Alright everybody, you're listening to The Dennis Prager Show.
Intentionally or unintentionally.
Some of you might be in your parents' car.
And that's whom I'm referring to generally.
There might be the unintentional somebody found a radio.
Turned it on and the person prior to that person was listening to the station I'm on.
In any event, welcome to the program.
And I hate to start out, I'd like to start out with a positive. .
Give me a positive.
Give me a really positive thought about Okay, I'll accept that.
We have not seen locusts yet.
We've certainly seen darkness in Southern California.
It's going backwards, the plagues.
That's right, Donald Trump is still President of the United States.
Very good.
That was a good one.
Leave it to the living martyr to come up with the happiest thought.
That's a bad sign.
If the living martyr is the one who comes up with the happiest thought, that is not a good sign.
You know, I answer you very often when you go, how are you then?
You know, because how are you is the American way of saying hello.
So I've often been saying, I'm fine, my country isn't.
The reason I say that is, that's what I feel.
I don't hide from you what I feel.
I have too much respect for you.
I have too much respect for me, for that matter.
I can't fake it.
I've never been good at faking.
There's an attempt to undo the American Revolution.
It's a very serious threat.
Reading Michael Anton's book, and it reinforces...
My understanding of what has happened, which is that this began a hundred years ago with Woodrow Wilson and, was it Thomas Dewey?
What's Dewey's first name?
John Dewey?
Was Dewey his first name and Decimal his last name?
How many people...
Hey, Sean, did you ever hear of the Dewey Decimal System?
You were taught it?
You could probably read cursive, you're so old.
Do you know, folks, there are times I sign a book to a young person.
I write something in cursive and they ask me what I wrote.
But they are learning about how systemically racist America is and what preferred pronouns are about.
And that's why you shouldn't send your kid to most schools in the United States.
Yes.
Do you know about the...
University of Chicago.
This just came out this morning.
Department of English.
Since its founding, the English department at the University of Chicago is committed to questioning and reformulating the basic principles of literary study.
Once famous for the Aristotelian Chicago School of Criticism of the 1950s, Today the department ranked first among English departments in the U.S. Who ranked them first?
U.S. News and World Report?
Stands out for its interdisciplinary approach to literature and its commitment to close reading combined with historical and conceptual analysis.
So they've put out a statement here.
The English department at the university...
If Chicago believes that black lives matter, that's the group, and that the lives of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McCade, and Rayshard Brooks matter, right?
But do they know the circumstances in each case?
Okay, I won't even go into that right now.
As do thousands of others named and unnamed who have been subject to police violence.
Wow.
So it's a defamation of police?
Thousands?
I thought it was more like 15. Thousands?
They're not saying they were killed.
Police violence.
Okay, not killed.
And the thousands of whites, that's a coincidence.
When you interact violently with police, that's police violence.
As literary scholars, we attend...
Oh, that's such academies.
Who talks that way?
Do you attend to the histories?
Atmospheres.
Oh, my God.
Atmospheres.
How's your atmosphere?
Is it cool?
Is it tense?
I'd like to incorporate that into my language.
By the way, today, in honor of the University of Chicago History Department, instead of asking me, how are you, Dennis?
Ask me, how's your atmosphere, Dennis?
Right?
And we can explain.
It's in honor of the...
The garbage that comes out of the University of Chicago Department of English.
We're honoring the University of Chicago, which was once a great university.
It was really a standout.
It's one of the last to fall victim to communism.
We attend to the histories, atmospheres, and scenes of anti-black racism and racial violence in the United States and across the world.
We are committed to the struggle of black and indigenous people and all racialized and dispossessed people against inequality and brutality.
For the 2020-2021 graduate admissions cycle, the University of Chicago English Department is accepting only applicants interested in working in and with black studies.
We understand black studies to be a capacious intellectual project.
That spans a variety of methodological approaches, fields, geographical areas, languages, and time periods.
Oh.
So you can't get into the English department there if you don't study...
If you don't study what?
Black studies.
Whatever that means.
English departments have been notorious in being left-wing.
Why you would pay your child to learn to hate America and police?
You know, police are shot at now more often than before, just randomized shooting.
Is any of the rhetoric of the left responsible for that?
One can only hope that Major League Baseball, football, and the NBA have such awful ratings.
I know.
I know.
This is truly anecdotal.
I acknowledge it.
Though, as someone has said, statistics are the compilation of anecdotes, which is probably true.
Enough anecdotes is a statistic.
The number of people who have written to me to tell me they're a lifelong, and then you fill in the name of the team, fan.
And now they can't stand their team.
And you're right.
Cheer for people who have contempt for you in the country.
Read the second sentence of the next paragraph.
Okay.
Together with students, we attend.
Both attend.
Yes, we attend.
What is attend?
I don't even understand what it means here.
We attend to.
Oh, it comes with an atmosphere?
We attend to your atmosphere.
We attend both to literature's capacity to normalize violence and derive pleasure from its aesthetic expression.
Are you kidding me?
You notice, by the way, this is one of the features of all leftism.
Generalizations with no specifics.
I'm a generalizations fan, but I always give examples.
Every column I write, here's my generalization.
This is the specific.
My Tuesday column went up, unfortunately, 12 hours late.
But it is a very important column on the concept of the moral on the left.
I might talk about it in the ultimate issues hour.
When I'm not done?
And ways to use the representation of that violence to reorganize how we address making and breaking life.
I have no idea what that means.
God, you're not only wasting your money going to the University of Chicago, English Department.
You're hurting yourself.
Trending now on the Larry Elder Show.
Wendy is in Rancho Cordova, California.
Wendy, you're on the Larry Elder Show with Dr. Strom.
Just today on NBC, after work and watching, you got that Rosen report, and he's got these people on Skype having them do their temperature with various things.
They all supposedly have COVID, but they're all not.
Testing with a high temperature, it's either 98.1 or 97 or, you know, so isn't that the big key?
Everybody's taking everybody's temperature to decide whether or not they can go through an entrance or something?
Wendy, look, temperature is the only objective thing that we can test.
When I come into the hospital every day...
I get my temperature checked, they spray my hands with a disinfectant, and they ask me if I have any COVID symptoms.
Temperature is the only thing you can do objectively because, you know, this virus can be like a cold.
You can have a sore throat, you can have a lack of taste, you can have a lack of smell, you could have some shortness of breath.
I mean, you know, there's fires here.
I mean, everybody can have these symptoms.
So the only symptom we can reliably or the only objective sign is the temperature.
However...
Frequently, 40% of patients with COVID are totally asymptomatic, don't even have that.
So just because you don't have a fever doesn't mean you cannot have COVID, but it's the only objective measure we can do to determine if somebody may be infectious.
And also, if you have a fever, though, it doesn't necessarily mean you have COVID. More likely than not, you do not have COVID with a fever.

The attack in LA County, those two police officers, one a 31-year-old mother of six.
Somebody tried to paint this as random violence, a local council member.
Stephanie, walking up to a police car and shooting two police officers in the head isn't random or accidental, is it?
This is not random.
We can thank the Democrats for stoking this violence and hatred against police officers.
They've been doing this for years.
We've seen it escalate as of recently, thanks to this defund police movement, the Black Lives Matter movement.
This video was really shocking.
It made me want to cry to see somebody pull out a gun and just shoot these two police officers point blank.
I mean, just, it's unbelievable.
And there's a lot of silence from the left on this.
And then the ones who are speaking out, like Joe Biden, they're calling for gun control.
What gun control measure would have stopped this criminal from shooting police officers?
Because if they were tougher gun laws in California, I'm sure he wouldn't have shot those two police officers in the head.
Right, Steph?
Correct, because the gun laws aren't already some of the strictest in the nation, of course.
So Biden is just so out of touch.
If you're going to speak on an issue like this, at least say something intelligent, have some compassion for the police officers who were shot.
And what really bothered me, aside from all of this, is did you see this video that was going viral of a man who was live streaming the aftermath of the shooting?
He had his cell phone out, and I don't know if these were his friends or there were other guys just in the background.
They're laughing about what happened.
They're celebrating that two police officers, quote-unquote, got aired out.

