It's always an inner debate for me, what do I begin with?
This has, so many things are important to note, but for whatever reason, I guess I'll explain the reason, this has grabbed my attention.
I think worthy of...
Bringing to yours.
Although I'll bet many of you know it.
So this is a headline from USA Today.
Disneyland's Snow White ride faces backlash over Prince Charming's kiss.
Disneyland's revamped Snow White ride I can't believe they're allowing Snow White.
It immediately triggered me.
Snow White is facing backlash over Snow White and Prince Charming's kiss while she's asleep.
The classic Disney story goes like this.
Snow White is poisoned by an evil queen and falls into a comatose state.
That is, until Prince Charming's true love's kiss.
Breaks the spell and they live happily ever after.
SFGate.
Is that the San Francisco Chronicle?
Yeah.
Managing editor.
Managing editor of a major city newspaper.
Get that?
And reporter Julie Tremaine wrote an article explaining while the ride itself is really good, the famous kiss is problematic.
Dowd and Tremaine argue Prince Charming is shown kissing Snow White without her consent, and it, quote, cannot possibly, unquote, be true love.
It's hard to understand why the Disneyland of 2021 would choose to add a scene with such old-fashioned ideas of what a man is allowed to do to a woman.
Dowd and Tremaine wrote in the article, Yes, can you imagine that?
He cannot revive her from coma without her consent.
What a lowlife, Prince Charming.
If that's not rape culture, I don't know what is.
For anybody who ever says the world would be better if it were governed by women, just look at what left-wing women are doing to the society at this time.
And I think you'll revamp your theory on that.
Both sexes are capable of destroying society in their own ways and in the same ways.
These are two fools who work at the San Francisco Chronicle.
Two childish, afraid-of-life, joyless human beings.
And, of course, Disneyland will undoubtedly cower to them.
Pris Charming gives her a kiss while she's in a coma.
By the way, let's say they were married.
Why isn't that, according to the editors of the San Francisco Chronicle, date rape?
No, excuse me, marital rape.
You shouldn't be able to kiss your wife when she's in a coma.
Correct?
Didn't get her consent?
I think everybody should have like a living will.
Should I be in a coma, I give my husband permission to kiss me.
Especially if that brings me out of the coma.
The criticism follows changes to other Disney Park rides deemed offensive and racist.
Splash Mountain will be replaced with a ride featuring The Princess and The Frog, a 2009 animated film featuring Tiana, the studio's first black princess.
Last June, Splash Mountain's storyline was adapted from the 1946 movie Song of the South, which was found to have racist undertones.
But what exactly was wrong?
I have no idea.
Do you know?
Do you know anything about Splash Mountain?
An old Goldrush rollercoaster ride.
And liberals still think that the enemy of the society is the right. .
There is literally nothing the left can do.
I would have them realize that they're destroying society.
It just happens one hammer blow at a time.
You know what?
It's not only joyless.
There is another aspect that I have often mentioned about the left.
They are scared.
Is it any wonder that there is such a division between left and right with regard to masks?
With regard to COVID in general, about the fear of getting sick and dying, the left fears life and death more.
This is fear.
Oh my God, a man may do this.
Let's protect ourselves.
So what will you have left?
What they want is a risk-free society.
Get it?
These spoiled brats of the left want a risk-free society.
You cannot fail.
That's why they devised trophies for participating.
Just always feel good and safe.
Safe.
Be safe.
When did Americans ever say, be safe?
Be safe.
You want a safe life?
It's not worth living.
Another popular ride, the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland and Disney World, was critiqued for its depiction of indigenous people.
And Disney announced early this year the attraction would be updated.
I have no idea.
Do you know anything about indigenous people on the Jungle Cruise?
They're statues of native people.
Not everyone agrees with the criticism, this is again from the USA Today article, surrounding the Snow White ride.
Fox News host Todd Pirro.
He shared his take on Monday.
He said Prince Charming's kiss on a poisoned Snow White was comparable to someone needing CPR. Sounds right to me.
He revived her.
Well...
Let me just say this.
Should I ever be in a coma?
Sean, you have permission to kiss me.
Just for the record.
I don't think anybody is looking at the Prince Charming Kiss of Snow White and saying, boy, that's a microcosm of date rape culture in college.
I'm not saying that date rape culture in college is a positive thing.
You see what you have to add all the time?
I have a little daughter right upstairs here in my home.
Absolutely don't want that.
But let's disaggregate this.
This is a cartoon.
This is a fable for many, many years.
It is not what we all fear as dads of daughters.
While some saw nothing wrong with the kiss, it led other families to feel uneasy.
When Disneyland's doors reopened on April 30th, following a 400-day closure due to the COVID pandemic, Amanda Cruz said she and her eight-year-old son were among the first in line to enter.
Although an avid Disneyland goer, Cruz, said Snow White and Pris Charming's kiss led to an uncomfortable conversation with her son.
It did?
Well, I actually have a theory on the uncomfortable conversation.
I don't know if I should share it.
Like, how did I get you as a mother?
That was just dark humor, folks.
Just dark humor.
Cruz said he asked her, why did they only kiss when she was asleep?
I don't believe it.
No eight-year-old boy in the history of humanity would have asked that question.
I don't believe it.
She noted 2021 is the year topics of consent and racism are discussed at home.
Poor kid.
But not reflected in amusement parks.
See?
This woman would like amusement parks to politicize.
Of course.
There's no safe space.
That's the irony.
There's no space safe of the left.
There's no space safe of the left.
There's no space safe of the left.
There's no space safe of the left.
There's no space safe of the left.
There's no space safe of the left.
There's no space safe of the left.
So the numbers we're looking at suggest the mix might actually be people who are fleeing and want to leave the ideologies of those states versus bring it with them.
So we've got to keep an eye on it, but we saw a massive red wave in Montana in the 2020 election.

