Time Text
At every turn it seems like there are more unanswered questions and few honest explanations about why so many of our liberties are under attack.
Why are so many bright people teaching me nonsense?
Some of the scenes of violent protests are just amazing.
They're irrational evil.
Dennis Prager and Dr. Wayne Grudem confront the toughest social issues we face today, explained through historical, political, and never before told personal stories.
More rabbis, priests and ministers fear the left and fear God.
When you stand before God at the final judgment, what will you say to him about how you voted on abortion laws?
Trending now on America First with Sebastian Bercat.
I would remind Mr. Jordan, Mr. Biggs and Mr. Johnson to stop violating the rules of the committee, to stop violating the safety of the members of the committee, to stop holding themselves out as not caring by refusing to wear their masks.
Is it permissible to accept?
It is not permissible.
We can't drink coffee in the room.
But could I get you to respond to...
I'm not even going to use an adjective.
I'm just going to say yesterday's hearing on Capitol Hill.
What a colossal waste of time.
Embarrassing.
I think the average American watches what's going on there and it's something that's kind of depressing, I think.
You'd want to see...
Congress getting to the bottom of things.
You have the Attorney General in front of you.
You could be talking about border security.
You could be talking about defeating MS-13, going after the heroin opioid abuse epidemic, maybe asking for updates on cleaning house.
Let's find out about the progress of the Durham investigation.
And try to get more information out that's productive for the American public to form their own independent judgment on what's going on to know government's working for them.
But instead, that was an embarrassment, and the Attorney General was ready for it.
I mean, he was, every time someone tried throwing a punch at him, he just, you know, like kind of bob out of the way and clock them right back.

