It's amazing that I have been saying I hope you had a good weekend now for a year.
And inside of that weekend, you have been banned in most states from leaving a normal life.
From your kids going to school during the week to your going to a theater in places like...
L.A., where I live, you can't even go inside a restaurant to this day a year later.
I was reading an epidemiologist in Israel who, last August, is a major scientist at Tel Aviv University, one of the most prestigious universities in the world, and Israel is known for its scientists.
And said that the entire thing was a mistake.
Exactly what I said last April.
People should have led normal lives.
The percentage of people dying, he said, is so small that if there is an interesting theory, I had never heard this, and I have to mull it over, but I do want to offer it to you from this professor and doctor, that if...
The press had never reported the virus.
People would not know that there was a virus.
They just would have thought that it was a bad flu season in nursing homes, perhaps.
And that would have been it.
And people would have gone on normally and then built a herd immunity.
But listen to the scientists.
Listen to the science is one of the...
Typical fraudulent claims of the left.
They don't listen to science.
If they listened to science, they wouldn't say men give birth.
Let's be honest.
They have no interest in science.
Many scientists have no interest in science.
How many scientists said that it was healthy?
There were health benefits to demonstrating against racism at the height of the epidemic.
And people unmasked, banding together in the thousands.
Thousands and thousands of people in the sciences wrote that.
Just reminders, reminders, because it's so easy to forget because we're bombarded with news.
So people do forget what has in fact happened.
We're going to have a woman on.
Where did she write her piece?
Oh, that was the Newsweek piece?
I guess I have it here.
Kids and cowards.
What really happened to Donald McNeil at the New York Times?
So I will leave that subject to later.
Donald McNeil was with the New York Times for more than 40 years.
He was their chief reporter on the COVID virus.
And he was let go because...
With some young people in Peru a couple of years ago, when asked about the N-word, he said it is totally wrong to ever call anybody the N-word.
However, when you read literature that has it, you can say, and then he said the actual word.
That was it.
That was it.
And for that, the Times let him go.
And people still read the New York Times, despite the fact that it is the seat of cowardice as well.
Yeah, the entire, the edifices are crumbling, shall we say.
Josh Hammer, Reopen America Now!
is also in Newsweek.
See that one?
In reality, it is Biden, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and the ruling class's myriad other lockdown apologists who evince something closer to Neanderthal logic.
For they are the ones who, a full year after the explosion of unprecedented restrictions on our most rudimentary rights, would seek to continue circumscribing those rights, freedom to worship, freedom to associate, and so forth.
In the name of a virus with a recovery rate of 98 to 99 percent.
Mind-boggling now.
I actually broadcast what I believe was one of the most important commentaries that I have given, and I try to give an important one every hour.
Let alone every day.
However, there are some that, even within that context, I think are more important.
Last week I spoke about masks outdoors and why the left is so committed to them, and it has nothing to do with science.
It's totally bogus.
It's a joke.
It's a farce.
It's actually bad because people need to build immunity like kids.
Keeping kids away from...
Germs is actually bad for them, but it doesn't matter.
Keeping them away from school is bad for them, although the schools are so rotten in most cases that I have ambivalence with regard to it.
So why are people told to wear masks outdoors?
It's to keep them scared.
I spoke about this last week, so I will not devote an hour to it now.
I just want to remind you of it.
It is something that I think I should remind people of every day.
The purpose of masks is not medical.
The purpose of masks is political.
Every time you see a mask, you are reminded that there is a virus that might kill you!
And so you walk around with a mask outdoors because you're scared or because you're either scared of the virus or scared of dirty looks.
I don't walk around outside ever with a mask.
Ever.
I said this from the beginning of the city in which we broadcast's announcement that it is a mandate or a rule or law, whatever they call it.
And I am waiting to be arrested.
What I'm really waiting for is for somebody to say, how come you're not wearing a mask, fella?
And my prepared answer is, because I'm rational.
And I think it would catch a lot of people off guard because they think they're rational.
What?
This guy doesn't wear a mask because he thinks he's rational?
But it keeps people scared, and if they're scared, you can end civil rights.
The ease with which Americans accepted, and by the way, almost everybody else in the world, the ease with which people in free countries accepted lack of freedom, the suppression of freedom.
Is, shall we say, disconcerting.
But you know, I've said to you for all of my broadcast life, people do not yearn to be free.
That's nonsense.
Some people yearn to be free.
Patrick Henry, the founders, I do.
I yearn to be free.
But most people don't.
Most people yearn to be taken care of.
And that is exactly what the left says.
We will take care of you.
The left is Mephistopheles, and they have a deal.
You give us your freedom, and we will give you money.
We will buy your freedom.
In the sense that when you say buy your freedom, normally it means we will buy your ability to be free.
It's literal in this case.
We will buy your freedom.
And you will not have it any longer.
You might as well put your freedom on eBay.
Really?
That's the state of things, folks.
Those of you who agree with me should stop wearing masks outdoors.
It's okay to get dirty looks.
I wear them indoors.
On my way into the studio today, A woman came over and just hugged me.
I love you.
But I wasn't wearing my mask.
I wonder if she'd have recognized me if I wore my mask.
I got stopped so much at the airport and I had my mask somewhat.
A lot of young people.
It was very touching the way young people respond to PragerU and to me.
It gives you hope.
So we would pose for selfies, take our masks off.
It's to keep you scared.
That's what it is.
That's the purpose of outdoor masks.
Because if you're scared, they can control you.
If you're not scared, they can't control you.
C'est levy.
That is the life.
That we are living.
1-8 Prager 776. This is Jerry Boyer of Town Hall Finance for townhall.com.
Investors, the business press, and just ordinary citizens concerned about their 401k accounts are beginning to get worried about inflation.
For most of my career, I've been talking conservative leaders down from dire predictions of imminent inflation.
Now, I think that inflation is a very real short and midterm risk.
Last year, the Trump administration borrowed $3.3 trillion, yes, with a T, to fund COVID relief and various stimuli.
At the end of the year, almost another trillion was agreed to, and now the new president is proposing an additional almost $2 trillion.
So far, almost all of this new spending has been financed out of the central bank's creation of new monetary base.
In other words, we printed the money we spent.
Inflation is too much money chasing too few goods.
The Fed is giving us too much money, and the low-growth Biden economy will provide too few goods.
And Americans are right to be concerned.

Now let me go to this $1.9 trillion bill.
The Wall Street Journal today included something that made me stand up and say, huh?
The parliamentarian on Monday, the Senate parliamentarian, ruled in favor of Democrats including health care subsidies for laid-off workers and support for multi-employer pensions.
All I want to know, Senator Cotton, do multi-employer pensions include state pension funds which are vastly underfunded, not because of COVID, but because of 30 years.
A purposeful underfunding of pension liabilities.
Well, Hugh, it wouldn't surprise if they do.
I haven't seen what the Senate is proposing yet because Chuck Schumer is keeping it under lock and key, but we've seen what's in the House bill.
Less than a dime out of every dollar will go for coronavirus relief.
This is about Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer paying off Democratic clients and patrons.
Look, $350 billion for states and local governments.
That is going to be distributed in a way that favors poorly run Democratic states.
States, by the way, that in many cases haven't even lost revenue over last year.
The New York Times has a big story about that today.
Likewise, they're going to give $130 billion to teachers unions.
Only 5% of that money is going to go for education this year when schools need to reopen and start educating their kids.
Did you know, Hugh, did you know, Hugh, that federal employees whose schools are closed, which is, say, for the most part, federal employees in Democratic-run states, We're going to get a weekly subsidy for childcare.
So all you poor working stiffs across America are only going to get $1,400 once under the Democratic bill.
Federal employees whose kids' schools are closed are going to get that $1,400, and then they're going to get $1,400 every single week if this bill passes for three months.

