Time Text
I'm saying this.
Well, maybe they do, but it's not an ad.
So they have a piece today titled Erase and Criminalize.
There is a concerted effort to tar every Trump supporter with the brush of capital mob protester.
That is a lie.
It is a deliberate and malicious lie.
It is a plan to intimidate and silence.
That is what is exactly happening now.
That's why I read to you the Forbes editor yesterday who said that all the press secretaries that served under Donald Trump, none of them should be allowed to appear on television or be published.
They should be silenced.
They want every one of you who supports or supported the president to be Persona non grata in American society.
These people are totalitarian.
We're undergoing the beginning of a cultural revolution, weeding out all dissenting thought.
That's right.
If you don't support the left, then you are going to be in some way silenced.
People already know that.
That's why people are afraid to speak up on the Internet.
You speak up on the Internet, there is a good chance you won't be able to speak up on the Internet.
You will lose your Twitter account.
I spoke to Eric Metaxas, my colleague and friend, and he has an on-again, off-again relationship with Twitter.
Eric Metaxas, the author of the worldwide best-selling biography of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the Protestant minister, Who didn't go along with the Nazis.
He was a German, and he was ultimately shot by them.
This Christian decent man is shut down periodically by Twitter until he's shut down permanently.
If you want to do a conservative Twitter, excuse me, libertarian Twitter, just a free Twitter, Parler started that, and then Amazon shut them down.
These unprecedentedly wealthy men are all leftists, with very few exceptions.
The man who just died this week, Sheldon Adelson, is an exception, for example.
I was just on Newt Gingrich's podcast right before this show.
He asked me about Sheldon Adelson.
I was very touched.
Adelson paid all of his employees through the entire lockdown in Vegas.
How many leftists did that?
Leftists are ruining your business.
It's amazing.
As our civil liberties are shut down, unconstitutionally, unscientifically, in California where I live, It's now approaching a year, a year, that restaurants cannot function.
There was a two-month or so period when they could have outdoor dining.
Has it in any way helped stem the virus?
I don't believe it has helped one iota.
But you can't argue with them because what they say is If you stop the lockdown, the deaths are because you stopped the lockdown.
But then if you point out, but look at how many died during lockdown, they say, well, you know how many more would have died if there were no lockdown?
So, it's not, there's no way to argue.
I have said, as you know, all of my life, the left is totalitarian.
I know that when I said it, people thought I was engaging in hyperbole.
They don't think so now.
Liberals are just the useful idiots of the left.
Liberals are not totalitarian.
But they vote totalitarian.
There's no more un-self-aware person in America than the nice, sweet, intelligent liberal.
They vote for the most anti-liberal party in American history, the current Democratic Party.
And now, if you supported the President in any way, you are verbally tarred and feathered their anger that you had the audacity to not vote left.
It cannot go unpunished.
So now they're having hearings with, what is it, a week to go in the presidency?
The absurdity of it is only matched by its meanness.
That's why it's done.
It's a vendetta.
They had hundreds, if not thousands of riots, destructive deaths of many.
The burning of buildings, the burning of businesses, the burning of restaurants, the burning of police cars.
Nothing!
Their response from the left was nothing!
Their response from the left was, don't arrest anybody.
And then they have the audacity to use the Capitol mob as their Reichstag fire.
The parallel is almost perfect.
Now, do we have a live feed from Washington?
I haven't heard any of this.
Let's see what it's like in the House of Representatives.
Well, all we hear is background chatter.
The good old days when all you would hear was background chatter from Congress.
All right, you can turn that off, Sean, because...
That's not riveting, to be precise.
Well...
Alright, 1-8-Prager-776 is the number.
If you have your own story of being shut down, that would be unfortunately important for people to hear.
There is no institution at this time that I can think of wherein an American is free to say his conservative beliefs.
They have done it.
They have taken over everything.
Not talk radio, or at least not yet, although Cumulus has announced that none of its hosts, and that includes, let's see, who does that include?
Does that include Rush Limbaugh?
Mark Levin.
The names will be very interesting.
But some of the most widely listened to people in radio are being told you will be fired if you say that you don't believe the last election.
Was determined fairly.
That's astonishing.
So for three years, the entire left, CNN, New York Times, could perpetrate the clear lie that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia.
That was fine.
But if you say, I think that there may have been cheating, I mean, would a Democrat cheat?
I mean, let's be, isn't that silly?
