man who was president.
He's a bad man.
What was that?
He's an amoral bad man.
$1,000 bond after he allegedly tried to hit the mother of his child with his vehicle.
Didn't he succeed?
She wasn't hit with the vehicle.
Tried to run her over.
It's pretty mild.
$1,000 bond.
Because the left believes way too many blacks are in prison.
So it doesn't matter how much evil a black criminal commits.
You let them out.
Because the people who let them out are living in places where they won't get hurt.
So it's okay if others get hurt.
Who is this guy?
What is his name?
John Chisholm.
He is as directly a cause of the murder.
He is accessory to the murderer.
Were it not for John Chisholm, those five people would be alive and the terribly injured would be fine.
Do you understand that?
John Chisholm.
Remember the name.
The man's evil.
The man's an accessory to mass murder.
And I don't think he gives a damn.
By the way, I don't care if he gives a damn.
If he gave a damn, he'd quit.
Okay?
But he doesn't want to quit.
What job is he going to get?
He apologized.
He apologized.
Yeah, I know.
It was too low.
It was too low.
Right.
Should have been $5,000.
He was arrested the same day and charged with obstructing an officer, endangering public safety, disorderly conduct, jumping bail, and battery.
Why was someone with that violent history released on such a minor bond?
This is the Wall Street Journal.
The DA's office said it is conducting an internal review of the bail decision, which sounds like ex post self-protection.
The state's bail recommendation in this case was inappropriately low in light of the nature of the recent charges and pending charges against Mr. Brooks, said the DA's office in a statement.
The Milwaukee County DA is John Chisholm.
Remember, oh, did they mention about John Chisholm?
Remember when the governor of Wisconsin, remember there was a DA who went after him?
The Republican governor, who's with YAF. Scott Walker.
Didn't he pursue Scott Walker?
Take a look.
John Chisholm, Scott Walker.
Oh yeah, here it is.
The next sentence.
The Milwaukee County DA is John Chisholm, a Democrat, who readers may recall for his office's unjustified pursuit of donors to former Governor Scott Walker's campaign.
Man's a crook.
The man is a left-wing Democrat operative.
That's all he is.
He uses the DA's office to further the interests of the Democratic Party.
He's as interested in justice as the KGB. But people will vote Democrat.
There is nothing the Democrats could do that would persuade large numbers of Democratic voters to abandon them.
They're the good guys and Republicans are the bad guys.
That has been cemented into their minds.
No, into their hearts.
Because it's an emotion.

The recent war in history threatens to erase America's past.
The Pilgrims, hailed by movie guide as inspiring, combats the lies to reveal America's true history.
They were poor.
They were outcasts.
They were enemies of the state for their refusal to submit to the Church of England.
The Mayflower was a cargo ship, but the most precious cargo that was carried across the Atlantic were the ideas in the hearts of the Pilgrims that were drawn from the Bible.
The idea of self-government and rule from within.
All these are within that body of pilgrims.
The pilgrims founded America for all intents and purposes.

Obama tore this country down.
No one stood up to him.
Nobody.
Because he was black.
You need to wake up.
I didn't call you a nigger.
Oh, okay.
That's a big difference.

Most black people don't believe that other blacks can be independent, free thinkers.
I believe the legacy and the ancestry of black Americans is being insulted every single day.
I will not pretend to be a victim in this country.
I know that that makes many people on the left uncomfortable.
The liberal will try to control a black person through the concept of racism because they know that we are very proud, emotional people.

Around Christmas time we always do fundraising for a great charity. - Let's see.
For years, I did the Salvation Army until their leadership caved in.
You'd think they have more fear of God than their fear of the left, but a lot of religious people don't fear God.
Anyway, what we have found to replace...
Last year in this, and I think it's a terrific thing, is kids whose parents are in prison, or parents, not parents, maybe parents, to give them a Christmas and to get them gifts.
Whatever you faith, I think, is a beautiful thing.

All right, are we ready with the interview with AOC? No, no, no.
Rashida Tlaib.
Oh, Rashida Tlaib.
Oh, my God.
Rashida Tlaib.
Well, they are somewhat interchangeable.
Is there anything they differ on?
Rashida Tlaib.
I'll have more to say about her afterwards.
So this is Axios.
And the interviewer is Jonathan Swann.
And Jonathan Swann is the interviewer.
Sean, go ahead, please.
I
think that everyone's like, "Oh my God, we're gonna just release everybody." That's not what I'm saying.
Yeah, but did you see how many people are mentally ill that are in prison right now?
No, I know, but the act that you endorsed actually says release everyone in 10 years.
But in 10 years, but think about it, who will release you?
But there are like...
Human traffickers.
Oh, I know.
Child sex.
Do you mean that you don't actually support that?
No.
Because you endorse the bill.
No, I endorse the BREATHE Act in looking at federal policies and how we incarcerate.
Absolutely.
But it says in there...
But you cannot just blankedly say, oh, look, she wants...
That's not what I'm...
But that's like in plain text.
But what I'm saying is look at who's in prison now.
No, look at the folks that are mentally ill, that have substance abuse problems.
But I'm not disagreeing with you that there are people who shouldn't be in prison.
Yeah, but then why aren't you asking me about them?
You're asking me about the human traffickers and others that should be able to be held accountable.
No, no, no.
What I'm trying to understand is your proposal is so sweeping.
It does release everyone.
And what I'm trying to say to you is...
Within 10 years, and obviously there's a process of looking at how can we get away from mass incarceration and move towards care first.
But what I'm trying to understand, because it is such a...
And move towards what?
Care?
So a guy has tortured his wife to death.
We figure out how to care and not in prison?
Well, while we're caring for him, is he in a facility that he can't get out of?
He's not in prison.
By the way, you will notice she basically denies what she stands for.
It calls for all prisoners in federal detention centers to be released within 10 years.
All.
So then she goes, well, obviously some, but it's not obvious.
Okay, keep going.
It does release everyone.
And what I'm trying to say to you is...
Within 10 years, and obviously there's a process of looking at how can we get away from mass incarceration and move towards care first.
But what I'm trying to understand, because it is such a sweeping concrete proposal, do you believe that there are still categories of people who should be behind bars?
There are absolutely folks.
Folks.
I don't know, because right now, the way the prison system is supposed to be, like, rehabilitating, you know, it's supposed to be rehabilitation, right?
Right.
No, really, that's how they...
I understand.
Yeah.
I don't think there's any rehabilitation happening right now for those that might actually have, you know, and again, a majority, there's so many that have mental health issues, other struggling issues.
Do you think all people can be rehabilitated?
I don't think so.
I've been very clear about that.
Okay.
And I only tell you that because, you know...
As somebody that has worked in the legal field and others, I don't even know if our society would even know how to be able to rehabilitate every single person that wants to harm people, right?
But I can tell you that what's struggling for me is seeing the statistics about so many people at a very young age that are in there that probably would not have been in there but for the fact that they...
They were struggling with mental illness or other issues within their family life.
Can I say something?
One second.
I am amazed that those who work with the mentally ill are not offended by the left.
It is so fascinating.
Everybody, people are hypersensitive in most cases.
They find offense where no offense was meant.
Say you're colorblind, you're a racist.
That is the official position of the University of California and almost every other university.
What percentage of mentally ill people commit murder?
Were the people who went into Nordstrom's in San Francisco, what were the 80 of them, and stole whatever they could find and got away, were they mentally ill?
This notion that they're all mentally ill is absurd.
Most of us know someone who's mentally ill, but they're not prepared to murder.
Mentally ill and conscience are not mutually exclusive.
The number of non-mentally ill evil people is much greater than the number of mentally ill evil people.
Please continue.
They wouldn't have been in there if they weren't mentally ill.
No, they're in there because they really hurt somebody or murdered somebody or stole a person's savings, which is a pretty big deal, by the way.
You know, we're so inured to evil that they just stole.
It was just money.
When you take somebody's money, when you steal somebody's money, it is a terrible thing.
It is truly a terrible thing.
Ask anybody about the trauma, and I don't use the word often, of coming home and knowing that your home has been burglarized.
You feel forever exposed, not to mention demeaned, and not to mention poorer.
It's a bad woman.
Another woman.
Well, she had the perfect sign.
She hates America and Israel.
That's what animates her.
That's always a giveaway.
Always.
And that is great.
And also the bill would create more than 150 new government programs at a time when the government can't even manage the programs it has on the books.
It's absolutely insane.
I'm imploring my colleagues in swing districts, so-called blue dog Democrats, moderate Democrats, if for no other reason than I'm appealing to their own political survival instincts.
Walk away from this bill before it's too late.
This is an incredible act of hubris on the part of the Democrats right now, and it is bad for America.
So BBB is $2 billion for tree equity, doubling the size of the IRS. And what's the third takeaway?
Because you've got to define a bill by its most absurd provisions.
And so we've got doubling the IRS size, tree equity.
What's number three?
I think the Civilian Climate Corps is a great encapsulation.
I think you're right.
And there are really 300,000 people in that?
That's what's been estimated.
This is AOC's signature provision.
She wants a bunch of unemployed baristas to become government-paid civilian activists running around the country doing God knows what at the taxpayer.
I mean, is it outlined?
Do they tell us what the Civilian Conservation Corps is going to do?
Not in any detailed or meaningful sense.
And because we haven't had a meaningful committee process, no one's even able to ask basic questions in a public setting and demand answers from, let's say, the executive branch agencies that would be in charge of overseeing these brand new programs.
That was my next question.
Who gets to oversee the tree equity money?