The president has...
Now, wait for it.
I know you're going to be shocked.
The president's been called racist for not in the view of Representative Jim Clyburn, who's a good friend of the late John Lewis, for not showing sufficient respect to him.
Here's what Mr. Clyburn said.
About President Trump.
He has very low regards for people of color.
It's just that simple.
This man has a very low regard toward people of color because the president has not gone to the memorial where John Lewis is and shown his respects.
You know, he refused to attend Trump's inauguration.
He refused to attend Trump's State of the Union addresses, at least up until then.
He boycotted the 2017 opening of a civil rights museum in Mississippi that Trump attended because Trump was attending it.
He encouraged the impeachment.
He called him a racist.
Quote, we need a president, a leader of the national government who's not a racist.
Trump is a racist, honestly.
Hi everybody, Dennis Prager here.
Sir?
Speaking with Sean Hannity.
His first name is D. I'm speaking to the Sean Hannity.
It sounds like there's a riot going on in New York right now.
Are we okay now?
Got a lot of noise coming through, right?
Sean, are we okay?
What's the story?
Sean, are you there?
I'm good.
Can you hear me okay?
Yeah, better now.
There was a lot of static type of noise.
Sorry about that.
And again, I thank you again for having me on.
I haven't done a book in 10 years.
You want to know why, Dennis?
Why?
Because I hate writing.
I write every night a monologue, and it takes a lot of time, and half of it's extemporaneous.
All of radio, like you know, is extemporaneous.
But I felt the moment was key.
I wanted to tell you one thing as we were going to break.
At the very bottom of the book cover, It's Latin.
It may shock people to know that I went through 12 years of Catholic education.
I went to a seminary in high school.
We had to take theology, study Latin, go to Mass every day.
I'm more of a Christian today.
I have some issues with the Catholic Church, which I've spoken about openly.
And live free or America dies.
That's what's at stake in 92 days.
And I'm glad you feel the same way.
But I also see this as an opportunity.
You know, Donald Trump, maybe some people don't like his style, but everything he said he would do in 2016, he's done.
And on top of that, he's also had to deal with the worst pandemic since 1917 and 18, and nobody will give him any credit for the travel ban 10 days after the first identified case in the country, or the subsequent travel bans, or the quarantine, or...
The mass mobilization, the largest mass mobilization of a health emergency in the history of the world, and built the beds, and manned the beds, and converted the beds to COVID-19, I can tell you, in New York.
And then all the PPE, we never ran out of a thing.
Every ventilator was there, every mask, gown, gloves, shields.
So, you know, he's never going to get credit from anyone in the media.
If he cured cancer, Dennis Prager, they'd want to impeach him for it.
That's correct.
That's correct.
I'm with you.
I just want to remind everybody that the book is Live, Free, or Die.
And it is top of the list at Amazon, which is the list where most people buy books.
And it should be.
And he's right.
But we didn't teach a generation.
You said you wanted to address education.
I couldn't agree with you more.
Let me ask you a question that I am just deeply troubled by.
My kids obviously are grown, and one of them has kids of his own.
But where would you tell a couple to send their children today, given that they will learn...
I'll give you just two examples.
They will learn that America was founded in 1619. The New York Times lie about the United States.
Founded to be a slave country.
That is now in 3,500 schools.
Your child will learn America.
It was not founded in 1776. It is systemically racist.
And you will have Drag Queen Reading Hour.
Story Hour.
And etc.
etc.
Where would you send your child today?
You know, let me tell you where you are so far ahead of the curve.
And I'm not sure if you've even thought about this.
Listen, I've followed your Prager University with great interest now.
How many years have you been doing it?
Since 2012, so eight years.
Okay, and I know Hillsdale has online courses in education for free.
Now, what did we learn during the pandemic?
I learned that 90% of the people that work on my radio or TV show not only can work from home, they're happier from home.
And they're more productive from home because they're not wasting an hour, two hours every day, you know, chugging into work.
And they enjoy it.
We can actually monitor exactly how much time they spend on their computer.
So, well, I'm not perspying in any way, shape, matter, or form, but we hold people accountable.
And what did we learn?
Telemedicine is going to be the future where you will have access to a doctor 24 hours a day.
My kids would always get the group, Dennis.
And it was the same routine.
They'd say, you know, I'd go to the emergency room.
I'd be holding steam in front of their face, falling asleep at 3 or 4 in the morning.
And then in the end, they'd say, oh, here's the medicine.
The steam never works.
So finally I said, can you just give me the medicine so I have it standing by next time after, like, five times of going through that.
Telemedicine is the future.
I think teleworking is the future.
I think what you're talking about and what you have created It's probably...you were way ahead of the curve.
And that's tele-education.
Think about this.
You know, I always talk about law and order, safety and security as the most fundamental obligation of any elected politician.
We see all these cities that have one thing in common, and that is governors that are democratic that have been running those cities into the ground for decades.
People aren't safe.
They aren't secure.
Usually, the same cities have the worst educational system.
As a nation, we pay more per capita per student per education than any country in the industrialized world, and we come in like 37th, 8th, or 40th.
There is, in Baltimore, it's the third highest per capita per student spending on education in Baltimore, 13 Baltimore public high schools.
You probably know the answer.
What percentage do you think are proficient in math?
It's not a test.
The answer is, there's not one single child, Dennis.
Now, I'll give you more Latin.
Latin from the education derivative of education from the Latin is aducere, to bring forth from within.
Well, that fits in with our founding document, our declaration that we're endowed by not the thing, you know, the thing, oh, what is the thing?
But we're endowed by a creator who created everything and with, you know, certain alienable rights, life, liberty, pursuit of happiness.
If you're not safe and secure, Dennis, you cannot pursue happiness.
If you don't get a quality education and we are failing our children spectacularly, you will be shut out of opportunity in this country because your politicians didn't fulfill their fundamental role.
So, tying this back to...
PragerU?
I'll say this.
Why not put online K through 12 education?
I don't even care if it's preschool through 12 education.
So if any parent in America is in a failing public school system, that if they choose, they will be able to go online for free...
And work with their children, or their grandchildren, or a neighborhood here that somebody needs some love and attention, and go through the curriculum, which will guarantee they know how to read, write, do math, and actually learn history.
Now, that is the new age.
That's the future shock that Alvin Poplar talked about so long ago, and Newt often discussed.
So, what you're doing with PragerU...
We can do for every child in this country and guarantee them a quality education.
You want to keep politics out of it?
Do reading, writing, and math.
Exactly.
Wow.
Thank you for the endorsement.
It's deeply appreciated.
Sean Hannity's book, Live Free or Die, is up at DennisPrager.com.
We have a segment to go.
Trending now on the Eric Metaxas Show.
What about, what is happening to Biden?
How is it possible that he could be doing well in the polls when he seems to be A shell of his former self.
And even his former self was a shell.
Well, you and I will have to do a whole other hour on this.
But he's right now framed it as a referendum on Donald Trump.
And that's been very effective for him.
It's almost a vote of no confidence, not a Biden versus Trump election.
As soon as it becomes an actual election and it's a binary choice, it's a completely different set of decision-making matrixes.
Whether or not you like Trump or whether you want Trump to continue for four more years versus Joe Biden.
Two completely different things, and they're being conflated as the same thing in some of this public polling.
At some point, Biden has to come out of the basement and has to appear more like a conventional candidate.
Things are strange because of COVID, because we're not having the conventions in the way that we normally do, but I really think it's easy to say I'd vote for Biden, but as we come down to the actual voting day...
He's going to have to do something that he hasn't done yet.
I just wonder how that's going to work out.
So if I was Biden, I wouldn't debate.
Things can change very quickly.
It's that old Hemingway quote.
It happened gradually, then suddenly.
And do not be surprised if that happens.
I tell every Trump supporter out there, this thing could be a late breaker, the likes of which we have never seen.
Remember, Ronald Reagan was down seven points to Jimmy Carter 10 days before the election.
And he had a late break, the likes of which no one has ever seen.
Pat Goodell, may he rest in peace.
That told me that story at least 22 times.
He was like, we ended the Carter campaign.
We saw it happen and we couldn't stop it.
We could not stop it.
People were showing up and they were just, the late break is a real thing.
It happened in 2016. Normal people don't think the New Jersey gym owner, the guy that owns Atlas Gym in New Jersey, should be arrested.
And listen to what this guy said that might be a rallying cry for every American.
On Tucker Carlson's show last night on Fox News, Tucker asked this guy, Ian Smith, Why have you stood up to New Jersey Governor Murphy?
Why have you stood up to those who say you're not allowed to be open?
And incidentally, if New Jersey's doing so great, how could a gym still be forced to shut down?
So when Tucker Carlson asked the gym owner why he has resisted the way he has, Will be etched in the hearts and minds of every American.
Here's what he said.
Because I'm not afraid of tyrants.
And no American should be.
Because we outnumber them greatly.
And the only thing that they run off of is fear.
Which is why you see what you see in the media where they're pumping fear into the coronavirus when what they should be pumping is solutions.
They don't do that.
They don't ever offer any solutions.
It's wear a mask, shut up, and wait for a vaccine.
That's not public health, and I won't subscribe to it.
Wow!
Wow!
Isn't that like salve on a wound?
isn't that like like tonic keep up with what's trending subscribe on YouTube today trending and now on the Hugh Hewitt show do you do you think media is working to defeat Donald Trump It's like...
Oh.
Okay.
All right.
A kindred spirit here, and Sean Hannity and his book is so...
It's so accurate, live free or die.
You know, I just want to bounce a theory of mine off you, Sean.
Freedom is a value, not an instinct.
People's instincts are to be taken care of.
Liberty is a value, not an instinct.
So when you lose that value, it's over.
Wow.
You know you're saying what Thomas Paine said.
I mentioned earlier.
Whether guides and dictates of human conscience, that means God, irresistibly obeyed.
There'd be no need for any other lawgiver.
But what I didn't say, I'll add now, government in its best state is but a necessary evil in its worst state, an intolerable one.
You see, I actually, I believe the American people, we are a fundamentally good people.
We share, you know, our medical...
Breakthroughs and discoveries.
If this fact King gets done, it's not going to just be for the United States.
It's going to be for the whole world, Dennis, as we always do.
You think about how whatever...
Remember back in the last century, they were arguing whether they should close the patent office because everything that could be created was created.
Remember that?
Yep.
And, you know, look at how...
That was before we even had an airplane.
You know, look at travel today.
Look at, you know, I guess we had the Musk, you know, partner, public-private partnership land.
I didn't see it yet.
And I'm just thinking, we are the greatest country, and it's all because of freedom and liberty.
That has, you know, everybody thinks, I think there's a psychological appeal to people that...
And again, we believe in natural rights.
All rights come from God, not government, endowed by our Creator, which is the opposite of statism.
And if that's true, that that's where our rights come from, okay, then that means we have to find that within ourselves that God put there to bring forth from within.
And then in a free society like the United States, then you get to go out and share what you learn with the world.
And make the world a better place to make the country a more perfect union.
We're not perfect.
And yes, we are flawed.
Every country is flawed.
Because every human is flawed.
Countries are made of humans.
Every human being is sinned and fallen short, Mr. Prager.
And by the way, I probably have a much longer list than you in life.
I doubt it.
We'll get together and compare.
Are we going to get together?
Over a cigar.
I was incorrigible for a big part of my life, which I guess made me a talk show, right?
Yes.
Oh, my God.
But where does all this innovation come from?
Where do all these breakthroughs come from?
How do we, you know, think about, imagine life without a washer and a dryer and a microwave.
And a stove, and electricity, you know, all of these things, we're always advanced in the human condition.
You know, the beauty of our founders and framers, and this was the hardest chapter for me to write, it just was hard, is the first chapter.
In other words, what made America great?
What are the principles, the guiding principles, the Judeo-Christian principles?
You know, while everybody, it might be a great appeal to say everything in your life is going to be free, free government health care, free education, guaranteed job, guaranteed wage, guaranteed salary, guaranteed retirement, guaranteed this.
Here's the question I have.
When has government gotten it right that you're going to buy into that total BS? Because they're not even providing law and order in most of these cities where you have the same people that want to advance this nationwide.
I call Portland Seattle, New York, and Chicago, a preview of coming attractions that Joe was elected.
That's right.
How did Obamacare work out?
Millions lost their doctors, millions lost their plans, and we all paid 200% more.
That's right.
How's our educational system?
We talk about it.
It's a disaster.
Why would we trust them with anything else?
That would be the dumbest decision we could ever make in the country.
That's why, in 92 days, Dennis Prager, it matters.
All hands on deck, or else we lose the greatest country God gave man.
God, is that true?
Well, your book is one of the antidotes, as is your show.
Sean, I just got to tell you, I have a saying every one of my listeners knows.
Good people are divided into three groups.
The fighters, those who help the fighters, and those who do nothing.
You, sir, are one of the fighters.
You know what?
I'm honored you would even suggest that.
It's my honor.
I've been blessed beyond anything I ever deserve in life.
And I want every American child to have the education, have the security and safety of where they live, and to find what God put in their hearts for them in their lives so we can become a more perfect union and a better people, always striving to be better.
We will.
I hate to tell you.
Thank you, my friend.
Amen.
From your lips.
All right, my friend.
God bless you.
Thank you so much.
I appreciate you having me on.
It's a delight.

Do you think media is working to defeat Donald Trump?
It's like every aura is polling to defeat Donald Trump in the elite media of DC and New York City.
Well, of course.
And that's what I mean when the managerial elite, of which many members of the media are part, they think they're so much smarter and virtuous than the American people, and they do.
They think the rest of us are morons and can't see.
What's going on?
I mean, I think that most members of the national media have always been center-left, but they always tried to fake it, you know, and pretend to be objective.
They don't even bother to fake it anymore.
No, they don't.
They really do not.
No, it's, and I think it's hurt this country.
I think it's hurt the credibility of this country.
Senator Kennedy, do you think?
Very little objectivity.
Do you think there is a great silent majority?
Nixon used that term in 1970. Do you think there's another one out there watching riots in Portland, unrest in Seattle, spending everywhere, and not really feeling COVID is as urgent as the media is making it out to be?
And it's certainly not Donald Trump's fault.
Do you think there's a great silent majority?
I think there are tens of millions of Americans who could just get up every day, go to work, obey the law, pay their taxes.
Try to do the right thing by their kids.
They don't have time to go out and protest, though it is their right, because they're too busy earning a living.
And I think they're going to make a difference in this election.
I do believe that.