The very notion that Democrats would cheat to get their people elected.
I said from the beginning I was agnostic.
And the reason I'm agnostic is that the anomalies of the election demand some sort of explanation.
I just have to go with what seems probable and what seems less probable.
First president in 150 years to get more votes than he got the first time and lose.
That's an anomaly.
Nineteen counties in the country are considered to be bellwether counties, counties that tell you what the national election will determine.
And he won, the president did, 18 of the 19 counties.
That's an anomaly to win those counties, nearly every single one, just but one, and lose.
He won Florida and Ohio.
It's exceedingly rare to win those states and lose the election.
So there are many others.
So let's see, Mark Levin, Ben Shapiro, and others.
They are being told, you can't talk about this.
I am blessed to work for Salem Radio, which does not give me directives on what to say.
1-8 Prager 776 is the number.
This is a very bad time in American history.
We must disengage from these institutions.
I'll be back.
I'll tell you what, it's law and order it's law and order when you want to smear Republicans, but it's a peaceful protest when you're burning the city down for the devil.
Well, that's, you know, unfortunately, Lance, many of us know that exactly what you're saying, that that is true.
So the question is, what do we do?
In other words, will we have the ability going forward to...
To keep the republic?
I mean, that's the question.
I have said that if Biden gets in either way, fraudulently or legitimately, he and his folks are going to take us down a path that destroys our ability to recover.
It is important that we, in our movement, recognize we are a movement.
And that Donald Trump is willing to still lead that movement.
And that movement is going to redefine politics in the Republican Party.
And that movement is going to damage the Democrats.
And what we must be aware of is what happened yesterday cannot ever happen again.
We can't give them the gift of having us for a moment do anything that is unrighteous because they could be unrighteous all day and will never call themselves out.
But if they bait us into participating in something they do, it's us that's going to get in show.
It's like the kid in school who knows how to do something bad.
Turns around their straight face and the goofy kid who participated, that's the one the teacher got, that's us.
So we got to start with, and I mean it sincerely, no violence because they would love to come for the guns of lawful people, just like they want to come for the freedom of speech of God's most righteous people.

Yes, there were thousands of peaceful Trump supporters that marched to Capitol Hill Surrounded the building.
There were others that broke the law and that gained entry to that building and did damage to that building.
But some of the people who were there disguised as Trump supporters were in fact BLM and Antifa.
Will we ever get to the bottom of what really happened?
We are 12 days away from Biden taking over in his installation of Merrick Garland as the Attorney General of the United States.
So no, don't hold your breath for some official judicial conclusion.
It's amazing.
The left-wing induced tension in the United States.
I told you, it's a tsunami of chaos that they create.
Such a wonderful place.
It had such great employment.
I mean, so many wonderful things were happening.
But if people are happy, they don't make revolutions.
It's one of the reasons the left is anti-happy.
There's another reason.
They're not happy.
There are no happy leftists.
There are happy liberals.
The miserable love company.
It's a truly destructive force.
It's been that way since Lenin and the Bolsheviks in 1917. It's a very serious crisis in this country, my friends.
And the first thing that I appeal to you is, A, don't despair.
I am certainly not despairing.
Number two is you must find kindred spirits.
Number three, you must disengage from the institutions to the best of your ability.
And the first place to start is to take your kids out of schools that indoctrinate them into hatred.
They're now hatred-inducing institutions.
You hate whites.
You hate America.
You hate liberty.

Also understand that they shut us down because they don't debate.
That's why.
People need to understand only people afraid of other thoughts shut down other thoughts.
The average New York Times columnist is a fool, is an empty bag.
Of words.
They won't debate.
I'll fly anywhere in the world to debate the New York Times columnists.

It's a disgrace that it went from Wiesel to this hater.
Why doesn't he debate?
He would never debate.
They shut us down because they can't debate.
It's not based on reason.
It's not based on morality.
It's based on emotion, and the emotion is bring down America.
Bring down that which succeeds.
In my book, Why the Jews, I have a chapter on anti-Americanism as a parallel.
This is written a long time ago.
A parallel to anti-Semitism.
The people hated the Jews because the Jews created a high quality of life, generally speaking.
Same with America.
America created a high quality of life.
And it's hated for it.
The left hates when the most religious country of the Western democracies, of the highly developed Western democracies, is successful.
Where the most capitalist is successful.
They hate capitalism and religion.
Let's hear for a moment.
They're reading the votes.
