Dennis Prager Show - Why Antifa Fills the Void With Violence Aired: 2021-03-11 Duration: 08:44 === Antifa's Soulless Violence (08:09) === [00:00:00] These are lost souls who express their being lost in violence. [00:00:05] That's what they are. [00:00:07] If you actually met an Antifa person, you would meet a lost soul. [00:00:12] They don't know who they are, so they fill the void with fire and smashing and beating and cursing. [00:00:25] That's what they fill, the emptiness in their souls. [00:00:29] Why they're so soulless, only God knows. [00:00:34] Andy Ngo wrote a book. [00:00:36] Did we have Andy on for the book? [00:00:41] About what happened, about Antifa and Oregon. [00:00:45] By the way, this week's video at PragerU is about a guy who was in Antifa and left it. [00:00:55] I don't know at what point you say something has gone viral, but it seems to have gone viral. [00:01:04] in three days it already has a million views just on YouTube and that doesn't count the views directly on PragerU for example or Facebook so there's a band Mumford& Son. [00:01:24] Were you familiar with Mumford& Son, Sean? [00:01:28] Were you familiar with this band? [00:01:30] Because you know popular... [00:01:31] It's a big... [00:01:33] Mumford& Sons. [00:01:35] You're sure? [00:01:36] Yeah, Sons, you're right. [00:01:37] The headline is wrong. [00:01:40] So, the banjoist praised the book. [00:01:45] Where is this from? [00:01:47] I don't see the source. [00:01:48] But anyway. [00:01:49] Fox News. [00:01:50] Here we go. [00:01:53] Mumford& Sons banjoist Winston Marshall announced he would step away from the popular band after backlash over simply complimenting an anti-Antifa book by conservative author Andy Ngo. [00:02:10] I gathered it was Mumford& Sons. [00:02:12] You didn't have to tell me that. [00:02:15] I didn't think it was the Minnesota Orchestra. [00:02:21] Mumford and Sun Tzu, so here we go. [00:02:23] Oh, now listen to this. [00:02:24] The whole thing is so angering, what America has come to. [00:02:31] Guy endorses a book and loses his livelihood. [00:02:34] You know, had he endorsed a book by a communist, nothing would have happened. [00:02:43] By an avowed communist. [00:02:49] Over the past few days, I've come to better understand the pain caused by the book I endorsed. [00:02:56] That's what he wrote. [00:02:57] It's so sad. [00:02:58] This is the sad part. [00:02:59] This is the Chinese Cultural Revolution in America. [00:03:07] Not only doesn't it work, it's invalid. [00:03:12] What did he do that was wrong? [00:03:14] Andy Ngo wrote a book about thugs called Antifa. [00:03:17] If you can't say that the book is good, then the country has lost its moral bearings. [00:03:24] And it has. [00:03:25] It just has. [00:03:26] Half this country is morally blind. [00:03:30] If you can't call Antifa evil, then you do not qualify as a person with a conscience. [00:03:38] Okay? [00:03:41] It's that simple. [00:03:46] Over the past few days, I have come to better understand the pain caused by the book I endorsed. [00:03:51] I have offended not only a lot of people I don't know, but also those closest to me, including my bandmates, and for that I am truly sorry. [00:04:02] Then your bandmates stink. [00:04:07] But he can't come to that conclusion. [00:04:12] People attack you? [00:04:15] Because you liked a book that attacks Antifa? [00:04:21] Do you understand the sickness that we've come to in this country? [00:04:24] Everything the left touches, it ruins. [00:04:26] This is another example. [00:04:28] Mumford& Sons is composed of fools. [00:04:31] Gigantic, cowardly fools for getting on this guy. [00:04:36] They couldn't say, hey, he's a great guy. [00:04:39] Whether you like his book or not, we're playing, man. [00:04:43] Nah, you can't do that. [00:04:45] Money Uberalis. [00:04:49] I'm taking time away from the band to examine my blind spots, Marshall said in a statement. [00:04:55] For now, please know that I realize how my endorsements have the potential to be viewed as approvals of hatred and divisive behavior. [00:05:11] Hatred. [00:05:13] Yes, hatred of evil. [00:05:16] Tuesday, that was yesterday, my ultimate issues hour was Bible verses that are the opposite of the left. [00:05:26] And one of the biggest was, those of you who love God must hate evil. [00:05:31] If you don't hate evil, you don't love God. [00:05:33] If you don't hate Antifa, you don't love God. [00:05:36] Alright? [00:05:37] Because, how could you not see? [00:05:43] Well, it's a stupid question. [00:05:48] Masses of people have not seen evil in their time. [00:05:52] You know when they see evil? [00:05:53] When it's over. [00:05:56] Now everybody writes about how evil Ho Chi Minh was. [00:06:00] Now that's common. [00:06:01] You know, he was a Stalinist. [00:06:04] But during his time, people, my generation was chanting, Ho Ho Ho Chi Minh! [00:06:11] Ho Ho Ho Chi Minh! [00:06:15] The trick, my friends, is not to see evil from the past. [00:06:18] is to see evil in the present. [00:06:21] I realize how my endorsements have the potential to be viewed Do you understand? [00:06:31] All of these statements from Drew Brees to him, these statements the next day, this is Chinese cultural revolution. [00:06:45] Confessions. [00:06:46] That's it. [00:06:46] Confessions. [00:06:47] That's what they did. [00:06:49] These are forced confessions of BS. I apologize, as this was not at all my intention. [00:07:02] In a now-deleted tweet that sparked outrage, Marshall congratulated No for writing, quote, unmasked inside Antifa's radical plan to destroy democracy. [00:07:13] Marshall, who had less than 8,000 followers as of Wednesday morning, called the book important and praised the conservative author. [00:07:23] Finally had the time to read your important book, You're a Brave Man, Marshall wrote in the now-deleted tweet. [00:07:29] It appears he has deleted all of his previous tweets too, as only the apology remains on his timeline. [00:07:37] Everybody, this book should sell in the millions. [00:07:45] It has been a bestseller. [00:07:47] It has been a bestseller? [00:07:48] Is Amazon still carrying it? [00:07:51] Amazon doesn't even carry Clarence Thomas' documentary. === Report a Hater (00:49) === [00:07:56] Isn't that astonishing? [00:08:02] Andy, no. [00:08:03] Noah spelled N-G-O. This is the way it works now for the left. [00:08:09] You can destroy, you can loot, you can arson, commit arson, you could burn police cars, you could destroy people's whole livelihoods, destroying their businesses. [00:08:23] And then if you report what they did, you're a hater. [00:08:28] You're divisive. [00:08:30] How's that, eh? [00:08:33] Allow us to destroy, but you may not say we're destroying. [00:08:38] Then you're a hater. [00:08:41] So much from Mumford& Sons.