We decided years ago to make August fundraising month for PragerU.
You heard Sean Hannity, I give you my word.
I mean, we didn't even speak.
We haven't spoken in years, actually.
We have a wonderful relationship with him, as you can tell.
But in every segment, he just mentioned PragerU because that's really one of the biggest hopes of The Last Best Hope.

Sean Hannity was right.
I mean, it is on the brink.
That is what I feel.
Not feel.
I dropped that.
I hate that.
That is what I know.
I don't feel it.
I know it.
That you could wreck cities and nothing happened to you?
That you could burn down things?
That baseball, football, and basketball have been politicized?
One of the only things left in society?
By the way, I'm getting mixed messages.
You sent me a Breitbart article that viewership in Major League Baseball is down.
Then I look at ESPN and it says it's doing better than last year at this time.
And so I don't know.
I don't say anybody's lying.
I just don't know what to believe, though.
So I would like to talk to the guy at Breitbart and tell him what I've read elsewhere.
I am very curious to know if Americans become alienated from those three sports.
Women's basketball, I don't even want to begin.
When the national anthem came on, they ran off the court.
The contempt for this country, if you don't have contempt for America, how could you watch the WNBA? Or for that matter, right now, The NBA or Major League Baseball?
And it kills me because I'm a big believer in the power of sports to unite people.
But the left has ruined it like it has ruined everything else, education and medicine.
Scientists are telling you that it's medically advisable to demonstrate against racism.
We're living the world of a lie.
It's like, remember the million women?
How many women went on that march across the country?
Anyway, it was something like, I don't know how many, but it was called the million women.
Hundreds of thousands.
For nothing.
You're oppressed if you're a woman in America.
Do you understand what a pathetic woman you must be if you think you're oppressed in this country?
You're pathetic.
You may be kind and sweet and loving and honest, but you're pathetic in that regard.
To see yourself as a victim when you are not is pathetic.
Did you see, hey, did you get it, Sean, that the black guy who went on, where did he do this?
Does anybody know?
It was on Twitter.
Is a Black Eyes video yelling at the black demonstrators, I guess?
How lucky we blacks are to live in America?
How many of this guy...
It was in Austin, Texas?
No, no, no, no.
There were two different ones.
I didn't send you the blocking...
Oh, I sent you the blocking the highway?
Yeah, okay.
It was another one.
I'm sending an SOS to my wife because she has the other one.
Alright, so at Austin, demonstrators, mostly white, Black Lives Matter demonstrators, blocked an interstate highway.
This is, by the way, does the right ever block highways?
The arrogance of the left, that with leftism not only comes meanness and so many other awful traits, but arrogance.
I believe in my cause so I can stop you from traveling.
You understand?
I am greater than the rest of you.
That is the belief on the left.
Paul Krugman believes he is morally superior to every single Republican.
By the way, do you know that he wrote a few weeks ago, this is no big deal, the economy is doing fine.
Did you see that column?
He called it annoying because he has his salary.
He has his income.
He called the lockdown annoying.
I will read that to the audience.
This is Paul Krugman.
I have to guard myself when I think of him.
Yeah, we'll do fine.
We need a lockdown.
It's the lowest drop of GDP in American history, in recorded history, let's put it that way.
And now people want to know how they're going to pay their rent.
We need another month of people not to have to pay their rent.
Well, what is the person who owns your apartment building supposed to do?
He has to pay his bills.
The only answer is we can't have a lockdown.
Folks, you just can't do it.
If there are fatal bees in a house, you still don't use a bazooka to kill them.
then the house is destroyed.
All right, we'll be back in a moment.
Thank you.

*music* People haven't really worked out.
What does it mean to be a Christian in a culture that is telling you to do things perhaps that you disagree with?
At what point do you cross that line?
God has put restraints in the world because sin is in every human heart.
And when millions of sinners collide with each other, the potential for complete disruption of any kind of normal life is there.
So God restrains with the conscience and the law that he wrote in the human heart.
That's individual restraint.
In the family, with the discipline of a mother and particularly a father.
in the society with the police who bear the sword.
That's the ultimate weapon, the threat of death, to protect those who do good and punish those who do evil.
And then finally, the influence of the church.
So what we've seen in our society is the destruction of the human conscience, wiping out the law of God, retraining people's brains with homosexuality, transgender, immorality, you name it, so that they don't know what the law of God is.
Their conscience doesn't know how to function.
And if it does, They're told to silence their conscience because they shouldn't feel guilty.
then crush the family, wipe out the family, destroy fathers.

It was a tweet or an Instagram or something from Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and she was complaining about the presence of a statue in Statuary Hall in the Capitol building that she thought was a sign of colonialism and white supremacy.
The statue that she picked out, of all the possible ones, was of Saint Damien of Molokai.
And I thought it was so crazy and outrageous, and I wondered...
Did she have any idea who St. Damien of Molokai was?
Barron went on to explain how St. Damien of Molokai, a Belgian priest who was born Joseph de Visterin in 1840, achieved international fame for his missionary work to an isolated leper colony in the Kingdom of Hawaii during the 19th century.
For more than a decade, he ministered To the outcasts until he eventually contracted and succumbed to the disease himself in 1889, when he was 49 years old.
He has since become the patron saint of lepers and outcasts, and the day he died is still commemorated in Hawaii on April 15. The Catholic Church under Pope Benedict XVI canonized him in 2009. The man went to minister to lepers, died of leprosy.
And he's a symbol of white supremacy.
I'll tell you, if you take these people seriously, then he was better.
Not because he was white.
But yes, he was a better man than most people.
Probably better than Ms. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Would she minister to lepers and die of leprosy?
You know how sick this all is?
This whole racism chart?
It's sick.

Texas, Roger, you're on the Larry Elder Show.
Thank you so much for calling.
Yeah, what I heard gave me a big thrill.
It said that a lot of police departments are going to pull out on security for the Democrat Convention.
I found that exciting.
That's right.
A hundred agencies that have agreed to participate in security for the DNC have now pulled out.
Yeah, and I said, I told both of them on a recording.
I know they won't hear, but their staff will.
I said, I hope to God you can't get one single policeman or woman to come to protect for security.
And I said, it's an added feature for us to want to watch.
Why don't you fly in those peaceful protesters from Portland at your expense and let them cut loose?
That'd be fun to watch.
After all, they're peaceful.
Just bring them on in.
Yeah, 100 agencies that had apparently agreed to participate in providing security for the DNC in Milwaukee have now pulled out.
Milwaukee City Council has deprived the Milwaukee police of the use of tear gas and pepper gas and other apparent non-lethal uses of force.
And so these agencies feel that they really can't do their jobs.
I'm sure the hostile attitude toward the police by the Democrats didn't help any.
It's one thing to be hostile towards the police, another thing to essentially disarm them and still tell them to do their jobs.
And so 100 agencies have now said they're not coming to Milwaukee to provide security for the DNC.
We'll see what happens.

