Thank you.
Today is the day that America enters more of the absurd.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry for my country.
I'm sorry for myself.
Because I love my country.
Impeaching a president who is not in office.
And we're supposed to take this seriously.
The party that is engaged in this absurdity, in this second raping of the term impeachment of its meaning, is calling for unity.
One could make a list of the absurd.
On that list would be that If you say that only men give birth, you're a hater.
If you say that there's only one race, the human race, you're a racist.
Do you understand the absurd that we're expected to accept as truth?
And do you realize the people who are most likely to accept the absurd?
They fall into one category.
Shall I give a multiple choice?
Of people most likely to believe the absurd at this time in history?
A. Blue-collar workers.
B. Residents of Madagascar.
C. College graduates.
Hmm.
Sean, I think we need the bell for the end of the contest.
And the answer is...
Nobel.
Ding!
C, college graduates.
That's it.
Do you realize that?
Think about that.
The people most likely in every arena to believe what isn't true, to believe the absurd, And to be angry are college graduates.
And you're aching to send your kid to college.
Nothing like spending 40, 50, 60 thousand dollars on having my child learn how not to think clearly.
It's an amazing time we live in.
So another lie that apparently pervaded the left is that the officer in the capital who died wasn't killed by any object.
Not just a fire extinguisher, but any object.
This was a big deal to the left, that someone was murdered.
But it turns out...
Someone was not murdered.
Has that even been covered?
I'm posing this to the producer of the show.
Was that covered even in the New York Times?
CNN had it in its eighth paragraph without announcing it on the air after announcing it over and over and over and over and over on the air.
Not that you're aware of.
It all started with the New York Times?
I didn't know that.
I thought it started with CNN. They're interchangeable, but I didn't know that.
Uh-huh.
That's really something.
President Trump was 100% right when he spoke about the fake news media.
That's correct.
This is a problem because then people, good people, good Americans, wonder where can I get the truth from?
If not from the New York Times and CNN, Where shall I go?
So if they say, well, go to Fox News, go to talk radio, then people will say, oh, well, then you just get a right-wing slant.
So people understandably are confused.
However, I've been broadcasting 35 years and never told a lie.
Never.
Capital N. You may not agree with my take on issues, but I'm crazed about telling the truth.
If something inaccurate is said here, and I find out about it, I make a big deal about correcting it.
I have no problem with making a mistake.
I have a big problem with continuing a mistake.
So you learn, how do you know what doctor to go to, right?
Something seems to be seriously wrong.
How do you know what doctor?
By reputation, right?
You don't know.
There's no other way for you to know.
You ask around.
And if over and over you hear that this doctor has real problems in...
In treating patients, you avoid that doctor.
So if over time the New York Times just distorts and distorts and distorts and distorts, and so does CNN, then you just give up on them.
There are wonderful sources of people who actually are committed to truth and might also have very strong opinions.
There's no problem with having strong opinions.
If it is true that the New York Times came up with the lie that Sicknick was killed by a fire extinguisher, and has not even given any of the space of its paper to the fact that the coroner said he was not hit by a blunt object, And you can't get more blunt than a fire extinguisher.
Why are they not reporting it?
Well, who led the campaign to have us believe that there was collusion between Putin and the Trump campaign?
Was it not the New York Times?
Their record is awful.
The record goes back quite some time.
They got the Pulitzer Prize in 1932. I think there's a documentary on this, by the way.
Did you know that?
I've got to see that.
What is it called?
Durante?
I'd like to publicize it.
1932, Stalin deliberately starved to death about 5-6 million Ukrainians.
Deliberately.
And the New York Times reporter in Moscow, not even in Ukraine, reported that there wasn't a famine.
Literally, there wasn't a famine.
While Stalin gave him a cushy, cushy apartment in Moscow.
This unfortunately goes back quite some time, but it's at its nadir now.
I'm Dennis Prager, and the phone number is 877-243-7776.
My column this week...
I finally had the time to devote to this column that I've been wanting to write for some time now.
I finished Deuteronomy.
How many people could say that, huh?
I finished Deuteronomy.
Is there one other person in the country working on Deuteronomy?
I'd like to meet them.
It would be fun.
And so I had the time to devote for the research.
Unfortunately, you have to keep it to a thousand words maximum, a column.
I had a lot more to state.
How many Americans has the American medical establishment killed?
That's my column this week.
If I'm wrong, I really...
I really went off the deep end on this issue.
And that would be correctly held as a black mark on my ability to perceive reality.
But if I'm right, you are living in a world of lies emanating from the medical establishment of our country.
Yet another institution.
Destroyed or ruined by the left.
Who'd have thunk, eh?
You're listening to The Dennis Prager Show.

Here's the broader issue.
If you saw John Kerry, if you saw Gina McCarthy last week, they are so cavalier in condescending about these jobs.
Oh, they need to make better choices.
Some jobs need to be sacrificed.
Here's the big issue.
It's a big political issue.
Every time in the last decade that the National Democrats have had a choice between the men and women who build things in America, a lot of my constituents, energy, resource development, pipelines, and the choice between them and the far left radical coastal environmental groups and interests, they always go with the radical groups.
Now here to me is something that, and I quote these Union leaders, trade unions in particular, in my letter to President Biden.
But here's the argument I've been making for six years with my colleagues, and I think it's more important than ever.
These are men and women that we should embrace.
You know, I won election in 2014 by a little under three points.
I had no union support.
My re-elect just happened.
I won by 13 support.
And the vast number of the building trades in Alaska endorsed me.
They will get behind Republicans who believe in strong jobs, working families.
And I think that's a huge part of the future of our party.
And the Democrats, just disregard them and talk to them in a condescending way.
We should embrace these great men and women who build things in our country.
and now is the time to do it. - Seemingly misrepresenting where she was and what she was doing during the capital tragedy.
For what reason, I'm not exactly sure.
I don't know, so deeply rattled.
I'm still processing the end of my life when I come out.
And I come out, and this man is a Capitol Police officer.
There was no partner, was not yelling, you know, Capitol Police, etc., etc.
But then it didn't feel right, because he was looking at me with a tremendous amount of anger and hostility.
So this was a Capitol Police officer that was trying to help her.
And she immediately said that he was looking at me with a lot of anger and hostility.
Let's go to cut 36, where the story gets even more complicated.
Cut 36. I talked to G, my legislative director, after the fact, and he said no.
I didn't know if he was there to help us or hurt us either.
And G was actually like...
This man came with so much hostility that G was sizing him up and didn't know if he was going to have to fight him.
So like, you know, like so many other communities in this country, like just that presence doesn't necessarily give you a clear signal if you're safe or not.
I want to reinforce what she just said there.
That's a Capitol Hill police officer.
That was there to help you, AOC.
And you had to size him up?
Thank you.
Guys that I have great respect for, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage.
The rates are even lower.
It's bad for the country, but it's great for you.
It's an odd thing to say, but it's true.
So if you are considering a cash-out refi, a new purchase, any sort of refi, a reverse mortgage, And you haven't done it already.
These are the guys with me since last March, when the lockdown began.
It's amazing to think it's a year, and they have been working the whole time.
AndrewandTodd.com Give them a call, no obligation.

