Time Text
well hello everybody in a good July 4th weekend in Independence Day of the greatest country humans ever invented.
And humans are determined to destroy it.
That has always been the nature of things.
The mediocrities want to destroy the good.
It is a rule of history.
That's the way it works.
Give me an example of a mediocrity wanting to destroy the good.
Amber Heard, who I have as much interest in as you do in medieval Bulgarian architecture.
No offense to the architects of medieval Bulgaria, but I don't think you're interested as a rule.
However, I am interested in the voices that are heard by young people, and I assume actors and actresses, if one is permitted to say that term, those who identify as actors or actresses, to be woke, that these people have wrought great damage, and they are worthy of attention.
She's getting pregnant, needless to say, without a husband, and went further.
She made a comment that was actually pithy in its anarchy.
You don't need a ring to have a crib.
She has a baby.
She already has the baby?
Okay, so it's not only that she's had the baby without a husband.
It's that she is recommending it to society.
Send me that piece because she has a whole host of thoughts that she has on this issue.
And that this is a new way of doing things that she believes is a really positive thing.
She is the fruit of feminism and other forms of leftism which find the nuclear family to be a white supremacist idea.
Amber shared the first photo of her daughter.
This is from Cafe Mom.
Are you familiar with that?
Amber Heard says women don't need a ring to have a crib as she shares surprise baby news.
This is definitely unexpected news from Amber Heard!
Exclamation point.
Is this read by young folk?
The youngins?
In an emotional...
Hey, by the way, did I even mention my name?
Wow.
All right.
I'll give you multiple choice.
This is Sean McConnell.
This is Alan Estrin.
This is Dennis Prager.
A, B, or C. I will announce it later.
In an emotional Instagram post she shared on Thursday, Amber announced she has a baby girl and she made it clear that she wants people to know that it's not necessary to be married or even be in a relationship to make their dreams of being a parent come true.
That's right.
You have to understand all, all leftism, all progressivism is narcissism.
That is the root of it all.
I want baby.
Society is irrelevant.
The baby's welfare is irrelevant.
Me want baby.
Who was the vice president who made a big deal about it on that famous TV show?
Dan Quayle.
And what was the show?
Murphy Brown.
Murphy Brown.
Who had a baby out of wedlock.
And he condemned it.
And the man was roasted and toasted.
What year would that be?
To give you an idea of how long this is going on, the breaking down of the pillars of society.
Late 80s.
In the photo, Amber is laying in bed.
They don't know how to write, of course.
She's lying in bed.
She may be laying, but that's not our business.
Cradling her sleeping baby girl.
She named her daughter Unag Page Herd.
Unag.
O-O-N-A-G-H. She was born April 8th, 2021. Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child.
I wanted to do it on my own terms.
Yes!
This woman is...
If I had to write a script for...
The essence of what is happening, it would be Amber Heard's comments.
I wanted to do it on my terms.
Screw society and its moral norms.
Think I give a damn if my child has a father?
Of course not.
I do it on my terms.
And she is, of course, celebrated.
My wife tells me that there were vast numbers of congratulatory Twitter reactions, tweets.
Listen to more of our mediocrity taking down what is great.
I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way.
I hope we arrive at a point in which it's normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.
Oh, it is normalized!
So not only did I have a baby without a father for the baby, It's a great thing that I did it.
That is perfect progressive thinking.
Not only am I tearing down the Judeo-Christian and middle class and bourgeois norms of society, it is a good thing that I'm doing it.
That's right.
A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone's business.
I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this.
She's the beginning of the rest of my life.
And then the piece goes on.
This is not Amber Heard.
Cafe Mom.
This is so sweet.
And it's clear that this new celebrity mom couldn't be happier.
To be on this journey into parenthood.
Oh, it is so sweet.
That's the word for it.
Okay.
A professor at University of Pennsylvania Law School.
What was the woman's name?
We had her on the show, in fact.
She wrote a piece with another professor of law.
That the best values are the bourgeois middle-class values, which essentially are work hard, graduate high school, get a job, Amy Wax, get a job, get married before you have a child, and you will be on the road to a successful life.
Fellow law professors wrote a letter condemning her.
It originated in that cesspool known as the university.
The intellectual and moral cesspool that it is.
And yet you will spend a fortune to have your child poisoned intellectually, morally.
And in just about every other way.
It is a unique phenomenon in history of the world that people spend fortunes of their hard-earned money to have their child alienated from their most precious values.
And there you go.
Lucky daughter of Amber Heard.
Her mom was proud.
Not to have a ring.
Hey, you got that song that I had yesterday, Sean?
A 1961 song?
We'll play it later.

Close quote.
His name is Ime Yudoka.
He is from Nigeria, played in the NBA, and was an assistant coach and worked his way up.
And Jay Williams congratulated him as the Boston Celtics, quote, first head coach of color, end of quote.
Sigh.
You ever heard of Bill Russell?
He was the first black head coach in the NBA anywhere.
Coach from 1966 to 69, won two titles, by the way.
A guy named Tom Sanders served as a coach for the Celtics, also a black man.
Casey Jones, from 83 to 88, won two titles.
Oh, ML Carr, 95 to 97. Doc Rivers led the Celtics to an NBA championship.
So outside of Doc Rivers, ML Carr, Casey Jones, Tom Sanders, and Bill Russell, he's right.
First black, I mean, how do you go on TV and say that?
How do you do that?
He is paid to cover.