How are you?
Good, Mike.
Thanks for taking the call.
You bet.
I'm very proud to be a listener.
I'm a man of color.
And I just want to let you know, man, that...
People in our community don't view you the way that it may be put out there.
In fact, most people, if they listen, they will be more on our side.
But I think that what the right needs to understand is you're not dealing with people right now on the left who are rational or who really care about fairness.
They're taking a the ends justify the means approach.
Not only that, we're not dealing with people who act in good faith.
You know, that's what's bad.
I mean, I like disagreeing with people.
I like hearing people with different points of view.
I don't mind a debate, but you've got to come at it with good faith.
You've got to come at it from a place of integrity and truth, Jacob.
Well, I think what it is is that these modern-day Democrats, and it's cut from the Obama camp, learned from the two states.
Thank you.
And a reminder, my friends, you could save about $800 a year.
That is serious money.
If you switch your phone service to Pure Talk from Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile, because it's only $30 a month for unlimited text and unlimited talk.
And I'm looking up here how many gigs of...
It was six last I looked.
Anyway, if you go over, they don't even charge you.
So that's just 36 gigs of data.
It's just $30 a month.
I tried it out.
It's the same thing.
You can keep your number, you can keep your phone, or you can get a new phone at a great rate.
Again, $30 a month, and you get half off the first month if you say Dennis Prager when you dial pound 250 on your phone.
Pound 250. Say Dennis Prager, and you will end up saving about $800 a year and half off your first month.
Say Dennis Prager, pound 250. I'm Dennis Prager.
There you go.
I say it a lot, and I save a lot of money doing it.
Yes, indeed.
Jared in Minneapolis.
Hello.
Hello.
Hi, Dennis.
I was just calling to Mr. Prager, and I say that with all due respect.
The other day you were talking about debating people on the left, and you had said that they're afraid, which is true because they lose.
And then you said that you always win because you know what they think.
I wanted to issue a rare correction because I don't think it's quite that you know what they think.
It's that we know what they say because they all say the same thing.
Right.
That's fair.
So it's irrelevant what they think is what they say.
You're right.
I know what they say.
They don't know what we say because we read them, study under them, hear them, and watch them.
They don't study under us, read us, hear us, or watch us.
That is correct.
That's right.
I don't want you to underestimate your opponent, because they lie, they manipulate.
Let me give you an example, by the way.
I'd like to give you all an example.
There is a hit piece on Dr. Simone Gold in Mother Jones, left-wing outlet, which, interestingly, did a whole piece on me and PragerU about two years ago.
It was very, even in a hit piece, it was just tough to find anything serious to critique.
They couldn't find a single lie.
They couldn't find a single besmirching statement.
We're pretty honorable, and I have tried to lead an honorable life.
So, in the hit piece on Dr. Simone Gold, For having the audacity to advocate hydroxychloroquine, among other sins, as a doctor, that's really sinful.
Like they know at Mother Jones that it's dangerous.
A drug being taken for half a century.
Anyway, so in passing, how did I and Prager, you, get involved in that article?
Because she was on my show?
Okay.
So, in passing, it said that PragerU, which is affiliated with the alt-right, which is 100% lie, I don't even know who the alt-right is, and we have a video attacking the alt-right, just as it happens.
So it's a complete lie.
We have nothing to do with the alt-right, and to be honest, you can put me on a lie detector, I don't know who the alt-right is.
Do you?
Name me an alt-right writer.
An alt-right figure of some prominence.
I don't know what it means.
It's a made-up left-wing term, basically.
Anyway, if it's alt-right, it isn't right.
You can't be alt-right and right, correct?
You're an alternative to the right.
That's what our video makes clear.
Then they make up a lie.
They said, oh, PragerU says it wants to defend Christian values, and they have videos up such as, what was the one that they named?
The problem...
Yeah, and here's an example of a PragerU video, What's Wrong With Islam?
Right?
Is that right?
And we never made such a video.
They made up a lie.
It's What's Wrong With Radical Islam?
They dropped the word...
The danger?
The dangers of Islam.
And what is the actual title?
Yeah, the dangers of radical Islam.
Right.
They dropped the word radical.
So what Mother Jones did was deliberately lie about us, and it's obvious that it's deliberate.
They dropped the word radical.
And then what happens is, I've seen it all of my life, then other left-wing...
We'll pick up the Mother Jones piece and say, oh, look, PragerU put out a video, The Dangers of Islam.
Never did in our lives.
But it doesn't matter.
Truth is not a left-wing value.
I just thought that's the latest example.
And it's impossible to fight because they have so many outlets that once the lie gets out...
This is a classic example of the very, very famous story in Judaism or in Jewish life of a congregant who smears his rabbi's reputation and then feels that he had done wrong and approaches the rabbi and asks forgiveness for spreading rumors about the rabbi.
So the rabbi said, I'll tell you what, I'll forgive you, bring me a pillow.
So, fine.
The congregant brings the rabbi a pillow.
And he said, now cut the pillow.
Here's a knife, cut the pillow.
It's a feather pillow.
Figures, look, whatever the rabbi says, I'll do.
So now let the feathers fly away.
And the congregant did as the rabbi requested, and he said, am I forgiven now?
He said, no, one more thing.
Bring back the feathers.
That's the left.
They let the feathers of lies fly, and you can't gather them back.
From Russian collusion to PragerU putting out a video titled The Dangers of Islam.
And then we march on to the next lie.
Like there was an insurrection on January 6th.
an insurrection.
Turning now on the Charlie Kirk Show.
Some of us that are conservatives had hoped, I think it was a false hope, that at some point the left was going to stop.
At some point they were going to say, you know what, maybe we've gone too far.
No, this is just the beginning of their plans.
This is just the very start of what they plan to do to our nation and to our country.
And Donald Trump I think only accelerated a lot of their radicalism.
You see, what they used to hide, what they used to pretend did not exist, they now lead with.
They now say the private part out loud because they know the media will not hold them accountable.
A great example of this is the Washington Post has now completely disbanded their fact-checking division.
Who needs fact-checking when the Ministry of Truth has taken over the presidency?
Where all they did was fact-check.
Donald Trump's presidency.
And most of those fact checks were basically critiques of nuance and context.
They were not things that actually were necessary for massive front page fact checking.
But they've disbanded their fact checking division because who needs to fact check Joe Biden?
He's who they want to be put in place.
But here's the thing that I think that we need to focus on the most, which is every single conservative in the country.
And I'm just going to start doing this right after, you know, right after, I'd say late May, early June, which is every single conservative in the country needs to start showing up to these school board meetings.
I think we have the tape here of this group of teachers that showed up, not teachers, this group of parents in Vail, Arizona.
They just showed up to a random school board meeting and took over the school board.
They fired the school board and they said, we're in charge now.

To heal.
You know this stuff is wrong.
Hear me clearly.
America is not a racist country.
Okay, the man is being slammed for saying America is not a racist country.
Kamu Bell says, you know, it depends on how you define racism.
Here's how he defines racism.
I define that as a country that is built on racism.
So yes, I believe America is a racist country because it literally is built on and runs on racism.
America is built on racism and runs on racism.
It's sort of the petrol of America, the fuel of America.
So his definition of racism is America was built on racism and is run on racism, whatever the hell that means.
And the definition given by this gentleman in the Washington Post, Quote, it means that we have systems and institutions referring to systemic racism.
It means we have systems and institutions that produce racially disparate outcomes regardless of the intentions of the people who work within them, end of quote.
So if every cop is devoid of racism, but the cops pull over more blacks than they do whites, that's systemic racism.
Even if the cops aren't racist.
Because the outcomes are different.
Thank you.
Thank you.
of attack by the left.
God.
Editors at the San Francisco Chronicle.
It's like an ode to America how many race hoaxes there are.
Dozens.
Dozens.
There are more race hoaxes at universities than actual racist events.
I think the ratio must be 5 to 1. Did the janitor, I think it was a janitor, or someone working in maintenance, at which university where he went and asked a black woman, what are you doing in this building?
Because it was supposed to be closed because of COVID. And she was in there, I believe, eating her lunch.
So we asked her, what are you doing here?
He was dismissed as a racist.
He was vilified.
And it turns out it was a 100% appropriate question that the building was supposed to be vacant.
Did he ever get his job back?
Did he ever get his reputation back?
What college was that?
Was that Smith College, do you remember?
It's worth looking.
This is what they battle.
They make up lies because the country is so damn good.
Compared to other countries, not compared to some puerile, utopian dream.
There's a childlike world, the world of the left.

Ooh.
That's a childlike thing.
Oh, the parent isn't perfect.
They're lowlifes.
The founders weren't perfect.
They're lowlifes.
This is what we have to deal with.
And I don't know.
I don't know if we'll survive.
I can tell you it's part anecdotal and part macro, not just anecdotal.
Precedented support for PragerU in the country because people are starting to realize that there is a race to save this country.

This is now getting common on the left.
You don't say women give birth.
You say birthing people.
Because after all, men give birth.
You don't think that that is sick?

