Thank you.
Thank you.
Hi, everybody.
Welcome to the Dennis Prager Show.
And it is already Friday.
You know my theory.
Life goes by by the week.
Not by the day, not by the month, but by the week.
And the weeks go fast, which is odd given how lousy time it is.
I always marvel at that fact.
Well, I was reading a piece.
I forgot what paper.
And in it, Dr. Fauci and these others that they called on, epidemiologists, doctors, they all said that it's irrelevant if you get vaccines, you still will have to not travel, and you will still have to wear a mask.
Because, what is it, one of the doctors that they interviewed said, out of an abundance of concern for safety.
And that is exactly what it is.
But abundance.
As in a surfeit, meaning too much.
We really are governed by fools and These epidemiologists and medical doctors qualify for that title in spades.
So even if you're vaccinated, don't travel.
Let us further ruin the lives of people who work in the airline industry.
Let us further ruin people who work in the tourism industry and the hotel industry, whether for tourists or for business people.
So, here's a question that I think is fair to pose.
If we have to wear masks and we shouldn't travel after we're vaccinated, then when will we be able to not wear masks?
And for this, there is no answer.
The price paid by civilization for...
Universal or near-universal mask wearing is tremendous.
Americans don't talk to each other as much.
People are less likely to bond even temporarily with another human being.
People are judged if they walk outside without a mask, like I do.
I walk inside with a mask to be courteous.
I don't believe in it, but I do it.
Oh, by the way, does that render me a hypocrite?
If you don't believe the mask, you think the mask is largely worthless.
And all you have is abundance of common sense to show it.
They don't let you visit your dying relative.
Your dying relative can't get to see you.
Because even if you wear a mask into the hospital, it's not enough.
So what do masks do?
Oh, well, they increase the odds of blocking the virus.
By the way, do we even know whether the virus is transmittable if you are asymptomatic?
Because they went out of their way, these doctors and Fauci, to say that even the asymptomatic will spread the disease.
These are idiot savants, people who know some science and nothing else.
Nothing.
The question, what is the effect of the policy, is a conservative question.
They don't ask, what is the price?
What is the price of printing trillions of dollars?
Literally.
What is the price?
The price is, it becomes paper money.
Largely worthless.
It's not backed up by anything.
It doesn't mean anything.
1-8 Prager 776-877-243-7776 And in order to keep the country preoccupied with a non-issue, they are impeaching post his presidency.
They are impeaching Donald Trump.
They will remove from office a man who is not in office.
And they take this seriously.
Do you believe AOC's recount of her near-death experience in the Capitol?
There's reason not to, isn't there?
It's not an abundance of caution alone, an abundance of lies.
And as a result, the New York Times is calling for...
An information or truth czar, a minister in the government who's in charge of declaring what is and what is not misinformation.
But as you well know, generally all conservative thought is now considered misinformation.
This is the new way of attacking us.
We don't attack your ideas, God forbid.
We just attack your misinformation.
Now, how do they know that Mike Lindell is misinformed?
And if he is, so what?
So what?
Your folks who for three years used Twitter to say that there was collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, they are allowed to keep their Twitter account?
Why is that?
The thought of the New York Times orbiting what is true?
That is what we call precious.
The New York Times lies for a living, most recently in this gigantic project, the 1619 Project, wherein we fought our wars to maintain slavery.
You know, I'll bet that of the Americans who know of the three-fifths clause in the U.S. Constitution, I bet you who would have ever heard of it, let alone the ones who never heard of it and would be asked as soon as they hear of it, was this anti-black in its legislation intent?
And they will say, of course it was.
A black is three-fifths of a person.
So for the record, and this is the record, in other words, anyone who speaks of the three-fifths amendment, And does not say what I am saying, is guilty of misinformation.
But they won't be taken down.
Will they?
The South wanted slaves to count as one full vote.
That way they had more votes, since essentially they voted for them.
So they had one more vote in order to determine Congress.
The North said, no, no, no, no, no, no.
We don't want your numbers skyrocketing.
Because you have more slaves than last year.
So they said, alright, we'll compromise.
A slave will be worth three-fifths of a vote, which still benefited the South.
But not to know that history?
Well, that's my question again, is what do, in fact, they learn?
1-8 Prager 776-877-243-7776 Who would have predicted that we would be in such a crisis of government and industry?
The companies are worse than the government, in fact, in their shutting down of people with alternate views.
I really need to tell you that my heart goes out to you who want to speak truth to lies, who want to give your opinion, and you fear for your livelihood if you do.
When has this ever happened?
This is true retrogression in American life, fearing for your job, for speaking up.
And usually what we speak up tends to be true.
Well, I have to put on King Solomon's magic ring.
I've told you this, I think.
King Solomon, considered the wisest man ever, was asked, no, not was asked, he asked for a magic ring that would bring him up when he was down and bring him back to earth when he got too high.
And he said, he said nothing.
He just gave that order, and his magicians came back with a ring.
Three Hebrew words, a little more words in English.
This too shall pass.
Gamzu ya'vor.
Sean asked for the Hebrew.
He wanted to see if it comported with what he knew.
We'll be back.
You're listening to The Dennis Prager Show.
This is Albert Moeller for townhall.com.
The American experiment is founded upon a presupposition, a prior commitment to an ordered liberty, an established order.
That means policies.
It means a covenant.
In our case, it means a constitution.
As of right now, the U.S. Constitution is the longest surviving written constitution in human history.
It's a remarkable document.
All of that came to the fore of the violent events that interrupted the joint session of Congress to count the votes of the Electoral College.
At the end of the day, our constitutional order proved itself once again resilient.
But that doesn't take away any of the tragedy and the horror of what took place.
It was an enormous stress test on ordered liberty, a stress test brought on by the President of the United States.
We will never give up.
We will never concede.
It doesn't happen.
You don't concede when there's death involved.
It's an opportunity for the right, the left, conservatives, liberals, all Americans to repudiate political violence and reaffirm, once again, our commitment to ordered liberty.
It's the American way.

Biden has signed an executive order mandating you must wear a mask while on federal property.
Thank you.
Indoors.
With other people.
Is Jen Psaki a super spreader?
Now, this will never come up.
The New York Times, nobody's going to write a scathing article in The Atlantic about Jen Psaki's apparent refusal to wear a mask.
And I've been going through this in my head.
I'm thinking, well, maybe she had COVID. All right, well, that doesn't matter.
They've told us it doesn't matter if you've had COVID. You still have to wear your mask and social distance.
Yeah, but she got the antibodies.
That doesn't matter.
You can get it again.
We don't know how long you can have the antibodies.
You got to wear a mask and socially distance.
You sure have to follow the federal mandate, don't you?
My goodness.
What's the answer to this question?
Somebody's got to know.
Michael, we'll start with you.
How you doing, Michael?
Hi there.
Hey, I just wanted to tell you that that press secretary, she's circling around.
But she hadn't even circled back on this issue.
Nobody's asked her in the first place.
Which is no shock, I guess.
I really want to know.
I want to know.
I gotta know.
I really do.
I mean, honest to goodness, this can't be that tricky.

