Dennis Prager Show - Biden Is Destroying the Economy on Purpose! Aired: 2021-10-15 Duration: 02:33 === Biden's Trillion-Dollar Borrowing Plan (02:33) === [00:00:00] And by the way, it's appropriate for the government to borrow during a period of a crisis like we had in COVID. You know, we borrowed so we could get through that terrible crisis. [00:00:10] We borrowed, obviously, during World War I and World War II. Reagan borrowed during the Cold War so we could defeat the evil empire. [00:00:18] But what's really amazing about what's happening in America today, and it terrifies me, terrifies me, is that the Biden administration wants to borrow $5 to $10 trillion just in the next couple of years, and the crisis is over. [00:00:31] We should be reducing the government spending and reducing the national debt and paying down the debt in a responsible way. [00:00:38] They want to double the debt over the next... [00:00:42] One of the lines of our video that's really gotten a lot of attention is that the average child born today, over the next 25, 30 years, will pay $500,000. [00:00:53] Their share of the national debt will be $500,000, Bob. [00:00:57] I mean, that's fiscal child abuse. [00:00:59] What great country does this to our children that we pass on all these costs? [00:01:03] I love Biden saying, we have to pass my bill to help children. [00:01:06] It's like, who does he think is going to pay for this? [00:01:09] Well, two things. [00:01:11] First of all, I love that phrase, financial child abuse. [00:01:13] I've never heard that before, and that's very accurate. [00:01:16] Second of all, I fail to understand exactly how this is going to harm our children because, and you and I talked about this two weeks ago on my local show in Cleveland, Steve. [00:01:25] Yeah, I remember. [00:01:25] In the new math, in the common core math, apparently being used by Joe Biden and his financial team, three and a half trillion dollars actually equals zero. [00:01:33] This is all paid for, so there's not going to be... [00:01:35] Oh, my God. [00:01:36] Yeah, it's all free. [00:01:37] I mean, Nancy Pelosi... [00:01:39] Joe Biden is saying that. [00:01:41] By the way, the more they say that, the more that the support for that bill goes down. [00:01:45] You know, one of my great friends and a guy I really admired over the years, Herman Cain, who died about a year ago. [00:01:53] I love that man and worked for him when he ran for president. [00:01:56] But Herman, his last book was called They Think We're Stupid. [00:01:59] And when I hear Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden say, hey, it's free. [00:02:03] It's not going to cost you anything. [00:02:04] All I could think of was Herman Spook. [00:02:06] They think we're stupid. [00:02:07] And the good news, American people aren't stupid. [00:02:09] They're onto this. [00:02:10] I've got to tell you, the inflation problem right now is very real. [00:02:15] I'm predicting, Bob, I think I said this on your local show a week or two ago, I'm predicting in the next four weeks we're going to have $5 gallon gasoline. [00:02:22] I don't want to spoil people's weekends. [00:02:25] But there's an energy crisis around the world. [00:02:27] We're pretty close to that. [00:02:28] Right now in California, if I'm not mistaken. [00:02:30] Not necessarily everywhere, but there. [00:02:32] Steve Moore, hang with us.