He's Andrew Cuomo.
He's like a mafia Don.
He doesn't go out of anywhere unless it's in a box.
Tell us, what's the truth, Joe Piscopo?
You know, Seb, he is.
He's the terminator of politics.
He really is.
He'll be back.
I'll be back.
I love everybody's making the mafia references because he's Italian.
I don't get offended by it, but he's like the Sollozzo character.
Remember?
Yes!
Virgil Sollozzo!
I don't like violence.
Michael is bad for business, you know?
Or how about this line?
You want to see Governor Cuomo say, that's the bad news for me and bad news for you.
You know, it's like a character.
However, let me put this caveat out there, if I may, my friend.
When I knew Andrew...
As we roll down this summer hill, we don't know this way, we can't stand on us alone.
Just know we are not alone, so we're going to take this place.
Hey everybody, I want to remind you, talking about the issue of scared, I often cite the issue of people who are scared to visit Israel. - Cool.
35 years ago when I first began radio, I heard it.
Oh, Dennis, I'll go when it's safe.
They've never gone, and it's always been safe.
So, anyway, I am going to Israel with you.
I'm Mike Gallagher, my colleague and friend.
We do this every other year, and we're going to do it this year in October.
Stand with Israel banner up at DennisPrager.com.
I'd also like to remind you that March is fundraising month for PragerU.
We do a lot of good.
This week's a match week?
What does that mean?
Is it a double?
It's a double match.
If you give us $100, you're actually giving us $100.
You give us $5, you're giving us $10.
Giving us $5,000, we get $10,000.
You get the point.
We at PragerU do believe that there is one right answer in math.
Puts us at odds with Bill Gates, whose foundation donated $1 million to the Oregon Education Department and its program to...
Drop the one right answer notion in math.
Because it's a white supremacist notion.
By the way, he's obviously an enormous fool.
I mean truly an enormous fool.
Very rich.
You could be an idiot savant.
He obviously knew how to run or make a business.
But he's a fool.
He's an enormous fool.
Because the notion that one right answer in math is white supremacist means that whites are superior.
The left lacks intellectual acumen aside from courage and decency and wisdom.
If the notion that there is a right answer is a white supremacist notion, Then whites are superior.
That's what they're saying.
The Ku Klux Klan could not have come up with that.
Had the Ku Klux Klan said only whites believe 2 and 2 is 4, they would have been laughed out of society, right?
But if the left says only whites say that the only answer to 2 plus 2 is 4, then they're not laughed out by the New York Times.
Where gates like fools dominate.
And that's it.
The idea that Shakespeare was great because he was white, not because he was great, is another argument for white supremacy.
The only arguments for white supremacy today are given by the left.
The only arguments for segregation, for racial segregation, are given by the left.
Try to say that on your Facebook page.
You know what's really disturbed me?
That Amazon has taken down the documentary made by Clarence Thomas about his life.
It's funny, it's just not reported.
It hasn't registered.
It's an earthquake.
It's like an earthquake happening.
And nobody acknowledging it.
It's an earthquake that a company unprecedentedly dominant in the world of books and other forms of information has been taken over by people who don't want an open society.
Isn't it about George Soros?
You've got to admit, the man's Orwellian.
His belief is he's fighting for an open society.
I guess by open he meant jail should be open and violent criminals allowed out.
Everything is upside down and half the country buys it.
Although the New York Times had a disturbing piece to them about how Hispanics are moving towards Republicans.
The comments, I always love the comments, because that's the unfiltered people of the left or the right, and their theory is because Latinos believe in machismo, because there was discussion about how Republicans like the idea.
That a man will marry and support a family.
That's now machismo, like toxic masculinity.
As we know, it's a very bad thing for boys to grow up to think that they should try to support a family, right?
Really, it's really disturbing.
They should grow up thinking that they will earn half of the house income.
Now, if you end up earning half the house income or even less, and it works out, more power to you.
But I don't think a boy's original dream should be she'll support the family as much as I do.
All right.
1-8-Prager-776 is the number here.

You familiar with it?
Where is it?
It's a Jesuit university.
Sorry?
Oh, Nebraska.
Yes, I believe you're right.
So the coach of the Creighton basketball team.
Yeah, Omaha, yeah.
Released the stories from Omaha AP. So he said to the team, You know, in a pep session after losing.
Let's see, what did he say exactly?
He said this, Guys, we got to stick together.
We need both feet in.
I need everybody to stay on the plantation.
I can't have anybody leave the plantation.
That came after the team, 14th ranked Blue Jays, lost 77-69 to Xavier in Cincinnati.
So, is that a saying?

Julie, he was always a gentleman.
Hi, everybody.
Hi.
I'm going to go to my guest, and I'm going to continue with this Creighton story after I have a guest who's on the line, a very important subject.
I do want to take the challenge, though.
If you don't agree with me, there is affirmative action here.
You do go first.
Hillside, Illinois.
Cindy, thank you for calling.
Yes, Dennis.
Unfortunately, you're a hypocrite.
Because you say COVID is not that serious.
You do not need a mask.
However, you take hydroxychloroquine to protect yourself.
Why?
For the same reason that I wear a seatbelt.
I know that driving is dangerous.
I do it and I wear a seatbelt.
Then don't mock someone who wears a mask.
I only mock people who wear a mask outside.
I don't mock people who wear masks.
I walk only outside.
And they deserve mockery, and it's good for them that I mock them because then maybe they will rethink why they do it.
Most are doing it because they're afraid of dirty looks from people, not because they're afraid of dying.
You don't know why they do it.
You're afraid of the virus because you're taking hydroxychloroquine.
I wear seatbelts.
I protect myself.
Protect yourself from what?
You said COVID wasn't that serious.
That's correct, but you can die from it, just as you can die in a car crash.
I did hug people at rallies prior to even taking hydroxychloroquine, and I'm a senior citizen.
I have a happy life.
I don't walk around afraid.
It is one of the joys of life to live as I do.
All right, glad you called.
I hope the seatbelt answered your question.
It's a delight to welcome Nancy Rommelman.
And Nancy, hi.
I just want to introduce you properly.
Among other things, she's an investigative reporter.
She has made a PragerU video about what happened to her and her husband's coffee business, if I'm not mistaken, in Portland, Oregon.
Because you had tweeted that there might be two sides with regard to the MeToo movement.
And that was enough to have you shut down by the community in Portland because most of the people living in Portland are indecent.
I don't know how it happened.
It's a very sad thing.
I heard you moved to New York.
Are you somewhat of a masochist?
I am back in New York City where I'm from, where I know you are from.
I moved back in August 2019. I'm from for a reason.
Well, I'm very happy to be back.
In fact, my husband closed down the business and we sold the house and we just amscreed from Portland altogether.
But I do want to add something to what you just said in terms of Portlanders.
You know, I really don't think it's the majority of Portlanders.
It's a very loud, cranky minority that has the ear of the local government and has some power.
You know, most Portlanders are nice folks.
You know what?
I've given up on nice folks.
Nice folks who shut up when people like you are destroyed are irrelevant to the battle against evil.
They're like, I wrote an essay, The Good German.
I now understand the German who did nothing.
The Portlander who does nothing is, to me, similar.
They watch evil take place.
They don't participate.
They're really sweet.
They're good neighbors.
And they are cowards.
They're afraid, yes.
Okay.
They're afraid.
That's called cowardice.
What are they afraid of?
They're afraid of being hated by despicable people.
That's what it means.
So, anyway, we're here to talk about something else.
That's right.
You have written a very important piece on the New York Times reporter who was let go.
I have followed this story, but not nearly as much as you have.
Why don't you give us the background on the case and then what you came up with?
Sure.
So in 1976, Donald McNeil Jr. joined the New York Times as a copy boy.
He spent his entire career there, including in the last year, being their top COVID reporter, science reporter.
He's done incredible work from all over the globe, 60 countries with Zika and AIDS. He's a pretty important guy.
On January 28th of this year...
A small piece ran in at the website, The Daily Beast, claiming that McNeil, back in 2019, while on a New York Times-sponsored trip to Peru for high school students, had used the N-word and also had said some sexist things.
Now, I wrote the piece, and as a reporter myself, I thought, this is very, very strange journalism, because there was no context at all.
There were, you know, accusations, but no context.
Cut to the chase.
Within eight days, he was out at the New York Times.
What that transpired was that in 2019 on this trip, someone, a high school student, asked him whether he thought a 12-year-old who had used the N-word with her friend, like joking, her friend who was black, should have been suspended for doing that.
And in asking the question of the student, he used it.
He repeated back what had been said to him.
The Times had investigated this because apparently the students complained.
Alright, hold on.
This is an extremely important story about the state of the New York Times and the media today.
And I will be back with Nancy Rommelman momentarily.
It's my joy to open the week with a note with regard to something that works magnificently.
Relief factor.
Joint pain, muscle pain and the like.
Neck pain, back pain.
Leg pain, arm pain, ankle pain.
You get the message.
It is phenomenally effective.
If it doesn't work in three weeks, they say, it probably won't work.
So they have a special price for three weeks at Relief Factor, $19.95 plus shipping, relieffactor.com.

Peter, is there a crisis on the border?
No, there isn't a crisis.
There are five crises.
There's a humanitarian crisis, public health crisis, economic crisis, national security crisis, and a law enforcement crisis.
And when I say an economic crisis...
By that I mean we're having an influx of illegal immigrants that's going to harm the job prospects of millions of people who are currently unemployed because of the pandemic in addition to other things.
And they're going to be competing with those folks.
As far as national security is concerned, whenever you don't enforce the border, you don't know who's coming across.
And ISIS said and Department of Homeland Security have said a number of times that they've found all manner of folk coming across the border, Iranians, Chinese, and others.
And we don't have a handle on that right now.
It's a law enforcement crisis because all the data shows that with respect to serious crimes, murders, rapes, robberies, illegal aliens generally have higher crime rates than do Native Americans.
As far as public health is concerned, it's self-evident.
We have to have proof that we are COVID-free when we enter the United States, okay, lawfully, on a plane or through the traditional entry process.
Thousands of illegal immigrants are coming across.
We don't even know who's coming across, but we're waving them across without any COVID tests.
They could be transmitting COVID or other diseases.
We don't have a handle on that.
They have pretty much declared that they can come across.
There's an amnesty.
They'll get free health care.
This entices a lot of people to make an arduous journey be exploited by the cartels, by coyotes.
This is reprehensible what's happening.
There's one objective here.
We all know what the objective is.
The principal immediate objective is turn Texas blue.