Hello.
Hello, everybody.
We're told that these fires in California, where I am witness to, I look outside the window here, I see nothing virtually, just smoke.
And we're not in the immediate vicinity.
The smoke is all over.
You walk outside your house here.
You breathe in smoke.
You smell smoke.
There was a song in the 50s.
I smell smoke in the auditorium.
Charlie Brown.
He's a clown.
Want to find that, Sean?
That I just engaged in a level of absurdity that even for me stretches The boundaries.
It's all blamed on global warming, because truth is not a left-wing value, and if everybody says it, it must be true, and everybody is the left-wing press, which is redundant.
The press is all left wing with very few exceptions Alright, there you there you go

It's the Coasters?
Alright.
It goes like this, folks.
Beethoven's fifth.
Tchaikovsky's fourth.
Charlie Brown.
He's a clown.
Some people put it above Tchaikovsky's fourth.
But those people who do are homophobic because Tchaikovsky was gay.
I have a feeling that you always wonder, what does the left have left?
And then they dig up something.
There's so little racism in the country that they had to come up with microaggressions.
They had to just lie.
That if you say that there's only one race, the human race, gee, that's racist.
Or if you say that you're colorblind, or the ideal is to be colorblind, that's racist.
And people buy it, which has been depressing.
Watching the number of Americans who have bought the lies of the left has been one of the sad revelations of my life.
I always thought that brainwashing by media can only take place in a totalitarian state, not in a free country.
So you're told that it's global warming.
After all, they set a record in the L.A. area one day this summer.
So what?
One day's record?
As I live here, it was a generally very mild summer.
We had very few truly hot days.
One of them was extremely hot.
So there have also been records of record cold every winter, somewhere in the world, somewhere in the United States.
So what?
This is all to prepare you for, if God forbid the Democrats win, They will further wreck the economy of America.
The first wreckage is the lockdown.
The most imbecilic, vile national act in American history outside of slavery.
But that was not imbecilic.
It was just vile.
I mean, I'm talking about mistakes, not evils.
There's nothing to compare to this.
But it's become vile.
It started out as a mistake.
Where I live, you still can't dine in a restaurant.
California is 25th in the country, exact middle, in deaths per million.
Do you know that unless I acknowledge, this is what I'm about to tell you, it was so incredible that you understandably will want to look it up.
But I have read on so many sites that I trust.
That anyone who is tested positive with COVID and dies, COVID is listed as the reason, including...
Now, tell me if you understand this differently, looking at my producer.
You're in a car crash.
You die in the hospital.
After you've tested positive, You are listed as a COVID death.
There are many stories to that effect.
That is exactly right.
Not only that, you get more money as a hospital if it's a COVID patient.
Do you think hospitals are all saying, oh, we will forgo the money because we're not sure?
Not only that, this I did read from the CDC. If the doctor suspects...
That you had COVID. They list COVID. I hope that I am around.
I hope to be around for a long time.
But I don't know how long a time it will take for the truth to come out about how the American people were screwed.
I'm sorry to use such vulgarity.
If you can tell me a non-vulgar term that conveys The same emotional angst.
I will use it.
Befuddled?
Fooled?
Cheated?
Scammed?
Hoodwinked?
Doesn't quite do it, does it?
I'm sorry.
I am sorry, but I need to convey sometimes to convey the moral awfulness of an act.
You need the proper verb.
Same thing with the fires.
The environmentalists are far more responsible for these fires than global warming is.
We'll be back.

The whole idea of career politicians is anathema to the United States of America From Washington himself, they understood that if we the people are the government, we're supposed to pick from among we the people.
Joe Biden is the definition.
I mean, if you wrote a book.
And you said, what is the ultimate career politician?
The dude has been a senator, a senator since the early 1970s.
Can you even imagine?
Not in politics, not in politics, a senator.
And he has clearly benefited personally and his family has benefited personally.
And now he says he wants to run for president, and you think, wow, what record are you pointing to?
This is not looking very good for Joe Biden.
But I've looked into Biden, and one of the things I find interesting about a career politician is how they change their mind to benefit them to stay in politics.
It's like, I look back at Joe, all the racist things he said way back in the 70s, and these are public knowledge, and I'm going...
And now you're over here?
Or rather, it could be anything.
I don't care if it's abortion.
I don't care what it is.
They change to whatever the narrative is to get them elected.
And I find that just appalling.
I mean, you either have a moral compass and you stick with what you believe, or you don't change.
If you're changing just to keep your job, you have a different kind of agenda than what you're supposed to be.
And that's why we shouldn't have career politicians.

it's either 98.1 or 97 or you know so Hey everybody,
Dennis Prager here. Dennis Prager here.
I have a book in front of me, which is sort of like a wish list book.
I want to know about every president, because I think that the route to history is through biography.
For me, I don't say that's true for everybody.
But I learn more about history by learning about a single individual and the times.
In which that individual lived than I do reading some greater macro history.
So sure enough, a man with impeccable credentials, Robert Spencer, has written a book rating America's presidents.
There's something on every president, even William Henry Harrison, who was president for 30 days.
Robert Spencer...
Incidentally, is a Shulman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center.
This book is...
Oh, good.
Oh, here's the subtitle.
I like it.
The subtitle is An America First Look at Who is Best, Who is Overrated, and Who was an Absolute Disaster.
And the book is up at DennisPrager.com.
Robert Spencer, this must have been a blast.
Oh, it was a lot of fun, yeah.
Going through it, I had exactly the same experience you're talking about, that it really gives the sweep of American history via the lens of the adventures of each president and the evaluation of each president,
and in doing so, it provides an anecdote I have to admit, I've had you on for almost every book you've written, or every book, and you generally write on Islam.
So this is a change of pace for you.
Yeah, well this is something I've been interested in since I was a small child, as a matter of fact.
I remember When I was six or seven, learning all the president's names in order and so on and always been interested in it.
And it seems to me that the way that we are now having our history taken from us, it was imperative for there to be written some histories that would be written from the perspective of all the greatness that America has constituted.
And so I thought it's time now to branch out and diversify a bit.
Well, you did a good job.
So, I got a few questions.
First of all, which president, before you wrote the book, did you know the least about?
That would have to be somebody like General Grant, who I rated very high, who is ordinarily rated as a failure.
He's one of the ones that I rehabilitate in this book.
There are others who are revered everywhere, who I actually rate very low.
Well, we'll get to that in a moment.
I'm surprised.
So you knew less about Grant than about William Henry Harrison?
Well, William Henry Harrison, like you said, there's very little to say about him.
I do have in the book pretty much everything he did during those 30 days before he got sick.
It's actually a misnomer that people think that he got sick at his inauguration and was never functioning.
Yeah.
Actually, he functioned as president.
He stood up to Daniel Webster, who tried to take the control of the presidency from him.
He probably would have been a strong chief executive, but we'll never know.
Wait, wait, wait.
So forgive me.
What did he die of?
Oh, he did die of pneumonia.
There's no doubt.
But he contracted it on the 26th of March, and he died on April 4th.
He was inaugurated on March 4th.
So he was actually a functioning president for about three weeks.
Are autographs...
I always think about this because I get a kick out of autographs.
Are autographs of him as president very expensive?
You know, you've got me.
That is something I've never looked into.
Right, but it's an interesting question, isn't it?
I always think about that.
You know, autographs of John Adams.
Yes, exactly.
As president, yes.
I'm going to look that up.
It's a funny thing because actually in the book I've got where he wrote on a piece of paper President William Henry Harrison when his authority was being challenged in his own cabinet.
And he handed it to Webster and said, read this out.
And he said, President William Henry Harrison.
And he said, that's right.
Don't forget it.
And I'm going to make the decision that is at hand right now.
And so I wonder, is that paper around and who has it?
Yeah, no kidding.
Alright, we're going to be back in a moment.

Some of them lifelong Democrats, and I didn't want to meet them ahead of time.
I wanted to be very organic like my pillow ads are, and I wanted to be the host and ask them, well, why are you flipping?
And it was so powerful when these come out.
Some of the reasons, one of the common things that you just mentioned before was that we had talked about, so many of them said, you know, what I thought the Democratic Party was, where they always made promises for family values and to help people, I looked at, I started looking back and going, it never came to fruition after they got elected.