Sometimes there are policies so destructive that at first you don't believe they're true.
Joe Biden is currently defending one.
His plan to award $450,000 to migrants separated from their families after entering the U.S. illegally.
Children of deceased U.S. soldiers are separated from their parents permanently.
They don't receive this kind of money.
And migrants who enter the US legally certainly don't get this kind of payout.
The really big jackpot, it seems, is being reserved for the lawbreakers.
There are some obvious truths here.
First, behavior that's subsidized gets repeated.
Joe Biden is effectively inviting many more illegal immigrants to breach America's open borders.
Second, he's betting over time the payoffs will benefit his party in political terms.
Meanwhile, the vast majority of Americans watch in shock and dismay as our president, the country's chief law enforcement officer, brazenly rewards lawbreaking, a clear violation of his oath to defend our nation's laws.
It's a sorry sight indeed.
This is why we're fighting.
For the soul of a man.

Hello, all.
When I was in high school, I knew I wasn't a leftist.
I thought I was a liberal.
And after all, you know, Jewish kid growing up in New York, going to Columbia, what else is he going to be?
I was a Democrat.
I was a liberal.
By the way, in most instances, I'm still a liberal.
Just liberals are weak and vote for the left.
I don't know what non-liberal value I hold.
The only one might be the size of government, which is what moved me to the Republicans.
But I knew I hated the left very, very early because they didn't hate evil.
I hate evil.
And I didn't discover until adulthood a line in the Bible, those who love God must hate evil.
My favorite verse in the Bible.
If you don't hate evil, you don't love God.
A lot of religious people are ruled out they don't hate evil.
They love bomb everybody.
Oh, we have to just love.
We just have to love.
Really?
You love the guy who ran down these people?
There are people, wonderful human beings, who will say, yes, we hate the sin, but we love the sinner.
Okay, I won't get into that.
It's a debate, yes.
And the left loves him, too, because he suffers from mental illness.
I'm sure they would declare that.
Hmm.
So let's say you love your children and you love the man who mowed down these people in Wisconsin.
But you say, oh no, it's a different love.
Oh, so do you love the man who mowed down the people less than your children?
Well, forget your children.
Name the finest human you can think of who is not related to you.
Do you love the guy in Wisconsin as much as you love that person?
Should you?
Does love have no moral category to it?
Anyway, they don't hate evil, and that's exactly what Rashida Tlaib and the whole gang is.
Let out evil people.
Let them leave prison.
So she's being asked.
Do you still support the BREATHE Act that will empty all federal detention centers within 10 years?
Empty them.
Get it?
Whatever they did.
So she doesn't have a clear answer.
We have another minute.
And I salute this gentleman.
Swan, what's his first name?
Jonathan Swan of Axios.
continue please experts Experts are, to the unthinking, what scripture is to the religious.
They just say experts, and we're supposed to go, oh, oh, oh, okay, then I will not think any longer.
Because you said the word experts.
That's what it is.
Experts.
Experts on what?
On how to combat evil?
I'm interested in that expert.
Continue, please.
It is experts and others out there saying, this is actually not keeping us safe because folks are getting released and they didn't get the care they needed.
But in your vision, there is still whatever proportion they are, a small proportion, who do need to be behind bars.
Yeah, again, I would have to look at every case individually and figure that all out.
Then she's not for her BREATH Act.
I mean, she sponsored an act in Congress.
Or supported one that empties out federal detention centers.
So what does it mean?
You will look at every case.
Empty out means you don't look at every case.
You can't have both positions.
Please continue.
...figure that all out.
I can't just say that.
I just want, but I want the American people to know.
They need to know this.
Everyone in jail is not the same.
Because we always pick the worst of the worst cases.
Yeah, but we pick up the worst of the worst cases and we just blankedly...
I agree.
I mean, I think that's really dangerous because a lot of my returning residents are in black clubs doing amazing things.
Youth mentoring right now.

Last night, the New York Times ran a headline, Social Spending Infrastructure Advances in House.
And I thought to myself, when did socialism go from big government to social spending infrastructure?
Social spending infrastructure doesn't mean anything.
It's never been a term of art.
It doesn't have any meaning.
It's a cover term.
For a vast hose of money on everything.
This isn't going to get through the Senate, is it?
Oh, no.
I don't think this is going to get through the Senate.
And the infrastructure bill got through, but that's going to be about it on these big spending programs.
And Pelosi and her crew want $4 trillion in spending.
And, of course, I get it.
Pelosi wants to pass this thing.
So that she can be an ambassador and head to Rome.
What they're trying to do is cast one vote.
And in that one vote, they want to take control of your kids, control of education, control of your health care, federalizing elections, changing immigration policy, then more provisions of the Green New Deal and a socialist economy.
Are you telling me that Speaker Pelosi, we're going to visit her on the Pope?
Is that what you're telling me?

Thank you.
Where is Varico?
It's Valrico, V-A-L. Oh, wait, wait, whoa.
I made the boo-boo.
Where is it?
Where is it?
It's near Tampa.
Oh.
Oh, I love that area.
We're a suburb of Tampa.
You're lucky to live there.
All right, what's on your mind?
Well, when you talked about loving the sinner, but hating the sin, I really do believe in that.
But it doesn't mean that you don't punish the sinner.
God punishes sinners all the time.
Right.
You know that that phrase does not come from either the Old or New Testament.
You do know that.
Well, I have to look it up.
Okay, trust me.
It doesn't.
Okay.
Okay, so bless you.
I don't believe in it for one second.
I don't know why people do believe in it.
What did you say?
Did you say, looking it up, that Gandhi has...
It's been partly, some attributed to him.
Some attributed to him.
I'm sure it's older than that.
But anyway, it's nowhere to be found in either testament, just for the record.
There's a great statement about this in, let's see, in God Faith Media, or Good Faith Media.
Maybe that's the title.
Yeah, goodfaithmedia.org.
The Bible doesn't say love the sinner or hate the sin anywhere.
Yep, that's true.
It doesn't.
Why would it?
It's a bad idea.
It perverts love.
I love the man who took an SUV and mowed down men, women, and children.
If I love him, then what does my love of my producer, my friend, my co-conspirator at PragerU, I love him.
So you'll say, well, okay, well, that's different love.
Well, what the hell does that mean?
Love is love.
I know there's agape and all these other things.
That's a separate issue.
If I love the man who ran over people, who smashed human beings to death deliberately, who brain-damaged innocent human beings out for a Christmas parade, Then what does it mean that I love good people?
It means love is meaningless.
Maybe we'll do the ultimate issues on that.
Because I like to do any of those specialty hours on things that I'm passionate about.
And this arose.
Do you love the man who did what he did in Wisconsin?
There's a good one.
Good.
Okay.
Okay. - Alrighty, everybody.
Latest in about this despicable human being, John Chisholm.
There should be a movement to...
Well, I guess he can't be incarcerated, but certainly removed from the office.
Another Soros vile district attorney.
These people pervert the law because of their sick views.
You bet my bail reforms will kill people.
Shocking 2000 admission of woke Waukesha DA John Chisholm, who guaranteed innocent people would be murdered by the killers he sets free.
This is from the Daily Mail today.
Milwaukee County DA John Chisholm said in 2007, is there going to be an individual I divert or put into a program who's going to go out and kill?
You bet!
In 2013, his office gave a deferred prosecution to a convicted drug dealer.
That dealer, after being released, fatally injected a 26-year-old woman with heroin, then tried to hide her body but was caught.
On November 11th, his office granted Daryl Brooks a $1,000 bond.
Brooks went, huh?
This is Daryl Brooks.
That's the guy.
Brooks went free and within a few weeks was behind the wheel of his car again.
Five people were murdered when he drove through the Christmas parade.
Trisholm admitted Brooks' bail was inappropriately low and a review was being conducted.
These are the moments when those old airline vomit bags come in handy.
There are mounting calls for him to resign, with many saying the victim's blood is on his hands.
I'm one of them!
If you don't say the victim's blood are on his hands, there's something wrong with your conscience.
Representative Scott Fitzgerald, who represents Waukesha in Congress, said the turnstile approach to justice needs to be changed.
Well, that's right.
John Chisholm, but I'll tell you who he really went after, Scott Walker.
The donors to Scott Walker, he chooses.
These are left-wing district attorneys, and remember, this is the most important thing you need to know about life, about social life, about society.
Everything the left touches, it destroys.
There is no exception to that rule.
None.
Everything the left touches, it destroys.
The district attorney justice is one of them.
They destroy justice.