Do you expect there will be tax hikes which would be ruinous with the economy as it is?
I do.
I guess I'm getting a bit pessimistic about all this because I do think there's a sense within the Democratic Party right now that this is really their only opportunity to go big or go home over the next two years.
I mean, technically, they'll get two or three bites at the reconciliation apple if you look at how this might play out.
But I think they feel like they have one or two big swings here.
And they have to swing for the fences in order to have any hope of winning in the midterm in 2022. And again, I just think it would be a mistake to interpret the results of the November election as giving them a sweeping mandate for progressive reform.
If anything, I think the verdict that the country delivered is that it wants a more...
Moderate path forward.
We made incredible gains in the House.
Republicans did.
There was a lot of split ticket voters who may have voted for Biden but still voted for Biden.
Hello, my friends. my friends.
I want to remind you of a brand new product that is advertising on my show, Nerve Renew, which has been sort of a miracle for me.
I just, I read about it, and I figured, look, they give you a one-year money-back guarantee.
I'll try anything.
It seemed that the doctors had worked on it.
Dr. Shulian that works on these things in Los Angeles.
Had advised me originally of the importance of certain vitamins, and it seemed to have that and more.
Anyway, a year later, or nine months later, I realized, hey, I don't need inserts in my shoes for the first time in over a decade.
So I said to them, would you like to advertise on my show?
And I remind you, it's a one-year money-back guarantee.
Go to NerveRenew.com.
It's just spelled as the words, N-E-R-V-E Renew.com.
It's quite a product.
These things that are out there that are helpful should be tried at least.
All right, my friends, you're listening to The Dennis Prager Show.
And the closest to a police state that this country has ever gotten is moving with alacrity.
I'd like to tell you about what is happening to lawyers around the country who represented Donald Trump.
And then you will realize that there is a group trying to destroy this country.
It's not the right.
The right is trying to defend it.
And I'll read it to you from the Daily Signal.
Lawyers are facing reprisal for representing Trump.
Article in the Daily Signal.
So, you represented Trump?
That question is unfairly haunting a number of the former president's lawyers.
Because of his legal counsel to former President Donald Trump, constitutional scholar and law professor John Eastman, who's been on the show many times, the former dean of the law school, no less the former dean, was pushed out of Chapman University, where he spent his entire very distinguished academic career.
The same happened to Cleta Mitchell, a well-known and highly respected Washington, D.C. lawyer.
who had practiced with Foley and Lardner for decades.
Now Michigan lawyers Greg Roll, Scott Hagerstrom, and Stephanie Gentilla, who represented the Trump campaign in election litigation in the state, are being unfairly and unjustly targeted for disbarment, disbarment, by Governor Gretchen Whitmer and State Attorney General Dana Nessel.
When I think of Gretchen Whitmer and some others, I think of the moronic idea, oh, if the world were run by women.
If the world were run by women, it would not be any better than it is.
And given the over-representation of women among elementary school teachers and what they're doing now, going on strike rather than be in a classroom with an unvaccinated or unmasked child, It may even be worse if women ran civilization.
These lawyers find themselves in the all-too-familiar position today of being punished for carrying out their professional duties to the best of their abilities, as required by the codes of conduct that govern all attorneys by representing a client who is politically unpopular with those in power.
This is un-American and something we don't say lightly.
This country is fundamentally based on the rule of law, which depends on protecting the ability and independence of lawyers to take unpopular clients in unpopular cases.
This is one of those lessons that people on both sides of the political aisle selectively defend and selectively forget.
Well, there you go.
Being disbarred because they challenged the election laws the way they were implemented in any given state.
Let's get rid of them as lawyers.
Let's get rid of them as businessmen.
That's right.
Wow.
1-8 Prager 776.
Interesting questions like here.
Freehold, New Jersey.
And Don, hello.
Thank you.
Hey, Dennis.
Hey.
Hey there.
I just wanted to inform people, and I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but Dr. Fauci holds something like 13 patents as the director of the NIH, as well as the fact that he's listed as the inventor.
Have you actually seen that, or have you read about it?
No, it's online, actually.
It's public information.
Yeah, I've heard.
I didn't know the numbers.
That's why I asked you.
Dr. Fauci is somewhat of a strange dude.
I don't know why he could be so openly advocative of the vaccines.
And so openly dismissive of therapeutics, given that the vaccines are going to make somebody billions of dollars, that's what makes me think, yes, he has the back of the pharmaceutical industry, not of the average citizen.
I think that is correct, actually.
Roman in Orlando, Florida.
Hello.
Hello, Dennis.
Thank you for taking my call.
Yes, sir.
I like what you said about how you can't travel even if you have the vaccine.
You have to wear your mask outside, inside, probably even while you sleep, according to the Communist Socialist Party that's in power now.
And I also want to say, Dennis, that...
The oligarchs don't have enough.
Now they want to take whatever little we have left from business people.
The oligarchs did not say anything when America was burning.
That's correct, my friend.
The collusion of the Democratic Party and big business is another first in history.
The moral degradation of big business has reached a nadir.
That's right.
Listen, a lot of people are aware of the frightening possibility that America will no longer be America.
The left is destroying the society that made them possible.
It is becoming a land that eats its own inhabitants, to use a biblical phrase.
I worry for the country.
I'm not shocked that this is here, because wherever the left takes over, this is what follows.
And you have to fight.
The first thing you need to do is get your kids or grandkids out of regular schools.
We'll be back.
We'll be back.
The Biden administration announced in their first week that the U.S. is rejoining the World Health Organization.
But the WHO is a flawed group, one that has performed poorly while the world has struggled with COVID-19.
Early on, the group was far too deferential to China, even parroting Beijing's early claim that the virus could not be transmitted between humans.
Since then, an independent panel concluded that the WHO dithered in its response, waiting too long to declare an international emergency.
All the while, the WHO has continued to block Taiwan's participation because of political objections from the Chinese government, despite the fact that the world has much to learn from Taiwan's exceptional response to the virus.
Before rejoining the WHO, we should have demanded some accountability and reform from the group for the $400 million in taxpayer dollars we send to it each year.
It looks like we'll keep on writing blank checks to the WHO, which they are more than happy to keep cashing.

In terms of PR, fail.
Just a totally pathetic two weeks.
The fact that Biden's big vaccine plan literally didn't exist.
There's no COVID plan.
He already said that there's nothing they can do.
So disaster there.
Disaster on the Keystone Pipeline.
His climate czar is John Kerry, who is literally like a cartoon character of a bad politician.

What we are heading towards will be one of the most violent decades in American history.
Why?
Massive wealth and income inequality is one reason because of the lockdowns.
And because of leaders that do not care about the well-being of their subjects.
A war on police officers and a war on law enforcement and quite honestly a war on the law in general.
And also an unmanaged transition from the Corporate boardroom industrial economy to the digital economy.
when you have this much economic dislocation, when you have this much disruption, do not be surprised when murder rates and homicide rates skyrocket.
New York City is becoming a place Hello,
my friends. my friends.
I just was listening to President Joe Biden saying how across the board, economists are in agreement that we have to pass this stimulus bill.
What is it, almost $2 trillion more?
Otherwise, think of all the hunger and pain in people's lives and unemployment, all of which was induced by...
Democrats much more than Republicans in lockdowns.
People will be scarred, which is true.
People are being scarred.
Why didn't he speak against the lockdown in California, which prevented restaurants from functioning?
I don't know how many restaurants in this country have closed their doors.
The left always does this.
Always.
This is part of their textbook policy.
They make rules that ruin things, and then they pass laws to deal with the ruination that they brought about.
It is classic.
You know why the Republicans oppose this 1.8 trillion?
The primary reason is it's going to state governments.
They're bailing out the Democrats who ran...
Profoundly irresponsible operations in spending money that they didn't have.
So there's no consequence.
That's the key.
There's no consequence to democratic malfeasance.
There you go.
We'll bail you out.
We'll print more monopoly money.
Well, it's really something.
The whole thing is really something.
The time that we are in now.
Right.
Let's go to Cynthia in Palos Park, Illinois.
Hello.
Hi, Dennis.
How are you this morning?
I'm well, thank you.
I'm calling because I wanted to tell you that my friend and I, my friend Karen, my best friend, and I are planning on going with you on the Stand with Israel tour.
And my reason for going is I'm feeling very, very unsettled in my life right now with what's going on in my beloved country.
And I want to go to Israel to find some peace and some wisdom.
And I'm wondering how many others that listen to your show are feeling the way I'm feeling, this loss of optimism with what's going on right now.
It's just kind of a feeling of dread that I'm sensing.
Well, I feel it too.
I don't patronize my listeners, and as much as I put emphasis on happiness, how could I be happy about the left's destruction of the Tower of Liberty on Earth?
The last best hope of Earth, as President Lincoln said.
Well, I'll tell you this, you're making a wise decision coming to Israel.
For many reasons.
One is Israel, another one is me, and the biggest one is who you will meet.
Yes, yes.
That's what you need.
You know, it's not even not being happy.
It's just I'm looking around and I'm thinking, what is happening to our very foundational values?
You know, what is going to happen to us as the beacon of, you know, hope and democracy around the world?
Yes, and what happens when that democracy...
It means that the cruel are in ascendant.
We go down, the bad go up.
Get it?
That's the way the world has been since World War II, or before World War II. I really do wonder if China attacked Taiwan if Joe Biden would go and send troops in defense.
Because that would be the ultimate statement that we don't back sovereignty of countries.
You are not sovereign.
If a big country wants to eat up a little country, we'll watch.
If indeed we would.
I'm not saying we would.
But that's what the message would be if it should happen.
The people who say the same thing about Israel, if Israel were attacked, Then should America come to its aid?
No, no, no, you know.
It's not in our national interest to aid Israel.
Okay, is it in our national interest to aid anybody who was attacked, like Taiwan?
These are very fair questions.
Anyway, feeling unsettled at this time?
Gee, why would you feel that?
These district attorneys who are letting out murderers, that is one of the obvious proofs that the left wishes to take down this country.

That America's response would not be different if President Barack Obama were impeached based upon these bogus grounds and then faced a trial after he left office and the judge presiding over the trial dislikes him to the point where he already voted to convict and expel him from office on account when not a single Republican joined.