Let's hear the reading of the votes.
...and conviction of treason, bribery, or other crimes and misdemeanors.
Further, Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution prohibits any person who has engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the United States from holding any office.
Under the United States, in his conduct while President of the United States, and in violation of his constitutional oath faithfully to execute the office of the President of the United States, and to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States,
and in violation of his constitutional duty to take care that the law be faithfully executed, Donald John Trump engaged in high crimes and misdemeanors by inciting violence against the government of the United States in that, on January 6,
2021, pursuant to the 12th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, the Vice President of the United States, the House of Representatives, and the Senate met at the United States Capitol for a joint session of Congress to count the votes of the Electoral College.
In the months preceding the joint session, President Trump repeatedly issued false statements asserting that the presidential election results were the product of widespread fraud and should not be accepted by the American people or certified by state or federal officials.
Shortly before the joint session commenced, President Trump addressed a crowd at the Ellipse in Washington, D.C. There, he reiterated false claims that we won this election and we won it by a landslide.
He also willfully made statements that, in context, encouraged and foreseeably resulted in lawless action at the Capitol.
We're not going to have a country anymore.
Thus incited by President Trump, members of the crowd he had addressed, in an attempt to, among other objectives, interfere with the Joint Sessions' solemn constitutional duty to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election, unlawfully breached and vandalized the Capitol, injured and killed law enforcement personnel, menaced members of Congress, the Vice President, and congressional personnel and engaged in other violent, deadly, destructive, and sedacious acts.
President Trump's conduct on January 6, 2021, followed his prior efforts to subvert and obstruct the certification of the results of the 2020 presidential election.
Those prior efforts included a phone call on January 2, 2021, during which President Trump urged the Secretary of State of Georgia, Brad Raffensperger, to find enough votes to overturn the Georgia presidential election results and threaten Secretary Raffensperger if he failed to do so.
In all of this, President Trump gravely endangered the security of the United States and its institutions of government.
He threatened the integrity of the democratic system, interfered with the peaceful transition of power, and imperiled a co-equal branch of government.
He thereby betrayed his trust as president to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.
Wherefore, Donald John Trump By such conduct has demonstrated that he will remain a threat to the national security, democracy, and the Constitution if allowed to remain in office, and has acted in a manner grossly incompatible with self-governance and the rule of law.
Donald John Trump thus warns impeachment and trial, removal from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States.

But that's a simpleton argument.

Do we not have the duty to our oath to do all we constitutionally can to protect our nation and our democracy from the appetites and ambitions of a man who has self-evidently demonstrated that he is a vital threat to liberty, to self-government, and to the rule of law?
Okay, all right, it's enough.
It's enough because it is truly Entering another universe.
Who is the threat to liberty?
The Democratic Party?
The left?
The social media tech companies?
How has Donald Trump in any way suppressed liberty?
Name one way.
The threat to liberty is entirely from the left because the left loathes liberty.
With liberty, they fail.
Because then people are free to point out the vile ideas for which they stand.
They hate liberty.
Since the French Revolution, to the Russian Revolution, to the leftist revolution now, they've always hated liberty.
How has he suppressed liberty?
How did any Republicans suppress liberty?
Republicans basically want to leave people alone.

Leave people alone.
Just a year ago, before the lockdown, this horrendous, irrational, unconstitutional deprivation of liberty, this country was sailing along in such good straits.

I do not, Hugh.
I do not because I knew when I dropped out of that race and then after the South Carolina primary that none of the other people on that stage were going to beat Donald Trump.
He was going to be the Republican nominee and I was completely committed.
In fact, in some ways, desperate to make sure that Hillary Clinton was not the next president of the United States.
And when you look at the tax cuts, the regulation cuts, most importantly, the judicial nominees, the problem is that the president's behavior at times has obscured his accomplishments.
Oh, I agree.
The JCPOA and the Abraham Accords, there's a great list.
Will that now always have appended to it, as Nixon has resignation appended to him, the riot and insurrection of Wednesday?
Of course it will.
That was a scene and a set of actions that really, I think, shook the American people.
Now we have another prize, Gerald Nadler. Gerald Nadler.
He talked about whipping up his supporters, the president, into a frenzy.
These are the people who whip people into frenzies.
Mr. Speaker, Madam Speaker, I have faith in the resiliency of our government.
We will bring the rioters to justice.
Their accomplices in this House will be held responsible.