I'm sure this cafe mom is filled with progressives so proud of Amber Heard announcing that you don't need a ring to have a crib.
See, the fact of the matter is that the feminist line from the 60s, a woman without a man is like a fish without a bicycle, is their attitude.
We might need their sperm, but outside of that, we really don't need them.
And that's what's being taught.
It's worked out really well, not having rings, but only having cribs.
In the inner-city community, correct?
In black life, where nearly 80% of children are born without a married mother.
It's worked out well.
It's worked out well, for that matter, in the white and Hispanic communities as well, where the numbers are always increasing.
Yeah, who needs a dad?
Those old-fashioned fools lived before us.
Those white supremacist values that a child should have a father.
I did a whole talk on that for PragerU, by the way.
What was the title?
Who Needs Fathers?
Our Father's Necessary.
Delivered by Dennis Prager.
No.
Nothing's necessary.
Just love.
She loves her daughter.
I don't know if it's that loving, however, not to provide and to boast about not providing a father.
Not only did I not have a father for this child, it's not necessary and it's a good thing.
We need to normalize it.
Okay?
How many rabbis, priests, or ministers will offer a sermon about this?
This is not politics.
Interesting.
Now, I really do have a question.
What do most rabbis, priests, ministers actually talk about and then wonder why their church or synagogue is emptier and emptier?
Reading New York Times editorials or chanting the words of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, that's one of my favorite COVID years.
We're not going to do it.
So it gets to you.
I won't.
Why would I want to get to you, even though you are a living martyr?
So don't put it on, Sean.
But you've heard the recording of a rabbi in New Jersey who, instead of chanting, The words of the prophets chanted the words of Ruth Bader Ginsburg in the same melody that one would chant the words of the prophets.
So that's the crap that you're getting from rabbis, priests, and ministers, for the most part.
The irrelevant stuff.
But this, this is life-changing.
So here, I've given any clergyman listening, I've given you a sermon.
Amber Heard's boasting that we should normalize not having a ring in order to have a crib.
Shall we go to an Ohio state legislator speaking about girls' sports and the reaction in the chamber of the Ohio state legislature?
The State Women's Voice Act is a very issue for women to be able to achieve their dreams and athletics in our state.
And it's crucial to preserving women's rights and the integrity of women's and girls' sports.
Across our country, female athletes are currently losing scholarships, opportunities, medals, education, and training opportunities.
This amendment will require schools that are part of the OHSAA to designate separate teams for participants of the biological sex.
No school No school interscholastic conference or organization that regulates interscholastics shall permit biological males to participate on an athletic team or an athletic competition designated only for biological female participants.
You know what that reminds me of?
Nazis and communists.
I make the parallel.
I'm not making the parallel to Gulag or Auschwitz.
I'm making the parallel to totalitarian parties.
That is exactly what they would have done and did do before they gained power.
They banged and booed and screamed at the other side.
It's very scary.
This is among the scariest things I have ever played for you.
I'd like to keep this.
That is in the Ohio State Legislature.
Democrat is now another term for communist, in most cases.
And it won't mean a thing to liberals.
The world is divided among three groups.
The left, which does evil.
The right, which does good.
And the liberal, who allows evil.
That's it.
If the liberal understood the anti-liberal aspects of the left, the country would be saved.
That's a very scary recording.
Think about the cause that the woman was speaking about.
Was she advocating sending Jews to gas chambers?
Was she advocating lynching blacks?
Was she advocating interning Asians?
No, she was advocating that only biological females can compete against biological females.
Five years ago, nobody would have banged.
The speed with which the left brainwashes people is breathtaking.
Just breathtaking.
That's what you just heard.
The Kool-Aid drinker is banging.
Do they think it's fair?
That's my only question.
Do they think it's fair for girls to have to compete with biological males?
Is it fair?
If it is fair, why have female sports?
A guy says I'm a girl, he competes against you.
Guy says he's a guy, he doesn't compete against you.
Why?

So critical race theory actually is indoctrinating our children to tell them that if you are white, you are an oppressor.
You are innately designed to be racist.
And if you are black, you are oppressed.
In other words, you will never have the opportunities that the white person has.
And the little boy or the little girl that's sitting beside you in your classroom is the reason why.
This is why it's such a divisive, and in itself, it's completely racist.
Well, it is.
I mean, that's what I love about people who scream racism.
We're often guilty of the racism themselves.
I mean, it's the quintessential projection.
How can you condemn children who've done nothing wrong?
How do you make victims and oppressors out of kids in elementary school?
Well, this is what fired me up.
This is what got me initially so upset is that...
You know, I watch my son.
I watch my 10-year-old son play football with little boys from every race, from every walk of life, every religion.
And I watch them as they help each other up on the field when they get knocked down.
I watch them give each other high fives.
I watch them do chest bumps, right?

I want you to celebrate July 4th as if it's your last July 4th.
Give it all you got.
Please put out a flag.
It has never been as necessary as it is now to celebrate the greatest country made.
I don't say it because I'm American.
I would say, in fact, that hundreds of millions of people around the world would say it with a Equal conviction who would do anything to come to this country.
My stepson just got his first home in a community that I know exists but I've never actually been there.
A middle class community.
And I was really stunned.
I would say of the seven houses closest to his, five had flags out.
It was very remarkable.
One had it painted on the sidewalk, their address and the flag and L.A. Dodgers.
And others simply had the flag from their home, and of course he's going to put the flag on his.
You know, there are a lot of us, my dear friends, there are a lot of us who know the difference between good and evil, between fragile freedom and tyranny.
Tyranny is the norm, ladies and gentlemen.
The left is normal.
We who want American values are less normal.
It goes against human nature to want to be free.
People love being told what to do.
Love it.
My question about people with their blind obedience, like to masks, I'd like to, or not visiting dying parents, but I'll leave that one aside.
I'd like to know if they were raised in strict or non-strict homes.
I have a theory.
I have a theory on a lot of things, as you know.
It's one of the reasons you listen, to be honest.
So here's a theory.
If you have proper instruction and discipline from your parents, you grow up wanting freedom.
If you grow up With no direction from parents, no guardrails or minimal, you seek what you didn't have when you were a child to be told what to do.
And I have evidence for it.
We identify conservative parenting with strictness, and we identify liberal parenting with looseness.
Correct or not?
Permissiveness.
So you sort of make fodder for the totalitarians when you raise kids like that.
People want to be told what is right and wrong.
I admit it.
But the one who tells me what's right and wrong is God.
So I am free with regard to men.
My dream is that you who have governmental positions, leave me alone.
I am mature enough to lead a good life without you, without your money, without your directions.
I'd like to set my own temperature in my house.

Thank and happy 4th to you as well.
I just wanted to make a comment about the topic of women and biological males in our sports, in our arena.
I think it's very demoralizing and disappointing that this is happening and I used to play sports and I believe that it sets us back.
I don't know how many years, but maybe 20, 30 years because we've worked so hard to get to where we're at right now.
And I just, you know, hearing these things going on, and I have a daughter myself hearing that, you know, boys are allowed to compete with her when she becomes, you know, of age to play sports is just very disturbing.
Yep, yep.
Of course.
The silence of feminist groups is very important.
I always argued.
I wrote this in the 1980s.
Forty years ago, I wrote this.
Feminism uses women, just like communists use workers.
It's just a battering ram against middle class values.
That's all it is.
Feminism does not love women.
Feminism loathes men.
I said that 40 years ago.
The black leadership and the Democrats do not love blacks.
They loathe America.
All left-wing groups are about what they loathe, not whom they support.
They are of no use to blacks and no use to women.
All they do is make more angry Unhappy black people and more angry, unhappy women and every other group in whose name they speak.
The food of the left, the oxygen of the left, is anger and ingratitude.
In my pursuing the songs of the 1950s, I played for you yesterday the antithesis of Amber Heard.

What's he going to do tonight?
Well...
There you go.
To put the ring around your finger.
That's what he's singing about.
It is amazing.
It's one of the really sobering realizations of my life.
Even when the culture is healthy, you can produce a-holes.
That's my generation, the baby boomers.
They were raised with these songs.
So how did they develop such contempt for putting a ring around the finger?
It's not easily answered because their parents believed in putting rings on fingers before they had babies, before they had a crib, to use Amber Heard's apt phrase.
Do you have a theory?
Where did the baby boomers learn to loathe Judeo-Christian middle class values?
Was it the schools then?
I don't think in elementary school and high school.
I do believe in college.
I went to college, then I'm a baby boomer, and I learned America is a piece of crap.
So this is not new.
But still, it's astonishing where this stuff came from.