And also, the bill would create more than 150 new government programs at a time when the government can't even manage the programs it has on the books.
It's absolutely insane.
I'm imploring my colleagues in swing districts, so-called blue dog Democrats, moderate Democrats, if for no other reason than I'm appealing to their own political survival instincts, walk away from this bill before it's too late.
This is an incredible act of hubris on the part of the Democrats right now.
And it is bad for America.
And because we haven't had a meaningful committee process, Basic questions in a public setting and demand answers from, let's say, the executive branch agencies that would be in charge of overseeing these brand new programs.
That was my next question.

right, it's not Waukesha, it's Waukesha.
My apologies to the residents of that county.
I have another correction.
I love being corrected.
I am not joking.
I love being corrected.
Because then I say the right thing.
Why wouldn't you love being corrected in life?
It is amazing that people don't, you don't get offended.
I find that so interesting.
Why, you want to continue doing the wrong thing or saying the wrong thing?
Yesterday I quoted...
The biblical verse, woe unto those who call good evil and evil good.
I said it was Hosea, and I think it's Isaiah.
I thought it was Hosea, but somebody called in and said it was Isaiah, and I usually take people's word for it.
I didn't look it up.
I should.
You want to take a look?
Woe unto those who call good evil and evil good.
We'll find out where it is.
I'll tell you this, that defines the left perfectly, the left.
I read to you yesterday, what's Bauer's first name, Bruce?
Yeah.
Bruce Bauer's piece.
It's Isaiah.
Okay, there you go.
See, it's funny.
Do you know, after all these years of broadcasting, I still think callers overwhelmingly say what is true.
We may differ.
Unless it's a leftist, I just assume a caller correcting me is right.
The reason I don't assume it with a leftist is because truth is not a left-wing value.
It's a liberal value.
It's a conservative value, but it's not a left-wing value.
I'd like to remind you, by the way, about a sponsor on this show that can save you $800 per family a month.

$30 a month.
Pound 250 and say Dennis Prager.
That's a big deal.
And I never endorse what I haven't tried.
Or at least I might say I didn't try it.
So, by the way, remember yesterday there were people saying, oh, this wasn't deliberate, the murder of people in Waukesha County.
He was fleeing the police.
The police completely denied it.
If this guy did not want to murder random people, ideally whites, then my read of everything I know about this man is flawed.
Okay?
But oh no, it's not an act of terror.
Really?
What constitutes an act of terror if this doesn't?
All right.

And migrants who enter the U.S. legally certainly don't get this kind of payout.

Are you at all thinking about some relief on any of your mandates?
Listen, there's mandate fatigue everywhere, including with yours truly, so let there be no doubt about that.
At the moment, no.
This guy is a scumbag.
He is awful.
Contrast that with Governor DeSantis, America's greatest governor.
Most courageous and just just announced his reelection campaign to become governor of Florida.
Again, a well-deserved campaign of a man who has been overly courageous with now the lowest COVID rates in the country.
Can you get if it's COVID rate, death rates or virus rates?
It's whatever it is.
It's the lowest in the country pursuing alternative treatments like monoclonal antibodies.
One of the first major state to reopen.
Phenomenal economic figures, no mask mandates for children, and in the school districts that are doing that, DeSantis is clamping down.
He banned critical race theory, and DeSantis has done this in a logical and reasonable way.
And I'm inspired by his leadership versus the weak Vichy French Republicans across the country that continually pander to Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Johnson& Johnson.
Ron DeSantis has been terrific.
But Ron DeSantis understands the promise of the Constitution, unlike Murphy and most Republicans in the country.
Where Ron DeSantis says, a year and a half ago we started with 15 days to slow the spread.
Now it's get jabbed or lose your job.
You see, what Ron DeSantis recognizes is that the sovereign is the people, not him.
It's not we the Ron DeSantis or we the governor of Florida.
No, it's the people's rights that come first.
I've just heard so much about this and nobody seems to be taking it seriously.
This is the exact reason.
That in normal science, this is not normal science by any stretch of the imagination, we do benefit-risk analysis.
And obviously that is different for each person.
But here we're not doing that.
We're just saying everybody needs to do this.
And we're completely neglecting natural immunity.
Which is extremely important.
We've recognized it for decades and decades before now.
Now they won't even want to talk about it or acknowledge it at all.
What do you reckon is behind that?
I mean, this is a big thing.
What can be behind something like that?
Well, I can't think of any scientific valid reason for doing it.
You know, there could be political reasons or other things going on, but I can't think of any scientific reason.
Why you would ignore the evidence and the facts and just push a one-size-fits-all ideology.
We also know that many people have objections to these vaccines because all three of them, in one way or the other, involved, aborted.
Children, there's no getting around that.
And so if somebody has an objection to that, how is it that the government can wipe away religious liberty and say, you've got to get this.
If you want to keep your job, you've got to get this.
You know, for the government to mandate away your religious liberty is a real issue.
And even the federal court has recognized that and put a stay on the mandate.

And that's why religious people are far more patriotic, frankly, about the Constitution, because they don't believe those rights were given to them by the state, but rather by something larger.
And in Europe.
I don't think that people believe that.
They used to turn to monarchies, then they turned to fascism and communism, at least in the last hundred or more years, and it doesn't seem to work.
And now they're just turning towards the European Union and bureaucrats to sort of guide them as their new priests.
What are the reasons I am always curious about why Europe went this way, but why America admires it?
How come we got this disease when it's clearly not working?
And I think the answer is in what I call the semester abroad disease.
It's like mad cow disease.
If you spend a semester abroad when you're 21, you have a wonderful time.
You eat well, you have a party for six months, and then you come home and you extrapolate from that that everything must be like being a student in Europe for six months when there's nothing at all to do with an American having fun in Europe for six months.
This all started to rise in the United States when we started to ship our college students away.
For a semester in Florence.
And then they come back and they think, wow, Europe is great!
I had thought about that, but also just tourism, right?
I mean, when we go to Europe, it's beautiful.
When people go to Hungary, they sit by the river, the Danube.
You know, sip coffee.
But in the real world, about a mile out of the city, things aren't that way.
The American home, I think, I might be wrong about this, but it's close.

