So real quickly, I want to come back to you on this, Mercedes, because it seems so obvious with some of these lawmakers like Cori Bush.
If you're taking money away from defending police, yet you're spending a huge chunk of taxpayer money to keep you safe, personally, what does that tell voters?
Look, it's completely hypocritical, and the voters are saying you elite are choosing yourself and your political position over my safety and the safety of my family.
And that is clearly the message that the voters will be thinking about as we go into 2022. That has been created by the progressives.
A division that, in fact, does not objectively exist.
Relations between the vast majority of whites and the vast majority of blacks are perfectly fine.
There are no legal obstacles as well.
In addition to the relations being good, there are no legal obstacles to the advancement of anybody because of race.
Well, of course they are.
So that's one division in the country that has been created by progressives who live on the division.
If the country is united, even seeing the same national anthem, they are troubled because you can't destroy a society.
That has a degree of happiness and...
So there's another division that has arisen between the vaccinated and the non-vaccinated.
And many of you who are vaccinated accept this division.
That the non-vaccinated are ruining the country.
Fauci is the source of this one.
The man is truly a destructive force in America.
Truly.
When I saw him prevaricate with Rand Paul, it was a confirmation.
We have to support our police officers loudly, locally, give them the funding and the morale that they need.
He's bright in the sense of he has a fine brain.
But not in depth.
There is no depth to the man.
But he doesn't have to be deep.
He has to be whatever he wants to be.
And this is what you get in your streets and the Democrats have to own that and they have to fix it.
This is the division.
The mass and the unmasked.
The vaccinated and the non-vaccinated.
They're running out of time.
Kennedy, This is the new division in America.
The non-vaccinated are the source of the variant.
How does he know that?
There are no variants among the vaccinated?
In Israel, most of the people in the hospital now with the variant...
I've been vaccinated.
Anyway, if you're vaccinated, you can't have it both ways.
Vaccinated protects you, but the non-vaccinated are causing people to die.
If they're causing other non-vaccinated people to die, that is the responsibility of the non-vaccinated.
They have decided not to be vaccinated and taken the risk.
She spent $12 million on private security from 2015 to 2020. The list is so large that there are no therapeutics, there are no prophylactics for COVID. But there are.
So if some of these deputies lawmakers, if they really believe in that message, then they should take social workers and workforce trainees with them instead of armed private security.
Because Tommy's absolutely right.
The first thing people want to do is protect them.
By the way, this division is really something.
You are the misfortune.
And if Democrats aren't directly coming after people and taking their weapons from them, they're making it impossible to get ammo.
So you really can't protect yourself.
And this is a problem that is compounding every single month.
And no one really has a great solution right now.
Yeah, real quickly, Washington, D.C. Police Chief Robert Conte here.
We want to help people.
Yes, we should.
But you cannot coddle violent criminals.
You cannot.
You cannot treat violent criminals who are out here making communists unsafe for you for your loved ones.
They might not want a job.
They might not.
They might not need services.
What they may require is to be off of our streets because they're making it unsafe for us.
It was always phony.
I always said that a woman should be free to do what she wants with her own body.
I always called it a phony argument.
Even if you're an atheist, you should be able to.
Identify a phony argument.
It's not her body.
It's in her body.
It's another body.
But this is your body.
By the way, it's not just America.
France, unbelievable.
You can't go anywhere now.
Massive demonstrations, by the way, in England and in France, among other places, against these regulations.
Some people believe in freedom.
Others believe in safety.
Freedom, it's a nothing.
Health, uber alas.
I've said health liberales for 20 years broadcasting.
The fascist notion.
Health above all.
Just say health and you can do anything you want.
That's right.
What do you think the whole scare with regards to global warming is about?
Yes, the global warming.
And that basically deserves a big so what?
So all air condition the world.
Oh, my God, that answer, I'm sure this will show up on left-wing sites.
Right-wing talk show host says, air conditioning is the solution to warming.
It isn't?
How is it not exactly?
Isn't that what people do?
Isn't that the reason Arizona has a population?
Arizona would be the desert that it was, were it not for air conditioning.
I wish the people of Africa could have air conditioning.
Do you know that the coal use is up in China?
Up.
So while we're telling people, no longer can you drive the car you want, and I'm sure they'll regulate home temperatures.
I read to you article after article that they want you to do that.
In fact, you should not even be in a big house, in a house, let alone a big house, because you're using Too much of a carbon...
making too much of a carbon footprint.
I'll talk about that division among the Americans that are being created later.
Later.
Team USA, the basketball team, lost its first...
Official match.
It lost its prior match to Sweden.
It lost its first official match, 83-76 to France.
Now, because I have such contempt for the NBA, it's an anti-American institution, and a man I truly loathe is the coach of the team.
I'm actually, for the first time in my life, not rooting for an American team in the Olympics.
I hope the U.S. team loses every game.
Because Mike, Greg, excuse me, Greg Popovich, loudmouth pontificator who didn't care about his fans.
I mean, he's the only coach I spoke about as a lowlife.
I hope he loses every game.
And given the NBA's politicization of basketball, why would I root for this team?
I'm rooting for Guatemala.
I don't think they're in it.
Peru is in it?
I'm rooting for Peru.
There you go.
Greg Popovich.
Oh, my God.
Yep, indeed.
First loss in Olympics since 2004 versus Argentina.
This is the second consecutive loss against France after losing in the fiber.
What was that?
Something Basketball Association.
World Cup quarterfinals.
Huh.
Yes, indeed.
Greg Popovich.
God, I wish we could dig up some of my shows where I took on that guy.
I don't think it's recorded there.
Mitch McConnell has joined the crowd.
Warns that there could be a lockdown if more Americans don't get vaccinated.
Because lockdowns really work, don't they?
In France, the death rate, I think, in the last week is zero.
You know, they won't allow Taiwan to play as Taiwan at the Olympics because China is so powerful.
It's called the Chinese Taipei Olympic team.
It has no flag.
The Palestinians, however, who don't have a state, they have a flag.
Still a believer in world opinion?

But what we've seen with this open border crisis is, listen, the Democrat Party is trying to replenish their vote.
And they're trying to replenish their vote because there's something that I'm going to share with you at the bottom of the hour.
Trump did a really good job with Latinos, and I'm going to get into the numbers.
These are in-depth numbers that I'm going to read out to you.
And it makes you wonder what really happened during the election.
It really does.
It really does.
But here's what Democrats want to do.
All of this stuff is connected.
They try to throw us off, throw so many issues at us.
It may be the LGBTQ community.
The reason why they want to keep adding to the alphabet is because they want to keep...
They need more and more and more victims.
That's what it is.
That's all this is about.
The open borders that the left continues to ignore, it's about ushering in more victims.
More perpetual victims.
And I'm sorry to say it, black people, I just gotta be real with you.
We kill so many of our babies through abortion.
The Democrat Party is going to look for someone or a people group to replace you.
Whether it's transgenders, whether it's illegal aliens, that's just a fact.
I'm not trying to be mean.
Call me Uncle Tom, so I don't care.

Ken Paxton, I want to ask you about the border.
You just said to me off the air that two-thirds of our border with Mexico, two-thirds of our southern border is a Texan border.
Greg Abbott, the governor, it seems to me, under the strange administration that we are sort of having to deal with these days, he has made a decision to try to get the border wall built.
Because the federal government refuses to do the right thing by the American citizens who live in Texas.
How is that going?
What is that?
Is that a legal battle as well?
It hasn't been so far because we haven't actually started that process.
They're going to have to go into session and fund it.
I know that the Lieutenant Governor Dan Pratchett and I know that the Speaker, they feel involved.
We'll be right back.

