Now the last little wrinkle in all of this, and you can see this, His face has been identified from video inside the storming of Congress.
Not only is his face completely And you're listening to the Dennis Prager Show.
I'm going to be very open with you.
I'm always open with you, but even more so right this moment.
When I was listening to McClintock and Jordan, two congressmen, and the rational and powerful talk that they gave about this anti-American farce, Of an impeachment of a president the week before he's leaving office.
I got strength from listening to them.
And then I thought, I wonder if I, not wonder, I'm certain that I provide that service to many of you.
It gave me a way of looking outside myself.
To hear what these people had to say and the effect that it had on me.
You're living at a time, and it's very easy to be seduced when all around you, two and two is five.
It's very powerful to hear someone forcefully, rationally, calmly say, no, no, no.
It's always been four, and it remains four.
Two and two is four.
The United States is not a racist cesspool.
All whites are not racist.
There was a thousand times more violence from the left than from the right in the past year.
These are just basic truths.
And we are bathing in the lies.
Is there a Republican congressman speaking this moment?
Alright, Matt Gaetz?
Bless you.
Wow.
...burned, police stations burned, our businesses were shattered, and they said nothing. Or they cheerlead for it, and they fundraised for it, and they allowed it to happen in the greatest country in the world. Now some have cited the metaphor that the president lit the flame.
Well, they lit actual flames.
Actual fires.
Time inspired.
There will be order in the house.
The gentleman from Ohio, do you wish to reserve your time?
That's exactly right.
It's fraud.
It's all a fraud.
Decline.
The decline of the Democratic Party into demagoguery and lying leftism.
Well, that's what it is.
It's important that you know that because fewer and fewer places allow these things to be said.
Cumulus has already told its hosts what to say.
That's an amazing thing.
I wonder if they're obeying.
Well, it's gotten that far.
Talk show hosts being told that they can't speak their minds.
Yes, indeed.
All right, everybody, let me take some calls here.
Candace in Los Angeles, California.
Hello.
Hello, Mr. Prager.
I am the one who introduced you and Rabbi Boteach, two years back at Nesach.
Oh, yes.
I have a phone spot for you.
Yes, hi.
Okay, Mr. Prager, quick question.
My husband and I are deeply rooted in Los Angeles.
All our family's here.
He's a physician.
He has his practice.
I'm a piano teacher.
I have my students.
Our whole family's here.
I am so upset with politics in California that I just want to pick up and move to Florida.
But I don't know if it's the right decision, and I wanted to know your input.
Except for the friends and relatives, of course it's the right decision.
The left has done to California what it did to universities and to the arts and to basketball and football.
It ruins everything it touches.
I never thought California could be ruined, and they have done it.
Fecal matter.
You have to step over human feces in San Francisco.
They're a tsunami of destruction.
That people vote Democrat is astonishing to me.
Anyway, I am the exact same position you are.
I don't have family here.
That's true.
But I do have a world here.
It's not...
I mean, everyone...
Just about everyone in my life, other than my kids and their families, is here.
And it's very, very hard to leave.
I would love to leave, to be honest.
And ultimately, we may be forced, but you're young.
I don't have an answer for you because of the relatives and friends question.
Now, obviously, you'll make new friends in Florida, although that's an odd way to regard friends.
No friend is substitutable.
Of course.
But, I mean, you can maintain contact, but it's not the same as being there.
So I can't answer you.
I will only ask you one thing.
I didn't know you were a piano teacher.
Uh-huh.
Yeah, I'm a piano teacher.
So you're into music?
I am, and I enjoy your...
I love your taste in music, and I know you love classical music and your music book.
So I've always liked that about you.
Yes.
Well, I hope one day I could...
But I have a question.
Mr. Finger.
Do you see a brighter future in Florida than California?
Yes, if they keep electing Republicans.
I was just there.
Read my column, The Sovietization of California.
What it felt like last month to fly from Florida to California.
It was the first time since I moved here in 1976 that I rued coming back to California.
Newsom and the Democrats have continued to ruin it.
The freedom I felt in Florida.
I stood up in a restaurant in Florida, in Fort Lauderdale.
I stood up in a restaurant, and I took a picture of people eating inside the restaurant.
So I was recognized by somebody who was dining there.
He came over to me and said, Oh, so you're taking a picture of people eating inside a restaurant, eh?
He knew exactly what I was doing.
He knew who I was.
He knew I lived in California.
That this was something to bring back a souvenir of Florida.
People could eat inside a restaurant.
I went on Fox News.
I was on Fox Sunday.
I meant to play that for you.
I was on Fox and Friends Sunday.
I was on Fox the week before.
And I had mentioned, I had asked my question.
Why can you eat without a mask two inches from someone in an airplane?
You can't eat without a mask six feet from someone in a restaurant.
We all know the reason.
It has nothing to do with health.
It's because the Democrats don't give a damn about small businesses, but they do give a damn about American, Delta, and United.