I had studied Marxist history beginning with Marx and Engels' Communist Manifesto from 1848. And when I first studied that and saw in section one of the manifesto what you can recognize as what's called the oppressor versus oppressed narrative of human history, a whole bunch of stuff that was taking place in our country began to become exceptionally clear to me.
And I began to piece together a lot of the what I'll call militant impulse that was manifesting in society as time went on.
And there's a victimhood ideology.
There's constantly an effort by some individuals who have an agenda to pit groups of people against one another as victims or oppressed groups and oppressor groups.
And we've seen very clearly over the past calendar year who the oppressor group is labeled to be and who the oppressed groups are labeled to be.

We as human beings are not wired for this perpetual state of activism.
We live in the greatest nation ever to exist in the history of the world.
So how could someone like Gwen Berry, a black female hammer thrower, how could she possibly get to the conclusion where she thinks America is so evil and so awful that she will turn her back during the national anthem and she will say that She is protesting systemic racism.
And she said, I felt like I was set up and they played the national anthem on purpose.
Oh yeah, they played the national anthem on purpose, Gwen Berry.
That's sort of a prerequisite of being an athlete and winning.
Well, I'm sorry, you didn't win.
You got third.
She said, quote, they said they were going to play it before we walked out.
And they played it when we were out there.
But I don't really want to talk about the anthem because that's not important.
The anthem doesn't speak for me.
It never has.
Well then, what does speak for you, Gwen Berry?
The Chinese call for arms because you're wearing Nike up and down your uniform.
And we're going to get to Nike, by the way.
No American patriot should ever buy Nike again.
Nike came out and they said, we are a Chinese company.
I kid you not.

Speaker 1: Do you feel double crossed by President Biden threatening to veto the infrastructure compromise unless he got a reconciliation bill at the same time?
Well, there's no doubt about it.
Anytime you think you have a deal, even though I may have voted against that deal, to have something added to that is just irresponsible, disrespectful, and definitely craters the deal from my perspective.
The 10 members who they were counting on, I know Lindsey Graham has said it cratered the deal.
Have the other ones, have they talked to you yet about absolutely being bewildered and done with a sham process?
We have not had a conversation at all, so I won't say what their positions are, but my position is pretty clear that you cannot have some caveat that spends $3 trillion, eliminates the right-to-work laws in my state and 26 other states, and call that the precursor or the prerequisite for getting actual infrastructure taken care of.
It's wrong, it's bad, and it's out of step with reality.
Now, my understanding is...
The original deal was, we will pass infrastructure in the Senate, see if it passes the House, if it does go to a conference committee, agree, negotiate, send it to the President, and when that's all done, then you can try reconciliation, but not before.
Was that your understanding?
Well, my understanding is that you can't trust what the President says on infrastructure.
That's my simple answer.
And when that is the case, nothing else quite matters.
The bottom line is a simple one, though, Hugh.
If you're looking at a path to reconciliation, that's something that Joe Manchin and Senator Sinema will have to stop from happening.

His name is Ime Yudoka.
He is from Nigeria, played in the NBA, was an assistant coach and worked his way up.
And Jay Williams congratulated him as the Celtics, Boston Celtics, quote, first head coach of color, end of quote.

Some lawyer hit a little girl.

It's the happy, happy, happy, happy hour!
Yes, it is.
It's a good day when I sing along with the song, the original lyrics.
Yes, it is.
It is.
The happy hour.
Ladies and gentlemen, the happy make the world better and the unhappy make it worse.
You have a moral obligation to act happy even if you don't feel it.
You are not allowed to inflict your bad moods on others any more than you inflict your bad breath on others.
That's right.
Bad moods.
Think of bad moods like bad odor.
Most of you shower every day.
It's an American idiosyncrasy, by the way, to shower every day, and an idiosyncrasy that I actually appreciate.
Having been to 130 countries, may I say that my olfactory sense responds in a more positive way to the regularly showering.
Is that a fair statement?
That's a lot of countries where the daily shower is...
In some cases, it's close to impossible.
I mean, I'm not even blaming people, although it is a cultural matter.
Anyway, it is the Happiness Hour every single Friday, no matter what.
I even did this when they engaged in the colossal, grievous error of national and international lockdowns.
We were in the hands of fools.
Much of the world was in this regard.
You know why?
Because they acted on fear, not reason, and because they listened to experts.
Whenever I see the term experts say, I assume something stupid was actually said.
That's right, I do.
It took many years for me to establish that, but that is in fact the case.
The Happiness Hour!
On this July 4th weekend is dedicated to July 4th.
It is more important than at any time since 1776 for you to celebrate July 4th.
It is now a statement because the New York Times and the others on the America-hating left and almost all the schools of the country are teaching.
That we are in fact established in 1619, when the first slaves arrived.
What a sick and mendacious statement to make.
The leading historians of American history, all of whom were liberal, or virtually every one of whom, called it a lie.
Trump-hating historians were in the vanguard.
Of calling the 1619 Project a lie.
But it doesn't matter, because truth is not a left-wing value.
You can do something very important for yourself and your happiness, that of your children, if your children will be attending, if you have children you're raising, or grandchildren.
The power of grandparents to touch grandchildren's lives is almost unlimited.
People who love their grandparents have a very rich life.
I've always been touched by adults who've told me how sad they were that their grandfather or grandmother just died.
It's very moving.
You know, we never did an hour on grandparents.
We should, because there are so many grandparents listening.
There are more grandparents today than probably ever before because people are living longer.
There are fewer parents and more grandparents.
That's the irony of our current demography.
How's that, eh?
The irony of our current demography.
That's a phrase to remember.
Me love language.
You can have a meaningful July 4th, not just a fun one.
Fun is great.
I'm pro-fun.
But I'm more pro-happiness than I'm pro-fun.
But you can have fun and happiness if you have a meaningful July 4th.
Here is a radical idea for a happier...
July 4th, this is the happiness hour after all.
Sing one of these songs, God Bless America, America the Beautiful, or the Star Spangled Banner.
If somebody doesn't want to sing it, enforce them.
And if you have a flag that somebody could hold, or you have a flag stand on which to put it, In which to put it?
All the better.
But even if you don't, kids seeing adults take something seriously, something good seriously, or even something bad seriously, are impacted deeply.
Watching parents take something seriously has a deep effect on children.
Because children venerate adulthood even though they don't acknowledge it or even know it.
If adults do something, kids take it seriously.
If it's bad, they take it seriously.
If it's good, they take it seriously.
Take America seriously.
Now, it's the happiness hour.
What does this have to do with happiness?
A big deal.
It is obvious that people want identities.
Have you noticed, my dear friends, that as American identity recedes, racial identity increases?
Isn't that interesting?
The more American you feel, the less being black or white or yellow or red matters.
Interesting, isn't it?
So people want to belong to something bigger than themselves.
I do.
I think it's a fantastic thing.
I was asked once in a speech in front of Israeli Americans.
I'll never forget it.
It wasn't a speech, actually.
It was an interview.
They had no money to pay, so I said, I'll tell you what.
I'll do it if you interview me in Hebrew.
Because I love practicing Hebrew.
And they didn't know I spoke it.
They thought I was joking.
Anyway, we did it.
And the guy asked me his first question, are you first an American or first a Jew?
And I came up with an answer on the spot that has remained my answer to that question.
I have two fathers, Abraham and George Washington.
I feel twice blessed to be a member of the Jewish people and to be a member of the American people.
Two peoples, by the way, that considered themselves chosen.
Interesting.
The Jews are the chosen people in the Bible, and America was founded to be a second.
Not replacing the first, but a second chosen people.
How many Americans know that?
That the founders thought of this country as a second chosen people.
Again, my point.
It is good to belong to a group, to something bigger than yourself.
The left has shattered.
The religious identities of America, because, by the way, Christians have the same thing.
They have a Christian identity and American identity.
That is wonderful.
You have a national identity and a religious identity.
That was the way America was founded.
You had those two identities, and they brought you great peace and great happiness.
The left has shattered both identities and replaced it with racial identity.
Which is sick and evil.
And it is not happiness inducing.
What happiness can there be in a color?
There's happiness available in a religion.
There's happiness available in a nation.
There's no happiness available in a color.
Color means nothing.
Nothing.
Nothing.
So, you want to increase your happiness?
Make this July 4th weekend meaningful.
Hey kids, in fact, hey adults, we're celebrating something big.
The greatest experiment in liberty in the history of the world is why the French gave us the Statue of Liberty and not themselves or any other nation.
So if you want to do something good for you, your children, your grandchildren, and your country, Do something American on July 4th other than having a hot dog.

