Dennis Prager Show - Here is Joe Biden's Solution to the Border Crisis! Aired: 2021-03-26 Duration: 05:37 === Sending $100 Billion? (05:11) === [00:00:00] Hi, everybody. [00:00:01] I'm Dennis Prager. [00:00:02] Welcome to the Dennis Prager Show. [00:00:04] This is a new thing, isn't it? [00:00:06] I've never heard a president say that. [00:00:09] The solution to the illegal immigration problem is to make its life so good in Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, and presumably Mexico, that they will not want to come. [00:00:24] I sit almost in awe at the naivete. [00:00:28] And I am so generous in saying naivete because I really have more severe words to say about what I think about that idea. [00:00:37] How exactly could that be implemented? [00:00:41] What are we going to do? [00:00:44] I'm serious. [00:00:46] I don't even understand. [00:00:46] Send them $100 billion. [00:00:48] Let's say we send $100 billion to Guatemala. [00:00:51] Do me a favor, please. [00:00:53] Look up the GDP of Guatemala. [00:00:56] And so we send $100 billion. [00:00:58] Because you could print that money. [00:01:01] You bring it over on horseback. [00:01:05] It's an interesting question. [00:01:07] How many trunks would that be filled? [00:01:16] $77 billion. [00:01:17] There you go. [00:01:18] I had a feeling. [00:01:19] That's more than their GDP. Imagine sending a country, how about $77 billion? [00:01:24] We will double your GBP for free. [00:01:27] Here's $77 billion. [00:01:29] $27 billion in El Salvador. [00:01:31] $27 billion in El Salvador. [00:01:33] Oh, my God, it's even way cheaper. [00:01:35] Sorry? [00:01:35] $25 billion Honduras. [00:01:36] And $25 billion Honduras. [00:01:38] Well, my first choice is Honduras because I love Honduran cigars. [00:01:41] Just for the record, I have a very selfish... [00:01:44] I would personally help invest. [00:01:46] I do. [00:01:47] I invest in Nicaragua, which unfortunately is... [00:01:50] The communist government there. [00:01:53] And Honduras. [00:01:54] I help out Honduras with my cigar purchases. [00:01:58] But in a more serious manner, what exactly are we going to do? [00:02:03] I want you to know what would happen if we gave $50 billion. [00:02:07] So let's be realistic. [00:02:09] $50 billion. [00:02:09] Or the GDPs. [00:02:11] Match the GDPs. [00:02:12] 25, 27. And whatever the Guatemala was. [00:02:17] Guatemala was way higher. [00:02:18] That's really interesting. [00:02:22] Guatemala's doing much better than El Salvador and Honduras? [00:02:25] I don't think they have that much bigger of a population, so I think they must have a more prosperous... [00:02:31] But they're coming from Guatemala just as much as from El Salvador and Honduras. [00:02:35] Now, obviously, Mexico's gigantic GDP in comparison. [00:02:39] But let us say we match their GDP. I'll tell you what would happen. [00:02:44] About half of it would immediately go to enrich government leaders. [00:02:51] And leaders in labor and leaders in the military pay off the people to support the state. [00:02:57] That is what is done in every one of these countries. [00:03:00] Remember Angola? [00:03:01] When we visited Angola in West Africa, Southwest Africa? [00:03:08] And we had to be escorted in Angola. [00:03:13] By police. [00:03:14] It was so dangerous. [00:03:17] And it's all corruption. [00:03:18] It's all it is. [00:03:19] It's just corruption. [00:03:24] It's really a sort of... [00:03:27] It's like a bailout as the bailout of California is by the Rescue America Act. [00:03:39] And what does it go to? [00:03:41] It just goes to... [00:03:42] Further corruption in the state of California. [00:03:45] That's all it does. [00:03:49] But I mean, realistically, my friends, what could be done? [00:03:57] That is his solution. [00:03:59] And by the way, obviously everyone knows it would take a generation. [00:04:03] So what happens in the course of the 20 years that a generation might constitute? [00:04:09] What happens? [00:04:11] Do we close the border or not, Mr. President? [00:04:15] Let us say your dream works. [00:04:17] We make Guatemala prosperous. [00:04:19] Nobody wants to leave or very few wish to leave. [00:04:23] In fact, Americans start going into Guatemala. [00:04:26] It's so prosperous. [00:04:28] Or Honduras. [00:04:31] To have an apartment in Tegucigalpa? [00:04:34] It's like an American dream. [00:04:37] Give me a condo in Tegucigalpa. [00:04:41] That's the capital of Honduras, by the way. [00:04:44] And I broadcast from there. [00:04:46] Remember that? [00:04:47] That was quite something. [00:04:52] All right, everybody. [00:04:54] 1-8 Prager 776. The solution to illegal immigration in the millions is not barriers at the border of the United States. === Ruin And Repel (00:40) === [00:05:07] It is to make life so good. [00:05:10] That people won't want to come here. [00:05:14] Actually, the Democrats will make life so bad here, people may not want to come here. [00:05:22] That's another possible solution. [00:05:24] That's the real Democratic solution. [00:05:27] Ruin America so that nobody wants to come in. [00:05:31] They're not stupid. [00:05:32] There you go. [00:05:33] That's the solution. [00:05:34] That's the Democrat solution. [00:05:37] Right?