I'm so stunned to see this.
You can be saddened to see it, like I am, but if you're surprised that you're seeing this, Then you have done an awful job governing and legislating.
This should not be a surprise to anyone that actually understands what is happening in this country.
And this is beyond politics at this moment.
This is beyond Republican and Democrat.
This is a multi-institutional...
Problem that is happening in America.
So I want to get into this as we lead.
We're waiting for the President of the Senate, the Vice President, to reconvene the session.
As we promised you, we're going to be covering this live tonight.
And we covered it all throughout the day.
What drove those people to scale the walls of Congress today, of which I don't support?
But why did they do that?
The sloppy and the lazy analysis that is being given is because President Trump told them to do that.
That's wrong.
That's not true.
First of all, he didn't tell them to do that.
But that is a simpleton argument.
They did that because they don't trust their system.
That's why.
I just heard Jonathan Turley on Fox News, who I think is a very smart guy, and he said, how could these people not trust their system?

And the president is addicted to social media and to television and to division, and he's been lying to the American people for eight straight weeks and planned it long before, no matter what was happening in any state.
He was going to say the election was being stolen and the people needed to rise up.
He said repeatedly to go wild when you get to the Capitol.
They went to the Capitol and some went wild.
Let's be clear here.
There are 30,000 people here.
The vast majority of them are honorable, freedom-loving people.
The vast majority of them, but not all of them.
Do you think he intended for the riot and the occupation, the insurrection to happen?
I think Donald Trump wanted there to be massive division, and he was telling people there was a path by which he was going to stay in office after January 20th.
That was never true, and he wanted chaos on television.
I don't have any idea what was in his heart about what he wanted to happen once they were in the Capitol, but he wanted there to be chaos, and I'm sure you've also had conversations with other senior White House officials, as I have.
I have.
As this was unfolding on television, Donald Trump was walking around the White House.
Confused about why other people on his team weren't as excited as he was as you had rioters pushing against Capitol Police trying to get into the building.
That said, should he be impeached and removed?
I think that there are a lot of questions that we need to get to the bottom of about why the National Guard was not deployed.
I want to understand more about why the National Guard wasn't deployed when there had been clear calls for it.
And then why that delay happened.
So there are more things that I need to understand before I get to a conclusory judgment about that.
But I think that the question of was the president derelict in his duty, that's not an open question.

He wanted people to come to D.C. Nobody said, uh-oh, five people are going to be killed because these guys are going to assault the Capitol building.
Oh, my goodness.
Nobody said that.
The most severe, pathological, hateful Trump hater.