But if you have the judges, you have the prosecutors, and you have the media on your side, in fact, every institution that exists, you can do that.
I'm amazed that these words are coming out of my mouth, to be perfectly honest.
All right, let's see here.
L.A., Brent in L.A., hello.
Bless you, Dennis.
I wanted to say, when you're talking about crushing restaurants, we have to realize we're not crushing restaurants.
We're crushing our civilization and our society, our fun and our friendships and our families and our conversation and our commerce.
Yes, hold on.
Did I let you go?
I did.
I'm sorry.
Anyway, yeah, I'm sorry about that.
That's correct.
I have a special warm spot for the people who run restaurants.
I do for many, many reasons.
One of them is selfish, that I have written my books in restaurants, that I have spent so much time in them alone or with family and friends.
But the biggest reason is not that one.
I would be totally candid if that were the biggest reason.
The biggest reason is, overwhelmingly, these people are middle-class people who have put their life's work and life's money on the line in the belief that if I serve nicely enough, if I have nice enough servers, if I have good enough food, I can make a middle-class income.
And now they've been shut down for no good reason.
I was reading a piece last night of Fauci and others saying restaurants should not be attended.
Even if they have a HEPA filter.
Listen to this.
Even if they have a HEPA filter, even if you got the vaccination or had the flu, or they had COVID, they still don't want you in a restaurant.
So the only answer is they want you in a restaurant at some time when the virus has simply worked its way through the population and ended on its own.
That is the great plan of your local epidemiologist.
Epidemiologist.
Yes, that's right.
This is...
Oh, and of course, don't fly.
Even Fauci said that.
Don't fly.
Even if you've gotten the vaccine, don't fly.
Well, all right, let's see here.
Okay, actually, John in Chicago, I've taken you a little too often.
I love taking you because you differ with me, but I have rules about how often I could take a single caller.
He must have a great machine that dials in.
You remember those automatic dialers that would just dial on your behalf constantly if you got a busy signal?
He must have one of those.
Because it's not that easy to get in that often.
That's right.
All right, Jim in Minneapolis.
Hello.
Dennis, love your show.
Thank you for what you do for us.
You're welcome.
I know you're a fighter.
I'd like to think I'm a fighter, too.
Why should we support the companies that want to destroy our conservative way of life, like the major media?
I've got an idea.
What do you think?
The CAL, named in memory of the late great state of California, the Conservative Awareness List.
Not a boycott list.
It's an awareness list.
Makes half the nation, us conservatives, aware of whose reports are enemies.
Imagine if their revenues crashed 50%.
That's how we can fight them, or that's how we can support the fighters.
What do you think?
I'm trying to understand it.
This would be a list.
Cal is short for California, so I got the pun, as it were.
But it is a list of companies that what?
That support CNN, ABC, NBC. All right, so this is what they do with companies that support Fox.
Correct, Dennis.
Let's fight back.
What else can we do?
Yes, well, I agree.
We have to fight back.
I've always been opposed to boycotts.
I said with pride for years, I would eat, or on occasion, do eat Ben and Jerry's ice cream, even though Ben and Jerry are leftists, particularly foolish people.
But they made a great ice cream in America.
You eat the product, not the producer.
But things have changed.
They've they started as it were Turning now on the Charlie Kirk show 2020 was the largest percentage increase in homicides in American history and
Murder was up nearly 37% in a sample of 57 large and medium-sized cities.
Based on preliminary estimates, at least 2,000 more Americans, most of them black, were killed in 2020 than in 2019. You would think that would be a heavy focus or primary focus for the Ruling class media.
The local murder increases in 2020 were as following.
95% in Milwaukee.
78% in Louisville.
74% in Seattle.
72% in Minneapolis.
62% in New Orleans.
And 58% in Atlanta.
A lot of people blame it just purely on the pandemic stress.
Do you not remember?
The defund the police narrative that swept our country for months, and Minneapolis basically did defund their police.
One of the reasons why some of the police officers in Washington, D.C. at the Capitol tragedy did not have lethal weapons is because some of them were disarmed by Muriel Bowser, the mayor of Washington, D.C. You
know what I can't get out of my head?
Why doesn't this woman wear a mask?
They're all so mask friendly in the White House now.
Biden is often behind the Resolute desk with his mask on in the Oval Office.
You hardly see Biden without a mask, ever.
Somebody tweeted out last night, or yesterday, Jen Psaki should be wearing a mask when she does her press conferences, perhaps double masks if she wants to set a good example.
If every American needs to wear a mask while working indoors, she does too.
Also, isn't she on federal property?
Americans demand consistency.
Now, do the rules not apply to the White House press secretary?
How does that work?
She's standing at a podium with numerous particles coming out of her mouth as she's answering questions that she apparently has been given in advance from the White House press corps.
I have my producer who's pretty nifty at tracking things.
If we get to grab the Virginia and Maryland, can we file taxes from each state?
With large taxes in both?
Yes.
I'll even file for you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I'll end the hour.
And let me just apologize to those of you who's calling.
I won't be able to take.
There's always the third hour.
The day has finally come.
This is CNN Report.
You've received the second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Does that mean you're free to go about life as you did before the pandemic once immunity kicks in?
Sorry, there is no immunity.
There are still safety precautions you need to follow in order to keep you, your loved ones, and everyone else safe, protected from the deadly coronavirus.
Now, here are some answers to questions.
Can I please stop wearing a face mask?
Let's face it, the answer is no.
It's not 100% protection.
Everyone is different in terms of their immune responses as irrelevant to the issue of a mask.
So that's the latest on that.
Masks will still be mandatory even after you have a vaccination.
Remember typhoid Mary Mallon?
She was an Irish immigrant who worked as a cook for New York families and refused to believe she was an asymptomatic conduit for typhoid fever because she remained healthy.
Mallon contaminated at least 122 people in the 1880s.
There you go.
That's the proof.
Mallon gave 188 people In 122 days, she gave them typhoid fever.
How many people does it say, by the way?
I'm sorry.
Contaminated at least 122 people, right.
Okay.
Next, will immunity last?
Researchers don't know yet just how long the immunity given by the current vaccines will last.
That's not quite a vaccine.
In any event, you'll have to wear a mask.
When can I hang out with friends and family?
You can't change any rule.
This is a CNN article.
You can't change any of the rules once you've been vaccinated.
So you might ask, what's the point of getting vaccinated?
Well, for those who believe that it will protect them...
Clearly, the makers of the vaccine don't believe that or they would allow you to live a normal life.

It is very disappointing.
I think it is beneath the office that Jen Psaki holds to be acting as she has, and I think it's portraying weakness abroad, and that's the last thing we want to have, is weakness as the United States of America portrayed to our adversaries and, frankly, to our allies.

Transcription by CastingWords I ask you, those of you who engage in that stupid thought experiment after the Capitol riot.
Well, suppose they had been black.
I got a phone call from my daughter and she's my granddaughter.
She said, Pop!
Suppose they'd be mostly black.
And Biden says, nobody could tell me that the response would not have been different.
Okay, nobody can tell me that America's response would not be different if President Barack Obama were impeached based upon these bogus grounds and then faced a trial after he left office and the judge presiding over the trial dislikes him.
To the point where he already voted to convict and expel him from office on account when not a single Republican joined.
America would be on fire and you know it.
How many times did somebody get accused of being racist simply because they opposed a policy by Obama?
New lawyer.
His name is Dave Schoen.
Says, look, here's what we're going to say.
We're going to say this whole thing is unconstitutional, and it is.
There shouldn't be a trial, and there shouldn't.
We don't have jurisdiction.
Court doesn't have jurisdiction, and they don't.
But he also made the point that I made from the very beginning, and that is Joe Biden really wanted to heal, really wanted to reach out, pick up the phone, call Schumer and say, call off the dog, because this is stupid.

You have a constitutional issue.
If you do not have a healthy president in our country, it seems to me that there is a sham being...
Put over on the American people.
That this is something that we haven't talked about because we don't talk about these things.
The mainstream media doesn't ever want to accuse Joe Biden of being anything less than a great athlete or something.
But the fact is that what we have seen makes me think it's a fact.
That he is not actually governing.
That he has an earpiece.
People are telling him what to do.
People are putting things in front of him to sign.
Here's what I suspect is going to happen at some point.
I really think that Kamala Harris, she is the chosen one of the power brokers of the DNC and particularly the media establishment.
So she did terribly, by the way, with Democratic voters, if you remember.
She didn't even make it in the Democratic primary to the first vote.
She didn't get to the Iowa caucuses.
She didn't get to the New Hampshire primary.
She was that unpopular, had no fundraising, no support.
However, she was able to maneuver herself into being the Vice President of the United States with, to your point, an extremely apparently vulnerable and literally medically incapable President of the United States, which means that she could easily become the President at some point.
So my guess is if this move is going to happen at some point, it will come from a highly ambitious Vice President Harris.