As the Wall Street Journal editorial board points out, the Biden-Harris administration has changed to full-throated encouragement.
Though not before continuing to Trump, Trash, rather, the Trump efforts.
The White House is saying, you just heard Biden.
Oh, the previous administration didn't contract for enough vaccine.
We fixed all that.
That's a lie.
As the Wall Street Journal points out, the supply was ramping up very quickly.
The real problem...
was the last mile of distribution controlled by the states.
Governors like Cuomo tried to satisfy political constituencies that wanted early access to vaccines, adding complexity and bureaucracy that confused the public.
Biden made the same mistake.
All right, let me reprise let me reprise or reprise this episode.
New York Times reporter Donald McNeil Jr. Let go by the New York Times after 47 years, I think it is, with the Times.
I'll get the exact detail from Nancy Rumbleman in a moment.
She's on the line.
She's written an important piece on this.
And he...
He was let go because he used the N-word.
It came out two years ago with a New York Times sponsored trip with young people to Peru.
Now, Nancy, one of the things that people following this story don't seem to ask or conclude Is how loathsome the Daily Beast is.
Well, I have two thoughts on that.
As a journalist, when I first read the piece, I thought it was bad reporting because I would never, as an editor or a reporter, I never would have filed a story that didn't offer context.
I mean, that's a horrible thing to do.
It's unethical.
I did have someone speak to me who's a media reporter, and he said, you know...
Someone gets a scoop.
They write about it.
They didn't have all the details.
That said, it seemed to me they were sort of doing the bidding of some people at the Times that wanted to...
I mean, somebody at the Times leaked this internal investigation to the Daily Beast.
Why?
Why two years later something that had already been put to bed?
Why would you do that?
Well, you do it because you know that it's probably going to get this guy camped.
Right, but he's not a conservative.
No, he's not.
Oh my goodness, Donald McNeil Jr. is not a conservative.
He fought for the unions.
He was a very, you know, a hard-working guy.
Definitely old school, older than most of the people that are complaining about him.
Certainly older than the high school students on the trip he was in.
But the problem is, he used the N-word during a conversation about racist language.
Right, right.
Again, I want to make that clear because this happened to me.
Where I didn't even say the word.
I just said that what the left has done, making it impossible to say it in any context, and I said it was evil to call somebody the N-word, but just opposing the ban on the word, if you're describing Mark Twain's literature, it's literally the only word in English that cannot be said in any context.
So McNeil says it.
Now, how did he say it exactly?
Repeating what the student had asked?
Explain.
Someone asked him, do you think the student should have been suspended for using the N-word?
And he said, well, was she like saying to someone?
Or was she like quoting from a rap song or a book?
And he basically said back to the student what had been said to him.
So that's context.
Let me just piggyback onto something you just said.
So I've written three pieces about the McNeil situation, and if your listeners are interested, they have a substack under my name.
They can go read the pieces.
They're all there.
And in one of the pieces, I said, look, people don't want to be able to use this word.
They want to be able to weaponize it.
They turn it into little pellets of plutonium.
So of course they don't want it used.
First of all, there's no reason to use the word.
But if you're using it in context, they don't even want that to happen because they want it to continue to be a weapon that they can use.
And I just don't think that's okay.
I do not think that's okay at all.
Right.
You know?
Even The Guardian wrote a piece about how stupid, and it's on the left, about how stupid it is that, you know, quoting Mark Twain, you can't say the word.
I think...
Obviously, times change, and for the most part, that's a great thing.
Yes, right, but never.
It's just moral showing off.
And anyway, it's not a healthy thing.
On my show, it came up because I had mentioned that Truman, who, against the State Department, recognized Israel the day it announced its independence in 1948. He used the word kike regularly in his correspondence, like when he visited New York, and this is reported, and he used the N-word.
But I don't want the thing to become the K-word.
I don't want any Jew.
I'm a Jew.
I don't want any Jew called it.
That's evil.
But to cite Alan, who wrote the great biography of Truman?
McCullough, yeah, which is where I got it from.
David McCullough's biography.
And he uses the N-word in the book.
But if I were to read the book, I wonder if the Audible actually says the word.
And would the guy be fired if he said the word?
I have a friend of mine, Jesse Tingle, has a book coming out.
And he's writing about a lot of social psychology.
And he realized when he was doing the audio book, it was there.
And he said to the director, maybe we should just, you know, not say the word.
They said, absolutely.
We should not say the word.
Right, even though it's written in the book, so this is what we've come to.
Yes, and to echo a bit of what you're saying, it's a very, very bad idea to scrub history.
It is a very bad idea, because how are you going to learn, okay?
How do you learn to do better and maybe what wasn't a great idea if you get rid of everything in the past?
Well, never forget, right?
Isn't that what we're supposed to do?
We're not supposed to forget?
There's no question.
So just tell me, what did you learn in the McNeil story that we may not know?
Well, I mean, it's pretty obvious that it's an activist contingent at the New York Times who has either got upper management shaking in their boots or agrees with them.
You had Dean Bate, who's the executive editor, who at one point said, intent doesn't matter.
Can you imagine a newspaper person who says intent doesn't matter?
Well, Brett Stephens wrote a great piece in the New York Times on this notion of intent doesn't matter.
And how this ends the human race.
I mean, we become automatons.
It doesn't matter.
If somebody says, I hate the word...
And says it, versus, this is what I use when I speak about black people?
The intent doesn't matter?
Well, you certainly can't run a newspaper that way.
You certainly can't be a storyteller that way.
You certainly can't be a lawyer that way.
And, you know, Bacay backed off of that a couple days later, saying, of course, intent matters.
But, you know, people, you know this, people right now want to be upset.
They're inflamed and they're poised to get that.
Boy, do you know that.
All right, you are special.
See her video at PragerU and her articles are up at DennisPrager.com.

At the end of the year, almost another trillion was agreed to.
And now the new president is proposing an additional almost two trillion.
So far, almost all of this new spending has been financed out of the central bank's creation of new monetary base.
In other words, we printed the money we spent.
Inflation is too much money chasing too few goods.
The Fed is giving us too much money and the low-growth Biden economy will provide too few goods.
And Americans are right to be concerned.

Now let me go to this $1.9 trillion bill.
The Wall Street Journal today included something that made me stand up and say, huh?
The parliamentarian on Monday, the Senate parliamentarian, ruled in favor of Democrats, including health care subsidies for laid-off workers and support for multi-employer pensions.
All I want to know, Senator Cotton, Do multi-employer pensions include state pension funds, which are vastly underfunded, not because of COVID, but because of 30 years of purposeful underfunding of pension liabilities?
Well, Hugh, it wouldn't surprise if they do.
I haven't seen what the Senate is proposing yet because Chuck Schumer is keeping it under lock and key, but we've seen what's in the House bill.
Less than a dime out of every dollar will go for coronavirus relief.
This is about Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer paying off.
Democratic clients and patrons.
Look, $350 billion for states and local governments that is going to be distributed in a way that favors poorly run Democratic states.
States, by the way, that in many cases haven't even lost revenue over last year.
The New York Times has a big story about that today.
Likewise, they're going to give $130 billion to teachers unions.
Only 5% of that money is going to go for education this year.
When schools need to reopen and start educating their kids.
Did you know, Hugh, did you know, Hugh, that federal employees whose schools are closed, which is, say, for the most part, federal employees in Democratic-run states, are going to get a weekly subsidy for child care.
So all you poor working stiffs across America are only going to get $1,400 once under the Democratic bill.
Federal employees whose schools...
All right, everybody. everybody.
I'm Dennis Prager, Herman in Detroit, Michigan.
Hello.
Hey, Dennis.
How's it going?
Pleasure to speak with you.
Thank you.
Are you aware of Joe Biden's $1.9 trillion stimulus bill that you just signed?
I'm very aware of it.
Okay, well, I've noticed some inconsistencies in what you've been saying, and I just wanted to fix it up, clear it up.
There might be.
So I hope we do clear it up.
Go ahead.
All right.
So you said that if Hillary Clinton won the 2016 election, it would have been over for the American experiment?
Uh-huh.
And so why isn't it over now that Joe Biden has Senate majority and he's, like, more left of Hillary Clinton?
It is being destroyed.
I give evidence of that every day.
The biggest part of the American experiment was free speech.
That's why we got the Statue of Liberty from France.
And there's less free speech today than any time in American history, including the Civil War.
So it depends what you mean by the American experiment.
There are two aspects, at least.
One is free speech, the other is small government.
We're being defeated in both on an unprecedented basis.
Right, so do you think there's a chance that it can turn around or no?
Like, are we past the point of no return?
No.
If I believe that...
I'm very happy you asked, because you're a young man, and it's not good at 25 to think that you're on a sinking boat.
The boat has holes in it, but it has not yet sunk.
If I didn't believe...
If I thought the cause was hopeless...
Why would I broadcast every day and write as much as I do and work as hard as I do?
I would just retreat into my audio system and my hobbies and my family and my friends.
I have a rich life outside of battling for the United States.
So that was an important call.
Half of this country understands that half of this country doesn't give a damn about freedom.
But half of the country does.
See, the left is anti-freedom.
Liberals are pro-freedom, but they're pro-left, so they're politically useless.
The liberal is the most confused of the three groups.
The left, the liberal, and the conservative.
The liberal is by far the most confused.
Leftists know what they want to undo Western civilization.
The right knows what it wants to protect Western civilization.
What do liberals want?
You know what they want?
They want to feel good about themselves by opposing the right.
That's what they want.

