I didn't think I would say a word about the following subject, and I have not said a word about the following subject.
However, there is a point of saturation within the news world where to ignore it is...
To ignore something that has become significant.
It's a very interesting thing in life.
Something may be unimportant, but it can be manufactured, can be artificially created as important, and then it becomes important.
The importance is the importance attached to it, not the it.
So there's nothing I can do about that.
Let's think of an example.
Yes.
The Charlottesville lie.
The president never said that they were good or fine Nazis.
Never said it.
We have a video up at PragerU, which proves the case.
And in fact, he condemned the white suppressors.
When he spoke about fine people on both sides, he was not talking about Antifa and white supremacists.
He doesn't think Antifa's fine people.
That alone should have proved that he wasn't talking about either of them.
Do you think Antifa's fine people?
If Antifa's fine people, then I'd like to know what your criteria are in defining a fine person.
Anyway, but the hysteria became important.
The hysteria may be the news item.
So anyway, what am I talking about?
about I'm talking about the royal family so let me just tell you there's a lot going on here Almost none of which is committed to fairness, to truth.
There's great antipathy to the royal family on the part of the British press and the elites.
They think that monarchy is pathetic.
They don't think it's...
It's undemocratic because it has nothing to do.
It doesn't in any way undermine democracy.
Queen Elizabeth, who has reigned with great dignity, has never entered the political arena.
So you have to understand that reporting, to begin with, Is skewed against the royal family.
Now, I have to admit...
Is it Prince Charles?
Who is my...
Who is the dad of the two...
Yeah, it is Prince Charles, right.
Now, I have to admit that if Prince Charles becomes king...
Let me put it to you this way.
I root for Queen Elizabeth's long and longer life.
I don't want to develop that further.
I'm not a big booster of Prince Charles.
He is what we call woke, and Britain does not need a woke king.
Okay.
Nevertheless, there is something beautiful to tradition.
And that's a dividing line between left and right.
The right believes that if the tradition does not actively promote something immoral, it should be retained because tradition is healthy.
The left believes tradition should be destroyed.
Whether it is standing for the flag before a sporting event or the monarchy in England.
We need progress.
Or the favorite word of people on the left.
The favorite.
It actually increases the pleasure hormone in people on the left.
And that word is change.
If you're on the left, change is a source of great joy.
It borders on the sensual, meaning the senses.
It's the joy that you have in eating, smelling a flower, or in intimacy with one's better half.
That's what the word change does.
Remember the Barack Obama campaign?
Hope and change!
Like America needed either.
Hope.
Like we're in a hopeless country.
Today we need hope, ironically.
In large measure because of things he did.
Not to mention inflict upon us Joe Biden.
As inept a president as we have ever had.
But that is another matter.
The matter here is the antipathy to the tradition of the monarchy.
So, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, they decided to leave the royal family.
Okay, they decide to leave royalty.
No, they have not removed their titles?
Well, they have removed their uniforms or something.
Whatever the specifics of the case, they have removed themselves from that world.
Which, I think, is their prerogative.
They're human beings.
They're free people.
They don't want to be saddled with the burden of royalty.
Okay?
Britain is largely a free country.
And they left.
Now, dignified people would understand that this is...
Close to unprecedented, if not unprecedented.
And it's a jolt to the royal family.
So one would leave, hopefully with dignity, with a sense of understanding, I have done something injurious to this world, whatever I might think of it.
And he presumably was close to his brother.
But all that was left behind when he married Prince Harry, when he married Meghan Markle, now the Duchess of Sussex.
She wanted to be the Duchess of Sussex like I want to be a beekeeper.
Maybe the analogy is not perfect.
I might prefer being a beekeeper.
So, I don't think that's accurate.
I think she wanted to be?
You think she wanted to be?
That's what she wanted.
It didn't turn out the way she wanted.
Oh, all right, fine.
So you have a different read.
She wanted to remain in Britain.
Oh, okay.
Oh, so she wanted to remain...
In the royal family in America or Canada?
That's not tenable.
The British family resides in Britain, the British royal family.
So I think it's fair to say what I said.
And that should be it.
Whatever inner turmoil, human to human, Every family virtually has some tension.
They had some tension.
I don't want to know about it.
Do you know that that's my view of most of these matters?
I don't want to know about it.
I didn't want to know about Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky.
I did not talk about it until he looked in the camera and said he did nothing with her.
That's right.
I was probably the only major talk show host who said nothing for months.
I don't want to know about the inner workings of the royalty.
I'm not a voyeur.
It's not one of my weak areas.
And then she said what she said on Oprah, and I will deal with that when we come back.
Thank you.
Matt Meyer is president of the Berkeley Federation of Teachers, a union leading the effort to keep children at home, insisting that reopening schools is just too unsafe.
So jaws dropped when video of him was seen taking his own daughter to in-person preschool.
The episode highlights the hypocrisy and cynicism evident in too much COVID policy, especially in education.
School districts with strong teachers unions are less likely to hold in-person classes.
Meanwhile, our children remain trapped at home, suffering from social isolation and learning loss.
The achievement gap has increased, and there's a worsening youth mental health crisis.
Parents have stood by helplessly at the mercy of the unions, even as the CDC admits that schools can reopen safely.
In-person learning shouldn't be reserved for children of the privileged.
Our kids deserve policies that put their rightful needs over the self-serving demands of union elites.

The last thing we need is the Neanderthal thinking that, in the meantime, everything's fine.
Take off your mask.
Forget it.
It still matters.
I carry a card, and I don't have it.
I put it on my desk.
As of yesterday, we had lost 511,874 Americans.
Who's the Neanderthal?
He needs a card to remind him.
He needed a card to...
Last time and now he's left it on his desk.
Did you see what he did in that video?
Who's the Neanderthal?
What has Fauci told us a million times?
What has the CDC told us a thousand times?
Don't touch your mask.
And he touches it right in the middle where he's breathing through it.
And then he's going to touch the table.
He's going to touch the Resolute Desk.
Who's the Neanderthal now?
Now let's stop for a second.
On his choice of words.
Shad thinks it's not as bad as deplorable because...
Because why, Shad?
Well, because it might be tough for the average red-blooded American to go around calling themselves a Neanderthal.
It was easy to take up deplorable.
Because it's got too many syllables?
No, no, no.
Of course not.
Of course not.
But it has a stronger connotation, you know?
It's more direct.
It's not...
You're outside of the norm, it's you're stupid.
And that's a totally different ballgame.
But isn't the Neanderthal the alpha of alpha males?
Well, historically, actually, women were far more attracted to Neanderthals than they were the Homo erectus, which is why there's a lot of Neanderthal blood in most Europeans.
There's a reason why the missing link is still missing, you know?
He was a bit of a beta male.
Okay, seriously, let's analyze.
I want to praise Governor Greg Abbott for announcing that he is going to fully open the state of Texas.
He's been a little bit slow to the draw.
He locked down too much back in the spring, but he is doing the right thing.
Brenna has emailed us, and it's a great question.
Charlie, Governor Abbott finally stepped up and had the courage to open Texas 100%.
You're right.
He also removed the mask mandate and we can breathe again.
I'm thinking he took notes from Ron DeSantis.
You're right.
So proud of his courage.
However, many people are saying he made the wrong choice.
How can this be?
Why would people not want their freedom back?
Love the show.
Listen to you every day.