I'm Dennis Prager.
And in the Democrats' deep desire for unity, they have decided to impeach the man that half the country voted for a few months ago and who is no longer in office anyway.
Their ability to say whatever they think is expedient at the moment is really, it's almost genius.
And their preoccupation with the lies of Donald Trump, when the world of lies belongs overwhelmingly to the left, as I point out to you on an almost daily basis, those of you who write me letters, Angry with me?
I want you to know I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
It fascinates me to see how other minds work.
I ask when I read these things, why do we think differently?
I don't assume the people who are writing me, in some of the cases anyway.
I don't assume they're bad people.
So how does a person who does not seek to destroy the country Defend the left.
I'll bet you don't know that answer, correct?
See, if you loathe everything about it, then I have no argument with your position in that I understand why you defend or are on the left.
But there are people who think That they value liberty, for example, and defend the left.
It's like, I mean, it's a crazy analogy, but it's like valuing health and defending cancer.
Yeah, there are some really good points about cancer.
It does, it fascinates me to read these things.
I'd be very curious to see what reactions...
my column this week elicit.
My anger at the medical establishment and the Democratic Party and the media for suppressing the information that could have saved tens or hundreds of thousands of Americans who prematurely died of COVID is quite deep.
Do you know that the, I think it was the NIH?
And first they came out against ivermectin.
Their latest report is we take no position.
But in their report they say it has no adverse effect.
It's safe.
So somebody answer this question.
If it's safe and it seems to help vast numbers of people on earth, Why isn't it widely used?
And I don't have a great answer.
It seems that there is deep corruption.
Because pharmaceutical companies make very large sums of money from vaccines and nothing from ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine, let alone zinc and vitamin D. Could that be the reason?
Is the corruption that simple and that deep?
How much money does the...
Do you know how much money pharmaceutical companies contribute to the CDC or NIH? I'd be very curious.
And the media are totally corrupted by the pharmaceutical companies.
I think they're the largest advertisers.
In many instances.
I certainly think that's probably true.
Who advertises more on Fox, for example?
Does Fox?
I'd be curious.
Does Fox promote hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin?
Huh.
There you go.
Let alone CNN. They have ideological reasons.
Because the more Americans are suppressed, The more you can restructure the society.
They actually welcome this.
The idea of the normal has always offended the left because they're a force of chaos.
They love chaos.
As I always note, it's like the drama queen in your family.
They don't want normal.
Normal gets them nervous.
That's the left.
Normal is boring, and the left hates boredom.
Boredom is a major factor.
Remember the million women march in the beginning of the Trump administration?
What were they marching against?
Can any of you tell me?
What did they march against?
The oppression of women in America?
Women are oppressed in America?
Yes, indeed, my friends.
Okay, let's go and see what you have to say here.
John in Ocala, Florida.
Dennis, I've spoken to you about a month or two ago and I promised to write an article on the cruelty of medicine.
If I weren't so crazy busy taking care of everybody in solo family medicine.
But I'm going to tell you, you're right on about the amount of deaths due to COVID that could have been prevented.
I've got to tell you just one story.
I take care of my own patients in the hospital with COVID. And frankly, because of hydroxychloroquine and now more recently ivermectin, and I'm not boasting.
I give all the glory to God when people are healed.
but I have not had a single patient out of two practices die from COVID that I've been able to treat because I was fortunate enough to get this information.
But I heard one patient talking to his hospitalist.
I really want to hear the rest of that story.
Did you hear that, folks?
Has your doctor prescribed that to a loved one in the early stages of COVID?
I hope the answer is yes.
Trending now on the Larry Oler Show.
You notice the figure 1.9 trillion just kind of rolls off the tongue.
Now keep in mind, this is the administration that said they wanted to unify the country.
There had to be healing.
There's going to be bipartisanship.
And you know it was all horse poop.
And did the same thing that the Obama administration did.
The Obama administration came in.
Remember all their health care plans?
And the Republicans of Ryan wanted to meet him halfway and had all sorts of ideas.
And Obama says, dude, dude, dude.
We won the election.
You lost.
So we ran on Obamacare.
And we're going to do Obamacare.
So just sit down and watch how we work.
Same thing here.
Not a single Republican buying in $1.9 trillion.
$1.9 trillion used to sound like a lot of money.
But you know who said something about it being excessive and likely to ignite inflation like we've never seen before?
Larry Summers.
You remember Larry Summers, the former Treasury Secretary under President, let me think, I can't remember, I remember now, Barack Obama.
Op-ed piece.
Could ignite inflationary pressures, quote, of a kind we have not seen in a generation, end of quote.
See, young people don't remember inflation.
13.5% during the recession that Ronald Reagan dealt with.
13.5%.

So listen to Trey Gowdy's monologue last night on Fox News, recounting a story and tying it together with his wife, who apparently is an educator.
And what's happening in cities like Chicago right now.
I want you to keep this dichotomy in your mind.
The image of a young boy walking to school for hours, getting in the car with a stranger because he understood the power of education to change his life.
And now contrast that with the image of those dancing teachers in Chicago.
That child knew the power of education and being in school.
I wish the teachers in Chicago knew as much as he did.
That's powerful.
And he's right.
He's right.
800-655-MIKE. Let's get your reaction.
Here's the Chicago mayor, Lori Lightfoot, begging the Chicago teachers, please go back to work.
And as the expression goes, the proof is in the pudding.
CPS had three weeks of successful implementation of these mitigation plans in our schools.
That was until the CTU blew up that success and created chaos that we are now enduring.
And also remember, the CPS staff and principals have been in our schools throughout this pandemic, feeding our kids, getting them ready.
for the return of students and continuing the hard work every single day.
What are the Chicago teachers doing?
They're making dancing videos.
They're by themselves on Zoom dancing.

Is it Ocala or Ocala?
Yeah, Ocala, Florida.
Donald Trump made a pit stop here on his campaign, and I'll tell you, Dennis, you've got to keep driving this point home about the horrors that have happened in medicine as a result of arrogance or some other agenda, which I think we know what it is.
The first patient I treated with hydroxychloroquine last March...
was an ICU nurse who took care of the first person who died in our community here in Ocala.
The last person I've treated was the most prominent person here in Ocala whose doctor refused to give him any treatment when he got sick.
I'll tell you the story that's most upsetting.
When I'm in the COVID unit and I hear a doctor castigating a patient who's begging for treatment, he's been in there for weeks, and...
And the doctors tell the patients, I'm not going to hear any of your conspiracy theories.
I don't want to hear anything about Anthony Fauci.
I've heard taking care of people with COVID. They either live or they die, and that's it.
This young doctor came out in the hallway, and he knows me very well.
He's very respectful to me.
He says, oh, how are you?
I said, well, listen, I just heard that conversation.
And I want to let you know that that patient who's been sitting in that bed for four weeks with nothing but his phone and no visitors knows more about COVID than you do in your pinky finger right now.
Because you've just been going through the motions and not trying to learn anything about how to treat.
The doctors in America have abandoned patients during COVID. Now, I'm not saying they haven't worked hard.
But what they have been doing is they've been refusing to listen to each other and entertain other appropriate ways of treating.
Thank God for doctors like Peter McCullough in Baylor, Harvey Misch at Yale, Pierre Corey in Milwaukee.
And they invited me to join their group some months ago.
It's really helped me to learn so many ways of treating, including ivermectin.
And yes, we're fighting an uphill battle because the hospitals, in many cases, are refusing to have it in their formularies.
And patients are dying when they could be treated and getting well and go home.
And what's the answer?
I salute you, truly.
God bless you.
And I'd like you, please, to read my column today.
And let me know what you think and if you want to spread it.
Obviously, I have no monetary interest in this.
It's free.
But tell me what you think of it and please send it around.
He said, that is, this doctor in Ocala said something I have said now a number of times and even I hear my mouth say it, and I think it's strange.
I know more about treating COVID than most doctors in the United States.
That's terrible.
They know more about how viruses work.
There's no comparison.
But I know more about what is going on in the world of therapeutics than they do.
I don't know why they don't.
I think, believe it or not, I think a lot of doctors read the New York Times for their knowledge of drugs in the case of COVID. God alone knows how many Americans have died needlessly because of the lack of using therapeutics,
specifically ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, zinc.
But it's a large number.
There is blood on the hands of the medical establishment, the NIH, the CDC, the FDA. There's blood.
A lot of American blood on their hands.
Just a report that came out this week, or not this week, a couple of weeks ago, and amazingly, it's found on the NIH website about how ivermectin in India cures almost everybody who uses it early enough.
The NIH printed it!
I gotta pick it up and read it to you.
So what do people who don't give a damn about these people's lives say?
They say, oh, it wasn't a double-blind random test.
Oh.
Okay, so let people die.
Right?
All these doctors reporting it works.
As one doctor who calls into my show said, they're quacks.
They're quacks.
That doctor allows his patients to die, but those doctors are quacks.
The rot runs deep.
Don't give up, though.
Do not give up!
I am pleased to tell you, because I don't like...
Rituitous pain.
I've had for much of my life tingling in my feet from neuromas, and I was told by a wonderful doctor who takes care of nerves, Dr. Shulian in L.A., told me about vitamin B and so on.
I had inserts, which helped a tremendous amount.
I got rid of my inserts nine months after starting to use Nerve Renew.
And you can order it with a two-week trial, but there is an entire year money-back guarantee.

