My name is Dennis Prager, DP, Department of Police, Department of Parks, displaced person, double play.
Any other DPs come to mind, gentlemen?
You wouldn't tell me if they did, because you want me to move on.
You see, I said double play.
Disabled person.
Listen to this, everybody.
We'll now be able, by government edict in California, we will be able to dine outside.
Right?
Not inside.
Is that right, gentlemen?
Starting Saturday, I believe, or Friday.
So I have a graph here.
And when Newsom...
It's hard to call him Governor Newsom because it doesn't matter.
It's just hard.
And Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, who deserves to be ousted, and you can sign the petition to oust him.
It is up at DennisPrager.com.
Where would people find it, the petition to oust Newsom?
On Sighted on the Show.
So listen to this.
He instituted an indoor dining ban, according to this graph here, but the middle of November.
Cases zoomed up.
Zoomed up in California.
The graph is like the side, not even of a ski slope.
It's almost a perpendicular line.
It's almost 90 degrees.
That is how intense the increase in California.
Cases, positive cases.
And ICU filled by positive cases.
Alright?
Then, at the height, at the height, right after...
Joe Biden becomes president.
Newsom cancels the stay-at-home order.
There are almost half the ICU beds available with the cancellation of order than there were when he put in the order.
That means only one thing.
It has nothing to do with science.
As I've told you, the left never follows science.
They follow the scientists they agree with.
Isn't that astonishing?
Why was the lockdown done by Democratic governors and mayors almost entirely?
In order to hurt the economy so that President Trump not be re-elected.
Not in order to save lives.
They actually destroyed lives with the economic calamity.
What was the statistic on unemployment?
It is the greatest single rise in history that we have gone through from 2019 to now.
This is the steepest rise in unemployment in recorded American history.
Yes, so I just wanted you to know that about the governor.
And how it is political and not science.
Hurt people so that Trump loses.
That was the ambition, and it worked.
What can I tell you?
Now, I marked up the speech that the President of the United States, Joe Biden, gave.
And, amazingly, here we go.
I want you to hear this.
Remarks by President Biden at signing of executive order on racial equity.
It was, I think, Tucker Carlson who was a gift to the country.
Tucker Carlson spoke about the use of the word equity.
No longer equality.
Did you notice the switcheroo?
Like we switched from global warming to climate change?
It's a real switcheroo.
Now what does that mean?
Equality is equality of rights.
Equality of opportunity.
Equality before the law.
Equity is results.
And it was he or a guest who pointed out, here is equity.
And I will...
Add my own helpful, hopefully, insights into this analogy.
You are seated at a casino.
And a bunch of you at a blackjack table, let's say.
I don't know if that's the analogy.
You use blackjack table, but it doesn't matter.
It was a casino analogy.
And equality means you all get the same chance to win against the dealer.
Right?
To get blackjack, for example.
Or to double down.
Or to split your cards.
The only gambling I am aware of is blackjack.
So I'm using that analogy.
That's equality.
Equity is you all have the same result.
You all lose or you all win.
And the same amount no matter how much you bet.
So this is the new...
Totalitarian word.
Equity.
So listen to, I have some remarks.
I will read them.
I didn't send them in to Sean to have you hear it stated by the President.
I didn't see any great need to because I could do it for you.
Those 8 minutes and 40 second seconds that took George Floyd's life.
Opened the eyes of millions of Americans and millions of people around all over the world.
It was the knee on the neck of justice and it wouldn't be forgotten.
It stirred the conscience of tens of millions of Americans and in my view it marked a turning point in this country's attitude toward racial justice.
It's because of what was done by the media.
How many of you actually have seen, as I have, the video of what the police tried to do with George Floyd prior to his being on the ground?
They basically begged him to get into the police car.
And he kept struggling.
He wouldn't get into the car and complained he couldn't breathe.
He couldn't breathe before they touched him.
He was saying, I can't breathe.
Just getting into the car, he said he couldn't breathe.
And one of the autopsy reports revealed that he had fentanyl.
He had exponential times the amount of fentanyl needed to kill you.
That could be fatal.
One of the procedures of the Minneapolis Police Department is to put a knee on the side of the neck.
It's not the front of the neck, the side of the neck.
To keep a recalcitrant subject.
Stationary.
This is a hold, if you will, that is used by the Minneapolis State Department.
Now, did I say State Department?
That was cool.
The Minneapolis State Department.
Wow.
Is there such a thing?
I doubt it, yeah.
Although, they would make their own foreign policy, when you think about it.
If they were a Republican president.
Now, what is disturbing, having watched it, is the number of people saying to the police officer, he can't breathe, he can't breathe.
So, this was evident to bystanders that George Floyd could not breathe.
Reason for the not breathing, I don't know how much it was related to the knee on the side of the neck, which does not, to the best of my knowledge, affect breathing.
Now, I don't know, only God knows, had this not taken place, or had he taken the knee off his neck, what would have happened?
But anyway, he did die of suffocation.
He stopped breathing.
And And this video went around the world and unleashed the terrors of rioting and mass protesting as if this characterizes America.
Right?
Which is what Joe Biden said.
This characterized America.
It opened, it stirred the conscience of tens of millions of Americans, marked a turning point in this country's attitude toward racial justice.
Only because that's what Americans were taught to regard.
The apathy toward black life is evident in the data on the numbers of blacks who are dying because the police have pulled back.
This has no impact on Joe Biden or the Democratic Party.
More coming up.
More coming up.
Congressmen who are Republicans.
Think how crazy this is.
So look, AOC goes on and on and she'll call Ted Cruz a white supremacist.
Ted Cruz isn't even white.
And a whole bunch of other stuff, right?
It's one thing you're just calling the white people white supremacists.
You're also calling the Latino people white supremacists.
If Candace Owens can be a white supremacist, then, you know, right?
I know.
She's, yeah, exactly.
But this concept where they've used emotions to supersede everything.
She knows that she's not afraid that one of her fellow congressmen is going to shoot her.
But think how dangerous that language is.
And it's very tempting, then, for us to go in with...
Equally as emotionally charged and over-the-top language.
But that's just all of us going on the road to hell together.
So the question really is like, well, what do you do?
So what do we do in the face of a group of people who now have power, whose goal is to have power, who are telling us what they're going to do with that power?
What do we do as people that don't want to use governmental power?
This is the great challenge, I think, of our time.
For liberty-minded people.
It's like, alright, we're live and let live, but if the other guys are trying to come onto our property and do stuff or indoctrinate our children or whatever it might be, then our live and let live has to have some limit.

It's terrific.
What's been the response from other fighters from that?
Do some not like it?
Some ask you to stop?
Some people, they get jealous.

There's something called OpenSecrets.org.
It's a website that tracks election spending.
Democrat candidates and groups spent $6.9 billion, that's B as in bodation, compared to $3.8 billion for Republicans.
Says presidential candidate Joe Biden, first candidate to raise...
More than $1 billion from donors.

