Dennis Prager Show - Hospital denies ICU patient ivermectin treatment Aired: 2021-05-06 Duration: 04:54 === Ivermectin Controversy (04:54) === [00:00:00] Did you read this article? [00:00:03] Chicago Tribune. [00:00:05] First of all, the very way they cover it, to receive controversial medication. [00:00:14] Ivermectin has been used for decades with millions of people. [00:00:19] It's about as safe a drug as exists in the world. [00:00:24] Controversial? [00:00:26] Some people were hurt when they used a form of it for horses. [00:00:32] Am I supposed to crack up? [00:00:34] Is that a joke? [00:00:39] Large doses can be fatal. [00:00:42] Large doses of what cannot be fatal? [00:00:45] Large doses of aspirin can be fatal. [00:00:50] You know how many Americans died because of the FDA opposition? [00:00:55] And the CDC opposition to ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine and zinc? [00:01:01] There are epidemiologists who believe most of those who died would have lived had they been given these simple, safe drugs. [00:01:12] This is the age of the irrational, led by the media, the despicable, lying, fraudulent media, who are killers. [00:01:22] Absolute killers. [00:01:25] In aiding and abetting this medical fraud. [00:01:31] Another federal agency, the National Institutes of Health, has taken a more measured stance, saying that while the drug is well-tolerated when used for its intended purposes, there isn't enough information to allow a recommendation for or against using it to treat COVID-19. [00:01:47] Wait, so it's well-tolerated? [00:01:51] So if it's well-tolerated, what's the risk? [00:01:56] Wait, it's well tolerated if you have a lupus, but it's not well tolerated if you have COVID? Elmhurst Hospital's attorney, Joseph Monahan, said at the hearing, none of its doctors would agree to administer ivermectin for COVID-19. [00:02:17] Now you know why I have contempt for the medical profession? [00:02:19] That is example 56. The percentage of doctors who were fools is so large that it is painful to me. [00:02:30] Painful. [00:02:31] I was not aware of it. [00:02:37] I was not aware of it. [00:02:39] It's so sad... [00:02:48] It is such sad news. [00:02:52] Not one Doctor in the hospital would administer to a comatose COVID patient on a ventilator. [00:03:00] The ventilator is safe. [00:03:01] You hear? [00:03:02] This is safe. [00:03:03] The ventilator, the kiss of death ventilator is safe, but ivermectin isn't. [00:03:12] An internal ethics panel concluded its use could not be justified. [00:03:17] Are you listening to this? [00:03:21] Elmhurst Hospital's internal ethics panel concluded its use could not be justified on a comatose, COVID-ventilated patient. [00:03:35] He argued that judges should not overrule medical decisions. [00:03:39] Oh, God forbid! [00:03:42] The court doesn't have the authority to order a medical corporation to use particular medications, particularly when it's an off-label use, particularly when the federal government has said it could be dangerous. [00:03:57] Judge James Orrell pointed to an affidavit from Fipe's physician. [00:04:02] Fipe, again, is the woman who's comatose. [00:04:05] Dr. William Cravere of Orland Park, in which the doctor said he has used the drug successfully for COVID-19 patients since last year. [00:04:14] If Elmhurst doctors don't want to use ivermectin, the judge said, they should allow Cravere to administer it. [00:04:23] Right? [00:04:25] Why is that doctor less holy than the hospital's doctors, who are cowards? [00:04:34] Why wouldn't this be tried if she's not improving? [00:04:37] The judge said. [00:04:39] Yes. [00:04:41] Why wouldn't we try the ivermectin? [00:04:44] So masks after vaccine outside should be worn, but ivermectin on a patient on a ventilator should not be used.