The Biden administration announced in their first week that the U.S. is rejoining the World Health Organization.
But the WHO is a flawed group, one that has performed poorly while the world has struggled with COVID-19.
Early on, the group was far too deferential to China, even parroting Beijing's early claim that the virus could not be transmitted between humans.
Since then, an independent panel concluded that the WHO dithered in its response, waiting too long to declare an international emergency.
All the while, the WHO has continued to block Taiwan's participation because of political objections from the Chinese government, despite the fact that the world has much to learn from Taiwan's exceptional response to the virus.
Before rejoining the WHO, we should have demanded some accountability and reform from the group for the $400 million in taxpayer dollars we send to it each year.
It looks like we'll keep on writing blank checks to the WHO, which they are more than happy to keep cashing.

The secret history of the shadow campaign that saved the 2020 election.
This is not something where they just Are going to disassemble this.
This is how they're going to do it from this point forward.
So what are the big takeaways?
Number one, the left is just now realizing how much power they really have over us.
I think they're still learning how to use that power.
Number two, the left is willing at almost all costs to sacrifice truth for power.
Number three, persuasion means very little when the other side is actually concerned of how the election is going to be conducted.
You know, we joked around throughout the first couple weeks after early November, after the election, we said it doesn't matter how people vote, it matters who counts the votes.
Remember we joked about that?
Well, they say here, in Podhorser's presentations, winning the vote was only the first step to winning the election.
After that came winning the count.
Winning the count.
Can you believe it?
Not just what people think, but actually how the votes are counted.
Winning the certification, winning the electoral college, and winning the transition.
This is now going to be how they will handle every single election from this point forward.

Hello.
Mr. Prager, this is an incredible honor for me.
Tom, thank you.
I'm going to blame you for something, sir.
And real quickly, it's from listening to you in about the last three, four years that...
So I would tell you previous to that, if anyone would have asked me if man's natural state is good, my answer would have been, of course.
And it's from listening to you over the last few years that A, led me to question that.
And B leads me to the reason I call you today, sir.
And I would tell you the reason for that is I believe this was done intentionally purely to harm this president, the last president, I should say.
Had Donald Trump come out against hydrochloroquine, against zinc, everyone would have gotten it.
But I really feel, and I hate to be conspiratorial, I really believe that this was suppressed out of a point of view that it might help this president, and nothing could be done to help that.
He's still the president as far as I'm concerned, but whatever.
That's another topic.
Well, number one, you made my day in the first part.
That I have influenced you to understand that human nature is not basically good.
Next to the question of God, specifically the God of the Bible, not just God, that's the most important question that one has to answer in life.
In fact, I'd rather you be an agnostic and understand that human nature is not good than be a believer in God and think people are basically good.
Because that belief leads you to stupidity.
And someone who believes in God and is a fool is still a fool.
So, okay.
As regards the issue of was there any consistent preoccupation with denying the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine, there's no question.
It is astonishing that the left did not ask, how do we save lives, but how do we hurt the president?
The president comes out with a statement about hydroxychloroquine, and they dismiss hydroxychloroquine, because the man they hate said it.
The left has so much blood on their hands in this country, but that includes the media, and they're not going to take any responsibility for it.
Instead, we have how many troops in Washington, D.C.? We live in this theater of the absurd.
Half a billion dollars, is that what you said to me?
Five hundred million dollars to put troops in D.C.? Why are there troops in D.C.? Is there an invasion of the cookie monsters?
It's more likely than an invasion from the right.
It's very important that you keep your sanity as the left sows chaos.
Very important.
That's why I feel a moral duty to broadcast regularly.
I mean, virtually every day, obviously.
What am I? I'm taking President's Day off, correct?
Yeah.
Are they going to have impeachment going on on President's Day?
You have no idea how I'm not looking forward to commenting on the absurd.
There was a scholar who once got up to talk about a subject he thought was absurd.
And he said, this is absurd.
But the history of the absurd is scholarship.
Then he said, it's like comic books.
Comic books are absurd.
But the history of comic books, that's scholarship.

But the it is a terrible joke on the society.

I'm still processing the end of my life when I come out.
And I come out.
And this man is a Capitol Police officer.
There was no partner.
Was not yelling, you know, Capitol Police, etc., etc.
But then it didn't feel right.
Because he was looking at me with a tremendous amount of anger and hostility.
So this was a Capitol Police officer that was trying to help her.
And she immediately said that he was looking at me with a lot of anger and hostility.
Let's go to cut 36, where the story gets even more complicated.
Cut 36.
You know, it's really an amazing thing.
It's going to come out that...
This talk show host told you the truth about how to save the life of a loved one who has COVID, and your doctor may have enabled your loved one to die.
And you'll enter a realm of cognitive dissonance.
Why would a non-doctor, speaks on the radio, Know more about how to save my beloved relative or friend than my doctor or his or her doctor.
And the answer is, I don't have an agenda except to save their life.
Whereas your doctor is angry that Donald Trump advocated hydroxychloroquine.
And there are other reasons.
Because they read the New York Times to learn about the drug, and they don't read the actual literature, which I delved into.
And the studies around the world, oh, they weren't randomized, double-blind.
No, they weren't.
So what?
So what?
Most studies are not.
Why would you not go with as close to completely safe a drug as possible, rather than do nothing?
Except wait to give the death-oriented ventilator at the end.
Ooh, it's angering.
But we'll see what happens.
Maybe this will convert some people from the left, which has killed their parent with their opposition to hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin.
Which...
Social medium took down the Senate hearing?
YouTube?
Is that astonishing?
A U.S. Senate hearing with doctors advocating ivermectin has been taken off YouTube.
Check if it's put back, because people should see it.
I'd be very curious about that.
Mike in North Carolina, hello.
Hello, Dennis.
Hi.
I told your call screener that we share the same birthday on August 2nd, 1948. Holy crow!
Where were you born?
How about that?
I was born in Buffalo, New York.
Other side of the state.
Yes.
Alright, quickly tell me your story.
Quickly, I had COVID, and I was pretty sick with it, but I got in, my son took me in, and I was able to get into an investigative study with a product called Bamlanivimab, and it's very similar to the remdesivir that the president took.
And within a week, I was feeling good enough to get going again, doing all my volunteer work.
Well, I am delighted to hear it.
I don't believe that mine are the only cures.
I do believe that they are cures.
This is Lon H.N. of the Hoover Institution for townhall.com.

This is now a playbook.
This is now going to be how they will...
handle every single election from this point forward.
You notice the figure 1.9 trillion just kind of rolls off the tongue.
Now keep in mind, this is the administration that said they wanted to unify the country.
There had to be healing.
There's going to be bipartisanship.
And you know it was all horseback.
And did the same thing that the Obama administration did.
The Obama administration came in.
Remember all their health care plans?
And the Republicans of Ryan wanted to meet him halfway and had all sorts of ideas.
And Obama says, dude, dude, dude.
We won the election, you lost, so we ran on Obamacare, and we're going to do Obamacare, so just sit down and watch how we work.
Same thing here.
Not a single Republican buying in a $1.9 trillion.
$1.9 trillion used to sound like a lot of money.
But you know who said something about it being excessive and likely to ignite inflation like we've never seen before?
Larry Summers.
You remember Larry Summers, the former Treasury Secretary under President, let me think, let me think, I can't remember, I remember now, Barack Obama.
Op-ed piece.
Could ignite inflationary pressures, quote, of a kind we have not seen in a generation, end of quote.
See, young people don't remember inflation.
13.5% during the recession that Ronald Reagan dealt with, 13.5%.
Prices increasing 13.5% every year.
You guys don't know from that.
Again, this is Larry Summers.