I watched that hearing yesterday.
the House Judiciary Committee.
I played a lot of it on the show two days ago.
I've never been more embarrassed to be an American.
I mean, if you were a foreign citizen watching that, you'd say, we're out of our mind.
What did you make of that?
It was cringeworthy.
And I say this as a former committee chairman.
I chaired a committee in the House for two terms.
You, look, the chairman of a committee can operate the committee in a way, and should, that advances his own policy and advances, within limits, the partisan interests of his party, okay?
But you do that in the subject matter of the hearings that you choose, the witnesses that you pick, and the timing of the hearings.
Once the hearing starts, you have to act a little bit more like a judge.
And the two things that you have to do, you have to let the witnesses answer questions when they're asked.
If the member wants to take the whole five minutes and make a statement, they can do it.
But if they ask a question, the witness gets to answer it.
And number two, when a witness is attacked personally, okay, you have to give them an opportunity to respond.
You simply do.
And they didn't.
And it turned the whole hearing into a circus and made the Democrats look terrible and made Jerry Nadler look worse.
Let me ask you about rule number three.
This is basic human decency.
When someone asks for a break, they usually need to use the restroom.
And Nadler wouldn't let the Attorney General of the United States without...
Of course, the witness wants a break.
Don't you give them a break?
Absolutely.
And that's exactly the reason.
The man had sat there all day long, okay?
None of us are spring chickens anymore, you.
He needed to use the restroom.

We should not stand for discrimination, bigotry, hate.
you No way should four police officers be involved in a death of a man like George Floyd.
So I ask you this question with great caution.
Do you know what the average NBA basketball player makes?
I asked my operations manager, Eric Hansen, who follows the NBA, I don't.
I don't really pay much attention to the NBA. He says even kind of average NBA players make many millions a year.
Many millions a year.
I think there's a whole bunch of young black kids, white kids, kids of all ethnicities who would just give anything to be good enough to have a career in the NBA. It's a very elite group.
And these players decided to intentionally disrespect the national anthem, the flag, and the United States of America because they are demanding equality.
And at this point, I don't know what anybody does about it except vote.
I don't know how else you respond.
And of course, we can all talk about you won't watch the NBA.
And incidentally, ratings are going to plummet, I would think, for the NBA.
I have to believe a lot of Americans are disgusted by this.

Mr. Barr, on June 1st, there were protests against the murder of George Floyd and police brutality in Lafayette Park.
Let us not be distracted by you or my GOP colleagues as to what these powerful and massive protests were actually about.
They were about the persistent killing of black bodies by law enforcement.
And finally...
Did you hear that?
It's about the, quote, persistent killing.
Of black bodies by law enforcement.
The persistent killing of black bodies by law enforcement.
Even Mark Lamont Hill never saw a race card he couldn't bend over and pick up.
Even conceded under questioning with Candace Owens that the data do not show that the police are killing black bodies because they're black bodies.
Now, when you get to death, when you get to police shootings, the most accurate and recent data from the studies that are out don't suggest a racial disparity.
Oh!
Don't suggest a racial disparity.
So this whole hearing, and routinely during the hearings, and I was watching it sporadically, one of these Democrats would make an assertion like the one Jay Paul just did, and nobody said anything, not even Barr.
What is your data for your assertion?
That there is a, quote, persistent killing?
What an insult to the nearly 800,000 law enforcement officers.
Okay, all done.
Dennis Prager here.
And welcome to the show.
If you're just tuning in, I hope you had a good weekend.
My birthday yesterday.
Zoomed with many family members around the country.
Very lovely.
I devoted two and a half hours yesterday to pre-recording the telethon for the Jewish group called Chabad.
They've had this telethon.
It's aired in September.
And I have been the emcee for decades.
And it was...
It's an interesting thing.
You take a chunk of your day on your birthday to do a good deed.
It's a good feeling.
That's the way life works.
Given that it was my birthday, I just want you to know that August is fundraising month for PragerU.
833 PragerU.
If you want to help a big fighter for this country and its values, please help.
833 PragerU, PragerU.com.
You'll hear from a young person later in the hour.
It's a highlight.
It's for me the highlight of the month when we have the fundraising month.
And that is to speak to these young people who are members of PragerForce.
They will give you a shot.
That's a shot in the arm.
To hear them.
I've met almost none of them.
I have no idea what they'll say.
But 99% of the time, about 100%, it's a source of great joy to speak to these people.
All right.
Let me give you my view on the lockdown.
Let me talk a vast amount about...
The chaos being sown by the left in the United States.
The lockdown, of course, is a major cause of the chaos.
I said from the beginning I thought it was the biggest mistake in history to have this worldwide lockdown.
I continue to believe that.
I do not see any particular relationship in most cases between lockdown and the end of cases.
And I don't even care about cases.
I only care about people who get very sick and die.
I am profoundly angry.
The fact that doctors do not routinely give people hydroxychloroquine and zinc as soon as they are confirmed or tested as positive gives you an idea how the left has poisoned medicine as well as everything else.
By the fact that there are doctors who are now saying it's dangerous.
For 50 years, they never said that hydroxychloroquine was dangerous.
There are countries in this world where you can get it like you can cough drop.
It's so safe.
Lupus sufferers take it their whole lives.
Rheumatoid arthritis sufferers take it their whole lives.
And we're telling people to take it during the...
The time that they are tested positive for COVID, it's going to have a bad effect.
Are you serious?
You know, the first thing I do when I read about a test of hydroxychloroquine is I do Ctrl-F. I use Windows.
I guess it would be Command-F. Is that right?
Define something?
Command?
What did I say?
No, no, I said Control, and then I said Command for the...
I said Control-F. You weren't listening.
Which is okay.
Then I said Command-F for those of you who have Apple computers.
Yes, exactly.
That's correct.
So, I do that as soon as I see a study.
On hydroxychloroquine, and I put it in the word ZINC, zinc.
If the study did not have zinc, it is essentially useless.
To say that hydroxychloroquine does not work without using zinc is like saying a gun doesn't work that didn't have bullets in it.
Okay?
And the analogy is perfect.
It's not mine.
I don't know who it is, but I don't take credit for it.
The analogy is perfect because The gun is the transporter of the thing that kills, the bullet.
The thing that kills is the zinc.
The hydroxychloroquine is the gun that opens up the virus to be affected, removed, disintegrated, whatever, I don't know the scientific term.
And that generally, It's the end of the virus as a threat to a person's life.
There was an article on India.
India has a vast number of cases, vast numbers, vast countries, second most highest population in the world.
But they have relatively few deaths.
And so they try to analyze why.
And they say, well, because he locked down early.
And then there's another article saying, oh, well, he shouldn't have locked down so early.
The New York Times actually said that.
They don't know when you're supposed to lock down.
Anyway, he stopped the lockdown, and there's a great increase in cases, but no comparable increase in death.
And they don't have the health facilities in India that we have in America or they have in France.
Or Western Europe generally.
So why not?
There's one difference.
Hydroxychloroquine.
That's the difference.
People hate Trump more than they love saving lives.
I believe that because there is no other rationale for the opposition to hydroxychloroquine.
The mockery of the doctors last week.
Who appeared in Washington, the mockery, which is all the left knows how to do is mock.
They never answer.
They mock.
So there was an African-American, literally African-American.
I don't use the term generally for black Americans.
I use the term black.
But she is an African-American in the sense that she came from Africa, Cameroon, where I have visited, into 20 African countries.
And I know, you know.
I know where she's from.
I have a sense of Cameroon having been there, to West Africa.
So they got somehow a recording of a speech that she gave at her church where she said things, you know, some mystical stuff that I don't personally relate to, but I couldn't care less.
So they didn't focus on what she said about science, about the people she's cured.
They focused on stuff.
That comes from Africa.
There's a lot of syncretism in Christianity in Africa where you have tribal beliefs and you have Christian beliefs and they are melded.
This is a very common thing throughout the world in Christianity.
It's very hard to root out every traditional belief that people have had and I'm not sure it's always necessary.
Be that as it may, that's what it was.
And all they did, I read the Daily Beast, I mean, all they did is mock her speech in her church.
There was nothing about the science and the other people, the other courageous doctors who stood up there.
They say, follow the science, then scientists speak, and then they say, don't follow the science.
Follow the science that we agree with.
That's what the left means.
Follow the scientists.
with whom we agree, not follow science.
The lockdown is destroying countries.
It is the What is happening in America is beyond belief.
People won't be able to pay their rents.
What do you do?
Do the rest of the country pay their rents for them?
For how long?
And if they don't pay their rent, what is the landlord?
I know landlord is a dirty word.
I'm not exactly sure why.
I don't happen to own any buildings, so I'm not speaking on my behalf.
I just don't understand why landlord is a dirty word.
Building owner, would that be nicer?
Provider of apartments.
How's that?
Provider of apartments.
What is that person supposed to do with their debts?
Do they not still?
Have to pay if something goes wrong in your apartment?
Do they not have to pay the mortgage on that building?
Has the bank said, oh, you don't have to pay?
The notion that if you lock down, you end it isn't true.
You would have to lock down perfectly, not even essential businesses.
And for half a year, And then when people got out, it would start again.
That's the nature of this virus.
We'll be back.

