	Thank you.
	I don't hear anything all right everybody I'm Dennis Prager is It's a dark day in the United States.
	Let me begin by saying that if some monster on the left had diabolical abilities to conjure up the best possible scene for the left to continue to destroy this country, they would have invented yesterday.
	The riot in the capital of the United States of America was a gift to the left and the Democrats that even they would not have imagined could have happened.
	It was beyond wrong.
	Somebody once said about something, and I wish I remembered exactly, but it made a big impact on me many years ago when I read it.
	It was worse than wrong.
	It was stupid.
	It was a mistake.
	The injury to the cause is incalculable.
	This will be constantly used as an excuse to morally defend the destruction of this country that we'll be engaged in further because the left has so much power.
	That's it.
	That's what they did.
	Now, having said that, I will analyze why some of them, I can't speak for all of them, did this.
	Which is, does not fall into the realm of tu comprends, si tu pardones.
	That if you understand everything, you forgive everything.
	No, not at all.
	I don't think I could have condemned this in stronger terms.
	I was so furious yesterday that for the promo of the show, I think it was the only promo I ever recorded in which I yelled.
	I was so angry.
	It happened at the very, very end of my show.
	I didn't even know it was happening during the show.
	I never watch television while I broadcast because my concentration cannot be diverted.
	That's the way.
	My mind works.
	I had been saying the right doesn't riot.
	The left riots.
	This wasn't a riot in the sense of looting and burning, and that, by the way, is not insignificant.
	There are gradations of evil, but it was made up for.
	By the locale of where it took place.
	When I see a picture of a guy sitting in Nancy Pelosi's chair, you know, yucking it up for the camera, I can't take this person seriously.
	What can I tell you?
	What cause are you actually advancing by doing that?
	Smashing the glass of the U.S. Capitol?
	My side?
	The tarnishing of Donald Trump's legacy with these scenes.
	I wonder, I would love to ask them, did you have this in mind when you came to Washington?
	Was this part of your thinking?
	I will break down the windows of the United States Capitol and take over offices there.
	I don't know the answer to that.
	Now, having said that, I spoke to people.
	This was very eye-opening to me.
	I spoke to people who are not supporting it morally.
	Supported it emotionally.
	And I learned a great deal.
	My dear friends, there are tens upon tens of millions of Americans, basically half of the United States, that feels that every institution in the country has contempt for them.
	And they're right.
	But you don't hear from them because the institutions that have contempt for these Americans, which is basically half this country, the deplorables, if you will, don't report it.
	The media considers Trump supporters to be rabble, including the intellectuals among them, Victor Davis Hanson or Larry Elder.
	Or any other names.
	Or me.
	Or more or less Ben Shapiro, even though he was an anti-Trump guy in the beginning.
	I was an anti-Trump guy in the beginning, too.
	But not once he ran for office.
	By the way, he did a great job as president.
	That's the irony.
	He accomplished more good than any president of my lifetime.
	But it doesn't matter.
	Oh, so he brought peace between Israel and four Arab countries.
	So what?
	Oh, he had the best unemployment rate in 50 years and the best unemployment rate for black Americans ever.
	Ever since they've been recording these things.
	So what?
	First thing they'll do is stop building the wall because for the left, The more people who come into this country, the better.
	There's no country to protect for the left, so it means nothing.
	An open border is fine.
	That's the definition of an open border.
	No country in the history of the world has had open borders in this sense.
	Maybe you didn't need passports in ancient Greece, but you didn't have...
	vast numbers of non-Greeks moving into ancient Greece.

	Six months he said nothing about real riots, the riots that come with stealing and burning and intimidating people like Black Lives Matter marchers in various cities, intimidating people dining in outdoor dining to raise their fists in support of their Marxist movement.
	Most anti-American, anti-white movement in American history.
	Let's see you white folks raise your hands so you can grovel for us.
	That will bring us joy, because when whites grovel, we feel better.
	That's what it's all about.
	Have white people raise their fists.
	For BLM marchers.
	Anyway, did Biden say a word?
	No, you know when he started his tepid condemnation?
	When he saw that polls were starting to shift against him, and that was it.
	That was it.
	Trump said more against this riot of the Republicans.
	Within an hour than Biden said in six months.
	Will that be reported in the mainstream media?
	All of a sudden, they're really angry about the rioting.
	Amazing, isn't it?
	Want to know the difference between Republicans and Democrats?
	Republicans condemn their rioters.
	There you go.
	There's a good riddle for you.
	Everybody has people who do bad things on their side.
	The difference is who condemns them.
	Who condemns their own?
	We are in for a questionable period of this next two years. - Until there's a Senate election and a House election again.
	Eleven million people will be made citizens of the United States, rewarded for coming here illegally.
	That's what happens when you change words from illegal alien to non-documented worker.