Every one of you, your grandchildren, your children, your nieces, your nephews, of any age, I would say 10 to 100. Of course, none of you have 100-year-old sons or nieces or nephews.
I understand that.
People are living longer, and this is a separate thought, but it was triggered by 100-year-old nieces.
People are living longer and doing less.
Like, the aim of living longer...
Should mean, oh, I got to read more of Shakespeare's plays, hear more Beethoven piano sonatas, travel to more countries, learn more languages, read more books, and it's none of that at all.
None of that at all.
It's live longer.
So that you have more time to kill.
That is what has happened in so many people's lives.
These fake causes, because they don't have real causes on the left, so they invent them.
So I just played for you a...
Member of the United States Congress saying birthing people instead of women.
As a number of women have pointed out, are you going to take that away from us too?
One of the most distinctive aspects of being a woman is giving birth?
And that now has been robbed?
Yesterday I read to you about the New Zealand weightlifting biological man.
Who is going to represent New Zealand in the Tokyo Olympics in the heaviest division of weightlifting.
A male who identifies as female.
And of course the International Olympic Committee has no problem with that.
Can't get more woke than the international.
As soon as the word international is in it, that's the end.
One of the reasons that those of us who are conservative don't want to be run or governed by international groups.
As the groups get bigger, they get more absurd, more totalitarian, more suppressive, more irrational.
A biological man can say he's a woman and compete against women in weightlifting.
Get that?
I hope this person wins the gold medal.
I hope so.
And guess what you will hear from feminist groups?
Sean, can you play crickets?
Do we have access to crickets?
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the feminist response to girls and women being robbed of their medals.
By biological men.
Thank you, thank you.
That was direct from the NOW headquarters, National Organization for Women Headquarters.
But is there any journalist who challenges them on that?
Of course not.
The purpose of an American journalist is to be a spokesman for the left.
They have no other purpose.
Now we have another Congresswoman.
Is it the same day, by the way, that they rehearsed this?
Same day?
The first one was Cori Bush from Missouri.
This is Representative Robin Kelly from Illinois.
Specifically, the federal government should support access to and the provision of patient-centered, data-driven, quality maternal care.
Enhanced coverage and support for birthing people.
During the postpartum period.
There you go.
Birthing people.
That's right.
So all you biological men who have postpartum issues, you're now going to be supported by the government.
Do I deny for a second that there are men who identify as women?
I don't deny it for a second.
I never deny truth.
I just don't lie.
And it is a lie to say that they can compete or give birth.
Men do not give birth.
A man who identifies as a woman also does not give birth.
A woman who identifies as a man can give birth because she's a woman.
Now, if you walk around with a male name and dressing like a man and looking like a man, It's none of my business, frankly, what you started out as.
I will address you in the sex that I see you as.
I have zero intent to hurt anybody's feelings.
I do have intent to stop massive lying.
Men do not give birth.
That is not a hate statement.
That is a truth statement.
Protecting something really important.
And that is truth.
Isn't it interesting that the left accuses universities of being rape cultures and doctors in hospitals of killing black women routinely, as you heard from Corrie, what was her name?
Bush.
Aren't those pretty left-wing crowds?
The AMA is very woke.
The hospitals are very woke.
Read to you yesterday about Elmhurst Hospital in Chicago that wouldn't allow a comatose woman to get hydroxychloroquine?

There's anything comparable today.
The party has lurched so far left.
I mean, Joe Biden is a husk.
I don't know who is controlling the nation, but if Joe Biden 30 years ago were president, it would actually be a moderate Democrat.
What we have now is so far left that I can't imagine that most Democrats who really understand what is going on would be for what's happening.
Well, look, there was a vote the other day in the Senate, and the Republicans tried to add an amendment saying that any university that discriminates in admissions against Asian Americans will lose funding.
Every single Democrat voted against that because it was seen as somehow anti-Black.
I don't understand how being for Asian Americans is anti-Black, but every single American...
A Democrat voted against that and it lost by one by one vote.
How can you vote against a law that says you can't discriminate against Asian Americans?

I'd like to ask these two women at the San Francisco Chronicle, these two editors, so it would be better if she had remained poisoned and in a coma?
And didn't they end up marrying?

We had a call from Minneapolis.

It's from St. Paul.
Kevin, call in the third hour.
All right, my dear friends.
We are approaching the happiness hour on the Dennis Prager Show.
This is Ed Morrissey of HotAir.com for Town Hall.
Why would a high-ranking American diplomat alert an Iranian government official about Israeli covert actions?
In a leaked recording between Mohammad Javad Zarif and a political ally, the foreign minister revealed that John Kerry personally informed him that Israel was behind over 200 attacks on its military forces and proxies in Syria.
Zarif professed astonishment at Kerry's tip-off.
No doubt the Israelis are astonished at this as well, and all Americans should feel the same way.
After years of unfounded accusations about Republican collusion with Russia, we now hear of a prominent member of two Democratic administrations sharing intelligence about our allies' covert operations with a regime that regularly holds Death to America rallies in its capital.
The Biden administration needs to explain Kerry's actions immediately, especially while pursuing pointless negotiations with the puppet government in Tehran.
I'm Ed Morrissey.

For the hot new summer blockbuster, he and his dazzling co-star, Kamala.
His use of voice modulation was rather extraordinary given the television era.
And it served as cover at times for...
Unspooling an ambition in this speech that was Rooseveltian in size and scope.
It's really beautiful.
I mean, it was beautiful.
He's developing a kind of positive populism.
He also talked about the soul of America, and that was so passionate when he talked about the injustice, the knee of injustice is on the neck of black America.
His connections to the people in this room, I'm not even sure if all of them are deserving of them, but he does not care.
He gives to them the benefit of the doubt.
And his voice, that kind of grandfatherly, whispery voice, and the fact that it actually wasn't a big raucous crowd, let that intimacy really land.
Every single sentence had a very clear point to it, and every line of it had that Biden humility in it.
He's really trying to bring the country together.
It was a make America feel good night.
Wait a second.
Was that the president of the United States talking?
No, that's what you thought.
In fact, it was Jesus in aviator glasses.
What Joe Biden said last night was beautiful, beautiful.
It was intimate, grandfatherly, indeed Rooseveltian.
So there's a good litmus test with that kind of commentary.

And we haven't had inflation in so long.
You're not old enough to have bought a house at 12.5% or 13% 30-year interest like I did when my wife and I bought our first house in 1985. But it is not a good thing.
Inflation is a destroyer of lives.
Well, there's a number of compounding factors here as well.
Not only all the money is being printed, but if you look at the CPI numbers that came out in February, half of the inflationary pressures were energy-related.
And so when you combine the massive spending, Plus, the Green New Deal that's going to put pressure here on oil, natural gas, just energy prices in general.
This used to be comparative advantage for us here to beat China long-term because of our energy independence.
He is moving us down the path.
You and I remember 1973, dependencies on the Middle East, War of Yom Kippur, oil prices quadruple, a 30-year fixed mortgage, Hugh, in 1981, right when Reagan got on board, was 18.6%.
And we have a generation that does not understand what happens with inflation and interest rate and how that absolutely destroys an economy, frankly, destroys families.
When you look at your colleagues in the Senate dining room, and I've had lunch up there before, and I know you folks all get together and get along fine, and they're Bible studies, and everybody's a human being, and nobody wants to screw up.
Honestly, do they not get that?
Do they not understand what they're unleashing on this country?
And it will destroy poor people.
It's poor people and old people on fixed incomes especially who are crushed by inflation.
It worked your whole life to be 80 years old with a pension and happy, and all of a sudden you cannot buy food.
What Biden is doing and the left is absolutely an attack on the working class of this country.

Hey everybody, it's the Happiness Hour of the Dennis Prager Show.
And that is because the happy make the world better and the unhappy make it very, very worse.
That's the way the world works.
It's the happy, happy, happy, happy hour.
Yeah!
Those were the original lyrics, my friends, and I welcome you to the, let's figure this out.
If I started in 1999, no, it's 21, about 21 years of the show.
21 times 50, figure, I miss two Fridays, maybe four in a year.
Let's say 250 Fridays times 20. Is that possible?
1,000 hours.
Happiness.
Who is that guy?
Is he a listener?
A thousand hours.
By the way, I think you can hear them all, or nearly all of them, through PragerTopia.
If you go to PragerTopia.com, that's Prager, T-O-P-I-A. A lot of good things are available.