I'm a board-certified emergency physician for 20 years.
In fact, until it seems like five minutes ago, I was considered a hero and people would be clapping and glad that I was doing what I was doing.
And then the video came out and I was summarily fired for appearing in what was told to me is...
All right.
I was sent a video, which I saw, obviously, of a black man apparently yelling at some black demonstrators or white demonstrators or both.
And if any of you know the place, or let alone the man, I would be...
It's in, oh good, Huntington Beach, California?
Okay, here in Southern California.
And it went up yesterday or the day before.
So let's hear this man.
It's a profound man.
Thank you.
*Advanced* Y'all know that stuff that don't exist like it used to?
Years ago, a white girl could have never...
I'm married to a Caucasian woman.
The most beautiful woman in the world.
So all this talk about racism and all this, don't listen to it.
It's a lie.
They don't know who they're mad at.
Remember, this started with George Floyd.
It went from George Floyd to now it became the white people.
Then it went from the white people.
Now it's the whole system of America.
They don't know what they're mad at.
They don't know what they're bothered by.
All we're saying, you guys, don't get caught up in the hype.
It's all war.
I am the happiest man.
I'm one of the happiest men in the world.
I'm one of the happiest, blessed men in the world.
If you could see my life, I thank God.
But that's what I told them.
I'm not oppressed.
The only people that's oppressed in this world is people that embrace being oppressed.
If you want to complain about something, there's a million things to complain about, but why not be grateful at what you have?
And this is what I say, if they're so bothered, why don't they leave and go to Africa and to another country?
If you're that bothered with America, hack your stuff, hold a crusade, because I think some of us will put money up and help you leave.
That was really something.
It was a spontaneous address.
But you know what my favorite line is?
I'm the happiest man in the world.
Remember my riddle?
What do you call a happy black American?
A conservative.
The left is composed of miserable people or people who will be made miserable because they're on the left.
Among the terrible consequences of leftism is misery.
You become unhappy.
Your life is a lament.
Gratitude is a dirty word.
That's what happens.
That was really, that was terrific.
All right.
I have so much to share with you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Wall Street Journal.
Countries hailed as models see a virus case revival.
Remember the stories blaming America's virus resurgence on states reopening too fast and praising other countries for crushing the virus with lockdowns?
Well, flare-ups are now recurring in several countries that recently eased their lockdowns and travel restrictions.
Victory declarations anywhere are premature.
France is recording twice as many new cases per day as two weeks ago, and last week mandated masks in public spaces.
Democrats blame the U.S. case surge on inadequate testing and contact tracing.
But the U.S. has averaged two to three times more tests per capita than most European and Asian countries.
Arizona, California, Florida, and Texas.
All were doing more tests per capita when they lifted their lockdowns than Germany, Spain, France, and South Korea have averaged.
Amid the post-lockdown flare-ups, it's worth revisiting Sweden, which has been widely criticized for never closing businesses and primary schools.
Cases have been falling over the past month after a modest uptick in June due to more testing.
Only 27 patients have died in the last week, fewer per capita than New York.
America's liberals cite Sweden's relatively high death rate, 56 per 100,000, compared to 45.1 in France and 35.8 in the Netherlands.
But two-thirds of the deaths have been among those over the age of 80, and 97% never received intensive care treatment.
Blame Sweden's socialized health system, which rationed treatment for the elderly, even though ICUs were never overwhelmed.
Isn't that something?
Did you know that?
That's really something.
I've been praising Sweden, and I continue to do so.
But just remember, why so many elderly died is because of its socialized medicine.
Socialized medicine, by definition, Will be, why did they laugh at her, at Sarah Palin?
Death panels?
Of course they'll have death panels.
Of course.
I know the left mocks because they only know how to mock.
They don't refute.
They have death panels in Sweden.
That's the point of the Wall Street Journal article.
You can't have unlimited socialized medicine.
That's all the country will spend on.
People have to spend their own money.
Just as they do on food.
Obviously, people who have no money need to be cared for.
The best way is to make it affordable for everyone to have insurance.
The lesson is that the virus won't disappear anytime soon.
That's right, exactly.
That's why we have to learn to live with it.
And yes, in some cases, die with it.
That's correct.
Governments may have to impose some business and social restrictions to protect hospitals and the vulnerable, but lockdowns aren't a miracle cure and their collateral damage is too severe to sustain.
That's correct.
Lockdown.
End society's economy.

And I have met maybe a few hundred.
And I have been...
It's probably the greatest single source of optimism I have is meeting the Prager Force members.

No, we haven't.
How old are you?
I'm 24. Oh, you're older for Prager Force member.
You're a senior member of Prager Force.
So, what year are you in at college?
So, I'm studying political science, and then I'm transferring to university soon, and then I will be doing my bachelor and master at the same time.
I want to do my master in international relations, and then hopefully I will go to law school.
Fascinating.
Where did you grow up?
Venezuela.
And when did you leave?
When I was 17, so almost seven years ago.
Do you still have family in Venezuela?
I do.
My whole entire family is there.
It's just me and my dad over here.
It's just you and your dad?
Yes.
Oh, wow.
Are you in touch with them?
Yes, I do.
I talk to them all the time.
And are things getting worse?
They're still awful?
Getting better?
No, things are getting worse.
It's just getting worse by the day.
When I was in Venezuela, I was doing a campaign against the government.
And that's one of the things why I left, because I was just still getting so involved into politics.
And we know how it ends in a socialist country when you speak up against the government.
So that's one of the main reasons why my parents took me out of the country.
So you came to the freest country in the world and now you see vast numbers of Americans who have a sort of Chavista view of life.
Right.
It's just insane, but I've been working into, you know, changing the type of mindset that our generation has.
It must boggle your mind.
I mean...
He does.
I mean, you leave Chavez and Maduro, and you come to Biden and Ocasio-Cortez.
And Bernie Sanders.
And Bernie Sanders.
Well, yes, it is Sanders' policies that govern that party.
So, look, so when you talk to people your age and say, you know, I have seen what you are advocating.
I left that.
I fled from there.
What do they say?
What I'm saying is not true.
And it just makes me mad because I lived through that.
I was protesting against the government.
I did campaigns against the government.
I was so involved that that's one of the reasons why I left.
My friends had gotten arrested.
One of my friends had gotten killed because of the government and their policies.
It just makes me mad to know that they don't want to open their eyes.
They don't want to hear you out.
Want to know what you have to say.
They don't care about what you have to say.
They just care about free stuff, and that's how they get them.
Yes, you are...
I wish you could speak to every single person, you know, of your generation.
How did you discover...
Yes, well, maybe we'll make it possible, or at least to many.
I would love that.
Good, I would love it too.
You seem...
So perfect for what the message we have to convey.
How did you discover PragerU?
So PragerU, because of Ana Paulina Luna, I met her at CPAC. I was talking to Ana about how I was from Venezuela and how I wanted to get involved in doing so many things over here.
And then she talked to me about PragerU.

I think I met her at CPAC, too.

