[00:00:00]  I was just handed very sad news.
[00:00:03]  Rush Limbaugh has passed away.
[00:00:06]  And the man was a giant in the media.
[00:00:10]  Even those who loathe him would have to acknowledge he was a giant in the media.
[00:00:15]  I knew Rush every time I saw him.
[00:00:18]  He gave me a wonderful Cuban cigar, even though I'm not a Cuban cigar fan.
[00:00:23]  But he gave me the best.
[00:00:25]  They were great.
[00:00:29]  He was unique.
[00:00:31]  I think he was a genius in political analysis.
[00:00:35]  I do believe that.
[00:00:38]  He saw what others didn't see.
[00:00:43]  I can only say, with regard to his death, that his ability to broadcast to the last week, I guess, was a gift to him and a statement, of course, of his perseverance.
[00:00:56]  It was a gift to him because it means that he didn't have a depressed, painful end as so many people do.
[00:01:07]  I hope he was accompanied by a loved one or more.
[00:01:15]  That's a major voice that is gone.
[00:01:22]  The notion that the man spread hate is only accepted and believed by the left, people who believe the left.
[00:01:34]  We were on at the same time, so I didn't hear him often.
[00:01:40]  Some days when I was off, I would hear him, but I've heard him, of course.
[00:01:48]  Hatred?
[00:01:51]  He was a hater.
[00:01:53]  His producer of all those years was a black man.
[00:01:57]  He adored.
[00:02:01]  But that's the way they label people.
[00:02:06]  Well, he went out kicking, shall we say.
[00:02:11]  Speaking, in his case.
[00:02:14]  May his soul rest in peace.
[00:02:19]  He has a legendary status in American life.
[00:02:30]  I wouldn't have been surprised, given his energy, if he had passed away during a show.