Uh-oh.
Remind you.
I'm going to get a letter from the ADL. Remind you.
This is the level that we're almost approaching in the United States.
Anyway, the happiness hour.
Tell me this year was not a challenge to your happiness.
I can't imagine.
I'm sure there are people who will say this was their happiest year.
But I don't know one.
Are you with me on that, living martyr?
Do you know anybody who would say this has been their happiest year?
2020-2021.
2020-2021.
That's a good one.
Joe Biden.
That's right.
That's a good, that's a very good response.
But I don't know him personally.
I don't know anybody personally who would say this was their happiest year.
Maybe we should do that.
I think it's worth exploring.
Has this past year affected your happiness?
1-8 Prager 776. It has affected mine.
How do you like that?
I'll bet you didn't expect me to say that.
You know, this is not some automaton.
Some happiness robot speaking to you every week.
Remember, the name of my book on happiness is Happiness is a Serious Problem.
Now, if I thought happiness were effortless, I wouldn't have given the book that title, correct?
I work on being happy.
I do have a natural disposition toward it, although I was not a happy little kid.
But I work on it, and that is the reason I can help you, whether through the book or through the show, or both, hopefully, with regard to your happiness.
Because I've worked on mine, and I have figured out some things to do.
This year was a challenge, and I'll tell you why primarily.
It wasn't a challenge primarily because of my life.
My life continued actually more normal than almost any other American's life.
I continued to be with friends from the very beginning.
I did not miss, I don't believe I missed a Friday night Shabbat dinner with a lot of friends, generally about 16, every Friday night from last March.
I have not worn a mask outdoors, ever.
I have been with, when not possible, I have been on Zoom with friends.
My synagogue, which I helped found, plays a great role in my life.
I'm so committed to my weekly service where I teach that I will be in Cleveland this weekend.
I'm giving a speech to the Republican Party of Ohio.
And I will actually be giving my talk on the Torah from my hotel room in Cleveland.
That is how committed I am.
And it is no, by the way, it is mostly selfish.
I tell the people at my synagogue.
Minion, as we call it.
I tell them, I come here every week out of selfish reasons.
This helps keep me sane.
I've talked to you anyway about religion and happiness on a number of occasions.
It's not my topic today.
But how do I know about it?
Because I know the role it plays in my own.
There are secular people who are happy.
There's no question about that.
There are unhappy religious people.
But by and large, there's no comparison.
If for no other reason, you have a built-in community if you're religious.
Where's your built-in community if you're secular?
I'll wait for a response.
You know what the secular response to the religious community is?
Government!
What was the great line?
Oh yes, you got that line, Sean?
I called it a Hall of Famer.
The line from President Biden's State of the Union address given to masked, vaccinated people in the House of Representatives.
Nothing quite as wild as the Vice President and her husband.
The second husband.
No, no, the second gentleman.
I always get that wrong.
Second gentleman.
Now, if Kamala Harris were married to a woman, I would be the second lady.
Well, we've always had a second lady, so there would be no switcheroo, now that I think of it.
Kissing each other through masks.
And we're supposed to take this woman seriously.
So, my question for you is, this past year, how has it affected your happiness?
And it's very important to work on.
I worked on it quite a bit.
I mean, I was just discussing this with a living martyr.
This was the first year I did not travel abroad since I was 20 years old.
I did not have a single speech.
Well, I had a couple of speeches on Zoom.
And it was a very...
Different thing.
But the worst for me, I'll tell you, you know what the greatest challenge to my happiness was?
Not those facts.
Very happy at home.
I am very, thank God, happy at home.
Not everybody can say that, I'm well aware.
And I couldn't always say that.
It's just for the record.
The greatest challenge to my happiness this year was watching my country wrecked.
By the left.
Morally, intellectually, and in fact physically.
Watching Minneapolis and Portland and New York and Chicago, among others.
I love this country.
I do believe it's the last best hope on earth as Abraham Lincoln characterized it.
And to see it destroyed from within, an unprecedented thing.
It's like our ambassador to the United Nations.
The only ambassador to the United Nations from any country in the world to crap on her own country.
This is unprecedented of an essentially decent place committing suicide.
And the people voting...
For the homicide that is creating the suicide.
An amazing thing.
That has, in fact, that has challenged my happiness this year.
There's no place to move, my friends.
There is no other United States.
Take your calls, 1-8 Prager, 776-877-243-7776.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Remember when the Obama administration came into Ferguson and accused the Ferguson Police Department of institutional racism?
Principal finding, Ferguson is 67% black, but 85% of the traffic stops are of black people.
An 18-point gap.
Ergo, systemic racism.
And the Ferguson PD only had, out of 50 officers, about 3 or 4 black.
Now, New York City is 25% black, right?
What percentage of the traffic stops are black people?
55%.
That's a 30-point gap.
But the NYPD is majority-minority.
So how is it that this NYPD police force, this majority-minority, has a bigger gap between the percentage of blacks in the city and the percentage of blacks who are those who are pulled over in traffic stops, a bigger gap with a racially diverse PD? But the Obama administration didn't accuse the NYPD of systemic racism.
But the Ferguson PD that has a smaller gap, 18 point, with an almost all-white police department, is systemically racist.
So we're always going to be racist.
Kamal Bell says, I believe America is racist because it was founded on racism and is still run on racism.
Was it run on racism when Obama was president?
And did it go back to racism when Trump became president?

Come in, Craig in Chicago.
Sean, are we hooked up?
All right, I don't hear a thing.
Okay.
We'll keep him on just in case we can.
Let's go to Rancho Cucamonga, California.
JR. Hello, JR. Hey, good morning, Dennis.
Thank you so much for taking the call, and God bless you.
I so appreciate all that you've done.
Thank you.
This past year has actually been incredibly positive for my happiness from a couple of standpoints.
One is I've been able to keep my employment and work primarily from home, and that has taken so much stress off of commuting, having to get up early in the morning and trudge through traffic and trudge through some of the things to get to the office, and yet be able to stay fully employed without having to worry about the next paycheck.
The other thing that has really granted me is that extra time to be able to kind of nurture my Christian faith, where I've been able to spend a whole lot more time reading scriptures in the morning, praying, and then also having a little bit more involvement with my church.
And I think overall, in looking back in retrospect of what this year has been, it has been, in a lot of ways, very empowering to me as a person, to me as a Christian.
In spite of all the ugliness that has taken place because of the pandemic, I just feel like God has really blessed me through it.
That's fascinating.
So, a couple of questions.
One is, you didn't miss being in human contact with your colleagues at work?
Not entirely, because in a lot of what I do, I work very independently.
So, yes, I do have a lot of contact with my colleagues.
And, yeah, in the time that I have spent with them in recent weeks, because we've been opening up a little bit more in the Los Angeles County area, yeah, there's no question it's been nice to be involved with my colleagues.
But for me, because my wife is retired, it's been so nice to actually see my wife.
Throughout the entire day and not be gone for 10 hours and just miss that connection with her.
So in light of this, what are you going to do now?
Well, you know, it kind of depends.
Our job that I'm currently at, we're slowly opening things up.
I'm actually on the verge of retiring.
Okay, that answers that.
So, all right, let me go to question number two.
How did this...
Given that I assume your church was closed, you said working within your church increased.
How?
Well, the church that I attend actually was open.
I mean, initially it did close because of the pandemic, but really began to slowly open things up in spite of.
And, you know, it gave some opportunity to have some involvement in some of the ministry there.
Even though a lot of churches completely shut down, ours really did not completely shut down.
All right.
Question number three.
Sure.
How did what happened in your beloved America affect you?
Now, I will say that that has been in some ways troublesome to see a lot of the turn.
Away from values that I consider godly values, Christian values.
It has been troubling to see what has taken place in regards to the continued, I guess, conflict between those who may espouse conservative values and those who espouse leftist values.
It is concerning, and it is something that is at the forefront of what we're...
You know, I'm looking at it as my own Christian faith.
But it's, in a lot of ways, it's caused me to be more prayerful for this nation and trying to get it back in its own mode.
All right.
Bless you.
Fascinating call.
I want to take, obviously, as many as I can.
We'll try Craig in Chicago one more time.
Hello, Craig?
Hi, Dennis.
How are you?
Good.
Thank you.
Firstly, I want to thank you so much for everything you've given, not only to me, but to the world.
That's very sweet.
Thank you.
I will tell you, this has, for me, been, I know, contrary to, for most people, it's been one of the best year and a half I've had.

Of course not.
How could I be?
Even though I know many people are.
But as I'm talking to you right now, I'm in the process of packing up 30 years of where I've been in the state of Illinois, and I'm getting out.

Having read kind of Jocko's book and then watching your PragerU videos, I kind of snapped back to my marine mentality, I guess if you will, and kind of just took ownership of what I had to do.
It changed my life in a big way.
I was stressed out, overweight, eating too much, drinking too much, doing all the wrong things.
A switch just flipped, and I just took ownership of it.
Are you married?