Let me go to Georgia.
Jake, we got two Senate races down there.
We need Doug Collins.
We need David Perdue.
We need Republicans to turn out in Georgia.
I'm a Mr. Hewitt, big fan.
I always don't agree with you.
I'm going to vote for Biden for the presidency.
Right now, I'm not sure whether I'm going to go for the Republicans in the Senate or not.
Did you say you're voting for Biden?
Did you say you're voting for Biden?
I am.
I'm a lifelong Republican.
Jake, I appreciate it.
I'm not going to give you a second.
I appreciate your call.

I'm not going to give you a second.
I'm not destroying America.
People do not understand what a Joe Biden AOC administration will do.
We'll be done.
We're done.
Finished.
Kaput.
Joe Biden will not run that administration.
That will be run by AOC and the squad.
That will be 15 members on the Supreme Court, four new senators from D.C. and Puerto Rico.
It's the end of the republic because they've gone crazy.
So you call up and tell me you're voting for Biden.

Missy, you're on the Larry Elder Show?
Hello, Mr. Elder.
How are you?
I'm doing well.
How are you?
I'm doing awesome, thank you.
I have a couple of things I wanted to say.
The first thing is, if black people are not going to celebrate white people for their accomplishments, then you need to stop blaming us for your failures.
Because my accomplishments are mine.
And my failures are mine.
Number two, the police.
If you've never done that job, I would really appreciate it if the media, senators, congresspeople would stop telling us what the police and their job is.
I was an officer for 20 years.
85% of my job was social work.
It was comforting people when their family members passed away from drug overdoses, from natural causes, from suicides.
I broke up domestic disputes between a husband and a wife.
I found missing children.
10% of my job, tickets and accidents.
The other 5% was the insanity that makes the news at night.
So if you think that a social worker can do the things that we did, you're wrong.
We're here to protect people.
Yes, my friends, I'm Dennis Prager.
We say goodbye to our husband.
And I'm speaking to a Prager Forest member, 24-year-old.
Maria Fernando Bello came to the United States from Venezuela seven years ago studying international relations.
I looked you up during the break, Maria.
Are you the one wearing the t-shirt Make Orwell Fiction again?
Yes.
I want you to know that is one of the great pictures on the internet.
With the Venezuelan flag.
Don't forget that.
With the Venezuelan flag.
That is correct.
Yes, I just showed it to my producer.
That's correct.
Make Orwell Fiction.
Again, where did you get that?
That is a fantastic t-shirt.
So, I went to a conference last year, and they were giving that t-shirt away, so I got it.
Do you have close friends there in Virginia?
In Maryland, probably.
I have two Venezuelan friends over there.
Uh-huh.
So it's been harder to find the kindred spirit in Americans?
Well, not really.
I mean, I have American friends, too.
But the thing is, I live in Virginia.
Virginia is a blue state.
So every single person I know, they are either socialists or democrats.
So I'm kind of like, no, thank you.
I don't want you to be my friend.
Yeah, no, I understand that, and I don't think they're dying to have you as a friend.
I mean, when you have opposite views of the way your society should function, it's hard to be very close.
I mean, you know, we think they're destroying the country, and they think we're evil.
Yeah, that's the problem with the left.
They don't want to hear what you have to say.
No, no, clearly.
Yeah, so it's really difficult to make friends.
Have you seen our, what do we call it on PragerU?

Have you seen our series called The Americanos?

Yes, I have.

I would love to do one.
Good.
There you go.
It's done.
Thank you.
I am not a dictator, but I do have influence at PragerU.
I can't get to see that.
Listen, finally, I will ask you what I ask every PragerForce member.
Since it's fundraising month, in 30 seconds, tell people why they should help and donate to PragerU.
When do you want me to start?
Now.
Now?
Okay.
So I think Prairie U is actually one of the few organizations that actually care about their people and cares about what the young generation has to say.
So if you do support Prairie U, you're not wasting your money.
You're actually supporting the younger generation.
You're actually making our country the best you ever can.
Well, I can't wait to meet you.
I cannot wait to meet you either.
Thank you.
Thank you.
If she's not special, then I am not Dennis.
I am blown away by these.
Where do we find these people?
Do they find us?
I guess so.
There are 10,000 of them.
You've got to look her up, folks.
She is so adorable with that t-shirt and Venezuelan flag.
I am just empowered speaking to these PragerForce members.
When I met them from all over the world, remember, and I addressed, I think that's on, is that on, at PragerU or on YouTube?
My fireside chat with PragerForce members from different countries?
Yeah, you should see it.
It's very, because you see them, of course, asking questions.
Oh my god, we've got to fight.
We've got to fight.
Who would have imagined?
I have an understanding.
I want you to understand.
Here is my thesis in a nutshell.
I don't think I've put it this way.
I've certainly moved in this direction.
I have even more clarity than ever before.
The Judeo-Christian tradition value system basically died in Europe after World War I. It did not die in the United States.
What happened when the Judeo-Christian value system died in Europe?
You got Nazism, Fascism, and Communism.
That's a fact, not a theory.
100 million people ultimately killed.
Europe was devastated by Nazism and Communism and Fascism.
And the United States did not have either a Nazi or a Fascist or a Communist take over.
Because America continued to believe both in God and in the country.
Americans believed in America.
Americans believed in the Bible, their Christian values.
After World War II, having nothing to do with World War II, unlike World War I in Europe, just chronologically, it started to die out.
The greatest generation did not raise their kids to understand it.
How important America or God was.
So the baby boomers became very secular and have produced what we now have.
So now America is confronting communism just as Europe confronted Nazism, Fascism, or Communism.
When Judeo-Christian values die, Other things take over.
You don't get nothing.
You get something.
It's the way it works.
Secular conservatives, whom I have addressed my whole life, you're terrific, but you don't understand the basis of conservatism is that little motto, in God we trust.
The Dennis Prager Show, live from the Relief Factor Pain-Free Studio.
The Dennis Prager Show, live from the Relief Factor Pain-Free Studio.
People haven't really worked out.
In the society, with the police who bear the sword.
Their conscience doesn't know how to function, and if it does, they're told to silence their conscience because they shouldn't feel guilty.
Then crush the family, wipe out the family, destroy fathers.
And go after the police, defund the police, and now you've eliminated the personal restraint, the family restraint, the societal restraint, and then go after the church and shut the church down, and you've got literally a satanic free-for-all going on in society because they have removed all the God-given restraints.
That's exactly the process that we're seeing play out.

This is what America is going through now.
And we don't know who will win.
Will America or the left?
And if you're on the left, you can't deny that that is an accurate description of the battle.
They loathe this country as it is.
They wish to completely transform it.
They say it.
Even Thomas Friedman, who was considered a liberal, not a leftist, at the New York Times, said we should Remake the motto of the country from many, one, to from many, many.
Or from many, we.
Remember which one?
Many, we.
That's what they want.
They want to change it all.
It all comes from a pursuit of meaning, out of the meaninglessness left by a lack of belief in God.
And I don't mean God.
A lot of them say they believe in God as a meaningless, the God of the Bible, okay?
And the Judeo-Christian value system and the love of America.
That's what...
You know, they mock the notion that people venerate God and country.
I do.
What do you want me to venerate?
The New York Times editorial page?
The rioters?
Who should I venerate?
They don't venerate anybody, right?
Everybody's crappy.
The left is great.
Washington?
Tear them down.
Lincoln?
Tear them down.
Right?
You realize the hubris?
We are wonderful.
Everyone who lived before us was a piece of crap.
That's it.
That's the view.
That's what your kids get, so they get nothing.
What do they get to believe in?
Anti-racism?
In the least racist country in the world?
Did you hear the black man that I had?
I wonder how many blacks think like he does.
I do wonder.
I don't know the answer.