Hello.
Hi, Dennis.
First of all, I do love your show.
Very good show.
Thank you.
I listen to it dead.
Thank you.
But my question is, going back to what you were saying about George Floyd, are you saying that he didn't die from the officer's knee being on his neck?
Apparently, according, there were two autopsy reports, and one says he didn't, and one says he did.
I haven't heard of the two autopsy reports.
I've only heard of one that said that he died.
Right.
Well, let me say, listen, I have zero vested interest except truth.
I've been broadcasting 35 years.
I am committed to the truth more than any other single thing.
It does not appear that that common use of a way of subduing a suspect who won't enter the police car, this commonly used tactic has ever killed anybody.
It might have.
I don't know.
It'll be interesting to see what the jury recommends, but I don't believe the Minneapolis Police Department would have something that is likely to kill somebody.
Okay.
I'm not going to say that it didn't kill them.
I'm not going to say it didn't either.
I don't know.
I said, because I'm committed to telling you the truth, people were saying he can't breathe, he can't breathe.
And that is a charge against the policeman.
But it is also a charge against the charge that he was killed, which is the mainstream press's I don't know if he was killed by the policeman, and I don't know if he was killed by the policeman that it was racist.
These are two huge leaps that the country has taken, causing untold anger and damage.
Okay?
I absolutely believe that.
I can agree with the fact that the media has definitely turned America into something that I don't think it's been in quite some time.
Elevated.
Of course, social media has completely reformed the entire world and the way that we operate.
That's right.
I will say, with regards to this police brutality that everyone's talking about, and more specifically with George Floyd's scenario, since that's what you're talking about this morning or this afternoon.
I do think that looking at that video, that there should be some type of reforms done to the police department.
The police department shouldn't hurt people, shouldn't kill people.
That's not their goal.
Their goal is to protect.
I am with you.
You're a good man.
I'm honored to have you as a listener.
I just want to say, I don't know.
I admit, I don't know if this thing has ever killed anybody.
I would allow myself, let me put it to you this way.
I would allow myself to have a knee on the side of my neck and see what happens.
That is how skeptical I am that that is a direct killer of human beings.
It's hard for me to believe the Minneapolis Police Department would have something routine that has a likelihood of killing.
Okay.
Anyway, I'm going to continue with, thank you again, and I'm going to continue with Professor Hilarious.
PR is President, PR is Professor.
President Joe.
You know what it is?
I admit it.
It's hard for me to say.
I admit it.
He is the President.
I don't deny that.
But he has already done spectacular damage.
I now continue with his remarks at signing from the White House an executive order on racial equity.
One of the reasons I'm so optimistic about this nation is that today's generation of young Americans is the most progressive, thoughtful, inclusive generation that America has ever seen.
what Well.
Thoughtful.
That's a toughie.
And they are pulling us toward justice in so many ways, forcing us to confront the huge gap in economic, excuse me, economic inequity.
I'm reading as it's written.
Between those at the top and everyone else, forcing us to confront the existential crisis of climate, and yes, forcing us to confront systemic racism and white supremacy.
Almost every talk he uses the words white supremacy.
This is a gigantic lie of the left, that white supremacy is a danger in this country.
Do any of you know a white supremacist?
I mean, other than Sean, I don't know one.
Just the other day, he walked in, he goes, whites are supreme.
He was talking about egg whites, but it doesn't matter.
His very preference for egg whites is suspect.
There's no question.
And now, as I return to Earth, Do any of you know a white supremacist?
Is there anyone?
Let me explain white supremacy.
It's almost impossible to be a white supremacist if you give it any thought.
So, let's say in my case, I have not been charged with white supremacy, I will admit.
Bigotry, yes.
Let's see, sexist, intolerant, xenophobic, homophobic, racist, bigoted, yeah.
But I'm not white supremacist.
But let's say I were.
So here's one clear reason why it would be unlikely.
Were the Nazis white?
Yes.
So how can you be a white supremacist?
Now, you could say, well, you could be Nazi.
Okay, but I'm a Jew, so A, they wouldn't have allowed me in the club.
B, I would have been dead.
But other than that, it's powerful rhetoric.
But how about this?
What color were the communists in Europe?
What color was Stalin?
What color was Lenin?
What color was Trotsky?
What color were all the communist leaders of Eastern Europe?
White.
They were all white.
So the notion of white supremacy...
Is a self-contradictory notion because there are gigantic numbers of whites who have done evil.
To whites!
Who do you think Stalin sent to the gulag?
Blacks?
White supremacists.
For the President of the United States to regularly talk about white supremacy means he lies.
in a much more serious manner than his predecessor.

I think every Republican sees the House process as an affront to the presidency and due process.
So what's going to happen?
If she delivers the articles to us, they'll have to be disposed of under the process of the Senate.
If we could get 51 senators to dismiss, it's all over.
There's more than a handful of Democrats praying that Joe Biden will get on the phone and call Schumer and say, it's over.
Because they understand this is going to blow up in their face politically.
I've never felt better about the Republican Senate conference being united behind the idea that what the House did was wrong in terms of process.
And I think we're going to have an overwhelming Republican vote that this second impeachment of Donald Trump is unconstitutional.
Well, that was last night.
Today, Chuck Schumer announced that...
Pelosi has informed him that the article of impeachment against President Trump will be delivered to the Senate on Monday, which paves the way for a trial.
It's obviously a developing story.
We're going to see what happens next.
We're going to see what Republicans are made of.

Senator Tom Cotton, good morning, Senator.
Welcome.
Good to talk to you.
I know you believe a trial of former President Trump is unconstitutional.
Is that the majority view of the Republican caucus?
Hugh, I think Senate Republicans are coming around to that view as they think more about it.
I mean, I think for most Americans, it's just a very common sense position, though.
I mean, the Democrats want to have a trial to convict and remove from office a man who left office yesterday.
And by the time we get around to that trial and a few more days, that's going to be an even stranger proposition.
Why are the Democrats spending the Senate's time in an obsessive inquest against a private citizen when we could be focused on what really matters, like getting more vaccines out to Americans or helping Americans get back to work or defending this country from threats we face abroad?
That's just a common-sense view of things, Hugh.
Now, I think the Constitution really couldn't be much plainer.
It says that the President, the Vice President, and civil officers of the United States shall be subject to impeachment, conviction, and removal from office.
Donald Trump is none of those things now.
And to put a punctuation mark on that to you, the reports I'm hearing in the Senate is that the Democrats proposed not to have John Roberts preside over this trial because The Chief Justice only presides of a trial against the President.
And if that's, in fact, their position, they are admitting that Donald Trump is no longer the President and therefore is not susceptible to impeachment proceedings.
The whole thing, again, to me just shows how obsessive the Democrats and the media have become about Donald Trump over these last five years.
Donald Trump may no longer live in the White House, but he is living rent free in the heads of Democrats in the media.

They're drama queens.

Things on planet Earth outside of evil regimes like North Korea and Iran and so on, things...
have been getting better and better, more people employed, more people eating, more people out of poverty, more travel, more interaction between nations.

Can you imagine the President of the United States feeling an obligation, I guess, to his people to bring up these two things, which I consider essentially fake?
I mean the idea that anybody that you know or I know would agree with white nationalism or domestic terrorism much less be a part of it is just outstanding.
It is breathtaking to me that he said this in an inaugural speech where he's calling For unity, I just...
No, you're not by yourself.
And there's a lot of people that are pointing to the same realities, that it's one thing to have rhetoric that talks about being unified.
And here's something else I think we all need to just get over.
Unity may on some level be virtuous, but it is not the highest of virtues.
And there are virtues that are actually much more valuable from a moral and even civil scale.
And one of those is freedom.
Take out all of the references to unity in yesterday's speech and replace it with conformity.
You have a better understanding of what The left actually means.
But I think that there are some things that are far more important than unity.
Clarity is one of them.
To be clear and to clearly understand what truth is, is a far higher, greater virtue than unity.
I also believe that at the end of the day, conformity is what they're really talking about.
I believe that the defense of freedom is a greater virtue than what they're dealing with.

More from President Biden's speech on racial equity.
For too long, we've allowed a narrow, cramped view of the promise of this nation to fester.
You know, we've bought the view that America is a zero-sum game in many cases.
If you succeed, I fail.
Did you read this?
Yeah, I did.
I don't know what he's talking about either.
This is the straw man thing of his predecessor on the Democratic side.
This is exactly what Barack Obama did in virtually every speech.
Made up things and then attacked them.
Who says if you succeed, I fail?
Whites say that about blacks.
That's what the charge is.
If you get ahead, I fall behind.
If you get the job, I lose mine.
Maybe worst of all, if I hold you down, I lift myself up.
What is he talking about?
The reason that they fill the environment with charges of lies on the right, especially President Trump, is that they live on the lie.
It gets worse.
There is actually something that is stunning.
I don't know if it's in his speech.
Where is the one where they say that about the 1776 commission?
It's in here?
Okay.
Just imagine if instead of consigning millions of American children to under-resourced schools, we gave each and every three- and four-year-old child a chance to learn, to go to school, not daycare, school, and grow and thrive in school and throughout.
When they've done that, the places it's been done, it shows they have an exponentially greater chance of going all the way through 12 years of school and doing it well.
I thought the study showed that this preschool stuff didn't matter.
It doesn't.
Am I right?
So he made that up.
By the way, wouldn't he be for school choice for blacks?
They're held back in education by the Democrats.
Just imagine if instead of denying millions of Americans the ability to own a home, who is denying millions of Americans the ability to own a home?
There's no substance to these charges.
Who is denying millions of Americans the ability to own a home?
And build generational wealth who made it possible for them to buy a home, their first home, and begin to build equity to provide for their families and send their children off to school.
Does anyone doubt that the whole nation will be better off?
Well, where is the...
I printed it out and I can't find the thing on the 1776. It's not the whole speech.
Oh, you're right, it isn't.
Here's the rest of the speech.
Good.
Oh, my God.