Hi, everybody. everybody.
Dennis Prager here.
I have a remarkable congressman on.
I don't normally interview folks in politics.
It's not because of any aversion.
It's not the nature of my show.
I can't believe you're laughing.
I can't say that I blame you, Dennis.
But I appreciate you letting me on.
You won me over in 10 seconds, I have to say.
No, no, it's the truth, though.
I more comment on what people and what politicians are doing than actually interview them.
And some of my colleagues do a great deal.
We all have different roles.
Anyway, it is really a joy and honor to talk to you.
You're one of the heroes because you fight.
And I have a saying that...
All my listeners know, but I doubt you do.
And my saying is, good people are divided into three groups.
Those who fight, those who help the fighters, and those who do nothing.
And I always note, the third group is always the largest.
Yeah, well, you're on the front lines, and we appreciate it.
I remember years ago hearing you give a presentation.
I don't even remember where, but you were talking about the sanctity of life, and who do you say?
It's your pet versus a complete stranger, and you're just laying out the morality and the perspective on human life in God's image.
You protect life, and it was such a powerful way to do it.
It must have been some pro-life event or something.
I can't remember where I saw it.
Several years ago, I thought, this is a guy who understands things, and the way you presented it was compelling.
So I appreciate the fight you've had for the right values and for freedom for so many years now.
I'm very touched that you remember that.
I have used that example to explain to young people that you can't be guided by your heart.
You need a value system.
Because if you're guided by your heart, you let the stranger drown, and you save your squirrel.
Yep.
Yep.
No, it was very good.
Very powerful.
Well, thank you.
All right.
So today, I'm really honored that you're on the show the day of the publication.
Today, your book, and I mean it, it's published today, literally, Do What You Said You Would Do, Fighting for Freedom in the Swamp.
So how long have you been in Congress?
Oh, 14 plus years now.
I was elected in 2006 in a down year for Republicans, frankly.
It was only about 13 or 14 in a class on the Republican side.
So I've been in Congress a while.
And so we talk about it.
I write about that in the book, some of the key investigations I've been a part of over the years.
But, yeah, 14-plus years.
Would you have been able to write this book after, let's say, two years?
No, no, not even close.
The nature of my committee assignments, I'm on the Oversight Committee, and now I have the privilege of being the top Republican, the ranking member on the Judiciary Committee.
So those committees, one of the things I write a lot about is the big investigations we've been involved with, where government came after Americans, the IRS investigation, where they went after people who think like you and I do, and targeted them on the lookout list that the IRS had.
And then I talk about my time on the Benghazi Select Committee.
In that investigation, what happened there, and then, of course, more recently, the impeachment of President Trump, the first round of impeachment that was just so ridiculous what they did and the lack of due process and everything else.
So I write a lot about those and take the reader behind the scenes into those key investigations, which didn't happen after a couple years.
Well, for that alone, I mean, just all of the investigations, every major one you've been a part of.
For that alone, I want to just tell my listeners it's worth getting this book.
The book is up, by the way, folks, at my website, DennisPrager.com.
Jim Jordan, well known to all of you.
And it's Do What You Said You Would Do.
Why did you title it that, Do What You Would Say You Would Do?
Well, I always say I think we make this job too complicated.
You know, in the history of our great country, the greatest nation ever, only about 12,000 people.
I've had the opportunity to serve in the United States Congress.
I've been given the privilege to represent folks back home in the Congress.
And so I always say, like, if you put your name on the ballot, and if the folks back home elect you to go serve, do what you told them you were going to do, because after all, that's why they elected you.
And don't make it more complicated than it is.
Now, what happens all too often is people get to Washington.
And there's all kinds of people telling you a million different reasons why you can't do what you said you were going to do and what you were elected to do.
And that's the biggest problem in that town, particularly for Republicans, I think, over time.
And so we used that tile.
It was actually a constituent of mine.
I went in to raise some money from him when I was running for office, and he had that on the front of his desk, and he gave me one of it, and it was just the first letter to those words, do what you said you would do.
And that's where we got the title.
And I talk a lot about, in the book, Dennis, about President Trump, who did more what he said he was going to do than any president, certainly in my lifetime.
And I talk about the relationship that developed over time that he and I have and what a good man he is.
And I wish, I've said this probably every speech I've given, I wish every single American could spend time with President Trump, because if you...
And I'm sure you have, but if you do, you cannot help but like him, and you see how genuinely he wants to help the country and fight for the things he told the American people he was going to fight for when they put him in the job.
Donald Trump has been as smeared by the media, but obviously in greater proportion as Kyle Rittenhouse has been.
Yep.
That's all they do, is smear.
Joe Biden includes a video of Kyle Rittenhouse in a tweet last year about white supremacists, and the press says nothing, nothing about it.
I know.
Yep.
You're so right.
In fact, the mainstream press, everything they talk about now, everything they do, it's false, it's a lie.
It's just bad.
It's about dividing.
But I tell my colleagues, I mean, I've said to a bunch of my colleagues, particularly guys in the Freedom Caucus, I say, guys, if the mainstream press isn't saying something bad about you, you ain't doing anything any good.
Oh, are you a kindred spirit?
Oh, my God.
That is so true.
I know what they do to you.
I know what they do to you.
In fact, I had this conversation with the president one time.
I said, Mr. President, I know what the press does to me.
How they lie about me and MSNBC and CNN and all this stuff.
I said, but you get it a thousand times worse.
And you get it every second of every day.
That's right.
And it was funny because in this conversation a few years ago, back during the Mueller investigation and all this stuff, and there was a little break and a little pause, and the president goes, well, Jim, what are you going to do?
Go over in the corner, get in a fetal position, start sucking your thumb?
He goes, we've got to fight back.
I agree, Mr. President.
And that's why people appreciate you, because they try to smear you out, and you just fight back with the truth.
And I just gave a speech to a group here in our district just a few minutes ago, and I said, think about it.
The left controls everything.
The left controls big tech.
The left controls big media.
The left controls big corporations.
The left controls big sports.
They control the White House, the Senate, the Congress, the bureaucracy, Hollywood, higher education.
But they don't control we the people.
And we the people, which is the first three words that start this amazing place we call America, we're allowed to push back.
And when we do, the truth gets out.
We saw it in Virginia.
The truth got out there.
Glenn Youngkin's going to be the next governor of Virginia.
So this is how we have to fight back.
Just not be afraid, communicate the truth, even when they're going to lie about us and attack.
And you do that.
You're a great example of how that's supposed to work.
Well, coming from you, it's a big deal, because that's exactly what you do.
Tell me, do you agree, and did you know this before you went to Congress, that there is a swamp in Washington, a deep state?
Not even close.
I mean, you knew there was, you know, this tendency, because I was in the State House and State Senate in Ohio, but you never thought it could be near as bad as we saw.
And I certainly didn't think.
That our institutions, like the Justice Department, like the IRS, would weaponize government to go after people they disagreed with politically.
And it's probably what frightens me the most is what, well, let's just use the example today, what the Merrick Garland Justice Department is doing to parents.
We had a whistleblower come forward last week and gave us the email that was sent out on October 20th to FBI agents around the country, special agents in charge, and all across the country.
And it talked about putting a threat tag, this distinction, this label on designating parents as basically a terrorist threat for simply speaking out against this racist Hate America curriculum that's being taught.
And the very next day, excuse me, the very next day, Merrick Garland, on October 21st, tells us, oh, no, no, we're not treating parents as domestic terrorists.
I'm like, you've got to read the email that went out the day before, Mr. Attorney General.
So he needs to come back and testify to us.
So this is the thing that scared me the most that I had no idea was happening.
But yet, over the last several years, we've seen where the IRS did it, where the Obama Justice Department went after President Trump and his campaign, and now we're seeing the Biden Justice Department go after moms and dads.
This is the most frightening thing I see happening.
All right, everybody.
The book is Do What You Said You Would Do, Fighting for Freedom in the Swamp, Congressman Jim Jordan.
I strongly, strongly urge you to get the book.
I know you have one segment.
I thank you for your time, and I'd love to do it again.
We will.
Thanks Dennis.
Keep up the great work.

And I thought to myself, when did socialism go from big government to social spending infrastructure?
Social spending infrastructure doesn't mean anything.

It doesn't have any meaning.
It's a cover term.
For a vast hose of money on everything.