Hey there, folks.
I'm talking to Pastor John MacArthur.
He's with Grace Community Church in Los Angeles for a few years now.
Something has happened in American public life where the church has been forced to be more political.
There are many people who say that, look, I simply cannot vote for a man who is thrice divorced.
He was clearly a womanizer.
He can be vulgar.
He boasts.
He's not behaving in a way That seems to me consonant with Christian faith.
What do you say to people who object to Donald Trump?
Well, Donald Trump isn't our pastor and he's not a theologian.
He's a president.
That's a function of leadership.
Look, if I have a brain tumor, I don't need to know the doctrinal statement of the brain surgeon.
I just want to know that he's been in somebody's brain and got back out again and the guy's alive.
So, this is competency.
This is competency we're talking about.
And some measure of upholding biblical morality.
If you have to choose between Donald Trump's view of morality, whatever it was in the past is irrelevant.
What it is now is...
Closer to Christianity than the other party.
And again, what I was saying earlier is simply this.
Politics has been reduced to a moral battle.
I can't vote for somebody who advocates same-sex marriage, transgender invasion into the lives of children, doing medical procedures and allowing all of that.
You have to go for the party that is closest.
in its policies to what is a biblical morality, that we have to fight to hang on to whatever of that is left.

I watched that hearing yesterday, the House Judiciary Committee.
This is basic.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Dennis Prager.
If you called in and we kept you on, stay on.
You know, let me take this call.
This is very important to me.
I don't usually begin with a call.
Have I taken any calls today?
It's been so busy, I haven't.
I'm Dennis Prager.
Hello, everybody.
Orland, Illinois.
And John, hello.
Hello?
Hello.
Mr. Prager, it's an honor to talk to you.
Hearing your, not story, but when you're talking about the hydroxychloroquine and articles that don't have zinc in it, my wife, who's a nurse practitioner in natural medicine along with conventional medicine, she will not read an article that does not have the zinc within it, and also she looks at...
The amount of hydroxychloroquine that has been given because she says that basically a lot of these studies are just trying to debunk the use of hydroxychloroquine with zinc.
And real fast, because I know you have other people, we had two people that are very close to us that had COVID. And she was able to get them through a means of hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and vitamin A. I wish she would write this up somewhere.
Anywhere.
Because with the internet, anything, anywhere gets publicity.
It's going to be very interesting when and if, presumably, there will be recognition that in the first week Of being COVID positive, this can save your life and does in many cases, or at least, and certainly many people from being seriously ill.
Hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and azithromycin.
Vitamin A is a new one to me.
I'm going to look it up.
So when it becomes...
Pretty clear that that's true.
Like it became clear there was no Russian collusion.
Will people know that the New York Times lies and the Washington Post lies routinely?
That they're propaganda pieces of work?
I was not thinking of an expletive, by the way.
Or CNN. Oh yeah, CNN. Well, CNN doesn't...
I don't know if they really see themselves as a news organization.
They do?
So they truly self-delude.
But the thing is, they get away with it.
See, that's the point.
It will just be dropped as an issue, just like Russian collusion was dropped as an issue.
They're always wrong.
It's an amazing thing, the left is always wrong.
I don't think I've ever put it that way.
I've always said they ruin everything they touch, but to be always wrong, not liberals.
Liberals, you know, run the gamut.
Conservatives do.
But the left, it's almost like a guarantor of having a broken compass.
If the left says north, the odds are it's south.
If the left says west, it's overwhelmingly likely it's east.
There is blood on the hands of the people who are knocking hydroxychloroquine.
The governors who banned it, have they ever banned a completely legal, non-toxic medicine in their lives?
Has it ever happened?
Why would they do that, folks?
Why would they do it?
I'm going to read to you something.
This will knock your socks off, on the assumption you're wearing socks, obviously.
Health Impact News, August 1st, Saturday.
Philippe Doucet-Blazy, MD, is a cardiologist and former French health minister.
And he served as Undersecretary General of the United Nations.
He was a candidate in 2017 for director of the World Health Organization.
Alright?
You like his curriculum vitae?
In a videotaped interview on May 24th, Dr. Deust Blasey provided insight into how a series of negative hydroxychloroquine studies got published in prestigious medical journals.
He revealed that at a recent Chatham House top-secret closed-door meeting attended by experts only, the editors of both The Lancet and the New England Journal of Medicine expressed their exasperation, citing the pressures put on them by pharmaceutical companies.
Now, you guys on the left should be thrilled about this.
This is anti-Big Pharma.
Right?
But the hate, the left doesn't hate Big Pharma as much as it hates Donald Trump.
He states that each of the editors use the word criminal to describe the erosion of science.
Dr. Deuz Blasti Started a petition that has been signed by almost 500,000 French doctors.
They have 500,000 doctors?
Oh, and citizens.
Oh, okay.
Urging French government officials to permit physicians to prescribe hydroxychloroquine to treat coronavirus patients early before they require intensive care.
That's what we need.
We need a vast petition.
That would be great.
The issue has become highly politicized.
The left-leaning politicians and public health officials are adamantly against the use of HCQ. Now why would they be?
Is that also Trump?
You think so?
Whereas those leaning toward the right politically are for the right of doctors to prescribe the drug as they see fit.
Public health officials, I thought that they're pro-choice.
The only thing the left is pro-choice on is abortion for any reason at any age, at any time of pregnancy.
That's the only thing they're pro-choice on.
Public health officials, academic physicians, and the media, all of whom are financially indebted to pharmaceutical companies and their high-profit marketing objectives, vehemently oppose the use of HCQ By derisively referring to President Trump as its booster.
On May 22nd, The Lancet published, quote, hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine with or without a macrolide for treatment of COVID-19, a multinational registry analysis, unquote.
It was described as an observational study purportedly involving more than 96,000 hospitalized COVID-19 patients.
In 671 hospitals across six continents.
What was not disclosed is the fact that the two lead co-authors have significant relevant financial conflicts of interest that just may have biased the reported findings.
It gets really dark.
Really dark.
Remember, this was published in one of the two most prestigious science medical journals in the world, The Lancet.
The database belongs, this is the database that they cited, to Surgisphere Corporation, whose founder and CEO is Dr. Sapan Desai, who is a lead co-author of the study.
Dr. Desai has refused to disclose the data for independent confirmatory review.
In fact, he refuses to identify the participating hospitals or even the countries.
This was published in The Lancet.
Dr. Mandeep Mehra, the lead co-author, is a director at Brigham and Women's Hospital, which is credited with funding the study.
That's a disgrace to Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Dr. Mehra and The Lancet failed to disclose that Brigham Hospital has a partnership with Gilead and is currently conducting two trials testing remdesivir.
Which is made by Gilead, the prime competitor of hydroxychloroquine for the treatment of COVID-19.
So a corrupt hospital, too.
Within days of publication, Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and declared on CNN, the scientific data is really quite evident now about the lack of efficacy.
That alone should tell you a lot about Dr. Fauci.
Citing a phony study and drawing a conclusion from it.
A media blitz against hydroxychloroquine created panic.
Clinical trials aimed at testing hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19 were suspended by international public health institutions including the World Health Organization.
The U.K. government regulatory agency and the French government.