Ohio was recognized.
Madam Speaker, I yield myself such time as I may consume.
The gentleman's recognized.
Thank you, Madam Speaker.
Nineteen minutes.
Nineteen minutes.
Four years ago on Inauguration Day, January 20th, 2017, 19 minutes into President Trump's administration, at 12.19pm, the Washington Post headline was, Campaign to Impeach President Trump Has Begun.
And now, with just one week left, they're still trying.
In seven days there will be a peaceful transfer of power just like there has been every other time in our country.
But Democrats are going to impeach President Trump again.
This doesn't unite the country.
There's no way this helps the nation deal with the tragic and terrible events of last week that we all condemn.
And Republicans have been consistent.
We've condemned all the violence all the time.
We condemned it last summer.
We condemned it last week.
We should be focused on bringing the nation together.
Instead, Democrats are going to impeach the president for a second time one week, one week before he leaves office.
Why?
Why?
Politics and the fact that they want to cancel the president.
The president who cut taxes, the president who reduced regulations, the president prior to COVID had the greatest economy, lowest unemployment in 50 years, the president who got us out of the Iran deal, put the embassy in Jerusalem, brought hostages home from North Korea, put three great justices on the Supreme Court, gave us a new NAFTA agreement, the Abraham Accords, the COVID vaccine, and who built the wall.
It's about politics.
This is about getting the president of the United States.
They spied on his campaign before he was elected.
Nineteen minutes into his presidency, they started the impeachment push.
Three-year Mueller investigation, 19 lawyers, 40 agents, 500 witnesses, 2,500 subpoenas, $40 million to find nothing.
Impeachment round one, based on an anonymous whistleblower with no first-hand knowledge, who was biased against the president and who worked for Joe Biden.
And now it's impeachment round two.
It's always been about getting the president, no matter what.
It's an obsession, an obsession that has now broadened.
It's not just about impeachment anymore, it's about canceling, as I've said.
Canceling the President and anyone that disagrees with them.
The Ayatollah can tweet, the President can't.
Democrats can object on January 6, 2017, but Republicans aren't allowed to object on January 6, 2021. Democrats say Antifa is a myth.
Republicans condemn all violence all the time.
The double standard has to stop.
That was a good one.
And frankly, the attack on the First Amendment has to stop.
That's right.
Bless his soul.
Do you have a functioning First Amendment when the cancel culture only allows one side to talk?
Yep.
That's right.
That's right.
That's what it is.
Important for you to hear this.
Thank you.
The power of repetition is...
Astonishing.
The tsunami of lies of the left.
The president incited violence.
Insurrection.
Every white is a racist.
Men give birth.
Understand?
Tsunami of lies.
There is nothing, I am convinced now, there is nothing that repeated enough.
Will not be believed by a substantial percentage of the population.
I read to you yesterday this very sobering thing to read about how young people think.
Let me see if I still have that in front of me.
It was a study done by one of the One of the think tanks for universities.
It was not done by conservatives.
That's the thing you should know.
Let's see.
I should have that out.
Here we go, yeah.
Thompson Center Research from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
Nearly 40% of students believe the government should restrict the speech of climate change deniers.
Over 50% of students believe the government should restrict the speech of racially insensitive people.
63% believe the government should punish hate speech.
Okay?
Just a few of the beliefs of young people in the United States.
These things would have barely registered 50 years ago.
Free speech was a given.
That's correct.

Scene of how these people breach the capitol building hoping nobody gets hurt hoping the officers are able to maintain order hoping there's no destruction of valuable You know artifacts and things like that in that building How this looks by but from terrorists that they're saying how easy it is to break.
That's what I'm thinking about It never occurred to me go.
You know what Larry?
I Wonder what would have happened had these people been largely black people I guess I had other things on my mind, but if you want to play that game, let's play that game.
Holding in my baby brown libertarian fingers, article from the Wall Street Journal, April 27, 2016, headline, This study found race matters in police shootings, but the results may surprise you.
And the article, very detailed, I urge you to go get it yourself, we have it up on LarryElder.com, and it goes through a very, Thorough analysis of how studies, analyses, research back to the 70s show the police more hesitant, more reluctant to pull the trigger on black suspects than on white suspects.