And created chaos that we are now enduring.

The impeachment of the president trial in the Senate is beginning.
and Nobody expected President Biden to be impeached, so this is quite remarkable.
He is, after all, the president.
I don't know how you impeach anyone else other than a president when you impeach the president.
But the Democrats can get away with anything because the media is their lapdog.
So, let's hear what the opening sounds like.
Senator Schumer speaking, is that correct?
You can't tell through the mask?
Who's speaking?
Let's hear.
The question occurs on the adoption of the resolution.
I ask for the yeas and nays.
Is there a sufficient second?
There appears to be there is a sufficient second.
The clerk will call the roll.
Ms. Baldwin.
Ms. Baldwin, aye.
Mr. Barrasso.
Mr. Barrasso, aye.
What are they voting on?
Whether or not...
Aye.
Mrs. Blackburn.
Let me think of something absurd.
They're voting...
Here, you can turn that off.
Aye.
They're voting on, I know, whether to add four days to February.
They could pass that.
They would have February 33rd.
No, on a leap year, February 32nd on a regular year.
There is nothing they wouldn't pass.
Because then there are more days to print money.
Welcome to the show.
The president...
Everything about this is just...
is a farce.
There was no insurrection, is that clear?
The officer was not killed by any blunt object, let alone a fire extinguisher.
People spectacularly, foolishly, and in some cases just brazenly and immorally, entered the Capitol.
I condemned it the moment I heard about it.
I have a recording of it.
Because that happened as my show was ending, and my promo was an angry condemnation of the idiocy of what had happened.
Republicans all condemned it within the hour.
It took Joe Biden four or five days to condemn far greater, far more damaging riots that occurred this past year, last year.
But none of this matters because when you have all the media virtually saying what you want, then it's fine.
Did you hear the press conference where she was asked some questions and just didn't respond?
And they don't badger her.
You don't badger a Democratic press secretary.
When I compare this to the previous...
Press conferences.
Sarah Huckabee wants to run for governor, correct?
She's running in Arkansas?
I got to like her.
There is a fire...
I did a fireside chat with her.
You can see that at PragerU.
Last week's fireside chat...
I've done now 175, I think it is, fireside chats.
I haven't missed a week in 175 weeks.
If I know I'm going to go abroad, I will do them in advance.
So there's no week without a fireside chat.
And I believe every one is really important.
You can pick any number and it'll be relevant.
But last week's, not this week's, last week's, I would put in the top five in importance.
I spoke to you about it, and I want to remind you of it.
Given how profoundly flawed human nature is, the achievement of creating the United States of America was astounding.
The left allows the awfulness of human nature to express itself.
And destroy what is good.
When you know how flawed human nature is, you really, really appreciate any good that happens.
To you personally and to society on a societal level.
The accomplishment of making America was astounding.
I don't marvel at the fact that they were bad Americans, or that American leaders had slaves.
These are not aberrations.
Bad is not an aberration.
Corruption is not an aberration.
Lack of freedom is not an aberration.
Freedom is an aberration.
Abolition of slavery is an aberration.
Get it?
The left wants us to be like everybody else.
The idea of America being exceptional is, I love the word, it's risible to the left.
which is a nice word for laughable.
The ideal is Denmark.
Except if they actually followed Denmark, they would know that the Prime Minister of Denmark, a social democrat, has just announced she wants no more immigrants into the country because they, in fact, do not become Danish, do not assimilate into Denmark, and are disproportionately involved in rape and other violent crimes.
What do you say to that?
By the way, Here's a good one for you.
Was that reported in the New York Times?
I mentioned last hour that the New York Times reported that the officer, Sicknick, was killed by a blunt object.
Sicknick, sorry.
And they wrote according to two officers in their column.
The issue is not did they say according to officers.
The issue is did they give as much prominence to the fact that it never happened as they did to the allegation that it did.
What do you think the answer is?
I'll leave it at that.
Yes, indeed, my friends.
Impeachment of the president.
You know how many Democrats should be impeached?
If incendiary talk leads to incendiary actions, the number of Democrats who should be impeached would keep the Senate busy.
How do you impeach a senator?
Can you impeach a senator?
Has anyone ever been impeached?
Because your colleagues have to impeach you.
Was there a threat to impeach Joe McCarthy?
Was that an issue?
Alright, we'll find out.
Okay, let's see here.
Diane in Long Beach, California.
Hello.
Hello.
I was wondering if you recall the TV show in the 60s.
It was a spy show.
And the international organization of evil that they were fighting was called Chaos.
Yes, I do in fact recall that.
And it's an excellent point because as you're telling me that because you know that is my conclusion after a lifetime of studying of the left.
That that's what they want is chaos.
Chaos is the natural state.
Order is not.
That's why law and order strikes a left-wing mind as a fascistic phrase.
Right?
They would never use, we need law and order.
Part of the reason they don't use it is none of them are affected by the breakdown of law and order.
They live in sealed homes, in sealed communities, and many have guards.
Who pays the price for the letting out of all these violent criminals?
Not the wealthy liberal.
The poor guy in the poor neighborhood.
So, what do we have now going on in the impeachment trial?
And who's speaking?
Jamie Raskin.
Sorry?
Jamie Raskin.
Oh, Jamie Raskin.
and he's the conductor of the Left Wings Project.

That means policies.
It means a covenant.
In our case, it means a constitution.

It's a remarkable document.
All of that came to the fore and violent events that interrupted the joint session of Congress to count the votes of the Electoral College.
At the end of the day, our constitutional order proved itself once again resilient.
But that doesn't take away any of the tragedy and the horror of what took place.
It was an enormous stress test on ordered liberty, a stress test brought on by the President of the United States.
We will never give up.
We will never concede.

I know it's your show, so if you want to call it America First, I suppose that's okay, too.
MAGA is fine.
MAGA, I think, is probably most appropriate, though, which is this kind of not nationalistic, but nationistic idea that people should be able to have nations that are sovereign, not subject to supranational entities.
It's not like rah, rah, rah, USA, USA, although if people want to feel that way about their country, more power to them.
But that's not the point.
Poland should be able to be Poland, France should be able to be France, the UK should be able to be the UK, and so on.
And it's a broader philosophy in that regard.
And that we should, in fact, pursue our own national interests as each individual nation, which is really what MAGA is that applied to the American context.
And so these guys are smear artists who are attempting to destroy and discredit that.
Because they are making money and their people are making money hand over fist from the same foreign wars and the same garbage that people turn to Trump to get away from.

And we all wanted that, but everybody thought he was, you know, they thought he was fake, but he wasn't fake.
Gary Carter was a Christian from the age of 20. All the way into his whole entire career and his life being out of the big leagues.

Yeah, he was very successful, Hall of Fame, but at the same time, he lived the life of the Lord and he was a prime example.