Hello, y'all. y'all.
Hey, I got a good word to put in here for the folks at Sierra Pacific Mortgage who have been with me for a year now from the beginning of the lockdown.
They've been handling your house loans.
It's a very impressive bunch of guys here who have done this.
And I need to tell you about them.
All right, everybody. ...
AndrewandTodd.com at SierraPacificMortgage, AndrewandTodd.com.
They have the best rates possible.
And they work very hard, truly hard for you.
They have been working since the beginning of the pandemic.
AndrewandTodd.com There's no obligation, but if you want to do a refi, a new fi, reverse mortgage, these are the guys.
AndrewandTodd.com at Sierra Pacific Mortgage.
I've only gotten wonderful feedback about them.
So I'm talking to you.
About the subject that I have not said a word about.
I have a moral issue, a moral problem with people talking about the problems of their families to the world.
Why don't others have this moral problem?
Because the royal family is famous, so it's fun to peep in.
The Oprah interview was voyeurism.
That's all it was.
Let's hear about how crappy your life is.
Meghan Markle's life, I can't tell you.
The moment I hear about suffering is a picture of Meghan Markle in my mind.
It's really worthy of a happiness hour subject.
And crying incessantly, then it shows circumstances do not produce happiness or unhappiness.
We produce unhappiness and unhappiness.
The poor thing.
And then the racial remarks.
Somebody said, what's the exact line?
Oh, it's in the paper?
Yeah.
In those months when I was pregnant, and at the same time, there was talk about no title, no security, and also conversations about how dark his skin might be when born, said the Duchess, who identifies as biracial and has a black mother and white father.
Meghan and Harry, this is USA Today, would not elaborate further, though Winfrey said Monday on CBS this morning that Harry had neither Queen Elizabeth nor Prince Philip were involved in those conversations.
Harry said neither of them were involved.
Oh my God.
So what is the royal family supposed to do when she tells tens of millions of people that somebody made this comment?
We don't know who made the comment.
And it wasn't the most important people of the family who made the comment.
I got a question for you, my dear friends.
I'm sure the answer is no, but I just figured I'd throw it out anyway.
Has anyone...
And your extended family made a foolish comment?
I know the answer is no.
But she's saddled with a family in which somewhere, somebody said this.
And what is it exactly that they said?
Conversations about how dark his skin might be when born.
So...
Why is that necessarily racist?
By the way, she's particularly light-colored.
He is as white as I am, which is really white.
In fact, it's a new color in Crayola.
It's called Dennis White.
And the baby...
I'm told I don't think I've gotten a good look at the baby.
It's quite light.
I personally don't give a hoot.
Race means zero to me.
However, that's the headlines because the media have two agendas.
Crap on the royal family and make a mountain out of a molehill.
So people keep watching, listening, and reading.
That's it!
That's what's going on.
The civil liberties in the free world have never been as attacked as right now, and we're talking about a line made by the wife of a prince who has left the royal family's royalty.
And we're talking about a comment made which is not even necessarily racist.
So she wanted, why did she even mention this?
Because she wants to hurt them.
There's no other reason.
And with the use of the media, you know, Pierce Morgan, I gotta say, the guy walked off his program.
Did you see that?
He was so ticked at Sean.
I don't know why.
Probably for not giving the commercial words last break.
And he just walked off?
I must say about Piers Morgan, he's a gutsy guy and one of the only unpredictable commentators in the world.
I do.
Times on this program, a number of times.
And I understand that you've got a personal relationship with Meghan Markle or had one and she cut you off.
She's entitled to cut you off if she wants to.
Has she said anything about you since she cut you off?
I don't think she has, but yet you continue to trash her.
OK, I'm done with this.
No, no, no.
Sorry, no.
Do you know what?
That's pathetic.
You can trash me, mate, but not mine.
No, no, no.
See you later.
I'm being...
Sorry, can't do this.
This is absolutely diabolical behavior.
Diabolical?
I'm sorry, but Pierce spouts off.
I mean, that sounds like, uh, that's a little over the top.
Good morning, Britain.
That's an action moment.
How often does a co-host leave?
Alan has never walked out on me.
I just want you to know that.
We shall return.

Politicians created a box canyon with lockdowns last spring that were originally intended to flatten the curve.
It's all we heard.
Flatten the curve.
Every time governors loosened restrictions and cases ticked up, Democrats would demand lockdowns.
Not that lockdowns or mask mandates much helped California or New York which experienced bigger surges this winter than Florida did with neither.
Can I repeat that please?
Lockdowns or mask mandates didn't help California or New York very much which experienced bigger surges this winter than Florida did with neither.
Vaccines were supposed to enable Americans more or less to get back to their before-COVID lives.
Youth sports, eating out, family gatherings, even going outside, walking outside without a mask.
The Wall Street Journal editorial board says it's probably still prudent to wear masks in public settings indoors for a few more months.
And businesses like Starbucks and Target plan to continue requiring them.
But liberals and their public health friends...
Don't seem to want the pandemic to end.
Ever.
Ever.
Some lockdown advocates are warning that myriad new gene variants may be more infectious, though it's unclear if they are, and could render vaccines less effective.
They also warn that vaccinated individuals might still transmit the virus if they're asymptomatic, though the probability is low.
Ergo, pandemic restrictions must be maintained until we achieve herd immunity, which the experts also say may never happen because of new, more transmissible variants and the potential for reinfection.

First, the president called Texans Neanderthals yesterday.
What'd you make of that?
Yeah, the guy with low cognitive capacity is calling everybody else Neanderthals.
First of all, that's rich.
I also find it rich that he's doing his sanctimonious pearl clutching over a bunch of Texans who, by the way, can still wear masks.
I mean, by the reaction of the liberals on this one, you would think that Texas outlawed masks and is now arresting people who even wear a mask.
But the truth is, if you're vaccinated or if you already had it, maybe you don't want to wear a mask and you certainly don't need to.
There's no scientific reason to wear one.
But here's the thing.
So they're very sanctimonious over that.
But Biden has no problem letting illegal immigrants over the border in droves, many of which have COVID.
And then they give them a bus ticket to wherever they want in the United States.
So the double standard is pretty infuriating here. - So there's a lot in there, Congressman.
First of all, the guy with low cognitive capacity.
That's pretty rich.
That is going to make a couple of headlines, don't you think?
I don't know.
I guarantee you, a low cognitive...
It gets said so often, I'm not sure that it's a new hot take anymore.
Oh, it's a hot take from you, Congressman.
That's going to be interesting.
Prepare for incoming.
I know, I know.
Okay, the second thing is that letting...