	There is a reason that the Electoral College votes are not advertised, are not declared by the state houses.
	That they must be transmitted from the individual state houses of our republic to the capital city.

	This is not some kind of executive order by the president.
	This is the Constitution of the United States that is clear that a joint session of the Senate and the Congress must...
	Advertise, must declare in the final personage of the President of the Senate, the incumbent Vice President, who happens to be Mike Pence.
	That is the order of our Constitution.
	It occurs here in Washington, D.C. It does not occur in the state houses of this republic.
	And it may only occur after all objections are debated and are voted upon by each house.

	The answer of Democrats to riots was defund the police.
	You know how many more dead people there are in this country because of Democratic mayors and Democratic governors?
	That means nothing to Democrats.

	Just like it means nothing to put people out of work for nearly a year.
	means nothing because they all have their salaries.
	What was done yesterday was despicable by these people today.

	But the reaction of our side is infinitely more decent than their side.
	There is no comparison, as I said, to this man who refused to dialogue for good reason, I might add.

	It looks like John Ossoff is going to beat David Perdue and that the Senate Control will pass to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.
	How I shudder to say those words.
	But it'll be a 51-50 Senate.
	We have been there once before, after the election of George W. Bush in overtime, until Jim Jeffords jumped in 2001. It was a 50-50 Senate.
	They split the committees at that time, 50-50.
	I assume they will do the same.
	Nevertheless, that means judicial confirmations of all but the most extraordinarily Controversial judges will go through, confirmations for all the nominees will go through, and taxes will skyrocket.
	Now, Senator Joe Manchin has said he will not support ending the filibuster, so that means nothing else besides the reconciliation bills, which typically have to do with finance and taxes.
	They could have immigration reform attached to them if they tax people in the regularization pool.

	I made a mistake and I need to correct it immediately.
	The riots began in May with the George Floyd death.
	And what I should say is, I remember a general silence from Joe Biden on the issue.
	I'm sure he issued statements that is correct, in that regard that is correct, and within a week of the riots beginning.
	Still not presidential.
	But the silence of the left with regard to the riots, the acceptance of the rioters by Democratic governors, how many were prosecuted in any city?
	When Portland was taken over, a section of Portland, a section of Seattle, by Marxist groups in Out, you know, taking over a police station.
	What was that, in Seattle?
	Where were the democratic governors and mayors?
	It strains credulity.
	In other words, it's dishonest to deny that there was tacit support for the riots, let alone few condemnations.
	So I acknowledge the Joe Biden statements, which I don't remember.
	Most of you don't remember the general reaction.
	The entire world of the Democratic Party was silence vis-a-vis the rioters.
	But the most important is the lack of prosecution.
	Let alone lack of condemnation on the part of Democratic Party officials in all of these cities.
	This is not history that I will allow to be rewritten.
	So I retract my statement with regard to...
	I was wrong factually about when the riots began.
	They began in May.
	They did not begin in March.

	It's very important.
	First thing here has to be truth.
	The reactions of Republican senators, Lindsey Graham and others, were so vociferous and so immediate, and nothing was looted and nothing was burned.
	I mean, there are gradations of evil, as I have always said.
	People who boarded up their stores, nobody is boarding up their stores because of the fear of right-wing riots.
	Is that correct?
	I mean, I couldn't condemn yesterday's riot more vociferously than I did, and I will continue to do so.
	But if we lose moral perspective and factual perspective, then we have no ability to claim any moral compass that works.
	Are people boarding up their stores?
	As a result of yesterday, because of fear of right-wing riots.
	As I said to you, though, earlier, I spoke to some people, all young.
	I spoke to some young people.
	And their reactions were very interesting.
	We can't take it anymore, was the general reaction of young people.
	I'm going to have a Zoom call with a bunch of young people.
	In one of the states in the east.
	And all they do is see these young people who love the country, and all they see is the country being ripped away from them.
	They see people who hate it coming into power.
	They are deprived of the ability to make a living by democratic governors and democratic mayors.
	You can make a living in Florida.
	Because there's a Republican governor.
	As I have said for all of this time, since March, people with jobs are taking away the jobs of others.
	Right?
	Gavin Newsom and Eric Garcetti get their salaries.
	They don't suffer the consequences of their policies.
	That's the point with all of these lockdowns.
	The people, is Fauci's standard of living been reduced?
	One iota?
	The lack of empathy for the people that they cause to suffer is so profound that you can choke on it.
	Think of yourself as a young person who loves this country and has been put out of work by a Democratic mayor or governor and who sees everything they cherish, like the flag burned and sat down for, kneeled for at a sporting event.