But today, we must focus on the gravest threat first, President Trump, who incited this riot and who remains a grave danger to the nation.
As we warned the Senate when we tried him for his first impeachment, President Trump has made clear in word and deed that he will persist in such conduct if he is not removed from power.
He poses a continuing threat to our nation.
To the integrity of our elections and to our democratic order.
He must not remain in power one moment longer.
Not one moment longer.
The danger is too great.
We must impeach.
I reserve the balance of my time.
The gentleman reserves the balance of his time.
The gentleman from Ohio is recognized.
Thank you, Madam Speaker.
I would yield two minutes to the gentleman from California.
Mr. McClure.
The gentleman from California is recognized for two minutes.
The gentleman from California is recognized for two minutes.
We'll go.
Four minutes.
Excuse me.
It's hard to recognize.
The gentleman from Ohio in control of the time on that side of the aisle wishes to yield four minutes to the gentleman from California.
Correct?
Yes.
The gentleman from California is recognized for four minutes.
Thank you, Madam Speaker.
You know, I didn't like the President's speech on January 6th either.
I thought he was wrong to assert that the Vice President in Congress can pick and choose which electoral votes to count.
He was wrong to set such a confrontational tone in a politically tense situation.
But what did he actually say?
His exact words were, quote, I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.
Unquote.
That's right.
That's impeachable?
Yeah.
That's called freedom of speech.
Now, he also threatened to oppose candidates in future elections.
And by the way, that was directed at Republicans like me, who'd resolved to uphold the constitutional process and protect the Electoral College.
Well, so what?
That's called politics.
If we impeached every politician who gave a fiery speech to a crowd of partisans, this Capitol would be deserted.
That's what the President did.
That is all he did.
He specifically told the crowd to protest peacefully and patriotically.
And the vast majority of them did.
But every movement has a lunatic fringe.
Suppressing free speech is not the answer.
Holding rioters accountable for their actions is the answer.
And we are.
And if we'd prosecuted BLM and Antifa rioters across the country with the same determination these last six months, this incident may not have happened at all.
Now, short of declaring war, the power of impeachment is the most solemn and consequential act that Congress can take.
To use it in this manner, in the heat of the moment, with no hearings, no due process, many members phoning in their votes after a hastily called debate, exactly one week before a new president is to take office, trivializes this power to the point of caricature. trivializes this power to the point of caricature.
The Democrats have won everything in sight.
The House, the Senate, and the presidency.
In a republic that calls for magnanimity by the victors, only in a banana republic does it call for vengeance.
Benjamin Franklin warned us that passion governs, and she never governs wisely.
In our passions this week, we've set some dangerous new precedents that will haunt us for years to come.
Yesterday, we redefined intemperate speech as a physical incapacity requiring removal from office.
Today, we define it as a high crime and misdemeanor.
Well, the moment any member of this body gives an impassioned speech and the lunatic fringe of their movement takes license from it, be prepared to answer to this new precedent that we established today.
Now, I could cite plenty of provocative speeches made by Democrats that directly preceded violence this summer, but we've already had enough of that.
You know, after 600,000 Americans had perished in the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln appealed to the better angels of our nature.
He said, with malice toward none, with charity for all, let us bind up the nation's wounds.
Those words were so important to the unity of our nation, they're inscribed in marble at the Lincoln Memorial.
I cannot think of a more petty, vindictive, and gratuitous act.
Than to impeach an already defeated president a week before he is to leave office.
President-elect Biden's promise to heal the nation becomes a hollow mockery in the harsh reality of this unconstitutional act.
God help our country.
The gentleman's time has expired.
The gentleman from Ohio Reserves.
The gentleman from New York is recognized.
And now yield.
One minute to the gentlelady from California, Ms. Lofgren.
The gentlewoman from California is recognized for one minute.
Madam Speaker, I'm the only member of Congress who's been involved in all three of the last presidential impeachments.
Those were long proceedings.
Today, we don't need a long investigation to know the President incited right-wing terrorists to attack the Congress to try to overturn constitutional government.
The actions were in public.
Okay.
All right.
We've had enough.
That mob was overturning the government?
I condemned them so quickly that I think it took me a matter of minutes.
They disgraced our cause.
But to say they were overturning the government?
Posing for stupid pictures sitting in Nancy Pelosi's chair?
If that's a grave threat to the United States as it is being portrayed, then the United States is very secure.
These are the people who said nothing all summer with really, really serious riots.