Hello everybody, I'm Dennis Prager.
We might return to Meghan Markle.
I broke my silence.
As I said, when there is a massive amount of talk about something unimportant, the massive amount of talk becomes important.
And now turn to something really important, and that is H.R. 1. The first bill of Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats in Congress in the House.
John Fund, who is known as the Dean of American Journalists and Thinkers with regard to American Politics, is my guest.
John, I have never seen you in print as agitated, and I think you even wrote that, as you are with regard to H.R. 1.
It is the worst bill in 40 years of covering American politics.
There is nothing that has ever come close to undermining The fundamental foundation of our democracy, our republic, and our freedoms.
I just want to tell my listeners that, having spoken to you many times, you tend toward the understated in your approach.
So this gives what you're saying all the more credibility and power.
So, okay, let's review why it is so damaging, truly damaging.
Before we do, maybe there's an even bigger question.
What is the purpose of the bill?
The public stated purpose or the private behind-the-curtain purpose?
Well, I was thinking of the latter, but let's do both.
Well, of course.
It's for the people.
It's called the For the People Act.
It's going to expand voting.
It's going to stop nefarious Republican efforts to prevent voter fraud, which is obviously voter suppression.
And it's going to bring new transparency to American politics.
And it's going to crack down on corporate evildoers who are trying to influence our politics.
That's the public stated purpose.
Right.
Okay.
But in fact, what is it for?
It's a grab for one-party rule.
It so tilts the political playing field in the direction of one party, which is why not a single Republican voted for it.
What I call a one-and-a-half party democracy.
You'd have one party that is so advantaged and has so turned the wheels of democracy in its direction that you can't really count it a free and fair vote.
Okay, so is there, and this may be a naive question, is there one Democrat in the House?
That has misgivings about this bill?
Oh, there doesn't.
Absolutely.
I mean, there are Democrats I've talked to who say, you know, the only reason I'm voting for this is because Nancy Pelosi ordered me to, and you cannot cross the Queen, and I believe the Senate will kill it.
Will the Senate kill it?
Probably, but you can't be sure of that, because you have Democrats saying this is such an important bill.
Maybe we won't get rid of the filibuster, but maybe we'll find some way for just this one bill to get around the filibuster so we can pass it with 50 votes plus vice president.
In other words, there will not be one Democratic senator who will vote the other way.
It's possible that you may get one or two, but only after it's clear that there's public opposition.
That's why it's important for your listeners to oppose this bill.
The more that people learn about this bill, the less they will like it.
The less they will like it, the more they will protest it.
And the more some Democrats in moderate states, I'm thinking of Senator Sinema, I'm thinking of Arizona, Senator Manchin of West Virginia, Senator Tester of Montana, they may decide this is a nature one too far and not vote for it.
But they first must come to public opposition.
I want to get to the details for people to understand that this is pure corruption.
In the purest sense, that corruption has come to America.
It is Tammany Hall nationwide.
Tammany Hall was the old Democratic machine that used to steal votes with a bandit in New York City, and it was known as the antithesis of free and fair elections.
Let's look at, for starters, Dennis, just starters.
There are 32 states that have voter ID laws of some form or another.
This bill would say all of those laws, we are overriding them.
We are overriding all of those 32 state laws with a diktat from Washington.
And we are going to declare that no matter what your state legislature or your voters have passed, anyone could avoid the voter ID requirement by just signing a piece of paper saying, yeah, I am whom I say I am.
All right.
Hold it there, please.
John Fund is my guest.
My obvious question is, why is this even constitutional?
Isn't it up to the states to make their voting laws?
And now, R-E-L-I-E-F-F-A-C-T-O-R, relief factor.
Took it this morning.
Nobody pays me to take it.
My wife took it.
The living martyr.
Did you take it?
Or do you take it only when you get pain?
Take it regularly?
Amazing.
It's a phenomenal painkiller.
Try it for three weeks for $19.95.

Now, let's be very clear.
It's not complicated math.
Not having a mask mandate, not having the state say you have to, you are mandated to wear masks, does not in any way, shape or form prevent an American citizen from wearing a mask if they wish.
They could wear a level 4 biohazard suit to go shopping for a gallon of milk.
But the state does not require of you to wear a mask.
Because they treat you like an adult.
They think it's up to you.

Prevailing viewpoint over the last couple decades is people want to be free.
No.
They don't.
They want to be provided, stuffed, and taken care of.
They want to be beneficiaries of a welfare state.
Any glimmer of people wanting to be free is because they either have responsibility, they understand what freedom is, or they have a worldview that mandates them To be active and productive, like the Christian worldview.
Whereas the secular worldview does not require you to be active and productive.
Instead, it would require you to be complaining and sedentary.
Stationary.
Shelby Steele said on our live stream, you might have heard it, that the challenge today is not slavery.
It is freedom.
When God, through Moses, brought the Israelites out of Egypt into the wilderness.
They were being fed.
What did they start to do?
They started to complain.
They started to complain.
I'm with John Fund.
Dennis Prager here.
And John Fund is known affectionately and respectfully as the Dean of American Journalists.
Forty years in the profession, he's never seen as dangerous a bill as HR1. It's a takeover of elections to benefit Democrats.
It is truly, it is third-world corruption.
I really never thought I would use these words to describe something in America.
So I need to understand, John, when I say that, my listeners know it's not a euphemism for I just want to ask a question.
I don't understand how the government, the federal government, can tell states how to vote.
The Constitution gives the states the right to conduct...
As they wish.
But there is a carve-out for Congress, and this would be if there was a rogue state that prevented people from voting.
We had a civil rights struggle in the 1960s over that that allows Congress to override the states in an emergency, and it has only been used in emergency situations.
This would take that provision and expand it to the edges of the universe and basically We have a federal takeover of all state election laws.
Would or could that be challenged in the courts?
It would be challenged in the courts, but the law cleverly says that any challenge to H.R. 1 must be filed with the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.
That court was packed with liberal activist Democrats by Harry Reid.
Six years ago, they blew up the filibuster for judges just to make sure that four liberal judges could be added to that court.
That court would almost certainly reject any constitutional challenge to H.R. 1. Then the only appeal would be to the U.S. Supreme Court.
And then, of course, the same forces that have intimidated some justices on that court would be brought to bear.
So while the U.S. Supreme Court may well strike it down, would they strike down all of it or just portions of it?
And can we count on them doing that, or should we stop it now?
We should stop it now.
It's extremely scary, and I don't get scared easily.
So give some of the worst provisions.
Well, it mandates that all states must allow all felons to vote.
It forces same-day voter registration on states, which has been shown over and over again to encourage voter fraud.
It limits the ability of states.
To talk to each other to see if people are registered in one or more state.
It prevents any cleanup of voter rolls within six months of an election, which means the dead will be fully enfranchised.
Look, I admire our ancestors, but I don't believe in representation without respiration.
And it bans states from making any laws regulating voting by mail.
It demands that states adopt new redistricting commissions, which often are designed in such a way as to benefit one party or another.
It mandates that mandatory voter registration.
In other words, if your name appears on any government list, Dennis, the DMV, the property tax rolls, Medicare, anything, you are automatically registered to vote.
Now, many people appear on more than one list for the government.
In fact, some appear on dozens.
Well, all of you would be registered.
Including all variations of your name, middle, initial, and everything else.
That would create an incredible confusion and chaos, which clever people could use to manipulate and cast votes on your behalf or many of your doppelganger parts.
You know, it's interesting.
I don't know how much you follow this, but we have a recall campaign here where I live in California.
It is, of course, with regard to Gavin Newsom as governor.
They are so strict with regard to the credibility of each vote that even though you can have the recall election with 1.5 million signatures, they try for nearly 2 million because so many are thrown out because the color of the ink was not proper, the signature was not fully there.
On that, they're really strict.
Boy, have you identified their hypocrisy.
I'm from California, as you know, Dennis.
And here's just two things you have to know about how California election law is conducted.
California will ignore people registering to vote if they have problems with their paperwork, but they will, of course, enforce it for the recall of a Democratic governor.
And California is the only state in the country where it is illegal.
An election worker, an election official can go to jail if they ask someone for their voter ID. And will that be the national law under H.R. 1?
H.R. 1 is 975 pages.
975 pages just on voting law?
Oh, I'm sorry, the table of contents is 24 pages.
I'm going to put you on the spot.
Did you read it?
I have read...
Summaries of it.
I am skimming the rest of it.
I do not believe, as of yet, that they make it a requirement that every state make it a legal task for a voter ID. But remember, the voter ID law is gutted because they basically make it meaningless.
Right.
You also mentioned the length of time.
We have gone from election day to election month.
What exactly are they trying to do?
Well, think about this, Dennis.
Everything in your life happens faster and more conveniently than it ever did.
I mean, you can get a package delivered by Amazon in two hours.
You can get almost anything instantly on the Internet in terms of looking up something.
The only thing in our life that has slowed down since you and I were younger is election results, because so many people are being encouraged or compelled to vote by mail.
We have an election month.
In which people vote by mail in advance of the election, sometimes even before the debates are finished.
Then we have an election day where we count those people who insist on voting at the polls.
And then we have an election month afterwards so we can have courts fight about it and count the ballots.
All right, hold on to remember the California point.
Back in a moment with John Fund.
Back in a moment with John Fund.
The book, The Cat in the Hat.
Now, to be precise, six books have been canceled.
One of them is not The Cat in the Hat.
But that's not the point.
You're fact-checking cartoons?
You're censoring cartoons?
Okay, specifically, that particular book was not canceled.
But six of his books were.
And the point is, they're equally innocuous.
I was in kindergarten.
In kindergarten, you sit on the floor and you cross your legs.
And we would read, see John Spot, Spot, see John Run, see Spot Dog, see John Dick and Jane.
And they're all these little white kids with pink cheeks.
I never saw a black kid.
I've read studies.
That when little black girls are handed dolls, one is a black doll and one is a white blonde doll, the little black girl chooses a blonde doll.
I've also heard studies that say that study was invalid because the doll was different, this, that, and the other.
But every study I've ever seen says that whatever there is, whatever wish you were of another race, if you're a little black girl, it goes away.
To the point now where black girls have higher self-esteem than white girls, by far.