Or you could show them that if you dare break the rules and make a ceremony that is about our fallen veterans, our service members, And the greatest nation ever to exist in the history of the world, the commonality, the ties that bind us together, if you decide to turn your back on that flag and put the shirt on your head, well, then you're off the team.

Of course not.

1-8 Prager 776 is the number here.
It's the happiness hour, and the huge issue is the importance of having a national identity, I believe as well, a religious identity.
The more healthy identities you have, the happier you will be.
That's the happiness hour theme today.
What the left has done is deprived Americans, especially young Americans, who are now not so young, of a national and religious identity.
And since people want an identity, they have substituted racial categories for national and religious categories.
Do you know anyone, can you imagine anyone who is happy with a racial identity?
A race-based identity.
Do these people seem to you to be happy?
It's an amazing thing when you think about it.
The primitiveness of it.
Yes, I belong to a group.
A group of people who have my color.
Really?
Is that true?
What does a St. Louis black have in common with a Nigerian black?
As much as a white American has with a Russian American?
Nothing.
Culture is an identity.
Race is not.
Race-based identities are actually racist, by definition.
So, I'm asking you, do you have a national and religious or religious identity?
Have you inculcated it in your children?
Aside from the moral significance of this, I am raising the issue because it's the happiness hour.
You're happier.
When you belong to a nation, you just are.
Think kids are happier today than 50 years ago?
Every single index shows that this is the least happy, modern, perhaps ever generation in American history, including those growing up in the Depression era.
Because happiness derives from meaning.
There was meaning in being an American.
July 4th, this is the weekend.
It would be good to celebrate it.
Sean, prepare those three songs.
We'll just do a little excerpt at given times.
America the Beautiful, God Bless America.
And the national anthem.
Here's a very interesting question that I like to pose to people.
Do you get the chills when you hear either of these, any of these songs?
I do.
I'm old enough to remember when TV was not 24-7.
They shut down around midnight.
Remember that?
Do you remember that?
Remember what they did every station did?
They play the national anthem showing the flag.
I actually remember staying up just to see that.
It really meant, in retrospect, it meant a lot to me to be American.
And I, having these two identities, the Jewish and the American, this was such a richness in my life.
That I know for a fact it was a major factor in my happiness.
And those two, whatever yours is, Christian and American, whatever it might be, they've been shattered.
What did the kids get instead?
Entrance into a prestigious college?
Whoa!
That's going to really compensate for no healthy identity.
Think about that.
Alright.
1-8 Prager 776. Here's a good question as well for you to comment on.
What stops you from singing one of those three songs if you're getting together?
On July 4th, this weekend.
I'll bet most of you listening think it's a good idea if everybody stood up at some point at a barbecue and sang one of these songs.
But I'll bet you won't.
And so my question is, what stops you?
My theory is embarrassment.
That's what it is.
Especially if there's one relative or friend who's there who is on the left.
But the thought that any of those songs would offend someone at your barbecue, well, my answer is nobody's forcing them to stand or to sing.
But the whole point is it's July 4th.
Why are you having a barbecue?
Why not on July 12th?
You are having it because of the day.
Then why isn't something appropriate to the day appropriate?
And as I said, it will make for happier children and grandchildren.
The yearning for identity is deep.
Therefore, like everything else in life, the question is, will the yearning be realized with something positive or something negative?
Racial identity is definitionally negative, primitive, and evil.
National can go either way.
It's not guaranteed to be good.
In America, it's largely good.
And makes happy people.
Take your calls when we return.

Oh, the second verse. the second verse.
Okay, everybody.
The Happiness Hour is about, I guess, patriotism, love of country, belonging to a nation and belonging to a religion makes people happier.
Those two have been shattered in the last 50 years, and so now we have a substitute identity, because people need an identity, like they need meaning.
The new identity is color-based.
Except if you're white, of course, then...
If you have a white identity, you're a Nazi.
But if you have any other color-based identity, ah, it's terrific.
The whole thing is sick and unhappiness-inducing.
So my question is, why won't you, because most of you won't, and you are generally a conservative audience, sing one of the major American songs, National Anthem, Or America the Beautiful or God Bless America at your July 4th event.
Or read the beginning of the Declaration of Independence.
There is so much but something American.
We didn't do it for 60, 70 years since the World War II generation, which was terrific, but they didn't raise their kids to be American.
They raised their kids to be happy.
So they produced kids who were neither American nor happy.
How's that?
That's the way it is.
All right.
Let's go to your calls.

Hello, Dan.
Hey, Mr. Prager.
Thank you for taking my call.
I just recently started listening to your show.
I'm glad I did because I was able recently to explain conservatism to my young children.
And I also just wanted to say when you were talking about the television going out at midnight with the National, I do remember that.
I'm a first-generation American.
My parents were Greek immigrants.
My father was deported, returned.
And he joined the Army to be able to stay in this country and build a wonderful life for my brother and I. And I'm disturbed about what I see happening.
And I just want to point out, when the United States won the hockey gold in 1981, I'm not sure about the date, I just want to...
Tell your audience that my parents were crying over that.
And it made me so happy to see that.
And I just want to relate that to your listeners.
It's a beautiful thing that you did.
I'm very touched, personally.
Kids watch parents like hawks.
They see everything.
I know that in the last few years, my younger son has said things to me.
I remember you saying that, and I swear to you, my listeners, in almost every case, I am stunned that he remembers me saying that.
Kids are recording machines.
So, they watch you.
If you well up in tears at the flag, or at an American incredible win like that hockey win, they're moved.
You put out the U.S. flag this July 4th, they will be moved.
Deeply.
Without values, you don't embody.
Embody means give physical form to.