From a professional standpoint, but from a spiritual standpoint, they didn't have to go through that process in their life when they were playing.
And I wish I could have experienced that.
that I had to experience so many downfalls and pitfalls, you know, through my career.
Hi, everybody. everybody.
So, the manager of the prosecution, Jamie Raskin, Maryland, he said, the future of the country is January 6th if we don't do the impeachment.
And you can't allow the idea that if a president engages in high crimes and misdemeanors in his last two weeks in office, he gets a get-out-free card.
Essentially summarizing his comments.
He's now showing video linking the president's address to video of rioting in the Capitol.
They dropped the part where he said peacefully.
I didn't hear that.
Maybe it was played and I didn't hear it, but I didn't hear it.
Now are we back to Eraskin now?
Is that correct?
Or is that somebody else?
Yes, they're still showing video.
We can't put it on because there's language that we can't broadcast.
It's so demagogic what is taking place now given the footage of rioting last year for six months around this country that Which dwarfs what happened in the Capitol.
They pushed down barricades.
I condemned it immediately.
That's not the issue.
Everything in life is comparison.
What is my old phrase?
There are gradations of evil.
Gradations of sin.
There are gradations of good.
Nothing on January 6th came close to what happened daily in Portland.
For months.
What happened in New York City?
Chicago?
Seattle?
Okay, just as an example.
But they're not showing the video of that.
They're showing the video of January 6th.
Hmm.
It is so tempting should the...
Republicans take back the House in two years to impeach President Biden by showing what he has said and then connecting it to the rioters around the country.
The only way the left learns is to be done to them as they do to others.
There is no other way.
No appeal to truth or decency.
Or love of country.
That's all a joke to them.
It is just a joke.
They must understand that when they open the floodgates of hell, they get burned.
I don't know of any other response.
The dishonesty of showing this video, it's still being shown.
What does the word say?
Vice President Mike Pence is ushered off the Senate floor.
Vice President Mike Pence is ushered off the Senate floor.
So they're going through the January 6th events.
January 6th is like the Reichstag fire.
That's all it is.
It is a grab for more power, and the proof is all of the guardsmen in Washington, D.C. That's the proof.
They will use, the left will use the armed forces for their benefit.
Not for the countries, but for their own.
They called in...
Almost never National Guardsmen into the cities that were being wrecked by leftist thugs.
Correct?
The idea that President Trump would call in the National Guard, they found completely offensive.
We don't need you.
We don't need you.
But Washington, D.C., where nothing has happened since January 6th, that we need you.
It's all theater, my friends.
By the way, a half billion dollars worth of theater.
But to the Democrats, spending a half a billion dollars is, like you, spending $19.95 plus shipping.
Do cite one of my well-known commercials.
This is what we're going to have to cover this week.
Do you realize how much of my livelihood has been wasted on hysteria of the left?
It actually, it disturbs me terribly because I have important things to talk to you about and the left doesn't allow it.
They suck up the oxygen in society with their hysterias.
Because when this is over, Then there will be more hysteria on global warming.
And the same thing will hold true.
Those who differ with them are anti-science climate deniers.
As if any of us denies that the world is getting warmer.
We're not denying that.
We're denying that your solution is decent.
Helps human beings.
Rather than creates a restructured society.
Now they're continuing to show, what is this, what is happening inside the Capitol now?
Are we now inside the Capitol?
Yes.
Well, the interesting thing is, I wondered that too, an insurrection without any arms.
No one had guns, and no one was deliberately hurt.
This is not just bloodless, it's sprained ankle-less.
There were people who died, but we have no idea what they died from.
Nobody hit them.
The officer who died, and we've been lied to about the fire extinguisher death, but...
What percentage of Americans right now believe that Officer Sicknick, may he rest in peace, that what percentage of Americans believe he was killed by a fire extinguisher?
I'd say 90%.
Because the media lie to you.
They say, oh, it was reported by officers.
But they lie to you because they don't retract the lies.
This is your living through another one of the gigantic lies.
Because they need Officer Sicknick.
They do.
To show you how violent the, quote, insurrection was.
It wasn't an insurrection.
If you use the word...
You're either a true believer in the media or you want to manipulate language in order to hurt conservatives.
This is the world we're living in now.
Taking up the space.
They're still showing the video.
I guess they made a film.
Yeah, that's a good way of putting it.
They made a film.
What is that in the background?
What was that yellow?
Do you have any idea?
God, can you imagine if something were done with regard to Antifa, BLM, for months in this summer?
It would be a week-long video.
Won't be shown, my friends.

Hi everybody, you're listening to the Dennis Prager Show.
Want to hear Jamie Raskin here?
This is the Democrat.
Running the prosecution.
The Framers' original understanding and intent, prior Senate practice, and common sense confirms this rule.
Let's start with the text of the Constitution, which in Article 1, Section 2 gives the House the sole power of impeachment when the President commits high crimes and misdemeanors.
We exercised that power on January 13th.
The president, it is undisputed, committed his offense while he was president.
And it is undisputed that we impeached him while he was president.
There can be no doubt that this is a valid and legitimate impeachment.
And there can be no doubt that the Senate has the power to try this impeachment.
We know this because Article 1, Section 3 gives the Senate the sole power to try all impeachments.
The Senate has the power, the sole power, to try all impeachments.
All means all, and there are no exceptions to the rule.
Because the Senate has jurisdiction to try all impeachments, it most certainly has jurisdiction to try this one.
It's really that simple.
The vast majority of constitutional scholars who've studied the question and weighed in on the proposition being advanced by the President, this January exception, heretofore unknown, agree with us.
And that includes the nation's most prominent conservative legal scholars, including former Tenth Circuit Judge Michael McConnell, the co-founder of the Federalist Society, Stephen Calabrese, Ronald Reagan Solicitor General Charles Freed.
Luminary Washington lawyer Charles Cooper.
Among hundreds of other constitutional lawyers and professors.
I commend the people I named, their recent writings to you in the newspapers over the last several days.
And all of the key precedents along with detailed explanation of the constitutional history and textual analysis appear in the trial brief we filed last week and the reply brief that we filed very early this morning.
I'll spare you a replay, but I want to highlight a few key points from constitutional history that strike me as compelling in foreclosing President Trump's argument that there's a secret January exception hidden away in the Constitution.
The first point comes from English history, which matters because, as Hamilton wrote...
Okay, I can speak now.
I don't think...
I mean, look, obviously we could listen the entire time.
So, you know, you understand the gist of the argument?
That just because he committed a high crime and misdemeanor in the last few weeks of his office doesn't mean that he can't be impeached, which is technically accurate.
That's right.
But he didn't commit a high crime and misdemeanor.
That's a gigantic lie.
There was no truth to it.
It's not even a matter of, well, you know, honest people can differ.
Did he really call for a riot or not?
He had a peaceful rally.
Hundreds of thousands, I am told.
I don't know the number.
Hundreds of thousands of people were there peacefully.
The people went an hour away to, I think it's an hour, 50 minutes, I believe, to the Capitol.
They had planned to do this.
If the president had read poetry the entire time, they would have done this.
The president believes that the election was stolen, the past president.
He's allowed to believe that under the Constitution.
You're allowed to believe whatever you want to believe according to free societies.
But the left, which is always totalitarian, it's only a question of whether they can get away with it or not.
Liberals are not totalitarian.
They enable the totalitarians, but they're not totalitarian.
So the left wants it to be a crime for you to think wrong.
It's like all whites are racist.
It's a lie, but even if it were true, it doesn't answer the question.
Are all whites acting racist?
Right?
But for the left, how you think is a crime.
That's one of the reasons it is such a danger to a decent society.

It's a farce.
Well, I mentioned $19.95 plus shipping.
It has to do with Relief Factor.
That's all it costs for you to try the product.
Relief Factor has an interesting claim.
By the way, I am taking it as we speak.
I took it this morning.
Whenever I get any back pain or neck pain, any joint, whatever it might be, my wife takes it for her knee and I for lower back.
Whatever it might be, the thing's sort of a miracle.
Try it for three weeks.
If it doesn't work in three weeks, they claim, probably won't work.