Washington State, over a series of years, three studies, all of which reached the same conclusion, officers were three times more hesitant to pull the trigger against a black suspect.
So, you want to play this game about what would have happened had the protesters been black?
the likelihood is they would have pulled back even more and the building would have been trashed more.
Governor, you were the first of the major you were the first of the major Republican contenders in 2016 to endorse the President.
Do you regret that decision?
I do not, Hugh.
I do not because I knew when I dropped out of that race and then after the South Carolina primary that none of the other people on that stage were going to beat Donald Trump.
He was going to be the Republican nominee, and I was completely committed, in fact, in some ways desperate, to make sure that Hillary Clinton was not the next president of the United States.
And when you look at the tax cuts, the regulation cuts, most importantly, the judicial nominees, you know, the problem is that the president's behavior at times has obscured his accomplishment.
Oh, I agree.
The JCPOA and the Abraham Accords, there's a great list.
Will that now always have appended to it, as Nixon has resignation appended to him, the riot and insurrection of Wednesday?
Hi, everyone.
I'm Dennis Prager, and I'm going to go to more calls.
I really want you to have a chance to speak out because it's suppressed so much unprecedentedly in the United States.
But a thought occurred to me during the break.
I don't know why.
Specific triggered it.
Thank God, not in my own immediate family.
But it is hard to imagine, and I root for people to overcome this, but it is hard to imagine having a left-wing individual in your circle of friends or in your family And there not being some rift.
I'm not talking about liberals, I'm talking about leftists.
Liberals you should love up.
And make the case that you're not the enemy, the left is.
Which is true.
It's an easy case to make.
But it's hard to imagine that people supporting the impeachment and you Can live in loving peace.
We see everything differently.
It's unprecedented.
It's not like we see things.
We don't even...
It's not like...
I'm conflating two ideas, but they're very similar.
It is not as if you both perceive the same reality and simply...
Have a different assessment.
Our realities differ.
And I know for a fact that my reality is more real than the left's.
Because I read the left's.
They believed that there was Russian collusion with the Trump campaign.
They believe that it is hateful to say men do not give birth.
They believe that it is a healthy thing to divide people, not by their character, but by their race.
That it is a good thing to have a black dormitory.
So it's a world of perceptions, not only a world of what to do, it's not the prescriptions that are only differing.
It is the reality that is different.
Okay.
I mean, thousands of left-wing health people, doctors, epidemiologists, and others said it was a health benefit to demonstrate on behalf of anti-racism.
Remember that?
The same people who said don't congregate with one another said, ah, but there's a health benefit To demonstrating against racism.
Science has been crapped on by the left.
The New England Journal of Medicine had a piece on the transgender which had nothing to do with science.
Nothing.
The shame on the medical profession for not advocating Anything to people.
What do they advocate in order to either prevent or mitigate getting COVID? Isn't that what doctors are supposed to do?
What should you do?
They wait till you get sick and get hospitalized to treat you.
Why aren't they at the very least telling Americans take a lot of vitamin D and zinc?
Why don't they just say that?
It's been a disgrace to the medical profession.
A disgrace!
Not to mention its antipathy to hydroxychloroquine, one of the safest drugs in the history of drug use, which for the record I have been taking now for half a year as a prophylaxis.
So should I get COVID, it will be much milder.
Twitter does not allow Dr. Zelenko, who has saved countless lives with hydroxychloroquine and zinc.
New York doctor, Vladimir Zelenko.
Twitter does not allow him to even put out what he has done.
The amount of freedom of speech in this country, Being suppressed by the left, especially Twitter, just cesspool, has caused people to die.
The medical profession has caused people to die.
Now, there you go.
There's a different reality, right?
My reality is that the medical profession has killed a lot of Americans because of its political, not medical, opposition to hydroxychloroquine.
In the early stages of COVID. Your reality is, the medical profession is doing a service to Americans, depriving them of that drug, which is completely safe.
To the extent that any drug could be completely safe.
So it's not even a matter of prescriptive differences.
Our reality perceptions are different.
Hard to imagine that not being Rift-causing in relationships, and I hope it isn't, but I have to be honest.
Yes, indeed.
Okay, Jim in Sarasota, Florida.

