Dennis Prager Show - How A Racial Hoax Is Killing America Aired: 2021-10-06 Duration: 07:04 === The I Can't Breathe Lie (04:21) === [00:00:00] What? [00:00:01] I say, isn't it correct? [00:00:03] The whole I can't breathe line. [00:00:06] Yeah, it's America that can't breathe. [00:00:08] You can't breathe if you challenge. [00:00:10] No, no, I'm sorry. [00:00:11] Wait, wait, wait. [00:00:12] Forgive me. [00:00:12] I made a mistake. [00:00:13] He did say I can't breathe. [00:00:14] I was talking about hands up, don't shoot. [00:00:16] That was made up. [00:00:18] That was made up. [00:00:19] It was invented by his accomplice. [00:00:21] Michael Brown had an accomplice in the strong-arm robbery, and he's the guy who volunteered it. [00:00:28] And they just accept. [00:00:31] If it's a criminal saying what you want him to say, you quote it like it's gospel. [00:00:37] It's sad what's happened to this country. [00:00:41] People, we're close to the end of our tether. [00:00:45] I don't know if we can survive this. [00:00:48] There isn't that much time. [00:00:50] And these people are ruthless. [00:00:53] This is right up your alley, Dennis. [00:00:55] Did you see that Biden just appointed a graduate of Moscow University who was there on a Lennon scholarship who just put her in control of our currency system? [00:01:10] It's up both. [00:01:12] It should be up the country's alley. [00:01:15] Nothing is shocking, though. [00:01:17] That's the tragedy. [00:01:18] Nothing is shocking. [00:01:20] Anyway, I want to make it clear what you do in this book is so important. [00:01:24] I mean, the George Floyd thing was not racist. [00:01:28] Listen, I know you know this, obviously. [00:01:30] You cited it in your book and on the show, and I've cited it. [00:01:33] But I never actually played what Keith Ellison, again, Attorney General, black, leftist, Attorney General of Minnesota, where I am right now. [00:01:45] And this is what he said. [00:01:47] What was it, 60 Minutes? [00:01:48] What did he say it on? [00:01:50] 60 Minutes, yeah. [00:01:51] 60 Minutes. [00:01:52] All right, here it goes. [00:01:53] Right after the trial. [00:01:55] Right after the trial. [00:01:59] I wouldn't call it that. [00:02:02] Because hate crimes are crimes where there's an explicit motive of bias. [00:02:08] We don't have any evidence that Derek Chauvin factored in. [00:02:13] George Floyd's race as he did what he did. [00:02:16] You could have charged him with a hate crime under Minnesota law, and you chose not to. [00:02:21] Could have, but we only charged those crimes that we had evidence that we could put in front of a jury to prove. [00:02:30] If we'd have had a witness that told us that Derek Chauvin made a racial reference, we might have charged him with a hate crime. [00:02:38] But I would have needed a witness to say that on the stand. [00:02:42] We didn't have it, so we didn't do it. [00:02:46] You know, Dennis, listening to this, I'm reminded of something that my mentor when I was a young leftist, Isaac Deutscher, told me. [00:02:55] He said, David, you have to understand the problem with politics is that people have a hard time adding two and two and getting four. [00:03:04] So he's the chief prosecutor. [00:03:07] Admitting that he has no evidence, not even a remark made in anger, that Derek Chauvin had any racial attitudes. [00:03:19] Yet, he prosecuted him for murder, also without evidence. [00:03:26] I don't recall during the trial one testimony that Derek Chauvin ever said he intended to kill. [00:03:36] George Floyd. [00:03:37] And, you know, personally, I think ingesting four times the lethal dose of fentanyl will do it without a knee on the neck. [00:03:47] And the knee wasn't, of course, on his jugular vein. [00:03:52] It wasn't on his windpipe. [00:03:54] It was on a blood vessel on the side of his neck, which would cause blood flow to stop to the brain and cause him to pass out. [00:04:03] And as I've been tried 247 times, I've been used that actual technique by the Minneapolis police force, and nobody ever died until George Floyd. === Reality Check (02:57) === [00:04:16] So, I mean, hoax isn't a strong enough word almost for these people. [00:04:23] Let me just point out, because I didn't finish my thought about Oprah Winfrey, who's become a racist in her old age. [00:04:33] She bought 26 billboards, one for every year of Breonna Taylor's life, called for the charging of the police officers. [00:04:45] There's only one charge. [00:04:46] You have a national lynch mob, which is what Black Lives Matter is. [00:04:51] There's only one charge, which is murder. [00:04:56] Here's the reality. [00:04:58] And she implied in her statements that... [00:05:01] As did everybody on the left, that Breonna Taylor was murdered in her home, in her bed, in her sleep. [00:05:12] She wasn't murdered. [00:05:14] She wasn't asleep. [00:05:16] She wasn't in bed. [00:05:19] Breonna Taylor was an accomplice to a major drug dealer. [00:05:23] There were five graves that night of the distribution centers for this drug dealer. [00:05:31] And that he was dealing with drugs that are spreading death in the black community. [00:05:35] That's what Breonna Taylor was up to. [00:05:38] She allowed her mailbox to be used as part of his distribution center. [00:05:45] She allowed her bank account to be used by this criminal to hide his criminal games. [00:05:53] And she has been doing this consistently for the last three years. [00:05:57] She even rented a car for him. [00:05:58] In which a dead person showed up. [00:06:03] And that wasn't enough of a warning to her. [00:06:06] I mean, we know that people do stupid things as matters of the heart. [00:06:11] But she had plenty of warning that this guy was a really bad guy and what he was doing was really bad for the black community. [00:06:18] And yet she's been... [00:06:20] When the cops appeared at the door... [00:06:24] They knocked. [00:06:25] They had a no-knock warrant, but they actually knocked and announced they were there. [00:06:29] It was 12.30 in the morning. [00:06:31] It's pitch black. [00:06:33] And she and her boyfriend got out of bed, and the boyfriend fired his weapon at the police, wounding one of them. [00:06:43] And, you know, the police, they have families they want to go home to. [00:06:46] So they have this saying, it's pray and spray. [00:06:52] In other words, you can't see anything. [00:06:53] You're being fired at. [00:06:55] You don't know how many weapons are aimed in your direction. [00:06:58] So you pray and spray. [00:07:01] Right. [00:07:01] That's the Breonna Taylor story. [00:07:03] We'll be back in a moment.
