Dennis Prager Show - Dennis Asks Ami Horowitz Why He Hasn't Been Cancelled Aired: 2021-04-21 Duration: 03:29 === Minneapolis Risks (03:28) === [00:00:00] Ami Horowitz really embodies courage, common sense, and you can see his videos up at YouTube. [00:00:11] By the way, how do you explain the fact that they're still up? [00:00:17] My videos? [00:00:18] Yes. [00:00:20] Look, it's hard to explain. [00:00:22] It's a constant battle. [00:00:23] They've been better than they were in the past. [00:00:25] A couple years ago, they were pulling down a whole bunch of my videos. [00:00:31] I have had the luxury of being able to tweet at YouTube a couple times and getting thousands of retweets at them and then have them, in fact, the CEO of YouTube tweeted back and apologized for taking them down. [00:00:49] So I've been lucky, but not a lot of people have been afforded the same type of luck, for sure. [00:00:55] That's right, yes, you have. [00:00:57] Including you guys. [00:00:57] Well, we're lucky that you're up. [00:01:00] So, just as an example, Ami Horowitz, and we covered that, of course, Ami Horowitz went on a refugee boat with Muslims from the Middle East over to Greece. [00:01:16] A boat is really overstating. [00:01:19] Yeah, yeah, right. [00:01:20] Raft. [00:01:21] A very poorly made Chinese raft. [00:01:26] That's right. [00:01:27] And now you're in a more dangerous place, Minneapolis. [00:01:31] Is that correct? [00:01:33] Yeah, shocking that I would feel less comfortable in Minneapolis than I would in Gaza or on a rickety raft across the open Aegean Sea. [00:01:43] I've got to say, I've started to hire security people. [00:01:51] I've had too many situations where I was in a very bad and very alarming place and decided, why not reduce my risk somewhat? [00:02:01] And I've got to say, after I talk to security people, I tell them what we're going to do. [00:02:06] It's hard to find security people who are willing to do it in Minneapolis. [00:02:09] That's how dangerous it's becoming. [00:02:10] That's how volatile. [00:02:12] The situation is. [00:02:13] And, of course, you have Democratic leaders pouring fire all over this Volvo jerry can of gasoline. [00:02:22] So, yeah, it's... [00:02:23] Man, it's going to get real quick. [00:02:28] Well, let's see. [00:02:29] So, is your hotel in Minneapolis or St. Paul? [00:02:33] No, so I'm in Minneapolis. [00:02:35] You know, I'm in downtown Minneapolis, right? [00:02:37] A bustling city in normal times. [00:02:39] And the entire... [00:02:41] You don't see anyone walking the streets. [00:02:44] All you have are, thank God, but all you have are National Guard on every block. [00:02:51] They have different streets are kind of cut off, kind of crazy little bottlenecks. [00:02:57] They are preparing for, and this is all, because I'm a block away from the courthouse. [00:03:05] The problem is they can only be at so many places at one time. [00:03:09] They can secure downtown. [00:03:10] The truth is, downtown is usually never where the epicenter of the rioting occurs in Minneapolis. [00:03:18] It happens somewhere outside the city. [00:03:20] Right. [00:03:20] All right. [00:03:21] Hold that thought. [00:03:22] I want to continue with you. [00:03:24] He's really gone to the belly of the beast. [00:03:26] The fact... [00:03:27] I'll have a lot of comments.