And it goes through a very thorough analysis of how studies, analyses, research, back to the 70s show the police more hesitant, more reluctant to pull the trigger on black suspects than on white suspects.
Washington State.
Over a series of years, three studies, all of which reached the same conclusion.
Officers were three times more hesitant to pull the trigger against a black suspect than a white suspect.
So, you want to play this game about what would have happened had the protesters been black?
The likelihood is they would have pulled back even more and the building would have been trashed more.

subscribe on YouTube today trending now on the Hugh Hewitt show you were the first of the major Republican contenders in 2016 to endorse the president and Do you regret that decision?
I do not, Hugh.
I do not because I knew when I dropped out of that race and then after the South Carolina primary that none of the other people on that stage were going to beat Donald Trump.
He was going to be the Republican nominee and I was completely committed.
In fact, in some ways, desperate to make sure that Hillary Clinton was not the next president of the United States.
And when you look at the tax cuts, the regulation cuts, most importantly, the judicial nominees, the problem is that the president's behavior at times has obscured his accomplishments.
Oh, I agree.
The JCPOA and the Abraham Accords, there's a great list.
Will that now always have appended to it, as Nixon has resignation appended to him, the riot and insurrection of Wednesday?
Of course it will.
That was a scene and a set of actions that really, I think, shook the American people.
And those images, I don't think, will ever leave anyone who was watching them.
Well, I don't believe the president intended for what happened to happen.
But I think...
As has happened for all of the eight weeks, Hugh, since the election.
The President...
Hi, everybody.
He announced Joe Biden.
His first task is to try to unite Americans.
So what does this party do with one week, one week, seven days to go with an American president?
Impeach him.
Oh, God.
I always ask about the left.
Do they believe their lies?
And I think they do, which makes it hopeless.
I'd like to ask Joe Biden on a lie detector.
Do you think that impeaching a president who received the most votes of any incumbent president in the history of the United States with a week to go in his term will unite Americans?
What do you think he'll answer?
Now, here's the point.
No one in the press will ask him that.
The purpose of a press conference for the last four years?
Was to somehow catch the president.
The purpose of a president in the next four years, the purpose of a press conference for the next four years, is how do we bolster your presidency?
There is no journalism in the press any longer.
It is just as the Soviet press.
It is there to promote a certain party.
In that case, the Communist, in this case, the Democratic Party.
That is the purpose of the press.
Is that not a fair question to ask?
Do you think that this promotes what you stated is a goal of uniting Americans?
There's a part of me that is actually pro the impeachment.
I would not vote for it.
It's despicable.
But I'm happy they're doing it.
Because I want people to understand that Biden is indistinguishable from AOC. Yes, he doesn't agree with her on every policy, but on the moral state of the left, they're indistinguishable.
And he will do what the left wants.
That's it.
So there's clarity, and I love clarity.
So now you understand the viciousness of the Democratic Party.
I'd like you to play Tom McClintock's comments.
I found them exhilarating.
For two minutes.
The gentleman from California is recognized for two minutes.
Four minutes.
The gentleman from Ohio in control of the time on that side of the aisle wishes to yield four minutes to the gentleman from California, correct?
Yes.
The gentleman from California is recognized for four minutes.
Thank you, Madam Speaker.
You know, I didn't like the President's speech on January 6th either.
I thought he was wrong to assert that the Vice President in Congress can pick and choose which electoral votes to count.
He was wrong to set such a confrontational tone in a politically tense situation.
But what did he actually say?
His exact words were, quote, I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard, unquote.
That's impeachable?
That's called freedom of speech.
Now, he also threatened to oppose candidates in future elections.
And by the way, that was directed at Republicans like me, who'd resolved to uphold the constitutional process and protect the Electoral College.
Well, so what?
That's called politics.
If we impeached every politician who gave a fiery speech to a crowd of partisans, this Capitol would be deserted.
That's what the President did.
That is all he did.
He specifically told the crowd to protest peacefully and patriotically.
And the vast majority of them did.
But every movement has a lunatic fringe.
Suppressing free speech is not the answer.
Holding rioters accountable for their actions is the answer.
And we are.
And if we'd prosecuted BLM and Antifa rioters across the country with the same determination these last six months, this incident may not have happened at all.
Now, short of declaring war, the power of impeachment is the most solemn and consequential act that Congress can take.
To use it in this manner, in the heat of the moment, with no hearings, no due process, many members phoning in their votes after a hastily called debate, exactly one week before a new president is to take office, trivializes this power to the point of caricature.
The Democrats have won everything in sight.
The House, the Senate, and the presidency.
In a republic.
That calls for magnanimity by the victors.
Only in a banana republic does it call for vengeance.
Benjamin Franklin warned us that passion governs, and she never governs wisely.
In our passions this week, we've set some dangerous new precedents that will haunt us for years to come.
We redefined intemperate speech as a physical incapacity requiring removal from office.
Today we define it as a high crime and misdemeanor.
For the moment any member of this body gives an impassioned speech and the lunatic fringe of their movement takes license from it, Be prepared to answer to this new precedent that we established today.
Now, I could cite plenty of provocative speeches made by Democrats that directly preceded violence this summer, but we've already had enough of that.
You know, after 600,000 Americans had perished in the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln appealed to the better angels of our nature.
He said, with malice toward none, With charity for all, let us bind up the nation's wounds.
Those words were so important to the unity of our nation, they're inscribed in marble at the Lincoln Memorial.
I cannot think of a more petty, vindictive, and gratuitous act than to impeach an already defeated president a week before he is to leave office.
President-elect Biden's promise to heal the nation Becomes a hollow mockery in the harsh reality of this unconstitutional act.
God help our country.
That's right, it deserves applause.
That's right.
It's mockery.
All that is good has been mocked.