Let me ask you just to speculate.
What do you suppose the Democrats are even hoping to do by impeaching Trump after?
Many of us really don't understand why they would do something this crazy.
The reason they have to try so hard to sully Trump even though he's no longer in the Oval Office is because they recognize the enduring Power and magnetism, both of Trump as an individual, but even more importantly, of the America First movement.
That something was aroused in this country.
And even though Trump didn't prevail on November 3rd, guess what?
Lots of House members did.
State houses all over the country did.
So I think they sense and realize, the Democrats, That there is a growing movement and they are trying to thwart it by doing the best they can to vilify Donald Trump.
And they think that if they can sort of beat him and bury him even out of office.
Now, again, I believe this is going to backfire on them, but I think this is their strategy that they believe that they can effectively defuse our movement.
And that's part of why he has to fight as well.
It kind of reminds me of Abbott and Costello meets Dracula or something like that.
They're trying to put a stake through his heart because they don't believe that if he's dead, he's really dead.
We've got to put a stake through his heart.
We've got to do anything we can do.
And there's something comedic about it, in a way, because Trump is like that.
Like you just said, Yes, it is.
Yes, it is.
It's the happiness hour on the Dennis Prager Show every Friday.
Hour two.
Hour two.
That's the hour for the happiness hour.
These are the original lyrics.
Hour.
Yeah, the happy make the world better and the unhappy make it worse.
Pretty true, isn't it?
There we go.
Sing along.
It's the happy, happy, happy, happy hour.
Folks, it is difficult to be happy at this time.
I fully acknowledge it.
I am real.
I am a human like you.
And I love this country and it's being destroyed.
I can't believe I'm saying it and I mean it literally.
So, what do I do?
Well, this is a repeated theme on the Happiness Hour, so I want you to start calling in now.
Maybe I can help you.
Get through this emotionally, or at least in terms of behavior.
And maybe I can't, and maybe you will be able to share what you have done, if it's been successful.
1-8 Prager 776. I feel, I tell you, I think about the people in apartments, especially a New York-like apartment.
Now, New York has voted Democrat, and I do believe that if you vote a certain way and the people who do that, you are warned about them, as people have warned about the left being in power for decades, if not a century, or more.
But nevertheless, I do feel for people who have been cooped up in an apartment.
Here's an interesting question that you may have a thought on.
What divides the mask wearer, the 24-7 one?
I mean, nobody wears it to sleep, so it's not 24-7.
It's, how about, 15-7.
The people I see outdoors, the people I see outdoors wearing masks, even walking alone, what animates them?
So I think I know the answer, but since I so don't relate to it, Fully understand it.
Are any of you that frightened that you want to wear a mask?
I don't mean in general, but now.
You want to wear a mask because it's the safe thing to do even if you're walking alone.
Well, the thing on the driving in the car, I believe, I don't believe anybody is driving in the car alone.
Let's put it that way.
Wearing a mask.
Because they think it will keep them safe.
You don't think so either, right?
Or you do think so?
You don't know why.
Alright, that's a good question.
If you're one of them, tell us why.
In fact, if you're one of them, we'll send you an award.
You deserve some sort of prize for listening to this show and doing something so foolish.
And you know, I won't insult you.
I insult in general, but not to a person, because you're created in God's image, and I'm very keenly aware of that fact.
So these are the questions about how people are handling this.
For myself, it's been a mixed bag, because I have very, very good...
As Dr. Marmer, the psychiatrist I have on the Happiness Hour said, you have, he said to me, great shock absorbers.
And that's correct.
But I also have an immersion in reality because it's my temperament is not to tune out and because I have to do a radio show.
I need to know what's going on.
So I am more aware than most about what is happening to this country.
The idea that there is an enemy within, and the reference is entirely to Trump supporters.
74 million terrorists within.
That's essentially the message that is going out at this time in this country.
And so you feel vulnerable at your place of work.
I don't blame you.
So, these are toughies.
Look, the name of my book on happiness is Happiness is a Serious Problem.
So, is that not true?
Is happiness not a serious problem?
Of course it is.
There's one other aspect that I'd like to isolate for your consideration.
Most pain, in our society at least, has been caused by the micro, not the macro.
As in macroaggression, right macro, the big picture.
And I'm a fan of the macro, and I completely get disoriented when they give me their scenarios.
But this is a new phenomenon.
That society is governed by models.
And that is not done very well for us.
If you ask, what would I have done better?
I would have asked those likely to get COVID because of age or infirmity to stay locked down.
The rest of the society not to.
To develop a herd immunity as a result.
And I would know that there were limitations to my power.
So that means you let people do what they want.
But the Democrats have such power in the political sphere that they won't allow you to do what you want.
It's a big problem at this time, but I was saying the name of my book is Happiness is a Serious Problem.
I have known all along that we were so lucky.
Do you know, I don't think I've shared this.
I've shared about Superman, but I haven't shared this.
I look back at America when I was younger.
And one of the distinguishing features of this country was it left you alone.
And that is so important, a value.
If you don't want the government involved in your life, you're in the majority of Americans, and yet it intrudes more and more.
I believe that the greatest source of unhappiness is events we cannot control.
That's a big issue.
You can be fully in charge of your own life, which is a very remarkable moral achievement, but you are not fully in control of macro life.
So I get the challenges, believe me.
1-8 Prager, 776-877-243-7776.
All right.
Let's go to Patsy, my apologies, in Glendale, Arizona.
Hello from Glendale to Glendale.
Hello, Dennis.
I've been trying for years to talk to you, and I'm so excited.
I've read your book.
I loved your book, especially when you said, and I read it a long time ago, so obviously I'm not quoting you specifically, but when you said, life isn't fair.
And it really isn't fair.
But this political stuff's driving me crazy because it's playing with my faith.
And how can God allow this evil to happen?
Abortion, not supporting Israel, obviously, with the new administration.
Man being man, woman being woman, you know, all of this stuff.
And I start rationalizing and saying, well...
Maybe we're in the end times.
Maybe he's going to come and make everything right.
And then I start thinking, oh, is my faith failing?
Because I know we're supposed to pray for our leaders, which I even do for Biden.
I pray more for our nation, but I do pray for him.
What can I do to...
So I feel like I really have faith, and I'm not just rationalizing that, you know, God chose him as a leader for a reason, to show, to wake people up possibly.
I don't know.
I'm struggling, Dennis.
Right.
No, no, God bless you.
Look, first of all, remember this.
To struggle is part of faith.
The name Israel, God's chosen people, when he renamed Jacob Israel, Explain it.
Read it.
Read it in the Bible.
Because he struggles with God.
That's what Israel means.
struggle with God.
Thank you.
Thank you.
The Biden administration announced in their first week that the U.S. is rejoining the World Health Organization.
But the WHO is a flawed group.
One that has performed poorly while the world has struggled with COVID-19.

What we are heading towards will be one of the most violent decades in American history.
Why?
Massive wealth and income inequality is one reason, because of the lockdowns.
New York City is becoming a place that is completely unrecognizable.
They do not feel comfortable going to downtown Chicago Hi everyone, the Hoppiness Hour.
Despite all, it's more needed than ever.
It's a bad thing when the pain is macro, because you can do something about it if it's in your own life, or you hopefully can.
But you can't do much when it's from outside forces.
And you feel sort of like a helpless little boat in a storm.
I get it.
That's why we have to fight.
You have to fight for moral reasons and love of America reasons, and you also have to fight for selfish reasons.
Because that will bring you some joy.
For good reason.
Alright, y'all.
Dallas, Texas.
John, hello.
Hi, Dennis.
Hi.
Good morning to you.
Thank you.
12, 11. Yeah, it's still morning.
Right.
Hey, so I just wanted to say, and I know you're saying this too, that happiness varies by state and by governance.
My daughter graduated from Cal Baptist in Riverside last year, and we went and watched her volleyball team come to Texas to play outside of Fort Worth.
Last Monday, my wife and I did, and the gym was overflowing.
All the parents from all over the country were there.
In this town west of Fort Worth, and we couldn't believe it.
A barbecue beforehand showed up about game time, and it was full, packed, first level, second level.
And we came to find out, talking from parents from Minnesota that we knew from the team last year, that California shut down all spectator sports, apparently.
They can't watch their daughters play in California or in Oregon or in Washington State up and down the Pacific Coast.
So they all came to Texas.
To enjoy what we were all enjoying last year.
It's a fall sport, typically, but, you know, in the fall of 19. So I thought that was an odd thing.
And so my daughter, who's in nursing school at Vanderbilt, said, well, I guess Texas is making California look pretty bad.
And I said, remember, with your liberal ideology, who is sitting in the governor's mansion in Texas versus the Napoleonic Complex.
That's sitting in the governor's mansion in California.
That's what's driving all this.
I hope you have an effect.
Look, it's another big problem.
I address it regularly.
Of all the parents with good, solid, bedrock values whose kids have rejected them and in some cases not just reject their values, reject the parent.
I speak to such people almost on a daily basis just who happened to enter my life.
I was with a man yesterday, getting my car, my Carly's was up a couple of weeks ago, and I didn't have time because of my third volume of my Bible commentary.
So he was telling me that he has an 18-year-old daughter, and she announced to him, well, I'm 18, now I'm an adult, and said, You know, I don't have to listen to you anymore.
I mean, she actually said that.
I mean, what does it mean?
Did she have to listen to him at 17?
Well, there's an answer to, I'm 18 or I'm 21, I'm an adult now.
The answer is, you're not an adult until you act like one.
Adulthood is not a matter of age.
Adulthood is a matter of behavior.
Some kids are 15 and act like adults.
Yes, okay.
Richard San Antonio, hello.
Hey, Dennis.
How are you today?
Okay, thank you.
I can call you my rabbi.
I was a secular Jew.
About a year and a half ago, I discovered your program, and then I discovered Dr. Korka, and I joined the walkway movement.
Wow.
That's very powerful.
My wife and I got involved in doing some grassroots stuff here to help the election, but I work at a very liberal university in San Antonio.
That's right.
Just about.
That's right.
Because whatever I say can and probably will be construed.
Like, I'm sitting outside right now.
There's not a person I can see within 100 feet of me, but I still have to wear a mask.
It's not because of Texas, it's because of the school.
That's amazing.
And the city who's run by Democrats.
That's correct.
You know, the vision of his having to sit outside...
And where there's nobody who can identify him speaking on the phone, how would they find out?
But now I guess you can.
These are the scenes of the Soviet Union.
Now you have an idea.
Just place it exponentially greater.
If you can't speak up in America, how could you have spoken up in Nazi Germany, fascist Italy, or communist Russia?
So, as I wrote in my column, the good German, just a couple of weeks ago, I have stopped judging them.
You might as well say the good person, not the good German.
When people are afraid, they don't stick their neck out.
And I don't blame them.
But we're still not threatened with Gestapo or the KGB. We are threatened with whatever we're threatened by, which is bad enough.
But we're not threatened with death or incarceration.
Yet, there are some people who have.
But that's a subject for other hours.
Let's go to more of your calls here.