And I don't know if Americans know that, that dozens of people detained at the border tested positive and were released.
Yeah.
You know, it's happening on a daily basis.
You know, look, here's the real problem.
The Democrats want open borders.
They really do.
This is no longer speculation.
I don't think we need to read the tea leaves on their intent and motivation on the border right now.
They want more illegal immigrants coming in because every action they take produces that outcome.
They ripped up the agreements we have with Mexico and with the Northern Triangle countries.
these agreements were saving us.
All right.
Okay, y'all.
Final moments here with John Fund.
The John Fund, I might add.
It was an interesting thing when his parents named him The.
They knew his future, his prominence.
John, we were talking about H.R. 1, which is government takeover of state elections and how it's skewed to keep the Democrats in power.
But while I have you, I feel like a guy who's ordering a second dessert.
I would like to get a brief take on the $2 trillion bailout.
Well, that may be the second worst piece of legislation I have seen in the last 40 years.
Think about this.
How many people do you know who have lost their jobs or hours cut back and are struggling with paying their bills?
I bet you and I both know a lot, right?
Of course, yes.
Did you know that government workers, who, by the way, even if they've been working from home, haven't, you know, reduced hours, haven't suffered any cutback in pay, did you know that this bill includes $20,000 leave benefit because they've been on leave at home for federal workers?
No, I did not know that.
$20,000.
Now, private sector workers aren't eligible for that.
Just government workers for the pay.
This is the seal of the corruption.
I'll tell you what gets me.
the bailing out of Democratic governors and mayors of the gigantic, irresponsible debts that they have created, and now they will be paid in paper money manufactured by the government.
Yes, and by the way, Dennis, I forgot to mention that the worst part in some ways of the H.R. 1, which we have to the reference is the free speech provisions You will no longer be allowed to make anonymous speech or anonymous contributions, even if you contribute $5 to a campaign that's going to show up.
We all know what happened in California.
The supporters of Prop 8 a few years ago, which was over gay marriage, they were often intimidated or harassed, were fired from their jobs.
It requires that nonprofits that contact government over a bill will have to completely disclose their activities and their donors.
The ACLU, Dennis, which as you know has gone astray so badly, the ACLU filed a 13-page letter opposing HR1 in its entirety because of its restrictions.
Wow.
Well, wow.
There is some good news.

Merck tried to do a vaccine.
They failed.
Johnson& Johnson did.
And Merck is helping them manufacture and distribute the vaccine.
I've never seen two medical companies that are competitors work together like that.

No.
Actually, I was reading about that, and I understand that Merck is opening some of their factories to increase the production of the stuff.
Good for them.
25% of the military, Dr. Strom, is refusing to take the vaccine.
What's your reaction to that?
What should we do about it?
Is that a concern?
That's a huge concern, because the more people that are refusing, the more variants we're going to get.
We're going to keep this thing going and going and going.
I don't really understand why people are refusing.
Concerns or fear about the vaccination that are probably unjustified.
You know about the anti-vaxxers.
There will be a time where the workplace will say, look it, if you want to work here, you need to be vaccinated because you're going to be affecting your fellow workers.

And how we have to take our kids out of most schools.
I read comments generally to my articles.
I read comments to others' articles.
I find it fascinating to do so.
Here's a comment by Deplorable Cats for All.
It's filtered down into the preschools too, Mr. Prager.
Our oldest son's boys, five and three respectively, are now coming home saying pink is their new favorite color because they're being told boys can like pink and purple as well as blue or green.
Someone explained to me how liking certain colors or not is now an issue and why the subtle implication There's a problem if a boy truly does prefer green or blue and thinks pink and purple are girly colors.
Girly in quotes.
They're also saying it doesn't matter which restroom someone uses.
This is preschool kids coming home saying this.
Are you with me?
Why does his son keep his kids in that school is the question.
Now, if they're talking about the context of home, or of a restaurant which has only one restroom, or two, no stalls, just a commode and sink in each, and no designated difference, he's got a point.
My point is, this isn't something little kids think about on their own.
This man is right!
I don't remember discussing the issue of who goes to a one-stall restroom in kindergarten.
And he ends, Dad will be speaking to teachers this week, and those kids will thankfully be in a Catholic school come fall.
Exactly!
That is the plan.
The only thing keeping you, keeping your kids in a regular private, private or it's just as bad, or public school, is fear of taking them out.
It's a nuisance.
So you have to weigh which will be the bigger nuisance, having kids?
Who have contempt for you and your values?
That's the odds are if they go through regular schooling and college.
Or share your values.
What do you have ultimately with your children if not shared values?
It's a very painful subject.
One that I have approached many times here.
But think about it.
If you have truly different value systems, your talk must be superficial or it will be embattled.
Now, I prefer superficial talk to no talk, but I essentially thank God or fate or luck every day that my two boys share my values.
It's not guaranteed.
To produce a child who has contempt for America...

An act of pure, undiluted racism.
Since blacks are not doing as well as whites scholastically, you change the answers.
If that is not contempt for blacks, then I should resign my profession.
Means that I can't see 2 and 2 equals 4. 2 and 2 equals 4, not just in math, but in the issue of the contempt for blacks and for women and for every group that they say they stand for.

It is not clear if our democracy with its defining freedoms will recover, even after we survive the pandemic itself.
But it is clear that people must step up, meaning speak up, as we are allowed, as we are expected to do in free societies, or it has no chance.
Finally, McKay again, the English thinker, presciently spoke about the herd, quote, Men, it has been well said, think in herds.
It will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly and one by one.
So how do we proceed at this very moment?
In this country, with its heavily damaged psyche, those of us who want the truth must keep seeking it.
And those of us who see the truth must keep speaking it.
Even if the recovery from madness is slow, and even if it is only one by one.
Because truth matters.
This speech is up at DennisPrager.com as well.
The acquiescence to the deprivation of liberty, the non-thinking wearing of masks outdoors.