I'm Dennis Prager speaking with Robert Spencer, who is a sort of walking almanac.
Anybody, do kids know what an almanac is, by the way?
Robert, right?
I don't know if there are almanacs anymore.
Yes, do you know?
Google.
It gives you an idea how we were born with a nature like you, you know, memorized the presidents as a kid.

And I read it like a book.
I wanted to know as much as I could from the Almanac.
It was so much fun.
The population of every country.
You did that too.
I believe that.
Yes.
And the heads of state.
And the heads of state.
I can still name a lot of the heads of state from like 1974. That's valuable.
Useless information.
Well, maybe, yes.
No, no, I was joking.
I was joking.
I was with you on the useless.
Yes, exactly.
The same thing.
I understand.
I bought flag cards, which nobody remembers.
They were my version of baseball cards, which I also bought.
And I still know every flag in the world.
Oh, yeah.
What you learn as a kid, that is why it is so good for kids to memorize.
Oh, no doubt about it, yes.
And actually, it was that memorization that made me interested lifelong in U.S. history and led to this book.
Well, I want everybody to know how good your judgment is, because the litmus test for me is Calvin Coolidge.
And you give him 10 out of 10. And that's it.
So you won me over just with Coolidge.
Well, I love that.
If I were carving, re-carving Rushmore today, Coolidge would be right on it.
I'm with you.
And Theodore Roosevelt, I'm afraid, would have to be dropped off, along with Jefferson.
Jefferson, of course, was a greater statesman than a president, and he was great for writing the Declaration of Independence and being involved in the founding, but as president, he was not so affected.
Coolidge was effective in every way.
He lowered taxes, cut regulations, got the economy booming.
He kept us out of a dangerous and unnecessary foreign entanglement in terms of the League of Nations, the precursor to the United Nations, with the Dawes Plan named after his vice president, Charles Gates Dawes, who's actually the only president or vice president to have a hit single.
But in any case, The Dawes plan relaxed the reparations charges on Germany, which if it had been followed through, which it was not, then there might have been no Hitler, because Hitler was able to capitalize on the resentment that was caused by those reparations payments for World War I. Coolidge tried to head all that off.
How do you rate Wilson?
Wilson gets a zero out of ten.
Absolutely disastrous.
Of course, he set the stage for the internationalism that has plagued us for so long now with saying that we were entering World War I in order to make the world safe for democracy.
It sounds great.
It sounds noble and high-minded.
But really, we would expend our resources pretty quickly trying to make sure that all the other countries in the world have good government.
And meanwhile, American infrastructure is crumbling and Americans are suffering.
Having to pay for the benefit of everybody else.
And so Trump is to be commended for standing directly and explicitly against that internationalism in a way that has not been done in decades.
Who was president before Wilson?
William Howard Taft.
So when the country elected, when they went from the Republican Taft to the progressive Wilson, Were they aware of what they were voting for?
Almost certainly not.
In the first place, the waters were a bit muddied because Taft himself was a progressive Republican.
And Theodore Roosevelt then outflanked him and ran as an even greater progressive, which is one of the reasons why he's the only incumbent to finish third out of three, because he was not really a conservative, and yet...
There was no alternative for conservatives, and the Republicans were split.
If they had not been split, Wilson would never have been elected.
But he wasn't really chosen by the American people over those guys.
It's just that there were two Republican candidates.
And they were?
Teddy Roosevelt and Howard Taft.
Oh, Howard Taft ran for re-election.
I see.
So, putting aside Coolidge, I'm talking now prior to Coolidge.
Who was the last conservative Republican to serve as president?
Right before Coolidge, Harding.
He's one of the ones who's rated as a failure by most historians who I rate as right up at the top.
I would have given him a 10 out of 10 if it weren't for the Teapot Dome scandal, which is the only thing anybody remembers about him.
But I gave him a 9 out of 10 because he's the one really who got the roaring 20s roaring with His cuts on taxes and regulations, and he turned things around, ended a lot of the restrictions on the freedom of speech that Wilson had put in.
The socialist leader Eugene V. Debs was in prison solely for opposing World War I, and Harding freed him, restored a great deal of integrity to the American legal system in the process, and protected the First Amendment.
I've never asked a guest this, and it's painful to ask.
Would you have sent Americans over to fight in World War I? I don't think so.
It's, of course, easy for me to say over a hundred years later, but I don't see any compelling reason to get us involved in that conflict.
It's not like World War II. World War II, you have Hitler.
He's obviously evil.
People knew about what was going on to varying degrees in Europe, and that one absolutely we should have gotten involved in.
But World War I, Germany was not evil like that.
It was a matter of a war for hegemony over Europe, essentially, and even a lot of the people who were fighting it had no idea what it was all about.
As a matter of fact, a German soldier is famous for having said, Being shot at in France because an Austrian was killed in Serbia.
Oh God.
It's painful when you think about it.
Alright, we're going to be back in a moment.

Robert Spencer has left his normal scholarly writing and important writing on Islam in the Middle East to writing America's Presidents.
As far as I'm concerned, he's right on.
So, in this brief moments left, having done this survey, if you could go back to a certain time, And feel happiest as an American.
When would it be?
I would have to say 1921, right after World War I. We're out of the war and America is coming back again.
Time of prosperity is dawning.
I guess that would be tempered by, although I don't drink, it would be tempered by prohibition because I think that was a silly law.
But otherwise, it sounds great to be there.
Great time in arts and literature as well.
Interesting.
That's a hundred years ago.
Yes.
Wow.
What about the 50s?
The 50s is good, but I do note that Eisenhower is responsible to a tremendous degree for the one-party system that we essentially have had up until Donald Trump.
When he was elected, a lot of Republicans He thought assumed that he was going to roll back a lot of the New Deal big government programs.
And instead, he embraced them and he made the Republican Party embrace them.
He made the Republican Party into the limp, dishrag, McCain-Romney thing that it's been for the most part since then by making it essentially echo the Democratic Party agenda.
And the Democrats set the agenda.
The Republicans only say, oh, yes, we'll do that, but we could do it a little bit more efficiently.
That's exactly right.
That's why Democrats love Eisenhower.
They always say, oh, we have no problem with Republicans.
Look at our veneration of Dwight Eisenhower.
Yes, controlled opposition.
Why don't you call it the limp dishrag of McCain?
Yes.
Well, not McCain, Dole, Romney.
I mean, think about who the Republicans put up.
Both of them.
Yeah.
Really, it was only Goldwater and Reagan who were genuine alternatives to the Democratic Party agenda, and all the time since Eisenhower.
That's exactly right.

today talking about fracking, cut number three.
I am not banning fracking.
Let me say that again.
I am not banning fracking, no matter how many times Donald Trump lies about me.
Now, he is for fracking after he was against it, Senator Cotton.
I've played a number of montages where he's been against fracking, new fracking, old fracking, fossil fuels.
How in the world can people ignore this?
Well, Hugh, let's give Joe the benefit of the doubt, and let's not assume that he's lying.
Let's just assume that he forgot when he said that he was going to ban fracking repeatedly during the Democratic primaries.
He did.
I mean, he did.
Okay, translate this if you can.
Cut number two.
COVID has taken this year, just since the outbreak, it's taken more than 100 years.
Look, here's the lives.
It's just, I mean, think about it.
More lives this year than any other year for the past 100 years.
Okay, Senator, what's that mean?
Well, Hugh, that wasn't the smoothest delivery off a pre-written speech on a teleprompter, but I'm not sure I can translate it for you.
All right, then he asked a rhetorical question, cut number one.
Ask yourself, do I look like a radical socialist with a soft spot for rioters?
Really?
My answer is yes, because on one side you've got Kamala Harris, and on the other side you've got AOC, but what do you say, Senator?
Well, he looks like an empty suit that for 50 years has gone along with whatever fad and fashion is ascendant in the Democratic Party.

