Dennis Prager Show - LA District Attorney's Plan to Ruin Los Angeles Aired: 2020-12-10 Duration: 05:05 === George Gascon's Plan (05:05) === [00:00:00] The people of Los Angeles, in their infinite stupidity, because they will be hurt by it, have elected... [00:00:10] It's not even traditional leftism. [00:00:15] It's just pure chaos that this man stands for, George Gascon. [00:00:22] He was the DA in San Francisco, so now he's going to ruin two cities in California. [00:00:31] Heather McDonald, writing in the New York Post, Los Angeles' newly elected attorney, district attorney, George Gascon, has a plan for ensuring compliance with the county's draconian stay-at-home orders, make the city so dangerous that Angelenos will be terrified to step outside. [00:00:54] So here is the example. [00:00:56] Gascon's office will no longer prosecute a wide range of misdemeanor offenses. [00:01:01] Number one, trespass. [00:01:04] Los Angeles streets in all but its wealthiest neighborhoods are already overrun by squalid encampments. [00:01:12] Business owners who have managed so far to survive the lockdown regularly have to sweep vagrants off their property in the morning. [00:01:23] Along with feces and drug paraphernalia. [00:01:28] The vagrant won't leave. [00:01:30] Don't bother calling the police. [00:01:32] Any arrest an officer makes will simply be dismissed. [00:01:36] If a homeowner sees a vagrant climbing the fence to his house, he will have to deal with it himself. [00:01:43] Driving without a license or driving with a suspended license, the risk of being... [00:01:48] So I guess this will be another example. [00:01:51] That will be two. [00:01:52] The first one is, can you imagine that? [00:01:54] Dropping the laws of trespass? [00:02:01] I'm speechless. [00:02:03] Rare for a talk show host. [00:02:06] Driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. [00:02:09] The risk of being hit and possibly killed by a drunk driver or by someone who just can't operate a car just went up. [00:02:18] In a SOP to the illegal immigrant lobby. [00:02:23] So you won't be prosecuted if you drive without a license? [00:02:27] So why get a license to begin with? [00:02:32] Let alone having a suspended license. [00:02:35] If you have a suspended license, there's a reason for that. [00:02:39] But LA, this is considered progressive thought. [00:02:43] Whenever I show you how despicable the left is, People on the left will go, oh no, that's not how I think. [00:02:53] He just takes extreme examples. [00:02:55] This guy's the district attorney of Los Angeles. [00:02:59] Is that an extreme example? [00:03:05] Liberals are naive. [00:03:06] The left is evil. [00:03:09] The naivete of liberals is what is causing the decay of the society. [00:03:14] Because there are a large number of liberals. [00:03:17] And they don't have the courage to vote Republican. [00:03:25] They've been brainwashed into believing conservatives are their enemy, not the left. [00:03:34] Disturbing the peace, Los Angeles has seen a spate of shootings at rowdy illegal house parties. [00:03:40] Too bad if such a party breaks out on your block. [00:03:44] Just hope that no one feels dissed. [00:03:47] And pulls a gun. [00:03:49] Interesting. [00:03:50] So you have a 3 a.m. [00:03:52] extremely loud party next door or in the apartment next door and you can't call the police. [00:04:00] People know what they voted for? [00:04:04] Not done. [00:04:05] Public intoxication. [00:04:09] The sister of an assassinated Chicago cop warned in the Chicago Sun-Times this summer. [00:04:14] That illegal drug and alcohol use on residential streets easily escalates into fatal shootings because the perpetrators think no one cares. [00:04:24] See, they want to destroy civilization. [00:04:26] The reason for prosecuting public intoxication was in order to keep civilization intact. [00:04:37] The left only knows how to destroy it. [00:04:40] It builds nothing. [00:04:42] Every day I give you an example. [00:04:44] Every single day. [00:04:47] But people are not fighters. [00:04:49] Even people who hear me. [00:04:52] Many people are. [00:04:53] But most people, alright, he's exaggerating a little. [00:05:00] He doesn't, you know. [00:05:02] But my brother-in-law is on the left.