I put it on indoors because I want to be sociable.

And I wear it for approximately 10 seconds while I go through the indoor of the restaurant, step outdoor, and then I can take it off.

The achievement gap has increased, and there's a worsening youth mental health crisis.

It's a very powerful and wonderful group.
13,000 young people are now members.
And almost daily in one time of the show I speak to a member of Pragerforce.
During March and August.
On the line is Andrew Mount.
He is a member of Prager Force.
He's a graduate of the NYU School of the Arts, New York University.
And he is now in Anchorage, in Alaska, where he is studying for the LSAT, the Law SAT. So, Andrew, welcome to the Dennis Prager Show.
Hey, Dennis.
It's great to be on with you.
Thank you.
How long have you been a member of PragerForce?
Right around the time I moved up to Alaska, so five, six months.
Nice.
You know, I have to say, I never thought I would be speaking to a graduate of the NYU School of the Arts.
The combination of school of...
I'm sorry?
I said, yeah, most of us just burn your image.
We typically don't want to speak to you.
Yes!
The combination of NYU, which is to the left of Berkeley, and any school of the arts is a double whammy in favor of non-thought, even though there may be a tremendous amount of talent there.
Why are you different?
Well, I think a lot of it had to do with...
My parents, both of them lean right, and growing up very much encouraged me to explore my political beliefs autonomously, you know, with sort of direction as it relates to values, but in terms of the political sphere, explore that on my own.
So I was very used to discussing ideas, debating ideas, and on the whole...
Trying my best to figure out what the truth of any given matter is.
And that just kind of led me to be more right-leaning.
And I took that same energy with me to Tisch and was hoping to carry it with me to Hollywood.
And my college experience showed me how naive I was in thinking that that would happen.
Which is why you're now entering the law profession and not the arts profession.
Exactly.
And it's part of the reason why I joined PragerForce so that I could meet and collaborate with young professionals to hopefully make a change and protect our culture of free speech and pursuit of the truth that unfortunately is slowly starting to erode.
Yes, that's correct.
By the way, on a personal note about you, if I may ask, do you hope to marry one day?
Absolutely.
Well, let me just say to you that it is very conceivable that you would meet a wife through Prager Forest.
Well, I hope so.
I know my mom certainly hopes so.
She does not like that I moved out to Alaska by myself.
She really wants me to stop being a loser and go meet somebody, so we'll see if that happens.
Is that the term she used for you?
I allow myself a little creative freedom on that one.
No, no, no.
I was actually going to praise her.
A mother's task is to keep a son humble.
Well, she certainly does do that.
She does a little more eloquently than I did.
Yeah, exactly, exactly.
That's fair.
So, what prompted you to join PragerForce?
Actually, it was my mom.
I was in Alaska, you know, pursuing this job with the public defenders, studying for the LSAT, like you said.
And I had kind of...
I've been expressing that I wanted to get vocal about my experiences at Tisch, about why I wasn't proceeding to become an actor and go to Hollywood and potentially let other people out there who were in my position or are in the position I was in in college know that there are people out there that have this experience and that it's not something that should be taken lightly.
It's something that should be...
Talked about and rectified.
Alright, we're going to continue in a moment.

all Dennis Prager here, speaking to Prager Forest member, graduate of the NYU School of the Arts, now pursuing a law degree in Alaska.
And I asked you why you joined Prager Forest, and again, your mother played a role.
May I ask, do you have a father in your life?
He actually passed away when I was a lot younger.
But I've been lucky enough to have a lot of...
Male role models in my life, yeah.
Well, I'm sorry.
I'm really sorry about that.
I'm sorry.
I know, but I am sorry about it.
Nevertheless, you've obviously done well.
Your mother did a great job.
Thank you.
You don't even have to react to this, and it, of course, has nothing to do with PragerU or PragerForce, but I've done a lot of study and talking about this.
The fathers who abandon families are not the same as fathers who die.
So you've had a father.
I'm just telling you as an outsider who has studied this issue a great deal.
But in any event, your mother prompted your desire to join something because you wanted to speak out, correct?
Correct.
Okay, go ahead.
Well, yeah.
Actually, she was listening to one of your fireside chats where you were talking about PragerForce.
And in knowing my desire to speak out and wanting to connect with more like-minded individuals, she told me to check it out.
And I did.
And I was really impressed.
And joining it has been one of the best decisions I've made in a really long time.
Do you share PragerU videos with people up there in Alaska?
I share it on my social media.
If politics comes up, I certainly talk about PragerU.
But unfortunately in the workplace, people don't take kindly to you shoving your phone in their face and making them watch videos.
But yeah, if it comes up, most definitely.
Yeah, well, it's not shoving.
Just here.
If you want to watch five minutes, just watch five minutes.
That's the way to do it.
So I like to ask, this is my favorite question when I talk to Pragerforce people.
What's your favorite video?
That is an easy one.
The Jocko Willink Discipline Equals Freedom video.
I mean, the three principles that he talks about, which are essentially discipline, humility, and extreme ownership, have just helped me out tremendously on a personal level.
Actually, when I came to Alaska, it was for an internship with the public defenders, and just keeping these principles in mind and continuing to work hard and stay humble actually turned that into a full-time job while I prepared for law school.
That's easily my favorite video.
I think you've continued the trend of every single time I've asked it, I've gotten a different answer, which I love.
I love that fact.
It shows how many have made a deep impact in people.
By the way, apropos of nothing, do people wear masks outdoors in Alaska?
No, not usually.
I'm moving.
We'll take you.
Come by anytime.
Actually, I would love to meet.
Thank you so much.
It has been a pleasure, Andrew.

Phoenix and Bob, hello.
Hello, how are you?
Okay.
I work at some of the spring training games and we can't make people put their masks on.
They just take them off and they just won't listen.
So I thought you'd be interested to know that they're sitting outside watching a baseball game and they won't put their masks on and there's nothing we can do and we've given up.
They've won.
You made my day.
And now you have.
You have.
I have contempt for the outdoor mask.
It is one of the giant frauds of our lifetime.
It's psychological in its benefit.
And it has terrible effects on society.
I am thrilled they're not wearing masks.
I'm going to come and watch a game.
Are the players wearing masks in the dugout?
No.
Oh my god.
I can't believe the death toll.
I know, I know that.
Yeah, the people are sitting out in the grass, and they're, you know, they're spread out.
And, you know, if you say something to them, like, you've got to put your mask on.
Well, wait, if they're spread out, why would you tell them that if they're spread out?
Well, management said we had to.
Even if they're spread out?
Yes.
I'm sorry to hear they're spread out, actually.
So, he made my half day.
I can't say he made my day, but anything that reminds me of normal human intercourse is healthy.

Look, here's the real problem.
The Democrats want to open borders, and they really do.
They've reversed the process that Trump's DHS meticulously created to prevent catch and release and to get these asylum hearings done right away.
And they've reverted back to the old ways of just releasing everybody and saying, you know, show up.
It'd be nice if you showed up.
This, in all practical reality, produces indefinite stays inside the United States.