Hi all, Dennis Prager with you.
Thank you.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
Alright, just checking here.
Okay, very good.
I want to see my schedule.
I am going to actually tweet this thing out.
Oh, incidentally, before I do this, are you rooting for the USA basketball team?
Give me a call.
Very curious.
Greg Popovich would be enough.
I feel bad, but they took the most left-wing voice among coaches in the NBA. The man is a contemptible, pompous ass.
And I can't stand the NBA as well.
So, why would I root for a team?
I don't know if they all do by any means, but I assume some of its members have contempt for the country whose letters are on their uniform.
Right?
So, I'm just curious if your rooting for the team is the lowest ratings ever for an Olympics, at least in the United States.
I feel bad for Japan.
I do, actually.
They really got...
A bum rap here with the COVID issue, and they're paranoid about COVID. In Japan, most of the people were prepared for the, I think, $20 billion loss and just not even have the Olympics at all.
Did you hear the thing that in the athletes' quarters, they have beds that cardboard, I think they are.
So that they cannot support the weight of two people.
Because athletes at the Olympics are well known as having extracurricular activities with other athletes.
It's actually funny.
So we don't want the athletes killing themselves with COVID because of intimate relations.
So we'll give them cardboard beds.
Well, when you start with absurdities, you end with absurdities.
How many young people are dying on this planet from COVID? Alright, anyway, are you ready?
This is truly something I will come up, I will talk about repeatedly.
I told you I read comments to articles, not just comments on my own columns.
Columns have comments, usually.
And I love reading them because that's the face of the world that reads that website, right?
So the New York Times has its readers, and they are virtually to a person cardboard cutouts of leftists.
It is a fascinating thing to read the comments.
Maureen Dowd, columnist, New York Times, had a hysterical piece on global warming.
It's over.
It's just over.
Death and mayhem.
Greenland is disappearing.
The Antarctic is disappearing.
Life on Earth as we know it is disappearing.
I've been hearing this since 1990, so it's now 30 years that everything is horrible.
In the meantime, by the way, I should just note to you a fact, but facts don't bother these people.
And that fact is noted by Bjorn Lomborg.
The Dane, who writes about these matters, fewer and fewer people die from climate-related natural disasters.
This is even true of 2021, despite breathless climate reporting.
Over the past hundred years, annual climate-related deaths have declined by more than 96%.
In the 1920s, the death count from climate-related disasters was 485,000 on average every year.
In the last full decade, it was 18,362, 96% lower.
But this doesn't matter to Maureen Dow.
None of this matters.
They live in this world of hysteria and lies, and they believe them, and so do their readers.
Now, are you ready?
Here it comes.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the comment of 2021, and I predict it will remain the comment.
Even though we are in only the beginning of the second half of 2021. This is from Sophia, July 4th, 2021. Comment on Maureen Dowd's column on global warming.
Sophia Bangor-Main.
I have one child, a daughter, who told me age 8 that she would never have a child.
Because of global warming.
That was a good one.
That was appropriate.
William is sitting in, actually standing in for Sean.
William doesn't sit.
I've never seen William seated.
Is it?
It's hemorrhoids?
I did not know that.
She's now 34 and has never changed her mind.
So I will not experience a grandchild for her wisdom.
I am grateful.
I would be heartsick if I did have a grandchild who would have to experience the onslaught of changing climate.
I feel very sorry for babies born this day, truly sad for what they will go through.
There is no desire on the Republican side to go against their masters, the oil gods, and the Dems are also beholden to that money.
Their greed for wealth and power will be the death of us.
Chill, Greta.
Greta, we adults who should know better have failed you.
I'm so sorry.
Greta knows the truth.
My daughter knew the truth at age eight.
A woman is happy that she will not have a grandchild because of global warming.
So now, This is a truly perfect response to the question, does the left believe their lies and their nonsense?
And the answer is, many do.
Many, many do.
This woman has been so brainwashed by the media, is so unaware of how many scientists write other things than the crap she hears on NPR and reads in the New York Times.
Completely oblivious.
Completely.
She's been brainwashed to believe that every dissenting voice to the hysteria is beholden to oil gods.
That she actually is happy not to have a grandchild.
A good chunk of this country is sick.
Just sick.
Yeah, getting a lot of calls here about not cheering for the U.S. basketball team.
It's what I suspected.
It's sad that that's what we've come to.
I hope they lose.
I hope Greg Popovich is held responsible for their losses.
He's a mean guy.
For me to say this about anybody by name, let alone a basketball coach, I must have true contempt for that man, and he's earned it.
So, Greg, a lot of your fellow Americans ain't rooting for you.

Goodness knows where they are.
We saw them deny what was taking place in their lab, and then we saw them, Mike, and this is important, export the virus.
They knew they had people who were sick.
They knew that that was a very contagious virus, and they knew that it was lethal.
And they said, hop on planes, travel the world, go to Milan, Italy, travel to Europe, and you can see now millions of dead all across America.
The Chinese Communist Party is evil, for sure.
They don't care about human life, and we've got to find a way collectively to hold them accountable.
But will they ever be accountable for this virus, Mr. Secretary?
Will China ever—I mean, we all acknowledge there's this massive cover-up.
Was it an effective enough cover-up that will prevent them from ever bearing or having any accountability for what happened?
It can't be the case.
It can't be the case.
It can't be what the Washington Post and New York Times did for a year, which was to cover for them, right?
When we were talking about where this came from, when we called it the Wuhan virus and they said, Mike, you're a racist.
We can't let them get away with us.

I've talked to people all over the world.
They know.
They know what happened.
They know who the Chinese Communist Party is.
I'm convinced they're going to demand that they're leaders.
And frankly, I hope that Americans will demand that President Biden use the tools that he has in his arsenal to hold the Chinese Communist Party accountable for the billions of dollars in wealth that was lost and for all the lives that were lost here in the United States as well.

Contradicted him.
Quote, I believe that there are some significant downsides to the kind of what is called strategic clarity that you lay out, Campbell said in talking to the Financial Times.
I think any conflict with China would broaden quickly and it would fundamentally trash the global economy in ways that I don't think anyone can predict.
Now that seems to me to be an invitation to the Chinese Communist Party to attack Taiwan.
Look, I don't know the spokesperson.

Elaine Parker is president.
Oh, president.
Madam President.
And chief communications officer.
We've spoken before, Elaine.
We have been.
Thank you for having me back.
Wait, were you president when we last spoke?
I think I was.
And I call you Elaine and not Madam President?
You do.
We're on a first name basis.
Okay, fine.
So you guys sued the, was it the NBA? Is that correct?
No, no, no.
Excuse me.
Major League Baseball.
Is that correct?
We did.
We sued Major League Baseball at the end of May.
We filed in New York Federal Court because of what the MLB did to Atlanta small businesses when they gave in to the lies and the misinformation about the Georgia voting law that actually makes it easy to vote and hard to cheat.
But the MLB, you know, they didn't let facts get in the way and they pulled the game out and they played it in Denver just a few weeks ago.
Is that suit proceeding?
The suit was actually dismissed by the judge in court based on standing.
So we lost on standing.
They didn't win on the marriage.
Wait, your standing meaning you were not directly affected?
We sued on behalf of small business owners and our members in Atlanta, and she basically decided that it was a, you know, the business owners in Denver got to benefit, and therefore the business owners in Atlanta didn't matter because it was a zero-sum game.
Somebody benefited.
I'm trying to assimilate.
Use those words.
I'm trying to digest that thinking.
So, it's like, I'm a murderer, and I am going to murder somebody either in Atlanta or Denver.
And therefore, it's okay.
Because I didn't murder anybody in Denver.
Is that not somewhat analogous?
That is a great analogy, actually.
Can I use that in the future?
Yes, please do.
It's spelled D-E-N-N-I-S. I'm fine.
They cut the city $100 million.
Yes, yes, I know.
It's so angering.
It's angering, and they hurt the very people that they were trying to help, because you're talking about Atlanta's 51% African-American majority, and you're looking at Denver that has less than 10%.
And so we had small business owners there that one of them owned a limo company.
He had been killed by the pandemic because, obviously, limos were going to get paid.
This followed the pandemic.
Oh, my God.
My heart breaks for this guy.
Yeah, and for him, he just said, you know, look, it's not political for me.
I was looking forward to getting my guys back to work.
And he said, and I'm not just worried about losing this event, but I'm worried about the reputation that is now sitting over Georgia.
That's a white supremacist state, sure, of course.
Absolutely, absolutely.
So it's a real shame.
And just because one judge found that we didn't have standing, it doesn't excuse what the MLB did.
It doesn't excuse what Stacey Abrams did or, frankly, the President of the United States weighing in on this and nearly encouraging the MLB to pull the game out.
And I want everybody to understand that the Job Creators Network is probably the most activist voice for small businesses in the United States of America.
Is that a fair statement?
Absolutely.
I mean, we're facing our small business owners.
Coming out of this pandemic, they're facing higher prices.
They're facing labor shortages.
They're facing the threat of higher taxes.
We run a poll every month, and last month our poll showed that more than 30% of small business owners in the country are very concerned about inflation, which follows right in line with all of America, because...
There's a Harvard Caps poll that was released last month that said 85% of Americans are concerned about inflation.
So people are paying attention to this.
The other 15% are in hospitals and emergency wards.
There is no possibility that we won't have inflation.
It defies...
We're printing trillions of dollars and there won't be inflation?
The dollar is becoming a joke.
Absolutely.
It's become monopoly money, and Joe Biden stood on the stage at that town hall last week, and if you can understand part of what he said, he basically said inflation's going to go away if we can just pass all these bills.
All right, what do people do?
There's a thing to get your information.
What would you like people to do?
Go to JobCreatorsNetwork.com, and they can join Job Creators.

Well, it's a time of sadness.
What I always say to people, you're allowed to feel sad.
There are many reasons to.
But you just have to fight or help the fighters.
I don't, as I've said, and I could say this every day, how I feel, people ask me, so are you optimistic or pessimistic?
What difference does it make?
By the way, both give you reason not to fight.
The pessimist thinks things will turn out lousy, why fight?
The optimist thinks things will turn out great, why fight?
So neither optimism nor pessimism is important to anybody but you.
All that matters is what you do.
And her grandfather is the reason.
Or a big reason.
I don't have to charge beaches with Nazi machine guns or Japanese machine guns.
I just have to help fighters or fight on my own.
Put out on my Facebook page articles that people should read.
People hate me for it.
So, fine.
It gives you an idea of the moral and intellectual caliber of those people.
Okay, let's see here.
Robert, Los Angeles.
Hello.
Yes, hi, Dennis.
Hi.
I have a question about the basketball.
I'm glad you brought it up because I've wanted to ask you this question several times.
So I agree with you about Popovich and the players, but in the past you've mentioned Wagner and how you were able to appreciate his music despite the fact that he was an anti-Semite and involved with the Nazis.
And I think you just mentioned the same thing in regard to conservatives and how some liberals won't read or listen to conservative artists because they're conservative.
You should be able to separate out the professionalism or the art from their views.
So I want to be able to watch the basketball games because I want to watch players perform in a sport that I love at the highest level and still have content for them after the game's over in their interviews.
Right, so here is where the analogy breaks down.
Wagner is dead, the NBA is not.
Herbert von Karajan, he was probably the greatest conductor in the late 20th century.
And he had been the chief musician under Hitler.
He was not an active Jew hater, but he...
He became what they called Kapelmeister under Hitler.
I never bought his records or went to his concerts when he came to America.
The day he died, I bought 50 von Karajan records.
It was before CDs.
And I listen to von Karajan conducting all the time now.
So their being dead is a big factor on engaging with them.

