Dennis Prager Show - Lockdowns Hurt the Middle Class Aired: 2021-02-05 Duration: 03:37 === Middle-Class Struggle (03:36) === [00:00:00] Overwhelmingly, these people are middle-class people who have put their life's work and life's money on the line in the belief that if I serve nicely enough, if I have nice enough servers, if I have good enough food, I can make a middle-class income. [00:00:22] And now they've been shut down for no good reason. [00:00:28] I was reading a piece last night of Fauci and others saying restaurants should not be attended, even if they have a HEPA filter. [00:00:39] Listen to this. [00:00:40] Even if they have a HEPA filter, even if you got the vaccination or had the flu, or they had COVID, they still don't want you in a restaurant. [00:00:53] So the only answer is they want you in a restaurant. [00:00:58] At some time when the virus has simply worked its way through the population and ended on its own. [00:01:05] That is the great plan of your local epidemiologist. [00:01:11] Epidemiologist. [00:01:12] Yes, that's right. [00:01:13] This is... [00:01:17] Oh, and of course, don't fly. [00:01:22] Fauci said that. [00:01:23] Don't fly. [00:01:24] Even if you've gotten the vaccine, don't fly. [00:01:27] Well... [00:01:33] All right, let's see here. [00:01:36] Okay, actually, John in Chicago, I've taken you a little too often. [00:01:40] I love taking you because you differ with me, but I have rules about how often I could take a single caller. [00:01:49] He must have a great machine that dials in. [00:01:53] You remember those automatic dialers that would just dial on your behalf constantly if you've got a busy signal? [00:01:59] He must have one of those. [00:02:01] Because it's not that easy to get in that often. [00:02:06] That's right. [00:02:07] All right, Jim in Minneapolis. [00:02:09] Hello. [00:02:11] Dennis, love your show. [00:02:12] Thank you for what you do for us. [00:02:14] You're welcome. [00:02:16] I know you're a fighter. [00:02:17] I'd like to think I'm a fighter, too. [00:02:19] Why should we support the companies that want to destroy our conservative way of life, like the major media? [00:02:24] I've got an idea. [00:02:26] What do you think? [00:02:27] The C-A-L. Named in memory of the late great state of California, the conservative awareness list. [00:02:34] Not a boycott list. [00:02:35] It's an awareness list. [00:02:37] Makes half the nation, us conservatives, aware of who supports our enemies. [00:02:42] Imagine if their revenues crashed 50%. [00:02:44] That's how we can fight them, or that's how we can support the fighters. [00:02:49] What do you think? [00:02:50] I'm trying to understand it. [00:02:52] This would be a list. [00:02:53] Cal is short for California, so I got the pun, as it were. [00:02:57] It is a list of companies that what? [00:03:01] That support CNN, ABC, NBC. So this is what they do with companies that support Fox. [00:03:09] Correct, Dennis. [00:03:10] Let's fight back. [00:03:11] What else can we do? [00:03:13] I agree. [00:03:15] We have to fight back. [00:03:16] I've always been opposed to boycotts. [00:03:19] I said with pride for years I would eat. [00:03:23] Or on occasion, do eat Ben& Jerry's ice cream, even though Ben& Jerry are leftists, particularly foolish people. [00:03:31] But they made a great ice cream in America. [00:03:34] You eat the product, not the producer.