Hey.
Joe Biden crushed the American energy sector and lost a lot of jobs.
And you sent a letter.
What was the letter about?
So I sent a letter with 26 senators over one quarter of the U.S. Senate saying to our new president, This is not good for the nation.
It's not good for working families.
It's not just crushing jobs when we're in a recession, but it's taken away one of America's greatest strengths.
We've become an energy-independent nation.
As you know, that helps our economy.
That helps manufacturing.
It really helps foreign policy and national security.
And here's the one thing that I want to talk to the president about.
We want to talk as a great group of senators, as you saw in my letter, 2005 to 2017, guess which country reduced greenhouse gas emissions more than any other country in the world by far?
It was America.
So we can create jobs, millions of jobs, grow the economy, grow the energy sector, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions because of this revolution in natural gas.
And we need to press this.
the Biden administration is completely off on the wrong hi everybody Dennis Prager here.
So, Jamie Raskin, the House Manager, speaking before the Senate.
Constant phrase.
He, the President, what was the word?
An insurrection?
President instigated?
Was that the word?
Incited.
Incited.
That's it.
The president incited an insurrection.
The ease with which the left lies is actually...
It's remarkable.
Meaning, worthy of remarks.
It's exceptional.
There was no insurrection.
No insurrection occurred, ladies and gentlemen.
The whole thing is built on a lie.
Just as the...
For three years, we were lied to about collusion with Putin.
They don't care.
They go from lie to lie.
This is a farce.
America is being dragged through the mud.
I hope nobody's watching it.
Believe me, there was a...
I actually...
You know, I'm very transparent, and I tell you.
I actually came in and said, I have no desire to cover this whole thing.
That was what I said today.
We thought about it, felt I have no choice really but to cover the issue.
My instinct is to ignore it.
It's worthy of being ignored.
The best reaction to this is for people to watch cartoons, soap operas, replays of Super Bowls that were interesting, or whatever they want to do.
Teach their kids truth.
The alternatives to watching this farce...
Very large.
But I must say, I find it hard to imagine that a lot of Americans will be watching it.
I may be wrong.
It'll be fascinating to see.
Is this being covered by all the cable networks, correct?
Is it being covered by ABC, CBS, and NBC? That's still a huge audience.
We think cable all the time, but they get more listeners or viewers.
Let's take a look.
Let's take a look.
Sean, do you have a regular television there?
Can you pick up ABC, NBC, or CBS? I'd like to see if they're covering this.
If they do, then people will just go more and more to streaming what they want to watch.
As we watch in any event the demise of television, because people want to watch what they want to watch when they want to watch it.
Now we have another Democrat.
How much time do they have to lay out their case?
You understand their case?
Their entire case is that the president caused the insurrection, incited an insurrection, a gunless insurrection.
So they plan to take over the government and overthrow the government?
Am I supposed to believe that?
What's the story here?
We're still looking for the channels.
Oh, my God.
Okay.
Joe in Philadelphia, hello.
Hey, Dennis.
Hi.
I mean, the left needs to erase history.
I mean, in 1939, September 1st, prior to the invasion of Poland by Germany, I don't know if you noticed or not, but Goebbels released a film of Polish guys going into German villages and stealing away German girls.
He made sure that all the troops saw Poland fell in like three days.
This is exactly what they're doing here.
They're controlling the narrative by putting together their version of the film.
I guarantee if ABC and CBS and NBC are covering this, they're not going to cover any of the Republican comments.
That's very interesting.
I'm very curious.
Well, it is being covered on ABC, NBC, and CBS. Well, that's cable.
I was talking about regular TV. Of course, all the cables are covering it.
Oh, I see.
The Fox Local affiliate.
So ABC, NBC, CBS, and the Fox Locals.
I get it.
Not just Fox News.
Aha!
Aha!
Yeah.
Will they cover the Republican rebuttal?
It's hard to imagine.
It is hard to imagine that they won't, and it's hard to imagine that they will.
They're going to give up the entire day?
To this?
And lose vast numbers of viewers?
I'm not going to be watching it when I get home.
Are you going to be watching it when you get home?
You will?
You're a good man.
That's why he's called the living martyr.
This is a living...
You have now lived through an example of his moral superiority in certain areas and behaviors.
You see, I consider it a moral obligation not to watch it.
But you believe we have a moral obligation to be informed of it so that I can speak intelligently about it, correct?
If you were not the producer of this show, if you had nothing to do with radio, would you watch it?
You still would.
You're fascinated by it.
No, no, seriously.
I wouldn't fascinate it.
So, why would you watch it?
Do you think that there's merit to that?
You want to speak about it?
Give him the microphone.
I'm very curious.
I don't know his reasoning, and I respect him so much.
I'm curious.
I want to know how...
No, he's not on.
Okay.
Is he on now?
How the other side thinks.
I don't know why.
I want to know how the other side thinks.
So I do have a fascination for that, I must admit.
And then I want to be prepared to answer when I'm challenged.
Like by your family?
By my family, by anybody.
So I need to be informed.
I mean, I've always wanted to be informed long before I started working on the radio show.
Right, which obviously we both feel.
But I totally get it.
I mean, if anybody said, look, I can't take this.
It's just absurd.
It's a waste of time.
I would not say, oh, you're making a big mistake.
I hear you.
For your sanity, you probably shouldn't watch.

If you saw John Kerry, if you saw Gina McCarthy yesterday, or last week, they are so cavalier in condescending about these jobs.
Oh, they need to make better choices.
Some jobs need to be sacrificed.
Here's the big issue, Hugh, and it's a big political issue.
Every time in the last decade that the National Democrats have had a choice between the men and women who build things in America, a lot of my constituents, energy, resource development, pipelines, and the choice between them and the far-left radical coastal environmental groups and interests, they always go with the radical groups.
And I quote these union leaders, trade unions in particular, in my letter to President Biden.
But here's the argument I've been making for six years with my colleagues, and I think it's more important than ever.
These are men and women that we should embrace.
I won election in 2014 by a little under three points.
I had no union support.
My re-elect just happened.
I won by 13th support.
And the vast number of the building trades in Alaska endorsed me.
They will get behind Republicans who believe in strong jobs, working families.
And I think that's a huge part of the future of our party.
And the Democrats, just disregard them and talk to them in a condescending way.
We should embrace these great men and women who build things in our country.
and now's the time to do it. - Seemingly misrepresenting where she was and what she was doing during the Capitol tragedy.
Let's go to...
So the case is being made now that...
It's legal to try a non-sitting president because he was impeached while president.
It seems to me that there might be merit to that charge.
That has not been my primary objection.
My primary objection is it's all based on a lie that he incited resurrection.
Resurrection, it's hilarious.
Insurrection.
There was no insurrection and he didn't incite it.
Other than that...
What does it mean to incite?
So when you have all these spectacular riots, far more destructive than what happened January 6th, because Democrats and the New York Times and Washington Post and CNN describe the police as racist.
George Floyd dies under police custody.
Do we know that the policeman killed him?
No.
Do we know that if he killed him, it was because of racism?
No.
But the riots began anyway because that's what the Democrats declared.
This is all an example of systemic racism.
Is that incendiary?
Do the Democrats say anything incendiary?
So do you see why it's...
One's only reaction is contempt.
Anyway, I am delighted that my producer will be watching it.
I will certainly read about it.
I will watch highlights, but I will not be watching it.
I might tune in to see what some of the defense would say.
I know exactly what the opposition is saying.
The best reaction to this would be if almost no Americans watched it.
But it's saturating the networks.
It's amazing.
ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC. Is there any network that is not broadcasting this that has anything to do with live?
That's the question.
Is there a fishing channel?
Are they showing it?
Call me up and tell me if you'll watch it.
I'm very curious.
Of course, you might be watching it and therefore not calling in.
I'm very curious.
Are you more like my producer or like me?
I don't say either of us is right or wrong.
That's why I wanted you to hear from him.
There was no insurrection, my friends.
The whole thing is based on a lie.
But it's such a useful one.
Okay, y'all.