populations, dead people voting, and now impeachment again.
When they go low, we kick them.
Eric Holder, former attorney general under Barack Obama, breaching the Capitol was as low as low can be.
We all denounce it.
But who is it that they're kicking?
The president, who created soaring highs for our economy, rising wages before the pandemic, 400 miles of wall to stop the caravans, who drew down troops in the Middle East and showed empathy for the forgotten men and women of our country.
It's why so many people love him so much, and it's why they're kicking all of us.
This president has faced unprecedented hatred and resistance from big media, big tech, and big egos.
From congressional leaders on both sides of the aisle.
Before the rioters tore through that glass, Speaker Pelosi stood at that rostrum and tore through the President's State of the Union speech, inciting anger, resentment, division.
Some believe that truly these true colors are being shown now through this divisive partisan impeachment.
The Speaker of the House...
I would request an additional 40 seconds.
Go through the speaker, please.
The gentleman from Ohio.
Madam Speaker, I yield the gentleman an additional 40 seconds.
Four seconds or 40 seconds?
Yep, 40 seconds.
45 seconds.
I thank the gentleman.
The speaker said to us just moments ago, words matter.
But apparently those words don't matter when they're uttered by Democrats.
When the gentlelady from Massachusetts calls for unrest in the streets.
When the gentlelady from California brazenly brags that she called for people to get in the faces of those who serve and support the President.
Okay.
Folks, there are a lot of us.

And the president is addicted to social media and to television and to division.
and he's been lying to the American people for eight straight weeks and planned it long before.
No matter what was happening in any state, he was going to say the election was being stolen and the people needed to rise up.
He said repeatedly to go wild when you get to the Capitol.
They went to the Capitol and some went wild.
Let's be clear here.
There are 30,000 people here.
The vast majority of them are honorable, freedom-loving people.
The vast majority of them, but not all of them.
Do you think he intended for the riot and the occupation, the insurrection, to happen?
I think Donald Trump wanted there to be massive division, and he was telling people there was a path by which he was going to stay in office after January 20th.
That was never true.
And he wanted chaos on television.
I don't have any idea what was in his heart about what he wanted to happen once they were in the Capitol, but he wanted there to be chaos.
And I'm sure you've also had conversations with other senior White House officials, as I have.
I have.
As this was unfolding on television, Donald Trump was walking around the White House confused about why other people on his team weren't as excited as he was as you had rioters pushing against Capitol Police trying to get into the building.
That said, should he be impeached and removed?
I think that there are a lot of questions that we need to get to the bottom of about why the National Guard was not deployed.
I want to understand more about why the National Guard wasn't deployed when there had been clear calls for it and then why that delay happened.
So there are more things that I need to understand before I get to a conclusory judgment about that.
But I think that the question of was the president derelict in his duty, that's not an open question.
He was.

Oh, my goodness.
Nobody said that.
The most severe, pathological, hateful Trump hater never said that.
Nobody said that.
How many Trump rallies have there been?
When have you seen this?
That's why they weren't ready.
Didn't think it was going to happen.
Hadn't happened before.
And there is some evidence that some of the people there were outside agitation, infiltrators.
Some.
Don't know, we're still sorting that out, but at least one guy is a known Antifa, Black Lives Matter activist, violent guy from Utah.
One of them.
But people didn't anticipate this.
Because heretofore, For the most part, the Trump rallies have been peaceful.
And most of the people again there were peaceful.
All of a sudden, the media has forgotten that term that they love so much called mostly peaceful.
They've also forgotten that term they love so much called defund the police.
Why weren't the police there?
Why wasn't there more of a police presence?

Yeah, it doesn't tell.
I have to look it up.
But anyway, he writes for the Louisville, the big Louisville paper.
He's a professor, Pan-African Studies, and he has an iHeart show, Ricky Jones show, okay?
This is the title of his piece.
Republicans should shut up.
Unless they first say they're sorry for supporting Trump.
This is the future, my friends.
If you supported Trump, you may lose your job.
Republicans, you should not be allowed to speak about being shocked by President Donald Trump or the recent right-wing raid on Washington D.C. For your words, ring hollow.
You all should be forced to shut the hell up.
This is a professor, the head of Pan-African Studies.
This is how he writes.
You should all be forced to shut the hell up unless whatever you have to say begins with, I'm sorry.
You should not be allowed to condemn Trump or attempt to distance yourself from him unless you begin with, I have helped him and I'm sorry.
You should not be allowed to cast aspersions on the people who stormed the Capitol building unless you begin with, I helped cause this, and I'm sorry.
You've known what we've all known about your Lord and Savior, Donald Trump, from the beginning, and you didn't care.
You still loved him.
You should admit it and apologize.
Then he goes on to quote O.G. Ogbar, whom he identifies as my Morehouse brother and University of Connecticut professor, Jeffrey O.G. Ogbar.
Ogbar is correct when he observes Trump, quote, pandered to the worst qualities in people, their fears and ignorance.
This is the line the left uses.
Let's see.
Our fears and ignorance.
Well, I'm the anti-fear guy, and I'm certainly not ignorant.
I thought he did a magnificent job putting his tweets aside.
But hey, what's the difference if there's peace in the Middle East?
What's the difference if blacks have the lowest unemployment rate?

