I got COVID last week, as I explained to you yesterday.
Washington Post and others very annoyed with me that I believe in natural immunity more than I believe in vaccines and that I spread disinformation.
This is the common charge.
It's disinformation, according to the Washington Post, to say that natural immunity is more robust than vaccine immunity.
Despite all the studies that I show to that effect, despite the massive study in Israel with hundreds of thousands, and despite, for that matter, common sense, that nature is weaker than a vaccine.
That is the claim that is being made.
Nevertheless, I am charged with misinformation.
I have never asked anybody, by the way, not to get vaccinated.
Not once.
In fact, yesterday I said I think that you should either get vaccinated or take therapeutics as a prophylactic.
I don't think you should do nothing.
That was not reported by one left-wing source that I said that yesterday because it would make me too human and make my position too morally complex for the simpletons at the Washington Post and the Daily Beast and other places.
So that is what one deals with.
I did indeed hug people all throughout the pandemic.
I announced it at the time, and it was my belief that you live life fully, even during a pandemic.
I did not hide from the world.
I spoke at rallies.
I posed with people for pictures, at speeches.
Nobody was coerced into posing with me.
They were either vaccinated themselves or on some therapeutic or simply decided that they would do so.
When you take issue with the scared, you are playing with fire.
That is the lesson to be learned here.
And the left is nothing if not scared.
They are scared of life.
They are scared of death.
Of everything.
They're scared of pain.
That's why they have safe spaces.
They're scared of speakers coming to a college and saying things that they don't agree with.
And those of us who are not scared and who love life, we annoy them tremendously.
The daily Daily Mail once again repeated that something I mentioned, you could see it in passing about a year, over a year ago, on a fireside chat I mentioned that I don't go through life thinking what will kill me.
And so that in passing, I mentioned that at a restaurant, if a utensil falls on the floor and the waiter jumps over, runs over to give me a new utensil, I don't need one.
I'm okay with the one that fell.
And then the Daily Mail picked that up.
I mean, to give you an idea what they search for in order to attack people like me, Prager licks forks.
Like, first of all, from the floor.
I never said I licked a fork from a floor.
I simply, I pick it up and I will wipe it off and I will use it.
I don't see the need for a new fork, but I never said I lick forks from the floor.
And yet that is once again repeated.
Daily Beast, Daily Mail.
When I guess when they don't have anything to attack you for, they find stuff that gives them meaning.
These are midgets.
It drives them crazy that we are not scared.
So the Washington Post has the headline.
Let's see, what is the Washington?
Conservative radio host said he constantly hugs strangers to catch COVID, what I hoped for the entire time.
What I hoped for was to live a full life the entire time, and that if I got natural immunity, I would in fact be relieved that I had natural immunity.
That's not why I hugged people.
I hugged people because I hug people.
If that wasn't clear yesterday, let it be clear today.
Why did people hug me?
Right?
The same question could be asked of the thousands of people who put their arms around me in the course of the last year in posing for pictures.
They understood the risk that they were taking, and they thought that it was a minimal risk, which it turns out to have been.
So while people that I know lived in their house for over a year and never left, I was hugging people.
That is correct.
That was the decision to choose life.
You have a choice in life.
To choose to live or to choose to be scared.
And I chose all year and a half, now almost two years, to live life.
I think it was the correct choice.
A lot of people found it to be an admirable choice.
But this is what they cover.
Prager listed off a cocktail of therapeutics he said had been taken over the course of the pandemic, many of which have not been approved by the FDA. Yes.
See, this is what constitutes truth for the Washington Post.
The herd-like mentality.
If the FDA approves it, then there's nothing to think about.
If it doesn't approve it, there is nothing to think about.
There's no dissent in science for the left.
None.
The FDA approves it.
That's all that matters.
The host said he has been steadily improving since his diagnosis.
Prager is one of several conservative radio talk show hosts who spread misinformation about the coronavirus and vaccines, including some who later died of the virus.
What is the misinformation that I have spread?
That the state, the Indian state, the state in this country of India, of Uttar Pradesh, with 240 million people, conquered?
They conquered the coronavirus by giving massive doses of ivermectin to its citizens.
Is that misinformation?
How do we know that the information we're given from the compromised FDA, where the head of the FDA goes to become a member of the board of directors, Scott Gottlieb, board of directors of Pfizer, Why is that not possibly misinformation?
People who had COVID need to get a vaccine.
That's not misinformation.
But that's what they do.
They just declare misinformation.
Yep.
The deaths put a spotlight on the role right-wing hosts have played in the spreading of coronavirus misinformation as vaccination rates continue to deviate based on partisan beliefs.
A September survey from the Kaiser Family Foundation found that 52.8% of people in counties that voted for Joe Biden are fully vaccinated versus about 39.9% in those that went for President Donald Trump.
Yes.
By the way, they like this.
During the pandemic, he falsely compared the coronavirus to the flu and to snake bites.
In the very, very beginning, when there were like eight deaths in the country, I said something to that effect.
I never said it again.
And by the way, Nancy Pelosi, remember?
She said, oh, you should all gather in Chinatown, in New York.
In the very early stages, the very beginning when people didn't know what this was about, people said all sorts of things so as to minimize people's concerns.
So this is the way the Washington Post reports what I said.