Skyrocket.
Remember they said anti-Semitism skyrocketed when Trump got elected?
This is a gigantic lie.
Now, here is the scariest part.
What?
Anti-Guamism?
You shouldn't even say it's so painful.
It's such a painful subject in America.
Hostility to Pacific Islanders?

How concerned are you that sooner or later we're just going to be in our little ghettos, Dave?
Well, look, it's legit.
CNN did a piece this weekend, or was it just two or three days ago, sorry, with this Facebook representative saying that they should basically take Fox News and the rest of them off the air.
This is a real problem.
And again, a bunch of us, it's like, I accept that CNN exists.

The thing I'm super curious about, fight day.
What does your day look like?
That day must be the longest day of the year.
It feels like, honestly, a minute is like two days.
Forever.
You're like, come on, let's get this over with, right?
Literally.
Do you sleep well the night before?
Nah.
Yeah, usually I'm not sleeping.
You're in your hotel room going through.
Yeah.
And you just got done doing like the weight cut.
So, you know, you just lost 20 pounds and you're completely depleted.
You took all the salts out of your body.
You're dehydrated because you're pretty much water loading.
And then you take all the water and the weight off you and you're just completely dehydrated.
And you weigh in the day before the fight.
You weigh in the day before the fight.
So you got 24 hours to rehydrate and then you fight.
So like that whole process is like you're rehydrating.
You're trying to put the right nutrients in, but you can't put them in too quick because if you put them in too quick, your stomach and your system is not going to take it.
So do you have a nutritionist that comes with you that helps monitor all that?
Yeah, I'm a nutritionist.
That's fascinating.
So it's not just being able to psychologically prepare.
You have to, because you're just cutting, you're cutting, you're cutting, you got to make the weight.
Yeah.
And if you don't, that's just, you know, you're done.
There's no fight, right?
There's a fight, but then you have to give up 30.
Hi, everybody.
You're listening to the Dennis Prager Show.
So...
The scariest part of the President Biden talk on equity is the following.
I rescinded the previous administration's harmful ban on diversity and sensitivity training.
How much good was done in the Trump administration?
That's an example.
These communist-style education things where you can't differ with the person sent in to give you the government line?
It's completely reminiscent of communism.
Completely.
Come in and tell you you're all racist?
That's a real great way of having interracial harmony at a place of work.
All of you here who are black, you are victims of the guy and the woman next to you.
They may deny they're racist.
You may even think they're not.
But they are!
And that's what they're told.
These paid hacks.
These re-education camp types.
So he's rescinded the harmful ban on diversity and sensitivity training.
That's what people need.
Diversity and sensitivity training.
And now, the greatest lie, This lie told by Biden is greater than any of the lies, any one of the lies that are allegedly been told, have been told by President Trump.
And abolished, that's what he, I abolished, the offensive, counterfactual 1776 commission.
Counterfactual.
1619 is the counterfactual.
The man lies because he's on the left.
Every leftist lies or they wouldn't be on the left.
Liberals and conservatives, some lie, some don't.
Leftists lie because truth is not a left-wing value.
I've said this all of my life.
This is an example.
There are more lies in this speech than in any speech Donald Trump gave.
But these are dangerous lies.
It's counterfactual that America was founded in 1776. The President of the United States said that yesterday.
Unity and healing must begin with understanding the truth, not ignorance and lies.
It is ignorance and lies that America was founded in 1776. But none of this is reported.
Right?
It's a non-issue.
Okay.
I just thought you should be aware.
My dear friends, the male-female hour is coming up on the Dennis Prager Show.

Hey Mike, this is Time in Chicago.
It costs $20 million a day for the Senate to convene.
They're wasting more money when they have the people's work to do.
Just what is wrong with these people?
Great question.
I wish I had the answer.
Well, I've got a couple of answers.
Senator Rand Paul this week on Fox News suggested what will happen to the Republican Party if Republicans go along.
With this cockamamie plan to convict Trump of inciting an insurrection.
My fear is that if Republicans, particularly Republican leadership, goes along with this impeachment, they'll destroy the party.
And so I think it's a huge mistake.
I think it's a hugely partisan exercise on the part of the Democrats.
But for Republicans who go along with it, I think they'll destroy our party.
Donald Trump isn't everything in the party, but he did bring a lot of people to the party, and I think it's a huge mistake for people to say, oh, well, we're just going to impeach him, and that all of the blue-collar workers that he brought to our party are going to stay.
No, I think quite a few of them will be unhappy.
So I hope our leadership will think twice about these undercurrents and rumblings about them actually voting for impeachment.
I sure hope it doesn't happen.
That was Senator Rand Paul during the inaugural ceremonies.
That was the band and all that in the background.
He was on Fox News.

Now, I just want to finish this list of things that Democrats have said over the years about Republicans.
Just to let you know that this business about healing and the only reason that they were so angry about Donald Trump is because Donald Trump was Donald Trump.
They've never had this kind of venom towards Republicans before.
He just brought a whole new level of angst, and he just brought it out of Democrats.
And you can't just blame him because Donald Trump brought it out.
2012 Republican National Convention.
After that convention, the Democrat DNC chairman, John Burton, said, and I'm quoting, Republicans lie.
They don't care if people think they lie.
As long as you lie, Joseph Goebbels said the big lie, you just keep repeating it, end of quote.
Goebbels, the propaganda minister of Adolf Hitler, the chairman of the South Carolina Democratic Party, in 2012, compared the state's Republican governor to Hitler's mistress.
I think he married her in the bunker.
Nikki Haley was down in the bunker a la Ava Braun.
Maxine Waters about George Herbert Walker Bush.
I believe he's a racist for many, many reasons.
He's a mean-spirited man who has no concern or care about what happens to the African-American community.
I truly believe that, end of quote.
Maxine Waters, 1992. They're coming for our children.
They're coming for the poor.
They're coming for the sick.
They're coming for the disabled.

Question is on immigration.
I asked Peter Baker yesterday if the president's new proposal of an eight year path to citizenship and stopping the wall was an opening bid or a bottom line.
And he agreed with me that if it's a bottom line, it's dead on arrival.
Do you agree with that?
Well, I certainly hope so and I'll do everything I can to make it so.
But let's remember, Hugh, even if it's just an opening bid, there's an element of kabuki theater here.
Joe Biden may be expecting some willing Republican accomplices to swoop in at the last minute with a fig leaf of enforcement, like money for drones or something at the southern border.
We should be anticipating That highly stylized gambit right now, and we should reject it out of hand right now.
Republicans should not pass an amnesty-first bill that puts an amnesty in place for 15 million illegal immigrants while also increasing guest workers' visas at a time when we still have 10 million people out of work.
The focus should be on getting Americans back to work and getting our borders secure and enforcing immigration laws.
At the place of employment.
This bill, by the way, is not just lacking in enforcement, Hugh.
It actually guts enforcement.
It guts the Evarify program that we already have in place.
Some states use on a mandatory basis that we should use nationwide.
Let me ask you, Senator, very quickly.
Is it an absolute must-have, the completion of at least 700, and I would prefer 900 miles of wall of the sort that President Trump has built?
No, Hugh, I don't think the wall in itself is a critical point that would get Senate Republicans to vote for an amnesty.
No, we shouldn't proceed to a discussion of a bill that's going to be focused on giving American jobs to foreign workers.
Can you imagine the President of the United States feeling an obligation, I guess, to his people?
To bring up these two things, which I consider essentially fake.
I mean, the idea that anybody that you know or I know would agree with white nationalism or domestic terrorism, much less be a part of it.
It is just outstanding.
It is breathtaking to me that he said this in an inaugural speech where he's calling for unity.
I just...
I believe that the defense of freedom is a very important part
of the defense.
I believe that the defense of freedom is a very important part of the defense.
I believe that the defense of freedom is a very important part of the defense of freedom.