Ken Paxton, I want to ask you about the border.
You just said to me off the air that two-thirds of our border with Mexico, two-thirds of our southern border is a Texan border.
Greg Abbott, the governor, it seems to me, under the strange...
The administration that we are sort of having to deal with these days, he has made a decision to try to get the border wall built because the federal government refuses to do the right thing by the American citizens who live in Texas.
How is that going?
Is that a legal battle as well?
It hasn't been so far because we haven't actually started that process.
They're going to have to go into session and fund it.
They feel, I think, have all agreed that that is a good use of our dollars so that they're going to use $250 million.
They're also trying to raise private money because obviously that's not going to cover the rest of the wall.
But I'm hoping that over time we can make progress because I know just from talking to border agents, they believe that the wall makes a difference, certainly in places that they would suggest and with the type of construction that they would suggest.
It is very helpful to the Border Patrol to have these walls in place.
Well, it seems to me that the red states, so to speak, would probably be willing to help you fund that wall because you're doing this really on behalf of the whole country.
So I hope that that's something that somebody proposes.
I don't know how that's supposed to work.

*music* Hi everybody.
I like this one.
I like the melody and the beat.
I'm Dennis Prager.
So I asked you if you're rooting for the U.S. basketball team.
I haven't followed it enough to know.
I know the women's soccer team has been in the forefront of anti-American sentiments.
I don't know if they still are, so I don't have a position on that.
Maybe Patrick in Atlanta knows something about it.
Hi, Patrick.
Hey, yeah, the women's soccer team lost, but I don't watch them.
But the good news is, last night I was watching the Concafa Gold Cup, and USA was playing...
I'm sorry, the what gold cup?
Concafa.
It's a crazy name.
It stands for, like, Caribbean, Central America.
Oh, which was not part of the Olympics.
Right, right.
Okay.
And the Olympics are all amateurs.
So, anyway.
Well, theoretically, I mean, the basketball team, it's not true anymore.
But anyway, go on.
Anyway, so in the 85th minute, We scored, and we won the game 1-0.
And it was in Arlington, Texas.
I don't know what the attendance was, but the crowd went crazy with American flags, waving them all over the place.
I mean, it was...
Well, that's great to see.
It's giving me goosebumps right now.
Yes.
I love that stuff.
People are deaf to the importance of that.
Ritual...
Patriotism, symbols.
I'm just finishing my commentary on the Haggadah, that is the Jewish book used at the Passover Seder, so that people of all faiths can understand what's going on.
And I point out in the introduction, this ritual, 2,000 years old.
2,000!
It's a major reason the Jews survived for 2,000 years without their own homeland.
No ritual, no survival.
No Thanksgiving, no Christmas, no America.
Which is fine for the left, but not fine for me, or many of you, or the world.

These are in-depth numbers that I'm going to read out to you, and it makes you wonder what really happened during the election.
It really does.
It really does.
But here's what Democrats want to do.
All of this stuff is connected.
Like, they try to throw us off, throw so many issues at us.
It may be the LGBTQ community.
The reason why they want to keep adding to the alphabet is because they want to keep perpetual victims.
They need more and more and more victims.
That's what it is.
That's all this is about.
The open borders that the left continues to ignore?
It's about ushering in more victims, more perpetual victims.
And I'm sorry to say it, black people.
I just got to be real with you.
We kill so many of our babies through abortion.
The Democrat Party is going to look for someone or a people group to replace you.
Whether it's transgenders, whether it's illegal aliens, that's just a fact.
I'm not trying to be mean.
Call me Uncle Tom Seller.
I don't care.
I'm telling you the truth.
This is how the Democrat Party works.
This is a Marxist party.
This is a party that is hell-bent on power and they can care less about the people they supposedly serve.

A lot of feelings, actually.

This is going to be a highlighted news story.
It's not a news story.
It's a comment in the New York Times on another piece of mendacious hysteria about global warming.
And I think it's so important that I risk repeating something.
With some regularity by giving you this, I will even tweet it out.
For me to be moved to tweet, which is my fault, I should be tweeting almost every day.
Sophia in Bangor, Maine.
I have one child.
I won't read you the entire thing like I did the last time.
Just get this.
I have one child, a daughter, who told me at age 8 that she would never have a child because of global warming.
She's now 34 and has never changed her mind.
So I will not experience a grandchild.
For her wisdom, I am grateful.
I would be heartsick if I did have a grandchild who would have to experience the onslaught of changing climate.
A woman is celebrating not having a grandchild because of global warming.
The theme of that, there are so many themes in that.
One is, I always knew the power of media, but in the last year and a half, I've become Evermore aware of it.
The media can tell you anything.
And if they are unanimous, or nearly so, or it's the only media you follow, you will believe anything.
Anything.
You will believe men give birth.
You will believe it is good not to have a grandchild because they will die because of global warming.
Because of carbon emissions.
You will believe masks work, even outdoors, except in demonstrations for racial justice when they're not necessary.
The majority of people in any society will believe anything that the media tell them.
It's an incredibly frightening thought.
That is why they wish to shut down any medium that descents from the left-wing control of our media.
Can you think of anything the media has said that people, a majority, don't believe?
can you think of any you Russian collusion for two years.
A two-year lie.
People believed it.
Media stopped talking about it.
People stopped thinking about it.
That's it.
A woman is happy not to have a grandchild because of global warming.
She's a New York Times reader.
The woman has decided to hurt herself.
Has a daughter and doesn't want a grandchild.
Who?
If I told you that somebody was a mother of a daughter who did not want to give her a grandchild, you would, if you were normal, you would think how sad, you would even perhaps think how sick.
You don't want a grandchild?
The left makes you sick.
Sick in your soul, sick in your psyche, sick in your morality, sick.
Because they control the media and people are not prepared to hear a dissenting voice.
This is the comment of the year.
I would do anything to have Sophia of Bangor, Maine on the show.
Can't pay people to come on radio shows, if I'm not mistaken.
What if I offered money to her favorite charity?
What would her favorite charity be?
Probably Black Lives Matter.
Right?
It's inconceivable, right?
A woman who is happy not to have a grandchild, if I had to bet Will, who's standing in for Sean today, If I just had to bet Will, I would bet Will that she is a BLM supporter.
Daily COVID deaths in Sweden hit zero as other nations brace for more lockdowns.
Sweden isn't in the news much these days.
There's a reason for that.
This is from a website called Humans Are Free.
More than 100,000 people flooded streets in France.
This is true.
It's amazing.
And multiple COVID vaccination centers were vandalized as opposition grew to the government's most recent pandemic strategy.
In President Emmanuel Macron's latest incarnation of lockdowns, government officials have decreed that unvaccinated individuals will no longer be allowed to enter cafes, restaurants, theaters, public transportation, and more.
See, the communists did it, the communists created a dictatorship in the name of the working class.
The Nazis did it in the name of race.
And the West is doing it in the name of health.
If you see a difference, I don't.
Because I don't judge motives, I judge behavior.
They're creating truly a division.
People cannot decide whether or not to have a medicine.
And by the way, why do you care if somebody else has it?
If you're vaccinated, why do you care if the next guy isn't?
Oh, well, the vaccine doesn't always work.
Well, it's quite a vaccine.
France's approach is unique, but it's one of many countries around the world.
Remember, you still have that, Will, the New Zealand Prime Minister?
All truth comes from the government.
Those are her words.
All truth.
It's at moments like this that I'm pained that somehow all 300 million plus Americans Can't hear what I'm saying.
Because half the country has never heard anything like this.
Anything.
You are allowed to suppress liberty.
The Nazis had a reason.
The fascists in Italy had a reason.
The communists in East Europe and Russia had a reason.
And now the West has a reason.
Their reasons were despicable.
But the behavior is getting similar.
This Macron is a gem here, I'll tell you.
Well Australia's recent...
Australia's gone out of its mind.
I don't know who's weirder, Australia or Canada.
English-speaking countries are crazy.
Australia's recent restrictions have placed half the country under strict lockdown.
It's happening now.
Even though a record 82,000 tests had identified 111 new coronavirus cases.
There's a lockdown.
You got the Prime Minister?
This is the Prime Minister of New Zealand last week.
Alright, we've got to get rid of this early part.
This is the question.
Okay, here we go.
...messages, remember that unless you hear it from us...
It is not the truth.
Okay, that's it.
Unless you hear it from us, it is not the truth.
Did not fascist and communist regimes say the exact same thing?
Unless you hear it from us, it is not the truth.
Pravda, the Soviet communist newspaper, means truth.
That's the Russian word for truth.
The other major paper was Izvestia.
There was a joke in Russia in the Soviet Union.
Izvestia means news.
It was a great, great joke.
Dissidents.
Soviet dissident humor is the best humor I've ever known.
There's no Pravda in Izvestia, and there's no Izvestia in Pravda.
That's exactly correct.
There was no news in truth, and there was no truth in the news.