Hi, everybody. everybody.
Dennis Prager here.
And let's see.
Stockton, California.
Mark, hello.
Yes, how would you grade the effectiveness of the coronavirus vaccine so far?
I don't know.
I don't have a grade because it's clearly helped a lot of people and it's clearly damaged a lot of people.
So I have no idea.
So you don't believe the statistic that says that 995 people out of 1,000 who have gotten the vaccine do not die and 5 out of 1,000 may do die?
I don't think the only adverse reaction is death.
I am not anti-vaccine.
I just don't know why people are so smug in assuming its effectiveness when there have been no long-range tests of it.
That's all.
I don't know why my position is in any way irrational or misinformed.
There are people it has clearly helped, and I thank God for that.
But if you look at VAERS, at the large number, and I'll tell you, I have not mentioned this, but since you asked, and you're certainly free to respond, I know two people, one of whom came close to death as a result of the vaccine, and one of whom I believe died as a result of the vaccine.
They were in perfect health.
And then horrible things happened after getting the vaccine.
I don't know why people deny that that happens.
Now, you might say it is so rare that it's true that aspirin has an adverse effect.
And fine, that's a fair reaction.
But there is a cavalier attitude towards something that is still in the experimental stages that I don't quite...
I don't quite share.
And I don't have any trust in the FDA or the CDC. I think they're corrupt.
That's the biggest problem of all.
If I trusted them, it would be a very different attitude on my part.
I think they're corrupt institutions.
I think American medicine is now corrupt.
You don't.
You believe that honest, fine people guide the American medical establishment.
Do you believe that the American Medical Association was right in announcing that birth certificates should not list sex?
Is that your question?
Is that your question?
Yes.
No.
Does it in any way?
And I really appreciate your calling, so please don't take it as an attack, and it's not, I swear.
Does that in any way cause you to rethink your trust in the AMA? No.
Okay.
So two decent Americans, both not admiring a position taken by the AMA, come to 180 degree different conclusions.
That's fair.
But I don't call you misinformation spreader, and I shouldn't be called a misinformation spreader.
That's all.
Honest people can differ.
Yep, sure.
Yeah, you said about India, the fact that a large province of 250 million people, they nearly eradicated the COVID.
Actually, that's due to the, not to ivermectin, but it's due to the increased mask wearing and the increased vaccines of that province, as well as a much younger population and healthier population in the United States.
We're very obese people here in the United States as opposed to India.
So you feel that masks are more effective than ivermectin?
Masks and vaccines, correct.
Yeah, well...
I will read about the vaccine part.
I'm not familiar with that.
It's a very fair challenge, and again, I thank you for calling.
Steve in Newberry Park, California.
Hello.
Dennis, great to speak with you.
I'm a microbiologist.
I want to concur with you.
The medical establishment right now is absolutely 100% corrupt.
The FDA is corrupt.
Natural immunity is by far, by far, much more effective.
Then this vaccine, which is totally unproven, which is totally experimental.
We know nothing about the long-term effects.
And let me also say that masks are useless.
I could take about 50,000, at least 50,000 virus particles, molecules, and stick them in one small human cell.
I could take over 50,000 and put them into one bacteria cell.
Using a mask, wearing a mask is useless.
Against this virus.
Natural immunity is by far the best, and the medications that you're taking, the ivermectin, the hydroxychloroquine, far more effective, the therapeutics, than what's happening right now.
The FDA, Fauci, absolutely corrupted science.
They don't even know what the word science means.
They say follow the science?
If they would follow the signs, they would understand natural immunity, what the body is able to protect and how the body is able to protect and how we develop T cells and how we develop all the various types of white blood cells and the complementary system that goes with natural immunity.
So I'm really sick and tired over this past year how the doctors so-called on MSNBC... Do you practice microbiology now?
I do.
I do.
And I also teach it.
All right.
Good man.
All right.
I appreciate that.

Good to be here, Dennis.
How are you?
I understand you're feeling a little under the weather?
I'm feeling pretty good, actually, but I do have COVID. I don't know if I'm still positive.
I was positive last week, and I think I'm a living example of the power.
Of taking care of yourself with prophylactics, but that's been a very controversial thing.
If you don't take the vaccine, you're considered an evil human being, and there is no alternative, according to the Washington Post.
Everything else is nonsense.
An amazing thing, what we're living in.
Anyway, I don't want to bother you with that.
Thank you.
I feel fine.
So, I want to talk to you about the economy of the country.
How worried are you about inflation?
Real worried, and I've been worried since last February and writing about it and pleading with the Biden administration to stop the ridiculous spending spree that they're on, enhancing demand by putting more money into people's pockets, and crippling supply by encouraging people not to work.
Incentives matter.
I'm real concerned about it, and it's just getting worse.
You know, you can see the ships that are offshore, and then when they dock, they don't have anywhere to put the containers.
They don't have anybody to unload them.
Then they've got the warehouses, which are already full, because nobody can drive the trucks to deliver them, and the delivery companies are having a hard time increasing workers' compensation to drawing more truck drivers because energy prices are very, very high.
And their delivery contracts are all long-term, and so they were entered into when energy prices were lower.
So we've just got almost a perfect storm of bad and not smart policies that have been put in place since President Biden was inaugurated, and it's just getting worse.
So Jan Psaki has said that this is, I think it was she, that this is an example of A robust economy.
We've got so many people buying so many things that we don't even have the time to unload them at our shipyards.
So the Biden administration has actually taken the exact same data and shown it to be a wonderful development.
They've tried to turn just about everything into a wonderful development.
And are consistently now reversing policies.
As you know, they're now claiming that the Trump vaccines are the only solution to the COVID epidemic, as you noted earlier.
They're now trying to encourage oil companies to produce more oil because they realize their policies really drove up the price of oil.
And they're even reversing the attempt to withdraw.
President Trump's a wait in Mexico policy on immigration because they've got an immigration disaster on their head.
So don't try and turn anything into positive news.
But look, as you know, businesses have survived literally for decades with very low shipping and storage costs because you could count on a very vibrant supply chain.
The ships would come, there were people to unload the containers, there were warehouses, and then they were shipped out quickly and delivered to shores.
So you didn't have high shipping costs and you didn't have high storage costs.
But what's happened here is they're driving up shipping and storage costs because there aren't enough people to unload the boats.
So if you've encouraged people not to work, you can't simultaneously take credit for some great economic awakening that screwed up our supply chains.
It's not a great economic awakening.
It's the fact that people aren't going to work.
Ethic in America was damaged during the pandemic.
We should have been, right from January, February, we should have been trying to reinstate the traditional American work ethic, and the Democrats are doing everything they can to continue to incentivize people not to work, and that's going to result in economic disaster.
And yet people will vote for the disaster.
I'd love to know how you...