We started talking about how certain states have handled the Chinese coronavirus and the lockdowns alongside of it differently than others, which, by the way, is an attribute of the American system.
It is a positive that we are able to have certain states handle this more maturely than others, and that we did not have a one-size-fits-all strategy straight from Dr. Fauci.
It's a good thing that Dr. Fauci was giving recommendations and not orders.
It's a very positive thing.
I started to ask myself the question, I explored this last night and a little bit this morning, why is America reopening?
Now, the obvious answer is it's because virus case rates are going down.
We finally have the vaccine distributed.

But look, let's be honest.
The Republican Party and the Democratic Party have changed so dramatically.
I mean, when you talk about the choice between a Nixon and a Humphrey or a McGovern, I don't think there's anything comparable today.
The party has lurched so far left.
I mean, Joe Biden is a husk.
I don't know who is controlling the nation.
But if Joe Biden...
30 years ago were president, it would actually be a moderate Democrat.
What we have now is so far left that I can't imagine that most Democrats who really understand what is going on would be for what's happening.
Well, look, there was a vote the other day in the Senate, and the Republicans tried to add an amendment saying that any university that discriminates in admissions against Asian Americans will lose funding.
every single demo.
Thank you.
Yep, indeed.
Great stuff.
Sleep on it every night I'm home.
Fascinating your responses to me, how this year has affected you.
So, Tom in Minneapolis, back to you.
You lost your job, and you did a lot of downhill stuff, drinking, etc., and overeating, etc.
again, but then you snapped, as it were.
So I asked you if you're married, and we were talking about your marriage.
So if you had that downhill spiral, that must have affected your marriage.
Yes, it did.
It was becoming very strenuous on both of us.
If it would have continued to go that way, I think it would have gone very badly.
Do you have children?
I do.
Two.
The two of you.
They're not from a previous marriage.
We have one from a previous marriage and one together.
Whose previous marriage?
Yours or your wife's?
Hers.
Right.
Okay.
And then you turned yourself around.
Did that help the marriage?
Yes.
Very much.
What was the marriage like prior to your losing your job?
It was much the same, and I think it was because my mentality was...
I worked a lot.
I didn't put the time into...
I didn't esteem everything in my life in the appropriate order.
So why do you now?
I think God made a change on my heart.
Were you religious prior to this?
Oh, yes.
Yes.
I prayed for it a lot, and I think he just changed my heart.
Well, I believe you, to be honest.
I believe that there are secular people who can achieve similar results, but the chances are much smaller than people who are God-centered.
That's why the 12-step program is still God-rooted.
Secular intellectuals think that they could have secular substitutes, godless substitutes for 12-step programs.
They don't seem to have caught on.
The human being needs people, the human being needs God.
And a community.
I don't know where any secular communities are.
All right, I thank you for that call.
That was Tom in Minneapolis.
We'll stay in Minneapolis and go to Steve.
Hello, Steve.
Dennis.
Yes.
You're my favorite cue next to Jesus.
Wow.
That's a pretty high rank.
You rock my world.
Thank you.
Thank you.
So, it's a good day in Minneapolis because the weather's beautiful and the sun is shining.
No, that happens a good 20 days a year.
Yeah, right.
For me, I turned off the local news, the national media, and I tuned into classic radio on a regular basis when I'm not listening to Dennis Prager's show.
You mean classical music?
Yes, on the local...
Well, it's like an NPR. Right.
Right.
I get it.
So classical music and Dennis Prager is now your media diet.
Beautiful.
I do have to say on the computer I read some Yahoo stuff, but I take it with many grains of salt.
So that has made you happier.
Oh, absolutely.
The music is fantastic, and so is Dennis' show.
Thank you.
I'm very touched.
Listen, in one conversation, I was noted in the same vein as Jesus and classical music.
Can't get much better than that.
That's very sweet.
I appreciate it.
Yeah, music, I always think music is a gift of God.
No two ways about it.
That's why I'm puzzled as to why people don't spend more money on audio equipment.
I think I know the reason, though.
They have not heard what is possible.
That's it.
If you haven't experienced...
The only time people experience music beautifully is live.
It used to be that people also could mimic live at home with great audio equipment.
That's why I talk about that a lot.
So, thank you.
Let's see here.
North Hollywood, California.
Paul, hello.
Dennis, so good to talk to you, sir.
Thank you.
I have a similar perspective to yours, but I believe that The changes that I've seen in life are directly what God is doing, not just in my life, but across America and around the world.
You know the Torah well, so you know, I believe it's the prophet Amos said, in the last days, I will pour my spirit out on all mankind.
And he talks about young women dreaming dreams and prophecies from young folks and old men dreaming dreams.
And there's only two things that can happen when God pours His Spirit out on man.
Either you are drawn to Him and move away from what you were doing before, or you rebel and fight against Him.
And I think that's what we're seeing now.
And your last caller and many others, I think, are evidence of what God is doing in lives of people that weren't quote-unquote religious before.
My church is small and was nearly dead before the pandemic.
But we resisted and rebelled against the lockdowns.
We never closed our doors.
We social distanced.
We had people wear the masks if they were folks that were at risk.
But we continued to have church.
And our church has tripled in size from people coming because we went online and did the Facebook Live services.
Wow.
I wonder if there is a religious revival.
It's an interesting point that I'm hearing from you folks.

Hi, Denise.
Hi, Dennis.

You certainly are.
And you're very diligent that you counted.
Thank you.
It was on the phone.
Oh, okay.
All right, fair enough.
Okay.
Hi, this past year and a half is the question, correct?
Yes.
It has been, boy, my family, I have four children.
They're all college age and a husband, and everybody is somewhere on the left except me.
I am the only conservative in the House, and I would say I'm a...
You know, and I know that the folks who are able to discuss what's going on in our country, you can have a kind, you know, we all want the same thing.
But anyhow, for my family, you know, with COVID, three of the four came back home, and it was tough.
I mean, I'm still married, and I'm kind of surprised I'm still married.
If it wasn't for God and the commitment that I had made, I think I would have ran away.
Well...
Yep, I hear you.
The only thing I differ with is I don't believe that we all want the same thing.
I don't think the left wants the same thing as the right does.
The left wants power.
The right wants to be left alone and leave other people alone.
There are many other...
It's not a matter of...
We differ by...
In regard to means, but we have the same ends.
If we had the same ends, I would be a happy guy about that.
Well, Tom, John, Mandy, Gwen, Sue, Deborah.
Well, all of you have such great stories.
I wish I could have taken them, but now call in on any subject under the sun.
I wish I could have taken
them. - - And I'm worried that you got too many Golden Staters going to Montana.
Are you worried about they're going to vote the way they voted in California when they get to Montana?
I do, but here's an interesting phenomenon, Hugh.
What we are seeing is, in some cases, refugees who are leaving tyranny and big government.
They're tired of what's happening in California, in Washington, Oregon, even Colorado.
And they're seeking more freedom, and they're coming to Montana.
So the numbers we're looking at suggest the mix might actually be people who are fleeing and want to leave the ideologies of those states versus bring it with them.
So we've got to keep an eye on it, but we saw a massive red wave in Montana in the 2020 election.

This is Albert Moeller for townhall.com.
The editorial board of the Los Angeles Times has put forward a horrifyingly honest argument about abortion.
The headline it ran was this.
The right to an abortion means the right to have it for any reason.
They intend for abortion to be available for any reason, at any time, or for no reason.
Their focus was a law passed in 2017 by the legislature in Ohio, a law that seeks to prevent abortion on the grounds that the unborn baby has been diagnosed with Down syndrome.
The editorial board of the Los Angeles Times is saying that it is wrong to try to protect unborn babies that are diagnosed with Down syndrome by such a law.
Why is it wrong?
Because, says the editorial board, it interferes with what is a greater good than human dignity in the womb.
And that means a woman's absolute autonomy.
And what the paper claims is her constitutional right to destroy the life within her.
Like I said, this editorial is honest.
It's also horrifying.
I'm Albert Moeller.

