Dennis Prager Show - James O'Keefe Exposes CNN... Again! Aired: 2021-04-20 Duration: 05:37 === James O'Keefe's Legal Battle (05:33) === [00:00:01] They have been in the news recently for the remarkable, in other words, worthy of a remark, but not worthy of wonder. [00:00:09] Nobody was surprised. [00:00:11] That a CNN executive acknowledged that they were a propaganda machine for the last four years and for the election and much else, including frightening people for ratings and the like. [00:00:27] James O'Keefe had this man speak to someone that this man had been seeing in a situation. [00:00:37] James has now been banned from Twitter, they say permanently, and is suing Twitter, among others, and needless to say, I'm with you, James. [00:00:51] What exactly will you be doing now? [00:00:57] I'm not hearing James, guys. [00:01:03] Everything is connected properly, and I'm not hearing James. [00:01:08] I feel bad for me. [00:01:10] I feel bad for James. [00:01:14] The line went dead. [00:01:18] We have very problematic lines. [00:01:23] Alright, we will get him back. [00:01:25] He is suing Twitter. [00:01:27] He is suing CNN. I believe the New York Times. [00:01:32] What these companies have become is an American form of Pravda, as is clearly the case with CNN and all of them. [00:01:48] Journalism has been corrupted. [00:01:52] Well, what hasn't, my friends? [00:01:56] It is a purely negative force, leftism. [00:02:02] So they need to be sued by many people. [00:02:07] They even banned the New York Post article on the BLM head who spent $3 million on a few homes. [00:02:17] All right, James, I'm sorry about that. [00:02:20] I have no control over the world of technology. [00:02:24] Well, Dennis, I appreciate you having me on again, and I just want to say that we are filing a Twitter lawsuit today. [00:02:33] I was banned on Friday for, quote, making fake accounts, unquote. [00:02:39] That's a defamatory statement. [00:02:41] And we're filing a lawsuit, probably in New York, literally in a matter of hours from now. [00:02:46] And for those of you who think I'm bluffing or just doing this for a publicity stunt, your audience may or may not know. [00:02:53] That Project Veritas recently won in the Supreme Court of the State of New York in a defamation action against the New York Times. [00:03:02] We're one of only a handful of people who have accomplished this in the last few decades. [00:03:07] So that means, Dennis, that we intend to get videotaped discovery into Twitter's operations, since we're already going to be doing that, into the New York Times. [00:03:17] And we intend to publish the people under oath. [00:03:21] Because, Dennis, there's no other option. [00:03:23] We have to go on offense. [00:03:24] We have to hold them accountable. [00:03:25] They banned me on Twitter because our video exposés of CNN were too true and effective and they needed to get rid of me. [00:03:33] And this is just principles that we're fighting for here that are universal. [00:03:37] So we're not going to back down. [00:03:38] I think that's fantastic. [00:03:42] The lawyers, I'm not asking their names, but the lawyers you have, you're confident in. [00:03:50] Well, I'll tell you this. [00:03:52] If I can tell you the firm, we hired Claire Locke, Libby Locke, one of the best defamation lawyers in the country against the New York Times. [00:04:00] And we're hiring Harmeet Dillon, who you all may know in California, who's an expert on Silicon Valley. [00:04:07] But they may have immunity under Section 230, but this is not that. [00:04:12] This is different. [00:04:13] They've made a statement about me. [00:04:17] Right, that's right. [00:04:18] They're immune if somebody else makes a statement about you, but they're not immune if they make a statement. [00:04:25] That's correct. [00:04:27] That's correct. [00:04:28] And I just want to highlight this because I think it's so important, because I know this is a little in the weeds, but when we sued the New York Times, the justice in New York State put out a 16-page order, and they said it was the New York Times that apparently engaged in disinformation and deception. [00:04:45] And you have to remember, these people accuse us of what they do. [00:04:48] They're masters of projection. [00:04:50] So they may be impersonating things, and I've had people try to impersonate my own employees, which I never do. [00:04:57] And I just think it's important for us to do something about the problems in society. [00:05:02] We have to actually fight them. [00:05:04] The only way that I know how is through the country's libel laws. [00:05:07] You do have a recourse under... [00:05:10] Defamation law. [00:05:11] You can go after these people when they intentionally lie about you. [00:05:14] You just can't do that. [00:05:16] So, Dennis, I'm not bluffing. [00:05:17] No, no, no. === Five Minutes Left (00:17) === [00:05:19] You're one of those who fight on the good side. [00:05:24] You're not the typical guy on our side. [00:05:28] Listen, I don't know if you have time or not. [00:05:30] Do you? [00:05:32] I have another five minutes or so. [00:05:35] Okay, because, well, I've got to take a commercial break.