I wonder if that has ever happened before.
Some of you have taken some antidepressants as a result, and I totally understand that.
But now, all is good, and you can gradually...
Get off those antidepressants.
Because this is a fun hour, but it's also the most honest hour I know in the media about men and women.
To reintroduce it, I just want you to know I am neither a man fan nor a woman fan.
I am a good person fan.
And that's it.
I really don't have any bias toward either or against either sex.
It is a great, amazing fact that for every male schmuck, there's a female one.
Just the way it works.
And for every wonderful male, there is a wonderful female, and vice versa.
The trick is to find them.
And that's a tough one.
Okay, so today is an interesting and fun subject.
Now, it's first dedicated to wives.
But men are totally welcome to chime in.
So here's a very simple question so you can start calling in immediately.
What would you prefer in your marriage?
That your husband...
You're a man.
Give you gifts or not give you gifts and just say, buy what you want.
Most men think women prefer gifts.
I mean, you're really going to go a birthday without a gift?
You're going to go an anniversary without a gift?
You're going to go a Christmas without a gift?
Just to give three examples.
And it doesn't sound particularly romantic.
Buy what you want.
That was an ad for CPAP machine.
Get these ads in, you know, really subtly.
Now, I will admit that I way prefer, honey, get what you want.
Now, there is a danger to that, because if you're married to a woman who will then empty the bank account in a week, that's obviously a danger.
And that might be a reason that you prefer to bring gifts.
But a woman might prefer gifts, because that's romantic.
What, he's never going to get me a gift?
I have to admit, in my case, if you said to me, get your wife a gift, I would say, I don't know what to get her.
See, with me it's easy.
Nicaraguan Strong Cigars.
I'm very easy to get a gift to.
More classical CDs.
But, you know, that's it.
What does my wife want?
She doesn't smoke cigars.
And she listens to music on her...
On her computer.
So what am I going to get her?
She's listening.
Be very curious how she reacts.
What about you, living martyr?
You've been married 69 years.
Give him the microphone.
Give him the mic.
I have no idea what he's going to say.
He didn't even know he was going to be on.
By the way, this is his first comment of the year on air.
Take it away.
So the question is, what would I want?
Both.
What would Susie want and what would you want?
Yeah, I don't know what Susie wants.
I know what she wants, but I'm not qualified to actually provide her with it.
Because she loves jewelry, but she makes jewelry herself.
She makes beautiful jewelry.
And she's so sophisticated in her color coordination that I could spend a lot of money and buy the wrong thing.
Okay, well, all right, fair enough.
So you know what she would want, but you wouldn't know what to get.
What would she want, gifts or, Susie, just get whatever you like?
Well, I would make a distinction.
To say to somebody on their birthday or something, buy whatever you want.
No, not on their birthday.
No, it's an annual, it's an ongoing rule.
Yeah, just you can buy whatever you want whenever you want.
Yes, that's right.
Yes, okay, so I'm not sure that was clear to people.
Okay, I'm glad you had me clarify it.
So that's my policy.
You can buy whatever you want whenever you need to buy it, and just go ahead and do it.
In certain instances.
And she's happy with that.
Don't tell me.
I see.
But for myself, aside from a Starbucks card, it's very hard to buy me a gift.
I don't know what I want.
Or I know exactly what I want.
I want the new...
Apple Watch.
Okay, like she's going to buy that for me?
No.
Right.
So does she give you gifts?
No.
I have never in all the years I know you heard you even hint at a lament, you know, Susie doesn't get me gifts.
It wouldn't occur to you.
Is that fair to say?
Does it occur to any guy to say something like that?
I don't know.
My wife doesn't buy me any gifts?
That would be...
Unmasculine.
That's a nice way of saying it, yeah.
This is great.
All right, thank you.
I knew I would get gems.
By the way, it's jewelry, not jewelry.
Jewelry.
Jewelry.
You know what people get wrong?
They get jewelry wrong and realtor.
People say realtor.
It's realtor.
Anyway, that was fascinating.
Is your wife listening?
There's a good chance she's listening.
Yeah, I'm going to bounce it off her.
I'm curious.
Alright, thank you so much.
Insight into the Estrin marriage.
Yeah, you're right.
It's an interesting...
It didn't even occur to me, the point you raised.
Does a guy want gifts from his wife?
Oh, that was good.
Sean, if there were a reward room...
I would put you in it.
Did you hear what he said?
Yeah, one.
O-N-E, not W-O-N. That's right.
That's fair to say.
That was good, Sean.
You know what?
Definitely rehired for a week.
Sean is hired on a weekly basis.
So that keeps him on his toes.
You know what I mean?
It's a very good policy.
How many years have you been with me?
No, seriously, how many?
12, 13?
So, just multiply 13 by 52, and that's how many renewals.
Okay, everybody, we're going to take your calls.

Senator Lindsey Graham last night with Sean Hannity on Fox News.
I had a great meeting with Senator McConnell today.
And honestly, I don't know that Rand Paul is incorrect.
I think Rand Paul is absolutely right.
There's been all this talk about a patriot party, a third party.

Senator Tom Cotton, good morning Senator.
That's just the common-sense view of things, Hugh.
Now, I think the Constitution really couldn't be much plainer.
It says that the President, the Vice President, and civil officers of the United States shall be subject to impeachment, conviction, and removal from office.
Donald Trump is none of those things now.
And to put a punctuation mark on that, Hugh, the reports I'm hearing in the Senate is that the Democrats proposed not to have John Roberts preside over this trial because the Chief Justice only presides over the trial against the President.
And if that's, in fact, their position, they are admitting that Donald Trump is no longer the president and therefore is not susceptible to impeachment proceedings.
The whole thing, again, to me just shows how obsessive the Democrats and the media have become about Donald Trump over these last five years.

That's the question.
And guys, what policy would you like vis-a-vis gifts?
I forgot even to turn the tables.
I didn't even think what gifts.
Sean really pretty much summarized it.
That's why this show is known for its honesty.
Yeah, no, no, there might be a guy.
I don't know.

Here's a gift.
Sean is entirely right.
There's no question about it.
I mean, what would make my day if she bought me a really expensive box of cigars?
I pretty much...
It'd be odd.
I would think she's having an affair.
Right?
What prompted you to get me a box of cigars?
It really would be a strange moment.
All right, let's see what you guys and women have to say here.
Okay, let's go to Susan in Chicago, the famous Susan of Chicago.
Hi.
Hi, I'm infamous here, especially around gift-giving.
Well, I was raised to be very gracious in my receipt of the gift.
I think for practical purposes, my experience has told me that they missed the mark.
And there tends to be this romanticized view women have of, oh, here's the gift for my special birthday or special occasion.
And then it comes and you go, oh, and then all the lady friends get involved.
I think for men, the practical...
The solution is let her decide what she wants.
But if the guy is super sophisticated and has really good taste, I think it depends.
Are you married?
I'm a widow.
Oh, sorry.
You're a young widow.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm looking around.
Are you on the internet?
No, I won't do that disruptive dating because I have seen my friends go through the grief of it's like a casino gambling.
Let me go find the next bigger, better thing out there.
And I've had really good luck with meeting people through common activities that I like and through friends.
Well, did you have a good marriage with your late husband?
I did.
Did he bring you gifts or tell you what you want, honey?
He was super sophisticated.
I was spoiled.
Wait, so how did his super sophistication manifest itself?
Oh, just I was spoiled.
And that's why...
Right, I know, I get it.
How did he spoil you is what I'm asking.
Did he spoil you by telling you get what you want or by bringing you gifts?
He brought me gifts.
And I had experience in the dating world prior to that where they weren't as good in that department.
So he did have, I would put his taste way up there beyond mine.
What is the favorite gift he ever gave you?
I would say I'm pretty sentimental.
It was a painting that I had had my eyes on and he went back and...
There was a kind of a romantic story behind the painting, and he went and acquired the painting.
So that's a long-lasting gift I have to look at the memory.
Well, God bless you, and I hope you find a new love.
He got her a painting which meant a lot to her.
That's sweet.
But if a painting meant a lot to my wife, she'd buy it.
In fact...
We have the Mona Lisa up.
It was very expensive, but she was at the Louvre, and she got attached to it.
So we have the Mona Lisa up in the dining room.
A sentimental painting.
I understand that.
Alright, there was a vote for gift-giving.
All right, Karen in Greenville, South Carolina.
Hello, Karen.
Hi, how are you?
I'm well, thank you.
Good.
I had much rather get a gift from my husband because he's a great listener.
And so it turns out that the things that are my favorite things came from him or came from my children because they listen like he does.
We buy each other better than we would give ourselves.
When he was looking for a truck, he said, oh, this is all I really need.
And I said, oh, for God's sake, get what you want and get it right.
And he'll do the same thing to me.
He'll push me to treat myself better than I would treat myself normally.
So why aren't you in the get what you want, honey, category?
That doesn't sound like the gift category.
I'm sorry?
No, it is the gift category because he'll give me better than I would give myself.
Oh, so you do prefer that.
I understand.
Oh, that's an interesting...
You know what?
That's a great argument.
He will give me gifts better than I would get for myself.
That's a...
I didn't even think of that.
It's a great example of how much I learned from listeners, from callers.
Aha!
That makes sense.
Very interesting.
Here's another interesting question.
What type of gift does a person want who wants gifts?
I know exactly, in my wife's case, say the vast majority of things she buys are for the house.
She wants to make a beautiful home.
I have to actually...
Beg her to go shopping otherwise.
That's another issue.
But that was a good argument for the gift.
I'll get something better than I would for myself.
Didn't think of that.
Alright, who do we go to?
Claudia in Texas.
Alright, Claudia.
Hi.
Alright, Claudia, hold on.
Because...