Some of us that are conservatives have hoped, I think it was a false hope, that at some point the left was going to stop.
At some point they were going to say, you know what, maybe we've gone too far.
No, this is just the beginning.
of their plans.
This is just the very start of what they plan to do to our nation and to our country.
And Donald Trump, I think, only accelerated a lot of their radicalism.
You see, what they used to hide, what they used to pretend did not exist, they now lead with.
They now say the private part out loud.
Because they know the media will not hold them accountable.
A great example of this is the Washington Post has now completely disbanded their fact-checking division.
Who needs fact-checking when the Ministry of Truth has taken over the presidency?
Where all they did was fact-check Donald Trump's presidency.
And most of those fact-checks were basically critiques of nuance and context.
They were not things that actually were necessary for Massive front-page fact-checking, but they've disbanded their fact-checking division because who needs to fact-check Joe Biden?
He's who they want to be put in place.
But here's the thing that I think that we need to focus on the most, which is every single conservative in the country, and I'm just going to start doing this right after, you know, right after, I'd say, late May, early June, which is every single conservative in the country needs to start showing up at these school board meetings.
I think we have the tape here.
Of this group of teachers that showed up, not teachers, this group of parents in Vail, Arizona.
They just showed up to a random school board meeting and took over the school board.
They fired the school board and they said, we're in charge now.

Hi everybody, Dennis Prager here.
This is the hour you set the agenda that's on your mind about you, about me, about life, about death, about audio equipment, cigars, photography equipment.
But first, enjoy the music.
Music, a gift of God.
Music.
Bet you you don't have an evolutionary explanation for music, gang.
There you go.
It was?
That was the first time you heard me laugh like that?
How many years are we working together?
It's closing on 15?
Really?
Why did I hire you in elementary school?
15 years we're together?
And you never heard that laugh in 15 years?
Well, it makes sense because the last time I did it was 16 years ago.
It is so eerie.
Life works out.
Alright everybody, what is on your mind?
This is the hour.
Oh, oh, ladies and gentlemen, I am preparing you in advance for an impassioned, angry debate with a caller.
The following call is wrong.
Trigger warning.
Roy, Valley Village, I presume, California?
That's correct.
Poor Roy.
All right, let the drummer go.
Yeah, go ahead.
Yes, Valley Village, California.
Not impassioned, but disagreeing.
No, no, I was kidding about it.
Go ahead.
A couple of weeks ago, you said that electronics in a sound system, an audio system, are more important, or most important, perhaps.
Well, it shows that even a kind, music-loving, bright man can be wrong.
And I'm referring to you.
Listen, I have...
My system is living proof, but I will give you just a simple...
You don't have to be an audiophile to understand this.
Garbage in, garbage out.
Basically, all speakers today are good.
Some are great.
No question.
But it all depends.
I tell you a simple experiment.
A friend of mine has $15,000 speakers, which sounds like a fortune to everybody listening now.
But for audiophiles, that is a bargain speaker.
$15,000 speakers.
Obviously, not each, but for the two.
And I put them in a system with $100,000 of electronics.
The speakers were of a different...
One did not know how great they were.
And they rivaled speakers costing $45,000.
So I have lived this realization that electronics are more important than speakers.
What goes in is what matters.
You can't be better than the signal that goes in.
I don't disagree with that.
Alright.
Well, anyway, listen, thank you.
I would continue more, but I want to keep my listeners.
But I really do, I make an appeal to you.
Somehow, listen to a wonderful audio system.
Have them play your favorite music.
Do you know, people who visit my home, none of them have an expensive audio system.
All of them love music.
So what I do is I say, I want to know your favorite music.
I don't put on my favorite music.
It's useless.
And I put on their favorite music using a streamer.
Any streaming service.
So you can get basically anything that's recorded.
And 90% of the time, the person looks at me and says, I have chills.
They tell me they heard things in music they have been listening to their whole lives they never heard before.
They are shaken.
They are emotionally shaken, as they should be, because it is only bettered what I have by live, and not always by live.
It depends where you sit.
I have had people, and I really get moved by this, I have had people sit in my listening chair in that room, And have tears in their eyes.
So I am such an advocate that people try this out of listening to music with great equipment.
All right, everybody.
Thank you, thank you.
Let's see here.
Oh, look at that.
Dave, Birmingham, Alabama.
Hi there.
Hello, Dennis.
Nice to speak to you again.
Long-time listener.
I'm a fourth generation, formerly Californian.
Oh, hold on.
You're a little muffled.
You want a speaker?
Oh, I thought I turned it off.
I'm sorry.
Is that better?
A little bit.
Go ahead.
Hello?
Yeah, this is better.
Yes.
Okay, thank you.
Yes, I'm a formerly fourth generation Californian.
I'm living in Birmingham, Alabama.
I've been here for about a month.
Yeah, it's great.
I think you made a terrific decision.
I love the Deep South.
I truly do.
I find that ratio-wise, I find more friendly people, generally speaking.
I find less tension, a sweeter outlook on life.
A greater kindness to strangers?
You know, I said 20 years ago, I came up with a sort of meme.
And that is, the North saved the Union in the 19th century, and the South will save it in the 21st.
If this country is saved, it will be saved by the South.
Fourth-generation Californian, and he's loving it in Birmingham, Alabama.
Makes perfect sense to me.
Left and right have nothing in common.
Their ends are different, and of course their means are different.
And if you can get away from any place run by that very, very corrupt crowd, that power-loving crowd, See, by definition, they love power.
We don't want, conservatives don't want power over you.
This is such a huge difference.
That's why there was a caller last hour who says, well, you know, of course we have the same ends, just different means.
No, we don't have the same ends.
Leftism has different ends.
And it all germinated from the university and then down to high schools and elementary schools.
So any town that has a college in it is going to have this problem.
One of the reasons Massachusetts elects fools regularly to the Senate, for example.
Is that there are so many universities in Massachusetts.
So it probably is the most foolish state in the Union.
Yeah, that was touching.
Let's see here.
Keith in Palos Verdes, California.
Hello.

Okay, thank you.
I just wanted to preface this by saying I am not a COVID pansy.
I'm a frontline healthcare worker.
I was knee-deep in COVID. All the time.
I'm just wondering, though, you mentioned last hour that since the pandemic and the lockdown that you've had Shabbat dinners with 16 people every Shabbat, and I assume that although there's probably overlap with probably different people, you know, multiple times during the month, etc.
And I'm just wondering, you know, in your case, you haven't gotten sick.
It doesn't sound like anybody, you know, obviously from one of these dinners, you know, infected an older relative, etc.
Do you advocate, or do you think that that would have been a good idea for everybody to do that, to ignore, basically, the lockdown on Friday night?
A very fair question.
Stay on with me, and I'll give an answer.
I can't give...
Usually I can give a 10-second answer.