Joanne, you're on with Dr. Strom and Larry.
Hi, thank you for taking my call.
My question is that if you've had COVID and after your doctor releases you to go back to work and you take another test because your company requires that and you test positive, will you always test positive or will you eventually test negative?
That's a great question.
So, you can test positive for a while, even though after 14 days and the test is still positive, probably you're not as virulent or contagious.
Now, that test may stay positive for a while.
And there's a real debate in the medical community, is that, did you never eradicate or is it a reinfection?
There were studies out in Asia about reinfection and we're all skeptical about that.
So it's probably, you didn't eradicate yourself totally from the COVID, and it's ultimately going to go away.
But you're probably just detecting very, very low viral amounts.
Speaking of tests, doctor, last week, University of Arizona said that 13 student-athletes had tested positive for COVID-19, which was a single-day record for the school.
Then they said, never mind, three days later.
Actually, the number of positive tests was just two, meaning that the initial numbers were off by a factor of about six. - Yeah, I can't explain that.
I mean, that's the whole thing about the numbers that we're hearing.
I don't know what's right and who to believe.
I just don't think there's any standardization here, so I'm a little concerned about that.

No.
And you know what?
We don't have half of it yet.
That's what's so scary about what we're learning.
And I think we ought to bring everybody back to the beginning of impeachment because it's also worth calling out the false narrative that Democrats gave during impeachment.
Everyone who raised questions about Joe Biden and Hunter Biden was a Russian propagandist because there was nothing wrong that happened on Hunter Biden's watch when he was at Burisma.
Well, guess what?
State Department documents we got under a lawsuit this past weekend emphatically show that George Kent, the guy with the bow tie who made himself famous during the impeachment, a senior State Department...
One of the famous impeachment witnesses with his bow tie.
Absolutely.
Yes, yes, he made himself famous in that bow tie.
He wrote a memo.
That while Hunter Biden was on the board and while Burisma was under corruption investigation by both the British and the Ukrainian authorities, a Burisma representative paid a $7 million bribe to the Ukrainian prosecutor overseeing the case.
case and the impact of that bribe was the prosecutor then went and shut down an aspect of the case that killed the british uh court case that was working its way through the british courts and kent writes not only did a prosecutor confirm the bribe occurred so they got confirmation he wrote that it wasted a long amount of work by the fbi which had been helping the brits make a case against priesthood so we learned a lot from this memo keep up with what's trending

The President tweeted about it this morning.
That makes Rochester, Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C., of course the unrest in Kenosha, the unrest in Portland.
How long is this going to go on and what is its impact on the election, in your opinion?
Well, Hugh, unfortunately, it's probably going to go on as long as these Democratic mayors and governors do not use the police in force and, if necessary, against the riots at nighttime, the National Guard, to deter this criminal behavior.
And the police are not allowed to arrest these criminals and prosecutors do not charge them with every crime they've committed until these criminals on the streets recognize there are consequences for their actions.
They're going to continue to commit these crimes.
And we don't have to imagine what the Biden administration would do under such circumstances.
They're not going to call for local police departments to be Hi everybody, Dennis Prager here.

Is he wearing a mask?
Because he's locked his country down.
This is unimaginable a few years ago.
But with resolve, determination, a fresh look at the way peace is done, this is being achieved.
Thank you, Mr. President.
Yeah, we'll leave it at that.
I want to comment on it because we have a lot to cover.
The achievement of Donald Trump with regard to peace in the Middle East is unique, at least in the last 50 years.
I mean, I want to give credit, obviously, to the working out of a peace between Egypt and Israel.
And let's see, that would have been then the Carter administration.
I want to give Jimmy Carter credit for that.
I don't care if it's a Democrat or Republican.
One Norwegian member of Parliament has nominated Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.
The Nobel Peace Prizes are worthless nonsense, like the Pulitzer Prize has become, because everything the left touches it ruins, and the Nobel Peace Prize is one of them.
They gave it to Barack Obama as soon as he was elected.
He was actually embarrassed, because he's too smart not to know it looked stupid.
He didn't do anything.
It's not Barack Obama's fault that he didn't do anything.
He was not a president enough to do anything.
But they gave him the Nobel Peace Prize because he was a man of the left.
And why not do that?
Right?
Right?
Donald Trump has brought more peace to the Middle East.
Everything the experts, the world of morons called experts.
There are experts who are not morons.
But expert does not mean you're not a moron.
Oh, you move the embassy to Jerusalem.
The Arab world will erupt.
Didn't erupt.
But remember, being on the left means never having to say you're sorry.
So they never apologize for their foolish predictions.
What Donald Trump has is courage.
And it drives the left crazy because they're wimps.
This is an incredible achievement with Bahrain and the UAE. It's just an incredible achievement.
Do you know that the Palestinians asked the Arab League, was it the Arab League or the World Islamic Conference, or whatever the official name is, to condemn the Accords, and they wouldn't?
The Palestinians are basically...
Are regarded as a gigantic nuisance.
The narcissism in the Palestinian mentality that the world revolves around us, which the left in the world and the Arab world actually fed.
Can't blame them.
They thought they're the most important thing on earth.
Palestinians.
Turns out they're not the most important thing on earth.
And I was supportive of a Palestinian state the whole time.
Not now.
Because I don't want a state that becomes Hamas.
Nobody who supports a Palestinian state can answer the one question, what if Hamas takes over like they did in Gaza?
They have no answer to the question because they don't answer questions.
And they're never challenged.
The president has done so much good as president, it's mind-boggling.
For this country and for the world.
But they throw out the platitudes, oh, America's not respected.
They're not respected by Le Monde or the BBC or the CBC. The left doesn't respect America under Donald Trump.
That's correct.
Are people not wanting to come in?
All of a sudden, America's less popular a destination?
All right, I'm going to come back to that.
Let me go to Colorado Springs and Jim Daly, President of Focus on the Family.
And Jim Daly, welcome to the Dennis Prager Show.
Dennis, it's great to be with you.
Hey, congratulations with PragerU.

No, unpaid.
Unpaid?
Unrequested?
I'm very touched.
Thank you.
Well, I, of course, adore you and your work.
So why don't you describe what you want to tell my listeners?
Sure.
You know, last year in May, right there in Times Square, we did a big event.
We had 20,000, the largest pro-life event in New York City's history.
The New York Times decided not to cover it, even though we were only a block away.
But it was awesome.
We had about 20,000 people that joined us, 400 protesters.
We got to the point where Alveda King, Christina Bennett, Benjamin Watson, all African Americans, got on stage and said more black babies were killed in New York City by Planned Parenthood last year than were born.
And the most successful thing about that event was the Black Lives Matter folks who threw their signs down and joined us.
I thought, there's a light bulb that went off.
And so we're coming back September 26th, right around the corner.
We're doing a virtual one-hour presentation with great speakers, great music, and also a live 4D. Third trimester ultrasound of a child in the womb, which our thesis is simple.
Let's show them the baby, and then they can try to debate why it's not a baby.
I want to comment on that.
I think that's great.
I just want people to understand, what do they do?
Before we hang up, it's important that they know, what do they do to join?
Well, they can just go to focusonthefamily.com at the website, and it'll give all the directions on how to be a part of the virtual presentation.
It's going to be live.
Again, it's going to start September 26th, 8 p.m.
Eastern Time.
And it'll run about an hour and five minutes.
After the event, there'll be opportunities for people to join in and to get involved locally in the pro-life movement.
We have a real simple plan.
Forgive me.
I want to so encourage people.
All they have to do is go to focusonthefamily.com.
That's it.
Okay, that's fine.
I want you to know how important I consider what you said about the third trimester video.
I am of the belief I would actually trade in.
I'm not sure you will agree with this, and you don't have to agree.
I always tell guests it's absolutely not necessary to agree with me.
I would trade the following.
I would say, you know what?
We're going to leave legislation the way it is if you allow legislation that every woman who gets an abortion sees a video.
That's how important I think.
If you, most women do not know, who get an abortion do not know, What they are doing fully.
Correct.
You know, I don't think, Dennis, that's an unrealistic, incremental approach.
More than 50% of abortion-minded women, when they actually see the ultrasound, if they get an ultrasound, will choose life for the baby because I think they get it when they see the picture and they see the baby inside of them.
It's, you know, again, the abortion industry does so much to obfuscate what is truth in that reality.
And I think showing people the baby is the key.
And human life needs protection, and we're seeing it.
I think much of what you're talking about, I'm sure, today, whether it's the shootings in Compton or other things, this is all linked.
When we begin as a culture to disregard life, whether it's in the womb or outside of the womb, it's a slippery slope to discarding all life, whether it's breathing or in the womb still.
And I think that's the big problem we're facing as a culture today.
We believe that every human life is made in the image of God, and that's why we need to protect it as a culture, left, right, and center.
No debate.
And if we could ever get back to that, I think our culture will be faring far better.
It's amazing that you're considered radical.
No, no, I mean, one could differ in all this, but why is the position that it's life?
I mean, I have a video up at PragerU on this, and I don't talk, I never mention Bible, I never mention God, I never mention religion, I never even mention law.
I just ask, what is it?
The thing that drives me craziest, Jim, is when they say a woman can do what she wants with her own body, but it has nothing to do with what we're talking about.
It's not her body.
It's in her body.
Yeah, exactly right.
I had a physician the other day, an OBGYN, tell me, as soon as the egg and the sperm meet, if you can do a 23andMe test on that child, a genetic test, right at that moment, when those two components, those products of life meet, that child is uniquely, DNA, uniquely done.
And it already has that uniqueness in the first cell.
And you think about that.
And then moving forward, obviously, to where they can live outside the womb.
You know, in the 60s when I was born, a child could survive 28 weeks in gestation.
So if they were born 28 weeks or later, they had a good chance of survival.
Today it's 22 weeks.
What made a difference in those six weeks?
All right, so let me remind people, this is a great conference.
FocusOnTheFamily.com.
You're doing great work.
Thank you.
Thank you.