We are living in the age of surveillance capitalism.
That's the title of a book by Shoshana Zuboff, whose thinking has shaped my own as we look on the growing power of big tech.
The biggest flaw in most tech companies' business models is a general willingness to loot an individual's personal information, and thus his or her privacy without payment for this data and without informed consent.
Did you know that a small percentage of apps provide your consent to remotely turn on your phone's microphone and record you after you sign their terms and conditions?
I imagine your response is like mine.
What?
I'd never agree to that.
I am certain a hard line on personal privacy would have a greater appeal to the public than many other issues currently separating the parties.
Watch that vast uncharted space in which party moves to restore data that has been taken and to repair walls of privacy that were breached long ago.
Whoever gets there first will be a long-term winner.
I'm Hugh Hewitt.

And high school kids.

Music by Ben Thede I'm Dennis Prager.
Yes.
What I said earlier, people will believe anything the media tells them.
It's one of the most important points I've made in my career.
Can you name anything that the media told people that has not been widely believed?
And the amazing thing, it's unquestioning.
From men give birth to the two-year lie about Russian collusion with the Trump campaign, and of course global warming to the extent that this woman writes she doesn't want a grandchild.
There was a story, there was that story, about all these women who are not having children.
Because they don't want to bring them into a world of global warming?
People walk through life knowing that they personally are not racist?
They're told they're racist by the media and they believe it?
Yeah, I'm racist.
The country is racist.
Really?

If you're a white, have your interactions with black confirmed that?
With blacks confirmed that?
But the media told it to you.
Combined with schools, then that's it.
There is no other truth.
The motto of the New Zealand Prime Minister.
What were those words?
I need to memorize them.
Unless you hear it from us, it's not the truth.
Correct?
Those are her words.
Send me that file, would you?
I'd like to put that up to Will.
No, no, no, no.
Send it to me.

Right, okay, I memorized it.
Unless you hear it from us, it is not...
I'll drop the uh.
It is not the truth.
You know why she had an uh, by the way?
Play that again, because I think this is interesting.
I have a theory.
Right.
Do you know when people do um...
Well, they're lying.
It's when...
I won't go that far.
It's when they are about to say something that is hard to believe.
Let's put it that way.
It was really, will I say this?
That was what the um was about.
Now, most people do um because they're not used to speaking fluently.
I mean, I have that with guests.
I have that with callers.
It's a totally normal thing.
But in this case, it was clearly, I'm about to say something unbelievable.
Should I say it?
The brain works very fast in certain moments, as you well know.
If it didn't, we'd probably all be dead.
We avert accidents because of the speed of the brain and so on.
Unless you hear it from us, it is not the truth.
And guess what?
Most New Zealanders agree.
That's amazing, isn't it?
Especially well-educated New Zealanders.
You are taught not to question authority.
That's the irony.
The only authority you're to question are parents and religion.
You are not to question authority that...
That is what the left teaches you.
And New Zealand is a left-wing country.
Unless you hear it from us, it is not the truth.

They're a farce.

Misinformation.

Well, it's a very big lesson.
Thank you.
Yes, my screener just had a grandchild.
So she put on my screen here.
She's the one who puts your names and subjects down.
The best thing in the world is a grandchild.
Three exclamation points.
Not everybody is blessed with a grandchild, and you can have a very fulfilling life.
I have two grandchildren, and I am grateful to God for that fact.
But not everybody has children, not everybody has grandchildren, but to want not to have a grandchild.
That's different.
That's the issue here.
That is what has been done.
To people, by the media and by the schooling.
The seven-day rolling average for COVID deaths in Sweden was zero.
It's been zero for a week now.
Sweden's overall mortality rate was lower than most of Europe.
I know people write to me, well, Dennis, be honest, because it was higher than Denmark, Finland, and Norway.
Is that the only criterion?
There are big differences.
I had a Swedish doctor on telling me the differences.
Like the urbanization of Sweden, the number of immigrants in Sweden.
Anyway, virtually all the deaths in Sweden were in nursing homes.
Virtually everyone.
That's a tragedy, but one has to keep in perspective what we're talking about here.
All their kids went to school all year until the age of 16. Not one kid died, and I don't believe one teacher died of COVID. With kids going to school and not masked.
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Sweden on many grounds, but I thank God for Sweden to have provided the test that we needed for the acceptance of lockdown.
And why did people accept lockdown?
Unless you hear it from us.
It is not the truth.
I think I got a picture of those useless signs that are up on...
Los Angeles freeways, California freeways.
At a great expense, they were put up and they're useless.
But anyway, the messages were, save a life.

Wear a mask.
That's it.
Reminded me of the signs in the Soviet Union.
Forward to communism.
Enough signs.
And even in a free society, you have a captive audience. - Training now on the Charlie you have a captive audience. - Training now on the Charlie Kirk Show. - And fundamentally, everything Ben Domenech said was Brandy Love is not a conservative.
If he needs to sit down and really talk about the philosophy of what it means to be a conservative, I'd love to help him.
But it's so foolish.
And to put the honest on you guys to say, like, as a student action summit, you need to let in porn stars.
Did he defend the teacher that was let in at school who taught pornography to the first graders?
Is that the big tent that he's looking for?
We fight this stuff in the education system.
Students need to be protected from this stuff.
Totally.
And you made the absolute right call.
Thank you.
Yeah, thank you.
We're getting mostly positive feedback, I have to say, and thank you for that.
So you shouldn't have let Tommy Lahren speak after she enjoys Bruce Jenner?
Or maybe to debate her ideas.
I think we should allow a forum to debate, you know, and stuff like that.
But I don't like people saying that they're conservative and like, but I support abortion and I support Bruce Jenner for governor.
It's like, what are you talking about?
And it's this idea of like calibrating the programming to reflect what we want to present to these kids, right?
Right.
And some people are like, well, what are you, cancel culture?
So what do you say to that if we're like, are we engaging in cancel culture now?
It's not cancel culture.
You have a response.
These are students.
And this is so bizarre to me.
If this was the RNC, I would be totally fine.
I think we do need to allow people, if they're on their path to conservatism, I was on a path.
I was on a journey.
I was once pro-choice.
I was once a liberal.
And of course, you want these doors to be open to people that are on their journey and wanting to learn things.
This has always been marketed as an event that is for students that follows a conservative program.
But teach them conservative philosophies.
I think the question should be asked is, what was Brendi Love doing here?
Why did she want to be a VIP at a student event?
And clearly, she's doing a lot of this for attention.
And by the way, to refer to you guys as worse than Antifa?
Like, are you kidding me?
That theatrics really gets me so mad.

Gaining their freedom, but I am also saying at the same time that we have got to stay focused on our border.
It is unbelievable what's happening there.
And here's the problem.
And I'll say it like this, and some people will probably criticize me.
How I see Joe Biden is I see him like a squatter in the White House that won't pay the bills because he quit paying for the funding down at the border.
He quit paying for the wall, which isn't—he's not paying for the maintenance and the gates that open and shut, and he is not paying for the security down there.
It's unreal to me, and it's just like somebody squatting in the White House and not paying the bills.

It was dangerous at the point of inflection at the point of decision where we could have managed this in a way that had reduced risk to the world.
The world health organization failed and it's, you know, you had one job.
They had one mission, one mission to stop pandemics from flowing across the world.
They muffed it, they choked it, and the world is worse off for it.
So I'm glad Dr. Tedros now sees that we may well have been right about this virus's origination.
I'm saddened by the fact that I don't think the WHO has any capability of stopping the next pandemic.
Mike Pompeo is now chairman of Champion American Values, PAC, a great organization that is spreading conservatism.
And boy, we need it now more than ever.
You talk about the state of the world.
How about the state of America under President Biden going in a very different direction, a decidedly different approach from the Trump administration?
How bad does it get for America?
It depends.
It depends how quickly we take the rope away from him and we shorten his runway.
We'll see you next time.
All right, everybody.
Dennis Prager here.
And during fundraising month, today's the first day.
It's not August 1st.
We chose August because my birthday is August 2nd.
So I will be here on that day.
Then I go to Hungary to give some lectures.
So because I will be gone for a week, we are starting a week early asking you to help Prager you almost each day that month.
A highlight.
Is a member of Prager Force.
Prager Force, 15,000 young people, high school and college.
We have Caitlin Ide, I-D-E, 19 years old, at Texas Women's University, or Women's University.
Is that correct?
Yes, it is.
Welcome to my show.
Thank you.
I'm glad to be here.
So tell me about Texas Women's University.
I've never heard of a, quote, women's university.
So it's actually a very liberal school over in Denton, Texas.
They focus a lot on liberal arts and women's studies as well as some nursing programs.
As well as some what programs?
Nursing.
Oh, nursing.
So they focus on...
Women's studies a lot.
Why did you choose to go there?
It's a cheaper option, actually.
I didn't know what I wanted to do.
It was the only college I applied to.
My father's side of the family wants our family to go to college, and so I figured, you know, cheapest option.
Yeah, no, I always say, I always tell parents, send your kids to the cheapest place you can.
So, you follow that advice.
Did you enter, what year are you, are you a rising sophomore, what are you?
I'm a sophomore, yep.
Not rising, however?
Nope.
Oh, you mean because classes have begun already?
They're going to be starting August 23rd, I think.
Okay.
So did you enter TWU, a conservative?
I actually, yes, I did.
I thought that I could go through unscathed, if you will.
God, the very fact that you used the term unscathed tells me that, I'm just curious, were you homeschooled?
I never was, actually.
I went to public school throughout my entire life.
Where did you learn the word unscathed?
From my stepfather.
He's very conservative.
I knew it.
I knew it.
I wonder what percentage of your graduating class from high school knows what the word unscathed means, let alone uses it in normal conversations.
Are there any other conservative girls slash women at your university?
Believe it or not, there is.
We have a Catholic center over there, and that's actually where I found a lot of women that go to my school who have very similar beliefs to me.
Really?
So what do you guys do in women's studies classes when you're told what victims you are?
There's not much you can do.
I've heard stories, Mr. Prager, of...
Girls that would go in with my kind of like conservative values and Just going in for women's psychology there was one friend of mine who went in and they were talking about abortion But when she asked that they would be covering the pro-life side she was sent out of the classroom They're not subtle No,
not at all I don't even understand.
On what grounds was she sent out of the classroom?
I mean, in my point of view, none.
But their point of view?
Just for asking a question on if they would be covering something conservative, I suppose.
It's mind-boggling.
It is.
So why are you majoring in nursing?
I'm actually going for English teaching.
Oh, my God.
English departments are like gender studies departments.
Oh, for sure not that.
No, no, no.
They are.
They're as bad as that.
Anyway, when we come back, I just want to quickly ask you about PragerU.