Learning to read can change the trajectory of a child's life, but the older children get, the more difficult it becomes for them to learn basic literacy skills.
Having seen it firsthand, I knew that the learning loss caused by school closures would be devastating.
Even kids in general education who fall behind are rarely able to catch up.
She has all of these backed by studies.
Anyway, you know my view of studies.
They either confirm what common sense suggests or they're phony.
By the time students reach sixth grade, children in the poorest school districts are already four grade levels below children in the richest districts.
Third grade students who are not proficient in reading are four times less likely to graduate from high school.
Third grade.
By third grade we know.
And according to the National Center for Educational Statistics, as many as 21% of U.S. adults are illiterate or functionally illiterate.
Because the academic and social progress of my students was at stake, I followed the COVID-19 data closely from the beginning.
And I found that school closures were irrational and counterproductive, as I said from the beginning.
According to the most comprehensive studies to date, I wish I had said this rather than well below flu in the video that I just recorded, Alan.
COVID's survival rate among children and adolescents is around 99.995%.
I wish I had put it that way.
The child mortality figures for COVID are similar to the respiratory synchitial virus, about 500 annual pediatric deaths for which schools have never been closed.
One Swedish analysis looked at COVID data from March to June 2020 when Swedish schools were open without masking.
At the height of the lockdown, Swedish schools were open, as I told you then and repeatedly.
The analysis found that not a single child died with COVID during that time period.
A study from the American Academy of Pediatrics found that in California hospitals, COVID cases for children between May 2020 and February 2021 had been overcounted by 45%.
For the record, I've never said this, I don't believe the data on the number of Americans who died of COVID. Because they lie about everything.
That's the only reason.
I don't have evidence that it's not true.
I just know that everything the CDC has said about COVID, almost everything, because I assumed something was true, has been a lie.
We are bathing in lies because it's corrupt.
The CDC is corrupt.
The New England Journal of Medicine is corrupt.
Lancet is corrupt.
The American Medical Association is corrupt.
I never said this before the last year and a half.
I never thought it.
Neither did she.
That's the interesting thing as we will come to.
Several other studies found that children are far less likely.
the article is now up at DennisPrager.com.
Then adults to spread the virus, that the effectiveness of closures for containing spread was at best highly unclear, and that closing schools had no effect on community transmission, nor were closed schools linked to lower COVID mortality.
In other words, it was pointless.
All it did is hurt children.
That's all the teachers did to children was hurt them.
It's all the teachers' unions did.
It's all the Democrats did.
Hurt children.
Okay?
Just know that.
Parents who went along with it hurt their own children.
When it became clear that California public schools would stay closed despite the paucity of evidence that closures were effective and the far greater amount of evidence that schools could safely reopen, I tried to volunteer to teach kids with severe disabilities in person.
You've got to hear the next one.
Okay?
This is an idealistic teacher.
Went into the profession to help kids.
Not teachers' unions.
So she said, I volunteered to teach kids with severe disabilities in person, but my district and teachers' union would not allow it.
Is that evil?
Tell me what's not evil about it.
I emailed other teachers I knew from my union.
And cited statements from organizations like the American Academy of Pediatrics that were urging schools to open.
But I struggled to find other teachers who agreed with me.
Do you think my attack on teachers is unwarranted?
Here's a teacher.
Other teachers didn't agree with her?
That she could be able to volunteer to teach severely disabled children during COVID?
It's too painful for some people to recognize the corruption.

I am reading
to you. .
article in the tablet came out yesterday.
Okay.
I would say she's about 25 years old.
She's a teacher in Los Angeles.
And she is documenting the war on children.
Literally, war on children waged by the Teachers Union.
And the sheep called teachers who go along with the Union.
You know, I always point out, I was raised a religious Jew.
I am a religious Jew.
And it is a Jewish religious principle that teachers are venerated like parents.
So it is very hard for me to attack teachers, but they have become so destructive.
Of course there are exceptions.
Every generalization allows for exceptions.
The teacher's profession in urban centers hurts your child.
Okay?
That's just the way it is.
And going along with no, not only going along, advocating closure.
Well, we're in danger, these cowards known as teachers, these hypochondriacs known as teachers.
You're not in danger from kids.
Okay?
She wanted to teach.
She's a teacher of disabled.
What is the term?
Special needs and underprivileged kids.
She's an idealist.
God, if you're an idealist, you're really ruined by the left.
So she said, I want to volunteer to teach them, and the teachers even said, you can't.
You can't.
I struggled to find other teachers who agreed with me.
When I mentioned to colleagues that schools were open in Europe or Florida, they looked at me as though I was somehow a threat.
Boy, was she!
Before school closures, I had nothing but respect for other teachers and for the leadership of the teachers' union.
Well, she was naive, but it's okay.
She's a terrific human.
But in my view, the treatment of children during the COVID era has been a moral stain on the profession.
That's right.
A moral stain on the teaching profession.
During over a year of online learning, an unforgivable crime was committed against public school children and families.
And as it unfolded, everyone around me said it was acceptable, necessary, and even good.
Students who were in kindergarten in March 2020 are now in their third school year of interrupted education.
A period of time that spans almost a quarter of their lives.
The experiences these students are having now influenced more than anything else by school COVID protocols.
will shape the adults they become.
National data has confirmed that remote learning was an abject failure, and for many students the equivalent of no school at all.
Districts across the county saw an enormous increase in falling grades, and first graders are now significantly behind in reading.
Nationally, it is estimated that students fell behind by 3 to 6 percentile points in reading and 8 to 12 percentile points in math, with younger students falling furthest behind.
These learning losses represent years of life stolen.
By the way, I just want to make it clear, most parents went along with the teachers in screwing their kids.
Okay?
And I don't excuse them.
Oh, they were scared of COVID. Oh, they believed CNN. Why did you watch CNN? There are truth outlets.
Why do you go to the lying outlets, parents?
Why?
Why do you believe Fauci, a lifelong fraud?
Because you didn't hear me and you didn't hear Fox and you didn't hear my colleagues and you didn't read American Greatness and you didn't watch PragerU and you didn't read...
The City Journal.
And you didn't read American Federalist.
That's why.
Because you live in a damn bubble, parents.
You are responsible for the crushing of your children.
Because you went along with the teachers unions.
I don't forgive you.
Maybe your children will.
I don't.
Why didn't you do any research?
Were kids dying of COVID? No.
Were they killing teachers?
No.
Did Sweden have schools open?
Yes.
You didn't do a damn bit of research, parents.
You believe teachers' unions.
What a condemnation of your judgment.

We're hearing that that is the goal.
I don't talk to her, but what we're hearing is that she is looking forward to becoming an ambassador.

But a lot of the people I interview now, you can watch me in the interview.
Alex Gutentag, I'd say she's in her mid-twenties.
She's a teacher in L.A., and she's blowing the whistle.
On the evil done to children in public schools in this country, and especially L.A., but New York as well.
The damage done with the collaboration of parents.
This all could have been circumvented, of course, had you taken your kid out of public school, or the private schools that shut, put them in a school that didn't shut down.
Some religious schools, for example.
Ideally, homeschool your child.
You damaged your child.
You colluded in the damage of your child.
I know you don't want to damage your child.
I'm well aware of that.
That's not my point.
My point is what you did, not what you wanted to do.
Keeping your child out of school, and let alone the parents who prevented their children from playing with other children?
As I said the whole time, that was child abuse.
Had parents listened to this show instead of CNN, they would have saved their children.
The calamity of no school.
But they've been brainwashed into not listening to right-wing talk radio.
Why not?
Because you shouldn't listen to right-wing talk radio.
And the reason?
Because you shouldn't listen to right-wing talk radio.
Yeah, but that's not a reason.
They don't have a reason, except they do.
The reason is, they're effective.
They tell the truth, and we on the left lie.
Before closures, I had nothing but respect for other teachers and for the leadership of the teachers' union.
But in my view, the treatment of children during the COVID era has been a moral stain on the profession.
I just want to repeat that line.
I read it earlier.
These learning losses represent years of life stolen.
In addition to academic damage, childhood obesity, which has profound long-term consequences, also increased severely when students were confined to their homes.
According to CDC data, adolescent mental health visits to the ER increased by 31% in the U.S. Thank you, panic-struck Democrats.
Thank you, the damage you've done to kids.
You all should have moved to Florida.
According to CDC data, I read that to you, and suicidal thoughts and attempts by teenage girls rose by over 50% compared to 2019. Wow.
But you let yourself be frightened by CNN and the New York Times and the LA Times and MSNBC and NBC and ABC and CBS and NPR and PBS. Because you wouldn't listen to right-wing radio or right-wing TV or right-wing podcasts, right?
So you are responsible for your ignorance.
Because we told you the truth and they lie to you.
And they damaged your children with their lies.
But other than that, keep it up.
So I was eager, as you might imagine, to get back to school in person.
When we did return in April 2021, though, I found that the school environment had been transformed.
In class, loud air purifiers and masks.
Oh, my God.
I'm laughing at them.
These scared fools who teach your children.
Made it harder for us to hear each other.
Staff members were continuously squirting hand sanitizers onto students' palms, which is, by the way, bad for them, just for the record.
And I was given at least one new bottle every day.
After lunch, students' masks were falling off and drenched in sweat, at which point they were clearly useless.
They were clearly useless when they were dry, but that's a separate issue.
All these protocols at first seemed comical and absurd to me.
But eventually I came to feel there was something deeply insidious about training children to be hyper-aware of a disease that posed no meaningful threat to them.
Masks have become a constant reminder of potential transmission, and mask mandates have given rise to a wide array of new educational materials, such as dystopian sing-alongs and call and response routines.
That teach young children to cover their faces in order to keep their friends safe.
In some schools, students are rewarded with mask breaks and can be suspended for mask noncompliance.
Back-to-school activities that once had names like All About Me now have names like Me Behind the Mask.
Although many U.S. public health experts have dismissed concerns about the long-term effects of face coverings, those public health experts Should be jailed.
Developmental research pre-COVID consistently affirmed the importance to children of the human face.
Something I've been telling you the whole time.
There is more truth on this program than in the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, PBS, and NPR all put together.
And I'm not alone.
I'm not the only one.
Just minutes before or after birth, babies show a preference for looking at faces above anything else.
FaceTime is known to be crucial to early childhood development, and facial expressions are considered to be a kind of universal language.
And we deprive them of all of this.

