Dennis Prager Show - Won't Get the Vaccine? Then You Will Be Fired! Aired: 2021-10-08 Duration: 06:27 === Vaccination Mandates and Police State (04:54) === [00:00:00] I just want you to know that. [00:00:01] I took it really because I want people to hear what is being done in the United States for the first time in its history, taking people like you and putting you in such a position. [00:00:15] It's an act of evil. [00:00:17] It is the beginning of a police state. [00:00:19] I swear to God that that is the case. [00:00:22] There is no doubt in my mind the left would create a police state if they could, and they're on their way to doing so. [00:00:28] To deny it is to actively engage in willful ignoring of something bad because it's too painful to acknowledge and it means you'd have to fight it. [00:00:41] Okay, having said that, so your employer will do this or New York State will force them? [00:00:52] What is the story in New York? [00:00:57] A couple days ago, Mayor de Blasio, he had a press conference, unrelated, but of course the topic came up. [00:01:05] I don't know how close you've been following, but the teachers lost the battle in New York City about a week ago, and they were all mandated to get the vaccine. [00:01:13] That being said, going into it, I think the number was at 83 before they even hit the mandate. [00:01:20] As far as my job... [00:01:22] I'm sorry, what number? [00:01:25] So, the New York City teachers, they were at an 83% vaccination rate before the mandate. [00:01:32] Right. [00:01:33] Yeah, before the mandate. [00:01:34] Now, on the NYPD, I think we're roughly around 55% to 60%. [00:01:43] That was the last number I heard a few days ago. [00:01:45] If that's true, you think that de Blasio would okay getting rid of 40% of the officers? [00:01:56] See, that's not an option. [00:01:57] But then on the other side of the coin, what percentage of that number is going to be coerced into getting it? [00:02:02] Well, if they all stood firm, it's hard to imagine that New Yorkers would say, we could lose 40% of our police. [00:02:09] No problem. [00:02:13] I don't know. [00:02:14] I mean, interesting as such a nun. [00:02:19] Yeah, I don't know, Dennis. [00:02:20] I can tell you we're sick over it. [00:02:21] And it's not just the vaccinated cops. [00:02:23] I'm sick on your behalf. [00:02:27] Yeah, the vaccinated cops are sick about it, too. [00:02:29] That's right. [00:02:30] I mean, this isn't the end. [00:02:32] It's not, you know, as if they're going to give us the vaccine and it's going to be over. [00:02:36] No, it's just the beginning. [00:02:38] That is correct. [00:02:39] It's just the beginning. [00:02:40] That's right. [00:02:41] Listen, I salute you. [00:02:44] You said something which I didn't interrupt, but it was so important. [00:02:48] It's now transcending a health issue into a moral issue. [00:02:53] That's how I feel. [00:02:54] The more they coerce the scum, and they are scum, they are America-hating, liberty-hating, humanity-hating people. [00:03:05] And you must understand that. [00:03:09] And the more they do that, the more I don't want to take the vaccine. [00:03:15] They are having the opposite effect on some of us. [00:03:20] Joe Biden is a lowlife. [00:03:22] He is a thug. [00:03:24] He's a crook. [00:03:26] He's a weakling. [00:03:28] And when weaklings have power, it's a very, very bad thing. [00:03:33] This is the man who said it. [00:03:36] We had SARS virus in the Obama administration, and he announced he would not enter an airplane. [00:03:44] This guy is as close to a coward as we have had in the presidency in our history. [00:03:50] Not close. [00:03:51] He is. [00:03:51] He's a coward with power. [00:03:54] Very dangerous group. [00:03:58] There is a scientific basis for the idea, you're vaccinated, why the hell do you care if I am? [00:04:05] This is astonishing. [00:04:07] The only answer they have, the only is, well, you'll fill hospitals. [00:04:12] Did they have that answer during AIDS with regard to bathhouses and gay men and intravenous drug users? [00:04:20] Of course not. [00:04:21] If you even mention it, you were called a homophobe. [00:04:25] Do they have it with regard to anything else? [00:04:30] The motorcyclists without helmets? [00:04:34] The obese who disproportionately have comorbidities? === Left and Right Have Nothing in Common (01:47) === [00:04:43] And who's to say they won't go after them? [00:04:45] Bloomberg, remember? [00:04:46] He wanted to, what was it, charge a tax for a large soda in New York City? [00:04:53] Or something to that effect. [00:04:54] Or ban the amount that they would sell to you? [00:05:02] It is a moral issue. [00:05:05] I can't tell anybody, though, don't have an income for your family. [00:05:09] It's not my place to do it. [00:05:12] I have an income. [00:05:14] There's a civil war in this country, and it may end up violent. [00:05:23] That's the first time I've ever said that. [00:05:25] I've said for 20 years this is civil war. [00:05:28] Left and right have nothing in common. [00:05:30] In fact, most on the left and most on the right would like to secede from each other. [00:05:34] I am among them. [00:05:36] I have nothing in common with leftists. [00:05:38] They are evil. [00:05:41] Liberals are weak, so they should go to the left-wing states. [00:05:44] It'd be interesting to see where most liberals would want to live. [00:05:46] It'd be very interesting if they would choose New York State or Florida. [00:05:53] Very, very interesting. [00:05:54] I hope they choose New York State because the more New Yorkers will go to Florida, the more it's ruined. [00:06:00] Like the more Californians who go to Arizona ruin that state. [00:06:06] It's amazing when people flee left-wing policies and then vote for them in the state they fled to. [00:06:13] You've got to admit that's precious. [00:06:16] That's the perfect word. [00:06:18] That's precious. [00:06:22] It's getting dark. [00:06:25] And this is only the beginning.