Peter, is there a crisis on the border?
No, there isn't a crisis.
There are five crises.
There's a humanitarian crisis, public health crisis, economic crisis, national security crisis, and a law enforcement crisis.
And when I say an economic crisis...
By that I mean we're having an influx of illegal immigrants that's going to harm the job prospects of millions of people who are currently unemployed because of the pandemic in addition to other things, and they're going to be competing with those folks.
We have to have proof that we are COVID-free when we enter the United States, lawfully, on a plane or through the traditional entry process.

The principal immediate objective is turn Texas blue.

As the Wall Street Journal editorial board points out, the Biden-Harris administration has changed to full throated encouragement.
Though not before continuing to Trump, I'm not sure.
Trash, rather, the Trump efforts.

Oh, the previous administration didn't contract for enough vaccine.
We've fixed all that.
Biden made the same mistake, asking states to give priority to educators, read teachers unions, school staffers, and childcare workers.
That's arbitrary and unfair.
A 30-year-old teacher who may still work remotely until September is at far less risk than a 50-year-old FedEx driver who interacts with customers all day.

You see, the story of the nursing homes is actually a very complicated story.
The nursing home story is one that we warned about on this program and the great one Mark Levin warned about back in March.
I remember listening to the Mark Levin radio program.
And a woman called into the Great One's radio show and said, Mark, I work for a nursing home association and Andrew Cuomo said, He's now ordering Chinese coronavirus-infected patients to be put into nursing homes.
And at the time, Andrew Cuomo was doing his multi-hour, slow, daily briefings.
Mark Levin asked the caller, this can't possibly be true, and Janice Dean...
Who works for Fox News, claims that both of her parents were killed as a result of this policy.
Let's also get the tape of Janice Dean.
So this was a scandal that we knew was occurring.
Now, putting Chinese coronavirus-infected patients into nursing homes is bad enough.
But Andrew Cuomo decided to do something worse than that.
He doubled down on the policy.
lied about it ever happening.
Hey, everybody!
See...
You're listening to The Dennis Prager Show.
I hope you had a good weekend.
I began last hour telling you of a story that has a lot of lessons in it.
You realize I could bring you stories like this as the only content of my radio show and fill up three hours every day.
So this is about a Creighton University coach.
Basketball team.
And he said to them after a loss, it's a Nebraska-based team, after a loss to Xavier in Cincinnati last week, that he said, guys, we've got to stick together.
We need both feet in.
I need everybody to stay on the plantation.
I can't have anybody leave the plantation.
I assume he meant reservation, because I've never quite heard that saying.
Did you?
Right.
Sean, have you ever heard the saying, stay on the plantation?
You've heard reservation too.
Okay.
That's right.
So, the story is that he was immediately condemned.
This is from the AP. McDermott said he immediately recognized he had made, quote, an egregious mistake.
Egregious mistake.
He made a mistake.
He used the word plantation rather than reservation.
The reason...
I think this is so important is the reactions reveal what has happened to a great many Americans and how the left has weakened the character, the resilience of people.
McDermott said he immediately recognized he had made an egregious mistake, quote-unquote, and addressed with his team his use of a term evocative of slavery and the antebellum South.
Creighton assistant coach Terrence Reacher, who was black, they of course capitalized black, Black is no longer a color.
It is now the name of an ethnic group.
Tweeted that he was, quote, deeply hurt, unquote, by McDermott's words.
Now, you see what has happened here is the weakening of people.
He was deeply hurt.
He works with the coach.
Team has black players.
He was deeply hurt.
I've told the story, but I haven't told it probably in years.
In my early 20s, I was with a friend.
A Canadian friend was visiting.
I don't recall how we knew each other.
Canadian friend.
He's also into photography, so we went to a photography store in Manhattan.
And when we left, he said, boy, I really Jewed him down.
And I remember thinking, that's an anti-Semitic term, to Jew somebody down.
So how should I react?
That's what I remember thinking.
Am I with an anti-Semite?
And then I thought, well, if he's an anti-Semite, why does he like me so much?
Why are we friends?
So, I completely ruled out that my friend, unbeknownst to me all this time, was really an anti-Semite.
He came from rural Canada.
It was a matter of speech, just like we would say, man, did I get gypped?
Not thinking, oh, that's a reference to gypsies.
And that's a bigoted way of expressing being cheated.
So if you say I got gypped, or we went Dutch, are you hostile to gypsies or to Nederlanders?
In fact, this is the perfect time, Sean, to play the windmill line, since I mentioned, it's not often I mention the Netherlands.
And therefore, I think, there we go.
Another one.
Thank you.
It means hitting the head with a windmill, and I really love it in Dutch.
There you go.
Now, please understand, the reason I'm telling you this story is that I debated how to react.
The infantile world of the left, and it is an infantile world.
That's why they adore youth.
The infantile world of the left believes in the least mature idea, that your feelings should guide you.
This is the great debate.
I'm compiling a list of biblical verses.
I don't think you know this, the living martyr.
I'm compiling a list of biblical verses that the left hates.
One of them is don't follow your heart.
The heart is deceitful.
The whole left enterprise is follow your heart.
So this is what the black assistant coach did.
He knows the coach is not racist.
He works with him every day.
The guy blew it, said plantation rather than reservation.
That's all he did.
Get it?
And it says he tweeted.
Oh, now it's interesting.
He had to tweet it.
He needed to tell the world.
He needed to betray his colleague, the coach, and crap on him in a tweet.
Now, is the coach allowed to be deeply offended by assistant coach Terrence Renscher?
No, of course not!
How could a white be deeply offended by a black?
It's not possible.
It undoes the entire enterprise of the left.
What a disgusting thing to do!
See, remember, politics supersedes human interaction on the left.
Politics is everything.
So he tweets, he was deeply hurt.
Deeply hurt.
Poor thing.
Guy said plantation instead of reservation.
And he's deeply hurt.
And then the university got in.
Jesuit University Creighton.
But it doesn't matter.
It could be an atheist university like Yale.
In a statement, the university called McDermott's language deplorable.
Deplorable!
Is there anything worse than deplorable?
And said it was inconsistent with the private Jesuit school's values and commitment to creating a welcoming environment.
This welcoming environment.
As soon as I hear, there are phrases that the left has simply adopted.
Community is a big one.
Community standards, welcoming environment, inclusive.
While an apology is a start, this is the statement from Creighton.
It's just, it's a start.
And while we believe this was out of character for Coach McDermott, in no way does it diminish the fact that his remark was hurtful to many and has absolutely no place in the Creighton community.
I told you community was showing up.
We have offered our full and unconditional support to those affected by his words.
We have truly produced a weakened American.
And the biggest victims are minorities.
You shall be hurt.
A black who is not easily hurt is not a Democrat.
Yes.
It's deplorable what he said.
Hendrickson and Rasmussen.
Who are these folks?
I don't know who they are.
Anyway.
Met with players in...
Oh, these are heads of the college, I think.

Apology is only a start.

The heads of the college met with players in person in Cincinnati, and both have spoken with McDermott to, quote, unequivocally condemn his language, the statement said.
Next story on this, Associated Press.
March 6th.
Today is March 8th.
Five Creighton basketball players explained in a short pre-game video Saturday why they were hurt by Coach Greg McDermott's remarks in his locker room talk following a loss last weekend.
A sixth player who didn't speak in the video The star guard Marcus Zegarowski said after the 93-73 win over Butler that even though McDermott made a mistake with his choice of words, he loves and supports all of his players.
McDermott twice used the term plantation as part of an analogy urging Team Unity.
The university suspended McDermott indefinitely on Thursday.
You hear that?
Indefinitely.
That means fired.
It means fired?
We'll see.
It's interesting.
After he had coached in a Wednesday loss at Villanova, assistant coach Alan Huss was interim head coach for the Butler game.
I need everybody to stay on the plantation.
I can't have anybody leave the plantation, McDermott told the players after a loss on February 27th.
So here's a player on the team, I guess in the video.
What Coach Mack said hurt me and my teammates, Denzel Mahoney said.
Antoine Jones then said, people speak about inequalities and equalities, but don't truly know what it means to be equal.
And I feel like this is the start for a new conversation to be had in the future.
Let's continue to educate each other and let's continue to grow.
Do you hear these gigantic reactions to a mosquito bite?
Guy used plantation instead of reservation in a pep talk?
Was he advocating slavery?
This is where we're at, folks.
The weakening of the character.
The greatest...
By far, the greatest victims of the left at this time, their greatest hatred is directed to white males and whites in general.
But by far, those most hurt are blacks.
You are no longer Antoine or Jim or...
Whatever female name you want to choose, you are black with a capital B. And you must know you're hated by every white.
Also, we don't think you're capable of living up to the standards that we have set, so we're going to lower them for you.
And most blacks still vote left, despite the utter and total contempt the left has for black people.
This is the damage done.
A healthy black player would have said, this is no big deal, man.
We work with the guy every day.
He's a great guy.
He made a boo-boo.
Let's move on.
Right?
That's called a healthy reaction.
Damian Jefferson said, if I was your son, would it matter then?
Let's not be okay with racism.
Let's start the conversation.
First of all, it's a lie when these people on the left say, let's start the conversation.
They mean, let's start the left-wing monologue.
They don't want a conversation.
Anybody say to them what I just said?
This was no big deal?
Be a man?
And use my analogy when this guy said I chewed him down?
A lot of times in life you just got to say, so what?
You know how you know when to be offended?
When the person does something with malice.
That's when you're offended.
Okay?
That's...
Now, I'm not talking about if you are robbed or if you are beaten or if you are murdered.
But in words, words' intent is huge.
The video ended in silence with all the Creighton players locked arm-in-arm on the court.
Wow.
Gets worse.
Gets worse.
Afterward, lift every voice and sing.
Also known as the Black National Anthem was played.
You ready for the next line?
Neither team was on the court for the National Anthem.
Caller last hour said, so you still think they're unraveling the American experiment when basketball players at a college refused to even go out for the National Anthem?
Do I think America is unraveling?
how would you describe it?
Guy said plantation instead of reservation.
Thank you.
Thank you.
That's what this is all about.
The players were talking about how important it is to love each other.
I never thought of athletes.
Can you imagine the 1927 Yankees speaking about how important it is to love each other?