Can you imagine the president of the United States feeling an obligation, I guess, to his people to bring up these two things, which I consider essentially fake?
I mean, the idea that anybody that you know or I know would agree with white nationalism or domestic terrorism, much less be a part of it.
It is just outstanding.
It is breathtaking to me that he said this in an inaugural speech where he's calling for unity.
I just...
So that's kind of where we're at.

Hi, everybody.
Dennis Prager here.
It's a very interesting topic on the male-female hour.
Would you prefer from your husband that he buy you gifts or that you just get what you want?
So far, gifts have been the preferred.
And Claudia, back to you.
Sorry for interrupting you.
Hi.
In Dallas.
Hi, Mr. Dennis.
Well, good to speak with you again.
Thank you.
So, yes, I prefer for my husband to go and buy me something, regardless of what it is, because I feel like he's putting a lot of thought into it.
Right.
Then, here's the $1,000, do whatever you want with it.
Right.
I'd rather have probably just like a box of chocolates and...
A perfume and a card, because that's putting thought into it, and I really enjoy that.
Ian, does he know that?
Yes, he does.
And he acts on it?
Yep, he sure does.
What do you do vis-a-vis him, gift-wise?
I do the most random things that you can think of.
Just to give you an example, for Christmas, I didn't know what to give, because we have everything that we need.
And he always wanted a ball python.
And I'm not a fan of snakes at all.
So because I love him so much, I went and got him a snake for Christmas.
This is one of the great calls of my career, I have to tell you.
What was that?
This is one of the great calls of my radio career.
It's absolutely phenomenal.
You got your husband a snake for Christmas.
A python.
Yes, even though I didn't like him, and I'm not 100% sure I like this name, but because he wanted it so bad, I got it from my feet.
So, I'm just curious, do you still have the python?
Yes, we do.
Does he have a name?
His name is Sam.
I love it.
It's truly a great moment.
What percentage of people would like a Python for Christmas?
Yes.
Anybody who likes snakes probably would like them.
Yeah, yeah, but have any...
Okay, fine.
Anybody who likes snakes.
Okay.
I'm dreaming of a python for Christmas.
Just like the ones I used to know.
I can't believe there is no Christmas song where the recipient receives a snake.
All right, listen, you know what?
Seriously, the key in marriage is, what is the phrase?
whatever floats your boat.
And make hay while the sun shines.
I don't know.
That's irrelevant.
I just got the phrase finally accurate yesterday.
So she prefers...
Isn't this something?
Boy, do men and women think differently.
I think the average guy say, get what you want.
But the women...
There's no right or wrong here, by the way.
There's obviously zero right or wrong.
It's just, you know, get what you want.
I'll tell you this.
I think men 99% Would love it if their wife just said, get what you want.
Right?
Okay.
Let's see here.
That was good, Claudia.
I did not really expect that.
Noelle in Clearwater, Florida.
Hello.
Hi.
Can you hear me?
Well.
Very good.
Well, I was calling to explain that my husband does have a policy that I can get what I want.
However, I'm not inclined to buy things for myself.
I tend not to do that.
So I do appreciate that he will purchase something for me for holidays and birthdays.
How does he know he wants to get you?
Well, one time he had a very clever idea.
He took me to a department store and I tried on a bunch of dresses and he watched my response to see what made me feel beautiful.
And then he selected a few of those items and secretly got them home and left them for me.
So that was kind of a nice compromise.
Yeah, that was well done.
Did he ever get you a python?
He did not, but I was thinking in my family one-third of the people would enjoy a python for Christmas.
One third?
Maybe one half.
Half of your family would like a python for Christmas?
Yeah, not me, but the other two of my children.
Maybe three of them.
I didn't know that that was such a popular thing in America.

So what's going to happen?
If she delivers the articles to us, they'll have to be disposed of under the process of the Senate.
If we could get 51 senators to dismiss...
It's all over.
There's more than a handful of Democrats praying that Joe Biden will get on the phone and call Schumer and say it's over, because they understand this is going to blow up in their face politically.
I've never felt better about the Republican Senate conference.
Being united behind the idea that what the House did was wrong in terms of process.
And I think we're going to have an overwhelming Republican vote that this second impeachment of Donald Trump is unconstitutional.
Well, that was last night.
Today, Chuck Schumer announced that Pelosi has informed him that the article of impeachment against President Trump will be delivered to the Senate on Monday, which paves the way for a trial.

Why are the Democrats spending the Senate's time in an obsessive inquest against a private citizen when we could be focused on what really matters, like getting more vaccines out to Americans or helping Americans get back to work or defending this country from the threats we face abroad?
That's just the common sense view of things, Hugh.
Now, I think the Constitution really couldn't be much plainer.