	But fires have been started.
	I love the passive thing.

	CNN labels burning protest fiery but mostly peaceful.
	This is an actual chyron.

	Democratic National Convention refused to condemn the riots.
	Democrats went through the entire online convention without condemning the epidemic of left-wing violence that engulfed the nation in the preceding months.

	The New York Times architect of the 1619 project, Nicole Hannah-Jones, explicitly rejected the idea that destroying property fits the definition of violence.

	Trump's efforts August 30th to label what is happening in major cities as riots speaks at least somewhat to his desperation, politically speaking, at the moment.
	New York Times columnist finds Portland anarchists in peace titled, Help Me Find Trump's Anarchists in Portland.
	Okay, you got the point?
	There are 28 examples of this.
	So this is how the left reacted to the riots.
	Compare that to how the right reacted to the mob.
	I think mob is the better word.
	The mob that invaded the Capitol.
	I don't have a problem calling it a riot.
	I just want to know what the precise term is.
	If burning down businesses is a riot, burning police cars is a riot, what is taking over offices?
	By the way, they took over offices during Brett Kavanaugh's hearing.
	They took over Senate offices.
	You probably don't even remember that because the press didn't bother reporting it like they did yesterday.

	Because you judge people not by are there any bad people on their side.

	It's one of the major reasons I'm devoting so much of my life to my Bible commentary, because I am enamored of the Bible, specifically in my case.
	I think the whole Bible is great, but in my case I'm talking about the Old Testament.
	And there is a feature in the Old Testament which is unique to religion.
	Constant moral condemnation of the people of that book.
	The Israelites, Hebrews, Jews, whatever you wish to call them, are constantly, constantly criticized as not being moral enough.
	That's why I believe there is a divine authorship to this.
	No people make up a history where all they are are criticized.
	So, it has great moral stature, the Bible, because it so criticizes its own.
	The left doesn't criticize its own.
	That's the difference.
	That's a huge difference.
	You criticize the students who take over presidents' offices routinely at universities?
	You're canceled, baby.
	You can't condemn these.
	These anarchists, these revolutionaries who take over the offices of deans and presidents.
	What you can do is order in food for them.

	Did anybody suggest that they were undermining our democracy?
	When a third of the Democrat congressional delegation refuses to attend President Trump's inauguration, does that undermine the integrity of our democracy?
	Does that give our allies and enemies the impression that the American people are not behind their government and therefore America is not stable?
	Two and a half years, three years, this investigation into President Trump for allegedly colluding with the Russians, did that...
	Did that undermine the integrity of our country?
	Did that give solace to our enemies and cause discomfort to our allies?
	When you said that the 25th Amendment should be invoked, AOC, and all you other Democrats because the president was mentally unfit, did that undermine the integrity and stability of our democracy?

	And even President Obama went to see Billy at his home in Montreat, North Carolina.
	And you could arguably say Billy had a relationship with Donald Trump, not when he was president, but when he was still a businessman because Trump came to Billy's 95th birthday party and sat at the table with them.
	So they had a conversation and a relationship.
	So to me, this is a beautiful thing.
	It's like, you know, we want to, you know, Paul says he becomes all things to all men that he might win them to Christ.
	And it doesn't mean we compromise our views.

	The people who engaged in this did something that was in equal parts stupid and wrong.

	The phony reaction of the left.
	For whom real rioting, real destruction, the burning down of people's stores, the burning of police cars.
	The intimidation of people dining, the takeover of areas of a city to create their own little world, that meant nothing to the left.

	Day after day, they were supported by Democratic mayors, supported by Democratic governors.
	Takeover of the Senate offices by anti-Kavanaugh protesters.
	Not a peep in the left-wing world.
	It's basically not even covered.
	Whereas the New York Times and all the other papers have these gigantic headlines about yesterday.
	Any headlines that they had all summer of 2020. Was protests against racism, protests against George Floyd killing.
	In other words, it was tacit support.
	In fact, so supportive, thousands of people in the health world, doctors and others, said it was okay to demonstrate, even though they had been speaking about social distancing, it's okay to demonstrate against racism.
	That's a health benefit.
	Republicans have more honor in one day than the Democrats have over the course of decades.

	The children are suffering.
	We don't know if the shock that they're going through can ever be overcome.

	Never happened in American history.
	I don't think it's happened in world history.