Can you get more of a sweet person than Janice Dean?
How great is she?
And what she had to go through, that alone, I think Andrew owes an apology for that as well.
I'm amazed that they didn't...
That's the point.
Where's his apology to the families, to the loved ones like Janice Dean, who lost her parents-in-law to the COVID virus because of this governor?

Peter, is there a crisis on the border?
No, there isn't a crisis.
There are five crises.
There's a humanitarian crisis, public health crisis, economic crisis, national security crisis, and a law enforcement crisis.
And when I say an economic crisis...
By that I mean we're having an influx of illegal immigrants that's going to harm the job prospects of millions of people who are currently unemployed because of the pandemic in addition to other things, and they're going to be competing with those folks.
As far as national security is concerned, whenever you don't enforce the border, you don't know who's coming across.
And ISIS said, and the Department of Homeland Security have said a number of times that they've found all manner of folk coming across the border, Iranians, Chinese, and others.
And we don't have a handle on that right now.
It's a law enforcement crisis because all the data shows that with respect to serious crimes, murders, rapes, robberies, illegal aliens generally have higher crime rates than do Native Americans.
As far as public health is concerned, it's self-evident.
We have to have proof that we are COVID-free when we enter the United States, lawfully, on a plane or through the traditional entry process.
This is reprehensible.
It's happening.
There's one objective here.
We all know what the objective is.
The principal immediate objective is turn Texas blue.

It is a delight to be with you.
A young man called me last hour and asked if there was hope.
And there is hope.
Of course there's hope.
We've got to fight.
So it's a perfect segue into asking you to help PragerU.
Twice a year, we devote a month to asking people to support us.
We get a phenomenal response because most people listening to this program understand the unique role PragerU plays with its billion views a year around the world, mostly young people.
I had a Harvard student on the show last year.
She said that these videos and my books changed her life.
And we get that every day.
Every day we hear from people around the world.
It's all free because you make it possible, and whatever you give this week will be doubled, will be matched.

Gave a pep talk to Coach.
Can't leave the plantation.
You've got to stay on the plantation.
He meant reservation.
He got carried away.
Big deal.
You're not allowed to say big deal.
It's only a big deal when leftists say you should harass Republican lawmakers wherever they eat.
Remember that?
The Congresswomen, the Democrats, said that.
That's not a big deal.
It's a big deal if he said this.
It's suspended indefinitely.
Assistant coach tweeted that he was deeply hurt.
It shows you how little real racism there is in the United States that a line like this would deeply hurt.
I wrote a really important article a couple of months ago.
That the very fact that they make up this microaggressions list shows you how little racism there is in America.
They have to invent it to fight it.
Remember, the left doesn't fight real evil, so it makes up evils to fight.
It's very important to remember that.
Ah, our police officer hung up.
Well, it was his theory.
And it was also the living martyrs theory.
Maybe the assistant coach wanted the coach's job.
I don't see how their relationship can be real.
Wouldn't you think that a decent assistant coach would say, Hey, I know...
What's his name?
McDermott's first name.
What's his name?
Greg.
I know Greg all these years.
The guy's not a racist.
Wouldn't you expect that from the assistant coach?
Instead of, I'm deeply hurt?
That he piled on?
How could their relationship be in any way normal?
If I were McDermott, see, in a good world, McDermott would say, one of us is leaving.
If you have that amount of contempt for me, After all these years, not to have my back on a boo-boo, we cannot work together.
You're a slimy SOB. That would be awesome!
Okay?
But he can't say that.
We have to dialogue.
We have to love each other.
Think about it.
What if the head of my station came from, like my friend all those years ago, came from rural Canada, said in passing in a conversation, I Jewed him down.
Can you imagine me tweeting?
I was deeply hurt.
Or would I say, you know, I know so-and-so.
He's no anti-Semite.
Which do you think I would say?
Because I'm more decent than the assistant coach at Creighton.
That's why I would say that.
He's deeply hurt.
Why is he deeply hurt?
Did he think that Greg McDermott is calling for a return to slavery?
Well, this is a true sign of our time to this story.
And what is it, gentlemen?
We shall return.
However, I took it again today because I take it every day.
My wife takes it every day.

relieffactor.com 800-500 8384 You see, the story of the nursing homes is actually a very complicated story.
The nursing home story is one that we warned about on this program and the great one Mark Levin warned about back in March.
I remember listening to the Mark Levin radio program.
And a woman called into the Great Ones radio show and said, Mark, I work for a nursing home association and Andrew Cuomo is now ordering Chinese coronavirus infected patients to be put into nursing homes.
And at the time, Andrew Cuomo was doing his multi-hour, slow, daily briefings.
Mark Levin asked the caller, this can't possibly be true, and Janice Dean, who works for Fox News, claims that both of her parents were killed as a result of this policy.
Let's also get the tape of Janice Dean.
So this was a scandal that we knew was occurring.
Now, putting Chinese coronavirus-infected patients into nursing homes is bad enough.
But Andrew Cuomo, He decided to do something worse than that.
He doubled down on the policy, lied about it ever happening, and then covered it up.
You see, early on in the virus, it's understandable that mistakes are going to be made.
Some Republican governors made some mistakes.
And you course correct.
You say, we shouldn't have done that.

Speaking of studies, one of them was led by the black congresswoman Barbara Jordan, who made the argument that unskilled illegal aliens pose competition to unskilled black and brown workers.
And Coretta Scott King once wrote a letter.
I believe it was you who brought my attention to that.
I wrote a letter to Congress urging them not to relax sanctions against employers who knowingly hire illegal aliens because of the threat that they pose to black and brown workers.
That was Coretta Scott King writing that letter.
Barbara Jordan and others, of course.
But this was at a time when many of our black leaders actually had true, adult, sane concerns about the prospects of African Americans.
These days, I don't want to cast any aspersions on anyone, but if you take a look at our so-called black leaders, they're all in uniform lockstep with the principal interests of the Democratic Party as opposed to the average.
My friends, I'm Dennis Prager.

Thou shalt be hurt.
How to create weaker people.
That's what the left does.
You think most black conservatives would be devastated if they heard the coach use the word plantation instead of reservation?
By the way, of course, had he used reservation?
Probably would have been attacked for that, too.
After all, if Dr. Seuss books are racist, and Charles M. Blow, one of the least impressive of a profoundly unimpressive lot of column writers at the New York Times, a man who has more hatred in him than, well, I was going to say than Paul Krugman, but I think it's a tie.
The latest is Pepe Le Pew.
As a rapist.
Do these people, like...
Do these people live in the real world?
Do you realize what gives them meaning?
Dr. Seuss is a...
Dr. Seuss books are racist.
And...
Disney characters are racist.
And...
Pepe Le Pew is a rapist.
Doesn't it prove how little racism there is, that this is the stuff that they create to find offensive and proof of their gigantic lie that America is systemically racist?
The left is systemically racist.
Oh, if people could say the truth.
Maybe I should do a column.
What if they told the truth?
Remember Drew Brees?
I think that was the most dramatic personal story on this issue of the year last year.
When he said, you know, be really nice if we stood for the flag.
And the next day spoke about how racist things are for blacks.
And how wrong he was to say that.
Wouldn't it have been nice if he had said, there's nothing racist in the comments that I made.
People died, black and white, for what that flag represents, the freest country in history.
And I still think it's wrong not to stand for the national anthem.
But what would have happened is he would not have been able to play on the team.
It would have ended his career.
In my view, he should have allowed his career to be ended.
He certainly doesn't have financial problems.
But he would have been a hero in American history.
Very few people are heroic, so I acknowledge that.
Profiles in Courage is a book John Kennedy wrote.
There are some profiles in courage.
Andy Ngo comes to mind.
He has a profile in courage.
But he had to leave Portland because his life was threatened.
There was a Trump supporter who was assassinated out of nowhere.
It's a very disturbing story.
Well, I think it was assassinated because, unless he had a personal dispute with someone, in which case...
He was still assassinated.
He was an assassin.
A guy targeted him.
That's what assassination is.
You're targeted for death for political or other reasons.
So, anyway, I feel for Andy now.
NGO is his last name.
Who was reading his book?
Did you send me that article of somebody who actually tweeted that he recommended the book?
And has been profoundly attacked.
Okay, everybody.
Let's go to San Antonio and Ty.
Hello, Ty.
Hi, Dennis.
I think you're right on point.
And thank you for taking my call.
I think you're right on point when you say it's...
They're really having to work overtime to manufacture the kind of racism that they accuse America of.
You know what?
The way you summarized it shows you really get it.
Well, I mean, it's a sad state of affairs.
I have an 11- and an 8-year-old, and I look at them, and I weep for my country.
It's the only kind of solace that I can take in it.
They've been born into this, so this is their reality.
But what I was telling you, Carl Screener, is that, you know, I was the little boy sitting in front of the NCAA tournament with his legs, Carl, dreaming of being part of that black, white, whatever it was.
And I used to watch Coach Newton.
And what he has meant for Creighton is quite equivalent and akin to what Mike Krzyzewski...
and these guys have men to the upper echelon.
All right, I want to hear a little more about this coach, this terrible human being.
Thank you.
At the end of the year, almost another trillion was agreed to, and now the new president is proposing an additional almost two trillion.