It's probably painful to a lot of you.
I'm not doing the Ultimate Issues Hour because of the impeachment trial that has just begun, and I will be summarizing things that happened or bring you live talk, should I think that it's...
Interesting and important.
It's got to be both.
So they're making the case now that if you commit a high crime or misdemeanor the last two weeks of office, of course you could be impeached.
Otherwise, it's absurd.
You can do anything you want the last two weeks or the last two months of office and get away with it.
That's their argument.
Doesn't strike me as an absurd argument.
What strikes me as absurd and even immoral is the charge, A, that there was an insurrection, and B, that he incited it.
He didn't incite it, and you can't incite what didn't happen.
There was no insurrection.
It's reported as an insurrection without quote marks.

He's very good.
So he says, I read the first half, I'll read the second half out loud.
In other words, I will broadcast it.
So, they have nothing to lose, and it keeps their base, because they're the...
Democrats are most energized by hatred of Donald Trump.
That's what they most hate.
So it's like a free lunch for the Democrats.
That's his argument.
And it divides Republicans.
That's what they think will happen.
Okay.
So then he writes, and I haven't read this yet.
The Democrats may end up paying a higher political price than they anticipate.
The trial won't only delay Mr. Biden's programs, it will tarnish his image as a unifier, eager to work across party lines.
Tarnish?
He has to be kidding.
Tarnish?
That's like totaling your car and saying I tarnished my car.
Okay, I continue.
That identity will be much harder to sustain after Democratic senators vote in lockstep to convict Mr. Trump and push through a mammoth COVID relief bill without any Republican votes.
You know where billions of that are going?
Tens of billions?
To states.
To bail them out.
Democratic states.
To bail them out of their terrible overspending.
It's so corrupt, this $1.9 trillion thing.
The leaving of this debt to their children.
They care about children on the left like the communists cared about workers.
Look at how they won't go to school.
The leftist teachers unions won't open up schools.
Kids have been out of school for a year.
For no good reason!
Teachers are cowards and leftists.
Are there exceptions?
Of course.
There are exceptions.
Like basketball players are tall.
Are there exceptions?
Yes, there are.
But it's fair to generalize.
Unfortunately, certainly in the urban areas of this country, teachers are a combination of cowards and leftists.
I'm sorry, it's a fact.
Not to teach children for a year?
Damn you.
And why you keep your kids in schools, knowing now the contempt that teachers have for your children, why you continue to send them to the schools, there's only one reason.
And I understand it.
Convenience.
That's the only reason people keep their children in school, and it's not a compelling one.
It's powerful, but it shouldn't be decisive.
Get them the hell out of these indoctrination sessions.
With cowards.
Teachers should be running into classrooms, not running out of classrooms.
So they don't care.
Continue.
you This article in the Wall Street Journal.
With all or almost all Democrat...
Democrats supporting Mr. Trump's conviction, the President will be pressed to declare his position.
That is Biden.
Whether Mr. Biden speaks out or not, he signaled his position when he refused to dissuade Mrs. Pelosi from transmitting the House's articles of impeachment to the Senate.
The Speaker wouldn't have done so over the new President's opposition.
As the trial unfolds, Mr. Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, who has begged off from presiding over the trial, will try to keep a low profile while avoiding any criticism of this party-line effort to denounce and convict Mr. Trump.
That tacit approval will be universally applauded by Democrats and their media allies.
Facing backward, avenging grievances from the Trump years, not forward, advancing his own program.
Partisan revenge is hard to reconcile with bipartisan restoration.
Joe Biden and the Democrats surely understand these costs, but will pay them anyway.
Because they expect to impose far higher ones on the Republicans.
That political logic drives the impeachment trial.
It is astonishing to me that there will be Republicans that vote to impeach, but obviously not enough.
It won't happen.
They have now twice raped, and I use that term, I don't know a better term.
I hate using it, but they have raped impeachment of its meaning.
It has become a political tool when you don't like the president.

Let's understand that.

There is so much they can show about Biden and his corruption with China, that that alone, they have far more evidence for his corruption with China than the Democrats had with corruption vis-a-vis Russia.
And they went on with an investigation.
I really don't know how you don't respond to the left.
I don't know.
I wish there were a way.
But I can't think of one offhand.
You've decided to demolish our foundations in the rubble as we try to reconstruct our country.
We will, however, bring whatever we need to bear with regard to you.
David Is that Ciccolini?
Yeah, so he's now speaking.
They're talking about how he incited the insurrection.
There was no insurrection, so you can't incite what didn't happen.
Do you realize in a world of truth how many comments of democratic politicians could be shown on the screen as examples of inciting people?
It was all incitement.
All the demonstrations against systemic racism was incitement by those who say the country is systemically racist.
That's incitement.
This country is not systemically racist.
You say it's a lie that the election was stolen?
It is a lie that the country is systemically racist.
With the difference, however, if let's say they're both lies, the lie of systemic racism has caused far more damage in this country than the lie of stolen election.

So we are still planning our cruise, the Prager Cruise, the annual Prager Cruise.
London to Iceland, going back to Iceland because it was such a fantastic place to visit.
It's up at DennisPrager.com, the banner.
And that's in June, the end of June.
So, the hope is in four months that that will be available.
That's the plan.
I think that a year and a half will have gone by without people able to travel is...
I never would have believed it would happen.
So, if the banner is up at DennisPrager.com, so is the banner with my trip to Israel in October.
Hopefully, once again, take 500 of you.
You don't know how exciting it is to be with that number of fellow listeners.
The banner for staying with Israel is up as well.
So they're just making the case now in the Senate, the House delegation, that it's constitutional to try and impeach a president who is no longer president if he was impeached.
By the House while he was president.
So it's an interesting thing.
Are they tacitly acknowledging that the House could not have impeached him after another president became president?
Is that the tacit acknowledgement?
So why can the Senate vote on it?
If the House can't vote on it after the President is no longer President, I'm just asking.
I don't have an immediate response.
But that's not my argument anyway.
My argument is the whole thing's a fraud.
Like the Russian collusion.
Or he betrayed the country to Ukraine in a phone call.
Can you imagine that?
The impeachment.
They cheapened the word.
It was reserved for such serious matters.
So that's why it's been so rare in history.
Okay, that's where we're at.
We're in good hands.
My producer will be watching the whole thing while I test out audio equipment.
Actually, I'll be hard at work.
But not at that.
I will be interested to know what the opening comments of the Republicans will be.
That's true.
When do you think that will take place?
How long do they allow this to take place?
16 hours each side?
But is it consecutive?
I assume it's not consecutive.
16, then 16. You know, if I were the Republicans, I'll tell you what I would do.
I would have produced a film.
They have?
Of their rioters?
Really?
Oh, awesome!
I'll watch that one.
That's...
You made my day.
That would be...
God, will that humiliate?
They're not humiliatable.
The left is not.
I take that back.
It will be humiliating, but they will not feel humiliated.
Let me put it to you that way.
Okay, let's go to Elizabeth.
Oh, Grand Rapids, one of my favorite places in America.
That and Tampa and a couple of others.
Elizabeth, let me ask you a question.
Do you, and don't answer because you know what I expect, do you like living in Grand Rapids?
Yeah.
That didn't sound very persuasive, I have to say, to be honest.
Grand Rapids is a great town.
It really is.
It really is.
Yes.
And can I tell you, Dennis, that you touched on a lot of subjects, but you had asked, am I going to watch the impeachment?
And I was just going to say thank goodness for HGTV and the Food Channel, because those, you can escape all the hypocrisy and propaganda of ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN. Let me say this.
You have presented a very difficult dilemma before me.
Dennis, you have two choices.
The impeachment trial for six hours or the food channel for six hours.
I have to say I would choose the impeachment.
The thought of watching the Food Channel for six hours.
One of the handful of things I do not find of particular interest is food.
My view of food is, if it fills me up and it's nutritious, I will have it and then forget about it.
As it is, I fast every day a certain number of hours.
I average about 14. I used to average 15. And she put me in a difficult position, I must say.
All right.
My friends, let me be open with you.
I step back and I look at my life and a lot of people tell me that I play some role in their lives.
Stability, hope, rationality, good values, and I hope I do.
I want to play that role while being open, fully open about my deep concerns about the threats to liberty in this magnificent sweet land of liberty.
So I just thought I'd say that because Every so often, it's worth stepping back and seeing what role you have in life.
James in Tujunga, California.
Hello.
Hey, good morning, Dennis.
How are you doing?
Okay, thank you.
I just wanted to talk about, you know, you touched on what role you play, and you played a huge role in my life.
Didn't have the best upbringing, and when I found you on the AM dial, you know, I learn a great deal every day, and I'm able to pass it on to my son.
He's 11, and I just wanted to give you hope about, you know, schools are closed, and it makes me furious.
But when he is in his social studies class, When his teacher brings in her politics to the classroom, he openly challenges her and says, are you even talking about this?
We're 11. Wow.
Give me an example when we come back.
I think that's great.