Perpetual victims.
They need more and more victims.
That's what it is.
That's all this is about.
The open borders that the left continues to ignore.
It's about ushering in more victims.
More perpetual victims.
Call me Uncle Tom, so I don't care.
I'm telling you the truth.
This is how the Democrat Party works.
This is a Marxist party.
This is a party that is hell-bent on power and they can care less about the people they supposedly serve.
We'll see you next time.
All right.
A couple of moments here more with this wonderful young woman whom I never met, Caitlin Eide, 19 years old, a Prager 4 student.
Prager Force is the Young People's Group, 15,000 all over the world.
She's at Texas Women's University, where she has thus far been unscathed, to use her term.
Thank your stepfather.
Caitlin?
Is Caitlyn there?
Is she in queue?
Are you with me?
Hmm.
I don't know what happened.
That is odd.
The red bar is up.
And...
I don't know, maybe Leslie will have to call her back.
So it would seem...
Because that's not working.
Anyway, Caitlin Eide is 19. She's a member of Prager Forest.
This is the fundraising month, so we have young people on almost every day.
And I get a lot of great feedback.
How could they not get great feedback when you meet these articulate young people who believe in good values, who have not been scathed, as it were?
Caitlin, are we back?
Yep, we're back.
I wonder what happened.
Did you think, you didn't hang up, did you?
No, sir.
Yeah, well, I was curious.
Even if you did, it would be fine.
You might have thought, you know, I went for a break and it was over.
So quickly, tell me what your connection and how you found PragerU.
So, I found PragerU through the Daily Wire, through Ben Shapiro, actually.
Well, it's a good way to find us.
Go on.
And I started watching specifically my favorite show and hosts, Will and Amala.
They're terrific.
That's right.
They are.
Oh, that's wonderful.
Do you watch the weekly videos or mostly Will and Amala?
I watch mainly Will and Amala since they're almost daily throughout the week.
Right.
Although I do sometimes, I sometimes watch Fireside Chat, and I've looked into the short, like, five-minute videos for some information on certain topics.
Do you share them with other young people?
I haven't yet, but it's mainly because I struggle to find people that are in the same conservative community.
And if you shared them with a non-conservative, would they, you think, even watch it?
I'm afraid not.
That's my main fear.
That's how deep the indoctrination is.
Actually, my view is if one out of ten watches it, we have a real chance.
The data we get is that...
It does change minds.
The videos do change minds.
So, you know, give it a try.
Are you Catholic?
I am.
So is it a Newman Center?
Are they still called Newman Centers, the Catholic places and colleges?
We call it like a college.
It's part of the college campus.
It's right near UNT. University of North Texas.
So I suppose it could be called that.
But it's not officially called Newman Center.
I wonder if they still have those things.
Do you go to Mass each week?
Yes, I do.
That's great.
I just think that's great.
What do you do during Lent?
What do you deprive yourself of?
So these past few years, I've done no social media.
And then I did a thing this year called Fiat 40, where it's just you cut back on a lot of different things.
Do you know that somebody once called, a Catholic called my show once and said, Dennis, I just want you to know I enjoy you so much that during Lent I will not be listening to you.
That's definitely a difficult thing to give up.
You are a joy.
Caitlin, I hope we meet.
I hope so.
That would be fantastic.
Well, thank you.
You're terrific.
All right.
Help PragerU.
It's fundraising month.
PragerU.com 833 PragerU.
I'll never forget that caller.
And I thought, wait a minute.
It's truly...
Okay, so you enjoy me.
Otherwise, you wouldn't listen.
I get that.
But I... I shouldn't be in the realm of, like, cake.
I'll give up sweets for Lent.
It was a precious moment.
Caitlin even found it funny.
Okay.
Not funny stuff.
Did you hear this?
They played at the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics that few people are watching.
They played.
This is from the New York Post.
John Lennon's Imagine, sung by a large children's choir and a bevy of celebrities.
It gives you an idea of the values that are now common around the world.
Imagine is among the dumbest, most frightening songs of the last half century.
I should read to you all or most of the lyrics, but here's an example.
Imagine there's no heaven.
It's easy if you try.
No hell below us.
Above us, only sky.
Imagine all the people living for today.
I have to say that when I imagine no heaven and no hell, I imagine the following.
That we live in a...
Permanently unjust universe.
Hitler doesn't go to hell, and Mother Teresa doesn't go to heaven.
That's really a beautiful thing to imagine, isn't it?
The good are not rewarded, those who suffer the loss of a child will never see the child, and the evil have no punishment.
And that's what a children's choir sang.
At the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics.
1-8 Prager 776 Ken
Paxton, I want to ask you about the border.

53 shot, 7 fatally since Friday night in Chicago.
53 shot, 7 of them are dead over the weekend in Chicago.
A teenage boy was killed and another person was seriously wounded in a shooting Saturday.
South Peoria Street.
Someone opened fire.
Chicago police worked the scene.
That's a picture.
53 people shot.
Man was shot and killed as he stood in front of a 24-hour convenience store Saturday evening on a busy street in Chatham.
I don't know how it's pronounced on the south side.
Chatham.
You're not even from Chicago.
Right?
About 8.15 p.m., Theodore Smith standing outside a store on the 500 block of East 79th Street when someone walked up to him with a gun and shot him in the chest.
A 44-year-old man was rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The man was an employee of the store smoking a cigarette when he was shot.
Here, just hand it to me.
Cleveland police investigating 12 shootings, 3 homicides in 72 hours.
You know what the left says?
It's because of guns.
Virtually everything, well let's put it this way, everything the left says that differs from the right is wrong.
Everything.
They're always wrong.
I don't understand why they're not like right half the time.
But they're not.
They're always wrong.
It's a world of lies.
They believe what they want to believe.
We don't blame these evil human beings who are doing this.
We don't blame the fact that it is in the inner city overwhelmingly black kids, black males, young black males doing this havoc, this murder, these thefts, these mass thefts.
We don't want to acknowledge it.
And if we do, it's because of systemic racism.
It's not their fault.
Isn't that amazing?
It's not their fault.
You walk up to a man and shoot him dead, it's not your fault.
It's the gun manufacturers and systemic racism if you're black.
And you know what?
Half of America believes that.
Like the woman who's happy she's not having a grandchild because of global warming.
These are people who believe everything the media and their college told them.
Everything.

Totalitarian regimes are very fragile.
Since 1959, the Castro regime, and even after his death, that of our old Castro and now the police state down there, have survived only because of terror and brutality and communist oppression.
It is one of the three last...
There's no real communist regimes in the world.
Colombia does.
I mean, Venezuela does not count.
It's a gangster regime.
Maduro is just a gangster.
But Cuba is a communist regime.
North Korea is a communist regime.
China is a communist regime.
And if Cuba falls, Venezuela will fall to freedom.
And the people of Cuba have had it.
There is no health care.
There is no medicine.
There is no attempt to stop the virus.
There is nothing except guns.
And the number and millions of courageous Cubans who are marching.
President Biden, it's your tear down this wall in this moment.
You go down there, encourage the Cuban government to step back and provide them with a villa on the beach somewhere if they want to leave.
Members of the administration go down and reiterate the message, no violence against the Cuban people.
Take to Twitter, where is the left?
Everyone should be covering this.
This has not happened since the 90s, where the Cuban people have rallied and just said, anaf, mon omas, omas.

You've been also really involved in working against human trafficking.
Part of the evil of having an open border is that women and children suffer horrific sexual abuse as a result.
How has that affected you as an AG? What are the kinds of things that you can do to combat that?
Tremendously frustrating to me because we were already combating human trafficking as a major problem in Texas.
We have the second most human trafficking in any state and country.
Obviously, we have the second biggest population.
But the cartels are getting such an advantage now because Border Patrol is so busy doing logistics for all the people that they're housing.
They don't have the manpower to stop all of the human trafficking, the drug smuggling.
And so that doesn't just affect Texas.
That's going to affect the entire nation.
And as the cartels maintain their control, because remember, just about everybody that crosses the border has to make a payment to the cartels for that transportation.
So if they can't cover that cost, cartels have control over them as they move around the country and as they get placed in various parts of the country, which we're not being told where they're being put.
All of that will affect the country over a long term, and we're going to see more human trafficking, we're seeing more drugs, and it's based on the cartels having freedom to do almost whatever they want now.
It seems to me that the folks in today's Democratic Party, which is closer to Stalin than to Walter Mondale, they really have abdicated their central role as guardians, as defenders of the nation.