All I want to know, Senator Cotton, do multi-employer pensions include state pension funds which are vastly underfunded, not because of COVID, but because of 30 years of purposeful underfunding of pension liabilities?
Keep up.
Hi, everybody.
Dennis Pragerst.
The story from Nebraska is really America Today.
What happened to this coach?
And now, Ty, quickly, in San Antonio, you were telling me how much McDermott has done for Creighton, is that correct?
Yeah, he is, in the same way so many of these small schools...
When they get a true leader in one of their sports programs, these individuals become bigger than life.
And then, you know, throughout time you get to see how does the character of this individual, how does this kind of mesh with the bigger-than-life kind of, you know, persona that they've taken on?
Because he took a small school in Creighton that nobody ever really thought of as being a substantial contender once, you know, the schools like North Carolina and Duke and Michigan came on to the Saints.
And this guy, his son played for him, okay?
And I remember looking at this because he took him to the Sweet 16 one year, and I remember looking at his team, and I remember thinking as a kid, I love seeing this because this is a complete underdog story.
You have white kids, you have black kids that are out there just working.
What do you think of the assistant coach tweeting how deeply hurt he was?
I think he's an opportunist.
I think that, you know, Plato said the greatest question a society can ask himself is who's teaching the kids and what are they teaching them.
That assistant coach was rotten before he got there.
The kids that Coach McDermott acquired were rotten before they got there.
And he stuck trying to rationalize and live in a rational world where he brings all these people together.
But they're not focused on basketball.
They're looking for the next virtue signaling opportunity that they can go on social media and trash somebody.
And you're right.
The relationship between this assistant coach and Coach McDermott should not ever be repairable.
He should walk away and he should watch Creighton sink to the bottom of the NCAA basketball stand.
That would be in a good world.
Ty, I'm honored to have you as a listener.
Nobody's going to focus on the despicable tweet from the assistant coach. - Yeah.
Backstabbing the guy he works with.
I don't know how they'll work together.
As far as I'm concerned, if he has the money, enough people responding to this vile cancel culture.
And it's built on sand.
On quicksand.
He said, don't leave the plantation instead of don't leave the reservation in a pep talk to the team.
That's what this is all about.
And if you're a black player on the team and you're deeply hurt, let me just say, you shouldn't be deeply hurt.
You know what?
People decide whether to be hurt.

As the Wall Street Journal points out, the fairest, least political distribution standard is age.

One of the pieces of evidence before the Civil Rights Commission is that 40% of the 18-point, a full 18-point decline in labor rates among blacks prior to the Trump administration came from competition from illegal immigrants.
That's astonishing.
That was turned around under Trump.
We actually had a complete reversal.
We had the lowest unemployment rates among blacks in history, and especially among young blacks.
And labor participation rates for young blacks was going through the roof.
And now just because Trump implemented this, we're reversing this and we're damaging the prospects in a time when we can't afford it in the midst of a pandemic.

O was an U. Louv.

I just knew this was something you all wanted to know.
I had this sense.
It's a sixth sense.
See, I want to tell you something.
I literally cannot make up something absurd to match the absurdities of our time.
There's a great video that will be coming out of PragerU by the head of Babylon Bee.
Which is brilliant.
It is a brilliant website.
It is hilarious.
But he points out that it's almost impossible to satirize reality today.
It's self-satirizing.
I mean, if Dr. Seuss books are removed for racism, what's left to satirize?
You can't make up the absurd.
I have one for you.
Too bad.
You know what?
I should have...
I should have said, do you think I'm making this up?
Or is it real?
Many years ago, I opened up an hour on my show stating that the ACLU has sued the federal government with regard to its use of the letter T in government publications.
That it looks like a cross.
When it's straight lines and it violates the separation of church and state.
So it should have a T with a little hook on the bottom to show it is not the Christian cross.
Most people believe me.
Why wouldn't you?
The ACLU is laughable.
It's risible.
Which is a fancier word for laughable.
If it were not so wealthy, it would be a laughingstock.
It is as interested in civil liberties as you are in fountain pens.
Can't say as I am.
I love them.
So are you ready for the self-parody of the day?
I think, Sean, that either a drumroll or trumpet fanfare is appropriate for today's Biggest idiocy.
And I'm getting neither a drumroll nor a trumpet fanfare.
Am I?
These guys haven't been used in so long.

Here we go, everybody.
This is reported on CNN. Vaccinated Americans should still avoid travel, CBC head says.
This is from two and a half hours ago.
The mixture of...
Of fools and crooks.
And the top of American institutions is one of the revelatory aspects of the Trump administration, whatever you think about Trump.
He made the corruption of the country at the top.
He made us aware of it.
I did not know of it.
I admit it.
Actually, it's a painful realization.
The CDC is run by fools.
The NIH is run by fools.
Or corrupt.
And I think it's a mixture.
Because of the staggering amount of pharmaceutical industry money that goes in.
This, though, is a function of fools.
You've been paralyzed.
Into not using common sense.
Common sense is the enemy of the experts.
People who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are still encouraged to avoid travel.
Dr. Rochelle Walensky, Director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said during a White House briefing on Monday.
That's today.
And Fauci said that even after a vaccination, you should wear a mask.
Now, if you did not say to either of these comments, so what the hell is the good of a vaccine?
That means that you have abandoned your gift from God of thinking clearly.
What the hell is the good of a vaccine?
If I still should wear a mask, or if I still should avoid travel.
There is no level of absurdity that has not been reached.
There is none.
This is the ultimate.
Every time there's a surge in travel, we have a surge in cases in this country, Walensky said.
We are really trying to restrain travel at this current period of time and we're hopeful that our next set of guidance will have more science around what vaccinated people can do.
What does that mean?
What science do you need?
Does the vaccine work or doesn't it work?
Or do you not know if it works?
It sounds completely like they don't know if it works.
Then why take it?
Why should you take it if they have no confidence in it?
None.
Fauci and Walensky have no confidence in the vaccine.
Is that clear?
You still have to wear a mask and you still shouldn't travel.
What does that tell you?
It tells you they don't believe in the vaccine.
So there's a gigantic fraud being perpetrated.
Take something that should have no effect on your behavior.
Why are you not annoyed?
I I'm addressing those of you who are not annoyed.
The fraudulent world, the corruption of the sciences is so deep.
The lies are so transparent, and yet people, oh, got to get a vaccine.
Why?
Why would you get a vaccine?
You can't have it both ways.
You can't say get vaccinated, but still wear a mask and don't travel.
Then there's no reason to get a vaccine because you clearly don't believe in it.
Did they ever say that about any other vaccine?
Did they say that about flu vaccines?
No.
Or any of the vaccines children get?
No.
It's the first time a vaccine has been given and people are told, act the same as you did when you weren't vaccinated.
Tell me why I should not have utter and total contempt for Fauci and Walensky.
Tell me.
What have they done that encourages me to take them at all seriously?
Anyway, I travel, and if I could, I would travel without a mask.
Okay?
This whole thing is a bad, bad joke.
Not the whole thing.
Of course, there's COVID. I never said there isn't COVID. I'm not a denier.
Because they never debate you, they just call you names.
A denier.
A science denier.
Who's denying the science?
Does the vaccine work, Walensky, or doesn't it work, Walensky?
It's astonishing.
Fully vaccinated can visit with other fully vaccinated people indoors without wearing a mask or physical distancing.
- Interesting.
Fully vaccinated people can also visit with unvaccinated people from a single household who are low risk for severe COVID-19 disease indoors without wearing masks or physical distancing.
Walensky said that fully vaccinated people should continue to wear masks and social distance when they're out in public.
So this will never end, my friends.
This will never end.