Male Female Hour, ladies and gentlemen.
This is not the Christmas season, but it is relevant to a prior call.
The subject is...
What would you prefer from your husband?
Honey, buy whatever you want when you want it?
Or getting gifts from him?
It's pretty much been in the gifts arena thus far.
I think women think it's the easy way out for the guy and he hasn't put thought in it.
If you put me in a room with absolutely nothing to read, nothing to watch, alone, and the command to me was, you can only leave this room when you've thought up the right gift for your wife, I would die of hunger.
I have no idea what gift to give her.
I just want her to get what she wants.
I mean, happily, you know, she doesn't want things of...
Well, maybe that's not fully true.
No, I'm kidding.
She doesn't.
She doesn't want anything for herself.
She just wants things for the house.
That's another great topic for a male-female hour.
What do you want most if you're a woman?
Guys do not think that way.
I don't think.
This is what I want for the house.
Because male and female are different, and women, the house is the nest.
It's a sacred and primal part of the female in most cases.
So, the vote has gone for gift-giving.
The best argument was one I hadn't thought of.
He'll give me things that are better than I would have bought for myself.
Sharon in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Hello, Sharon of Clarksville.
Hello.
I really enjoy giving my husband gifts, and I lavish them on his birthday and Christmas, and he enjoys opening them.
However, the reason I do that is My husband has to be a truck driver, and if he has a dollar in his wallet on Monday, he has that same dollar on Friday.
And the next Monday, he still has that dollar.
So he's incredibly cheap.
Wait a minute, is he a truck driver or a doctor?
He's a truck driver.
Yeah, no, when I hear cheap, I assume doctor, that's all.
Doctors are notoriously known for being cheap.
Go ahead.
So he's a cheap truck driver.
But he's generous to me.
Yes.
He's generous to me.
Overly generous to me.
And lets me buy whatever I want.
And one of the agreements we have is that he doesn't really want to know how much I spent on him.
It's an un...
You know, he enjoys the gifts, but don't tell me how much he spends on me.
Why did you get him last?
What's the most recent gift you gave him?
A chainsaw.
Which is very needed because we live on an acre with lots of trees.
We live on an acre with lots of trees, and it's been a year.
And did you give it to him for Christmas?
Actually, it was a father's sake gift, but I just got it for him recently.
It took a while to get it until I could find the one that he wanted.
So he would never have bought it for himself because he has the same dollar in his wallet.
I don't believe so.
I don't believe so.
You don't believe he would have gotten it for himself?
No.
I bought him a pair of very nice slippers too for Christmas that he would have never bought from himself and he really enjoyed them.
So what is his policy vis-a-vis you?
That's your policy vis-a-vis him.
What's his?
He's incredibly generous, and he allows me to get whatever I want for me.
So he doesn't bring you gifts?
No, however he did once, and that was one time too many.
He actually bought me a couch, a recliner, that I didn't...
I had been asking for a recliner, but it was...
To make a long story short, you should never buy your...
Your wife's furniture.
You need to let her buy the furniture.
It's not even an issue.
No, no.
It's like stepping into quicksand.
I totally agree.
Yes.
So, wait.
So, you're in the category of, I want to be told, get what you want.
Yes.
Yes.
Another vote.
Oh, wait.
Oh, no.
So, wait.
No.
Usually, the women have voted for gifts.
Okay.
In your case, it's the other.
There you go.
Now that I think of it, it's a little painful when I hear this.
I hope my wife is listening on the chainsaw issue.
Right?
How often have I said to you, I wish it would be a chainsaw?
Because I just don't feel right spending it on myself.
I really hope she's listening.
Not to mention a python.

Is it brief?
Very, very brief.
Yes.
I saw a man in my lobby, and he looks just like you.

Mm-hmm.
You said a man in an elevator said he looks like me and he's wearing a mask?
Well, you know, the mask for the COVID. No, I know that.
I didn't think it was a mask as a burglar.
Yeah, me too.
Wait, I know this is a bit odd.
How does he look like me if most of his face is covered?
Well, you know, his nose is showing, and he's tall, and he has the same hair like you, and he was so pleased because he had heard it before.
He told me he had heard it before.
All right, stay on with me.

Do you agree with that?
Well, I certainly hope so, and I'll do everything I can to make it so.
But let's remember, Hugh, even if it's just an opening bid, there's an element of kabuki theater here.
Joe Biden may be expecting some willing Republican accomplices to swoop in at the last minute with a big leap of enforcement, like money for drones or something at the southern border.
We should be anticipating that...
We should reject it out of hand right now.
Republicans should not pass an amnesty-first bill that puts an amnesty in place for 15 million illegal immigrants while also increasing guest workers' visas at a time when we still have 10 million people out of work.

The question is, would you rather get gifts from your husband or for him to say, buy what you want, when you want?
What's your story, Georgia?
I prefer the selectfulness and the effort of buying a gift for me.
I appreciate all that.
But if he doesn't have good taste, and I can't use it, and it's a waste of money, and I have to ask him to return it, I feel bad.

What do we make of Joe Biden occupying the White House?
Because I.
I have a lot of thoughts on it.
Well, my main question is what are your thoughts of where we are now?
We are in the midst of a new administration that is going to radically change every single piece of government that they touch.
We have seen in the first 24 hours the signing of some 17 executive orders that have stopped the border wall construction.
They have renewed visa permits.
Coming from countries where people cannot be vetted like Syria and Iran and Yemen.
They have engaged our enemies in a completely different way.
I mean by that China and Iran and Russia.
They have already spent tax dollars that you and I have paid to help fund abortions that have already happened in other countries outside of our borders now.
These are all things that they came in on day one.
Signed 17 different pieces of paper and are already transforming American policy in all of these different areas into a very different direction.
But this is obviously what America wanted, is it not?
That's what we're told.
That's what we have evidently walked through the process to approve of.
And the question now becomes...
What do Americans think about what they've gotten?
Are they going to have buyer's remorse?
If people thought that the unity that we heard so much about yesterday was going to be anything that resembled actual unity, they were mistaken.

School board in San Francisco is voted to do away with the names of dozens of schools in the district that some have deemed hold offensive histories.
Among the schools set to have their names changed are Lowell High School, Lincoln High, Washington High, Roosevelt Middle.
Roosevelt.
I assume it's Theodore Roosevelt.
John Muir Elementary.
What's wrong with John Muir?
was John the environmentalist yeah there was something about him something I don't know I don't know something Indians or something I don't know he oh yeah He came out for the protection of white trees.
Yeah, that's right.
I think that was it.
I think that was the issue.
Feinstein Elementary School.
What's wrong with Dianne Feinstein?
She's like one of the leading liberals of the last half century.
Isn't that amazing?
They called him a racist?
They made derogatory comments about black and indigenous people.
Well, Feinstein Elementary is named after Senator Dianne Feinstein.
Democrat California is among the longest serving members of the upper chamber.
It's a message to our families, our students, and our community, said board member Mark Sanchez, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
It's not just symbolic, it's a moral message.
Mark Sanchez is morally superior to Abraham Lincoln.
What a great man.
What a great arrogant SOB. Wow.
That's the product of our college system.
Lincoln's name was recommended for removal from one of the city's high schools due to the reported treatment of Native Americans.
Oh.
Some community members voiced opposition to the move.
I must admit there are reasons to support this resolution, but I can't, local resident John Barish told the newspaper.
These are not decisions that should be made in haste.
I assure you they were not made in haste, sir.
The left has been desiring to destroy this country for half a century.
Debate over the names of schools in San Francisco has been going on for some time.
In December, see, it's not in haste.
In December, a committee's recommendation to rename many of the schools drew some backlash, including from former President Trump, who at the time called it so ridiculous and unfair.
I miss that.
Many of his tweets were over the top and very injurious to him.
But as I said the entire time, everybody's a package.
And he did so much good.
I had no choice but to tolerate the tweets.
London Breed, the city's African American mayor.
Did you know that?
That the mayor of San Francisco was named London Breed?
Is it a male or a female?
Have you ever heard of a person named London?
I knew someone named Newark, but I never knew anybody named London.
Yeah, person.
Yeah, person.
Remember that guy?
Newark Cohen.
He's a member of the synagogue.
He's a Torah reader.
And now we call on Newark to read this week's portion.
Why do you give a child?
I'm not being cute.
This is obviously not against this person.
He didn't give himself or she didn't give her.
Is it a male or female?
Please tell me because I'd like to know he or she.
But why would a parent name a child London?
It is a female?
Okay.
What do you mean appears to be a female?
Wait.
Oh, okay.
So that's what you mean.
You don't know that that's the chosen pronoun.
So based on that, you have already assigned her a sex.
Anyway, London, all right, so yes, female.
London Breed, the city's African-American mayor, has previously voiced opposition to renaming the schools, saying the board should instead focus on reopening their buildings to students and dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.
Exactly what you said into my earphones.
It's offensive to me as someone who went to our public schools, who loves our public schools, and who knows how those years in the classroom are what lifted me out of poverty and into college, Breed said last fall.
It's offensive to our kids who are staring at screens day after day instead of learning and growing with their classmates and friends.
Did I ever think I would agree with a mayor on San Francisco about anything?
She's right.
It's not offensive, it's criminal.
The teachers' unions are a disgrace to children.
The greatest harm to children being done in the United States of America today is being done by teachers because of their unions and because they go along with the unions.
That's a fact.
I spoke to you about the Chicago Teachers' Union the other day.
CDC had another report about how rare it is to have a child-to-teacher transmission of COVID. And even then, your chances of being seriously hurt or killed are minuscule.