A hooded sweatshirt with a picture, some kind of a graphic of a campfire on it.
And it says, what's your plan?
And the Y and the O are omitted for cost reasons.
What's your plan?
So what is that sweatshirt and how can I buy a cop?
How can I buy one?
Eric, I'll just give you one.
You don't need to buy one.
But basically, the reason I have this sweatshirt is because so many people have been watching the American Campfire Revival on Facebook Live every night.
It's our 100-day plan.
And really, what I'm trying to do is I want to spread the fires of revival and a love for God and love for our neighbor and love for our country.
And so it's not about me in my backyard.
It's about the people who are watching and wanting them to be able to have tools to get Get them into conversations with their neighbors and their people at work or at the gym or the grocery store.
And it says, what's your plan?
And it gives people an opportunity to, you know, allow people to say, hey, what's your sweatshirt about?
And they can say, well, you know, you need to have a plan, right?
And every president rolls.
Mississippi has passed a Fairness Act to ban trans athletes from women's sports from campus reform here.
In other words, if you're a biological male, you cannot compete against biological females.
The President of the United States and the Democratic Party are passing a law which is an executive order.
Okay, not a law, an executive order.
That you cannot discriminate against biological men who identify as women.
Now you tell me which is fair.
Just on the issue of fairness.
We have two competing notions of fairness.
It's not fair to the trans woman, that is the biological man, not to compete.
And it's not fair to biological women to have biological men compete.
Which fairness do you think trumps the other?
Okay, that's what it comes down to.
Conservatives believe that the whole point of women's sports is to keep men out of women's sports because they have more developed bodies.
More muscle mass, more bone mass, etc.
And the left says that's true and irrelevant.
If a man says he's a woman, That trumps all these other considerations.
Mississippi has decided that it does not trump all other considerations.
Mississippi has also dropped all of the mandates for a mask.

Hi, everybody.
This is the Ultimate Issues Hour, one of my favorite things in life. - I've been thinking about Ultimate Issues, not hour, Ultimate Issues, since I was in high school.
This is built into me.
And that's what this is about, because if you don't have clarity on the big issues, you will not have clarity about life, period.
So, third hour on Tuesday's Ultimate Issues Hour.
Today is...
A different subject than I've ever devoted an hour.
I'm sure I've mentioned in passing at some point, some of these points, but never devoted the Ultimate Issues Hour to it.
I'm going to show you today the conflict verses that show the conflict between the Bible and the left, which is why the left, since the French Revolution, Has detested the Bible and detested Christianity, Judaism, Marx loathed.
Marx, grandson of two rabbis, was actually an anti-Semite.
There's a loathing of the Bible and the Judeo-Christian worldview for good reason, because they're antithetical.
So I'm going to show you some verses.
That are inimical to the left.
But, of course, your kids will not have studied them because Bible study has been dropped from American life for now almost, let's see, I would say almost 100 years.
Maybe 80 years.
It was the norm to teach your children Bible stories and the Bible and aphorisms from the Bible.
And now, nothing.
I wonder if the average Harvard junior, or even rising junior, I like that, it's a new term.
I've mastered it.
Or rising senior, I should say, knows who Cain and Abel were.
I've got to tell you something, if you don't know who Cain and Abel were, You don't know a damn thing about the Bible.
That's pretty basic.
I don't even know what they would know.
They could name the four Gospels.
There would be a blank on virtually anything.
I wonder if they could name, identify Noah.
Because Noah's Ark is so famous.
Be that as it may, I'm going to bring you some Bible quotes that are antithetical to leftism.
And so you will have a choice.
You can follow the left or you can follow the Bible, but you can't do both.
I know that there are some Jews and Christians who claim that they get their leftism from the Bible.
My friends, people have made claims that are absurd throughout history.
Okay, so I think the number one example of a biblical verse that is the antithesis of leftism is about the heart.
Everything left is feelings-based.
Doesn't buy that.
It completely mistrusts the heart.
The left is based on the heart.
The compassion is a beautiful trait.
But everything is based on the heart.
So here are two verses.
Numbers 15, 39. Remember all the commands of the Lord that you may obey them.
This is one of the few correct translations of the verse, the NIV version, New International Version.
Remember all the commands of the Lord that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and I. Now, they added the lusts from the Hebrew.
I know the Hebrew well, so that's one of the reasons I've written a Bible commentary.
Which reminds me to remind you that this is the magnum opus, the big work of my life, is the Bible commentary.
The third of my five-volume commentary on the first five books will be coming out later this year.
It is Deuteronomy, the fifth of the books.
I'm not going in order.
Genesis and Exodus are already out.
It's called the Rational Bible.
And if you read the 2,500 reviews that are there, you will see how deeply it has touched people's lives.
The Rational Bible.
So, Numbers 1539 is a rebuke of the idea.
That you should follow your heart.
You prostitute yourself when you follow your heart.
That's what the Hebrew actually says.
That's correct.
And Jeremiah 17, 9. The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately sick.
Who can understand it?
That's pretty intense.
The left is feelings-based.
How you feel is what matters, and it is applied now to everything.
It's not just morality, how I feel.
I define good and evil.
It's everything.
I define my gender.
If I feel male, I'm male.
If I feel female, I'm female.
This is part of the interesting and very powerful issue in American life today.
So if you feel male, excuse me, if you feel female and you're a male, you can now compete against females in track.
You are what you feel.
There is no objective sex.
There is no objective answer to 2 plus 2. As I've reported to you, the Oregon Education Department has now announced That the idea that there is one right answer in math is white supremacy.
Okay?
It's a white supremacist notion.
So even math answers are felt.
Growing up and not trusting your heart is one of the greatest gifts that I was given to try to be a good man when I got older.
And that's the purpose of life.
Try to be a good man or a good woman as you get older.
Alright, so that's example number one.
Example number two of Bible verses that are the opposite of progressivism or the left.
Leviticus 19.15 Do not pervert justice.
Do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.
Do not show partiality to the poor?
Woo!
That's a disqualifier from the world of the left. - Thank you.
That's right.
That's the whole point.
That is social justice.
Why don't they use the word justice on the left?
Because justice and social justice have nothing to do with one another.
Social justice is to justice what people's democracy is to democracy.
It's the opposite.
Social justice is the opposite of justice.
People's democracy is the opposite of democracy.
Otherwise, they'd say justice.
So yes, you are supposed to change justice for the poor man, or now the black man, or the person of color.
The opposite of the biblical admonition.
You cannot change justice for the poor man.
Poor man and rich man come into court.
You do not favor the poor.
Or the rich.

You know, the tradition of presidents, as you know, is to roll out their first 100 days and what we're going to do.
And I found that most of my friends are sort of like...
Sitting in a corner, wringing their hands, crying in their Chick-fil-A soup, saying, oh no, everything is going to be unraveled here by somebody with a bad 100-day plan.
And I'm saying, you know what?
Let's get off the defense.
Let's be on the offense.
And why don't we come up with our own 100-day plan?
And so I've got mine.
And I've invited people to join me in my backyard for 100 nights in a row while I build a campfire.
And we're going to sing.
We're going to pray.
We're going to give thanks to God and we're going to go look at history and the providential perspective on how God both gave birth to and preserved and caused to flourish the greatest nation on earth so that we can get back to these sacred covenant promises our forefathers made with God.
But here's the good news.
Revival is coming.
I believe it.
I think that we always see this in history and certainly in scripture.
The enemy overplays his hand.
I really think that people are seeing, gee, what would it be like to live under a big government, Marxist, woke administration?
And they're realizing, you know what?

