One of the things that's gone terribly wrong is we're being told that we should not listen to our own life experience or common sense in favor of experts.
When you're hearing things that contradict your own life experience, It's not that you couldn't be wrong, your life experience.
It's just that you must be very, very suspicious, and you should not automatically listen to experts over your own life experience.
If everything you ever knew for the last 30 or 50 years on the planet doesn't jive with what the quote-unquote experts are saying, it's very likely the experts are saying something for a different motive.