At your July 4th event, what does it have to do with happiness?
I explain this each segment.
Having a national identity makes you happier.
Having a religious identity makes you happier.
Having a racial identity makes you unhappier.
Race-based identity.
That's what it is.
I think this is a very important point that is worth pursuing.
I'm not going to pursue it further now because I have, but I... I mean, in my speeches, in my...
I go on some podcast about four times a week.
Right after this show, I'll be on One America Network.
It's a point that I think I'm going to make very often.
People want an identity.
It'll either be a healthy one or an unhealthy one.
color-based identity is unhealthy.
I'll give you one obvious reason.
First of all, color contains no values.
There's no such thing as white values or black values.
It's an absurdity.
Secondly, whereas there are American values, there are Christian values, there are Jewish values.
Secondly, You can join America.
You can join Christianity.
You can join Judaism.
You can't join black.
You can't join white.
So it's, by definition, the opposite of what the left claims to actually value.
Inclusivity.
It is the most non-inclusive identity a human can have.
Racial identity.
My resident Harvard heretic, Julie Hartman, whom you hear, she showed me an Instagram message from a fellow Harvard student, and I'm going to read it to you.
If you all see me drinking during this Fourth of July weekend, just know that I drink every weekend, and I'm not celebrating this country's independence.
That's a Harvard student telling the world, bragging, that he's not celebrating July 4th.
And that's what Harvard produces.
But he was probably like that when he got into Harvard, because that's what high schools produce.
You're sophisticated if you have contempt for patriotism and contempt for the country.
That is sophisticated.
This guy, I don't know, and I would pay him to come on the show.
But I can tell you, his shallowness is deep.
That's what I know without having ever met him.
Alright, let's go to Jim in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Hello, Jim of St. Paul.
Dennis, how are you doing?
Well.
So what I wanted to...
You had asked earlier about how...
My generation, your generation, I'm probably a few years younger than you, lost their way as far as love for this country.
I've got to be honest with you, when I got into high school, I slept through most of it.
I didn't graduate high school.
I dropped out in my senior year.
But I can tell you this, I love this country.
My children love this country, but I think I missed.
The Dissing of America.
I think I slept through it, and I'm so glad that I did it.
Exactly.
That's my argument on behalf of inebriation for four years of college.
I don't even drink personally.
By the way, I don't have a problem with people who can drink and not get drunk, and certainly not get addicted, but I'm not a fan.
I don't like it.
I'm not against it.
I just don't enjoy it.
I enjoy cigars.
The one case I can make for drinking for four years in college is you will not have your values and soul twisted.
So the fact that this man dropped out of high school in his senior year and the fact that he loves the country are related because the more schooling you have, the less you love this country.
That's the ratio.
What percentage of graduate school graduates?
Forget STEM, Science, Technology, Engineering, Math.
Outside of STEM, what percentage of graduate school graduates will put out a flag this July 4th weekend?
I believe it's under 1%.
I don't think 1 out of 100 graduate school graduates will have a flag out this July 4th weekend.
And that's something you really should do.
And I'm using the happiness hour this July 4th weekend because it makes happier people to be part of a nation.
Okay, let's go to...
What?
This is interesting.
Brain, is that your name?
What's your name in Ventura County?
Brian.
My name is Brian.
Wait a minute.
It's Brian.
One minute.
I'm sorry, but we have to send the screener into the punishment room.
I feel bad because I like her very much.
That's okay, Dennis.
Dennis, I am so upset right now.
I know this is the happiness hour, but...
I just got in my car, and I heard America the Beautiful from Ray Charles, and let me tell you the synchronicity of why that's significant.
Just before I got in my car, I went on Facebook, and I've been posting for the last seven years the same post that is critical of Marxism, Antonio Gremski, and Herbert Marcuse, and also talking about the positive things of America, and also the negative things of America, and I put...
Ray Charles, a 1991 version of Ray Charles, America the Beautiful, at the bottom of it, together.
This was the first year that it was shadow banned, and it was erased.
I don't understand.
I got to hear a little more.
Trending now on the Mike DeLegere Show.
So critical race theory actually is indoctrinating our children to tell them that if you are white, you are an oppressor.
You are innately designed to be racist.
And if you are black, you are oppressed.
In other words, you will never have the opportunities that the white person has and the little boy or the little girl that's sitting beside you in your classroom is the reason why.
This is why it's such a divisive and in itself it's completely racist.
Well, it is.
I mean, that's what I love about people who scream racism are often guilty of the racism themselves.
I mean, this is the quintessential projection.
How can you condemn children who've done nothing wrong?
How do you make victims and oppressors out of kids in elementary school?
Well, this is what fired me up.
This is what got me initially so upset, is that...
You know, I watch my son.
I watch my 10-year-old son play football with little boys from every race, from every walk of life, every religion.
And I watch them as they help each other up on the field when they get knocked down.
I watch them give each other high fives.
I watch them do chest bumps, right?
They are not thinking, oh...
You're black, so I can't touch you.
Or, oh, you're less than me.
Guess what?
They've got blacks, whites, Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Jews.
They're all playing together, and they're all respecting each other, and they're all caring for each other.
Why would you put such a divisive theory or ideology into a school system?

It's the July 4th weekend, and I want you to understand the importance of patriotism, of celebrating America July 4th.
You've got to do it physically.
It has to be expressed through song.
That's my example through a flag.
Put out a flag.
See how your friends react.
If they have a problem with it, ask them if they know of a freer country.
If they took a vote among Africans, you can go to any country in the world to live.
What do you think they'd vote for?
Bet you'd be systemically racist America.
The greatest national lie since the Jewish blood libel that Jews killed Christian kids to use their blood for matzah.
That's how big a lie systemic racist America is.
They'll be happier.
So I want to understand, Brian, you put up, as you always do, you put up Ray Charles' version of America on your Facebook page, and it's been shadowbanned.
Okay, no.
What I usually do is I usually put up a text criticizing Marxism, and then at the end I put, if you can't sing America the Beautiful, it's quite possible that you have a biased understanding of America.
Sure, it has good and bad.
So I try to be balanced, and then I put America the Beautiful.
All right, good.
Wait a minute.
And that's been shadow banned.
Yes.
So you have it up there, but...
It is harder for people to find it.
It's only on my page.
So what I did was I erased it because it stayed on my page, but it told me that I can't edit it anymore.
And here's what happens when it's shadow banned.
Usually when you put up a post and you find that it publishes three or four shares before anybody even had the time to read it, it goes through their algorithm.
And I found this to be true.
So I posted it.
I pressed post.
And then I saw three shares.
How could it be three shares?
Right, exactly.
And then I edit the words.
All right, so that's how you know.
All right, listen, thank you.
Okay, Dale in Tampa, Florida.

