Dennis Prager Show - The Left Manufactures Hysteria Aired: 2021-02-03 Duration: 08:11 === Forces of Destruction (04:25) === [00:00:00] You know, I've often said, almost every day in fact, that the left destroys everything it touches, and that while conservatives build and liberals build, the left destroys, which is a fact. [00:00:13] But there is one thing that the left does manufacture. [00:00:18] Hysteria. [00:00:20] Nobody does it as well. [00:00:25] And that's all this is about. [00:00:29] The president denied for 77 days that he lost. [00:00:33] So what? [00:00:35] He's not allowed the freedom? [00:00:37] If you think it's absurd, he doesn't have the freedom to say absurdities. [00:00:41] Did he do anything to block the next president from coming in? [00:00:49] Did he bring in armed forces? [00:00:52] Who brought in armed forces to Washington, D.C.? And why are they still there, in fact? [00:00:58] By the way, are they really building a fence around the Capitol? [00:01:01] It's not clear? [00:01:03] How disgusting. [00:01:06] It's this manufactured hysteria. [00:01:10] It's like the manufactured hysteria about white supremacy. [00:01:16] So did you know that Facebook has announced this crisis of free speech is the greatest of such in American history. [00:01:25] Facebook has just announced. [00:01:28] Not just. [00:01:29] When did it announce this? [00:01:31] It's not going to take any ads for the recall of Governor Newsom of California. [00:01:37] You know when it was announced? [00:01:39] But obviously recently. [00:01:43] Think about that. [00:01:45] They are given this license, as it were, to be immune from any lawsuits. [00:01:55] With the deal being, then you have to be a conduit for all information. [00:02:01] We don't expect you to allow a videoed rape on Facebook. [00:02:06] We don't expect you to allow how to manufacture an atomic bomb. [00:02:10] But without such clear exceptions, people are free to express their opinions, but they're not. [00:02:18] Why can't there be an ad on Facebook for the recall of the governor of California? [00:02:24] Which reminds me to remind you that you can go... [00:02:27] We sent in ours yesterday, by the way. [00:02:30] Just for the record. [00:02:34] It said you have to sign in black or blue ink. [00:02:38] So do you think my more purple-like ink will be okay for my fountain pen? [00:02:44] Or will they disqualify it? [00:02:48] We actually thought about that, my wife and I, when I signed it. [00:02:52] They'll do anything to disqualify a ballot. [00:02:55] The people who yell voter suppression don't seem to be all that concerned with regard to voter suppression and the recall. [00:03:06] This man has ruined so many people's lives in the state of California that he holds a somewhat unique spot in American history as utterly destructive. [00:03:18] So with the L.A. Times. [00:03:24] These are forces of bad. [00:03:27] They're forces of destruction. [00:03:28] The L.A. Times defended Gascon, the district attorney of Los Angeles County. [00:03:35] Not only endorsed, they're defending his policies. [00:03:39] It's one thing they could endorse him. [00:03:41] They'll always endorse a leftist. [00:03:43] But now that they see what he's doing, do you know that other counties are not even referring cases to Los Angeles County? [00:03:51] Because he has a soft spot. [00:03:54] This George Soros-funded, truly evil man, has a soft spot for murderers. [00:04:02] Because... [00:04:03] They don't care. [00:04:05] You understand? [00:04:05] The left doesn't care if you've murdered or if you've raped, if you've sold enough drugs to kill a village. === Teachers' Contempt (04:00) === [00:04:12] They care about your color. [00:04:15] Do you understand the utter inversion of moral principles that takes place on the left? [00:04:27] I judge you by your color, not by your deeds. [00:04:32] This is considered, there are two groups that do this, the left, like Soros and Gascon, and the LA Times, and the Ku Klux Klan. [00:04:43] They judge people by their color, not by their deeds. [00:04:46] Tell me if I have in any way exaggerated, in any way, shape, or form. [00:04:54] It proves, as does so much else, like men give birth, men menstruate, it proves that if anything that is repeated enough, A half the population will succumb to. [00:05:08] It's not a cheerful thought, but you have it in your hands to fight. [00:05:15] You know, I'm ambivalent now. [00:05:18] I've gone from opposed to ambivalent about the school's opening. [00:05:23] My contempt for most teachers in the big cities of this country is very sad. [00:05:30] It's the last group I ever wanted to hold in contempt. [00:05:34] But their disinterest in the welfare of students is mind-boggling. [00:05:40] It's mind-boggling. [00:05:42] It shows you how left corrupts everything and touches, that teachers don't care about the well-being of students. [00:05:50] And why am I now ambivalent? [00:05:54] Here it goes. [00:05:55] Because the longer there is no school... [00:05:59] The more people will take their children out of school permanently, which you have to do anyway because your schools do not teach your children. [00:06:09] They indoctrinate your children. [00:06:12] Ask your high school student. [00:06:15] High school? [00:06:16] I probably knew this in fifth grade, but ask your high school student the following question. [00:06:23] How many branches of government are there and name them? [00:06:29] Right? [00:06:29] Do you think that most high schoolers in big cities, not in Kenosha, Wisconsin, do you think that they would have an answer to that? [00:06:41] I don't. [00:06:42] Obviously, that's why I'm raising the question. [00:06:44] I mean, obviously, don't ask tricky ones, like how many people did communism kill? [00:06:51] Or for that matter, increasingly, what was the Holocaust? [00:06:55] So you wonder at a given point, what do they learn? [00:06:59] And the answer is, they learn how bad America is. [00:07:05] 1-8 Prager 776, see that? [00:07:08] There is a silver lining in the non-opening of schools. [00:07:15] Maybe it will awaken people to the fact that teachers, for the most part, having gone through a left-wing indoctrination. [00:07:24] In order to be a teacher, don't care about your kids. [00:07:29] That's really an important revelation. [00:07:31] Deeply sad. [00:07:33] I was of the generation where the teacher was right no matter what. [00:07:40] One of my teachers in 8th grade, so annoyed that I kept talking in class, he threw me over a desk. [00:07:48] And if I tell that to kids today, they go, what did your father say? [00:07:52] To which my response has been, you've got to be kidding. [00:07:56] If I'd have told my father the teacher threw me over the desk, my father would have thrown me over a desk. [00:08:03] The teacher was always right. [00:08:07] There was no higher status in our home than teacher.