	But even there, they don't want people not to work.
	They're happy for them to work.
	You can't make a living.
	And they get re-elected by people who can't make a living.
	How's that?
	That blacks vote Democrat is mind-boggling.
	Let's vote for the people who hurt us.

	There was no rational reason.
	There's no rational reason for a Jew to vote Democrat.
	But Jews aren't hurt because Jews are not in the lower middle class, as many blacks are.

	Jews think it's American Jews.
	Israeli Jews have the opposite view of the world from American Jews.

	American Jews think that socialism and associated ideas are noble.

	When you stop believing in Judaism, you start believing in other isms.
	Just like when you stop believing in Christianity, you start believing in secular religions.
	The phenomenon is not unknown among Christians.
	The difference is a Jew who couldn't care less about being Jewish is still called a Jew, whereas a Christian who couldn't care less about being called a Christian is not called a Christian.

	George Soros is called a Jew.
	He has zero Jewish identity.
	He has contempt for Israel.
	He has contempt for religion.
	But he's called a Jew.

	No, the response of Democrats to riots, to burning down businesses, to destroying people's livelihoods, is to defund police or reduce the police forces.

	You have to understand, every institution, half this country has contempt for every institution that has been taken over by the left, which is every institution, college, high school, elementary school.

	The culture of the United States of America.
	So I think there's multiple avenues for that to become within the realm of possibility here in the next few months and years.

	It's happening because normal people, because people that love their country, the pressure release valves that were built for them no longer work.

	And then I noticed this scaffolding.
	And they had been there in advance.
	They were up three stories on the scaffolding with bullhorns in front of us and on scaffolding the left and the right saying, "Patriots forward!
	Patriots forward!
	You gotta keep coming!" And we just thought, I mean, this is grandmas, kids, kids were there that were being tear gassed.
	And we just thought it was part of the event.
	And then we noticed apparently what had happened to Dennis' anti-truck at a banquet.
	Somebody told me an FBI agent told them that they dropped off a whole busload of entities.
	I didn't see it, but I do know this.
	They were clearly there when we got there, telling us where to go.
	They had knocked down all the barriers, so we just walked right on up.
	And what you did not, and I was there 20 yards from the, what do you call it, the Washington Monument side of the Capitol, whatever side that is, and I saw what was going on there, and we were all just, these pages with our mouths chopped open, and as we heard people say, pass the mace, pass the mace, but they had camo.
	Baseball bat, it was Antifa.
	We were patchy.
	It was a highly orchestrated, in my mind, as I would step on it, I'd go, this was designed, they planned it, they were their event.
	Well, let me, all right, listen, thank you, and thank you for going.
	I just, I will tell you this.
	Nothing helped Antifa as much as yesterday.
	I have zero knowledge, zero idea of whether any Antifa were involved here.
	Unless I see a picture of them getting off a bus, I'm skeptical.
	However, it's eminently possible because you always have to ask, who benefits?

	But people were getting shot with rubber bullets.

	There was a set of stairs going up under some bleachers for the inauguration, and they basically pulled back and opened that set of stairs up, and people started funneling up.
	They got up to the front porch of the building and were banging on doors, banging on windows, and they found a set of doors that were open, that were unlocked, and people walked in.
	So it wasn't like they busted the windows out of the building.
	Well, they did.
	I saw pictures of busted windows.
	Not just the windows.
	I saw them pictures of busting windows.
	There were a couple of windows inside the building.
	We were on the front porch.
	We didn't go in the building.
	I wasn't going to go that far, but we walked up to the front door.
	Well, why wouldn't you enter the building?
	I didn't want to go that far.
	Okay, so then you have to condemn the people who did go that far.

	What I am thinking this is all headed towards is a national divorce, which is a completely different thing.

	Oh yeah, where 10 or 12 Republican states get together and they say, well, they just say, we're going to peacefully separate.
	Well, actually, there's a way to do the opposite of that as well.
	If you look at the framework for the convention of states idea to call another constitutional convention, theoretically, you could also expel a state that you feel no longer falls into.
	The culture of the United States of America.
	So I think there's multiple avenues for that to become within the realm of possibility here in the next few months and years.
	And look, again, I want to say, why is this happening?
	Why is this all happening?
	It's happening because normal people, because people that love their country, the pressure release valves that were built for them no longer work.
	The elections no longer work.
	Free speech no longer works.
	Freedom of speech is how you are able to express your disagreements.
	Freedom of speech is how you are able to speak, just be able to voice not just your opinions, but get things off of your chest, right?
	When all of that disappears, people manifest that into violence.
	We have said this so many times, right?
	There are two ways to govern people.
	Through speech, rationale, and persuasion, or by force.