And migrants who enter the U.S. legally certainly don't get this kind of payout.

This is the hour we talk about ultimate issues, third hour Tuesday, the great issues of life.
I wish people had talked about this in college.
You could call this the Wisdom Hour.
Whether you agree with me or not, it is about issues of wisdom.
We live in the age of anti-wisdom.
That's really the best summary of the time in which we live.
Did I mention my name?
I'm supposed to, on radio.
Dennis Prager.
For those of you just tuning in for the first time, hi.
So, this issue arose earlier in my program, and I said I would make this the ultimate issues hour topic.
So it arose with regard to this monster who drove his SUV into men, women, and children.
Murdering five.
He's a mass murderer.
And terribly injuring others.
I think dozens were injured.
Some very seriously.
That always gets me because I always imagine, what did he do?
Did he blind them?
Did he paralyze them?
Did he brain damage them?
All you hear is injured.
Watching it on our screen.
It's hard for me to watch these things.
I had not watched it before, but it came up on my own video feed here.
So he was a monster much of his life.
Done terrible things.
Tried to, I don't know, kill or injure his girlfriend or whatever relationship he had with this woman.
And he was coming from that.
He was a radical.
He hated, you know, he hated Trump, he hated whites.
And he murdered five at least.
So, the question arises, or the question arose earlier, I don't remember.
Exactly how, but it did.
About, maybe I raised it.
Are we supposed to love this guy?
So, I have talked about this on a number of occasions because I think we have screwed around with the word love so much it is now meaningless.
It's truly meaningless.
See, if you say, so here's my thesis, okay?
I'll put it to you and then you can react and that's what the hour will be.
You're reacting to my thesis.
If you love this guy, then you love independent of morality.
And therefore you have rendered love the only thing in life that is amoral.
Think about it.
Love is, if you love him, if you love every person who has done evil, You have rendered love amoral.
It has no moral context.
It's the only thing in life that you would hold is not attached to morality.
It's bizarre.
And if you love him, so here's a question.
Do you love...
A lot of you...
I will say this at the risk of whatever risk I am entailing.
A lot of you love me.
So do you love me as much as you love him?
If you love me more than you love him, then what is that?
Doesn't that mean that your love is in fact contingent upon the moral behavior of the love object?
It only makes sense to say, I love Dennis, or whoever you appreciate in life.
I didn't take a relative because you could, that's easy, and you could say, well, you know, you're just appealing to emotions then.
Okay.
But nevertheless, is it right to love your child more than a murderer?
If you don't, you'll say, well, is it right to love your child more than somebody else's child who's not a murderer?
Okay, that'd be a fair response.
But it's certainly an interesting thing.
Once you say that you love someone less because of what they did, then you are on my side.
Love is then contingent upon moral behavior.
You would have to say, I love Dennis, and I love the guy who mowed down these people equally.
Because if you love me more, then you don't love him.
It's playing with words.
I don't know why people got this.
People, you know, love the sinner, hate the sin, is not in the Bible.
So, just for the record.
It's not there.
I hate this guy.
Okay, I do.
Am I a sinner for that?
What am I supposed to say?
I really love him, but I would like to see him executed.
But I just want you to know that as I injected you with the drug to put you to death, I want you to know I love you.
Okay, people say that, but then here's my question to that.
If the person who loves you and the person who hates you treat you identically, it doesn't mean anything.
I love you and kill you, and the other guy hates you and kills you.
What's the difference?
What is the difference?
That's why I find it odd.
Oh, of course, we love him, but he should be punished.
Okay, so...
Behaviorally, you have the same position as I do.
I want him punished the same way you want him punished.
You want him punished the same way I want him punished.
But you claim to love him, and I don't.
I confine my love to people who are worthy of it.
I think people should earn love.
I love the word earn.
I do.
We need more earning in America and in the world.
Why should you get love for free?
I'm not talking about God, okay?
I'm talking about humans.
So don't tell me God loves everybody equally.
I don't believe that for a second, but I don't want to discuss it.
I'm talking about us human beings.
What should we do?
By the way, if God loves everybody equally, I have a flawed understanding of God.
But since I have no idea why people think that, I will put that aside for now.
I think we have distorted the term love.
What have you done to your insides if you really try to convince yourself, I love this man.
Who mowed down these people in Wisconsin.
Does that have an effect on you?
Is it a positive effect?
By the way, if you do love him, and you say to me, I love you, Dennis, and I get a lot of love and I get a lot of hate, which is the way it works in life, when you...
You're a public figure and you're outspoken.
But if you love me and you love him, then your love for me is not special.
Why do I care if you love me?
If you love the guy who murdered five people and maybe more, then your love for me is just because you are sort of like an air conditioner.
You're a love conditioner.
What do air conditioners do?
Air conditioners pump out cold air no matter who's in the room, correct?
If Al Capone is in the room or if Mother Teresa is in the room, the air conditioner is continually pumping cold air.
So you are a love conditioner.
You're pumping out love no matter who's in the room, no matter who's in your life.
So if you love me as much as you love the guy who murdered these people in Wisconsin, then I don't consider your love for me meaningful.
How could I? Okay.
What do you say to all of that, my friends?

You know, obviously they sat around the White House, they said, let's try this.
Let's say that this massive spending won't cost anything.
You know, it'll be a little bit like...

Then we are going to bring in innovative charter schools.
Most people don't know that charter schools are public schools, and so they fight against it.
They worship the building instead of the child, and we're not going to just keep throwing money at that.
In fact, I put in a charter school bill 20 years ago when I was first in office, but we were stopped.
Now, you know, let's pause there for a moment, Lieutenant Governor-elect Sears.
The appointments of the Secretary of Education and the Superintendent of Education are, I think, the two most important that Governor Youngkin, when he becomes Governor Youngkin, makes.
Have you counseled with him on who those individuals ought to be and what their orientation ought to be towards charter schools?
Well, Governor-elect Youngkin, oh boy, do I love saying that.
Governor-elect Youngkin has promised us he's going to fire.
The current superintendent, day one, fire this current superintendent.
Now, I believe he's going to have at least two appointments almost immediately on the board because, you know, they roll off.
Yes.
But the board has been stacked now for the past, but we can't really get rid of the policies that we have unless we get rid of some of the laws that we have, you see, because what they're doing is implementing the laws, which is why we needed the House.
Because we've got to bring back some of that and get rid of it, for example, CRT. And, you know, unfortunately, this left-wing media has been gaslighting us to let us know that, well, there is no such thing as CRT. When we have seen with our own eyes that back in 2015, the Virginia State Board of Education put it on their website and put books recommending the reading of such and the teaching of such.

Kids who have a parent in prison get a gift from the parent through Angel Tree.
It's a beautiful thing, and I am delighted to help support it.

