Dennis Prager Show - Justice Prevails! Kyle Rittenhouse Found Not Guilty. Aired: 2021-11-19 Duration: 07:38 === Chaos and Anarchy (02:56) === [00:00:02] In society, people taking it on their own to carry weapons and to protect themselves, others, and property. [00:00:16] As a general statement, I wish we didn't. [00:00:23] The police did nothing in almost every city. [00:00:28] Where we have had, I don't know, hundreds of millions of dollars of damage done by rioters in 2020. It's not an attack on the police. [00:00:41] It's either true or not true. [00:00:43] That police generally did nothing. [00:00:48] That's why there was so much chaos and damage and destruction. [00:00:55] What happens when you have anarchy is there are people who will take order into their own hands. [00:01:04] That is as inevitable as the sun rising tomorrow that people will not accept or some people will not accept anarchy. [00:01:18] Anarchy is the left's great friend because they love everything they do is chaos. [00:01:25] There are no men and women. [00:01:27] It's a spectrum. [00:01:28] That's chaos. [00:01:30] Everything they do leads to chaos. [00:01:36] Had the police confronted rioters, and I'm being very precise, not protesters, rioters in the various cities in the country? [00:01:47] People can't set up in front, what was it, Portland? [00:01:51] People can't set up their own little city and then Seattle and get away with it? [00:02:01] And be armed to make sure that nobody disrupts their little utopian or really dystopian town? [00:02:12] What do you expect people to do? [00:02:16] How many businesses were destroyed by rioters? [00:02:19] In the original Kenosha riots. [00:02:21] I don't know the answer. [00:02:22] I'm just asking. [00:02:26] So I was reading the New York Times. [00:02:28] I always like to read what the left has to say. [00:02:32] The jury appeared to accept Mr. Rittenhouse's explanation that he had acted reasonably to defend himself during demonstrations in a case that fueled debate over gun rights and vigilantism. === No Accountability For Anthony's Murder (04:24) === [00:02:47] Why don't we have a debate over riots? [00:02:52] I think that would be a good thing to have a debate about. [00:02:59] Let's see what CNN has to say. [00:03:01] I get a big kick out of this. [00:03:05] Rittenhouse not guilty. [00:03:06] Let's see. [00:03:07] where would they have a summary? [00:03:08] Yeah, look at that. [00:03:15] Here's their... [00:03:17] I'd like to read to you how the CNN lead article reads. [00:03:20] I'm just doing this live. [00:03:22] I couldn't read this and the New York Times during the break. [00:03:27] Kyle Rittenhouse found not guilty on all charges. [00:03:31] And what's under it? [00:03:33] Two minutes ago, it says. [00:03:34] Family of Anthony Huber, one of those killed. [00:03:37] There is no accountability for the person who murdered our son. [00:03:42] The family of Anthony Huber, one of the men who was fatally shot by Kyle Rittenhouse during unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin last summer, said in a statement that, quote, there is no accountability for the person who murdered our son. [00:03:57] Right. [00:03:58] So then they have their statement. [00:04:03] I actually, I would be interested in reading their statement. [00:04:10] Today's verdict means there is no accountability for the person who murdered our son. [00:04:15] It sends the unacceptable message that armed civilians can show up in any town, incite violence, and then use the danger they have created to justify shooting people in the street. [00:04:29] So the people who came to stop violence are the people who incited violence. [00:04:39] Are they proud of their son? [00:04:40] I guess they are. [00:04:41] There it is. [00:04:42] Look at that. [00:04:43] I asked the question. [00:04:44] Look at the last paragraph of their statement. [00:04:48] And we are so proud of Anthony and we love him so much. [00:04:53] He is a hero who sacrificed his own life to protect other innocent civilians. [00:04:59] We ask that you remember Anthony and keep him in your prayers. [00:05:03] Look, I don't expect parents to say anything. [00:05:06] Other than this, but I did want to note that that is the featured article or featured paragraphs in the CNN report. [00:05:19] 1A Prager 776. Jacob Blake's uncle reacts. [00:05:26] This is CNN 2. I mean, it is so remarkable. [00:05:31] I mean, this is even worse than the New York Times. [00:05:36] The next one, well, the next one is how long the jury took to deliberate. [00:05:41] That's a grand total of about ten sentences. [00:05:44] Jacob Blake's uncle reacts to Rittenhouse's verdict. [00:05:47] this isn't the United States we used to live in. [00:05:55] If you actually study the Jacob Blake killing, at the very least it's morally ambiguous. [00:06:06] The idea that the police shot a man for no good reason is a lie. [00:06:11] It's not fair to truth. [00:06:14] Forget the police. [00:06:15] It's not fair to truth. [00:06:19] And that they shot him because he's black, there is no basis for that. [00:06:25] There was a child in the car. [00:06:27] They feared he would take away the child, that he would kidnap the child. [00:06:30] He was grabbing a knife. [00:06:32] What are the police supposed to do? [00:06:34] I don't know the answer. [00:06:35] It's an open question. [00:06:36] What are the police in an ideal world? [00:06:39] What should the police have done? [00:06:45] Yes. [00:06:50] I'm just happy that he doesn't have, Kyle Rittenhouse does not have convicted of manslaughter or convicted. === 776 Number for Issues (00:44) === [00:06:58] Of third-degree murder or whatever they would have, even if it would be overturned by the judge or overturned in a court in a second trial. [00:07:12] Okay, 1-8 Prager 776 is the number for a whole host of... [00:07:27] Of issues that you might want to raise. [00:07:30] This is the open line hour. [00:07:33] Stephen, Cherry Hill, New Jersey. [00:07:35] Hello. [00:07:36] Dennis, how are you? [00:07:37] Okay.