But with this great president, he did what the Democrats said they were going to do, and a lot of them said, you know, I don't even, you know, maybe they had something, they didn't like the president for something or other, but they're going, you know what, I like what he's done, and therefore I'm switching.

Was fatally shot by a suspect.
The Henderson County Sheriff's Department issued a press release saying, quote, early this morning while the world slept, Ryan responded to assist a family needing help when they became innocent victims.
I'm curious, is anybody, well of course somebody has, but if the press were actually even, Even tempted at some degree of objectivity.
Would it not ask the question, how did Joe Biden and his family get so wealthy?
Man's been a senator his whole life.
It's a very small salary relative to the amount of money he has.
How did this happen?
I mean, Donald Trump made his money, whether you like it or not, he made it in the private sphere.
He inherited a lot, and he made a lot.
Joe Biden inherited very little, if anything, and was a politician his whole life.
So the answer is he's corrupt.
His level of corruption is far greater than that of Donald Trump.
It's not even comparable.
He has used his position as a U.S. Senator to make a lot of money, and to have his family make a lot of money.
He is so corrupt that it dwarfs any corruption alluded to with regard to Donald Trump.
But it is the lying media.
And it lies by omission more than it does by commission.
The media don't keep saying only two and two is five.
More than that, they don't say that two and two is four.
That's their biggest sin.
He's a nice guy.
He's a nice crook.
Joe Biden's a crook.
And I won't even get into how Kamala Harris rose in politics, which would be a huge issue if she were a Republican.
It would be dominant.
But when I see the fear that young Americans, and for that matter, older Americans, last night, my wife and I, having dinner outside of a my wife and I, having dinner outside of a restaurant in the L.A. area, and I don't know how old they were.
I would say late 60s, I don't know.
My wife will give me a more accurate assessment.
So, of course, I try to say hello to everybody, especially when I walk around without a mask on.
I say hello to people with a mask with a big smile, an honest big smile.
And this couple was there, and I don't know how it happens.
I don't remember how the topic arose, but the woman was quite vociferous about the importance of wearing masks.
And she was sweet.
She wasn't obnoxious, just quite adamant.
So once you know that, you pretty much know what they think about everything in life.
Isn't that interesting?
So I don't know how it arose, but I... Well, I know how it arose.
I don't know what led to it, but I said, you know, we could have really dealt with this really well if we'd have been giving people hydroxychloroquine and zinc.
And she goes, oh my God, I can't believe you recommend that.
She didn't know who I was.
And I said, well, it works.
I said, it doesn't?
All these examples, all of these testing like The Lancet.
I said, you didn't know that The Lancet itself, the editor, said it was a fraud.
They deeply regretted publishing a phony test.
She did not know that.
She knew that The Lancet had published that it doesn't work.
She didn't know that they retracted it very shortly thereafter and that the editor of The Lancet said it was a fraud.
And I explained to her, I figure she's on the left.
So she might find this appealing, because Big Pharma forced The Lancet to publish this, because they advertise heavily in these journals, and they have a lot to make if you don't use hydroxychloroquine, which is cheap, and they make nothing on it.
It's a few dollars, as opposed to remdesivir, which is a few thousand dollars.
I've defended Big Pharma my whole life.
And I don't anymore.
You have the left for ideological reasons and corporations for cowardice and money going along with the left.
The little guy gets shafted.
Amazing conversation.
She didn't know that The Lancet retracted the study she cited.
Relief Factor.
I wish Relief Factor could work on relieving the country of its ailments, but it can't.
It can relieve you, however, of your pain.
It's a remarkable product, and they have a very interesting offer.
They say that you'll know within three weeks if it works.
So just try it for three weeks at $19.95 plus shipping, and that's it.
Cancel if you don't want any more.
Otherwise, you get shipments at the regular price.
Most people do, in fact, because it works for most people.
I only sponsored it because I found out at the last minute years ago that my wife had been taking it for her knee pain, and it works 100% for her knee pain.

Scott in St. John, Indiana.
Hi there.
Hey, how you doing, Dennis?
I'm well, thank you.
Well, I guess I just would like you, if you could, to compare and contrast, and I agree with you, but compare and contrast the government of today requiring restaurants to shut down, wear a mask, you can do this, you can't do that, to...
The time during the Greatest Generation, the World War II era, with the rationing, the fuel, the food.
I know there's a distinction there, but I'm not smart enough to figure it out, so I'd love to hear that.
Well, you are smart enough to figure it out.
Oddly enough, I want to comment on this last comment, and then I'll answer what you...
Don't ever think you're not smart enough to figure it out.
The very fact that you know there's a difference shows you're smart enough.
You know, I'm hesitating because I'm really not talking on the topic, but I'm going to get to your topic.
When I began broadcasting 35 years ago, I thought a great deal about what I'm doing, obviously.
But I'm very introspective.
And I came up with, either I heard it from another, I don't give a hoot if I'm the originator of an idea.
Either I heard it from someone or I came up with it.
Doesn't matter, but this is what I adopted.
Never underestimate the intelligence of your audience and never overestimate the knowledge of your audience.
That has been my guideline ever since.
I have never talked intellectually down and I have never assumed that people have great knowledge, especially if they went to, unfortunately, an American college.
So, I know in this case that Scott, there's no question, Scott, that you are bright enough to know the answer.
Because let me ask you this.
You said you're sure there's a difference.
Why are you sure there's a difference between wartime and rations and peacetime and I can't enter a restaurant?
Call it collegiality.
Call it common good, common goal.
People are on the same page.
I know there was some division, you know, back in those days, isolationists and what have you.
Yeah, but they were a very small group.
Anyway, you're right, but now let me give you the obvious answer.
And as soon as I say it, I think you'll agree.
The reason for rationing in wartime is there wasn't enough food.
It was a physical fact.
You had to ration because otherwise everybody wouldn't have something to eat.
You had to ration a lot of goods because so much of it was being used for wartime.
Copper, for example.
They used to have copper pennies.
Then they couldn't have copper pennies during the war.
So if you look at the pennies from 1943, 44, 45, I believe it is, they're not made of copper because the copper was needed for war material.
But there's no analogy to this.
This is completely voluntary.
You don't want to go into a restaurant because you think you'll die?
Don't go in!
But because you are scared out of your mind for no good reason, because you are part of the CNN crowd, don't block me.
If I want to die eating a meal in a restaurant, let me die.
Okay?
You let people ride motorcycles, a hell of a lot more dangerous than eating in a restaurant.
Why do we allow people to climb Mount Everest?
Oh, but you say, but if you go into a restaurant, you're endangering others.
Why?
If they're not in the restaurant, why are they endangered?
Oh, but I will pick it up in the restaurant and then bring it home.
So fine, if the people that you are living with have voted against you going to a restaurant, I feel sorry for you.
You are stuck with people who are wildly scared.
Irrationally scared.
Nothing...
Frightens me more than the irrational.
Nothing.
Because then there's no shared possibility of dialogue.
The right to ruin people's business when it's voluntary?
Is anybody forcing anybody into a nail salon or a hair salon or a store?
It's really, it's beyond belief.
Oh yes, Nancy Pelosi was tricked into a hair salon.
It's a good point.
She was set up.
She didn't really want her hair done.
She was set up.
That's right.
God, what a different America.
Thank you.