This Olympic athlete who won the bronze medal in the Olympic trials turned her back as they were playing the national anthem.
She said she didn't expect the national anthem to be played and felt that she was being set up when they played it at the time they played it because they figured that she would react that way and somehow she was manipulated into...
Convoluted.
I don't understand exactly what she was saying.
All I know is that they played the national anthem.
She turned her back.
I look at people like Colin Kaepernick, who took a knee, and I heard him give specifics about why he was protesting.
And what caused him to start protesting was the killing of a black man in Oakland who had a knife, who resisted several commands to drop the knife, appeared to be coming towards an officer.
He got popped.
And that's what caused Colin Kaepernick to start.
One of the other things Colin Kaepernick says is that a man named Mumi Abu-Jamal should be freed from prison.
This is a man who stood over a Philadelphia police officer and killed him execution style.
So whenever he's gotten specific, particularly the argument that the police are killing black people just because they're black, when the studies show, if anything, the police are three times more hesitant to pull the trigger on a black suspect than a white suspect, then he's full of it.
So regarding this...

I had studied Marxist history, beginning with Marx and Engels' Communist Manifesto from 1848.
And when I first studied that and saw in section one of the manifesto what you can recognize as what's called the oppressor versus oppressed narrative of human history.
A whole bunch of stuff that was taking place in our country began to become exceptionally clear to me.
And right now, under the auspices of diversity and inclusion training, as well as critical race theory and other narratives of American history that have been parading about throughout the country and showing up in our education system.
All of those narratives seek to divide the American people by pitting people against one another into racial groups.
It's the white versus the black.
It used to be class, division by class.
Now it's division by race, by skin color.

How do you know I'm your brother?
I'm not.
It's just a figure of speech.
Oh.
Listen.
I just had a comment about that track you played, I think it was the Ohio State House.
Yes, Ohio State Legislature, yes.
And you said it sounded like the Nazis, the communists.
True enough, true enough.
You know, it reminded me of an exorcism or something.
It's much demonic.
It's a response to things.
It reminded me that Father Chad Rutherford is a Catholic priest, an exorcist.
And he's commented before on the similarities between the left, he's not political, but between the left and the demonic because he deals with that.
I never thought this.
I think there's a demonic element.
Wait, wait, wait.
Before you play it, I've got to explain to people.
So this is a female...
This just happened.
A female member of the Ohio State Legislature was speaking on behalf of a bill.
That bans biological men from competing in women's sports.
Go ahead.
...will require schools that are part of the OHSAA to designate separate teams for participants of the biological sex.
No school inter-class conference or...
All right, so let me tell you something.
These fellow members of the Ohio State Senate that banged and screamed, any of you who know me for some time know I really only fear God.
That's one of my big reasons for fearing God, because then you don't fear people.
And I've spent much of my radio life...
Debunking fears.
We live in an age of fear, of irrational fears, I might add.
Including, for most people, dying of COVID. Completely irrational fear.
And I fear these people.
The people who bang there, these are evil people.
They think they're good, but every evil person thinks they're good.
You think Nazis didn't think they were good?
You think Communists didn't think they were good?
You're deluded if you think that.
These people were sincere believers in their evil.
That's what we're producing in America, sincere believers in evil, in destroying that which is good and decent in America.
That banging, that is one of the scariest audio Things I have heard in my life.
I'd like to know, I'd like to get a video of it.
I'd like to identify the monsters who did the banging.
And I'm sure, you know, I'm sure they love their spouses and their friends.
You don't think Nazis and communists love their spouses and friends?
Then you don't understand the nature of ideological evil.
I'm not talking about the sadist who kidnaps someone, tortures them, and kills them.
These people, I don't know if they think they're good.
But the vast majority of evil on Earth has not been caused by individual sadists.
It's caused by horrible ideologies.
Okay, so you were right.

Donna in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Hello, Donna.
Hi, good afternoon, Dennis.
Thank you.
I just wanted to tell you about an experience that my husband and I, we are out here, and my husband is a retired Marine, still serves the government, and we took a tour of Pikes Peak here in Colorado Springs.
It was a bus tour.
There was about 10 of us on the bus, and on the way down, it was just spectacular.
I mean, you just...
And the bus driver said, if anybody feels the need to sing America the Beautiful, please go ahead and sing.
And nobody would sing.
He said, pretty typical.
Nobody sings.
They feel, you know, it's not right.
They might insult somebody.
And my husband stood up and sang every word and verse and got a standing ovation.
Oh, that's interesting.
All the people who were afraid to sing gave the guy who sang a standing ovation.
A standing ovation.
That is a very powerful story.
That's what happens, my friends.
That's my life.
I stand up and sing and then get standing ovations from people who won't stand up and sing.
And I'm not saying this is a criticism.
I'm begging people to get out of the closet if they're conservative, if they love this country and they love liberty.
And they should be synonymous, loving America and loving liberty.
But that is a great metaphor for what happens.
One person got up and sang a patriotic song.

Jesse was speaking in regards to supporting small businesses, which I concur with you, but for me...
I only do it two times.
I support my local bike store and my local bookstore.
Everything else I get on Amazon.
There's three reasons why.
Number one, free shipping.
A lot of these small businesses on their website, you need to purchase at least $50 or $100 a shot to get free shipping.
As much as I order items that the shipping costs, I save hundreds of dollars a year.
Number two, as a Prime member, which costs me $12.
$12 a month with Amazon.
I get prime deals at Whole Foods, which saves me hundreds of dollars a year.
I spend a lot of money at Whole Foods.
So, I can't support small businesses when I'm...
Right.
Well, let me tell you, you sort of...
You actually answered in affirming my own position when you said you get free shipping from the little guys with $50 or more on Amazon.
On the average, sometimes it doesn't even have to be $50, but let's say that.
So all I said was, if you buy small ticket items, I don't care if you go to Amazon, but if you get any big ticket item, and that's certainly over $50, then you should get it from a small business.

