Dennis Prager Show - Dennis Recaps the VP Debate Aired: 2020-10-08 Duration: 05:51 === The Plan to Save Our Country (05:50) === [00:00:00] One in five businesses closed. [00:00:03] We're looking at frontline workers who have been treated like sacrificial workers. [00:00:09] Did you understand that line? [00:00:11] Go on. [00:00:13] ...who have been treated like sacrificial workers. [00:00:17] We are looking at over 30 million people who in the last several months had to file for unemployment. [00:00:25] It's because of the lockdown, not because of the virus. [00:00:28] Just for the record. [00:00:29] We haven't done that one yet. [00:00:33] Hmm. [00:00:36] This is the greatest failure of any presidential administration in the history of our country. [00:00:42] Because another administration, we would have had how many dead? [00:00:46] Zero? [00:00:47] Do you realize as well, it's 210,000. [00:00:51] Is that the number she gave? [00:00:53] Yeah. [00:00:55] So, let's say it had been 100,000. [00:00:58] You don't think she would have said the exact same thing? [00:01:02] 100,000 Americans dead. [00:01:07] Why? [00:01:08] So, was this the second biggest failure? [00:01:10] Who was President 68-69? [00:01:13] Johnson? [00:01:14] Yeah. [00:01:16] So, the second greatest failure in administration... [00:01:19] No, no, Nixon, 68-69. [00:01:20] 68-61. [00:01:21] Nixon was elected in 68, November 68. So Johnson was president when it started. [00:01:31] Anyway, either way, my point has nothing to do with the party. [00:01:35] It has to do with the lie. [00:01:39] No matter what, do you understand if the number had been 50,000, she would have said 50,000 people dead. [00:01:48] By the way, to show you how ignorant her comment is, Over 7 million people have contracted the disease. [00:01:58] Doesn't that show how small the death rate is of this particular variant of the flu? [00:02:09] Isn't that obvious? [00:02:11] Isn't it obvious as well the more you test, the more cases you have? [00:02:16] The vast majority of these people didn't even know they were sick. [00:02:19] Thank you. [00:02:20] Or they thought they might have a cold. [00:02:27] Next, please. [00:02:30] And in spite of all of that, today they still don't have a plan. [00:02:35] They still don't have a plan. [00:02:37] Well, Joe Biden does. [00:02:38] And our plan is about what we need to do around a national strategy for contact tracing, for testing, for administration of the vaccine and making sure that it will be free for all. [00:02:50] That is the plan that Joe Biden has and that I have, knowing that we have to get a hold of what has been going on and we need to save our country. [00:02:59] Oh my God. [00:03:00] That's their plan. [00:03:02] Contact tracing. [00:03:05] They have a plan like I have a camel. [00:03:16] Yeah. [00:03:17] You know my camel. [00:03:20] You have a very warm and affectionate relationship with him. [00:03:26] By the way, you know that camels are ill-tempered? [00:03:28] Are you aware of that? [00:03:32] Anyway, this is not anti-camel. [00:03:35] I know that there what is? [00:03:40] No, there is no plan. [00:03:42] This is not a plan. [00:03:43] This is a joke. [00:03:45] We have a plan. [00:03:47] How will that plan reduce the number of people? [00:03:50] He doesn't have a plan, the president, for a vaccine? [00:03:53] Which, by the way, a substantial portion of Americans will not take. [00:03:59] She said she'll be the first in line to take it. [00:04:01] That's fine. [00:04:03] I'm not telling anybody not to take it. [00:04:05] I've taken every vaccine known to humanity. [00:04:09] I've given my children all the vaccines. [00:04:12] I would not take this vaccine. [00:04:15] But I am not recommending that others not. [00:04:17] I merely, I'm open with you. [00:04:19] I'm taking hydroxychloroquine, which is now, it's now the butt of a joke on the left. [00:04:25] It is a joke to them. [00:04:29] History will record how vile these people are. [00:04:33] The pro-lockdown people. [00:04:36] The anti-hydroxychloroquine people. [00:04:43] History will record it, providing the left doesn't write the history. [00:04:46] That's always an issue. [00:04:50] That's their plan. [00:04:52] Wow, what a plan. [00:04:55] Contact tracing, testing. [00:04:57] Wait, they're not doing testing now? [00:05:00] They're not going to administer the vaccine? [00:05:02] There's nothing different except for, let's see, contact tracing. [00:05:10] All right. [00:05:12] Next, please. [00:05:14] More than 115 million tests have been done to date. [00:05:17] We were able to see to the delivery of billions of supplies, so our doctors and nurses had the resources and support they needed. [00:05:24] And we began, really, before the month of February was hard, to develop a vaccine and to develop medicines and therapeutics. [00:05:31] It had been saving lives all along the way. [00:05:33] And under President Trump's leadership, Operation Warp Speed, we believe, will have literally tens of millions of doses of a vaccine before the end of this year. [00:05:42] The reality is, when you look at the Biden plan, it reads an awful lot, like what President Trump and I and our task force have been doing every step of the way.