Congresswoman Green, it's all connected.
I need to talk about COVID, coronavirus, masks, and big tech.
Share with us what happened to you just a few days ago on Twitter.
Well, Monday I was banned from Twitter for 12 hours for tweeting about COVID-19, saying that military members, many of them, don't want to take the vaccine, and I was saying they shouldn't be forced to take it.
I believe that people should be able to take it if they want or not take it if they don't want to.
It just shouldn't be a mandate, and people shouldn't be discriminated against if they don't want to take the vaccine or wear a mask.
Discrimination is wrong, and it shouldn't be happening.
Twitter didn't like me talking about COVID-19 and saying that language.
Twitter also didn't like me saying that on the CDC website, it was reported that thousands of people have died.
As a result of the vaccine.
It's over 12,000 now, and that's on the CDC website.
So this is clearly something that they need to investigate these deaths.
And the fact that this administration, it's not just big tech doing that to you and cancelling President Trump, but we now have admissions from the White House.
They're going to work with cell phone providers to censor text messages.
What is the GOP response?
What are we going to do with big tech and big tech colluding with Big Brother in the White House?
Yeah, this is a very serious issue.
These are private companies that are enjoying the protection of Section 230.
They should never have had this protection in the first place.
It needs to be completely stripped away.
They should not be protected.
No cell phone company, no data provider.
There should be no company providing people's private text messages to the government.

All right, everybody.
I am about to speak to somebody who is in the category of needs no introduction.
I got to think of the initials of that.
Needs no NNI.
Is it definitely an NNI?
Ben Shapiro.
But you should know he's co-founder of the Daily Wire, which I not only read, but I actually have a paid subscription to.
I believe in supporting these things.
He's host of the Ben Shapiro podcast.
He's also this year's PragerU's commencement speaker, taking on Woke Incorporated.
And tomorrow, his latest book, which of course I have purchased, is The Authoritarian Moment, How the Left Weaponized America's Institutions Against Dissent.
The Authoritarian Moment.
Ben Shapiro, great to talk to you.
Hey, great to talk to you, Ben.
I just really appreciate the purchases.
I used to say that I used to thank people for helping put my kids to the college.
I'm less and less saying I'm putting my kids in college at all.
I'll just thank you for the money.
That's a good one.
I pretty much understand your position on that.
Anyway, how old are your kids?
They're 7, 5, and 1. Oh my god.
That is one lively house, Ben.
Hey, I got a big question before your book.
You left California.
We were essentially neighbors for years, you know, within 25 minutes of one another in L.A. You moved to Florida, a free country from a totalitarian one.
How does it feel?
It is the best move ever.
Dennis, I've been trying to convince you for a long time that you are committing an act of grave immorality by paying taxes to the California state government.
And let me just tell you, this state is spectacular.
And there's a reason why.
Half of the people that I was friends with in California have already tried to buy places here, skyrocketing real estate over here.
It's not an irrational, crazy place.
It's not a place where people feel that it is somehow morally required of them to live worse lifestyles in order to please some sort of pagan god of equity.
And it's pretty fantastic.
People are walking around with masks after they're vaccinated, for example.
And we also pay zero state income tax and have better public services than California.
And it doesn't make a better or more pure human being to have people shooting heroin into their feet outside my home.
It's pretty great.
You know, things that I took for granted when I was a kid and that disappeared over the course of time in California are still very much present in Florida.
What if they elect a Democrat?
Well, then I'll have to go to Alabama or something.
No, no, no.
It's a very fair answer, but how much would it change?
I don't think that it would radically change in the sense that this is, well, was a very purple state.
So even when there were Democrats, like Charlie Crist was, I believe, a Republican at that point.
He was governor.
They've had Democratic governors in the past.
This last election cycle with DeSantis and Gilman was extremely close.
I think the defense is going to walk away with it this time.
I think he's going to win by four or five points going away.
The state has gotten significantly more red over the past several years.
Donald Trump won this state by about 100,000 votes in 2016. He won it by almost half a million votes in 2020. And that's because a lot of people are seeking a place that is not like the rest of the country, that still has a lot of cosmopolitan feel, because Miami's a big city, Fort Lauderdale's a big city, Orlando's a big city, and all those resources are available.
We don't get along all the baggage.
So a lot of people, like, this is also one of the things people in Texas are worried about.
So in California, Texas and all of that, the people who are moving out of California, typically speaking, are much more red than the general population of California.
And the same is for New York and Connecticut.
When people decamp to Florida, they're doing so generally for a reason.
So not to make it blue?
No.
I think that there was a study recently that came out that showed that Florida's emigrant community Actually, it made the state about 1% more red over the course of the last three years.
Wow.
So your book, The Authoritarian Moment, which is almost depressing to even say the title of your book, that we're living in an authoritarian moment in the United States of America.
By the way, again, folks, it's up at DennisPrager.com, and anything Ben writes is just obligatory reading.
And as I said, I've just purchased it myself.
By the way, do you read the Audible?
Yeah, I do.
So this will be the only Audible that I won't increase the speed on.
Exactly.
You don't need a two-time speed on the Audible.
No, no.
Not even 1.3.
So, I'm curious, do you think the authoritarian moment applies to the whole West?
I do think that it is unique to the United States.
I think you're starting to see, in some cases, a sort of pullback from it in Europe.
I think that when you see members of the French government, for example, saying, don't bring that wool crap over here, and when you see Eastern Europe, which has become significantly more right-wing and is rejecting a lot of the social authoritarianism we're seeing, I do think that it's uniquely American, and it is, I think, It's odd, because normally the United States tends to pick up bad ideologies from Europe, but this is when we're actually exporting Europe, which is kind of the unique thing historically.
Would you have written the authoritarian moment 15 years ago?
No.
No.
I mean, I think that there were other problems in the country 15 years ago.
But when I talk about how we're living in this sort of authoritarian moment, I don't mean that the government of the United States is fully authoritarian, controlling every aspect of our lives.
I think that we're living in a time when our fellow Americans are increasingly embracing a sort of authoritarian mindset.
And not only that, I think that they've mainstreamed that and inline that into institutions of power.
I start off the book by talking about the kind of myth of January 6th that's been created in the mainstream media, which is that January 6th was not a bunch of idiots and morons and people who were misguided invading the Capitol building to do harm to people because law enforcement was not there and staffed up in appropriate numbers.
Within a few hours, everybody had been arrested, and life went on as normal.
The left treated that as though that was indicative of risk to democracy on a serious level, that we were five minutes away from the entire democracy being overthrown, and therefore all of their opponents need to be silenced.
I think that January 6th is a really good Rorschach test, where you think the authoritarian threat is coming from.
Is the authoritarian threat coming from, you know...
People who are misguided, misinformed, and idiotic doing things with no institutional support, or is the authoritarian threat coming from major institutions of power, which in response to January 6th decided to, for example, de-platform parlor, or pressure social media companies into talking Donald Trump and banning quote-unquote misinformation, or companies that were forced to...
Relocate their activities from red states and defund Republican politicians or educational systems that have crammed down particular points of view on students.
The thing that I'm pointing to in the authoritarian moment is that all the major institutions of our society have been weaponized against people who think not like the mainstream left.
And this is a serious danger.
It's a real danger because that only ends one of two ways, governmentally.
One is that...
That exact perspective gets mirrored in the government, in which case the government does become more authoritarian.
And the other is that there's a really ugly backlash that is not classically liberal in any serious way, and I don't think any of that is good for the future of the country.
That's right.
So everything has been weaponized.
So I think, for example, of the NBA, right?
Is that a fair example?
Or Major League Baseball pulling the All-Star game out of Georgia?
Exactly.
So, every single area that the book does, it goes chapter by chapter, picks a different institution, and it explains not only that it has been weaponized, but how it has been weaponized.
And so, if you're looking at entertainment, the attempt to take neutral spaces, and then politicize those spaces, and then declare that if you refuse to go along with the politicization, it is you who, you are somehow morally derelict.
If you turn off the NBA because you don't wish to see black lives Matter slogan festooning the court.
All you want to do is watch basketball.
This means, of course, that you are implicitly racist, and it is you who are the problem.
You morally lack.
When you look at the institutions ranging from the perversion of science, the scientific institutions of our country, to the media, which obviously has been re-normalized, what we've been watching over the period of time is a very small group of very mobilized and aggressive radicals who basically cowed the rest of the country into silence.
And this is where I think the hope lies is that there will be a majority that eventually stands up and says no, but what the studies tend to show is that all it takes in order to quote-unquote re-normalize an institution is about 20% of the population of any institution aggressively insisting that its point of view be listened to.
Most people are conflict-averse, and so if they're in the middle, or if they don't really have a strong perspective, they tend to just cave to that 20%.
And you can see it in institution after institution.
Like, where exactly?
We're the NBA owners when all this is happening.
And some of those NBA owners, by the way, I'm sure are conservative.
Where were the NBA owners saying, you know what, I think that we'd be better off not, for example, turning the NBA into a political product?
Well, the answer is that they were too busy caving to the Players Association and too busy caving to the media to do anything.
You see this with mainstream corporations.
I think a lot of, particularly in the last couple of years, a lot of conservatives have been shocked.
All right, we'll continue, Ben, with the corporations.
I want to remind everybody, and I'm sure you'll be happy I do, as you should be, because it's another wonderful book.
And it is The Authoritarian Moment by Ben Shapiro, up at DennisPrager.com.
It's being published tomorrow.