Thank you.
So, yeah.
Well, I do wear my mask very often in my car, and I'm always in my car, and I'm always alone in my car.
I tend to be in my car like it's my second home.
And I do errands.
I work out part-time.
I work, like, in the field doing market research.
So I just, I tend to sometimes just absolutely forget.
I just got gassed and I wore my mask from my apartment to the gas station.
And people may look and say, why is she wearing her mask?
But it's only to remind me that when I get out of my car so abruptly that I'll have it on when I put gas in my car.
Things like that.
Does it bother you?
No, because I have a really comfortable one.
Yeah, but you're still breathing in your own exhale.
But so it doesn't bother you much.
Listen, I'm glad you called because I really did wonder.
So she's not wearing it to protect herself from the car.
Right, just a reminder.
But if it was around her neck, I think it would remind her too.
But maybe I'm wrong.
Anyway, you get reminded if you walk into a place.
So it's only outdoors.
Outdoors is a big issue to me in a car.

$15 minimum wage is not in there.
We're going to use reconciliation, but if it doesn't have bipartisan support, he's not voting for it.
What do you make of that?
Well, I think Senator Manchin is sincere.
I had an opportunity to have dinner with him last night, and he's a very honest guy, and he is genuine when he talks about his dedication to bipartisanship.
That is a core issue for him, and he very much wants to restore the bipartisan nature of Congress in general, and the Senate in particular.
And so I'm inclined to take him at his word.
I think he feels very strongly about this, and feels very strongly that the approach That the Biden administration is taking so early on here is the wrong approach.
I mean, pushing through a nearly $2 trillion relief package with no Republican input, it seems like they completely dismissed the group of 10 Republican senators that engaged in good faith earlier this week, I think is the wrong approach, particularly since we don't yet know if the nearly the trillion dollars we spent recently has been fully spent.
We don't have a sense of what worked, what didn't work.
I am on board with the idea of providing more resources for vaccine production and distribution.
I think that is the best thing we can do, not only to save lives, but to get us out of this economic mess.
But the fact is we have not spent the full trillion dollars that we passed about a month ago.
And I think it would be reckless for us to ram through this purely partisan approach.
That's going to have a lot of things that are completely unconnected to coronavirus relief in it.

I need to do an Ultimate Issues Hour on a subject that was raised by a caller earlier.
It's not a happiness hour subject, so I'm not going to dwell on it.
And that is when she said...
And many people, particularly Christians, do use this terminology.
What do I do about the fact that I believe that God appointed this person to be president?
So I don't have that belief, and I come from a deeply biblical-rooted view.
And I'm going to have some Christians on when I talk about it, because I don't...
I don't rationally understand how that works.
This is said, obviously, out of love, because America's Christians have done such a magnificent job in making this society.
I have great gratitude to them.
I'm a Jew, and I say them, in case you didn't know.
Most people know, but I'd like to make it clear.
I don't...
Quite follow that even though God is sovereign, that he has made every leader in the world.
And does leader mean president and vice president?
Does it include a cabinet?
Does it include senate?
And what role do we play in the making of a president or a senator?
Now, in my synagogue, We do make a prayer for the President every week, and if the President is Al Gore, we think what we think, but we still have to make that prayer because it's not contingent upon their party or even their philosophy or even their decency.
It just is.
If God leads our President, Then that's a good thing.
So why wouldn't I pray for it?
On the other hand, believing God put Joe Biden in office is a big leap for me.
Alright, let's go to more of your calls here.
Some of them were not on the topic here, so Mona, I'll ask you to call next hour, because I really want to take that call, Mona, about her doctor and hydroxychloroquine.
That's right.
All right, what you're doing here, Joe in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
Hello.
Hi, Dennis.
How are you?
Okay, thank you.
I'm a big fan of your Bible commentaries.
I'm halfway through the second one.
We do like them.
Thank you.
What I wanted to comment on is my observation of peer pressure.
Peer pressure to me is essentially the devil incarnate.
I mean, what other force would make you abandon all of your principles and what you would do?
In the absence of a crowd where you would abandon anything and follow the crowd when you're around other people.
It just flummoxed me.
Well, you know, I'm going to say something that will surprise many of you and even perhaps some of you have more reason to dismiss me.
I have no rational argument to explain a lot of what's going on.
I just don't.
Why America would produce so many people who wish to destroy what made it so good for them is such a puzzle to me.
It so doesn't relate to human nature as I understand it, and I know human nature is not basically good.
That for the first time in my life, I have, if not quite adopted, I have come to respect the notion of the diabolical.
That it is just hard to explain in any other way.
How do you grow up in this country, free, unlike anywhere in the world, and then try to destroy it?
That is diabolical.

I ask you, those of you who engage in that stupid thought experiment after the Capitol riot.
Well, suppose they had been black.
I got a phone call from my daughter, and she's my granddaughter.
She said, Pop!
Suppose they had been mostly black.
And Biden says, nobody could tell me that the response would not have been different.
Okay, nobody can tell me.
That America's response would not be different if President Barack Obama were impeached based upon these bogus grounds and then faced a trial after he left office and the judge presiding over the trial dislikes him to the point where he already voted to convict and expel him from office on account when not a single Republican joined.
America would be on fire, and you know it.
How many times did somebody get accused of being racist simply because they opposed a policy by Obama?
Now, the new lawyer, his name is Dave Schoen, says, look, here's what we're going to say.
We're going to say this whole thing is unconstitutional, and it is.
There shouldn't be a trial.
And there shouldn't.
We don't have jurisdiction.
Court doesn't have jurisdiction, and they don't.
But he also made the point that I made from the very beginning, and that is, if Joe Biden really wanted to heal, really wanted to reach out, pick up the phone, call Schumer and say, call off the dog, because this is stupid.

Country, but I want to ask you going back to Biden.
You know, there was an episode in the first or second season of The Crown where Churchill is quite sick.
And his number two, I guess Anthony Eden, the foreign secretary, is also quite sick.
You have a constitutional issue.
If you do not have a healthy...
It seems to me that there is a sham being put over on the American people, that this is something that we haven't talked about because we don't talk about these things.
The mainstream media doesn't ever want to accuse Joe Biden of being anything less than, you know, a great athlete or something.