I believe it's a propaganda network that is part of the Democratic Party at this point.
But you don't want to shut it down.
I'm not shutting you down.
I can make fun of them all the time.
These are ridiculous partisan activists.
I mean, here, work with me here, Gorka, on this one.
You think Jake Tapper is a Democrat?
You think Wolf Blitzer is a Democrat?
You think Don Lemon is a Democrat?
You think Jim Acosta is a Democrat?
You think Brian Stelter is a Democrat?
We can keep going with this.
They all work for Democrat congressmen.
I mean, come on.
But the point is, I'm not telling you that they should be shut down.
I'm not trying to get their license yanked off.
So I think your point is right.
We need to fight to stay on those platforms, of course, and fight where the people are to get the new people.
But I think we also have to find our own places that we are going to be protected.
That's exactly why I started Locals.com.
The thing I'm super curious about, fight day.
What does your day look like?
That day must be the longest day of the year.
It feels like, honestly, like a minute is like two days.
Come on, let's get this over with, right?
Do you sleep well the night before?
Nah.
Yeah, usually I'm not sleeping, you know.
You're in your hotel room going through.
Yeah.
And you just got done doing like the weight cut.
So, you know, you just lost 20 pounds and you're completely depleted.
You took all the salts out of your body.
You're dehydrated because you're pretty much water loading and then you take all the water and the weight off you and you're just completely dehydrated.
And you weigh in the day before the fight.
You do weigh in the day before the fight.
So you got 24 hours to rehydrate and then you fight.
So like that whole process is like you're rehydrating.
You're trying to put the right nutrients in, but you can't put them in too quick because if you put them in too quick, your stomach and your system's not going to take it and you're going to throw up.
So do you have a nutritionist that comes with you that helps monitor all that?
Yeah, I have a nutritionist.
That's fascinating.
So it's not just being able to psychologically prepare.
You have to, because you're just cutting, you're cutting, you're cutting.
You got to make the weight.
And if you don't, that's just, you know, you're done.
There's no fight, right?
There's a fight, but then you have to give up 30% of your purse.
So if you're fighting for a million dollars, you got to give up $300,000.
Have you ever not made the weight?
Never.
I'm a true professional.
I'm a businessman.
When I sign a contract, I'm a man of my word.
You know, I'm going to show up and I'm going to make weight and I'm going to handle my business like a businessman.
Wow.
And so then the day of the fight, what time do you wake up?
What does that look, what do you do?
Do you watch TV? Do you just say like, let's get this day over with as quickly as possible?
Usually when I wake up, I'll have a bunch of carbs, like some pancakes, because I've been depleting myself low carbs for a couple weeks.
So I'll have some pancakes, I'll have some eggs, some turkey sausage, some healthy stuff.
And then it's just visualizing, watching a little bit of tapes to see what areas the guy's good in, to see what his strengths are and to see what his weaknesses are.
And then it's just really just being by myself.
Making sure it's just my thoughts and my feelings and my emotions.
I don't want to hear what anybody else has to say.
I want to be selfish in that moment.

And I think it's in large measure due to vitamin D, zinc, Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin.
All right, everybody.
So they're taking down the names of Lincoln and Washington.
Even the mayor, the African-American, I say black, the black mayor of San Francisco, female, leftist, is opposed to it.
What she says is offensive right now is the closing of the schools.
It's very depressing to think about how teachers are hurting kids deliberately.
It is really something, and it is deliberate.
There's no way around it.
We won't teach is deliberate, correct?
You may have all the excuses you like, cowardice being a big part of it.
How can kids respect, you wouldn't show up?
You thought you would die, teacher?
And I'm supposed to look up to you?
It's mind-boggling.
Mind-boggling.
Task Force recommended Feinstein's name be taken off the list of 44 schools set to be renamed, a recommendation the board ultimately ignored.

Oof.

Justice Brandeis, one of the most wonderful judges and most liberal in American history, after whom Brandeis University is named, he voted with the majority on behalf of eugenics to forcibly sterilize.

Because they called her an idiot.
And that she was the daughter of an idiot.
Those are the terms they used in those days.
1930s, I think it was.
Caltech, they took down the name of essentially the founder of Caltech because he was for eugenics.
Will Brandeis University do that?
Change its name?
Of course not.
It's worth too much money to call it Brandeis.
Same with Yale.
They're not going to drop the name Yale.
They're phonies.
Yep, so that's San Francisco for you.
It shows you that this is all I want meaning, and meaning comes from being an activist.
If I told you that somebody were an activist, wouldn't you assume they're on the left?
Do you know any conservative activists?
They exist.
But the ratio of left-wing activists to right-wing activists is probably 50 to 1. Because people on the right have a life.
Their life isn't devoted to changing the country.
After all, we're called conservatives.
We want to conserve it.
That's correct, because it's a good place.
That's why.
Good for blacks and good for Asians and good for Pacific Islanders and good for whites and good for women.

Largely unreported, of course, in the West.

Fauci has told us that even if you're vaccinated, you wear a mask.

Wow.
Skyrocketing.
Xenophobia against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
This gives these people meaning.
This is what they're fighting.
Pacific Islander xenophobia.
Whoa, this country suffers from anything.
It is.
Pacific Islander xenophobia.
It's amazing.
It's a good place, America.
They're ruining it.
And that is pretty shocking.
The President: Trending now on the Hugh Hewitt Show.
Senator Tom Cotton, good morning Senator. good morning Senator.
And by the time we get around to that trial in a few more days, that's going to be an even stranger proposition.
Why are the Democrats spending the Senate's time in an obsessive inquest against a private citizen when we could be focused on what really matters, like getting more vaccines out to Americans or helping Americans get back to work or defending this country from threats we face abroad?
That's just the common-sense view of things, Hugh.
Now, I think the Constitution really couldn't be much plainer.
It says that...
The president, the vice president, and civil officers of the United States shall be subject to impeachment, conviction, and removal from office.
Donald Trump is none of those things now.
And to put a punctuation mark on that view, the reports I'm hearing in the Senate is that the Democrats proposed not to have John Roberts preside over this trial because the chief justice only presides of the trial against the president.
And if that's in fact their position, they are admitting...
That Donald Trump is no longer the president and therefore is not susceptible to impeachment proceedings.
The whole thing, again, to me just shows how obsessive the Democrats and the media have become about Donald Trump over these last five years.

Trending now on the Eric Matias Show. - What do we make of Joe Biden occupying the White House?
Because I have a lot of thoughts on it.
Well, my main question is, what are your thoughts of where we are now?
We are in the midst of a new administration that is going to radically change every single piece of government that they touch.
We have seen in the first 24 hours the signing of some 17 executive orders that have stopped the border wall construction.
They have renewed visa permits coming from countries where people cannot be vetted, like Syria and Iran and Yemen.
They have engaged our enemies in a completely different way.
I mean by that China and Iran and Russia.
They have already spent tax dollars that you and I have paid to help fund abortions that have already happened in other countries outside of our borders now.
These are all things that they came in on day one, signed 17 different pieces of paper, and are already transforming American policy in all of these different areas into a very different direction.
But this is obviously what America wanted, is it not?
That's what we're told.
That's what we have evidently walked through the process to approve of.
And the question now becomes, what do Americans think about what they've gotten?
And are they going to have buyer's remorse?
If people thought that the unity that we heard so much about yesterday was going to be anything that resembled actual unity, they were mistaken.