So first and foremost, it's inappropriate because this is a summit that's for students.
And high school kids.
And high school kids.
And if these parents are giving their children permission to go to this conference, they're expecting that you're not going to have porn stars walking around.
You have conservatives that defended this.
Ben Domenech, Meghan McCain's husband, who runs The Federalist, because I guess she writes The Federalist.
And he says this thing, which got me so angry.
Conservatives, she's a wonderful conservative.
No, she's not a conservative.
She might be a libertarian.
She might be a Republican.
She might be a nationalist.
She's not a conservative.
The word conservative, it has meaning.
It has meaning, okay?
So the same way that wood cannot be water and water cannot be wood, a full frontal pornographic actress cannot be a conservative.

I can tell you that this is the greatest country that God has ever given man because this nation has given me second and third chances.
I was literally arrested, went to jail.
I needed to serve probation.
I was thinking I would go and serve probation.
I got an opportunity to serve probation at a local church here in Orlando, Faith Assembly of God.
And I came in contact with this white guy by the name of Jim Angelakis.
This is hard to get through, I can't lie.
Because I'm so tired of people calling and saying that people are, white people are inherently racist.
I didn't grow up around a lot of whites, except on the weekends when I went to church.
But I can tell you what God did is amazing.
So I go to serve probation at this church.
And this guy, Jim Angelakis, comes out.
Hey, how you doing?
Talks to me about serving, community service, what I'm going to do around the church and all this, and says, can I pray with you?
And I'm like, okay, I guess.

I was about to say, this is the only radio show, I mean, I've known this for a long time, Dennis, I've never mentioned you on the bumper music before, but I was literally about to say that this is the only radio show where you come back and break to Mars.
That's a new one.
That's correct.
Sometimes, Ben?
I feel like I am on Mars, or let's put it this way, much of my fellow Americans and others.
So Ben Shapiro has just published, actually literally tomorrow it comes out, and it is the authoritarian moment, which unfortunately we are living in now.
The left has weaponized America's institutions against dissent.
You were talking...
We were talking about sports, then you were going to the corporations.
I'll go to the corporations in a moment.
I'd just like you to react to something I tell my audience on almost a daily basis.
There is no example, and if you differ, you know it's totally a non-issue, differ.
But I don't know, and this has been my field, oddly enough, the left, since graduate school.
I don't know of an example of the left, not liberals, but of the left taking power in any country or in any institutions and allowing dissent.
Yeah, it's very difficult for me to come off the point.
I can't come off the point.
Okay.
That's very important for people to understand.
All right, Todd, so go to corporations.
So I think that conservatives, because corporations...
Operate off the profit motive.
They believe that the corporations were congenitally predisposed toward being conservative, right?
They have to preserve the profit motive.
All they care about is making money, so they allow the woke to sort of take over the place.
That mistakes what corporations essentially are, which are risk mitigation machines.
So there are people at the top of corporations who initially take the risk to create the business, but then, once the business is running, they have to mitigate risk.
And there's risks from without and risks...
From within.
And so if you are a corporate head, take the risk from without first.
What you want to avoid is the media blowing back on you and making you an issue and taking your stock price.
You don't want to be in a headline.
And so if you have a woke left inside your company who's leaking to the New York Times, you have a couple of choices.
You can either please the woke left and then it never becomes a national issue, or you can fight the woke left, in which case you end up being on the front pages of the New York Times.
And that has some pretty significant downstream facts because the left is not tolerant when it comes to consumption of product.
There's a study from Harvard Business School recently where they took a poll of people across the political spectrum that opinions on a generic corporation that they made up.
The corporation is called Jones Corp.
If people perceived that Jones Corp was apolitical, it ranked pretty highly.
People said, probably a pretty good corporation.
If people thought it was liberal, it ranked exactly the same as if it was thought apolitical.
If it ranks conservative, it dropped 30% in the approval ratings, all from people on the left, who said this corporation is no longer worthy of my business because it doesn't think like me.
And so if you're a corporate head and you know that there's this intransigent minority of consumers and of staffers who can damage your business by that much, what you end up doing is basically just conceiving to them, particularly if they take it incrementally, if they don't ask to take over all the auspices of the corporation.
All they want is just a little diversity training.
All they really want is Robin DiAngelo to lecture you on your whiteness.
All they really want is to make sure that you have a scholarship fund for particular races of people, but not other races of people.
Corporate heads will say, okay, well, you know what?
I'd rather be on the side of the angels and maintain my position than have to go to war with people inside my own company.
And you can see this play out in real life.
I mean, there was a company called Coinbase recently in Silicon Valley where the head of the company, to his great credit, put out a statement to his employees saying, I don't want anybody at the company.
Talking politics on our internal Slack channel.
Because all it does is create conflict.
And 60 of his employees quit.
60 of his employees said, that's not woke enough.
That's not appropriate.
You're telling me that my politics are offensive?
I'm leaving.
And it became a national story.
It was covered in the New York Times, etc.
So, unless you are a corporate head with the wherewithal to just say no to these folks, you tend to cave.
And corporations are not famous for their courage.
That's an amazing story you just told.
I did not know of it.
What was the name of the company?
The company's called Coinbase.
And to the credit of the guy who ran the guy named Brian Anderson, he stepped by it.
So what has happened?
Is Coinbase hurting financially as a result of this position?
Nope.
Now they're fine.
Because they actually probably got rid of the bus.
Alright, so wait a minute.
So the fact is, they're risk-averse, but they may be paranoid.
Yes.
So this is correct.
And Dennis, you know this because of the advertising business, right?
Every time you trend on Twitter...
Everybody's afraid that advertisers are going to pull their money.
I mean, I have this issue on my show as well.
And the reality is the number of people who actively carry through things like boycott is very, very well.
But everybody is so risk-averse that they're scared of their own shadow.
All it would take is some corporate head saying, listen, we advertise on a wide variety of programming tickets for all of this to end.
But again, that would take a little bit of wherewithal and a little courage.
Right.
So the issue really isn't, I'm going to hurt my company.
It's, I'm pretty much a coward.
Yes.
I mean, I think that's exactly the issue.
I think corporate cowardice is endemic.
And I think that that sort of cowardice carries, you know, all the way across the spectrum.
I think that that's true in sports also.
I mean, it was the NBA that you mentioned that was basically telling Daryl Morey, the GM of the Houston Rockets, that he wasn't allowed to tweet about freeing Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, the NBA is explaining to Americans how racist and terrible we are.
So, what happened in Cleveland?
The vast majority of people in Cleveland did not want the Indian's name dropped.
It's 105 years old.
It's a tradition.
If nothing else, it does zero in terms of insulting the Native American.
It honors them.
They're Indians.
What was the thinking of the president of the Cleveland Indians to drop the name?
I mean, I think that the thinking was simply, I'm going to get credit from the left, and I don't want them coming after me every season.
What's amazing about that, by the way, is that the Indians supposedly were named after a Native American player named Louis Sock Alexis.
because the team was originally called the Cleveland Spiders, and then between 1866 and 1869, they had a player named Louis Sackle Alexis, who was Native American and was pretty popular, when people started calling the team Indian, and then when they sought to rename the team, that sort of came up again.
But they thought that they were going to get a win from the left.
There's no such thing as a win from the left.
They're just avoiding the temporary loss.
What the left is doing right now is just the perfect, perfect example of the old Winston Churchill line, that these are people who are feeding the alligator, hoping they're going to leave them last.
And I think that's exactly what you see here.
There's no mass outcry.
But Dennis, I think the key point in all of this is that it is the changing line that is the point.
People on the right, we spend all of our time trying to say, what's the through line to what the left wants?
What exactly are they shooting for?
And the answer is there is no through line.
You're fond of saying that untruth is sort of an element of the left, but they don't care about truth.
But it's not just that they don't care about truth.
It's that standards must be malleable because then they can force you to abide by whatever standard it is today.
The standards literally change on a dime.
And if you're not in consonance with those standards, you'll be forced to atone.
It's this constantly shifting definition of what's right and what's wrong and what allows you to get off the hook.
And you have to constantly be going and bringing sacrifices to sort of the pagan gods of the radical left here in order to keep them off your case.
And so it really operates more like a philosophical cult than it does like any sort of coherent political philosophy.
All right, let's do one more segment.
I mean, obviously we could talk for hours, and we have.
Ben Shapiro, co-founder of The Daily Wire.
Book is coming out tomorrow, The Authoritarian Moment.
We'll be back.
I'm Dennis Prager.

I believe that people should be able to take it if they want.
Or not take it if they don't want to.
It just shouldn't be a mandate.
And people shouldn't be discriminated against if they don't want to take the vaccine or wear a mask.
Discrimination is wrong and it shouldn't be happening.
Twitter didn't like me talking about COVID-19 and saying that language.
Twitter also didn't like me saying that on the CDC website it was reported that thousands of people have died.

We are living in the age of surveillance capitalism.
That's the title of a book by Shoshana Zuboff.
Whose thinking has shaped my own as we look on the growing power of big tech.
The biggest flaw in most tech companies' business models is a general willingness to loot an individual's personal information, and thus his or her privacy, without payment for this data and without informed consent.
Did you know that a small percentage of apps provide your consent to remotely turn on your phone's microphone and record you after you sign their terms and conditions?
I imagine your response is like mine.
What?
I'd never agree to that.
I am certain a hard line on personal privacy would have a greater appeal to the public than many other issues currently separating the party.
Watch that vast uncharted space in which party moves to restore data that has been taken and to repair walls of privacy that were breached long ago.
Whoever gets there first will be a long-term winner.