David, New York City, hello.
Dennis, I have to tell you quickly that I was one of your students at Brooklyn College.
Really?
And you stayed with me my entire life.
I'm 65 now.
Wait a minute, that really, I got the chills.
Which course did I, which was it, the Russian?
Oh, I was, my parents were Holocaust survivors, so nothing about Judaism was taught in our house.
So it was the beginning class of Judaism.
I think it was a 101 or something.
Yeah, yeah, right.
I was in the Department of Judaic Studies there, right?
Yes, you were.
Yes, you were.
And the woman that recommended me to take your course was Yafa Eliach.
Wow.
And, Dennis, I can't thank you enough.
That's not why I'm calling, but I... No, no, I just don't hear from students of mine from college.
Do me a favor and send me an email, okay?
Of course, of course.
Thank you.
I'd be happy to.
Okay.
I called because the thing that that woman was talking about, of her daughter coming home and saying, well, she's an adult now.
Our son came home at 19 and said the same thing.
So I said to him, okay, fine, you're an adult, you can pay for college.
He got really angry, stormed out of the house, went to live with his grandparents, and living with Holocaust survivors changed his entire attitude toward life and to government.
Wow.
And he came back a year later and apologized.
So we sent him to a community college.
And there he met people that were certainly not people you would meet at Penn.
That's where we originally sent him.
They were like he told us.
They were cab drivers trying to learn about America.
It was just an extraordinary thing.
He is now a wonderful conservative doctor.
His grandparents would be very proud.
So are we.
Yes.
And I just wanted to share that with you.
But again, I wanted to stress how meaningful you were to me.
And I still remember saying, I still have your notebook, by the way, in the cellar.
Really?
I'm telling you, you made my day.
You must contact me.
Your story of your son was terrific, and the story of you being a student of mine at college.
There was one other person in 35 years who called me who was a student.
And if you're listening, sir, he's in the Bronx, I believe.
If you're listening, please contact me because I've got to get the story and I'll even cite you because after my Bible commentary in 2037, I intend to write my autobiography.
And this man, I mean, there's no question he was in my class because as a student, I was a student and he was a student.
It wasn't even a matter of I was a teacher.
We were both students in the philosophy class, and I had always told people I wanted to be a philosophy major.
And so you could take a course for like a week or two.
It's called audit.
And if you don't want to take the course, you don't get penalized.
So I guess I had that status or whatever.
And I remember the teacher coming in the first day and saying, Well, we're going to grapple with some of the big issues like, do you exist?
And I remember thinking, this man has to be kidding him, and he's probably a joker, which is fine.
I like that.
But he was serious.
The first philosophical issue we would deal with is, do you exist?
Do I exist?
How do we know we're not all figments of one's imagination?
I remember thinking, and the man who called remembered my doing.
I remember thinking, I'm going to raise my hand, offer to punch him, and then ask him, is it real or imagined?
And he said, this man called and said, oh, well, no, I remember you did something.
You got up and left.
And I had no recollection of that.
See, I have a fighting temperament.
I do.
And I know that not everybody does, so I don't expect everybody to fight.
I expect everybody to help the fighters.
Well, that's a great point.
I did leave, but in his view, I may not have left because I was never there.
How does a guy who doesn't know if we exist take attendance?
Charles Murphy, present.
Really?
How do you know?
By the way, do we have the time for me to tell the funniest college story I ever heard?
5-0?
This took place at Yeshiva University.
It's told to me, and I consider it the funniest school story I ever heard.
It's from a blind rabbi.
Now, I'll have to tell it to you when we come back.
I actually laugh when I think of it.

You know why I can't get out of my head?
Why doesn't this woman wear a mask?
They're all so mask-friendly in the White House now.
Biden is often behind the Resolute desk with his mask on in the Oval Office.
You hardly see Biden without a mask ever.
Somebody tweeted out last night, or yesterday, Jen Psaki.
She should be wearing a mask when she does her press conferences, perhaps double masks if she wants to set a good example.
If every American needs to wear a mask while working indoors, she does too.
Also, isn't she on federal property?
Americans demand consistency.
Now, do the rules not apply to the White House press secretary?
How does that work?
She's standing at a podium.
Numerous particles coming out of her mouth as she's answering questions that she apparently has been given in advance from the White House Press Corps.
I had my producer, who's pretty nifty at tracking things down, I said, Derek, what has she said about it?
He said, well, I don't think she's ever been asked.
Well, of course she hasn't ever been asked.
You think this news media would be asking her that?
You think this White House press corps would ask her that?
They'd ask Kayleigh McEnany.
They'd be shrieking demands at her.
They'd be calling her a super spreader.
They'd be bellowing that she's killing people.
Jen Psaki?
Nah, you don't want to wear a mask?

I had an opportunity to have dinner with him last night.
All right, here's the story.
Dennis Prager, Happiness Hour.
This will make you happy.
It's a true story.
It was told to me when I was in college by a student there at Yeshiva University, a religious Jewish university in New York City.
Blind rabbi, so they would have...
An hour or two hours devoted to the study of the Talmud.
Talmud is the second holiest work in Judaism.
Very hard.
Very, very, very hard.
It takes years for you to be able to even begin to read it on your own, even though you can read the letters.
First of all, it's in Aramaic, mostly.
So that's an issue.
Secondly, it's very compact.
The language does not spell things out.
All right, anyway.
So there was a kid in class.
And the blind rabbi would call on him almost every day to read from the Talmud and explain it.
So this kid, I learned it as Birnbaum, Birnbaum one day just got sick of being called on every day, but the blind rabbi didn't know any of the other names basically.
So Birnbaum changes his voice and goes, Birnbaum isn't here today.
And so the rabbi goes, okay, you read.
Of course he had to read in that voice.
This is the...
I have to say, I imagine myself in that classroom choking.
I might have needed medical assistance.
I would have laughed that hard.
Okay, you read.
Birnbaum was born under an unlucky star.
There is no other way to explain Bernbaum's condition.
That's a perfect example of a story you can't make up.
I mean, who's going to devise that story?
Alright.
All right, let's see here.
Houston, call me next hour, and let's see.

I believe that.
I think that's great.
Scott in Connecticut is not as sad with the state of the country.
He feels liberated.
That'd be interesting to hear why he feels liberated.
Anyway, all I could say is, Scott, you read.
That'll be my new end of call.
All right, y'all.
Now call in under, under, under, on any subject under the sun.

Let me ask you just to speculate, what do you suppose the Democrats are even hoping to do by impeaching Trump after, after, after.
I mean, many of us really don't understand why they would do something this crazy.
The reason they have to try so hard to sully Trump, even though he's no longer in the Oval Office, is because they recognize the enduring...
Power and magnetism, both of Trump as an individual, but even more importantly, of the America First movement, that something was aroused in this country.
And even though Trump didn't prevail on November 3rd, guess what?
Lots of House members did.
State houses all over the country did.
So I think they sense and realize, the Democrats, that there is a growing movement and they are trying to thwart it by doing the best they can to vilify.
Donald Trump.
And they think that if they can sort of beat him and bury him even out of office, now again, I believe this is going to backfire on them, but I think this is their strategy that they believe that they can effectively defuse our movement.
You keep, you know, like you just said, you know, Mayweather.
I mean, he is someone that you can never count him out.
There's never been anyone like him.
And I think they're scared to death, and they're just trying to do everything.
They're throwing a kitchen sink at him, hoping somehow to succeed.

All of that came to the fore in violent events that interrupted.
The joint session of Congress to count the votes of the Electoral College.
At the end of the day, our constitutional order proved itself once again resilient.
But that doesn't take away any of the tragedy and the horror of what took place.
It was an enormous stress test on ordered liberty.
A stress test brought on by the President of the United States.
We will never give up.
We will never concede.
It doesn't happen.
You don't concede when there's theft involved.
It's an opportunity for the right, the left, conservatives, liberals, all Americans to repudiate political violence and reaffirm, once again, our commitment to ordered liberty.
It's the American way.

you Do you expect there will be tax hikes, which would be ruinous with the economy as it is?
I do.
I guess I'm getting a bit pessimistic about all this because I do think there's a sense within the Democratic Party right now that this is really their only opportunity to go big or go home over the next two years.
I mean, technically they'll get two or three bites at the reconciliation apple if you look at how this might play out.
But I think they feel like they have, you know, one or two big swings here.
And they have to swing for the fences in order to have any hope of winning in the midterm and in 2022. And again, I just think it would be a mistake to interpret the results of the November election as giving them a sweeping mandate for progressive reform.
If anything, I think the verdict that the country delivered is that it wants a more We made incredible gains in the House.

There was a lot of split ticket voters who may have voted for Biden but still voted for a Republican senator or Republican congressman or congresswoman lower on down the ballot.

Americans need to work not only as a matter of providing for their family.