So listen to this about Denmark.
Danish Prime Minister sets target of zero asylum seekers to protect social cohesion.
Denmark's Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has set a target of zero new asylum seekers as her government's new goal.
Citing concerns that too many migrants will affect the social cohesion of the country.
The Danish Prime Minister stated her goal on Friday at the Danish Folketing, I assume that that's the parliament, saying, quote, Zero asylum seekers, but we can set out the vision that we also did before the elections, namely that we want a new asylum system and then do what we can to introduce it.
The Social Democrat leader, she's Social Democrat.
You understand the Democratic Party in the United States is to the left of most Social Democrats in Europe.
It's much closer to a Communist Party.
The Social Democrat leader went on to add that too few past politicians had done enough to integrate migrants and said that they had made too few demands on them.
Can you imagine saying that in the United States?
We have made too few demands on migrants?
According to the broadcaster, Prime Minister Fredrickson stated that migrants must be able to support themselves financially and adapt to Danish values.
I guess they're white supremacist values, right?
Because if you speak American values, it's white supremacist.
Are Danish values white supremacist?
I'm sure they would be called that.
We must be careful that there are not too many coming to our country, otherwise our cohesion cannot exist.
It's already challenged, she said.
This is unbelievable.
Unbelievable.
Last year, Prime Minister Fredrickson highlighted crimes committed by non-Western migrant men.
Who might those be?
And promised her government would crack down on crime.
One in five, this is a quote from her, one in five young men from non-Western backgrounds who were born in 1997 Had breached the penal code before the age of 21. One in five, she said.
It's nothing new and that's the problem.
It's been going on for too many years.
Girls are called derogatory things because they are Danish.
Our girls are subjected to social control because they have become too Danish.
Or girls, not our girls, sorry.
Or girls are subjected, that is migrant daughters, speaking about Muslim immigrants, obviously, are subjected to social control because they have become too Danish.
A sausage cart in Branshoi is attacked with firecrackers because it sells pork.
Now, who might do that, my friends?
Are Jews doing that?
Have you ever heard of a Jew attacking?
A place that sold pork?
Jews don't eat pork.
Well, obviously she's talking about Muslim migrants here.
Well, it becomes clear in a moment.
Earlier this week, Minister for Immigration and Integration Matthias Tesfaye spoke about the need to confront political Islam in Denmark, saying, Denmark doesn't have to adapt to Islam.
Islam must adapt to Denmark.
Can you imagine a politician saying that in the United States?
America does not have to adapt to Islam.
Islam has to adapt to the United States.
Can you imagine that?
Of course not.
The person would be called a bigot.
Their Twitter account would be closed down.
And this is the Minister of Immigration in the Social Democrat government of Denmark.
It's astonishing how far radicalized we are compared to Europe.
Liberal Party immigration spokesman Mads Fuchlede agreed with Tesfaye's statements and added, if we didn't have immigration from Muslim countries, we wouldn't have integration problems either.
In 2020, Denmark took in just 531 asylum seekers.
But its neighbor, Sweden, took in 9,621.

Speaking of being outspent, it happened again.
That's why you don't see any stories on CNN and NBC Heehaw about how much money is being raised for campaigns because they didn't have to concede that one of the reasons their candidate did as well as he did is because you guys outspent the Republicans two to one.
Trump raised $596 million.
Dramatically outspent on every level.
Two to one.
And in some of the battleground states, especially in the waning days of the campaign, even more than that.
Now, all of a sudden, money is not corrosive anymore.
Have you noticed that?
All of a sudden, nobody wants campaign finance laws anymore.
Money is not bad.
It's not unfair anymore for one side to outspend the other.
When did that happen?
Incredible.
All of a sudden, money that we used to think was dark and... ...the world that we used to think was dark and dark and dark.
So, we're going to have to go back to the world.
We're going to have to go back to the world.
and I'm happy you are with me.
Dennis Prager here.
Such a wonderful place, America, and the left loathes the good.
I'm going to go to the next one.
It's so fascinating.
There's something rotten in human nature and people either give in or they fight it.
Religious kids are taught to fight their nature.
Secular kids are not.
Everything has exceptions.
Every rule has exceptions, but rules are either true or false, and they help you understand the world in which we live.
I've said to you, I've said all of my...
Public life.
The biggest difference between religious and secular education is that in religious schools, Jewish and Christian, you are taught to fight yourself.
And in secular schools, you're taught to fight society.
It produces a very different human being in America.
We who are conservative or called conservative, we understand the fragility of civilization.
That you can tear down with great speed what was built with great effort.
Right?
One bomb takes down a building in a few seconds.
It took a long time to build that building.
The left makes nothing.
It destroys everything.
The only thing the left makes is bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger government.
Until the state just drowns out everything else.
My daily appeal to you to get your kids out of school, whether it's private or public.
It's often reported.
Dennis Prager advocates taking your kids out of public school.
I don't know why I make it clear every time.
There's no difference between most public schools and most private schools.
But reporting what I say irresponsibly is a profession.
Take your kids out of school or you won't have a kid when they grow up.
Do you understand?
The danger you have of the school alienating your child from you is tremendous.
You are indeed playing Russian roulette, except the gun has more bullets than in Russian roulette.
This is a very tough thing to do.
Because it's easy to simply send your kid to school, go to work, do what you have to do, then they come back.
And I understand it.
I did it.
But I did it with religious school.
I had more faith that they would actually be educated rather than indoctrinated in values that I care.
They were partially indoctrinated.
I fully acknowledge it.
That's what I've always said.
What is the difference between a Christian seminary and a college, an American college?
What is the difference?
The difference is the Christian seminary is honest, the college is dishonest.
The Christian seminary says our purpose is to produce committed Christians.
The college does not admit our purpose is to...
Produce committed leftists.
If the New York Times announced that its agenda is to produce print favorable to the left, I would never bother attacking it.
Right?
I don't attack Slate.
It announces we're on the left.
End of issue.
It's the lie that the New York Times perpetrates that it It intends to bring to you, as best as possible, objective news.
That's what's dishonest.
Same with the colleges.
Just admit.
Give us $50,000, we'll give you a kid who has contempt for your values.
Same with elementary school and high school, even if they're free.
Give us your kid, we'll give you a spoiled brat.
An ingrate.
You get a degree in ingratitude in the United States.
Ingratitude for being American.
Yeah, what's your BA in?
Ingratitude.
Wouldn't that be the most honest statement?
Yeah, I got a PhD in ingratitude.
Yeah, because the more you stay in school, the more you have contempt for this country that has enabled you to spend so much time getting a PhD in an arena.
That is useless to society, like gender studies.
What was the article I cited yesterday?
Where was it?
The professor of gender studies at UC Riverside?
That heterosexual marriage is a danger.
It's a tragedy?
That was the word?
Yeah.
That's right.
This woman...
Would have done much better for society had she stayed home and raised good kids.
Or had she waited on tables.
That a society has so much money that it could employ people as professors of gender studies.
These people should thank God on their knees every day that they're making a living doing nonsense.
That's a new one.
I like it.
So, what level is your degree in ingratitude?
I've got a master's.
I ain't got a master's in gratitude.

The focus should be on getting Americans back to work and getting our borders secure and enforcing immigration laws at the place of employment.
This bill, by the way, is not just lacking in enforcement.
All right, y'all.
Dennis Prager here.
And amazingly, it's the final segment.
A mini-death.
The final segment of the show.
The year 2020 saw the largest percentage increase in homicides in American history.
I brought this to your attention.
It has to be stated again.
All because of the left and the attacks on police.
I don't mean the physical attacks.
Just the attacks.
Why would you proactively police when the chances of you losing your profession, your reputation, and your income are so high?
Murder was up nearly 37%, a sample of 57 large and medium-sized cities.
At least 2,000 more Americans, most of them black, were killed in 2020 than in 2019. And that's with the lockdown.
That's with people staying home.
And now the criminal justice policy supported by President Biden promised to exacerbate the current crime wave.
The local murder increases in 2020 were startling.
95% in Milwaukee, 78% in Louisville, Kentucky, 74% in Seattle, 72% in Minneapolis, 62% in New Orleans, 58% in Atlanta.
Dozens of children overwhelmingly black were killed in drive-by shootings.
They were slain in their beds, living rooms, and strollers.
They were struck down at barbecues in their yards and malls, in their parents' cars, and at birthday parties.
Fifty-five children were killed in Chicago in 2020, 17 in St. Louis, 11 in Philadelphia.
In South L.A. alone, 40 children were shot, some nonlethally, through September.
Why this mayhem?
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch expresses the conventional wisdom because of the economic, civic, and interpersonal stress, unquote, from the coronavirus pandemic.
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot blamed pandemic-related, quote, frustration, anger, trauma, and mental health challenges.
But crime fell during the first months of the pandemic shutdown, both in the U.S. and globally.
Only at the end of May did that trend reverse itself.
And only in the U.S., thanks to a surge in drive-by shootings.
Eighteen people were murdered in Chicago on May 31st, the city's most violent day in 60 years, according to University of Utah Law Professor Paul Castle.
Systemic racism.
The left, with its opposition to police, has caused a lot of death, To ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine has caused a lot of death.