Yeah.
I was listening to your interview with Evan McDonald yesterday, and you were talking about homeschooling and kind of lamenting the fact that it was...
You know, are there resources and are they affordable?
There are vast and affordable resources available today for homeschooling versus when it started 40 years ago.
Give an example.
Well, I'll give you the example that I'm familiar with.
I'm the president of BJU Press.
Oh, yes, I sponsor you.
Yes, you do.
And we have 6,000 hours of video classes K-3 through 12th grade, taught by qualified teachers.
So if you don't feel like you can teach Algebra 2 or English 4, for that matter, those classes are available online to you.
We have a full line of award-winning curriculum from kindergarten, again, all the way through 12th grade.
And it's only $949 for a student.
You talk about Christian school tuitions, which we also provide our materials to Christian schools and have been since 1974.
But Christian school tuition might run $9,000, $10,000, $20,000.
$949 is a bargain to save your child from a regular school.
I'm glad you called.
thank you.
That's one resource.
I mean, there are many, but he's right.
There are resources.
Homeschooling sounds more daunting than it is.
You are as involved as you wish to be.
You find a group, and by the way, it takes very few hours.
Most of high school hours are wasted.
They just are.
And I'm not blaming the high schools for that.
I blame them for their curricula.
But I don't blame them for that fact.
Folks, would you take a bet with me that if we took random...
100 homeschoolers and 100 high school graduates and gave them the same math test, the same history test, the same English test.
I'll bet serious money on the homeschoolers.
I don't think there's a person listening who would bet serious money on the high schoolers.
We're not even talking values and happiness or respect for adults.

Robert, Upland, California.
Hello.
Hi, Dennis.
A grateful and happy early 4th to you.
Thank you.
I have a question for you.
Almost every day, you make the distinction between liberal versus left or left-wing, but I don't remember you going into that same detail when it comes to conservative-right or right-wing ideas.
Right, because there's almost no difference.
Give me an example of a difference between a conservative and a right-winger.
Well, my idea was that the conservative is what, I guess, we would all agree on the ideas and so on, but when you get into the word right and right wing, I think most people, especially who are either in the middle or on the left, maybe even a lot of liberals, would also be thinking right and right wing.
You're getting closer to fascism.
That's correct.
That's what they were brainwashed to believe.
That's exactly right.
Okay.
So, is Tucker Carlson a right-wing?
Is Mark Levin a right-wing?
I mean, are all of my colleagues on Salem Radio a right-wing?
Yes, the answer is yes.
And so am I. I'm on the right.
There's no question about it.
I'm infinitely further from fascism than every leftist.
I believe in liberty.
The notion that as you go right, you become a fascist is the left-wing smear of the right.
What they do is, they say that right means fascist, and then they call every conservative a right-winger.
I'm always called right-winger by the left.
Always.
Almost never conservative.
Always right-wing.
PragerU's called right-wing.
So they succeeded, because I have a wonderful conservative calling me and believing that the further you go right, the closer you get to fascism.
Who's a right-wing fascist in the United States?
Can we name one?
I can name you hundreds of left-wing fascists, most of the Democratic Party.
So...
I would happily draw some symmetrical distinction.
Oh, the left and liberals differ, and so does the right and conservatives.
Who's the right?
I know who the left is.
AOC is left.
Who's right?
Who's a right-wing congressman who is not a conservative?
I can tell you the New York Times is left, not liberal.
Give me a mainstream...
Conservative source that is right-wing and not conservative.
You can't.
The distinction was created by the left to smear all conservatives.
Right-wing is a dirty word and all conservatives are right-wingers.
And they get away with it.
Okay.
It was a very important call as it happens.
I thank you.
Darren in...
Grandledge, Michigan.

When did you wake up and say, "Hang on, this is not good"?
Well, like I said earlier, I've been in for over 15 years.
The first 14 years of my career, I was in the Air Force, was in the flying community, and then came into the Space Force.
Every unit that I've ever been in...
All of my professional interactions with people during the preponderance of my career have been highly professional, not politicized.
We focus on a mission that unifies us.
We wear the same uniform and we go out and do our job every day.
And when I noticed personally these things really rapidly beginning to change was in the past calendar year, but specifically in the aftermath of George Floyd's death.
What you saw in broader society in the form of social justice activism pouring into the streets, the disruption of civil liberties, for example, and the dialogue, if you want to call it that, that ensued in the aftermath is the very thing that I saw just spill over into active duty military units.
Now, I'll be clear that every unit is different.
Every leader is different.
Every base is different.
But that's when I was really keen on seeing this happen.
Now I've been in academia for the past two years, and so what I'm able to share is simply one man's perception of when this is.
I left academia in June of last year and came out to my current base and have had these experiences, but it's my sense that the seeds are planted long ago.
This is a subversive agenda.

We are losing almost anything in our country that hasn't been corrupted or co-opted or hijacked by the activists.
Thank you.
We as human beings are not wired for this perpetual state of activism.
We live in the greatest nation ever to exist in the history of the world.
So how could someone like Gwen Berry, a black female hammer-thrower, how could she possibly get to the conclusion where she thinks America is so evil and so awful That she will turn her back during the National Anthem, and she will say that she is protesting systemic racism.
And she said, I felt like I was set up, and they played the National Anthem on purpose.
Well, then what does speak for you, Gwen Berry?
The Chinese call for arms?
Because you're wearing Nike up and down your uniform.
and we're going to get to Nike by the way no

Yeah.

You said the general whatever's on your mind, especially, and thus far, not one call on cigars, photography, equipment, audio equipment, or what else is on what list?
Yeah, you mentioned the speakers, yeah.
Come on, what's my list?
Give me a break here.
Come on, Sean.
Cigars, audio equipment, photography equipment, what?
Classical music of fountain pens.
There you go, that's right.
Yes, the other week in...
God, what was that city?
I'll get it for you.
Driving back from Utah, where I had a speech, my wife and I drove there.
So we stayed overnight in a small California city, and the guy who checked us in, I mentioned him, I love the guy.
Gotta get in touch with him.
Trey.
19-year-old black kid.
This guy radiated happiness.
Saw me sign.
My hotel sheet there with one of my fountain pens and just went nuts.
What is that?
God, it writes beautiful.
That's gorgeous.
Wow.
Never saw one in his life and got very excited, which is a very common reaction to people seeing me sign books with a fountain pen, for example.
But I knew a lot about that kid.
Just by that.
You know how good that is that he got excited about a fountain pen?
Not because it was a fountain pen.
Because he got excited.
Do you know how little excites so many young people today?
They're so jaded.
It's another difference, in my opinion, between homeschool kids and other kids.
Homeschool kids are not jaded.
They're still excited by life.
All right!
Anyway, let us go on.
Yes, I know.

Julie in Cleveland, Ohio.
Hi.
Yeah, hi.
Hi.
Hi, Dennis.
Hello.
Hello?
Hi, Dennis.
I wanted to tell you How grateful I am that you introduced me to the concept that self-control is more important than self-esteem.
I'm a preschool teacher, and I teach kids that are three turning four.
And since I heard it, I've used it in my classroom, and it has made such a difference to the atmosphere in my classroom, to my relationships to the children, and this makes me so happy because some of them actually come up to me They call me Mora, which means teacher.
They say, Mora, that was self-control, right?
So they're self-aware.
It's just incredible.
So I assume, is this a religious Jewish school?
Yeah, it is.
You see, I'm not surprised.
Who would respond positively to the notion that self-control is more important than self-esteem?
I assume there would be a religious teacher.
And what happens is that self-control leads to self-esteem.
That's right.
You got it.
That's what I've learned.
As they say in the secular world.
It's an incredible lesson.
Bingo.
It is incredible.
Yeah.
Hey, I really got to meet you one day.
I have a lot of luck with people named Julie.
It will be my absolute pleasure.
So I just wanted to show gratitude, which is also a very important, right?
And I wanted to say thank you, and I'm so happy that I was able to do that today.
Is she terrific or is she terrific?
You have a choice.
It's one or the other.
People say to me, I've gotten this much of my life.
Somebody will call, Dennis, so we're having a kid next month, or just had a kid.
What's the most important thing to teach a child?
That's a tough question.
Most important.
But many years ago, I came up with an answer.
And by the way, tell us to college kids.
Self-control is more important than self-esteem.
It's a good one.