When President Biden said January 6th was the worst threat to democracy since the Civil War, that is a crazy statement.
It is an ahistorical crazy statement that ignores 9-11.
What did you make of that?
What is your old colleague Joe Biden up to?
Oh, I tell you, Hugh, I'm still trying to process.
What I heard last night and thinking about what was once the far-left fringe of the Democrat Party is truly now front and center.
The Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, AOC ideology, that's now in charge.
It was breathtaking.
Six trillion dollars, Hugh, in new spending proposals.
These are just massive spending increases.
Of course, the higher taxes, doubling cap gains rates, more gun control, free preschool and community college, the Green New Deal.
Hugh, I thought to myself, this is making Barack Obama Okay everyone, this is the hour you raise anything you want with me.
And let me go back to Keith in California.
Keith, you say a frontline worker.
What exactly do you do?
I have been an emergency doctor.
I just transitioned over into a clinic environment.
But I was in what I would call COVID 1.0 from...
Up until July of last year.
I'm an emergency doctor.
And I'm honored that you're called.
Thank you.
And thank you for your work.
And I mean that, obviously.
You're very welcome.
Okay, so you asked me, do I think in retrospect that I made the right decision?
Well, you sort of wear it as a badge of honor.
Yes, I do.
Right, that's correct.
And you think that it would have...
Yeah, go ahead.
So you asked basically for me to defend.
That decision to meet with 15 other people on average every Friday night for our Shabbat dinner from the beginning of the lockdown.
So I have immersed myself in this issue more than any other single issue of my life.
In other words, I've devoted more time to studying Marx, but I'm talking about one issue at a given moment.
I have a different view than you for one big reason.
Doctors have a jaundiced view of life, and you have to.
My brother is a major physician.
Physicians are not an unknown quantity to me.
Let me give you an example.
There is a major supporter of PragerU, whom I adore, who is a doctor.
And he periodically begs me to stop smoking cigars because of the danger of tongue cancer and mouth cancer.
Now, as a doctor, he sees people with mouth cancer.
I have known more people personally than most people because I'm a public figure.
So a vast number of people in my life.
I could name ten cancers that I know people by name and died of those cancers.
I don't know a single human being in all of my life who had mouth or tongue or lip cancer.
I know it happens.
Doctors see it happen, so they think it's common.
You have a different view of life than I do.
You have a fireman's view of fire.
You have a cop's view of human beings.
Basically only interact with despicable people.
If that doesn't have an effect on them, they're not normal.
I can well understand that cops would think most people stink.
You see disease, that's all you think.
I'm not a doctor.
And I know the data.
Yeah, but, you know, listen, I am not a scaredy cat.
Believe me, my wife and kids will tell you all the time.
Do you wear a mask outdoors?
Oh, never.
I'm always caught without a mask thinking, no, I don't ever wear a mask.
No, I'm just saying, but in the epidemic nature of what's going on, do you think that it would have been harmless and maybe even favorable for everybody to do, Yes, yes, because some people would have died as a result.
People die when we raise the speed limit.
I don't ask the question, will anybody die?
I ask what is good for society.
The lockdown was awful for society.
It was evil not to have school.
It was not a mistake.
I completely agree.
Okay, it comes with the same mindset, Doc.
That's the way it works.
Okay, you're willing to make the trade-off.
That's correct.
Okay, I know it's a busy day.
Yesterday there was an inaccuracy that some people might find quasi-important, and I just wanted to point it out to you because I don't think that you noticed it, if you have just a moment.
The climate doctor, the anti-climate crisis professor, you asked and you said, if nothing happens or we don't do anything, what will be the end result at the end of the century?
And he said, uh...
A degree.
And you said, oh, a degree?
We're going to upset the whole economy for a degree?
And he said, well, maybe a degree and a half.
And then at that point, you said something to him, and simultaneously he said to you, centigrade.
And I don't think you heard it.
I did hear it.
I did hear it.
Oh, okay.
No, no.
Right.
I just...
It just seemed that walking away, there's a difference maybe between one degree and three degrees.
That's all.
Right.
You're right, Doc.
I did hear it.
Okay.
But obviously, one degree, I think most people interpret it as one degree.
Fair enough.
No, no.
So it wasn't an inaccuracy.
He corrected himself, and I heard it.
Anyway, listen, I'm very appreciative of you, of your work, and of your question, and of your attitude.
Yes?
See, people with my attitude would have had open schools.
People with my attitude would have had utter contempt for mask-wearing outdoors.
Thousands of doctors have contempt for it.
They signed a petition saying it was okay to go maskless en masse if you were protesting racism.
All of a sudden, it became less of a danger.
We have been led by drivel, nonsense.
Irrationality.
Now, should a 90-year-old with a lung condition have met with us for Shabbat dinner?
I would not tell them not to, and I certainly would not encourage them to have done it.
Also, I'd like to add the criminality, in my opinion, of the medical profession in not pushing.
Vitamin D, hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and ivermectin.
That we went immediately for a vaccination, a unique vaccine, an mRNA, without the usual testing.
And I have no doubt that it works for many, many people.
But I have no idea what its long-term consequences will be.
Instead of going for therapeutics, it has been an indefensible decision, in my opinion.
Anyway, I really thank him for calling.
And Benjamin in Gainesville, Florida.
Hello.
Hi, Mr. Prager.
Thank you for having me on your show.
Thank you.
So, I have a theory about why the left wants to defund the police, and it's real simple.
They want to defund local police departments because they're very totalitarian in nature, and they want the federal police to run our cities and communities.
Just like they put in the National Guard in Washington, D.C., I bet you anything in the coming years, the left, after the city's defended all this chaos and anarchy, they're going to say, oh, well, local police departments just don't work, and so we need the federal police to come in.
And once they come in, they're there to stay.
Where did you hear this idea?
My own idea.
Well, all I could say is you should join Prager for us.
Well, thank you, Mr. Prager.
I take that as a great compliment.
You are right to do so.
I had not thought of that.
I think you're 100% right.
They would love to nationalize everything, including the police.
Thank you.

Here's Jacob.
Hi, Jacob.
How are you?
Good, Mike.
Thanks for taking the call.
You bet.
I'm very proud to be a listener.
I'm a man of color.
And I just want to let you know, man, that people in our community don't view you the way that it may be put out there.
In fact, most people, if they listen, they will be more on our side.
I think that what the right needs to understand is you're not dealing with people right now on the left who are rational or who really care about fairness.
They're taking a the ends justify the means approach.
Not only that, we're not dealing with people who act in good faith, you know?
That's what's bad.
I like disagreeing with people.
I like hearing people with different points of view.
I don't mind a debate.
But you've got to come at it with good faith.
You've got to come at it from a place of integrity and truth, Jacob.
Well, I think what it is is that these modern-day Democrats, and it's cut from the Obama camp, learned from the 2000 election in which people like my father, who was a traditional Democrat, felt that the Democrats were weak.
Well, the Republicans now, and for the most part leading with John Roberts, have taken the reverse approach.
As to where these modern-day Democrats are saying, you know, we're going to do whatever to win, and there's still this hope of faith.
In Michigan, for example, this has been a long-term plan.
This started in Michigan, for example, in 2018 when the ACLU filed a lawsuit to change voting rights at the constitutional level in the state of Michigan.
So this was a plan that they implemented across several strategic states, probably right after 2016. Keep up with what's trending.

The editorial board of the Los Angeles Times is saying that it is wrong to try to protect unborn babies that are...
Hi everybody, I'm Dennis Prager and I welcome you to the show.
There is a headpiece in Mother Jones on Simone Gold, the courageous doctor, who has started America's frontline doctors group, argues for the benefits of ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, and truth-telling in medicine, which is very rare today.
Mentions that she appeared on the Dennis Prager show, and then there was a statement about Dennis Prager and PragerU being alt-right.
It's a lie.
I have no idea what alt-right is.
It's so bizarre.
I don't know who's on alt-right.
I don't even know what it means.
So it's a throwaway smear, which is typical of the left.
But then there was an out-and-out lie in the brief noting about PragerU and me, and it said PragerU put out...
PragerU, which is out to defend Judeo-Christian values, has a video titled, The Dangers of Islam, or The Danger of Islam.
In fact, they just lied.
The video is The Danger of Radical Islam.
They dropped the word radical.
That's because truth is not a left-wing value.
Just thought I'd share that with you.
I mentioned it in the first hour.
All right, let's see.
Okay.
Hannah in Redondo Beach, California.
Hello.
Hello.
Hi.
Hi, thank you for having me on, Mr. Prager.
I wanted to ask you your thoughts on the study of sociology.
Are you thinking of majoring in it?
No, I'm in college right now, and I'm taking it this semester, and from what it looks like, it's an extremely leftist, honestly pseudoscience, kind of a facet of regular psychology, and it teaches victimhood, and it teaches a bunch of other far-left ideals as fact.
You got it right.
That's exactly my view of it.
It's a waste.
I mean, I wish it were just a waste.
It's worse than a waste.
That is exactly right.
But it's true for virtually every one of the quote-unquote social sciences.
In fact, anything outside of STEM, science, technology, what is the E again?
Engineering and math.
Yes, engineering and math.
Thank you.
You know, the departments of English.
Are notorious indoctrination centers.
They dismiss Shakespeare as a white European heterosexual male.
Not to regard him as the greatest writer perhaps in world history, after the Bible, and certainly in English.
So you're really stuck if you want to take political science or history, sociology, anthropology, and anything with the word studies in it.
Right.
Yeah.
Are you at college?
I am.
I'm studying to be a physical therapist, but this is one of the, it's required as a gen ed course.
Well, what are your other choices for gen ed?
More of the same, unfortunately.
How did you develop your sober attitudes towards life?
Largely in part to my mom.
I've been listening to your show because of her for years now.
And she taught me personal responsibility all throughout life.
So I think that's a big part of it.
So I think I asked you, but I don't remember your answer.
Are you at college?
I am.
Which one?
I started at the University of Oregon, but the tuition is so high, I had to come back home, and I go to a community college right now.
Well, you have a better chance at getting a professor at a community college who actually believes in teaching than indoctrinating, than you do at a university.
So that might work out.
Well, I'd like to invite you, too, to Prager Forest.
Are you familiar with PragerU?
I am, yes.
Okay, wonderful.
Well, thank you for calling.
People like you give people hope.
She's 19. It has been a very great facet of my life in the last decade, the number of young people I interact with and get to know and get to touch, and it gives you hope.
I know the fundraising ones we do with PragerU, Every day I have a Prager Force young person, and I know from your reactions how much that means to you.