How many Trump rallies have there been?
When have you seen this?
That's why they weren't ready.

But people didn't anticipate this.
Because heretofore, for the most part, the Trump rallies have been peaceful.
And most of the people again there were peaceful.
All of a sudden, the media has forgotten that term that they love so much called mostly peaceful.
They've also forgotten that term they love so much called defund the police.

I have said that if Biden gets in, either way, fraudulently or legitimately, he and his folks are going to take us down a path that destroys our ability to recover.
We can give them...
I'm still...
Floating...
Levitating from...
Louie Gomerick speaking now?
Jim Jordan and Tom McClintock.
Now we have, say it again?
Oh, Louie Gohmert.
Let's hear him.
...to be impeachable because we didn't believe...
She surely meant that.
But by the Democrats taking this action, you're telling me, no, when we say those, we actually mean to incite violence.
That's what this action is saying.
Look, I just looked on the History Channel.
It says these words...
If the Judiciary Committee, he's talking about impeachment, finds sufficient grounds, its members write and pass articles of impeachment, which then go to the full House for a vote.
Half of all the impeachments ever conducted, ever voted for, occurred under this Speaker.
You're setting a precedent that says very clearly, because this impeachment isn't going to work, but it is setting the precedent.
Unlike a year ago when we said, look, it shouldn't go through intel, it should go through the Judiciary Committee.
Forget that.
Now the message is, if you have a whim and you want to just go after a president...
Just go straight to the floor.
No investigation.
No Judiciary Committee.
Go straight to the floor.
Use it as a political weapon as you wish.
This is so dangerous, what you're doing.
Forgetting all the precedents?
Yes, we can argue back and forth, but you're using this as a weapon.
And you're destroying this little experiment in self-government in a year's time.
The gentleman's time has expired.
It needs to stop.
I yield back.
The gentleman from Ohio Reserve, the gentleman from New York.
You know, it's very important that you hear these things because you may think you're alone.
Listen, when you hear two and two is five enough, this is not meant at all.
You start wondering.
I thought it was four.
The President said that they should go to the Capitol peacefully in the speech.
But no, no, he's incited.
He said, we have to fight for what we believe in.
There you go.
He incited a riot.
The lies that are being told.
And that was a great point.
Was it half the impeachments of whatever period been under her?
They have...
Denuded every important term of its meaning.
Racism is an example.
Impeachment is an example.
Rape is an example.
The left is the bad part of the human.
Turning now on The Charlie Kirk Show.
Thank you.
The last year we have seen BLM Incorporated rioters burn down the cities of our country with very little to any of arrests happened.
We saw Antifa go after conservatives and kill a conservative in the street of Portland.
We saw the Russia hoax and zero people be held accountable to it.
From Peter Strzok to Lisa Page to Brennan to Clapper.
We saw this entire voter fraud nonsense unfold.
We saw the Ukrainian impeachment hoax earlier in the year.
Hillary has never been even close to being indicted for what she did from the Clinton Foundation or from Uranium One.
How about Hunter Biden?
You think Hunter Biden's ever going to serve serious time in jail?
How about the lockdowns?
I don't trust any institution that exists anymore in our country.
And you shouldn't either.
I don't trust...
Many of our leaders that legislate, I don't trust our corporations, I don't trust our universities, and I don't trust the media.
Now, that's not to say that violence is justified.
That's not the point.
The point is that if you lazily and sloppily slap a label onto these people and say, oh, they're insurrectionists, like, hold on a second.
Get a little bit deeper and a little bit more nuanced of what's happening in our country right now.
What drives them?
They don't trust their system is what is driving them.

You know what?
I saw Ron DeSantis say something the other day that really, really got to me.
He said, the highlight of my life, of my job, of my existence, is to have people come up to me now with tears in their eyes and say, thank you, Governor DeSantis.
Thanks to you, my family still has an income.
I still have a job.
Thanks to you, I've been able to survive this horrific year.
You should see New York.
Oh my goodness.
It's terrible what New Yorkers have experienced and are continuing to experience.
And believe me, look at the comparisons of New York and Florida.
It's very apt.
So here's Governor DeSantis at that press conference where a CNN reporter was strutting around like a peacock trying to embarrass him and talk over him.
And he completely bested her.
With this exchange.
What has gone wrong with the rollout of the vaccine that we've seen phone lines jammed, websites crash?
There's a lot of demand.