Okay, everybody.
I'm speaking with Andy Puzder, one of the leading economists in the country, Fox News analyst, former CEO of Carl's Jr. and Hardee's Restaurant.
He's the presenter of the latest PragerU video from Woke to Broke ESG, which is an acronym for Environmental, Social...
Governance.
In other words, it's more important to be woke than to have profits.
So you were telling me about you're somewhat optimistic that the American voter will not continue to vote for these policies that are destroying the economy?
Yeah, I think it's very difficult for people to ignore the price of the gas tank.
It's very difficult to ignore the prices at the grocery store if they've even got some things on the shelves that you can purchase.
I mean, what people are facing day to day is very, very negative for President Biden, and it's showing up in the polls.
You know, he's about, look at the real clear politics average, he's about eight and a half points underwater, positive versus negative ratings, and Rasmussen has him down around 42 percent, Quinnipiac down around 40, tripped out at 40. Those are the kind of polling numbers that are very, very damaging in the election.
You know, I spoke in Cleveland to a group of about 200 people last week, and I went pretty hard to President Biden in the speech, and I warned people I was going to do that.
Cleveland's my hometown.
And I really thought I'd get some blowback from the audience afterwards, people supporting Biden and criticizing Trump.
I got just the opposite.
These people were mad.
I mean, they were actually more critical of President Biden than I was.
So I think there is a movement out there, maybe not in the heart of New York City or Los Angeles, but I think in flyover America, there's very serious resentment for what's going on and how it's affecting people's lives.
How is it most being felt?
At the grocery store and at the gas pump or everywhere?
I would say everywhere.
I do think people are seeing their paychecks bigger.
We're looking for an area where there might be something positive, but they're also noticing that they can't buy as much.
Again, back to the grocery store and the gas station.
We've had pretty good wage increases.
I mean, employers are willing to pay up to get workers right now, and wages have gone up 4%, 4.6%.
But inflation seems stubbornly above 5%.
So even though the number on their paychecks is bigger, the reality is that their real wages are less.
They're going down.
And I think that's particularly obvious to people and particularly impressive to them after the four years of President Trump where wage growth was always higher than inflation.
You had wage growth for 20 consecutive months.
It was 3% or better.
And inflation was down about 1.5%, so people not only had bigger paychecks, but what they got was worth more money.
And now they're seeing just the opposite, and I think that economics can have a real impact on people.
On top of people jumping out of planes in Afghanistan and are blowing up a car with seven children in it, and what's going on at the border, they see people just walking across the river down in Mexico.
All of these things combined are...
Very, very negative for the president.
There really is no way for the administration to paint these things positively.
In fact, when you hear Pasaki talk, as she said, as you pointed out earlier, about how the economic news all indicates a strong economy.
You have to ask yourself, and it's just stupid that these people think we are.
We are in real trouble nationally on a number of fronts, and we don't really have the leadership we need to get out of trouble.
A final question.
Are you as troubled by the radicalization of big corporations as I am?
I mean, I keep reading about whether it's Disney or Nike or Verizon, the policies that they are following internally, teaching their workers that they are all racist if they are white, So here's my question.
One, are you as disturbed?
You probably are.
So I'll go to part two if I'm right about part one.
Are there any corporations that are not woke?
Well, it'd be hard to find one right now.
And I am very, very concerned about it.
And a lot of it...
For some corporations, woke is just a way to make more money.
It's a way to appeal to your target market, like Nike or Starbucks or Patagonia, that have kind of a left-leaning market.
So in some senses, this woke appeal is really just appealing to your target market.
But for companies like Coca-Cola or groups like the NFL or Major League Baseball or the NBA or the Academy Awards, I think they're...
They're going woke is very disconcerting, and it's something that people can do something about.
With respect to, for example, Koch, there was a poll that came out from Rasmussen that said 37% of Americans objected to their opposition to the Georgia voting law and that woke HR policy, the critical race theory HR policy that they're all trying to invoke.
And Coke ended up, when they saw that 37% of Americans were less inclined to buy their products, all of a sudden the guy that came up with that was let go or resigned, and they pulled back on the policy.
So on some of this, you can have an effect.
It's just ESG investing is really the problem.
It's these large investment funds that are imposing these progressive policies on corporations in which they own shares.
And they really own the shares on behalf of people that invest with them, primarily pension funds.
So they're really taking power from a source that they're probably not entitled to take power from.
And I think it's something we need to react to quickly.
Or like the education and media establishments, if we don't react, we're going to lose the business community as well.
And that would be really a disaster.
I think we have lost the business community.
That's right, which is why you did the video.
Well, bless you.

As of October 8th.
It's 16,766 deaths.
79,669 hospitalizations.

