Dennis Prager Show - Gun Violence is UP, Democrats Blame the GUNS Aired: 2021-07-07 Duration: 09:58 === Heat Deaths Halved (07:47) === [00:00:01] And this is New York. [00:00:04] Is this, no, this is gun violence archive. [00:00:08] Is it deaths or is it gun violence? [00:00:12] And 40, New York. [00:00:14] 75, the Washington, Baltimore area. [00:00:17] 41, Georgia. [00:00:19] 3, Florida. [00:00:21] 19, I'm looking at a map that doesn't have the names of the states. [00:00:25] That's 41 in the, I guess, Houston area. [00:00:29] 22 in the LA area, 121 in the Chicago area, and then it is blamed on guns. [00:00:41] One of the least intelligent of our politicians, he's not only corrupt, he's not intelligent, is Governor Cuomo of New York State. [00:00:55] The man who has blood on his hands, and I never talk like that, with regard to nursing home deaths in New York. [00:01:05] And he's telling us the issue is guns. [00:01:09] Isn't that amazing? [00:01:11] People are murdering people, and the issue is guns. [00:01:14] Not the people who murder. [00:01:17] Why doesn't that alone have you leave the Democratic Party? [00:01:21] Is there a single Democrat who differs with Andrew Cuomo? [00:01:28] Publicly, at any rate? [00:01:30] I don't mean your brother-in-law who's a Democrat. [00:01:33] I mean Democratic politician. [00:01:35] Is there a Democratic newspaper? [00:01:38] Because that's what the New York Times and the others are. [00:01:41] They're functionaries of the Democratic Party. [00:01:46] Does any of them, do any of them differ? [00:01:51] We bathe in lies. [00:01:53] That's what we do. [00:01:54] And we're drowning in them. [00:01:57] It's guns. [00:01:59] That's it. [00:01:59] But weren't there guns two years ago? [00:02:03] And three and four and five and six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, et cetera, years ago? [00:02:09] So it's clearly not guns that has changed, is it? [00:02:13] Something else must have changed. [00:02:16] Isn't that elementary? [00:02:17] You can explain what I just said to a ten-year-old. [00:02:20] And the 10-year-old would fully understand it. [00:02:27] What has changed is that, A, there is a belief that you can get away with anything with the Democrats in control, and that's largely true. [00:02:38] Not entirely, but largely. [00:02:40] Certainly other acts of violence, especially theft, even on a massive level. [00:02:47] I'll talk about that later. [00:02:50] About what's happening in San Francisco. [00:02:53] Everywhere the left governs, things are shattered. [00:02:58] But people still vote. [00:03:02] The vote that people tender, that is hurtful to themselves, that is harmful to themselves, is a phenomenon. [00:03:19] But it is not unique to the United States. [00:03:22] There are people who vote for the Sandinistas in Nicaragua, right? [00:03:29] There are people who vote for communists. [00:03:31] There are people who vote for fascists. [00:03:33] There are people who vote for Islamic terrorists who ruin their own country, not only who ruin others. [00:03:44] So why would they not vote for the Democrats? [00:03:51] And when you have an entire media that supports it, it becomes very hard to fight that. [00:04:01] So it is guns. [00:04:02] So, let's see. [00:04:05] Media Matters. [00:04:07] I want to dedicate the following to Media Matters, a left-wing site that lies for a living. [00:04:15] Literally, they lie for a living. [00:04:18] Their purpose is to lie. [00:04:21] And something called the Democratic Underground, because they publicized my show, and I want to thank them for it. [00:04:27] Because I read to you from USA Today, a well-known right-wing newspaper, an article by Bjorn Lomberg, president of the Copenhagen Consensus, a visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford. [00:04:49] So I dedicate it to you. [00:04:51] I hope you put this up as well, because it only proves my point that you have no interest in what is true. [00:04:57] You only have interest in power. [00:05:00] And if you have to lie, you lie. [00:05:04] So they put this up as if it's nonsense. [00:05:07] What is the it? [00:05:10] Yes. [00:05:11] A landmark study in nature climate change made headlines around the world. [00:05:16] Rising temperatures from global warming increase the number of heat deaths, but the study left out glaring truths that even its own authors have abundantly documented. [00:05:29] Heat deaths are declining in countries with good data, likely because of ever more air conditioning. [00:05:39] This is abundantly clear in the United States. [00:05:42] Which has seen increasing hot days since 1960, affecting a much greater population. [00:05:50] There's no denial of global warming here, is there? [00:05:55] Yet the number of heat deaths has more than halved. [00:05:59] Get that? [00:06:01] As the globe has gotten hotter, in countries with responsible data, the number of deaths from heat has been cut in half. [00:06:11] They are such liars on the left that they believe their lies. [00:06:17] I have asked this my whole life. [00:06:18] Do you believe your lies? [00:06:20] Most of them do. [00:06:22] And they're like Stepford leftists. [00:06:27] They never ask, gee, is that true or what is the evidence? [00:06:32] They just reassert it's not true. [00:06:36] But it is true. [00:06:40] Heat deaths have declined as temperatures have risen. [00:06:44] There you go. [00:06:46] The number of heat deaths has more than halved. [00:06:49] So while global warming could result in more deaths, technological development in, for instance, America, is actually resulting in fewer heat deaths. [00:07:00] More important, cold deaths vastly outweigh heat deaths worldwide. [00:07:05] This is not just true for cold countries like Canada. [00:07:09] But warmer countries like the United States, Spain, Brazil, even India, cold deaths outweigh heat deaths by 7 to 1. Globally, about 1.7 million deaths are caused by cold a year, more than five times the number of heat deaths. [00:07:28] Okay, just thought I would share that with you. [00:07:31] I will do this regularly, and trust that you will put it up there. === Antifa Beat Up Protesters (02:23) === [00:07:35] At Media Matters and Democratic Underground. [00:07:39] So, hi there, guys! [00:07:41] You have been fooled by whoever you rely on to supply stuff. [00:07:47] You have egg on your face. [00:07:49] Because what I wrote came from USA Today, from a very well-respected man of scholarship. [00:07:59] And it is, most important, true. [00:08:05] A dirty word on the left. [00:08:09] All right, dedicated to you guys. [00:08:13] I saw more video of the protest in front of that spa. [00:08:16] Do you understand the world in which we live? [00:08:20] You know Antifa beat people up? [00:08:22] Did you see that? [00:08:24] Antifa beat people up who don't think that a man's genitalia should be shown to girls. [00:08:33] Antifa is a purely evil organization. [00:08:37] They're also cowards. [00:08:39] They go fully masked. [00:08:41] They don't want to be seen beating up women. [00:08:44] They were beating up a woman. [00:08:49] Antifa. [00:08:50] I would be so curious to know how many of these Antifa members grew up with a father in their life. [00:08:58] And I'm sure zero grew up. [00:09:02] With a regular church or synagogue attendance, Antifa is the product of pathology, as was the Nazi party in Germany, though they didn't have fathers missing, to the best of my knowledge. [00:09:27] They had other pathologies in Germany. [00:09:31] But that's what they remind me of, Antifa. [00:09:34] The Nazi thugs who beat people up with whom they differed. [00:09:38] But imagine that. [00:09:40] They beat up a woman who doesn't think that girls should see a man's penis. [00:09:46] I mean, think about that. [00:09:48] What we have come to. [00:09:50] Has one left-wing newspaper condemned Antifa for doing this? [00:09:55] L.A. Times? [00:09:57] New York Times?