He didn't start out hating the left.
He ended up hating the left.
That's all that matters.
See how well blacks do under the Ricky Jones people.
It'll be interesting to see, won't it?
Trump pandered to the worst qualities in people, their fears and ignorance.
Yes, Trump is a liar, racist, demagogue, and madman.

I wondered, has he ever actually been in a room with a Trump supporter?
It's like that great article in the Wall Street Journal during the Obama administration that Obama has straw men in all his speeches.
It describes people and then knocks them down.
This is exactly what this is.
You have an idea of what a Trump supporter is like?
I doubt it.
You feign outrage now and say you are appalled when you see the Capitol building attacked?
Stop it.
You have gaslighted those racist neo-confederate foot soldiers for years.

When Democrats have unified government, they're going to reach too big, and they're going to fail with a lot of it.
We now have to pinpoint, though, what fights matter most.
Number one, the continuation of the Electoral College.
Number two, no more seats on the Supreme Court.
Number three, no new states.
Number three is the one that we really got to look out for.
So, if we're smart, we should go ask Joe Manchin right now on the record, do you support adding?
I have a whole very provocative argument that I think that Joe Manchin should run for Senate Majority Leader and all the Republicans should support him, therefore not allowing Chuck Schumer becoming Senate Majority Leader.
So I'm going to come out with that publicly today.
I guess I'm breaking it exclusively, Eric.
I did come up with the idea, but it's actually so patently obvious.
But then here's the other thing that's going to happen, Eric, is that we're going to start to get...
It's going to get worse before it gets better.
They're going to crack down on us like never before.
There's going to be a lot of indictments, investigations, deplatforming, censoring, loss of hope.
And then we're going to have to rally and we're going to have to find some momentum.
But for anyone who now says...
Well, the country is over.
It's lost.
Then go to Paris, okay?
I have no time for you right now, okay?
I'm going to fight for every single inch of this country.

It's like, how can he be a white, racist KKK leader if he has so many minority supporters?

That is correct.
You know, I'm called a white, racist, supremacist, fascist.
And it just blows my mind.
I've been called that for four years.
So let me ask you what I always ask blacks who are conservative or Republican.
How does your family react to you?
Well, you know, I think my situation is a little unusual.
I've been estranged from most of my family, and I'm on Facebook, and actually some long-distant relatives just contacted me a year or so ago.
And as I saw their post on Facebook, I saw what they said about President Trump.
And I declined to respond to their reaching out to me.
They so hated him, and their posts were so irrational and so insane, I really just stopped responding to their request to reach out to me.
So I rejected them because I saw so much hate for President Trump, just irrational hate.
And I hadn't talked to them.
They found me through Facebook, and I was going to actually, you know, go to a family reunion.
And there was months before the reunion was supposed to happen, and I saw the post from them, and I told one of the ladies that were contacting one of my relatives, I said, you know what, I'm not going to go to the family reunion.
She said, why not?
I said, because I'm a Trump supporter, and I wouldn't feel safe there.
Are you married?
They haven't talked to me since.
Are you married?
I'm divorced.
Do you have kids?
No.
You know, Dennis, I drank heavily for 20 years, and I really kind of almost lost my entire life, and a big chunk of it, I sobered up, and I really feel like I started life very late because of my alcoholism.
That's correct.
Every year of an addict's life is a year lost.
It's like being dead for that period of time.
The whole time I was drinking, I thought I was having a great life, and now I can't remember most of it.
I run into people that I angered or offended while I was drinking.
I have no idea what I did to them, and I thought I was having a great time.
I don't remember hardly a single thing of all those years where I thought I was having an incredible time.
Are you in a 12-step program?
No, actually, I really think God intervened.
I was an atheist, and when I opened up my heart, And except to God, it was easy to quit drinking.
So you don't meet with others on a regular basis?
No, no.
I actually went to a 30-day rehab in Copperopolis.
And as soon as I got out of there, I started drinking again.
On the way home, I started drinking again.
Yeah, no, I know that.
That's common.
But how come you have not gone to an AA meeting?
Well...
I didn't like them because they smoked cigarettes.
That was probably my biggest gripe.
Everybody smoked like a freight train.
And I don't smoke.
And I just really didn't want to be around them.
They were just...
It wasn't for me.
Okay, that's fine.
I was just curious.
Listen, you're a special guy.
It should be a warning to anybody on drugs, whether it's alcohol or drugs.
Every year you are on that, You were breathing, but you were dead.
This is not meant to scare you.
It's not an exaggeration.
If you are an addict from 20 to 30, then at 30, when you become, God willing, sober, you are still 20. There was no growth during the period of addiction.
So there are a lot of 20-year-olds who are 40 or 50 and so on.
Yes.
All right.
Let's go to...
Oh, boy.
I'm sorry.
Oh, yeah.
Don in St. Paul.
Hello.
Dennis, thank you for taking my call.
I'll start by saying I'm in recovery myself.
I'm impressed by your knowledge and understanding of that.
Thank you.
So the reason for my call, I'm from Minneapolis, and I've just seen this drive on the left to minimize the riots that pretty much destroyed my city.
I've heard, like you just read, the guy said damage to some buildings.
I saw a suite going around that said some chain stores were messed up.
That's not the situation here.
There's buildings burned to the ground.
People are cleaning.
Yeah, so I just wouldn't buy into that.
Yes, I think that's really important.
God bless your recovery.