What the left tries to do is they just use emotion.
They try to make you so mad that you stop thinking.
And you end up, you wind up just literally foregoing your liberties, your civil liberties, because you're mad at somebody.
And the left just reels you in.
Oh, this person is racist.
Oh, this person is homophobic.
Oh, this person is xenophobic.
And all this kind of stuff.
It's constantly, it's this...
Constant divisiveness.
It's this constant state of anger just to keep you mad.
And then you're so busy being mad.
You're so busy hating your neighbor that you're not thinking, oh, wait a minute.
Inflation is skyrocketing?
You mean I won't be able to afford groceries?
I'm already struggling, but I won't be able to afford groceries?
I won't be able to afford to put gas in my car?
See, the big issues they want you to stop thinking about.
They just want you to hate Republicans.
They want you to hate black conservatives.
They want you to hate white conservatives.
Meanwhile, they're hating on you.
It's amazing to me how the left gets away with this stuff.
And it's amazing to me how so many people continuously fall for it.
You notice every election cycle, the left will blow up, the media will blow up a story about a black man or...
Whatever.
Maybe it's an issue with cops or whatever it may be.
But you have to understand something.
And I'm not saying these stories like George Floyd and all this kind of stuff shouldn't be brought to light.
But you have to understand the reason why they're brought to light isn't because they happen all the time.
Because police have millions of stops and deal with, you know, they have millions of confrontations with criminals and none every single year.
So when something like a George Floyd incident makes it onto the news, it's not because it's normative.
It's because it's extremely rare.

What percentage of hospitalizations?
A lot of this information is rather difficult to find, in part because Fauci has not been a reliable source of the best information.

It's fascinating to read that.
They hope I die because I didn't take the vaccination.
Instead, I relied on therapeutics.
So they hope I die.
It gives you an idea of the evil that permeates the left.
I mean, I'm talking about people writing in the Washington Post, which has a piece attacking me today.
It's hard for me to quite wrap my head around these people.
Differ with us on the left, and we wish that you die.
It's an interesting question.
Is there something comparable on conservative sites?
Maybe.
I read comments, as you know, a great deal.
I don't think that there is.
Do we hope that people who get vaccinated die?
Did it ever occur to any one of us to want that, let alone to write it?
Yeah, let's hope he dies.
And the arguments are quite remarkable that I took up a hospital bed.
Of course, I didn't.
They just make these things up.
I didn't enter a hospital.
I got my monoclonal infusion at a clinic outside of a hospital.
My wife got one, too.
I think we pay enough in taxes to have earned the right to use the public funds that went for that.
Someday, I hope, some fair analysis of the vaccine reactions some fair analysis of the vaccine reactions I'm not talking about physical reactions.
The mental reactions, the moral reactions will be made.
A sort of mass psychosis has taken over the society.
I have never spoken out against the vaccines.
I said yesterday, you should either be taking the vaccine or a therapeutic.
That was never reported, needless to say, in all the left-wing lying media, Daily Beast or Media Matters or the Washington Post.
They take two minutes of a three-hour broadcast, and that's the totality of the coverage.
And you can do that with anybody.

I agree with that.
So who's the grown-up?
The person who says, I will live life and not live in fear.
I will get out of my house and I will hug strangers, as I announced yesterday, which I did.
And if I got COVID, I believed that I would be taken care of by therapeutics.
Let's hope he joins his fellow radio hosts in heaven soon.

I read to you last hour the data at the CDC. The VAERS COVID Vaccine Adverse Event Reports.
VAERS is the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System.
This is CDC for those of you who worship at the CDC. Just thought you should know about that.
I'm not saying it means you don't take a vaccine.
I'm saying it is not wrong to think that there are dangers in it.
It is an amazing thing.
Remember, though, when President Trump came out with the warp speed, as he called it, the warp speed vaccination.
And Operation Warp Speed.
And the Trump haters said, I'll never take a vaccine that was issued under, discovered under, made under Donald Trump.
And then Biden comes to office, and then they rush to take the vaccine.
It is remarkable.
The whole scenario in which we're living is incredible.

What do you make of the headline?
It's some good reporting, but Trump has been running a wink and a nod candidacy since the day he left the White House.
And it was pretty clear to me when I interviewed him for the book in May that he was interested in running again.
He asked me, why do people think I'm not running?
I said, who says you're not running?
Let's just talk about other people that may run if you don't, which I finally got him to agree to do.
How long did that take?
Three and a half hours.
Yeah, I mean, you gotta...
I got him there.
So, I was told yesterday by a confidant of the former president that he is going to run, and that if he changes his mind because of health, but he looks in great shape, if he does run, he's going to destroy anyone who runs against him.
I mean, just take them out at the knees and turn on them.
And if he doesn't run, he'll be supportive of them, hoping to freeze them for a while.
Consistent with your understanding?
Yeah, well, look, first of all, we know that any time he's in a campaign, he tries to take people out at the knees.
Again, nothing new.
I think the thing to understand about President Trump, former President Trump, is that he loves being in the arena.
He loves holding his big rallies.