You can touch their lives and maybe even bring about reconciliation with a parent by going to the Angel Tree banner at my website and giving at dennisprager.com or just call 888-206-2801, 888-206-2801.
Angel Tree Campaign for kids who have a parent in prison.
This is the ultimate issues hour.
It came up in talking about the monster who mowed down the kids, not kids, excuse me, the people and kids in Wisconsin yesterday.
Was it yesterday or the day before yesterday?
And I don't love him.
And the notion that you love everybody, which I presume means equally, because it doesn't make any sense, I love this person a great deal, and I love this person a little deal, is just basically agreeing with me.
That your love is contingent upon behavior.
So, if you love me, let's say, and you love the guy who mowed down the people, what does it mean that you love me?
It doesn't mean anything.
You just love because you're a love automaton.
I know you're kind.
The people who believe this are sweet and wonderful people.
I'm not attacking the people who believe this.
I'm attacking the belief.
It makes no sense to remove love from moral behavior.
You're a mass murderer, and by golly, I love you.
Okay, let's go to Jacob Carbondale, Pennsylvania.
I know Carbondale, Illinois, but not Pennsylvania.
Hi there.
Hello, Dr. Frederick.
It's a pleasure to speak to you.
Thank you for the doctorate.
I agree with you, Warren.
Almost everything.
Right.
So it's weird to disagree with you.
I think my concept of God and love is a little bit different.
I'm a conservative.
I'm a Christian.
And I see love as an attitude of wanting the best for someone, regardless of their actions and who they are.
That doesn't mean, obviously, that you agree with them and you don't withhold favor.
Then why use the word love?
I want the best for this man.
Okay.
But forgive me.
What does it even mean, I want the best?
So let's take the murderer in Wisconsin.
What does it mean to want the best for him?
Right.
You want him to be redeemed to love the good.
Just like we would say David, King David, who we know had adultery and he murdered.
You know, the goal was for him to be redeemed back into the good graces of God by being forgiven for what he did.
Alright, so why use the word love?
Say, I want the best for him and that he be redeemed.
That's fine with me.
But why do you screw around with the word love?
Let me ask you something.
Name a non-relative you love.
My past.
Your what?
My pastor?
Okay, great.
At my church?
That's great.
Okay, so do you love your pastor more than the guy who mowed down the people?
Well, I have means to love him better because I'm in a vicinity with them.
No, no, no.
That's not...
No, I know what you mean.
Do I have...
Feeling, like, greater feelings of, like, he's a better person?
Well, obviously, yes.
No, no, no.
Do you love him?
It's not a trick question.
Do you love him more than the murderer?
Yes.
So where do we differ?
Where do you and I differ?
Well, I think where we differ is if we believe the Scripture and you believe the Old Testament, then the Bible teaches to love your enemies.
Okay?
The enemies, obviously, in the Jewish context, would be those who are opposed to your God, okay?
But God still called them to love them and to bring them into salvation, like in Jonah, to preach to Nineveh, that wicked city, that these people didn't know their right hand from their left hand because they were so blinded by evil and wickedness.
Listen, I have no problem in asking bad people to repent.
And it's interesting, Jonah fled that task, interestingly, but he ended up having to go.
And I have no problem with that.
And by the way, Nineveh was not his enemy, so it's not exactly corresponding to your point.
By the way, just for the record, and everyone knows I am not a Christian, but I am pro-Christian, very pro-Christian, as you know.
That in a macro level, I think he meant it in a micro level, that the people in your life that have affronted you, you must make an effort to love them, which I happen to agree with.
But I don't think that Jesus would have said, maybe I'm wrong, I don't think Jesus would have said, if he were with his fellow Jews in Auschwitz, we have to love the Nazi guards.
He might have, but I... He would have.
Right.
Well, you don't know that, and I don't know that he wouldn't.
But you don't know that he would, because if enemies...
No, I do.
Okay, all right.
No, I'm not trying to be...
All right, so fine.
Okay, let's say he did.
That's a fundamental agreement of, like, a Christian doctrine that God loves all people.
Right, which I don't...
He doesn't have his favor.
And loves them all...
Right, right.
That's why the concept of...
All right, but do we have to do that?
But you don't.
You love your pastor more than you love almost anybody else other than family.
Well, I love him.
Yeah, exactly.
So are you violating the biblical edict by loving him more?
No.
No, because the biblical edict is you love God above all.
That doesn't mean you don't love your wife.
It's just different levels of...
Oh, I don't know.
Okay, so would you say that the murderer in Wisconsin is on a much lower level?
See, at what point can you admit you don't love him?
I don't believe you love him.
Well, I would say at the judgment seat, yeah.
Sorry?
Maybe at the judgment seat, when all wicked people will be judged, and away from his presence.
But until then, I think you have to hold out hope.
Hold out hope, okay.
Listen, you're a terrific guy, and you know I mean that.
You're exactly what I was describing.
People who I have difference on this, but I know are kind and wonderful and good.
good.
We do differ though.

How do I cross a bridge in a snowstorm?
What happened?
No, think about it.
You know, you're in a situation.
What happens if the bridge collapses and there's a fire on the other side?
It's going to take 10 miles longer to get to the fire.
People could die.
I mean, this is real.
This is real stuff.
Now, I recently suggested hashtag snow, storm, fire, bridge, collapse.
Here I was.
I had worked all day on the president's remarks.
I found this bit of gold alerting the country to the impending massive cycle of snowstorms, fires, and bridge collapses, and trucks that can't get anywhere.
And I thought to myself, if I let the country know first, I'll get the credit for this.
If you're driving today...
Would you let me know where the snowstorm fire bridge collapse is?
1-800-520123.
If you're going across the bridge, we want to hear for you to see if that bridge has indeed caught fire in a snowstorm.
If you're on any bridge anywhere, or collapsed, and you see a house anywhere burning, stop and help.
We have many stories of heroes who have done the same thing.
There was one in New York yesterday.
A guy was running past a house that nobody knew was on fire, and he saved all the pets.
He's a hero.
So you be a hero today when, we'll call it...
A Biden event.
Whenever we have a Biden event, you need to stop.
I don't know how you get across the river.
How are we going to get across the river, Generalissimo, if the bridge is down?
I have no idea.
When was the last bridge collapse?
I asked you last night, the research bridge collapses.
Bridge collapses aren't funny, but I think that was the last one.

You could say it either way.
So, this issue arose earlier in the show, and I was talking about the monster who mowed down human beings with his SUV in Wisconsin.
So I'd like to ask those of you who differ with me, the issue is, do you love him?
So, what does it take?
I want to put it in a way, I never ask, will I offend listeners?
Because if I did, I wouldn't tell you what I think all the time.
And let the chips fall where they may.
On this issue, unlike any other, I differ with people I really, really do admire and adore.
So I do want to pick my words carefully, or choose my words carefully.
I have to admit that I don't like unreal.
If there's anything I know about me, and I know a lot about me, I love being real.
It is not real to say, I love this man.
There is something not real about that.
That's, I think, a big part of what bothers me.
You can watch this man mow these human beings down.
Like they were blades of grass and then say, I love him?
I don't get that.
I don't think you're being real.
I know you don't love him.
There's no doubt in my mind that every good person doesn't love him.
Okay?
And if you love him, do you love him like you love, as I said, I don't know.
If you love me, I'm just taking me because I'm a non-relative.
I don't care what non-relative you use.
The other man chose his pastor.
He said, well, I don't love him as much.
So if you love the murderer a lot less, you still want to say, I love him?
At least then say, you know what?
I love him a lot less than anybody else.
But then we're playing with words, I think.
Okay, let's see.
Let's go to more of your calls here.
And Mark in Canyon City, Colorado.
Hello.
Hello, Dennis.
How are you today?
I'm well, thank you.
Feisty.
I'm just feisty and ferocious.
Okay, well, knowing that, I'll tread lightly.
The reason I think this man in any sense can be loved is that We, as believers in God, know that others who have been created are touched in some regard by dignity.
And even if they can't identify it themselves, it behooves us to try to identify it in them.
That said, I will say that I have had in my life a number of people that I found very difficult to love.
People who are not easy to love.
And it became for me an act of the will.
I will love this person, and I will be kind or whatever in an effort to perhaps have that person reciprocate.
Sometimes it happens.
Sometimes it doesn't.
But I've noticed the residual impact of that particular act of the will is that it makes it easier...
For those that I do authentically love, to love them more and to overlook their faults and to find forgiveness.
Okay, it's interesting.
I have the opposite view.
That doesn't mean you're wrong.
And I would, you know, I have no problem in saying I think someone is wrong.
But in this case, I will tell you I have the opposite view.
I think that loving good people more than evil people...
Actually enhances my ability to love because I love them even more knowing how special they are.
So we have the literally opposite reactions to what cultivates your ability to love more.
Loving evil people, in my opinion, does not make you a better lover.
I don't mean sexual lover.
Right.
I've always found a little bit more difficult math than the math I studied today.
No, it's a fine analogy.
I understand it's a fine analogy, but math has no moral quality to it.
So that's why I think the analogy breaks down.
I don't think, you see, the difference is there is a mathematical ideal.
I'd be able to understand calculus, or I'd be able to understand advanced algebra, or so on.
But I don't hold it as a goal.
To love the man who mowed down these people.
I think it's problematic morally.