But look, let's be honest.
The Republican Party and the Democratic Party have changed so dramatically.
I mean, when you talk about the choice between a Nixon and a Humphrey or a McGovern, I don't think...
We have such a long history of discriminating against Asian Americans.
There are now lawsuits involving Yale and Harvard and Princeton who are accused of discriminating in admission policy against Asians in order to raise the number of African Americans.
They deny that there's a quota system, but if it ever.

Alright.
We have calls on a whole host of subjects.
Steve in Los Angeles, hello.
Hello, Steve.
Oh, yeah.
I believe you said the existence of music isn't based on evolutionary forces, and it's obvious that it is.
It's obvious that music can be explained evolutionarily?
Of course.
Isn't that obvious to you?
Obviously, it isn't obvious to me.
Okay, well, first of all...
It has great emotional sway and has very powerful social influence.
Now, example, if you go into the idea of war, coordination of troops, they use music.
Influence, popularity has a political.
You look at the entertainment industry.
You watch action films.
It's a coordination.
I mean, you see it in the so-called lower developing animals.
They use sound.
The development of the brain with language and body coordination are concomitant.
It's true with birds, for instance.
They can dance.
The ones that can talk, so to speak, like parrots.
And it's a convergent evolution.
You take something like monkeys or apes, they have a different path, but you'd think they'd be more likely to communicate that way, but they don't because they use other means of communication.
You look at dolphins, they're in the ocean, you'd think it's pretty boring.
The thing that makes their life complex is their social.
Right.
I don't know what any of that has to do with music.
I gave you a lot of time.
I thank you.
I don't have an axe to grind here.
I got the notion that there is no evolutionary explanation for music reading the science section of the New York Times.
I read the New York Times because it's important for me to know what the left thinks.
And they're very pro-evolution at the New York Times.
And on a number of occasions they've noted that nobody has come up with an explanation.
The purpose of evolutionary change is for the survival of the species.
The fact that people enjoy music becomes a tautology.
Since people enjoy music, music developed.
Well, I don't find that persuasive.
So I would like to know how humans have survived better.
Because of music.
So you'll say anything that makes endorphins.
Okay.
Anyway, I appreciate your call.
I regard it as a mystery.
I regard, in fact, the origin of life as a mystery.
Science has no explanation for the origin of existence.
It has no explanation for the origin of life.
It has no explanation for the origin of consciousness.
But other than that...
It's really on top of things.
And scientists are, as a group, not particularly bright outside of science.
So people should be a little more humble about what science can teach and what scientists have to say.
Okay, there you go.
And...
Staten Island, New York, and Joanne.
Hello, Joanne.
Dennis Prager.
Dennis?
Yes.
Hi.
Thank you so much for taking my question.
Right.
So, I had an argument with my daughter a couple of nights ago.
I am conservative, I'm religious, I'm Catholic, and she is a freshman in high school, and she said to me, If I become friends with somebody who's transgender, and we become close or whatever, and I want to invite them in the house, you're going to let them in the house?
And she did this right before bedtime, and she caught me off guard, and I reacted very angrily, and I said, no, they're not allowed in my house.
I said, I'm sorry, I think it's a mental issue.
I think it's wrong what they're doing.
I think it's wrong to encourage it.
I said, I'm not going to call anybody they and them in my house, and I just went insane.
And then she...
Started yelling back at me, you're mean, you're mean, I can't believe this, but what?
They can't help it, this and that.
And then she left the room, and that was the end of it.
And after talking to my sister, who has four kids, she thinks that I should just switch schools and put her in Catholic school where we live.
Because right now she goes to LaGuardia High School, which is an arts school in Manhattan.
And I'm upset.
I'm still upset.
And when I talk to my husband about it, he fights with me because he doesn't agree with my approach.
He doesn't think she should change schools.
He thinks that she's not indoctrinated.
And I'm scared.
I am really scared.
Well, you'll know.
No, I'll tell you.
There's a question you should ask her, and then I'll comment on your call.
But there is a question you should ask her to determine if she's indoctrinated.
Does she think that it is fair?
For biological men to compete in athletics against biological women.
Okay.
I mean, I could ask her that, but she's going to poo-poo there, because she's going to say, that's not what I'm asking.
No, no, no, no, no.
You're right.
That isn't what she's asking.
I'm merely responding to how I'm trying to help you, certainly free to reject it.
I'm trying to help you determine whether she is indoctrinated or just being nice to a fellow student.
They're not the same thing.
She's indoctrinated if she says it is fair for a biological man who identifies as a female to compete in athletics against biological women.
Then you know she's indoctrinated.
But if she says, no, of course that's not fair.
All I'm asking is, so I presume if it's in high school in America today, it is probably a female who identifies as a male.
So I don't know how often she brings male friends to the house to begin with.
That's obviously your decision.
But I would not say automatically no.
I would talk to the person, though.
I would find that most interesting.

Inflation is a destroyer of lives.
Well, there's a number of compounding factors here as well.
Not only all the money is being printed, but you look at the CPI numbers that came out in February.
Half of the inflationary pressures here were energy-related.
And so when you combine the massive spending plus the Green New Deal that's going to put pressure here on oil, natural gas, just energy prices in general, this used to be comparative advantage for us here to beat China long-term because of our energy independence.

Hi, Alessa.
Hi.
How are you?
Good.
I just wanted to comment that I heard the previous call and...
I think that the woman needs to take just a moment and think about her daughter, why she asked that question, and number one, was she asking to be challenging and difficult, or was she asking sincerely?
And if she was asked to be challenging, you know, her response has to be appropriate to either...
The reason why the daughter was asking.
If she was trying to challenge her, then it requires a discussion of why the woman reacted the way she did.
Either way, she has to say why she reacted the way she did.
But, you know, talk about what her values are and why she feels that it's a problem for her.
Or, if it was a sincere question, again, just go over her values.
That's right.
I agree with you.
I'm sorry to let you go.
We have very little time.
Yes.
Look, I have a standard that has worked in my life, and that is standards in the macro, compassion in the micro.
I believe that there are two sexes.
So, by the way, transgender does not deny that there are two sexes.
They simply are individuals who identify as the other sex.
I think that in the case of Bruce Jenner becoming Caitlyn Jenner, That obviously brought great suffering and pain in the family.
You're married to a man and then the man becomes a woman.
Dad becomes a mom.
That's pretty rough stuff on other people.
And I think that this is a decent human being.
So my attitude on the individual level is compassion.
However, my anger is not with transgender.
My anger is with those who deny that there are only men and women.
This non-binary stuff you're taught at college.
My anger is those who believe that there is no price paid for having biological men compete against biological women.
Or that it is okay for a 16-year-old girl who identifies as a boy to have her healthy breasts cut off?
There are a lot of issues, so Alessa, you are right.
And these are issues I would talk to my daughter who asked that question of me.