Ah, before I go to calls, I have a very, very special guest.
One of the most wonderful women I've ever known.
Lori Cardoza-Moore, founder of Preserving Justice to the Nations, now deeply involved in fighting CRT. The transgenderism and anti-Semitism in schools.
Lori, welcome to the Dennis Prager Show.
Good morning, Dennis.
I was listening to your segment prior to this one, and it's just terrific to hear what people are saying about you.
But just know that there are many, many people across this country who love you, who've been praying for you, who are grateful.
Thank you for all that you're doing to help us to preserve the God-fearing nation that we've always been.
We've lost our way, but we are taking it back, Dennis.
And thank you for helping by leading the charge and inspiring and encouraging so many parents, so many citizens across this nation.
You're invaluable to the cause.
So we thank God that you're doing well.
That's very kind.
It means a lot.
Thank you, Lori.
What are you doing in Los Angeles?
So, we are meeting with potential chapter directors.
We are expanding, proclaiming justice to the nations out here in Los Angeles, in California.
We launched a campaign a couple of months ago to take back America's children.
And the goal is to focus on the three most important states in the country, Florida, Texas, and also California.
And we've had huge success.
More and more people in California are waking up to the indoctrination and the propaganda our children are being subjected to.
And so we are coming out to help.
Educate, activate, motivate parents and citizens.
This is not just a parent issue, and it's not just an issue of parents with kids in the school system.
This is a responsibility of the parents, the grandparents, and the citizens, because the citizens pay the taxes for this garbage that's going on in our schools.
Thank God we see parents who are rising up nationwide.
You know, Dennis, you know we've been at this for a decade.
We've been pounding the pavement, beating the drum, sounding the alarm, telling parents and citizens, you have got to get involved in your school board.
You must attend these meetings.
You must hear what they are discussing and debating.
You must look at the curriculum and the textbooks that they are approving.
For our children.
And now it is, thank God, you know, if there was any silver lining in the whole COVID, you know, issue, it was a fact that parents, children were forced to go home.
Parents were seeing and listening to what their children were being subjected to in the classroom.
And when they started to hear, they began to question.
And as they began to question.
Then the powers that be in the infrastructure in our local school districts started to rise up against the parents and citizens.
And then, of course, you see now we've got the DOJ threatening parents for going to the school board meetings and expressing their displeasure at the direction that these leaders are taking our children and our community and our state, and ultimately this nation.
So, what is the name of the organization that's fighting back at schools?
Proclaiming Justice to the Nations.
We've been at this tennis for a decade.
Right, but, okay, so that I'm familiar with, Lori, I thought that was primarily involved with Israel.
It's fighting anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiment.
And here's what happened.
We had a parent who brought a textbook to me in Williamson County, which is where we lived.
The parent said to me, you'll never believe what we're teaching our children in our classrooms here in the belt buckle of the Bible Belt.
Well, it was a quote in a Pearson published textbook that approved of Palestinians blowing themselves up.
In a Jerusalem restaurant.
Because they were waging a war against Israeli government policies and army actions.
So as I saw that, then I saw the anti-Israel comment.
And then I thought, well, if it's anti-Israel and it's anti-Semitic, there must be more to this.
And so as I began to dig deeper into that book, then I saw the anti-American, anti-Judeo-Christian.
Content that was being peddled to our children, pro-China.
This was a decade ago.
And that's when we started to sound the alarm.
Well, nobody was listening.
We couldn't get people to show up to school board meetings.
I travel all over this country to communities.
Right, okay.
So hold on there.
So they're related, which I want to hear about upon return.

So again, I want to make clear, it's one organization that is doing all of this, because...
There's also preserving justice in the nations.
Is that the same as proclaiming justice to the nations?
No, Dennis, that's another organization.
And there are organizations who are rising up on the local level that we collaborate with.
And this is all a result of what has happened just during this whole COVID thing, since children have had to come home.
to be educated and parents have seen the evidence of the content of the textbooks as they have set in on their child's virtual classrooms and heard the discussion of what was being introduced to our children.
The propaganda that we saw a decade ago, in fact, I'll tell you the impact of that propaganda and how it feeds into What is happening to our country today?
Many of us look at our children and say, what happened?
Where did we go wrong?
Well, we didn't realize that just down the street, as we put them on their yellow school bus to go off to school, that there was a whole agenda of taking away our country, taking our freedoms away from us.
But a mother who contacted me with regards to this one textbook, her son had been homeschooled.
Through middle school.
It was his first year in a public school.
He was only in the class for two months, Dennis.
And then it was Nakba Day.
So he, and of course, for those in the audience who don't know what Nakba Day is, it's the day that the Palestinians bemoan the fact that Israel became a nation.
And he came home from school and he said to his mother, now this is a Bible-believing Christian.
This kid was in Bible study with my kids.
He says to his mother, who has legitimate rights to the land of Israel?
She says, what does the Bible say?
This is a no-brainer.
He said, no, Mom, I know what the Bible says.
But he said, tell me the truth.
Who really has rights to the land?
And that's when the mother started to question him.
And she dug into some of the materials that he had been given to take home that day.
And she brought me the book and showed me the content.
This is all part and parcel of what we are witnessing today.
We saw it a decade ago.
It came in.
This has been an effort that's been going on for over a hundred years.
But in recent times, Common Core has been the instrument that the opposition has used to dumb down our children.
To teach them what to think instead of how to think.
Alright, so how do people get in touch with you?
I would encourage people to go to our website at PJTN.org to sign up to get on our mailing list.
Here in California, we're starting a new chapter.
We have four cities where we have seen huge growth in supporters.
In San Francisco, here in Los Angeles, In Irvine and in San Diego.
And so we are here to do what we have done successfully in Florida, in Tennessee, in Ohio, and of course we are going to do it here.
California, you know, when this whole situation with Recall, with Newsom, I was watching with bated breath to see what would happen.
And to see the parents and the citizens who rose up, To call for the recall, and I saw the number of people who were signing, putting their signature to that recall.
I said to our team, something's happening in California.
The direction, the winds are starting to change.
People in California who've enjoyed this incredible, beautiful part of our country are now waking up to realize that something has been remiss.
For a long time.
And now people see that their freedoms, that our republic, are hanging in the balance.
And you know, you asked me about our organization, and yes, our organization fights anti-Semitism, we fight anti-Israelism, we fight anti-Americanism.
The reason we do, Dennis...
It's because if America is not strong, who will stand with Israel?
The United States and Israel have always been united together, either spiritually or, of course, in modern times since the rebirth of the nation-state of Israel.
Yes, all right, bless your soul.
Okay, listen, that's PJTN. It is up at DennisPrager.com, proclaiming justice to the nations.