Ultimate Issues Hour today is about how deeply in conflict the Bible and the left are.
You can adhere to the Bible or you can adhere to the left.
If you think you can do both, you've got one of them wrong.
So I'm giving you verses that are the antithesis of the left.
So I began with...
The mistrust of the heart.
Leftism is feelings honoring feelings-based.
I gave you the citations earlier.
I'll do it again before the hour ends.
Then from Leviticus, do not pervert justice, do not show partiality to the poor, or favoritism to the great.
Do not show partiality to the poor is the opposite of social justice.
The direct opposite.
Now, next, from Psalms 97.1.
Those who love God must hate evil.
It is a directive.
The Hebrew uses the command form, which we don't have in English.
Hate is the present tense.
You can use it.
I will hate.
I hate.
I did hate, but in Hebrew, there's only one way of commanding hate in the verbal forms that Hebrew has.
It has a command form.
And it says in the plural, you hate.
You must hate.
So if you love God, you must hate evil.
If you don't hate evil, you don't love God.
That's pretty powerful.
The left has never hated evil.
The left hates opposition to left, but they don't hate evil.
That's why they didn't hate communism.
They hated fascism because it was anti-left.
But they don't hate communism, the greatest killer of humanity in history, because it was on the left.
So why would they hate it?
Because they don't hate evil.
They hated Trump.
And whatever they hate, they call evil, but they don't hate evil.
And when you don't hate evil, you make up little evils, like microaggressions.
So that's another verse in direct conflict.
You've got to hate evil.
Not everybody knows that verse.
Psalm 97.1.
I've got more.
But I also am curious to see if you have any.
And we'll take, I'll take your calls when they come in.
1-8 Prager 776. Genesis 5-2.
And God created them.
God created the human being.
Zechar mekeva baraotam.
Male and female, he created them.
Doesn't say that about animals because the difference between humans and animals is enormous.
And we are to remember there are only two types of human beings.
Not racial types, not ethnic types, not national types.
The built-in difference between human beings is male and female.
The left loathes that idea because that is a binary idea, and the left believes in non-binary distinctions with regard to sex.
Right?
Right.
That verse alone is in direct conflict with the left.
God created the human being, male and female.
He created them.
That distinction, for those who take the Bible seriously, that distinction is embedded into the human condition.
Are there some people, or have there been some people, who have completely rejected their sex?
And psychologically identify with the other sex?
Yes, that's right.
We should not persecute them.
We should not ridicule them.
We should not mock them.
We should embrace them.
But that has nothing to do with society acknowledging that there are only two sexes.
Male and female.
When you sign up for Facebook, you're offered, I believe, 57, or you were when I last looked, 57 choices about what your, now they call it, gender is.
Sex has been changed to gender, like global warming has been changed to climate change.
All right, y'all.
1-8 Prager 776 and Vernon, California.
April, hello.
Hi, Dennis.
How are you?
Well, thank you.
That's good to hear.
Well, one of the main verses that pretty much is a slap in the face to a lot of what the liberals believe is, I don't remember where it's found, but it says, if a man shall not work, then he shall not eat.
No, liberals are against work.
For some reason, they don't like hard work.
They despise it.
That verse right there says that work is to be commended, and if a person doesn't want to do it, then he shouldn't eat.
That's right.
I'm looking it up.
That's right.
Here it is.
He who does not work, neither shall eat.
I have to give you the exact source here.
I'm sure many are listening.
Let's see.
This is 2 Thessalonians 3.10.
There you go.
Huh?
Thank you.
Oh, alright.
Thank you.
Absolutely correct.

Dr. Strom, my mother's best friend, Ruth Jeffries, Mrs. Jeffries, is 92 years old.
I have not gone to see her since this pandemic has started.
I have been vaccinated.
It was around 10 days ago that I had my second one.
She has been vaccinated.
Am I okay to see her?
Larry, you are in the exact same position as I am with my elderly mom and dad in Chicago.
And the answer to your question is yes, and give her a big, fat hug and a kiss.
I will.
Second question, Dr. Strong.
J&J, Johnson& Johnson, I understand, has worked with Merck.
Merck tried to do a vaccine.
They failed.
Johnson& Johnson did.
And Merck is helping them manufacture and distribute the vaccine.
I've never seen two medical companies that are competitors work together like that.
Have you?
I was reading about that, and I understand that Merck is opening some of their factories to increase the production of the stuff.
So we're all in this together.
We are truly all in this together.
I don't understand that, and I do believe there's going to be a mandate to get vaccinated to work in a specific business.

It's not complicated math.
Not having a mask mandate.
Not having the state say you have to, you are mandated to wear masks, does not in any way, shape or form prevent an American citizen from wearing a mask if they wish they could wear a level 4 biohazard suit to go shopping for a gallon of milk.

Does not require of you to wear a mask.

Prevailing viewpoint over the last couple decades is people want to be free.
No.
Hey, everybody. everybody.
You can take the Bible seriously, or you could take the left seriously, but you can't take them both seriously.
That's the Ultimate Issues Hour today.
Tuesday's the third hour.
Bible is in direct conflict.
That's the reason they have contempt for the Bible and contempt for those of us who take it seriously, let alone guide our lives by it.
So, we have...
I've added another one.
This was from the New Testament.
2 Thessalonians 3.10.
If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.
That's right.
The dream on the left is that you don't work.
You write poetry all day.
Or whatever else you will do.
Here's another one.
Exodus 20.12.
Honor your father and mother.
Leviticus 19.3 You shall fear every man, his mother and his father.
Notice mother comes first there.
The equality of the parents is a big idea in the Bible.
Now why is that the opposite of the left?
The left is contempt for parental authority, utter contempt.
The whole point of the left is to hand over authority to schools and the government.
Your daughter says that she is a boy.
You don't have a say in whether or not she has her breasts cut off.
It's completely up to her and whatever doctor she is seeing.
Daughter wants an abortion.
You have nothing to say.
It's completely up to her and her doctor.
You have nothing to say, period.
The experts know better than you.
How to raise your child.
So the child is taught honoring parents is not particularly important.
That was part of my argument about not giving all these meals out at schools.
What is the parent supposed to do if the child gets breakfast and lunch at school?
Where is the parental role in it?
Now, there's no choice in the case of lunch.
Except if you bring it with you, which is a choice.
But anyway, the undermining of parental authority is very deep for all cults, and therefore it is in this case as well.
So that is yet another example of the conflict between the left and the Bible.
Alright, so let's see.
Keith in Philadelphia, hello.
Hi, Dennis.
I'm going to pull over here so I don't die on the highway.
Quick question.
I want to make a very quick comment about Ben Shapiro.
That was very insightful as far as the gender issues.
The verse from the Bible, the Old Testament, is the intent of man's heart is always evil all the time.
There's much doubt for it.
It wounds her down.
And then Ben Shapiro was interviewing Caitlyn Jenner a while back.
Caitlyn was maintaining the heat.
She felt like a woman and then was adamant that she wasn't.
She was a male.
He had XY chromosomes.
And it was so upset with Ben that he threatened to take him outside and beat him up.
I think that was kind of a guy thing to do.
Right.
All right, I got you.
It's not the clearest connection, but I appreciate your call.
That is correct.
The will of man's heart is towards evil from his youth.
That is a big one.
I was going to do it myself, but it's quite all right.
I don't care who does it, so long as people are aware of it.
The will of man's heart is towards evil from his youth.
All the thoughts are bad all day.
God's realization about man or description of the human being.
Since the Age of Enlightenment with the Age of Reason, we have had the belief that people are basically good.
One of the most dangerous and stupid beliefs a human being can have.
Truly stupid.
It means your ignorance of history and the ubiquity of cruelty...
Is so limited.
Or you have so perverted your understanding of history because you don't want to believe.
By the way, why wouldn't people want to believe that people are not basically good?
Why would they not want to believe that?
I'll tell you why.
When you stop believing in God, you have one choice.
To believe in man.
To believe in humanity, if you prefer that.
If you can't believe in God and you can't believe in humanity, you will despair.
So rather than despair, they believe in humanity.
Truly, truly stupid.

