[00:00:02] How is that? [00:00:05] Awful? [00:00:06] Yeah, I guess that might be the appropriate term. [00:00:11] Second hour of the show devoted to happiness. [00:00:14] And this is a tough time in American life. [00:00:18] Very tough time. [00:00:20] For me to acknowledge it means it is a tough time. [00:00:23] So, what are you doing about it? [00:00:26] And that's the subject. [00:00:28] Open lines. [00:00:30] Let's take your calls. [00:00:31] Very important hour. [00:00:34] Let's see. [00:00:35] Here's an interesting one. [00:00:36] Kyle in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. [00:00:39] Hello. [00:00:40] How are you doing, Dennis? [00:00:41] I can't believe I'm talking to you right now. [00:00:43] Oh, that's very sweet. [00:00:45] Thank you. [00:00:47] So, an article that came out on the 30th of September in Philadelphia Inquirer, they touched on... [00:00:54] They had touched on the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the epidemic they're facing just at the hospital and the crisis they're having there. [00:01:02] They have 585 deads, and a majority of those, only about a dozen of those, are COVID-related. [00:01:11] And the rest are either upper respiratory and mental health issues, a lot stemming from the pandemic itself. [00:01:18] And it's getting so overflowed that they're looking to expand another facility just for a psychiatric unit, just to the children's hospital. [00:01:28] And to what do they attribute the psychiatric problems? [00:01:33] To a lot of the pandemic and children missing school being separated from their friends and family. [00:01:41] Yeah, well this was my worry from the very beginning when I called the... [00:01:47] The lockdown, the greatest mistake in history. [00:01:50] It's like the immature, namely people that are called experts, they tend to be immature. [00:01:58] They never ask the most important question, what is the price paid for any given policy? [00:02:05] Like there's no price paid. [00:02:07] But that's the only question mature people should be asking. [00:02:12] and the price paid by children and adults in work, in schooling, has been horrific. [00:02:21] I'd like to see that article. [00:02:23] What was the date of it? [00:02:24] Yeah, it was September 30th. [00:02:27] And it was about how many beds are being reserved in Philadelphia? [00:02:34] Well, there's 585 beds, it says in the article. [00:02:43] And a majority of them are either upper respiratory or mental health issues, and they're opening up an extra 46-bed unit in the Philadelphia area just for psychiatric because they're not able to handle the psychiatric issues that these children are having directly at their main hospital. [00:03:04] And the upper respiratory issues that they had touched on have been because the children weren't exposed to. [00:03:14] Wow, I'm going to look that article up. [00:03:20] Kyle, I deeply appreciate your calling in. [00:03:26] My assumption when I hear experts say is that what I'm about to read is stupid. [00:03:34] That's my assumption. [00:03:35] 99% of the time, I think it turns out to be accurate. [00:03:43] The harm that has been done to humanity, not just in the United States, to humanity over this past year with the lockdowns. [00:03:55] See the guy arrested, by the way? [00:03:57] It's almost unbelievable. [00:03:59] A guy who was on a beach in, what was it, Sydney? [00:04:04] Sydney or Melbourne. [00:04:05] And he was on a beach alone. [00:04:08] Alone. [00:04:09] And the cops came and arrested him. [00:04:14] You're not allowed to sunbathe in Australia. [00:04:18] Health Uber Alice. [00:04:31] How often did I say that in the course of the last years? [00:04:35] Health uber alis. [00:04:37] Safetyism. [00:04:39] The joke is, it's not making people safe, though. [00:04:44] It's making people crazy. [00:04:49] But there is a solution if you have kids, and that's homeschooling. [00:04:54] Spend time with them. [00:04:56] Enjoy them. [00:04:57] Have them enjoy other kids. [00:05:02] Unmasked. [00:05:04] See faces. [00:05:06] Enjoy life.