Well, my question is, I was having a conversation with a friend of mine about systemic racism, and I mentioned one of your nuggets that actually more white people, unarmed white people are killed than black people.
And you say, of course they are, because there's more white people in this country than black people.
So what's the answer to that?
I didn't know how to come back.
Real simple.
White people are what percentage of the population?
Around 61%.
What percentage of the homicides are committed by white people?
50%.
Meaning they commit...
As a percentage of their population, less murders than blacks do at 13%.
We commit almost half of the homicides at 13%.
So at 13%, we're far, far more likely to be an offender and a victim of a homicide.
A young black man is anywhere from 7 to 10 times more likely, Larry, to be the victim of a homicide almost always at the hands of another young black man.
The leading cause of death for young white men, Larry, is accidents, like car accidents.
Or pool drownings, the leading cause of death, preventable or non-preventable for young black men, homicide, almost always at the hands of another black man.
That is why the police are there.
It is true that the police are two and a half times more likely to kill a black suspect.
It's also true, as I said, that a young black suspect is seven or eight times more likely to be a victim of a homicide.
That's why the cops are there.
You look at a city, Larry, like St. Louis.
St. Louis is about 45% black.
About 300 homicides last year.
90% of them black on black.
Baltimore, 65% black.
About 400 homicides last year.
90% of them black on black.
Chicago, a third black, a third white, a third Hispanic.
70% of the homicides black on black.
Tell your friend that.

President Biden sent signals and the people of Central America heard them and they are marching towards our southern border in ever-increasing numbers.
I mean, it's actually sort of an extraordinary rise.
Is anybody covering that?
It's like geometrical expansion of the problem.
Well, they're trying to minimize it as much as possible, but they can only minimize it so much when you just look at the reality of what's happening on our southern border.
I've been predicting since last fall that if Joe Biden became president, there would be a huge migrant surge at our border.
You cannot promise the world amnesty and catch and release and open borders and even free health care, which the Democrats are putting into their Pelosi payoff bill this week, and not expect there to be a huge surge at the border.
And we started seeing it happening in November, and it's only continued.
I mean, we're in the middle of February, Hugh.
Texas just suffered a brutal freezing winter storm, yet they have record numbers of migrants to include unaccompanied children at the border.
What does Joe Biden and his administration think it's gonna be like in 60 days when it's warm in Mexico and Texas?
That's why they need to reverse these policies immediately.
You certainly don't need the Secretary of VHS going up, as he said yesterday, we're not saying don't come, we're just saying don't come now.
We're saying come, come and we'll let you in.
They have also opened a new center.
For unaccompanied minors in Texas.
But I also noticed this new center has bars on the windows too.
Are we going to have outrage media coverage here like we did with President Trump?
Something tells me that they're going to be now known as unaccompanied migrant child playgrounds and classrooms as opposed to kids in cages.

Hi everybody!
I'd like to tell you about a major video.
Namrata Singh Gujal is a filmmaker and an immigrant.
Her film, America's Forgotten, uncovers the unintended consequences of a broken immigration system.
The journey led Namrata, a registered Democrat, to truth she never intended to find.
She found out how much Americans are being lied to regarding our immigration policies at the border.
People on both sides of the aisle acknowledging that people would be outraged if they knew the truth.
All credits had to be hidden for fear of retribution.
But we don't hide from the truth.
We expose it.

I see absolutely no reason for you.
This is the first time I'm saying this, and it's based solely on Fauci and Walensky.
Why would you take the vaccine if they're telling you to wear a mask afterwards and telling you that you can't travel?
So, in any risk-benefit analysis, I don't understand what the benefits are.
This is the first time a vaccine has been announced to be so ineffective.
That's what it is.
It's actually, it's angering.
You are advocating a fraud.
By advocating the vaccine.
You can't have it both ways.
Either tell us it's effective, in which case I believe people should weigh the issues and take one if they wish.
But then if you tell us there are no benefits to taking it, you have to still wear a mask.
A terrible social idea.
Terrible.
And you shouldn't travel.
As Walensky just announced, why the hell should people take the vaccine?
It's mind-boggling. - Mm.
It is just mind-boggling.
Ron in Portland, Oregon.
Hello.
Hello.
Thank you for taking my call.
Yes, sir.
I think I've got a possible answer for your question about why so much confusion on why getting the vaccine.
I remember about a month ago, I heard a radio program.
I don't know if it was a doctor or who he was, but he was saying that taking the Moderna or the Pfizer vaccines, which are a new approach in vaccines, They actually don't prevent you from getting COVID-19, but they greatly reduce the symptoms.
So a person that has both shots, I'm getting my second one tomorrow, theoretically I could go out and I could be exposed to someone who has COVID-19, I could get it, I could go visit my grandkids, I could transmit it to them, but I wouldn't get the symptoms, like I say, the very severe symptoms.
And I think the difference, there's another difference.
I think the Johnson& Johnson is the old-school way of making a vaccine.
And the Pfizer and the Moderna are a whole new concept.
Right.
They're mRNA.
The other one is actually the virus.
Right.
Which is the traditional way.
Well, a couple of things, and I am very happy that you're called.
Thank you.
One is, the danger of your transmitting COVID to your grandchildren is about as great as your grandchildren getting seriously sick.
There's a greater chance that you will die visiting them from a car crash than there is that happening.
Children, overwhelmingly, they just, with rare, rare exceptions, don't die from COVID. I don't know what any grandparent would fear in visiting their grandchildren unless they fear the transmission in the other direction, which is pretty rare as well.
This is a pretty crappy vaccine.
If that doctor...
I heard that.
I've heard that.
Right.
You can still...
You can get the vaccine, it'll prevent you from getting bad symptoms, but you could still get it and transmit it to others who will die from it.
So listen to how crappy this vaccine is.
You get vaccinated, and you can still kill people with COVID after being vaccinated.
You can't travel, and you have to wear a mask.
If that is not the crappiest vaccine, in fact, it's a lie to call it a vaccine.
It is different from every vaccine in the history of vaccines.
It is essentially worthless.
What else doesn't it do?
Doesn't prevent you from killing others, doesn't prevent you from taking off a mask, and doesn't prevent you from abstaining from travel.
Wow, I can't wait to get that vaccine.
God.
Sean in Columbus, Ohio.
Thank you for calling.
Sir, how are we doing today?
I respect your position, but I have to disagree.
And my question is, first, what would be the motive of science to make these regulations to shut down the country, wear masks?
What would be the motive to say this if it wasn't to benefit the country?
There are two answers to you.
One, motives, noble motives, The only sinister motive that I can think of is the fact that the NIH and CDC receive staggering sums of money from the pharmaceutical industry.
That's why I believe that that is the sinister reason.
Let me finish.
If I can't finish, I'll put you on hold.
Okay, good.
I let you talk, you let me talk.
You asked me a question.
Here's the sinister motive.
The proof is hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin.
They're worthless to the CDC because they're so cheap.
Stay on with me.
I am not letting you go.
I give you my word of honor.
You are still a green light on my board.
There's no money in ivermectin.
No money in hydroxychloroquine.
There's a lot of money in Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson& Johnson.
You wanted a sinister motive?
There it is.

And there are a number of others, Barbara Jordan and others, of course, but this was at a time when many of our black leaders actually had true, adult, sane concerns about the prospects of African Americans.
These days, I don't want to cast any aspersions on anyone, but if you take a look at our so-called black leaders, they're all in uniform lockstep with the principal interests of the Democratic Party as opposed to the average American and average black American.
We've had hearing after hearing at the Civil Rights Commission.
There have been numerous hearings before Congress found this.
The evidence is plain.
Yes, you're going to get contrary arguments from people.
I would urge your listeners, take a look at the data.
And now, just because Trump implemented this, we're reversing this and we're damaging the prospects in a time when we can't afford it in the midst of a pandemic.

you you Federal employees whose kids' schools are closed are going to get that $1,400, and then they're going to get $1,400 every single week if this bill passes for three months.
You know, I couldn't actually believe that when I read it, because it's $21,000 per federal employee.
And I know that the National Treasury Employee Union, I used to deal with all of them at OPM. I know they're powerful.
But that's an astonishing and a stupid political move.
Wait until people find out that federal employees whose jobs are not in danger, they're going to get $21,000.
Senator Cotton, I can't believe it.
They've all been working, or maybe I should say working, in air quotes, since March.
They haven't been going into their federal offices.
They've been working from home.
If they're in, say, Chicago, and there's some bean counter for a federal bureaucracy there, They've been getting full income.
They haven't had to go to the office for months.
Their schools are still closed.
And they're going to get $1,400 every single week because their kids' school is closed because they live in a democratic city.
Meanwhile, if you're a single mom trying to wait tables in Chicago and make ends meet, first off, your job has probably been closed.
And second, you don't get that money because your kids' schools are closed.
It's grossly unfair.
It's just this bill is almost entirely a payoff.
For Democratic constituencies, teachers' unions, state and local employees' unions, federal unions.
Let's just say there's some divisions inside the Democratic caucus, and I think Chuck Schumer is trying to work through those divisions, and we'll see what happens.
Hopefully, they'll go back through the drawing board and be willing to sit down with us and pass the bill that actually is narrowly tailored and targeted to people who really need relief.