This is not something where they just The left is just now realizing how much power they really have over us.

And Obama said, dude, dude, dude.
We won the election.
You lost.
So we ran on Obamacare.
And we're going to do Obamacare.
So just sit down and watch how we work.
Same thing here.
Not a single Republican buying in a $1.9 trillion.
$1.9 trillion used to sound like a lot of money.
But you know who said something about it being excessive and likely to ignite inflation like we've never seen before?
Larry Summers.
You remember Larry Summers, the former Treasury Secretary under President, let me think, I can't remember, I remember now, Barack Obama?
Hi, everybody.
We'll be right back.
I'm going to take some calls.
I am looking up now the takeover of the Wisconsin Capitol.
Remember that?
Okay, so that was done by the left.
They actually took it over.
Let's see, when did that happen?
I'm looking at, let's see, flashback.
Protesters, 2011. Protesters, Democratic state senators that prevented a vote on the Republican proposal.
So, let's see.
They took over the state capitol.
Now, the question is, how long were they there?
I know, I believe it was weeks.
Here, the American thinker has, remember when lefties...
Stormed into and occupied a Senate office building in 2018 and the Wisconsin State Capitol in 2011. So, anyway, was that called...
Would Democrats say that what happened in Madison was an insurrection?
I don't remember the word being used.
So here's someone now who believes it was an insurrection.
Good.
Thank you for calling.
That's Tony in Lakewood, Ohio.
Hello.
Hi, Dennis.
I'm looking at the definition of insurrection right now.
It says a violent uprising against an authority or a government.
So anyone who doesn't feel what happened in D.C. was an insurrection is just fooling themselves.
Wow.
Then do you know that we had daily insurrections for the last year?
How come the only one that's been called an insurrection involves the right?
A thousand demonstrations of the left, not one is called an insurrection.
Can you explain that?
Well, they could be, but these insurrectionists who you were chanting, let's hang Mike Pence.
What do you think they were going to do with them if they caught him?
Tickle him under the chin and say, coochie, coochie, coo?
Yes, that's what I think they would have done.
You're a fool.
Bye.
Okay.
Let's see here.
Mark in Chelsea, Michigan.
Hi, thank you for taking my call.
Thank you.
I'm a recent listener, and I appreciate...
You're not clear, my friend.
You're talking into a bottle.
I'm sorry.
Is this any better?
A little, yes.
I'm sorry.
How about that?
A little.
Hello?
Okay, go ahead.
Are we having a problem here?
Alright, let me put you on hold and maybe we'll get back to you.
Oh yes, I had James on about as an 11-year-old.
I'm sorry, I forgot about that.
James, I'm going to get back to you in Tujunga in a moment.
The previous call...
Just as a word of note to you that when you call me a name after I ask you a question that you don't want to answer, it means that for you the dialogue has ended, and this is, in my opinion, and a lifetime of having engaged in this, this is what the left does.
They smear you when they don't have a response.
1,000 or 500 at least.
Violent attacks on government offices this summer.
One is called an insurrection.
The only one of the thousand done by right-wingers.
Answer, you're a fool.
Okay, there you go.
Yes, I do think if they caught Mike Pence, they would have tickled him under the chin.
That is exactly what I believe.
Because they demonstrated no propensity toward violently attacking the politicians that they could have violently attacked.
tack they didn't read the history of the Reichstag fire and Oh, this is the ultimate about the Reichstag fire analogy.
You know, using an event in order to...
A seized power.
So do you know what they keep saying?
Look at what resulted from this insurrection.
Barbed wire around the Capitol.
Who ordered that?
Why the hell is there such a thing?
Why are there so many troops there?
it's theater relieffactor.com how many years have I been telling you about Truth is, there are still millions of people struggling with some kind of pain, maybe from exercise, just getting older, whatever it might be.

Lori Lightfoot, furious, it seems, with the Chicago Teachers Union.
So listen to Trey Gowdy's monologue last night on Fox News, recounting a story and tying it together with his wife, who apparently is an educator, and what's happening in cities like Chicago right now.

That was until the CTU. Blew up that success and created chaos that we are now enduring.
And also remember, the CPS staff and principals have been in our schools throughout this pandemic, feeding our kids, getting them ready for the return of students, and continuing the hard work every single day.
What are the Chicago teachers doing?
They're making dancing videos.
They're by themselves on Zoom dancing and...

This is Albert Moeller for townhall.com.
The American experiment is founded upon a presupposition, a prior commitment to an ordered liberty, an established order.
That means policies.
It means a covenant.
In our case, it means a constitution.
As of right now, the U.S. Constitution is the longest surviving written constitution in human history.
It's a remarkable document.
All of that came to the fore in violent events that interrupted the joint session of Congress to count the votes of the Electoral College.
At the end of the day, our constitutional order proved itself once again resilient.
But that doesn't take away any of the tragedy and the horror of what took place.
It was an enormous stress test on ordered liberty, a stress test brought on by the President of the United States.
We will never give up.
We will never concede.
It doesn't happen.
You don't concede when there's theft involved.
It's an opportunity for the right, the left, conservatives, liberals, all Americans to repudiate political violence and reaffirm, once again, our commitment to ordered liberty.
Thank you.

So your 11-year-old has, thank God, understood your values, and for that matter, my values, America's values, and you say has challenged his teacher?
Yes.
Yes.
Yes, so one day in class, it was right after the election, and he gets online, and his teacher, first thing off the bat, says, how do you feel about the election?
Notice how I learned this from you, how she used the word feel, not what you think or anything like that.
And they go into chat and he goes, we're 11 years old.
Why are we talking about this?
Shouldn't you be talking to high schoolers about this?
And then she did a survey of thumbs up, thumbs down.
Who wants to talk about this?
All of the kids, thumbs down.
We don't care.
Really?
I am stunned.

I thought the vote would go thumbs up.

I would welcome it.

What is your name?
Chase.
Chase?
So, how do you have access to me through PragerU, through my radio show?
How do you hear me or watch me?
My dad normally turns it on when we're in the car.
That's wonderful.
Well, Chase, you do give me hope.
And James, you've got a good boy, and I'm proud of you, Chase.
By the way, I just want you all to know, I am totally okay.
I'm not just okay.
I encourage people of any age.
I mean, not five, but certainly beginning with high school.
Chase is younger than most to be this involved, and to his credit.
But I encourage people to know what the left thinks.
The more they know what it thinks and then offer us a response time, the more we win.
There is nothing moral or intellectual about the left.
Nothing.
It's vapid.
Ruining the United States is not a moral or intellectually sound position.
Saying that you believe in free speech except for hate speech is not moral or sound because all you do is declare what you differ with hate speech or the latest misinformation.
You know how many people are dead in this country because YouTube and Twitter have declared Anything about ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine as misinformation?

My natural disposition is the serenity prayer, which I learned later, but I had already...
It's not to take credit from this brilliant insight, the serenity prayer.
What year was that developed?
One of the great American theologians came up with it.
I'm going to look that up because that's really what is involved here.
Because there are things you just can't control.
And you have to know what they are.
Yeah, it was written by Reinhold Niebuhr.
So what the question is, what year?