Because there is a Washington Post story out that Trump is running a wink and a nod campaign, Trump, talked out of announcing a 2024 bid for now, settles on a wink and a nod on official candidacy.
What do you make of the headline?
Well, it's some good reporting, but Trump has been running a wink and a nod candidacy since the day he left the White House.
Pretty clear to me when I interviewed him for the book in May that he was interested in running again.
He asked me, why do people think I'm not running?
I said, who says you're not running?
Let's just talk about other people that may run if you don't, which I finally got him to agree to do.
How long did that take?
You know, about three and a half hours.
Yeah, I mean, you got to...
I got him there.
So, I was told yesterday by a confidant of the former president that he is going to run and that if he changes his mind because of health, but that he looks in great shape, if he does run, he's going to destroy anyone who runs against him.
I think the thing to understand about President Trump, former President Trump... ...the president former President Trump... ...the president of the
United States.
...the president of the United States.
Okay.
It is a way of saying, without saying, that it's a wisdom hour.
Great issues are about wisdom.
There's very little wisdom in the country, and you know why I believe that is, but that's a separate issue for another time.
So, today's subject is a sobering one.
Do you believe that America, compared to 50 years ago, is generally speaking kinder, generally speaking less kind, more mean?
Or pretty much as it was then?
That's the question.
And if you think it has changed in either direction, why do you think that change has taken place?
1-8 Prager-776-877-243-7776 I have every reason to believe.
That it has gotten meaner.
It is a less kind society.
And an example that I gave last hour is a good one, and that is the lack of acceptance of penitence, of people having transformed their lives, which was central.
To the Judeo-Christian value system that was central to the United States.
It was just assumed people could turn their lives around.
Many people did.
And they were not only accepted as having done so, but they were admired for having done so.
I think of Brett Kavanaugh, and that was the example I gave last hour in passing.
A man who was charged out of essentially nowhere with having attacked a woman in high school some 35 years earlier.
By every account, he had led an honorable, monogamous, family-centered, community-centered life, all of his adult life.
And here the man was held up to national ridicule, forcing the man into tears in a national Senate hearing over what might or might not have happened when he was in high school, even if it did happen when he was in high school.
That is not something that you bring up 35 years later in order to dismiss a human's decency.
That to me is indicative of a society that has become meaner.
And I don't know about the recent rape.
Where was that?
Was it on the New York subway?
Where a whole bunch of people videoed the rape while taking place.
Videoed it with their cameras.
And nobody did anything.
So I don't know.
Is that an example?
Oh, it's Philadelphia.
Thank you.
That's correct.
It was Philadelphia.
Yep.
So we had many years ago, over 50 years ago, the Kitty Genovese story, New York Times, A.M. Rosenthal covered that very famous story A.M. Rosenthal covered that very famous story of a woman screaming while being stabbed and raped.
and nobody did anything outside their windows.
Everybody could hear it, and she died.
And it was a very, very famous and very upsetting story in America.
So, I don't know if that's a fair example of something analogous to the Philadelphia train story, but I think there's a callousness today that is That does betoken a certain level of
meanness that did not exist in American life as much in the past.
So the question is, if that is true, if you believe that, and it may not be true, and I hope it isn't true, but if it is, what might be the origin?
I'll give you my example.
The example I give the most frequently, I think, of the increase in meanness in the country is treatment of parents, where you have children who won't speak to a parent because where you have children who won't speak to a parent because of This is new.
This is, you have to admit, this is brand new.
You voted for Trump, I won't let you see the grandchildren because you'll poison them.
You're unworthy of being part of my life because you're a Republican.
This is a level of cruelty that did not exist in the past.
I mean, think about all the presidential candidates and The absurdity of, oh, you voted for, I don't know, just name somebody.
You voted for Barry Goldwater.
You voted for Bob Dole.
You voted for George W. Bush.
You voted for John McCain.
I can't talk to you.
You can't see the grandchildren.
You'll poison them.
It never happened.
And it certainly doesn't happen in the other direction.
You voted for Joe Biden.
You voted for a Democrat.
You voted for Al Gore.
You can't see the grandchildren.
You'll poison them.
So that's certainly a level of meanness that I think is new in the United States.
So the question is, if that is correct, if that read is correct, What might be the reason or reasons for it?
Well, one thing, I think that there is one reason for it is that we live in the age of feelings.
How you feel is what matters, and thereby we have fostered a narcissism.
Because narcissism and feelings are, if not synonymous, profoundly related.
How do you feel about it is the question, rather than is it right?
I've warned about this all of my life.
How do you feel about it?
I always gave the example of when my older son was about two years old, now 38. This was a long time ago.
He was in a park.
In Los Angeles.
And his mom told me the story.
He was pushed down to the ground by some bad kid of about four or five years of age.
Just out of nowhere came and pushed him down to the ground.
And the mother ran over to this boy and said something to the effect.
Honey, what's troubling you?
Honey, what's troubling you is not the appropriate response.
A smack would have been appropriate.
Being yelled at would have been.
But being asked what's troubling you isn't the issue.
And yet, that is the way in which narcissism is fostered.
And narcissism does not produce kinder people.
So the question on the table this Ultimate Issues Hour is, is America meaner, kinder, the same?
And whichever one do you vote, what is your reason?

The question on the ultimate issues table, third hour Tuesday, ultimate issue, do you think America is as kind, no less kind, no more kind than 50 years ago, more mean, less mean, and whatever your vote, why do you think that is?
I think that we have produced a lot of meanness in the country in the last 50 years.
And I've always considered Americans to be the nicest of people.
So this is a painful subject for me.
But the substitution of aughts with feelings You ought to do this.
You ought to do that.
That has died.

