Dennis Prager Show - There Is Intersectionality... But Not What the Left Means By It Aired: 2021-05-25 Duration: 06:12 === Intersectionality and Israel (02:50) === [00:00:00] I spoke yesterday at a rally in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills to be precise, on behalf of Israel. [00:00:08] Noting, as I have on the show, that if you cannot call Hamas evil, it is only a reflection on you. [00:00:16] You have either an agenda of Israel's destruction or you are so blindsided and indeed blinded by propaganda of the left. [00:00:30] That it's a very sad, very sad and worrisome situation. [00:00:36] You know, they speak on the left about intersectionality. [00:00:40] You've all heard about that, right? [00:00:43] Intersectionality. [00:00:44] Everything's related to something else. [00:00:46] So that even though gays have full rights in Israel and have no rights in almost any Muslim country and certainly Israel's neighbors, Nevertheless, a gay should support the anti-Israel crowd. [00:01:07] Right? [00:01:08] That is the argument of LGBT. We have no rights among the Palestinians. [00:01:13] We have all rights among the Jews. [00:01:16] But nevertheless, support the Palestinian aim of exterminating Israel. [00:01:24] Because it's intersectional. [00:01:26] You have to be anti-West, anti-colonialist, etc., if you are LGBTQ. So I was thinking, there really is intersectionality. [00:01:41] I have sort of modified my view on it. [00:01:44] There is intersectionality on the left. [00:01:51] It came across beautifully during the Palestinian or the Gazans or really Hamas' massive attempt to murder as many Israelis as possible and Israel's response. [00:02:07] Now, let me ask you a question. [00:02:10] If you say men give birth, what are the chances of your being pro-Hamas? [00:02:21] Interesting question, isn't it? [00:02:26] By golly, there is intersectionality. [00:02:31] What are the odds of a person who says men give birth supporting in this last war Hamas? === Belief Over Reality (03:37) === [00:02:42] I would say the odds are 99 to 1. Nearly 100% of those who say that. [00:02:49] We'll be pro-Hamas. [00:02:52] What percentage of people who say, no, only women give birth, will be pro-Israel? [00:03:00] Again, I suspect that the percentage is virtually overwhelming. [00:03:05] Not virtually, is overwhelming. [00:03:09] Now, one would ask, why does one have anything to do with the other? [00:03:19] Whether or not you believe men give birth, why should that have anything to do with whom you supported in the last couple of weeks, Hamas or Israel? [00:03:34] And think about it. [00:03:35] What is the answer to that question? [00:03:40] It's not easy. [00:03:43] The obvious answer is you don't think clearly on any issue. [00:03:48] So therefore, if you don't think clearly on any issue, you don't think clearly on any issue. [00:03:52] Okay. [00:03:53] But that's true. [00:03:57] But it's not enough. [00:04:02] It's your ability to digest reality, moral reality, and reality is compromised. [00:04:12] Or you believe only what the left tells you to believe. [00:04:17] That might be hitting it more accurately. [00:04:23] You believe men give birth, you're adamant about it. [00:04:27] You even tell us science backs you up. [00:04:31] And by the way, the list is long. [00:04:38] The people who think you should wear masks after being vaccinated, I'll bet you the great majority of those are pro-Hamas. [00:04:48] What does that have to do with anything, right? [00:04:51] It's a phenomenon. [00:04:58] It is truly a phenomenon. [00:05:03] It's worth making a list. [00:05:05] If you believe X, then you will believe A, B, C, D, E, F, G. And if you believe Y, you will believe H, I, J, K, L, M, N. Right? [00:05:18] Basically, people agree on nothing. [00:05:25] Nothing. [00:05:29] If you believe, how about this? [00:05:31] If you believe that there was Russian collusion with the Trump campaign, I'll bet you were more likely to be pro-Hamas. [00:05:40] Now, why would that be? [00:05:41] What does one have to do with the other? [00:05:44] Because the left told you to believe something. [00:05:50] Doesn't matter if it's true. [00:05:52] Doesn't matter if it's moral. [00:05:57] That's why I have said for years that the gulf between left and right is unbridgeable. [00:06:02] It's not on one or two issues. [00:06:09] Well, welcome to the show. [00:06:11] I'm Dennis Prager.