Hey, Dennis.
Hi.
Hi.
Yeah, I just wanted to make a comment.
This generation knows nothing of hardships, and we know only Wi-Fi and video games, and we're really...
Just handing this country over after millions of people, generations before us, fought and died for it.
And in one generation, it just amazes me how easily it is just all slowly being taken away from us.
And also, I was listening to your show yesterday, and I always wondered how society in Nazi Germany could let the horrific things happen to the Jews.
And now I'm kind of understanding.
The aspect of brainwashing society and giving them only one narrative and drilling it in people's heads.
Listen, I unfortunately agree with you.
I said this, this was the first of the many, not the many, the first of a number of sea changes in my thinking.
I always thought that a press could only brainwash a society in a police state.
And then I looked at the American media and I realized they brainwashed society in a free state.
So that was a revelation to me, unfortunately.
And I wrote about what you just spoke about in two back-to-back columns, one called The Good German, one called The Good American.
That sobered me up in the sense that I... I now, for the first time, understand the quiet German.
I don't understand the evil German.
I understand the quiet one.
With American civil liberties smashed, ground into dust, the number of Americans not speaking up is much larger than the number of Americans speaking up.
And we are not threatened by secret police.
We are threatened, though.
There's no question.
That's correct.
You are now, if you're a Trump supporter, you are now a potential white nationalist terrorist.
Yes.
All right.
Thank you.
Mona in Lansing, Michigan.
Hello.
Hi, Dennis.
Hi.
I know you're taking hydrochloroquine and ivermectin as a prophylaxis.
Along with zinc, correct?
Okay.
I sent a note to my doctor and asked if she would please prescribe these for me as the same.
And I said, I don't want the Moderna because it's using aborted fetus tissues and that's a moral thing.
I can't go there.
And I don't want the other one because I don't think there was enough research.
This is her reply.
I respect your decision not to get the COVID vaccine.
Unfortunately, I cannot prescribe.
The other medication.
The research has shown that the harm from hydrochloroquine outweighs any benefit.
There does not appear to be much from this medication, and it's not recommended for COVID treatment or prevention.
The ivermectin is undergoing trials for treatment in hospitalized patients with COVID. It seems to have some benefit in the lab, but does not appear to have so much, if any benefit, when used in humans.
The current recommendation from the CDC Is to not prescribe these medications for this purpose.
That's right.
There you go.
I know more about hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin than your doctor, which is zero praise of me and very strong contempt for your doctor, who might be the sweetest, kindest person.
I say that with complete sincerity.
Sweetness and kindness is often accompanied by traits That enable one to allow bad things to take place?
That she subscribes to the idea that there is a risk.
See, that's the point that I made yesterday or the day before.
That's key.
If I'm wrong and people took ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine and zinc on my say-so, nothing happened to them because the The ill effects of those drugs are minuscule to non-existent.
They've been taken all over the world for half a century.
But if I'm right, doctors have killed hundreds of thousands of Americans who would be alive if these doctors were not sheep and the CDC was not composed of compromised.
Epidemiologists and MDs.
So on the one hand, there's essentially no risk with hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin.
And on the other hand, you can die if you don't take it when you get COVID to begin with.
There is no contest.
Okay.
This is a big deal.
All right.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
Now, let's see.
Michelle in Daly City, California.
Hello, Michelle.
Hi, Dennis.
I just wanted to say that I was praying for you when I heard that you had COVID. Oh, I didn't have COVID. No, no, no.
Oh, thank you.
Listen, I... I was so thankful.
I was excited.
I was so happy when I heard you on the radio again because I just...
I had not been able to listen to the radio for a while, and when I came back on Tuesday and I heard your voice, I just said, oh, thank you, God.
Well, that's very, very kind, and I'm very touched.
I was in a house, my own house, with two young people who had COVID at the same time.
But I never had COVID. I was tested twice.
I quarantined, so I broadcast from home and followed all the protocols.
I don't want to get people worried and upset, but my wife and I are convinced that our taking hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin prevented us from getting it.
The two people in our home who did not take those medicines got COVID. The others didn't.
It may be sheer coincidence.
I fully acknowledge that, but I am reporting to you what happened.
Okay.
Let's go to Bob in Westwood, California.
Hello, Bob.
Good morning, Dennis.
Hi.
Good morning.
Yesterday you were talking, I think it was to your producer, and he mentioned the name of a novel that he read that he really enjoyed a lot.
And I was wondering if that, I can't remember the name of the novel.
And it was available on audio.
Why do you think it was a novel?
I think that's what he said.
Oh, okay.
No, no, I just wanted to know.
No, it was written by your Norwegian...
That's right.
Okay, a Dane.
All right, so you...
He's Danish, not Norwegian.
It's non-fiction, not a novel.
But you gave me enough clues for me to know who you're talking about.
The Honest Bjorn Lomborg.
And the book that...
Alan Estrin recommended with passion.
False alarm, how climate change panic costs us trillions, hurts the poor, and fails to fix the planet.
False alarm by Bjorn Lomborg.
He never has denied the Earth is getting warmer.
He believes that carbon emissions have a role in making the world warmer, but he tells the price paid.
Look, they don't like normal.
The very fact, as I read to you the previous hours, that we are told we can't take off masks even if we had the vaccine.
Who the hell are they to tell me that?
And if that's the case, why the hell should I take the vaccine?
If I can't get back to normal life, why shouldn't I take it?
Why should I take it?
Canada has just announced that it will not allow any cruise ships into its ports, which is going to have a terrible impact on Vancouver.

There are people who do want to readjust the way people live.
They were not controlled enough.
That's what it amounts to.

The reason they have to try so hard to sully Trump, even though he's no longer in the Oval Office, is because they recognize the enduring...
Power and magnetism, both of Trump as an individual, but even more importantly, of the America First movement.
That something was aroused in this country.
And even though Trump didn't prevail on November 3rd, guess what?
Lots of House members did.
State houses all over the country did.
You keep, you know, like you just said, you know, Mayweather.
I mean, he is someone that you can never count him out.
There's never been anyone like him.
And I think they're scared to death, and they're just trying to do everything.
They're throwing a kitchen sink at him, hoping somehow to succeed.

All of that came to the fore in violent events that interrupted the joint session of Congress to count the votes of the Electoral College.
You don't concede when there's theft involved.
It's an opportunity for the right, the left, conservatives, liberals, all Americans to repudiate political violence and reaffirm, once again, our commitment to ordered liberty.
It's the American way.

Now, this will never come up.

And I've been going through this in my head.
I'm thinking, well, maybe she had COVID. All right, well, that doesn't matter.
They've told us it doesn't matter if you've had COVID. You still have to wear your mask and social distance.
Yeah, but she's got the antibodies.

Hey, a reminder, folks, I'm going to be taking you to Israel in October.
Stand with Israel Banner.
I do this every other year.
They're life-changing trips.
And you'll want to get out of your house.
You'll want to get out of the country.
Not permanently.
Although some have been thinking about that.
And that banner, Stand With Israel, is up at DennisPrager.com Alright!
Did I have a call I was working on?
No.
Very nice.
Okay.
Okay, let's see here.
Judy Lutz in Minnesota.
Hello.
Hello.
Yes, it's Lutz in Minnesota.
My husband and I are registered for the Israel trip.
We are very excited.
We also added the Rome extension.
We've never been to Israel.
What should we do to prep and study prior to traveling?
You really don't have to do anything.
But if you want, the question is as appropriate with regard to Israel as I think any other place.
If I took you on a trip, as I am also the cruise from England to Iceland, people might want to read a book on England and a book on Iceland.
It is fun to know more about where you're going.
But we don't assume that people on the trip have a...
Knowledgeable background.
They may have a faith background, but we don't assume they have a knowledge background of anything, and everything's explained.
So just bring clothing that is the unpredictable weather in Israel in late October.
It could get cool.
It could be very warm.
I would worry more about my clothing than my reading.
I'm sorry?
I said, we'll definitely plan appropriately then.
Yes, absolutely.
Well, I look forward to meeting you.
You will have the time of your life.
There are many wonderful books, obviously.
Look, if you read about Israel, there are so many ways of approaching it.
Do you read the Bible just to get the biblical history?
Because you're going to go to many biblical sites.
But whether you...
Know about it in detail or not is not an issue for the trip.
Okay, everybody.
Toledo, Ohio, and Don.
Dan, I'm sorry.
Hello, Dan.
Hi, Dennis.
I was wondering, are you going to be taking the vaccine, and if so, which one?
Do you believe one is better than the other?
What are your thoughts?
My thoughts are as follows.
I tell people to do what makes them feel good.
I personally would not be unhappy if I were the last person in the US to get the vaccine.
I will take it if you can't travel without it.
I hope that that will be, in fact, adjudicated, whether or not airlines can stop you from traveling based on whether you've been vaccinated.
But nevertheless, it's more important for me to travel than my worries about the vaccine.
My worries about the vaccine are limited.
There's sort of a clicking in the background, so I'm going to put you on hold.
Oh, it's his blinker.
That's a good one.
There are quiet blinkers and noisy blinkers.
His falls in the latter category.
I am worried about only one group right now, and that is pregnant women and young women in general.
That's it.
I have read a lot about this and have been told a lot about this.
My concern is, and I think it's with regard to the placentia, I don't see why a pregnant woman would take it.
It's so odd to me.
Pregnancy has become such an area fraught with danger in women's lives.
So many women won't drink wine.
They won't touch tobacco during pregnancy.
Women throughout history drank and smoked during pregnancy.
My mother probably had a half-pack a day of L&Ms when she was pregnant with me.
It's a good thing she was, because it did stunt my growth, and I'm not over 6'4".
So it's amazing how careful people will be, but then...
A vaccination against the virus, a vaccination that is of a brand new type of vaccination, that they will take cheerfully even while pregnant.
So I don't agree with that.
Look, everybody knows it was rushed.
I hope it's fine.
Doctors that I respect have told me that it's fine.
Doctors that I respect have told me to hold off.
And it's a tough one.
It is a tough one.
Okie dokie.
Merritt in Connecticut and Scott.
Hello, Scott.
Hello, Dennis.
It's good to talk to my best friend who I've never met face-to-face.
Yeah, good.
I'm glad you feel that way.
Thank you.
After 25 years of listening to you, even when you're on a scratchy radio station that I could barely pick up coming out of New York.
But I often wanted to call you, and today I think is perfect timing, considering some of the calls I had before me.
But I was calling in during the happiness hour, and what I want to say was, I've never felt...
Liberated is wrong, but I have so much clarity.
And you taught me the importance of clarity.
I know I'm a lifelong conservative Republican, and now it's totally clear how half the country feels about us.
Whether or not they really know it.
You know, some have just gone along with it.
I've never felt more like...
So what is the clarity you have about those who hate you?
Well...
No, not much who hate me.
I don't think they quite understand what they're getting into.
I don't think they quite understand what they're buying into.
Leftists do.
They want to destroy America as we know it.
Liberals, Democrats, people just who aren't as like-minded.
I have clarity because I know we are not a racist country.
I know we're not systemically racist.
We destroy the systems.
There will always be individuals who are racist.
Show me the system, and I'm with you to fight that system.
They're not there.
I know our existence is not threatened by global warming, but I don't deny it.
You know, I just don't believe they're...
Yeah, you are a rational man.
I mean, that last comment alone.
We're called deniers if we deny.
Always ask them.
Anybody says, oh, Republicans are deniers.
Ask them what it is we deny.
We deny that it's an existential threat.
That means the existence of life on earth is threatened.
Yes, that we deny.
We don't deny that it is taking place.
It's an important distinction.
We shall return momentarily.
I'm Dennis Prager.
With numerous particles coming out of her mouth as she's answering questions that she apparently has been given in advance from the White House Press Corps.
That's okay with us.
Okay by us.

