Dennis Prager Show - Did the 'Knee on the Neck' Actually Kill George Floyd? Aired: 2021-01-27 Duration: 03:50 === George Floyd Controversy (03:42) === [00:00:00] Hello, everybody. [00:00:01] Dennis Prager here. [00:00:03] Ryan in Atlanta, Georgia. [00:00:04] Hello. [00:00:07] Hi, Dennis. [00:00:08] First of all, I do love your show. [00:00:11] Very good show. [00:00:12] Thank you. [00:00:12] I listen to it dance. [00:00:13] Thank you. [00:00:15] But my question is, going back to what you were saying about George Floyd, are you saying that he didn't die from the officer's knee being on his neck? [00:00:26] Apparently, there were two autopsy reports, and one says he didn't, and one says he did. [00:00:33] I haven't heard of the two autopsy reports. [00:00:36] I've only heard of one that said that he died. [00:00:39] Right. [00:00:41] Well, let me say, listen, I have zero vested interest except truth. [00:00:46] I've been broadcasting 35 years. [00:00:49] I am committed to the truth more than any other single thing. [00:00:53] It does not appear that that common use of a way of subduing a suspect who won't enter the police car, this commonly used tactic has ever killed anybody. [00:01:07] It might have. [00:01:09] I don't know. [00:01:10] It'll be interesting to see what the jury recommends, but I don't believe the Minneapolis Police Department would have something that is likely to kill somebody. [00:01:21] Okay. [00:01:24] I'm not going to say that it didn't kill them. [00:01:26] I'm not going to say it didn't either. [00:01:28] I don't know. [00:01:29] Look, I said, because I'm committed to telling you the truth, people were saying he can't breathe, he can't breathe. [00:01:37] And that is a charge against the policeman. [00:01:43] But it is also a charge against the charge that he was killed, which is the mainstream press's charge. [00:01:53] I don't know if he was killed by the policeman. [00:01:56] And I don't know if he was killed by the policeman that it was racist. [00:02:00] These are two huge leaps that the country has taken, causing untold anger and damage. [00:02:10] Okay? [00:02:10] I absolutely believe that. [00:02:12] I can agree with the fact that the media has definitely turned America into something that I don't think it's been in quite some time. [00:02:20] I think it's been... [00:02:21] Elevated. [00:02:22] Of course, social media has completely reformed the entire world and the way that we operate. [00:02:29] That's right. [00:02:30] I will say, with regards to this police brutality that everyone's talking about, and more specifically with George Floyd's scenario, since that's what you're talking about this morning or this afternoon. [00:02:47] I do think that looking at that video, that there should be some type of reforms done to the police department. [00:02:53] The police department shouldn't hurt people, shouldn't kill people. [00:02:56] That's not their goal. [00:02:58] Their goal is to protect. [00:02:59] I am with you. [00:03:00] You're a good man. [00:03:01] I'm honored to have you as a listener. [00:03:03] I just want to say, I don't know. [00:03:07] I admit, I don't know if this thing has ever killed anybody. [00:03:12] I would allow myself, let me put it to you this way. [00:03:16] I would allow myself to have a knee on the side of my neck and see what happens. [00:03:23] That is how skeptical I am that that is a direct killer of human beings. === Thank You Again (00:21) === [00:03:32] It's hard for me to believe the Minneapolis Police Department would have something routine that has a likelihood of killing. [00:03:42] Okay. [00:03:43] Anyway, I'm going to continue with Thank You Again, and I'm going to continue with Professor Hilarious.