Anyway, we certainly collaborate ideologically.
Between the Daily Wire and PragerU and the shows that we do, we're trying to fight, and we do fight.
That's, of course, the issue.
Ben's book is very important.
It comes out tomorrow, The Authoritarian Moment, How the Left Weaponized America's Institutions Against Dissent.
So I take it, as we have this final segment together today, I take it that your read is that they win because there's a lack of courage on the part of those who differ.
Yes.
That's right.
I mean, there's just a bunch of people who are in the middle who either don't know what's going on, don't want to know what's going on, or are risk-averse and conflict-averse.
And you can see that.
And so what I say in the book is that the future of the country, as much as I'd love to say it's in, you know, the hands of conservatives, and we have to remain strong and vocal, the future of the country is going to be on people who are either apolitical or people who consider themselves mainstream liberal but not hardcore left.
And, you know, that's, you know, an open question.
I think there are a lot of people who consider themselves, you know, democratic voters who may not be up for the wokeness, who may not be interested in the predations of the radical left.
I want to just emphasize to my listeners,
many of whom don't understand or actually differ with me in my adamant You do not believe in defunding police.
You do not believe in all black dormitories and all black graduations.
You do not believe that Israel is an apartheid state.
I mean, at what point does the liberal finally say the left is the danger, not the right?
This is exactly it.
It's a distinction, I believe, I actually adopted from you between liberal and left because I think that it's so important.
I mean, over at Daily Wire, we sell leftist tears somewhere.
So it's a liberal tear somewhere, and that's because I rejected that.
I don't think that liberal tears are worth drinking.
I think leftist tears are worth drinking only because of the threat that they pose for the nation.
But I think that I have a lot of friends who are liberal, and the way I distinguish between liberal and left, they're liberals who disagree with me on taxes, and leftists want me to be shut down and want to destroy my business and want to control every aspect of my life.
Those are not the same thing.
Are you a sports fan?
What have you done?
I have no idea what you'll answer, and I'm just curious.
So what have you done?
Can you watch MLB right now?
So, last year, particularly, when they were super woke, I didn't watch a single game.
So I was an MLB TV subscriber last year, and I just stopped subscribing to MLB.com.
This year, they moved away from it, and so I resubscribed.
And that's sort of the attitude that I've taken with a lot of these sorts of businesses.
If they wish to draw closer to wokeness, then I will not engage with the business.
And if they draw away from it, then I'm happy to engage with the business.
If they go back to woking it up, then I'll stop watching baseball, as much as I love baseball.
Will the NFL be hurt by having the quote-unquote black national anthem played every game?
Yes.
I mean, I think the way they're avoiding that is by not playing it on the telecast, probably.
And they'll just hope that they get to have their cake and eat it, too.
They get to have the wokes cheer them on for doing it, but they don't actually have to show it to the general public.
They did this with the Super Bowl last year.
I was at the Super Bowl last year.
They had much more sort of left-leaning material before the Super Bowl, which just never appeared.
Mm-hmm.
Fascinating.

I'm glad I made this distinction and that people like Ben Shapiro are running with it, between left and liberal.
If we don't win liberals, we lose.
It's a very hard battle, however.
They have been brainwashed into thinking the right is the enemy.
So the left gives them examples.
They make up stuff.
Oh, of course the right is the enemy.
Look at January 6th.
So it's built into an insurrection.
It's an insurrection.
People posing for selfies in the Capitol.
I condemned it the moment, literally the moment.
I could play it for you by condemnation of what happened.
It was not only wrong, it was stupid.
But it was not an insurrection.
It was incomparably less.
Frightening to the country, threatening to the country, than what the left had been doing for a year and a half.
BLM is an infinitely greater threat to the country than the January 6th people who went into the Capitol.
The 1619 Project is a much greater threat to America than January 6th.
The woman who designed this whole thing for the New York Times came out last week with the statement that blacks in Cuba have it better than blacks in America.
Which not only shows you her ignorance and the ignorance of the left generally of evil.
They truly don't confront evil.
But it shows you that They don't cherish freedom.
It's as simple as that.
If you believe a black in Cuba has it better than a black in America, what you're saying is freedom is not important.
You're also saying freedom is not important to blacks, which strikes me as the quintessence of racism.
Yes, indeed.

We're up to 12, and 70 have been shot.
This is getting to be a regular occurrence on the weekends, because we had 11 shots the previous weekend.
So I'm curious, if you're crackpot Mayor Rannigan, would she win?
Yeah, I think so.
Because we have people that just don't care.
I mean, we also have the governor, too.
There's so many Democrats in this state, and one of your guys, as you know, Dan Proft, he points out, because I listen to him every morning on WIND, And he says, we have no Republican Party in Chicago.
By the way, do you know I'm going to be on with Dan Proft in a couple of weeks in Chicago at Cigar Night?
Yeah, I know you have a Cigar Night.
Unfortunately, I do not smoke and don't like to be around smoke.
Oh, you don't like to be around smoke?
I understand that.
That's fine.
I really do.
If you don't like to be around smoke, you don't want to come to Cigar Night with Dan Proft at me.
But for the rest of you who don't care, I mean, a lot of women come to this too.
I don't know.
It might be sold out already.
I don't know.
But he just reminded me by saying that.
So I will be in Chicago.
That's after Hungary.
I'm going to Hungary next week.
Ben Shapiro mentioned East Europe.
And I have been a fan of Eastern Europe now for years.
When I spoke in Romania, this is all...
They watch stuff that I do, they listen, and this is a wonderful thing that I'm seeing happening.
It's not coincidental that I'm going to Hungary next week or that I spoke in Romania three years ago.
I'll never forget, there was a very dramatic moment in one of my speeches in Romania where somebody got up and said something about Western Europe.
And they're worried about Western Europe ceasing to embrace Western values.
I said, that's correct.
So don't look to Western Europe.
Maybe Eastern Europe will save the West.
And they were so, it was an amazing moment, I mean, any speaker does, you read your audience, it was an amazing moment for them to realize, wow, yeah!
Maybe it won't be France that saves the West.
Maybe Romania will.
Maybe Hungary will.
Maybe the Czech Republic will.
And Slovakia and Bulgaria.
Maybe.
Or Poland.
President Trump gave one of his greatest speeches in Warsaw about the need to preserve Western civilization.
Got a great reaction in Warsaw.
You wouldn't get a great reaction in Berlin.
Anyway, just have to follow my motto.
Germany is always wrong.
Sad.
That's right, my friends.
Once you realize this is a big deal, life is a struggle.
Once you know that, and it's hard to know that because life in America has been, since World War II, so easy for so many.
But you know life is a struggle and family life and so on and sometimes economic life.
Life is a struggle.
Embrace it.
It's a very important thing to realize.
America's worth fighting for.
Back in a moment. Back in a moment.
And fundamentally, everything Ben Dominich said was incorrect.
Brandy Love is not a conservative.
We're getting mostly positive.
Feedback, I have to say, and thank you for that.
So you shouldn't have let Tommy Lahren speak after she enjoys Bruce Jenner?
Or maybe to debate her ideas.
I think we should allow a forum to debate, you know, and stuff like that.
But I don't like people saying that they're conservative and, like, but I support abortion and I support Bruce Jenner for governor.
It's like, what are you talking about?
And it's this idea of, like, calibrating the programming to reflect what we want to present to these kids, right?
And some people are like, well, what do you cancel culture?
So what do you say to that if we're like, are we engaging in cancel culture now?
It's not cancel culture.
You have a response.
These are students.
And this is so bizarre to me.
If this was the RNC, I would be totally fine.
I think we do need to allow people, if they're on their path to conservatism, I was on a path.
I was on a journey.
I was once pro-choice.
I was once a liberal.
And, of course, you want these doors to be open to people that are on their journey and wanting to learn things.
This has always been marketed as an event that is for students, that follows a conservative program.
And by the way, to refer to you guys as worse than Antifa?
Like, are you kidding me?
me and that theatrics really gets me so mad.

He quit paying for the wall, which isn't he's not paying for the maintenance and the gates that open and shut.
And he is not paying for the security down there.
It's unreal to me, and it's just like somebody squatting in the White House and not paying the bills.

Trending now on the Mike Deliger Show.
That was dangerous.
Hi, everybody. everybody.
Dennis Prager. - Sure.
I began the show, and I will end the show, with this amazing, revealing comment in the New York Times by a commenter on another lying piece of hysteria about the existential threat of global warming by Maureen Dowd.
This was an epiphany for me, reading this comment by this woman, Sophia, in Bangor, Maine, July 24th.
A woman does not want a grandchild because of global warming.
People with children, one of the most natural instincts, natural, is to want a child through your child.
It is about as universal an instinct as exists among the human species.
Thanks to the media, this woman's natural instinct to yearn for a grandchild has been suppressed.
That is the power of brainwash.
I can't think of a better example.
It's not Trump derangement syndrome.
It's left-wing derangement syndrome.
In this regard, this woman is deranged.
Not wanting a grandchild because of global warming is a function of being deranged.
The left is deranged, and it is contagious, far more than COVID, even more than the Delta variant.
The power of the media is such that whatever they say, at least half of our population believes, unquestioningly.