Anything that you'd like to ask or respond to?
Just basically, I think the biggest problem we're going to have is just misinformation.
And until we get the herd immunity, which is about 60% to 80%, we're at 30%, then it's just a little more patience.
I understand everybody's miserable, but I think by saying the vaccine doesn't work, we're working against ourselves.
They're saying it doesn't work.
I don't say it doesn't work.
Walensky and Fauci say it doesn't work.
But the only reason they're leaving those restrictions on is because they don't want to pull them early and fall backwards.
No, no, no.
I'm sorry.
It's a non sequitur.
What you said, and I mean this with all respect, makes no sense.
Either the vaccine works.
Look up the definition of vaccine on the CDC site.
I don't know what I said.
Herd immunity.
I understand.
No, no, no.
Herd immunity has nothing to do with what they are now advocating.
Why do you have to wear a mask and why should you not travel after getting the vaccine if the vaccine works?
Please answer that.
Because the vaccine is not effective until 60% of the country...
Okay, that's the first time in the history of vaccines that that is said.
I'm a total believer in herd immunity.
I believed in it from the beginning.
I thought we should never have acted the way we did to crush people's lives.
But that has nothing to do with the word vaccine.
Nothing.
As typical of what is happening in America today, we have entered the Orwellian world of lies.
Get vaccinated with a vaccine that doesn't work.
That is what Fauci has said.
That is what Walensky has said.
Get it?
I didn't say it.
They say it.
It is so ineffective you still have to wear a mask.
It is so ineffective you could still kill people after the vaccine.
It is so ineffective you can't travel.
That's Walensky and Fauci.
If you believe them, the vaccine is a farce.
I don't believe them.
I actually believe in the vaccine more than they do.
They are pathetic.
They are crushers of our lives.
Other than that, it's great to hear from them.
You keep believing in them.
I don't.
All right.
We have a program at PragerU.
Prep, it's called.
And Prep is short for Prager...
Let's see.
Prager...
You, resources for educators and parents.
And I have one of those parents on.
Christiane Gillespie, and she's in California.
Christiane, thank you for participating.
Thanks for having me, Dennis.
All right.
By the way, are you on speakerphone?
No.
Is it a bad connection?
It's not bad.
I would give it a 7.5 out of 10. So, alright, so I heard you have four kids?
I do.
I have four kids, all elementary, well, yeah, from age 10 down to age 4. Okay, so the truth is, as involved, obviously, as I am, PragerU is gigantic.
So I don't know everything that goes on, because I specialize in the arenas of the videos and the scripts and fundraising.
So tell me what Prep is.
All right.
So like you said, PREP is PragerU's resources for educators and parents.
And it's just a program that, you know, some of us as parents, me being in California, I think we've all seen for quite a long time a lot of different indoctrination and political agendas being pushed into the schools on our young kids.
And I think COVID has really opened up a lot of other parents' eyes to it.
I think it's...
The agendas that have gone out in the last year have spread far and wide, and so a lot of other parents are starting to see what we've been seeing here for a long time.
But I think all of us have had our eyes open, and we've just decided, like, we've got to do something about this.
Our kids are being inundated with stuff that we don't agree with, that we don't support.
So how do we change this?
And so PREP is just a group of parents and educators, like it says.
Coming together to support one another, to help come up with other ideas, to say, how do we support this?
How do we support one another?
How do we combat this?
How do we teach our kids truth?
How do we teach our kids American values and about the great values that our country was founded on?
Oh, okay.
Hold on.
There's nothing more important, literally, at PragerU or in the country right now.
The PREP program.
All right, I have a great story with regard to a nerve renew.
I've had tingling in my feet, you know, the pins and needles type thing for much of my life because of what we call neuromas.
People have tingling for a whole host of reasons.
It's a genetic thing with me.
I finally got inserts prescribed to my feet and they worked to a large extent.
I read about Nerve Renew about a year and a half ago, began taking it eight months, nine months later.
I threw away my inserts for the first time in a decade, and I called Nerve Renew, asked them, do you want to advertise on the show?
They were thrilled to.
They have a one-year money-back guarantee at NerveRenew.com, and there's a free two-week trial.

Music Peter, is there a crisis on the border?
No, there isn't a crisis.
There are five crises.
There's a humanitarian crisis, public health crisis, economic crisis, national security crisis, and a law enforcement crisis.
And when I say an economic crisis...
By that I mean we're having an influx of illegal immigrants that's going to harm the job prospects of millions of people who are currently unemployed because of the pandemic in addition to other things, and they're going to be competing with those folks.
As far as national security is concerned, whenever you don't enforce the border, you don't know who's coming across.
This is reprehensible, what's happening.
There's one objective here.
We all know what the objective is.
The principal immediate objective is turn Texas blue.

And we have a parent of four who is part of this program called Christiane Gillespie in California.
So, you meet with other parents who are disturbed by what's happening in schools.
Is that correct?
Yeah, mostly we are on an online forum at this point.
But yeah, we're gathering together online and discussing different ways that we can combat what has been going on in our schools and just encourage one another to stay in the fight.
How do people go?
They just go to PragerU and then they click on the PrEP banner?
Yes.
Go to PragerU.com backslash PrEP.
And you'll be able to find the page and see all the info.
It's a $25 annual donation to join, but it includes all kinds of amazing resources, some that are original resources from PragerU and others that have been curated from other resources that are already out there.
So what is the educator part of the prep?
Well, so this is not just for parents, but also educators who are out there who are, you know, we've got a lot of great public school teachers who are just trying so hard to do their job.
And, you know, they're kind of having things first down their throat to teach kids, too.
And so the resources for the educators are trying to help them.
How do you navigate this as someone who's in charge of the classroom?
How do you...
Teach your kids American values.
How do you stay the course with teaching kids what we were founded on and why that's important?
And so there's resources for the educators as well as parents.
And there's a lot of people in the group, like myself, who we are parent educators.
I am a homeschool mom, so all four of my kids are actually currently homeschooled.
And so I have found a lot of amazing resources that I can use in my little home classroom with all four of my kids.
It's great.
There's K through 12 resources right now.
And so at all ages, there's all kinds of different things from reading materials to online story times that you guys are putting out, little history craft projects, discussion questions, essay prompts.
Tons of great resources, so you don't have to do all the research yourself.
It kind of feels overwhelming.
I know as a homeschool parent, it feels very overwhelming when you're starting.
And there's so many parents who have been thrown into the homeschool realm this year as well who just go, where do I even start with all this?
That's right.
That's what they wonder.
Yes, they're all trying to figure it out.
And you guys have done a great job of just throwing together resources and checking to make sure there are resources you want your kids to be learning from.
And putting them together on a page that we can go there as parents or educators, look at the page, find the different resources, and they're all organized in a way so, you know, if you're looking for writing materials, if you're looking for history, if you're looking for a reading list, there's even a book club, I believe.
Just a lot of great resources there for families and teachers to pick from.
Listen, thank you.

It is an important cause.
So this is Fundraising Month for PragerU.
Anything you give this week is doubled.
PragerU.com 833-PRAGERU. So, what do you think of this basically unique in the history of vaccines?
You get it?
You take the vaccine, you can transmit it to others who can die from it.
You can't stop wearing a mask, and you shouldn't travel.
This is from Fauci and Walensky.
Now, it's one or the other.
Either it's a vaccine and their recommendations are absurd, or their recommendations are accurate and it's not a vaccine.
You can't have both.
It can't be a vaccine and you have to wear a mask.
It can't be a vaccine and you shouldn't travel.
It can't be a vaccine, and you can still kill others with the virus.
Shall I read to you the definition of vaccine from their website?
I'll bet I should.
Give me one moment here, folks.
And here we go.
This is the CDC Vaccines, The Basics.
Vaccines contain the same germs that cause disease.
For example, measles vaccine contains measles viruses.
But they have been either killed or weakened to the point that they don't make you sick.
Some vaccines contain only a part of the disease germ.
A vaccine stimulates your immune system to produce antibodies.
Exactly like it would if you were exposed to the disease.
After getting vaccinated, you develop immunity to that disease without having to get the disease first.
This is what makes vaccines such powerful medicine.
Unlike most medicines which treat or cure diseases, vaccines prevent them.
So it's not a vaccine.
They should call it something else.
A... A minimizer, a helper, a feel-good-about-yourself shot, but they can't call it a vaccine.
They have changed the definition.
Let me ask you a question.
If you got the measles or chickenpox vaccine, could you fly in a plane where everybody had the measles or chickenpox?
Yeah, you could.
Without a mask.
Now why is that?
Because the vaccine works.
Correct?
Clearly, this vaccine doesn't work.
Or it works somewhat.
I'm not saying this.
Fauci and Walensky are saying this.

Do you know that, I think there's a provision, half of it has nothing to do with COVID. And the half that has nothing to do with it, I believe there is an obligation that all candidates for president release their tax returns.
Which I think is disgusting.
I don't really care about them.
But I'll tell you this.
I would like to see Fauci's tax return.
If he's a very, very wealthy man, working his whole life at the CDC or NIH, whichever it is, how did he get that wealthy?
I'm saying if.
If he's not, then it's not an issue.
Do these people have no interest in pharmaceutical companies?
They do give billions upon billions of dollars to the NIH and CDC. I believe it's both.
Is that not worthy of worrying?
You know, it's interesting.
Most of my life I defended big pharma because I said they saved lives.
Part of what I have realized, people say, ever change your mind?
Yeah, here I am.
They've been very corrupting, the pharmaceutical companies, while at the same time saving lives.
Somewhat like the whole medical establishment.
Doctors save lives, and the medical establishment has been destructive.
Life is messy.
All right, everybody.
Don't forget, we're taking a cruise and going to Israel.