The whole idea of career politicians is anathema to the United States of America From Washington himself, they understood that if we the people are the government, we're supposed to pick from among we the people.
Joe Biden is the definition.
If you wrote a book...
And you said, what is the ultimate career politician?
The dude has been a senator, a senator since the early 1970s.
Can you even imagine?
Not in politics, not in politics, a senator.
And he has clearly benefited personally and his family's benefited personally.
And now he says he wants to run for president.
And you think, wow, what record are you pointing to?
This is not looking very good for Joe Biden.
But I've looked into Biden, and one of the things I find interesting about a career politician is how they change their mind to benefit them to stay in politics.
It's like, I look back at Joe, all the racist things he said way back in the 70s, and these are public knowledge, and I'm going, and now you're over here?
Or whether it could be anything.

Do you hear what Fauci said to MSNBC over the weekend?
Listen to this.
And I said what I've been saying all along, that I believe that we will have a vaccine that will be available by the end of this year, the beginning of next year.
But by the time you mobilize the distribution of the vaccinations and you get the majority or more of the population vaccinated and protected, that's likely not going to happen to the mid or end of 2021.
So in direct response to that person's question, I said, if you're talking about getting back to a degree of normality, which resembles where we were prior to COVID, it's going to be well into 2021, maybe even towards the end of 2021. Wow.
Now, I debated...
I don't know internally whether to play that clip or not because I know how despondent, how depressed, how much despair Fauci is engendering with that comment.
I thought about a buddy of mine last night who refused to watch the Dallas Cowboys play football.
And I admit, I watched some NFL yesterday because I, like you, want some Sliver of normal.

Let me ask you very quickly about Senator Harris.
I think when she threw doubt on the vaccine, she did a terrible disservice to America.
Everybody's got to be on the same page when a vaccine is approved, that people who are in risk groups take it.
Were you shocked that she actually threw doubt?
Because that's going to make it much more difficult to get people to become vaccinated.
It's very disappointing to see Senator Harris throw in with the anti-vaccine crowd.
Look, the world's leading scientists and researchers are all racing to try to find a safe and effective vaccine for the coronavirus.
And I am 100% confident that those world-class scientists and researchers, along with our public health agencies, will only put on the market a vaccine that is safe and effective.
Have you talked to Senator Harris yet about throwing in with the anti-vaxxers?
I have not been on her short call list over these last couple days, Hugh, if you can imagine it, when she was up instead in Wisconsin visiting a state that Democrats have generally stayed away from for the last four years, like Hillary Clinton did.
She will deny that she's thrown in with the anti-vaxxers, I'm sure, but I don't believe that's an inaccurate statement, Senator.
Well, it's not an accurate statement at all, Hugh.
I mean, she has expressed doubt and skepticism about a vaccine that doesn't yet exist.
And we don't know when it might exist, but when it does exist, it will be safe and effective because it will have gone through rigorous testing and trials.

So, we have the Ultimate Issues Hour every third hour on Tuesdays.
Today's issue...
Today's issue is political, but it's not...
It's not political for politics' sake.
It's political for clarity's sake.
Most of the Ultimate Issues Ours are not directly political.
And it is about a division in the world in how you divide the world between the way the left sees dividing the world and liberals, conservatives, and everybody else who's not on the left.
Liberalism has little to do with leftism.
But unfortunately, liberals don't know this.
So they vote for the left in what is the most disastrous mistake, political mistake, of the contemporary era.
Liberal support for leftists.
The Judeo-Christian world, and by the way, this is...
Not unique, but very close to unique to the Judeo-Christian world, does this.
And you take it for granted, many of you, but you don't realize how rare it is.
The great division in the Judeo-Christian world is between good and evil.
There is good and there is evil.
Now, Christianity makes also a great division between believer and non-believer.
But that's a theological division.
In the moral sphere, the division for both Judaism and Christianity is good and bad.
Alright?
It's clear.
I've put before you today good and evil, and you shall choose...
Life and death, and you shall choose life, but there's a constant reference to good and evil from the very beginning, the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
That's the division in the Judeo-Christian world.
That has been the division throughout American history.
It doesn't mean Americans always chose the good.
What people do and what people believe are not always the same, obviously.
If it were, we would have a nation of saints.
Or would have had one.
Then came Marx.
Marx is the father of leftism.
Marx had contempt for the belief that you divide the world between good and evil.
So let me read to you, and you can see this in my column today on this issue.
at townhall at dennisprager.com and then in the course of the week, many other places.
This is what Marx wrote in the most important of his works, Thus Kapital, or Capital, as in capitalism.
Right can never be higher than the economic structure of society.
We therefore reject every attempt to impose on us any moral dogma whatsoever as an eternal, ultimate, and forever immutable moral law.
Alright?
So it was a direct attack on the Judeo-Christian principle of immutable moral law.
The Ten Commandments, right?
Is do not murder an immutable moral law?
Not to Marx.
And certainly not to Marxists, as I will show you in a moment.
So if you don't divide the world between good and evil, what do you divide the world?
Well, it's a non-moral division.
It was this week or last week that I realized I had been saying something wrong for all of my broadcast career.
I've been saying that the left has a broken moral compass.
I should have said the left does not have a moral compass because it doesn't think in terms of good and evil.
Its divisions are other.
Marx's division was not good and evil.
I just read that to you.
His division was worker and employer.
Class.
His division was not moral, but class division.
The class determined right and wrong.
Not some Good and evil standard that transcended class.
Nothing transcends class in Marx.
Now listen to Lenin.
53 years later, Marx's foremost disciple, Vladimir Lenin, architect of the Russian Revolution, proclaimed in a speech, To the 3rd Congress of the Russian Young Communist League, October 2, 1920, virtually to the day 100 years ago.
We say that our morality is entirely subordinated to the interests of the class struggle of the proletariat.
Get it?
There you go.
Our morality is entirely subordinated to the interests of the class struggle of the proletariat, proletariat of the workers.
We do not believe in an eternal morality.
See that?
Completely echoing Marx.
We repudiate all morality derived from non-human and non-class concepts.
What is non-human?
God.
Leftism is at its core a repudiation of the entire biblical Judeo-Christian worldview.
That is the great conflict today.
That's why Christians and Jews who claim to be religious and side with the left have nothing to do with their religion.
Nothing.
If they hate Trump so much that they side with the left, It is a religious scandal that they are involved in.
This is the epic war we are involved in, Trump or no Trump.
The left versus Christianity, the left versus Judaism.
That's why, overwhelmingly, the most religious Christians and the most religious Jews are anti-left.
Many other Christians and Jews are pro-left.
Either you get this civil war, not civil war, this transcends America.
They already won in Europe.
There's no battle anymore.
The left defeated Christianity in Europe.
The last place of importance for this war is the United States.
We repudiate all morality derived from non-human and non-class concepts.
There you go.
All he did, Lenin, was echo Marx.
In 1957, a Harvard professor, Wilfred Cantwell Smith.
I remember the name because I had to read his books when I studied comparative religion.
He was considered one of the greatest scholars of religion alive.
He was director of Harvard University's Center for the Study of World Religions.
I wonder if that still exists, that center.
Interesting, isn't it?
In 1957, he wrote, well, I'll tell you when we come back, how it's okay to torture when you don't have any transcendent good and evil.