Hi everybody, I'm Dennis Prager. I'm Dennis Prager.
This is the Ultimate Issues Hour, third hour every Tuesday.
The conflict between the Bible and the left is the subject.
You can take the Bible seriously, or you can take the left seriously.
You have your choice, but you can't take them both seriously, or you have deformed one of them.
So I'm giving you verse after verse that runs in conflict with leftist ideas.
And let's see here.
So I began with the heart is deceitful and do not follow your heart.
Do not show partiality to the poor in judgment.
It's an anti-social justice message.
Those who love God must hate evil.
You have to hate evil.
The left has never hated evil unless it comes from the right.
And Genesis tells us that God created man and woman.
There are only two sexes, and that is a divine order of nature, if you will.
Honor your father and mother.
Every man shall fear his mother and father.
The removal of parental authority has always been a feature of the left.
Then there's a very interesting commandment in Deuteronomy.
Right after the Jews leave or the Israelites leave Egypt, There is a commandment to them not to hate the Egyptian.
Very few people are aware of this.
You will become well aware of it if you get my Deuteronomy.
Third volume of the Rational Bible.
You can pre-order it now.
It's coming out in October.
There is a law not to hate the Egyptian.
They were just enslaved by the Egyptians for 400 years.
Wouldn't it be nice if there was a command, if that command, the spirit of it, were taken seriously?
Do not hate the white in the United States.
Instead, the left cultivates hatred of the white.
It's the opposite of the Bible.
You cannot hate your former taskmasters, and that's within a generation.
We're not talking about now 150 years ago.
Then we have a law that a man shall not wear women's clothing. - Mm-hmm.
That truly flies against, not transgender, transgender person looks like a, if you look like a woman, you act like a woman, you have a woman's name, then that's a different issue.
In fact, if you do, I want you to wear women's clothing.
But if you are a man and identify as a man and look like a man and talk like a man, you shall not wear women's clothing.
You cannot confuse the two sexes.
The whole purpose of the left is to confuse the two sexes.
The conflict is enormous.
All right, let's go to some more of your calls here.
And...
Howard in the Bronx.
Hello.
Well, thank you for taking my call, Dennis.
You know, when I was preparing for my Bar Mitzvah when I was 12, I started reading the Bible on my own, because I thought I should know something about it before I get initiated to manhood.
Anyway, I read this...
I forgot exactly where it's from, but it said, Justice, justice, you must pursue.
Right.
And I was struck by the fact that they repeated justice twice.
I said, why did they just say, justice you must pursue?
That's correct, yes.
Basically echo what Jeremiah said in your quote, right?
So why?
And then as soon as people started talking about social justice, I said, hey, they're putting something in front of justice.
And then, when I started investigating it, I realized it contradicted the following, you know, which was don't elevate the poor over the rich.
Right.
You got it, my friend.
I thank you.
That's exactly right.
As I said earlier, social justice is to justice what people's democracy is to democracy.
It's the opposite.
Social justice is the opposite.
It's an Orwellian term invented by the left to pervert justice.
That's it.
Social justice, they admit it.
Social justice is not justice.
Justice is blind.
It's color blind.
It's economics blind.
It's blind.
It's why you have the famous eye covering often on the Statue of Liberty.
Justice is blind is a famous concept.
The moment you start making justice based on the economic class or the color of one of the people before you in court, you have ended justice.
That is correct.
All right.
Let's go to Craig in Southfield, Michigan.
Hello, Craig.
Hi, Dennis.
One of the things that the left seems to never do is ever correct themselves or apologize.
And in 2 Chronicles 7, 14, it says, If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my faith and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Well, the whole notion of penitence has been rejected by the left.
35 years ago, you harassed a woman, and you've led a completely honorable life since.
It is irrelevant.
If you ask forgiveness for an intemperate comment, you're done, baby.
You're done.
No livelihood for you.
It is the most anti-penitent doctrine in American history, perhaps world history.
The Bible is based on the concept that we can do penitence, teshuva in Hebrew.
It literally means return.
Not on the left.
You made a bad comment.
You shall not eat.
This is Carol Platt-Lebow of Yankee Institute for TownHall.com.
The achievement gap has increased, and there is a worsening youth mental health crisis.
Parents have stood by helplessly at the mercy of the unions, even as the CDC admits that schools can reopen safely.
In-person learning shouldn't be reserved for children of the privileged.
Our kids deserve policies that put their rightful needs over the self-serving demands of union elites.

*music* The last thing we need is a Neanderthal thinking that in the meantime, everything's fine.
Take off your mask.
Forget it.
It still matters.
I carry a carbon.
I don't have it.
I put it on my desk.
As of yesterday, we had lost 511,874 Americans.
Who's the Neanderthal?
He needs a card to remind him.
He needed a card the last time and now he's left it on his desk.
Now let's start for a second on his choice of words.
Shad thinks it's not as bad as deplorable because...
Because why, Shad?
Well, because it might be tough for the average...
Red-blooded American to go around calling themselves a Neanderthal.
It was easy to take up deplorable.
Because it's got too many syllables?
No, no, no.
Of course not.
Of course not.
But it has a stronger connotation, you know?
It's more direct.
It's not you're outside of the norm.
It's you're stupid.

All the ultimate issues hour of today is in its final segment.
It has been the conflict between the Bible and the left, part of the reason the left, quite appropriately, if you take the left seriously, loathes people who live by the Bible or try to live by it, because they're in conflict, and they know it, and you should know it too.
There are a handful of Christians who believe that leftism and Christianity coincide.
They're poisoning Christianity, and there are more than a handful of Jews who believe that leftism and Judaism coincide, and they have poisoned Judaism.
It's like the rabbi whom I played for you, chanting on Rosh Hashanah, one of the holiest days of the year in Judaism, standing before his congregation, not chanting the prophets as he was supposed to, but chanting Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Leftism...
And Judaism are identical in these people's minds.
That's why their Judaism is inauthentic.
They feel it's authentic.
They're sometimes sweet people, but that's irrelevant to my point.
The Bible and Christianity of the left and Judaism of the left are in conflict because it's in conflict with the left.
I've given you verse after verse.
I should do it another time because there are still more verses.
How's this one?
Spare the rod, spoil the child.
I mean, that's really one where a lot of believers are almost embarrassed that it's in there in Proverbs.
I'm not embarrassed by it at all.
The notion is that children need to be raised strictly, and that there will be punishment if they act bad, because making a good adult is very hard.
And you can't do it just with love.
You have to do it with discipline.
Children need guardrails even more than they need love.
For the left, just tell your child how terrific he or she is.
And you know what you end up with?
One of the purest cases of narcissism imaginable.
You're terrific.
You're terrific.
Ah, what a beautiful bowel movement.
It's a work of art.
Doesn't work, my friends.
The human condition is a bit more complex than we are taught at school.
Kurt, Jack, Turner, James, Mara, and Jerry.
I wish I could have taken your calls.
And a lot of you are calling about the key one.
Don't trust your heart.
That's the key biblical message, and it's the antithesis of leftism.