All right, so it doesn't always work, this button.
Sorry about that, folks.
The after effects of COVID. Doing rather well, as you would imagine, given that I'm already broadcasting.
But there is a lingering cough to it.
Anyway, that's the question on the table.
And my biggest example is the way a lot of children treat their parents.
Alright, David, Los Angeles.
Hello.
Hi there.
I have two points.
One, I find that I have kids, and I find that they are much kinder, and their peers are much kinder.
There's a lot less bullying in schools these days.
And the other point is that...
I don't think you can claim that adults are coarser without laying some of the blame on a president who insulted everybody for four years.
If it doesn't, then I'm just going to set it to 10%.
Hmm.
Alright, so let's...
Alright, so...
So, okay, tell me when I can speak.
If you want to speak further, go right ahead.
Well, I was actually...
I was just going to say that I was thinking earlier today about...
When he insulted the disabled reporter and his supporters said, he wasn't insulting him for being disabled.
He makes that same face and mocking gestures towards a whole bunch of other people.
As just one example.
Okay.
Alright.
So you think, and I'm not challenging, I'm just clarifying.
You think that Americans today Are, as a rule, nicer than 50 years ago?
I wouldn't say all Americans, but I definitely...
No, no, there's no such thing as all.
Of course not.
As a general rule.
And I'm saying amongst children, there's much more kindness and acceptance, especially acceptance of difference amongst children.
But amongst adults, I would say it's coarser and more polarized and much meaner in its polarization.
And I think it's only fair to lay a good portion of that blame on Trump.
So Americans were nicer till Trump?
I mean, you could say that, you know, we could have an endless debate of did America bring about Trump or did Trump bring about America?
He was kind of an embodiment of how some of the country was going, but I think that his existence and his behavior definitely said, and I've heard this from lots of people, that, you know, Trump makes it okay to say whatever you want again.
Trump makes it okay to be mean and insult people and hate people and mock people, right?
That's par for the course for a good portion of his supporters.
Well, I was a supporter, and I didn't change the way I treated people.
So, just for the record, by the way, he did not mock the reporter's disability.
I know that to be a fact, to the closest of my ability to know facts.
The media lied about it, and you bought the lie, and I don't blame you for buying it, because that's all you heard.
No, no, you didn't listen to what I said.
I listened to every word you said.
My point is that regardless of whether he was mocking the reporter for his disability, he was mocking the reporter in a way that...
Yes, so you're right.
You're right.
Wait, he was mocking the reporter in a way that...
Wait.
Wait, is the president...
The president was not...
So you acknowledge he was not mocking his disability.
I mean, fine.
I haven't watched that video as much.
Okay, so then why raise it?
I don't care if the president mocks reporters.
The reporters are worthy of mockery.
They have made a mockery of truth.
Oops, sorry.
Got to get back to you.
Your point is?
Well, I don't think public mockery, and he didn't just mock the reporter, he mocked or reporters, lots of people.
I don't think that's very presidential, and I do think...
I agree with you.
I couldn't agree with you more.
Lyndon Johnson mocked people.
Lyndon Johnson was a pretty tough character.
Look, I won't develop this at great length.
I have never bought the idea that the president is the role model for young Americans or older Americans.
I mean, did Americans decide to have orgies in their places of work because John Kennedy did?
anyway I'll have more to say about this in a moment the Democratic Party somehow has convinced black people that they're the Never mind the skanky history of the Democratic Party.

More open to a transgender child or to a gay child than they were in the past.
I think that that is fair to say.
And that is a good thing.
But with regard to intellectual differences and the meanness To, let's say, a conservative kid in class, this is new.
So I think it's a mixed bag with kids today.
Look, if about half of young Americans think that free speech should be limited, it's hard to imagine it produces a kinder human being.
All right, let's see what else you folks have to say.
And John in Phoenix, Arizona, hello.
Yes, sir, how are you doing?
Okay.
I'm glad you're getting better.
I would say that America has gotten less kind, and I would say the best due to folks' hypersensitivity.
Go on.
So hypersensitivity or hyper-awareness of feelings, hurting somebody's feelings.
And I would say that that comes from political correctness, political correct speech that people have been taught and been expected to submit to.
So as a paraplegic veteran, For example, I will interact with people in the marketplace.
Say 15 years ago, folks were very quick to help me, to offer help, getting in my vehicle, shopping, whatever's going on.
And I've seen over time, people would be reluctant to help.
Or if they did offer to help, they would say right off the bat, I don't want to hurt your feelings.
Well, I hope that you aren't offended.
And I just didn't understand where on earth they were coming from.
So I'd ask people, well, why would you think I'd be offended for you to offer help?
Well, I don't want to offend you because you're disabled.
Then they would get tripped up on what...
Wait, so they're apologizing for offering you help?
Absolutely.
That's almost hilarious.
Because I might be offended.
So, alright, so...
I think you...
Your circumstance would argue for a country that has gotten more silly, not more mean.
Okay, okay, yeah.
Well, yes, that's right.
Yep, more silly.
I think that that is...
I can't tell you how much I appreciate this call because I could never have made this up.
This is for real.
Oh, I believe you.
You couldn't have made it up.
So they will say, listen, forgive me for offering you help?
Absolutely.
Or say...
I would immediately say, I don't want to offend you, or I hope this doesn't hurt your feelings.
And also, I would say I've seen the interactions with people have definitely decreased.
And I don't know if that's maybe something about me, but maybe I'll look less friendly, who knows.
But people saying, coming to offer help, I would say has significantly decreased.
And I would contribute that maybe so much to meanness.
But maybe around the fear of what the interaction is going to be like.
Well, listen, thank you.
Again, I've got to say, this was revelatory to me.
You know, in some twisted way, it's actually sweet, but I think stupid.
But in a bizarre way, it's sweet.
Look, what they're saying is, I don't want you to infer from my offer that I think that you can't navigate the door.
Oh, wow.
I'd like to hear from other folks with handicaps.