We only deal in the facts and Katie Pavlich has given them to us.
Yes, there were thousands of peaceful Trump supporters that marched to Capitol Hill and that surrounded the building.
There were others that broke the law and that gained entry to that building.
And did damage to that building.
But some of the people who were there disguised as Trump supporters were in fact BLM and Antifa.
Will we ever get to the bottom of what really happened?
We are 12 days away from...
Biden taking over in his installation of Merrick Garland as the Attorney General of the United States.
So, no.
Don't hold your breath for some official judicial conclusion or even a prosecution of these individuals because that's not in their interests.
BLM is peaceful.
Didn't you know that?
Antifa doesn't exist.
It's just an idea.
But as long as we have great people.
Like Katie Pavlich and my colleagues at Town Hall and at Salem, we will give you the truth.
Because that's why we exist.
That's why we are here.

The last year we have seen BLM incorporated rioters burn down the cities of our country Very little to any of arrests happened.
We saw Antifa go after conservatives and kill a conservative in the street of Portland.
We saw the Russia hoax and zero people be held accountable to it.
From Peter Strzok to Lisa Page to Brennan to Clapper.
We saw this entire voter fraud nonsense unfold.
We saw the Ukrainian impeachment hoax earlier in the year.
Hillary has never been even close to being indicted for what she did from the Clinton How about Hunter Biden?
You think Hunter Biden's ever going to serve serious time in jail?
How about the lockdowns?
I don't trust any institution that exists anymore in our country.
And you shouldn't either.
I don't trust many of our leaders that legislate.
I don't trust our corporations.
I don't trust our universities.
Dennis Prager, final segment of today's show.
I canceled the male-female hour.
I'm really sorry about that.
I really am, as you well know.
I'd much rather talk about your life than about the assault on America from the left.
But, you know, it's amazing to me.
I spent much of my broadcast career during the Cold War.
The first, let's see, it would be the first 10 years.
It was during the Cold War.
And I spoke a lot about communism and the Soviet Union, somewhat less communist China.
And then I remember when the Berlin Wall came down, I thought, oh, wow, great.
Now I can concentrate on happiness, men and women, the meaning of life, religion.
I mean, the things.
That animate a life.
And then the left decided to threaten America much more seriously than the Soviet Union did.
And then we are here right now where the President of the United States is not capable of tweeting.
That is a very, very scary thing.
First of all, it's rooted in a lie that he cultivates violence.
If he cultivates violence, there should be no left-wing speaker who has a Twitter account.
The ratio of violence left to right is like a thousand to one.
We're talking about individuals.
We're talking about groups.
Riots.
The riots are...
Until this, I was able to say until last week, it's one of the reasons I'm so angry at these people, the right doesn't riot.
Only the left does.
Okay, so now I could say the left does 99% of the time.
They are muzzling the president.
They are muzzling almost everybody that I know.
This can't be tolerated.
We need to separate.
Let the left keep what it dominates.
We have to get out.
And it begins, I'm sorry, my heart breaks for you if you're a parent of young kids.
It starts with getting out of the schools.
You cannot send your kid to a regular school, elementary, high school, or college, and then complain later.
That they have rejected everything you hold dear and precious.
You have been told in as stark a manner as possible, by me and perhaps by others, what to expect if your kid goes to a school in America in 2021. I wish it were not the case.
My dad went to public school and every value his parents had.
was reinforced at school.
Now every value you have is trampled on at school.