Manchin comes on last night and he says very reassuring thing.
He's not going to screw with the Byrd rule.
That is a core issue for him, and he very much wants to restore the bipartisan nature of Congress in general and the Senate in particular.
And so I'm inclined to take him at his word.
I think he feels very strongly about this and feels very strongly that the approach That the Biden administration is taking so early on here is the wrong approach.
But the fact is, we have not spent the full trillion dollars that we passed about a month ago.
And I think it would be reckless for us to ram through this purely partisan approach that's going to have a lot of things that are completely unconnected to coronavirus relief in it.

Okay, everybody.
Zale in Oak Park, Michigan.
Hello.
Thank you so much for taking my call.
I have a question on my mind that has been bugging me for a long time, and there's nobody better qualified to answer the question.
And I'm trying to understand the differences in the psyche of a liberal versus a conservative.
A liberal will always be in favor of the clean energy industrial complex, and a liberal will always be, and a conservative will always be supportive of the military industrial complex.
And you could almost predict that liberals are going to be much more fearful and concerned about a pandemic than conservatives.
Why do they have these different fears?
And you could almost predict where those are going to appear.
I have devoted my life to trying to answer that question.
There are two separate questions.
You asked one of them, which is totally legitimate.
What are the differences?
And then why does one person hold the conservative side?
And you're right, they're almost always consistent.
It's if you know one position.
If you know somebody's for capital punishment for murder, you can fairly predict their position on masks.
I mean, you know, name the most irrelevant to that idea position.
I don't know the answer.
The psychological one is not clear to me.
Why is somebody a leftist?
Why would you want to tear down the greatest hope for mankind, the United States?
I can't tap into something that nihilistic.
I admit it.
It's a flaw, I guess, and I'm not being cute.
It might be a flaw that I can tap into a murderer.
I could.
I could tap into a thief.
I understand what animates them.
I understand what animates adultery.
I'm going through the Ten Commandments.
I don't know what animates taking down Lincoln's statue.
It doesn't comport...
As the natural desires of stealing, of adultery, of murder even, things that I mentioned earlier, people have to fight their instinct in those directions.
Some have to fight one or more than others, but nevertheless, that's true for the human condition.
But to be on the left, what is in you that wants to say men give birth?
What is in you that wants an all-black dormitory on a campus as opposed to a mixed-race dormitory?
It's a very difficult question.
So my ongoing theory is that the left seeks two things simultaneously, chaos and power.
If I wrote a history of the left, it would be titled chaos and power.
Now, I have no desire to have power over anyone else, and I have no desire to create chaos.
So there's nothing in me that responds that way to civic society, to civil society.
I tap into selfish desires like, gee, I would like that stack of money behind the teller's booth.
I'm going to take it.
I mean, it's absurd.
There's no part of me that would do it, but I can get it.
I don't get leftism.
To be that ungrateful to this country for what you've been given is a level of sickness that I must admit I cannot tap into.
All righty, everybody.

What we are heading towards will be one of the most violent decades in American history.
Why?
Massive wealth and income inequality is one reason, because of the lockdowns and because of leaders that do not care about the well-being of their subjects.

The question posed to me by the last thoughtful caller, the last caller who, and he was thoughtful, not that he's the last caller and the only thoughtful one.
I just want to make that clear.
What makes people on the left tick?
It's a toughie.
As I said, I understand people who want to do bad things, but some bad things I don't understand.
So I understand violating any of the Ten Commandments.
As an example, we pretty much all could agree it's not good to steal, not right to steal, murder, etc.
Okay.
So what is the animating thing?
If you don't believe that men give birth, you're a hater.
I always do have, when I speak about it, I always do ask that.
Why is there such a person?
In that case, they don't really believe men give birth.
But they believe that to be moral, one has to say that.
And so there is a big herd-like cowardice element in leftism.
If I put these people, if I put a college kid who said men give birth on a truth detector, lie detector, would they pass?
It's an interesting interest.
I'd love to try that.
All right, everybody.

I didn't think you were going to put this on the air, but my concern is that because of my wife and I are on the 69, 70, I'd like to know where you get your treatment from Dr. Zelenko, which a lot of people probably need to know.
Well, I don't get it from Dr. Zelenko, but I get the treatment that he advocates.
I get it through my own doctor.
There are doctors who prescribe it.
There are pharmacists who won't even fulfill it.
Which is a first, I think, in medical history.
Pharmacists overruling doctors.
And I have good news for you.

Was it bad before?
It was, and I was ready to kick it off.
I agree with you.
I'm the last spot for caller, and I guess I'm hopefully the second next one after him.
Excellent.
That was an excellent question, and I have a mouthful to say about it, if you've got a second.
Well, I've got a second.
Go ahead.
The leftist mind is all about being entitled to things, whether they've earned them or not, being able to blame others for their failings, but to take credit for the success of others.
The conservative mind is all about taking personal responsibility and admitting failure when we fail. - Well, how does that fit in to Bill Gates?
Or Jeff Bezos?
Or Tom Steyer?
Billionaires?
Sure.
They're not interested in taking from someone else.
I'm sorry, they're not interested in what?
In being supported by the state or somebody else in general.
So how do you explain the staggering number of the wealthiest Americans being leftists?
It's about the control and the power.
But they love to be able to control.
The thoughts and actions and movements of other people.
That's what really distinguishes those elitist billionaires.
I happen to agree with you.
And now I'm curious.
Do you resonate to that desire?
No.
In fact, I'm the opposite.
Yes, okay.
I'm letting you go because you made that point and I wanted to talk about it.
Thank you.
That's exactly...
You see, I didn't know what he would answer, but...
That's what I think people need to understand.
One of the reasons for the gulf between left and right is that we're not even animated by similar impulses.
They want power over us.
We don't want power over them.
We don't want power over anybody.
The yearning to have to control others, and every one of you knows such people in your personal life.
Oh, he's controlling.
She's controlling, correct?
Just about everybody knows somebody like that.
Well, it's true in the micro, it's true in the macro in this case.
I don't know what animates that.
There is no part of me that wants to control anybody.
I mean, I want to keep people from committing murder.
That's obvious.
But almost beyond that, I don't have any desire to do so, and I don't want to be controlled.
The Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates and Tom Styers and the like, he's right about that.
They do.
They want to control others.
I so don't relate to it that it's hard for me to imagine you get your jollies from controlling other human beings?
You have such contempt for them?
And the answer is yes.

The Biden administration announced in their first week that the U.S. is rejoining the World Health Organization.
But the WHO is a flawed group.
One that has performed poorly while the world has struggled with COVID-19.

That's an achievement to actually have the power to hurt something good on this level.
But he's done that.
I don't know.
I have no idea what animates him.
I generally don't even ask what animates people because I judge people by their behavior.