I mean, I think at the end of the day, excuse me, excuse me.
If I could finish my question.
You just said, what has gone wrong?
So I'm answering the question.
If I could complete the question, though.
So are you going to give a speech or are you going to ask a question?
We've seen websites crash and also senior citizens waiting overnight for the vaccine.
Where was that at?
We've seen it in Duval, Broward, Orange, and Lincoln.
Why was there a big line?
Did you investigate why?
Could you tell us why?
Because we distributed vaccine to hospitals, and the hospital said, first come, first serve.
If you show up, we'll do it.
See, I mean, these CNN clowns aren't interested in any kind of answers.
She doesn't care about a response.
She wants to posture and behave more like an activist than a reporter.

I'm watching this thing and I'm looking at this horrific...
Scene of how these people breach the capitol building hoping nobody gets hurt hoping the officers are able to maintain order hoping there's no destruction of valuable You know artifacts and things like that in that building How this looks by but from terrorists that they're saying how easy it is to be that's what I'm thinking about It never occurred to me go.
You know what Larry?
I Wonder what would have happened had these people been largely black people I guess I had other things on my mind, but if you want to play that game, let's play that game.
Holding in my baby brown libertarian fingers, article from the Wall Street Journal, April 27, 2016, headline, this study found race matters in police shootings, but the results may surprise you.
And the article, very detailed, I urge you to go get it yourself, we have it up on LarryElder.com, and it goes through a very, Thorough analysis of how studies, analyses, research back to the 70s show the police more hesitant, more reluctant to pull the trigger on black suspects than on white suspects.
Washington State, over a series of years, three studies, all of which reached the same conclusion, officers were three times More hesitant to pull the trigger against a black suspect than a white suspect.
So, you want to play this game about what would have happened had the protesters been black?
black the likelihood is they would have pulled back even more and the building would have been trash more keep up with what's trending subscribe on YouTube today trending and now on the Hugh Hewitt show you were the first of the major Republican contenders in 2016 to endorse
Do you regret that decision?
I do not, Hugh.
I do not because I knew when I dropped out of that race and then after the South Carolina primary that none of the other people on that stage were going to beat Donald Trump.
He was going to be the Republican nominee and I was completely committed.
In fact, in some ways desperate to make sure That Hillary Clinton was not the next president of the United States.
And when you look at the tax cuts, the regulation cuts, most importantly, the judicial nominees, the problem is that the president's behavior at times has obscured his accomplishment.
Oh, I agree.
The JCPOA and the Abraham Accords, there's a great list.
Will that now always have appended to it as Nixon has resignation appended to him?
Of course it will.
That was a scene and a set of actions that really, I think, shook the American people.
And those images, I don't think, will ever leave anyone who was watching them.
well I don't believe the president intended for what happened to happen Prager here in Normally we would have the male-female hour.
I very rarely cancel it.
Usually it's a Wednesday after a Tuesday election, and that's about it.
But I am today, because there's an impeachment process taking place, and the crisis of the country demands at this time attention to that rather than the male-female hour, which bugs me.
Because I certainly believe that there's so much more to life than politics.
Why I have a happiness hour, an ultimate issues hour, and a male-female hour, and talk about all sorts of things on other hours.
So we are now engaged in another left-wing hysteria.
That's all this is.
This is just another left-wing hysteria.
In my book about the left and America, Still the Best Hope, I think it's 11 hysterias that I list.
And we have gone from hysteria to hysteria here.
Wait till the Biden administration.
It'll just be hysteria.
Look, existential threat of climate to humanity.
That's hysteria.
Because they can't get anything done without telling people that it's a Mortal threat.
The only mortal threat is the left.
That's the irony.
So they focus on other alleged mortal threats.
A week before the president is leaving office, they're impeaching him.
They make a farce of the impeachment.
It's now just a political tool.
That's all it is.
It's what they've made of it.
Everything about this has been hysteria.
Insurrection?
For, what was it, a week that left-wing demonstrators took over the Wisconsin state capitol and left it as shambles?
Was that ever called insurrection?
A week.
This idiocy January 6th was a few hours.
A week.
They took over the place.
Any consequences?
Not that I know of.
Did Democrats even condemn them?
It's beyond hypocrisy.
Hypocrisy is where you have a standard that you advocate and then you violate it.
You violate the same standard.
So yes, it's hypocritical, but it's so much more than that because they don't have standards.
That's the point.
The hypocrite has standards that they don't uphold.