Hi, everybody.
Dennis Prager, Ultimate Issues Hour.
Third hour is on Tuesday.
Third hour on Tuesdays.
It arose the subject for today's Ultimate Issues Hour earlier in the show about the monster who mowed down human beings with his SUV. In a better world, the man would have been executed already.
That would have been...
I mean, you know.
We have video.
There is no defense.
It's...
Anyway, that's my understanding.
Of course you should have a trial for the sake of justice, but there is no defense, so there's nothing that would prolong the trial.
Anyway.
But the issue is love.
I don't love the man.
And if you were my friend, and you said to me, seeing the video of him mowing down human beings like ants, and said, you know, Dennis, gotta tell you, I love this man.
I wouldn't be impressed.
Alright?
I know it comes from what you would consider a noble place, or a theological place, but it would not impress me.
But your reaction to that video would be, I love him.
And yet, everybody calling disagrees with me.
They think we should.
Alright, let's see.
Okay.
All right.
Hmm, interesting.
Daniel in Anaheim, California.
Hello.
Hi, Dennis.
So I'm one of the few Christians that actually does agree with you, and I think this is the unconditional love approach that most Christians take.
It's a modern idea, and it's a curse on the modern church, too.
You know, the guy in the Old Testament who...
You know, the imprecatory Psalms, you know, where we pray curses upon, you know, O God, break the teeth in their mouths, and may his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
The God of the Old Testament is the same God of the New Testament.
You know, we just think, you know, he's, you know, through the person of Jesus Christ.
But we are not, we are to pray for their salvation.
Like, I would say, I pray for that man, for him to come to know Christ.
If not, then God bring your justice and your vengeance upon him.
We aren't supposed to be praying for just vengeance, not just for Him to...
We can't love somebody in the kingdom of God.
You know, if they don't...
And in fact, I think a lot of times, like the holding off of death penalties and stuff, it's actually kind of even more recursive to a person.
You know, we should be hoping that that person is given immediate justice and an opportunity to repent, and if they don't, then they should be dispatched and put away.
And I don't know, and I've had arguments even with the members within my own congregation, like, no, no, no, we have to love.
It's unconditional.
We can't.
We're never supposed to curse or hate or have hatred in our heart, but we are to, in a sense, not to hold it like personal indebted against a person.
We're supposed to let that go to God, but we're not supposed to just love that person.
You know, we trust in God.
All right.
Well, you're right.
Certainly a lonely voice among my callers, but I did want to take at least one that agreed with me.
And as you all know, it is perfectly fine that you don't agree with me.
But do you at least understand that if I were with you and you saw the video and said, you know, Dennis, I love that man, that I would think that...
I would think a lot of things.
You do?
Because I don't know what that means even.
You want him executed.
I want him executed.
So in terms of behavior, we have absolutely no difference.
And since I believe love is primarily behavior, then it's a very...
By the way, so does God.
In my Bible commentary, the Rational Bible, which many, many Christians read, look at the thousands of reviews on Amazon, you'll see what I mean.
And it's brought a lot of people back to religion, or to religion.
I note that God repeatedly, repeatedly says, how do you love me?
Because we're commanded to love God.
You love me by following my ways.
It is true, it says, love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your might.
That is correct.
It's a great commandment, unique in all religion, prior to that, obviously adopted by Christianity.
But there was no...
It's one of the reasons I believe the Bible, the first five books anyway, are divinely authored.
It's so different from everything that preceded it.
But in general, love of God means following...
His dictates.
You love human beings.
You treat them well.
You are just.
You are kind.
You treat animals with kindness.
Animals made it into the Ten Commandments.
There are four commandments in the Torah, the first five books, where all the commandments are about treatment of animals.
Most people don't know that.
Love is behavior.
Now, to the extent that it is also emotion, I really don't get it.
So, again, if it's behavior, you who love the guy who mowed down these people in Wisconsin, and I who don't love this guy, we want the exact same behavior shown to him.
So we don't differ at all on that.
So then, what is the love that you have that I don't have?
It must be emotional.
But I don't believe emotionally you love him.
I believe you feel you should, but I don't believe you do.
Okay.
We shall return.
It's a fascinating question.
I think good people should be loved more than bad people.
Turning now on the Charlie Kirk Show.
What is this?
Is he charged with first-degree murder?
That's right, two counts.
How is that possible?
It's an altercation.
I mean, first-degree murder is where you're like, I'm going to murder this person and go to their home with, you know, not some sort of bar fight going wrong.
Yeah, so you're right, actually.
That would be, what you're talking about would potentially be either voluntary manslaughter.
Yeah, that's what I never understood about this.
...were second-degree murder because it was more indiscriminate.
What they're saying is, what the prosecution's argument is, is that Kyle Rittenhouse brought his gun because he intended to murder these BLM protesters and that he had vengeful intent.
Now, what's interesting to me is that...
The prosecution just a few minutes ago before I came on this show just rested in this case after about a week and a half of testimony.
They did not present a single shred of evidence that Kyle Rittenhouse showed up with intent to hurt anyone.
Well, but this is what I can't understand, is that the judge, the pretrial, you know, arguments, because this is just, you have months to submit, you know, motions to dismiss.
You're trying to tell me no one looked at this.
They say, wait a second.
You're charging a guy who got in an altercation was, by the way, the guy that Kyle Rittenhouse killed in self-defense was like a child rapist or something, right?
He was like a child pedophile or something.
Is that right?
Multiple count child rapist.
Honestly, the detail- I'm not saying he deserves to die because of it, but- Right, right.
The details of that case, if anyone wants to see it, it's absolutely horrific.
This is not Gandhi, okay?
But what's interesting, though, what is actually relevant, what's actually relevant to this is that he had just been released from a hospital where he was being held on a psychiatric hold.

Emotionally, I hate him.
And intellectually, it's not the issue right now.
So I have a problem with the...
A person looking at the video and going, you know, Dennis, I love that man.
Okay, I don't think it's real, and I love real.
Okay, let's see here.
Daniel is a pastor in Missouri, in West Plains, Missouri.
Hello.
Well, I'm not a pastor.
My pastor had mentioned...
Oh, you're right.
Your pastor.
Sorry, you're quoting your pastor.
Sorry.
Go ahead.
Yes.
There are seven different levels of love.
I think it was the Greek language that Jesus used, and agape was the strongest level for him and family.
And I don't know what the other ones were, but my belief is that the lowest level is so that we look at other people, And one, we don't live in hatred so that we keep our sins in check.
If we look at other people and try to value them and their life, then that is a type of love, probably the lowest level of love, but that will keep us from seeking mob justice instead of...
Oh, I don't want mob...
Okay, I hate the guy, and I don't want mob justice.
Oh, not in the least.
It doesn't even occur to me to want that.
See, the problem arises with, and many of you are calling to say this as well, and you're right to do so.
What does love mean?
And it becomes complex.
Because if we're talking emotionally, I think people need to be free in the emotional realm, to be real.
I find it troubling if you love, emotionally love the man who did this.
I will admit, I find that troubling.
Now, if you love the fact that this is a human and humans are created in God's image, that sounds nice, but I don't quite follow that.
And if you don't have to love him as much...
And this is my biggest challenge.
If you love, forget your family, if you love someone outside of your family, and every one of you does, some of you love me.
And I believe that.
But if you love me and you love the guy who did this, then what does it say about the love of me?
I earned it.