Ultimate Issues Hour.
Has there been an increase in meanness, kindness, or neither in the last 50 years in the United States?
That's the question.
When I see the cruelty dished out to Public figures, especially to Republicans, like the Brett Kavanaugh story, I have to conclude that there's been an increase in meanness.
That you can say anything.
If a person is a conservative, they are not worthy of decent behavior.
And the example, the best example, as I gave earlier, is The treatment of parents who voted for Donald Trump.
Was it a third?
About a third of Americans have a family member that doesn't speak to the family or doesn't speak to a parent.
And very often it is a result of politics.
And even when it isn't, It is usually an act of meanness.
I mean, very rarely is it warranted.
So, anyway, those are examples.
Let's see here.
Janelle in Bakersfield, California.
Hello.
Hi, how are you?
Okay, thank you.
So, I was listening, and I heard the gentleman earlier talking about how he thinks, since Trump's been in office, people are meaner, and, you know, the bullying in schools and stuff.
Literally, as he was talking about that, my son was texting me from school, telling me, well, I'm being bullied, Mom.
Can you just come get me?
You know, and talking about people are meaner now than they were years ago.
I would think now, but people tend to think the people on the right are meaner, but yet, you know, the left is, you know, sending death threats and wishing death, you know, upon other people, but we on the right don't do that.
I don't think we do it as much.
I think there are people who do it.
I agree with you.
So, I'm curious, what is the story with your 11-year-old?
So, I don't know what it is.
It seems he's always the kid in school that's protecting other kids from being bullied.
You know, he even got in trouble one year for protecting a special needs child that was being bullied.
But the tables have kind of turned this year, and he's being bullied.
And it seems to have kind of started last.
The end of last school year.
And, you know, he's a very sweet kid.
He's genuine, loves everybody.
But these kids just...
And he's come home and told me that him and kids in class have gotten in political debate, you know.
And we, as Trump supporters, you know, he gets a lot of hate from that.
And there's kids that...
You know, just based upon that, you know, he came home and told me one day that there's kids saying, oh, we're Trump supporters, we're racist, we're this, we're that, you know, and it just seems to have trailed over.
We even had a teacher last year that I think knew by just, you know, being on Zoom and things in our house that maybe she had seen with Trump.
She was just awful to my son and myself.
So did you pick your son up?
I'm about to go get him.
So what is your thinking in that regard?
Why not let him duke it out?
In my opinion, I've always told him, you know, don't start a fight.
But if someone's going to mess with you, by God, finish it.
That's always my stance.
He got in trouble last year because a kid came up, shoved him on the ground, and he defended himself and got up, got in a fight, and then almost got suspended from school.
But the other kid didn't even get anything done to him at all.
But he was just protecting himself.
Why did the other kid get nothing done to him?
That was my question to the principal.
Well, why is this kid...
And what did the principal say?
They said because nobody saw him push my son.
But yet, as soon as my son gets up and defends himself, then he's, you know, in trouble.
So why are you picking him up?
I go back to the original question.
You know, I'm at a point where a lot of parents are...
Especially with what's going on in California right now, to just homeschool them anyway.
Oh, good.
No, no, no.
That would be great.
But I'm only asking because I want kids to be tough.
And unless they're being severely hurt, I think they need to learn to fight back.
Anyway, I salute you.
I hope you do homeschool your child.
That's clear.
All right, and let's go to Steve in Prescott, Arizona.
Hello.
Hello, Dennis.
How are you?
Okay, thank you.
Okay, so, yeah, good versus bad, good versus evil, nice versus all that.
I mean, I think that in the last 50 years...
Everybody's good and bad.
I think that the volume has been turned up slowly over the years, and I think one of the main causes of both sides is, especially the bad, mean side, is human indifference, entitlement, you know, the things that make it, you know, the narcissism that you were speaking to, I think that people gravitate more towards that because it's easier.
And, you know, just with a few of those words in there, I'll just kind of let you run with that, and I appreciate your time.
Well, okay.
Bless you.
Thank you.
Yeah, I don't think people...
Forget I don't think.
think I am certain that people who feel entitled become meaner because they're less grateful and in gratitude produces meanness streaming on Salem now Fiance?

Trump, talked out of announcing a 2024 bid for now, settles on a wink and a nod on official candidacy.
He hasn't tired of politics.
He didn't want to retire from politics.
And unlike presidents in the past who have lost, he's simply not going to do so.
There is this question of, is America becoming a safer country?
or a more dangerous country?

Ultimate Issues Hour, final segment every Tuesday, third hour.
Is there an increase or decrease in meanness in the country?
And Jennifer in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Hello.
Hi, Dennis.
We've spoken a couple times briefly.
I'm so glad to get through.
I would love to let you know there is an ad council.
Radio ad that plays, there's the one about fat shaming and there's the don't do this and that to these types of people and don't say this and that.
And there is one that says, do not assume a handicapped person can't do something and you're not supposed to offer them help if they don't ask for it.
The girl in the commercial very snarkily says, I actually got it all under control.
And so you're supposed to not even try to help them because the radio is telling you to.
So that was what the paraplegic veteran was noting.
People apologize if they even offer help.
This is government sanctioned meanness.
Uh-huh.
It is fascinating.
Thank you.
I want to take another one, Jennifer.
A blind person calling in.
Tempe, Arizona.
Larry, hello.
Hi, Dennis.
I spoke to you a while back, and I don't remember the topic exactly, but about blindness and how that interprets people around me.
And the previous gentleman, a couple of calls back, he's absolutely right.
I don't know that it...
It doesn't affect me from a standpoint of people being mean.
I think it comes from that, though, in that political correctness is really from a heart of meanness.
Now, because I'm blind, somebody is not supposed to say, sometimes you do not even use the word blind, because it isn't conned.
I'm not...
It's going to be treating me poorly to do that, but that's...
That's ridiculous.
I'm blind.
That's not a bad word.
It's unbelievable.
I'd like to know what you're supposed to be called, if not blind.
I wish we had more time, Larry.