But why did you get involved in this documentary, Mike Lindell, Trump 2024?
Well, you know, when I first met him, you know, I met him in the summer of 2016 in a private half-hour meeting.
He invited me out to talk with him about, you know, my pillow being made in the USA. But all these things he talked about, I'm going, he's...
A couple of things people need to know about our president.
The gift he has of being so pragmatic and problem solution like a businessman, but knowing what it's going to manifest to.
What is it, you know, just because you solve the problem and have the solution, you better know what's it going to manifest to in our daily lives.
And that's a gift that he has.
And that's having a businessman run it.
You know, he took, Eric, he took the Republican Party.
And I believe now has turned it into the Common Sense Party.
That's not the party it was either.
He took politics and just put it all in a thing and smashed it around and said, okay, here's the way we should do things for the people.
This is for the people.
I know not to trust standard media outlets, but to whom I'm supposed to turn.
How do I know who to trust?
Where can I go for real information?
Great question.
Dr. Strom, who do you rely on for your...
Okay, everybody, the ultimate issue the ultimate issue is our attack.
Dennis Prager, this very, very important hour this week, third hour every Tuesday.
This week's subject is the difference between the left's view of morality and the Judeo-Christian view of morality.
The left does not divide the world into good and evil as the Judeo-Christian world does.
It first divided the world by class, and as I read to you from Marx and Lenin, a direct rejection of any idea of a morality that transcends class.
That's what determines right and wrong.
For the left in America, they have substituted race for class and gender for class, and I'll get to what the left in America has done to the concept of But first I want to read to you what happened as a result of the left-wing rejection of a transcendent morality.
Wilfred Cantwell Smith was director of Harvard University Center for the Study of World Religions.
He wrote in 1957, And then he writes, literally no reason.
Our universe, the movement posits, is the kind of universe where there cannot conceivably be any reason for not killing or torturing or exploiting a human person if his liquidation or torture or slave labor will advance the historical process.
That's right.
The left knows they're advancing the historical process, right?
Always, what is it, the bend, the arc of morality is bending.
They're always certain that progressivism is a moral enhancement.
So, today's heirs of Marx's ideology, the leftists, they view the world with one important difference.
Morality is not determined only by class.
Remember, isn't everything rich and poor?
Inequality.
That's why they are Marxists.
Inequality is the animating issue.
There's no moral concern that is greater than inequality.
But why is inequality the greatest concern?
Why?
What difference does it make?
Why is inequality inherently bad?
I'm talking about not inequality before the law.
I'm not talking about inequality before God.
I'm talking about inequality in terms of we are all created equal as children of God.
I'm talking about socioeconomic equality.
Why is it bad if some people have a lot more than others?
Why is that inherently bad?
They never gave a reason.
They never do.
What if you have everything you need, and if you work harder, you will make more?
What difference does it make?
Okay, not echoing her context, but true, we're using the same word.
Tell me, who among you has had his life affected adversely because Jeff Bezos may be the first world's trillionaire?
I mean, I'm not happy he has all that money because I don't believe he'll spend it wisely.
He already spent it buying the Washington Post.
But that's a separate issue.
What's the skin off my back?
He made it possible for me to order any book I want, and he made it possible for me to sell my books.
Anyway, that's what the left does.
Class is not good and evil, rich and poor, but now we have race.
It is left-wing dogma that a black person cannot be a racist.
Now, how is that possible?
Because he's black.
So it's not good and evil.
Racism isn't a matter of good and evil.
It's a matter of black and white.
It is increasingly a left-wing position that when blacks loot, they are only taking what they deserve, or as the looters often put it, looted goods are reparations.
A Black Lives Matter organizer in Chicago, Ariel Atkins, put it this way.
I don't care if somebody decides to loot a Gucci or a Macy's or a Nike store, because that makes sure that person eats.
That makes sure that person has clothes.
That is reparations.
Anything they want to take, take it.
Because these businesses have insurance.
Chicago Tribune, August 17th of this year.
See?
Now, we who believe in Judeo-Christian values believe that stealing is stealing.
Now, if you're really starving to death and people are not providing you with bread, you can steal bread.
We understand that when there's an issue of life and death, that transcends the stealing.
Okay.
But nobody is going into Gucci's in order to eat.
last I knew Gucci's does not sell food we believe that whether you're black or white if you steal you are stealing Stealing violates the Ten Commandments, which we believe ultimately comes from God.
If it only comes from Moses or Jeff, then it's irrelevant.
Power.
This is another substitute for good and evil.
Strong and weak.
This is part of the reason America is hated because it's stronger than other nations.
The left's antipathy.
Who does the left hate the most?
America and Israel.
Why?
Among other reasons, because they're both strong.
So the left supports the Gazans even though they send rockets to kill as many Israeli civilians as possible.
But they're weaker than Israel, so they get the left support.
Because the left is not rooted in good and evil, but in strong and weak, and black and white, and rich and poor.
These are all substitutes for good and evil.
Finally, sex or gender, as they like to say.
When a woman accuses a man of sexually harassing or raping her, the left's reaction is not, let us try to determine the truth as best as we can.
It is, believe women.
One must automatically believe women, because on the left, it is not only morality that doesn't transcend race, power, class, or sex.
Truth doesn't either.
I will take your calls, all the substitutes for good and evil, on the left.

How do I know who to trust?
Where can I go for real information?
Great question.
Dr. Strom, who do you rely on for your information?
Okay, so what I really like, and I think it's pretty accurate, is the Johns Hopkins newsletter.
It comes out every four to five days.
I think that information is very accurate.
That's where I get most of my information from.
Listening to television, you're going to get skewed data.
So that's what I said in my opening segment.
I'm not so sure about the numbers.
I don't know if the numbers they're telling us are too low or too high.
I just don't know yet.
And I think it's very hard to know.
And you have a very valid point.
I think a lot of people feel like you.
And doctor, when we're talking about countries like China, like Cuba, like North Korea, how in the world can we trust their numbers?
I keep hearing that we, America, have more people in prison than any other country in the face of the earth per capita, blah, blah, blah.
You think Cuba and China and North Korea are accurately reporting who they have behind bars?
Please.
Yeah, I mean, I agree with you, Larry.
I share that skepticism.
I don't know if you can believe that.
I do remember at the beginning of the pandemic looking at the hot spots and I saw Russia didn't have any cases.
Now they have them, but I will tell you, they touted their vaccination.
They got the Russian vaccination, but I will tell you, as a doctor and a scientist, that was only phase two, so it didn't go to the complete route of evaluation.
So it's hard to believe.
It's hard to know.
Thank you.
Anti-police protesters appeared and people celebrated That attack.
Saying things like, yelling things like, we hope they die.
This in a year when more than 30 officers have been killed in the line of duty in the United States.

How brave of them.
Do not block emergency entries and exits to the hospital.
You're the sheriff's department.
You've got demonstrators saying hope they die outside the hospital and you tweet at them not to block the entrances and exits.
Every single person blocking that hospital should be in chains, should be in cuffs, should be in leg irons in the local jail.

Thank you.
If you understand today's Ultimate issue, you understand much of what is happening.
The conflict, as I have known my whole life, is between the left and the Judeo-Christian worldview.
That there are Christians and Jews who are on the left shows you how poorly they understand their religions.
To be pro-left as a Jew, Well, if you're a secular Jew, you can't be a secular Christian, so it's not exactly a mirror image.
A secular Christian is not a Christian.
A secular Jew is a Jew, because Jews are not just a religion.
Jews are a people.
That's from biblical times.
So, nevertheless, there are people who claim to be religious, whether Jewish or Christian, and leftist.
The Pope does.
I don't understand how people like that do not perceive the mortal enemy of religion that leftism is.
Marx knew it.
Lenin knew it.
Why don't they?
The division of the world between good and evil is a Judeo-Christian idea.
The left divides it between Races, black and white, male and female, rich and poor, strong and weak.
They have four separate and different distinctions other than good and evil.
Whites are evil.
Blacks are good.
That's it.
Women are to be believed.
Men are not.
And so on.
Okay, everybody.
Let's see what you have to say and if it's gotten across clearly.
Scooter, Minneapolis.
Happy City.
Hi.
Hi, Dennis.
How are you?
Okay, thank you.
Good.
Good to be talking with you today.
So, my question or topic I'd like to discuss is if the left rejects God, Heaven, you know, doesn't see good and evil.
What is their ultimate goal?
I mean, what is it that they're shooting for?
They're aiming for?
What do they live their lives for?
They don't know the answer to that.
You should ask them that.
I would say that they would probably say a world of love or something like that.
There's some vague Utopian vision that they have.
They hate the inherent conflicts of life.
That's why they don't like competitive sports.
They don't want their kids to lose.
They hate capitalism because some people make more than others.
It's a vague...
There are two animating impulses.
A vague desire for no conflict.
Which is impossible.
The world cannot be a world where there is no conflict or no competition.
But it's some vague notion that just everything will be perfect.
That's why they let people out of jail.
The idea of jail offends them.
Except for white-collar, white criminals.
The other is power.
There's a massive desire to create power.
There is more than that.
There's a desire for power.
That's why Democrats use power and seek power and want more power to the government.
The other is chaos.
There are different impulses in different leftists.
But leftism is a movement of chaos.
The best example is that you have to declare that men menstruate.
Now, why would you have to declare that?
It's so obviously absurd.
And the joke is, they say, follow the science.
So science tells us that men menstruate.
If men menstruate, then there's no definition to the word man, and it should be removed, which they would be fine with.
There is some impulse toward chaos.
So those are three things that they're seeking.
And to substitute for God as the determiners of good and evil.
We're up against a big crisis.
I'm sorry, Sean.

