Dennis Prager Show - VDH: Progressives Are Leading Us into Darkness Aired: 2021-06-29 Duration: 10:01 === Cruel Progressive Creed (10:01) === [00:00:00] He's one of the great thinkers of our time. [00:00:04] He's as close to a kindred spirit as one comes in terms of understanding what is happening to our civilization. [00:00:17] I read to you, The Cruel Progressive Creed Undoing Civilization. [00:00:25] Sound familiar? [00:00:26] What I'm about to read to you... [00:00:29] These are things that I have been saying for years, and especially in the last year and a half. [00:00:35] However, it is always good to hear it from another. [00:00:43] It's human nature. [00:00:45] It's like kids. [00:00:49] Parents know that kids will be more affected by another than from them, than they are of them. [00:00:58] It just... [00:00:59] There are times actually where parents have said to me, could you speak to my son or my daughter? [00:01:08] If you say it, it'll have more of an effect. [00:01:10] Not because you're Dennis Prager, but because you're an outsider. [00:01:14] But anyway, this is true here. [00:01:17] He's both not me and terrific. [00:01:21] Debt is suffocating us. [00:01:25] Our currency is on its way to being Lebanonized. [00:01:33] Most major American cities are broke, dirty, unsafe, and run by either corrupt incumbents, neo-Marxists, or both. [00:01:44] Tell me what is not true about that sentence. [00:01:48] Most major American cities are broke, dirty, unsafe, and run by either corrupt... [00:01:54] Incumbents or neo-Marxists or both. [00:01:58] How did that happen? [00:01:59] How does that happen? [00:02:00] How do they get re-elected? [00:02:04] They get re-elected because they promise a lot of people goodies and because they demonize Republicans. [00:02:12] And it works. [00:02:17] The law is optional. [00:02:20] And applied asymmetrically on the basis of race and ideology. [00:02:26] The law is optional. [00:02:28] Is that a great line? [00:02:30] You read this piece? [00:02:33] He composes pieces like this almost daily. [00:02:39] The past is found guilty by the laws of the present. [00:02:44] He really writes well. [00:02:47] That's another fantastic line. [00:02:50] The past is found guilty by the laws of the present. [00:02:58] Wow. [00:03:03] When could that not happen? [00:03:04] When would that not be possible? [00:03:07] That means nobody before us was decent, if that's what we do. [00:03:14] The past is found guilty by the laws of the present. [00:03:23] One of the insights I give in my Bible commentary, the Rational Bible, and I ask you for your sake, for my sake, and for the country's sake, to pre-order Deuteronomy, the third of my five volumes, the first five volumes of the Bible. [00:03:43] It is coming out in September. [00:03:47] You can pre-order it at Amazon. [00:03:52] I make the point in Genesis when it says that God saved Noah, described Noah's decency as he was a righteous man in his generations. [00:04:09] Why did it just say he was a righteous man? [00:04:13] Because you judge people. [00:04:15] In their generation. [00:04:19] Otherwise, it's over. [00:04:22] Nobody before us was good and we will never be decent compared to those in the future. [00:04:30] The past is found guilty by the laws of the present and so it is being undone. [00:04:36] The military budget is on a trajectory to be the smallest in terms of GDP allotment. [00:04:44] Since World War II. Did you know that? [00:04:52] Yeah? [00:04:54] Why would we do that if we could pay off pension plans to teachers' unions? [00:05:01] That's where we should be spending our money, not in defending the country and liberty on Earth. [00:05:09] As I have said often, If they really gave out the Nobel Peace Prize to those who deserve it, the American military would get it every year. [00:05:20] Its careerist officers, for their own short-term interests, are now demonizing and will soon be driving away the very demographic that has suffered percentage-wise the greatest casualties in recent wars. [00:05:40] And was once unquestionably the foundation of the military. [00:05:44] I assume he's talking about white males. [00:05:46] What was his name? [00:05:53] Mally? [00:05:55] Sorry? [00:05:57] Millie? [00:05:58] M-I-L-L-E-Y? [00:05:59] Head of the Joint Chiefs? [00:06:03] Wow. [00:06:06] He wants the military, members of the military, to study white rage. [00:06:13] You understand the instruction of the theory in the 727-727. [00:06:20] ...border on whatever the theory is. [00:06:24] But I do think it's important, actually, for those of us in uniform to be open-minded and be widely read. [00:06:32] And the United States Military Academy is a university. [00:06:35] And it is important that we train and we understand. [00:06:39] And I want to understand white rage. [00:06:41] And I'm white. [00:06:42] And I want to understand it. [00:06:44] This is the head of the Joint Chiefs. [00:06:47] Hmm. [00:06:51] Okay. [00:06:52] Next. [00:06:54] By the way, that point, every one of these sentences is a bombshell. [00:07:01] Alien... [00:07:01] Demonizing and alienating the very demographic that has suffered percentage-wise the greatest casualties and was once unquestionably the foundation of the military. [00:07:14] Next, there is no U.S. border. [00:07:17] It is an abstract construct that millions will illegally cross in the next few years, ostensibly because they will become future soldiers in the progressive wars for America to come. [00:07:32] That's right. [00:07:37] That's right. [00:07:38] You do. [00:07:39] You illegally... [00:07:40] Well, it's fair. [00:07:42] How do you illegally cross an abstract construct? [00:07:48] The idea of merit that built America is a dirty word, replaced by medieval tribalism of hiring and promotion by superficial appearance. [00:08:03] In just five months, Joe Biden created a desert and called it progress. [00:08:10] That's just the beginning. [00:08:15] Yeah, there you go. [00:08:17] He identifies as white. [00:08:19] He should really be more woke than that. [00:08:23] Perhaps nearly two million illegal aliens will cross the border over the calendar year. [00:08:28] Most would never have attempted to do that last summer. [00:08:33] Why? [00:08:34] Because after January 20, 2021, they believed the border was open. [00:08:40] Now meeting a border security guard ensures no detention, much less deportation. [00:08:50] That line, in just five months, Joe Biden created a desert and called it progress. [00:09:01] Who worries much about the ensuing collateral damage? [00:09:05] Squalid conditions. [00:09:06] Talking about the massive influx of people into this country illegally. [00:09:14] Squalid conditions in border halfway stations. [00:09:18] Cartel predation on the vulnerable. [00:09:21] The overtaxing of social welfare services at the expense of American poor. [00:09:27] That's correct. [00:09:30] Who do you think gets hurt when you have even poorer people flock in in the millions? [00:09:35] The American poor. [00:09:38] Greater rates of crime and gang violence, the diminution in entry-level wages, and less integration and dissimilation of newcomers who come en masse. [00:09:55] That's why President Trump was elected. [00:09:59] Because of these truths.