This is why it's such a divisive and in itself, it's completely racist.

We'll be right back.
Okay, everybody.
This is the I Reset the Agenda.
What is on your mind?
I'm Dennis Prager, wishing you a meaningful fourth.
Please sing a patriotic song.
It takes guts to do it, which is really sick.
It gives you an idea of the world we live in.
It takes guts to stand up and say, Hey, everybody, let's sing God Bless America.
I mean, I don't even expect people to go as far as the national anthem.
Oh, that's...
That may tick off somebody who went to graduate school at your barbecue.
Maybe you should ban graduate school graduates from your barbecue.
Have a special one for them.
You'll sing Imagine by John Lennon.
That'll be the anthem.
Like reimagining policing.
Yes.
We will stop crying with fewer police.
You have to have gone to graduate school to believe something that stupid.
Okie doke, everybody.
And John in Abilene, Texas.
Hello, John.
Good day, Mr. Prager.
It's an honor to get to talk to you.
Thank you so much.
I just found your station or your show, and I love it.
Thank you.
But I don't know when the last time you had been to a rodeo, but you ought to go to a rodeo because every rodeo, a young lady on a horse will fly around the arena with a flag, and they sing the national anthem, and they also pray.
And everybody stands up, puts their heart over their hand, and they take their hat off.
Go to a rodeo.
That is a pretty powerful combination.
I've got to say.
Patriotism, religion, And a young woman.
I mean, let me tell you, folks, you have really hit every cylinder with that one.
When's the next damn rodeo?
What else is there?
Right?
I mean, think about it, right?
Has the guy, like, pressed pretty much all of my buttons here?
God, country, and young woman.
Thank God.
It reminds me of the great, the oldest World War II veteran.
Just died a few years ago.
At 106, I think it was.
Or maybe even older.
He was a black guy in Texas.
The Dallas Morning News had an article about him about a year before he passed away.
And, of course, everybody who lives that long, everybody asks.
It's meant seriously, but it's more fun than serious.
But it doesn't matter.
It's meant seriously.
So, is there a secret to your longevity?
He said, yes.
His name is Richard Overton.
And he said, yes, there is a secret to my longevity.
God and cigars.
112. Oh, I had a feeling it was older than 106. 112. God and Cigars.
That guy, you know, he pressed a lot of the buttons as well.
But not like the rodeo one.
Whoa!
That's awesome.
I would definitely, I would love to go to the rodeo.
I'll bet you, I mean, there's no doubt in my mind, there's already a movement to ban zoos.
I'm sure there's a movement to ban rodeos.
As a general rule, anything that brings people joy, the left will ban.
They're unhappy, and they don't like when people are happy.
That's a general rule of many unhappy people.
They don't like the happy.
You are happy living in a house?
No, no, no.
We want to stuff you in an urban apartment.
You are happy riding your car at your own time, in your own way?
No, no, no, no.
You should be on a train or a bus.
You're happy smoking a cigar?
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
You're killing people with secondhand smoke.
If it's a joy, they will try to remove it.
Okay, everybody.
Let's see here.
That was it.
Barstow, thank you, Dick in Maricopa, California.
I did.
I admitted.
I said he doesn't know.
I corrected myself.
I said Bakersfield.
The Holiday Inn in Bakersfield, I meant the Holiday Inn in Barstow.
They were exceptional.
I like giving credit.
So just know Dick and Maricopa.
I already corrected myself the next day.
You have to understand, folks, everybody battles certain things that nature has given them as an obstacle.
Some people have dyslexia.
That's not my battle, thank God.
Some people have speech impediments.
That is not my battle, thank God.
I have a battle.
Names.
I do.
It's just a fact.
People's names, places' names.
So I did that with Barstow.
A very special mission.
I'm in Austin, Texas.
I'm on Richard Overton Lane with the world's oldest veteran.
A great American, Mr. Richard Overton, 111 years old.
Richard, Mr. Overton, it is an honor and a pleasure to be able to sit here with you, and I've got a special gift for you.
I know you smoke a few cigars out here.
How many cigars a day do you smoke?
10 to 12. 10 to 12?
You like the smaller ones?
No.
Too big?
What do you smoke?
Normally the Tampa Sweets?
Tampa Sweets.
Made in my...
Well, we can get them for you.
We can get them anytime you want, because I know the guys...
I never heard this, actually.
Alright, thank you, thank you.
10 to 12 cigars a day?
At 111. And by the way, he's listed as having died from smoking.
When he died at 112. Smoking.
I'm joking.
But nobody laughed.
That's the problem today.
You cannot satirize the left.
There's nothing left.
The moment you develop a satire, it becomes true.
The greatest example is how much Bill Maher laughed at me, and his audience laughed at me, in October of 2019, when I was on his show, when I said the left says men give birth, men menstruate.
He laughed.
Like it was silly that anybody would say that.

We've only begun to scratch the surface.
We're going to go deep dive.
We're going to go deep dive.

I told you, just singing any of the patriotic songs once takes guts to do it, which is very big commentary on the country's state right now.

If you don't have the courage to sing one of the songs, and I'm not saying this negatively, courage is rare.
Put out a flag.

And that's important.
This is where we're at.
Coretta, Queens, New York.
Hello.
Hi, good afternoon, Mr. Prager.
Thank you.
Hi, I would like to talk about the greatness of America.
You know, I heard Bill Bennett say, you want to know how great a country is?
Do the gate test.
If when you lift up the gates, people are rushing out, then it's not a great country.
Even when America is trying to close its gates, people are coming in.
That's right.
Where are you from?
And it's Antigua.
And it's only in America you hear stories that I came to America with $10 in my pocket.
And five years later, I own my own home.
That's the greatness of America.
And for all these Americans who hate this country and have so much problems with it, there's other people in other countries that will willingly take their place.
Well, what a great line.
What a beautiful line.
There are many ugly traits.
There are many beautiful traits in the human condition.
However, on my list of ugliest of ugly traits is the ingrate.
Leftism.
I said this the other week.
I liked it.
Right now, you get a high school degree in ingratitude, you get a bachelor's of ingratitude, you get a master's in ingratitude, and a doctorate in ingratitude.
That is what you get going to American schools.
You learn to be an ingrate.
Okay, Eric, Rusty, Craig, Dale, Michael, and Dan.
Sorry I didn't get to your calls.
Man plans, God laughs.
