Dennis Prager Show - Ann Coulter: "This is the Most Left-Wing Ticket We've Ever Seen!" Aired: 2020-11-02 Duration: 06:37 === Prediction vs. Reality (05:54) === [00:00:00] No, it is terrifying what the other side has become, which is why I would love for them to get a good thumping and they could reconsider. [00:00:11] I mean, this is the most left-wing ticket we've ever seen. [00:00:16] The craziness with the transgenders and men menstruating. [00:00:22] It's going to be, if the worst happens, pedal to the metal on identity politics. [00:00:29] It will be completely hands-off Wall Street. [00:00:32] You won't get any of the good stuff out of the, you know, Bernie bro types. [00:00:36] Oh, no, no, no, no, no. [00:00:37] Wall Street, no, we're here waiting with your bailout. [00:00:40] I mean, remember during that debate when Elizabeth Warren owned Michael Bloomberg, what was her complaint with Wall Street? [00:00:51] It was that they were sexist. [00:00:55] There were all these sex discrimination lawsuits, and she was demanding that Michael Bloomberg release the non-disclosure agreement. [00:01:02] And I'm sitting there watching, thinking, wait, that's your complaint with Wall Street? [00:01:07] Not that, oh, I don't know, they wrecked the economy, made us bail them out, and then were paying themselves multiple million-dollar bonuses six months later? [00:01:18] You'd think they'd wait a few years. [00:01:19] Hey, let's go easy on the bonuses. [00:01:21] Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no. [00:01:22] And they are... [00:01:24] They are hand in glove with the Democratic Party. [00:01:26] So if you think you're getting any of the good stuff out of the left, no, it is nothing but bad. [00:01:32] It's going to be woke politics all the way down. [00:01:36] That's the fear. [00:01:38] And crime is the biggest fear, which is why I must say I did not think it was the smartest campaign move. [00:01:48] To keep attacking Biden for the crime bill and using the phrase super predators. [00:01:54] There were super predators. [00:01:55] There probably are. [00:01:56] They were in prison. [00:01:57] Now they're being released. [00:01:59] Crime is an issue that has traditionally been probably the Republicans' biggest issue. [00:02:05] Unfortunately, then Republicans get elected. [00:02:07] They solve the crime issue, starting with Giuliani and a lot with Ronald Reagan and changing judges and building prisons. [00:02:13] The crime issue goes away, and we can no longer run on it. [00:02:17] Once again, the left, you know, hands trump this gift of releasing criminals in Democratic cities, crime through the roof, mostly black men being killed in astonishing numbers. [00:02:31] And this is just the beginning because the prisoners are just being released. [00:02:35] And I assume this was a Jared Kushner, Sean Hannity idea. [00:02:41] Let's attack Biden for being too tough on crime. [00:02:45] That wouldn't have been my suggestion. [00:02:47] I happen to agree with you. [00:02:54] My view, Ann, is the left is so utterly destructive. [00:02:59] We are literally on our way to a socialist, communist-type society. [00:03:08] And the proof is that communist is not a bad word any longer. [00:03:12] Yes. [00:03:13] That's the proof. [00:03:16] And what is it, 40% of young people think it's a positive name or a positive notion? [00:03:23] So to me, you said that voting against is not sufficient. [00:03:31] I think it is. [00:03:32] I hope you're right. [00:03:34] I mean in terms of a prediction, but you're right. [00:03:37] What's the point in making a prediction? [00:03:38] We're going to know in 48 hours. [00:03:39] Well, yeah, no, I wasn't making in terms of prediction. [00:03:42] Oh, I didn't know you meant in terms of prediction. [00:03:44] I see. [00:03:45] Yeah. [00:03:45] I just said... [00:03:46] Oh, I definitely think it's enough of a motivation. [00:03:49] Yes, that's right. [00:03:50] It's certainly what's getting me to the polls. [00:03:51] Okay. [00:03:52] 100% degree, I thought, speaking of what you just said, I see that it's all the time. [00:03:57] Pete Buttigieg on TV last night explaining that, you know, people are afraid of words like socialism because they think of... [00:04:06] Much meaner socialist countries, which, well, they just used the word socialism, but they weren't. [00:04:11] And then they're always citing countries like Sweden. [00:04:15] Right. [00:04:15] But I can't help but notice that one thing that distinguishes Sweden's socialism from other countries' socialism is that it is a totally homogeneous society. [00:04:26] That's right. [00:04:27] Which I've pointed out over and over when people speak about crime rates compared to Europe. [00:04:33] Compare North Dakota to Europe. [00:04:38] It's easy to have a low crime rate when everybody is the same religion, same ethnicity, same nationality, same language. [00:04:47] That's easy. [00:04:48] Yes, and same hundred years of having violence beaten out of them. [00:04:53] I'm always pointing out, probably in all of human history, there has never been such a Pacific creature, certainly with a Y chromosome, as the modern American white male. [00:05:07] God, is that ever true. [00:05:09] God, is that ever true. [00:05:11] Which is why it's so funny to hear the liberals worried that Trump supporters might riot. [00:05:16] Oh, for Pete's sake, forget the last six months. [00:05:19] Have you noticed the last six years, the last 20 years? [00:05:23] Has there been a right-wing riot? [00:05:28] No. [00:05:29] I think the closest we got was back, well, I guess it was in the 60s or the 68, the quote, Hardhat riot in New York against the hippies. [00:05:38] And that was, you know, well-deserved. === Tomorrow's Futility (00:58) === [00:05:41] Well, that's 52 years ago. [00:05:44] If you have to go back 52 years, that means all riots have been from the left. [00:05:50] All. [00:05:51] Yeah. [00:05:52] That's a big deal. [00:05:55] What book do you want to promote? [00:05:57] Because I love your work. [00:05:59] Well, today you should read in Trump We Trust. [00:06:04] Tomorrow, well, if he wins, resistance is futile. [00:06:07] That just explains if the Democrats lose tomorrow, it's not going to be because of an amazing campaign by Trump, or even Trump keeping his promises. [00:06:18] And by the way, if he had kept his promises, this would be Reagan in 1984. We wouldn't even be worried about it, but put that aside. [00:06:27] It is because the left has lost its mind in hatred. [00:06:31] They're taking absolutely insane positions. [00:06:33] Okay, that's sufficient. [00:06:35] All right, Anne, thank you.