The left doesn't have standards.
Their only standard is what gives us more power.
Listening to Jim Jordan and Congressman McClintock is actually emboldening.
It was so good to hear, so refreshing, but it's so hard to hear voices now that are anything but left because of Twitter.
We must leave Twitter.
If Twitter wants to be a left-wing vehicle, then that's what it should be.
Disengage, but they don't even allow that, because Amazon, another trillionaire, Amazon, I don't know if he's a trillionaire, he's close, is a hundreds of billionaire, let's put it that way, has decided to pull the plug.
We can't depend on them any longer.
It's very simple.
They don't like what we say.
They pull the plug.
So Parler needs to find another vehicle by which to exist, and then tens of millions of Americans have to join it.
Then at least we have clarity.
There's left-wing tweets, and there's everybody tweets.
Parler doesn't want to be conservative.
Parler wants to be free.
That is the difference.
We allow left-wing tweets.
They don't allow right-wing tweets.
Get it?
Is that not obvious, the difference?
Eugene D. Genovese was a Marxist professor.
Look it up.
Major professor on Civil War history.
And he wrote a column a long time ago that in the 1950s, He was a communist or a Marxist.
I don't remember which term he used.
And he had complete freedom of speech when conservatives dominated universities and politics.
He had complete freedom of speech.
Conservatives don't shut you down.
It's not in our temperament.
It is not in our outlook.
Say what you want and let us say what we want.
That's what we want.
That's all we want.
We don't want a right-wing Twitter.
We want an open Twitter.
That's the difference.
That is a huge difference.
Make that point to your children who went to college or now high school.
Listening to these Republican congressmen is strength-inducing.
I'm going to try to get them.
I want to play the Jim Jordan and the McClintock ones.
Again, Sean, if you can dig them up.
And if you do dig them up, I will give you any flavored lollipop that you desire.
Any.
That's a biggie.
I would like to play again McClintock and the first half of the Jim Jordan speech.
All right, anyway, you'll see what you can do.
All right, everybody, and let's go to some of your calls.
I didn't get any calls today.
Hmm.
Okay, let's go to Orange, California, and Tony.
Hello, Tony.
Hello, Tony.
Dennis, am I on the air?
You are.
God bless you and the show.
And I'm just astonished.
I've never thought I'd see this.
I don't want to waste time by adding on the great talks of Tim and Jim.
Thank you for putting them on.
My quick comment is Frontline PBS.
Last night I saw the re-education or the rewriting of history.
They had the bullet of the show was United States of Conspiracy.
While trafficking and conspiracy theories went from the fringes of U.S. politics into the White House, the alliance of conspiracy entrepreneur Alex Jones, Trump advisor Roger Stone, and the president, and their role in the battle over truth and lie.
That's a PBS thing, yeah.
Well, aren't you happy to know where your tax money is going?
That's what I texted my friends.
And, you know, when I visited Ukraine in 2005, I went to a bookstore.
And at the bottom of the bookstore, there was a shelf of books.
And you moved the shelf back.
It was like, got to get smart.
And there was a room.
And I asked them, what is this room for?
And they go, this is where we discuss politics.
And I just never thought I'd get to a point in our country where that's where we're going to be.
gonna be that's right well said well well my friends the conspiracy idea is quite remarkable So, the right wing peddles conspiracy theories.
Give me a conspiracy theory that is widespread on the right as the Russian collusion conspiracy theory was on the left.
For three years dominating America.
Now you might say, oh, the conspiracy theory that this election was stolen.
Okay.
So we're 1-1.
I don't know if it's as widespread, but it is pretty widespread.
Here's the interesting thing about it, since I personally am agnostic.
Certainly, I'll tell you what I think, but I've said this from the beginning.
There are just too many anomalies that provide circumstantial evidence that there was tampering.
To me, a truly operative question is, would Democrats, if they could get away with it, would Democrats cheat in counting votes?
Now, ask the same.
Would Republicans, if they could get away with it, cheat in counting votes?
I believe the answer to question one is yes, and the answer to question two is rarely, if ever.
That's what I believe.
That's not a conspiracy.
I know the moral compass of the left.
We are good.
They are bad.
Therefore, in the service of good, you can cheat.
If you believe that Donald Trump is a racist, white supremacist, fascist dictator, and they all, all say that on the left, why wouldn't you cheat?
I would.
Is this a conspiracy theory, or is this serious moral questioning?