Wendy is in Rancho Cordova, California.
Wendy, you're on the Larry Older Show with Dr.
Wendy, lookit, temperature is the only objective thing that we can test.
When I come into the hospital every day...
I get my temperature checked.
They spray my hands with a disinfectant, and they ask me if I have any COVID symptoms.
Temperature is the only thing you can do objectively because, you know, this virus can be like a cold.
You can have a sore throat.
You can have a lack of taste.
You can have a lack of smell.
You could have some shortness of breath.
I mean, you know, there's fires here.
I mean, everybody can have these symptoms.
So the only symptom we can reliably or the only objective sign is the temperature.
However...
Frequently, 40% of patients with COVID are totally asymptomatic, don't even have that.
So just because you don't have a fever doesn't mean you cannot have COVID. But it's the only objective measure we can do to determine if somebody may be infectious.
And also, if you have a fever, though, it doesn't necessarily mean you have COVID.
More likely than not, you do not have COVID with a fever.

The attack in L.A. County, those two police officers, on a 31 year old mother of six.
Somebody tried to paint this as random violence, a local council member.
Stephanie, walking up to a police car and shooting two police officers in the head isn't random or accidental, is it?
This is not random.
We can thank the Democrats for stoking this.
Violence and hatred against police officers.

Yes, sir.
Thank you, sir.
I'm not Jewish.
I'm Catholic, matriculated in Catholic academia from elementary school through university.
So how did you know how to say...
How did you know how to say good job so well?
You know, Jesuit trained, and my father insisted that we attend Jesuit schools.
There's been a complete deterioration.
And by the way, I've been in partnership with...
Many, many Jewish friends of mine, and some of whom were passed on, but others are what you're talking about.
They're probably Reformed, because that seems to be where the misguided Jews are located.
In the event, I've seen the deterioration.
Our Pope, to my knowledge, when I've read the Paradigm Shift and other tomes, The Pope is a Marxist.
I can see why he would be, because he comes from a very poor background and social deterioration of his life.
But the Catholic Church has just gone way, way asunder.
And it's just...
I look at the Catholics, and I look at the Jews, these used to be family-oriented.
People.
Especially Jews have a very very strong family and that's just gone in the tank.
Alright, thank you.
As I've said more than any other one thing, everything the left touches it destroys.
It includes Judaism and Catholicism.
It includes Protestant Christianity.
It will include LDS. Anything the left touches, it ruins.
Because it actually accords with human nature more than Judeo-Christian standards do.
Do not, do not, do not, do not, do not.
Thou shalt not, thou shalt not.
There is a God who makes the following demands.
Versus, I feel loving.
There you go.
If you feel loving, then you don't have to morally question yourself, because you know you feel loving.
The Christian values don't care about your motives.
They care about your behavior.
You don't steal, and you don't lie, and you don't whatever.
The intentions are not the issue.
It's the behavior of the human being.
Anyway, that's the great conflict today.
That's why some of these demonstrators were burning Bibles.
They are the most honest of the rioters.
They know what their enemy is.
That book.
Alright, and let's go to...
Elliot in Wilmette, Illinois.
Hello, Elliot.
Hello, thank you for taking my call.
Yes, sir.
You asked the question why the left would have an emphasis on economic inequality.
And apart from the fact that anything that can be perceived as inequality, they're naturally going to take a wedge and try to make that N2D problem, whether it's black-white inequality or anything else.
But for economic inequality, one of the promises they seem to have is that they can get you some of the rich people's money, take it from them because they can certainly afford it, and take it from them by taxes and make your life better.
And this, of course, is one of the great lies because once you're in power, they never do that.
As if they could.
Well, there is a materialism, ironically, there is more materialism on the left than there is on the right.
And The left believes in the importance of money and wealth more than conservatives do.
That's one of the ironies, and it's a point that's almost never made.
They really believe that that determines the quality of your life.
And conservatives, rich or poor, do not believe.
I mean, there's obviously a level of poverty that has a terrible impact on the quality of your life.
Though it's ironic that the left is thrusting tens of millions of Americans into an impoverished state because of the lockdown.
It's another false god of our time.
Safety.
Better safe than sorry!
Really?
What if you're sorry if you're so safe?
What if you end up sorry that you were too safe?
It's a very upside-down world in which we live.

Did you hear what Fauci said to MSNBC over the weekend?
Listen to this.
And I said what I've been saying all along, that I believe that we will have a vaccine that will be available by the end of this year, the beginning of next year.
But by the time you mobilize the distribution of the vaccinations and you get the majority or more of the population vaccinated and protected, that's likely not going to happen to the mid or end of 2021.
So in direct response to that person's question, I said, if you're talking about getting back to a degree of normality, which resembles where we were prior to COVID, it's going to be well into 2021, maybe even towards the end of 2021. Wow.
Now, I debated...
Internally, whether to play that clip or not, because I know how despondent, how depressed, how much despair Fauci is engendering with that comment.
I thought about a buddy of mine last night who refused to watch the Dallas Cowboys play football.
And I admit, I watched some NFL yesterday.

All right, final segment here on a really important subject.
The conflict between leftism and the Judeo-Christian view of good and evil.
Because leftism doesn't assert distinction between good and evil, but between races, between classes, between the sexes, and between the power.
Powerful and the weak.
All right, to you, Abraham in Fullerton.
Hi.
Hey, how's it going, Mr. Prager?
Okay.
First off, I just have to say it's an honor to speak to you.
You completely changed my life.
My dad listens to you a lot.
I started listening to you 10 years ago.
I went from a loose leftist to now I'm a diehard Christian conservative.
I advocated my values through college, and I was not a popular person.
But thanks to you, and I absolutely love you.
I look at you as a father figure, so thank you.
Wonderful.
Thank you.
I just wanted to point out, you started the hour by saying that the left doesn't have morals, but I would say they do have morals, but it's moral relativism, as opposed to the right has absolutes.
So we believe in God, and we believe our morals come from God.
Get to make their own moral system.
So today's north is tomorrow's south because we have the Ten Commandments, but I'd say they only have one commandment, and that is the ends justify the means.
And in terms of good and evil, I think they do...
I don't think they believe in terms of good and evil, but they do advocate it.
The only time I've heard them is when they...
I want to distinguish between the right and the left because constantly when I get into a conversation with the leftist, when they can't argue, they automatically lump me or the right into evil.
And as soon as they say, oh, you're just an evil person because you're a racist or you're a sexist or a xenophobe or a homophobe, then they don't have to argue with you because...
In their mind, why would they have to argue with somebody who's evil?
Right, which by the way is true.
I wouldn't argue with a genuine racist either.
It's a waste of time.
You really believe people are inferior based on color?
Which, ironically, is what the left now advocates.
If you're white, you are inferior because of color.
My friends, The longer you think about it, the more you will realize how the Judeo-Christian view of anything is distinct, how it is being undermined, and it is inconceivable that America will survive its extinction.