The story about the hydroxychloroquine study published in The Lancet and then withdrawn, largely because they're under tremendous pressure from pharmaceutical companies to publish studies that are good for pharmaceutical companies.
And you know, I've been a defender of pharmaceutical companies all of my career.
But they're not looking good now, I've got to tell you.
With this, it's better to, you should take a few thousand dollar pill better than one that costs a few dollars.
Hydroxychloroquine is incredibly cheap.
Remdesivir is a fortune of money.
I'm reading to you.
This was reported, again, by the guy who was considered to be the next head of WHO. One of the biggest scientists in France, former French health minister.
He's reporting this.
On May 29th, the New York Times reported that 100 scientists and clinicians raised serious questions about the validity of the Lancet report findings.
It reported that on May 29th, Dr. Mehra issued the following statement.
We leveraged the data available through Surgesphere to provide observational guidance to inform the care of hospitalized COVID-19 patients.
What the hell does that mean?
The guy who wrote the article writes, Perhaps someone can translate what leverage the data means.
Oh, God.
Disputed hydroxychloroquine study brings scrutiny to Surgisphere, an investigative report by Catherine Oford in The Scientist, May 30th.
Looked deeper than others and uncovered background information about Dr. Desai and the changes in Surgisphere's product line and his marketing methods.
In 2008, Surgisphere was the publisher of medical textbooks that ran afoul when physicians complained about falsified rave reviews.
It's a phony company that made these studies.
The scientist reports that Dr. Desai is named in three medical malpractice lawsuits.
That were filed during the second half of 2019. The fiasco of the publication of essentially fraudulent reports in the journals, with the greatest impact on both clinical treatment and public health policies, reveals how thoroughly corrupted so-called peer review has become because it lacks external independent reviews by scientists who have no stake in the study outcome.
It was only after the reports by The Scientist and The Guardian that the editors of the New England Journal of Medicine and The Lancet were compelled to issue an expression of concern.
This fiasco demonstrates why intelligent people seek alternative sources for reliable information.
May I repeat that?
This fiasco demonstrates why intelligent people seek alternative sources for reliable information.

See, I've believed my whole life that what I have to say is either valid everywhere or it is valid nowhere.
It's as simple as that.
That's what I believe about the Bible.
That's why I'm doing this massive undertaking, taking over much of my life, my Bible commentary.
Because it either has something to say to everybody, or it has nothing to say to anybody.
As I have said to Jewish audiences, the Torah is only for Jews like Beethoven is only for Germans.
All right, everybody.
Let's go to Chris in Westminster, Maryland.
Hello, Chris.
Hi, Dennis.
Thank you for all you do for our country.
That's very kind.
You're welcome.
So, I'm a college student.
I'm 22 years old, about to enter my senior year.
In fact, I had the pleasure of talking with you once before.
I was that blind college student who called and you asked me some really interesting questions which I really appreciated.
Thank you.
I wanted to provide a student perspective on this idea of virtual learning and online classes.
As much as there is value to it and as much as I appreciate the technology that we We are blessed to have at our disposal now.
There's a missing piece.
There is the great, in my opinion, pro of it is that though we're still having to deal with the same teaching style and the same indoctrination in some areas,
although I'm fortunate enough to go to a school where there's not a lot of that, I'm able And other students are able to have the time and the ability to listen to you and to your colleagues at Salem and watch PragerU videos to counterbalance that influence.
In fact, one time I kind of got in trouble for that.
Because in a break during a class, I was muted during the meeting, and I was listening to your show through other earbuds.
And I had missed somebody calling, the professor calling on me, and when I finally got the cue, I sent a chat message to another student, and I said, sorry, Dennis Prager is in my background.
And she said, good for you, I'm listening after class.
Alright, great story.
I gotta take a break.
It's always good to talk to you.

Hey there, folks.
I'm talking to Pastor John MacArthur.
He's with Grace Community Church in Los Angeles for a few years now.
Something has happened in American public life where the church has been forced to be more political.
There are many people who say that, look, I simply cannot vote for a man who is thrice.
Divorced.
He was clearly a womanizer.
He can be vulgar.
He boasts.
He's not behaving in a way that seems to me consonant with Christian faith.
What do you say to people who object to Donald Trump?
Well, Donald Trump isn't our pastor, and he's not a theologian.
He's a president.
That's a function of leadership.
Look, if I have a brain tumor, I don't need to know the doctrinal statement of the brain surgeon.
I just want to know that he's been in somebody's brain and got back out again and the guy's alive.
So this is competency.
This is competency we're talking about and some measure of upholding biblical morality.

Hi.
Okay, everyone.
I have a genuine hero on the line.
I'm sure I'm embarrassing her by saying it.
But you all know I mean it when I say it, because I don't say it very often.
Dr. Simone Gold has been on this program before.
She's an emergency room physician.
She led the Frontline Doctors Group in Washington, D.C., that widely, widely covered meeting in Washington.
Which drove the left into their usual mockery.
That's how they think they refute things.
So, Dr. Gold, it's a pleasure to have you on the show.
Hi, thank you so much.
Thank you for having me.
So what's happened to you since the Washington conference?
You know, I've been saying for a long time that there is a massive disinformation campaign, and people need to see that...
The way you do censorship is first you do misinformation, then you do a disinformation campaign, and then you do full-on censorship.
So when you've gotten to the point that physicians cannot speak about an FDA approved medication, then you've gotten yourself full-on into censorship.
So that's where we are.
We had a very non-controversial summit that was full of all kinds of educational information.
We actually had seven hours of educational teaching where doctors were talking to the American public through social media.
In the middle, we had done a press conference.
The press conference got the most attention.
It got 18 million views in eight hours.
I'm told it was the most viral video of all time.
The president tweeted about it.
His son tweeted about it.
And promptly, the social media big tech companies, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube, all de-platformed or demonetized this, and people could no longer see them.
In addition, Squarespace, where I hosted my own website, really illegally, Just took over my site and canceled it, which is unreal.
So I had to very quickly scramble and put up something else.
This is very difficult, and also a lot of people were looking for the information and couldn't find it.
I know that because I've had hundreds of thousands of people contact me.
So we're getting it up.
In fact, we have it up now, and people can look at the information themselves.
Nobody has to believe me or any of the other doctors.
They can read all the information for themselves.
And I just want to urge all Americans to care deeply about free speech.
It's actually affecting...
Something as basic as your physical health.
Let me just review this for my listeners.
The thing that provoked doctors, again, doctors.
How many of you were there?
How many doctors?
We had about 18 of us there, but there are hundreds, if not thousands of us.
Right.
So 18 doctors were at this conference, medical doctors.
May I just interrupt for one moment?
I want everyone to know, all these doctors...
Came as volunteers.
All the logistical support was volunteer.
They're showing up because we really care about the American people.
That's right.
So, these medical doctors were silenced by big tech, the tech companies.
You should know that PragerU can no longer tweet because we even, we tweeted, we are locked out of Twitter.
PragerU, to this moment, is locked out of Twitter.
Because Twitter deems us as purveyors of false information regarding COVID. As if they know what is false information.
But 18 doctors backed by thousands of other doctors who may or may not be in the minority of doctors today.
I have no idea.
I don't think anyone has an idea.
It would be very interesting if we could take a poll of 10,000 random doctors.
And see if they think that hydroxychloroquine and zinc is completely unhelpful and may even be bad in the first days of a COVID-positive person.
So that was the reason that you have been shut down, over hydroxychloroquine.
Yes.
So they're saying that we're saying something's false.
Not only is it not false, it's harming people to say that it's false.
So there's been lots and lots of studies over the past several months.
Maybe there's been 50 studies.
That's a guess.
They all show that hydroxychloroquine plus zinc work well in the early stages.
Some of the studies were inconclusive or negative if you gave it late in the disease.
But when you read the studies, the studies were fatally flawed because they gave too much of the medicine or they gave it without zinc or they gave it too late in the disease course to make a difference.
So it's very important that people distinguish between early COVID disease And late COVID disease, they're essentially two different diseases.
The early is about viral replication.
Hydroxychloroquine and zinc work extraordinarily well.
From my personal experience, it's a magic bullet.
Many doctors say the same thing.
Then if you didn't get it and you're in a late disease, it works modestly well, it still helps.
But if there's any controversy about the drug, it's a later disease.
The reason I said there's any controversy is I would never withhold this drug from virtually anyone because it's exceedingly safe.
It's been given billions of dosages, over 65 years FDA approved, and derived from quinine, which is found in tree bark.
This is a complete and non-controversial medication.
Exactly.
Hold on there if you would, Dr. Simone Gold.
I want to find out what happened to her when we get back.
I'd like to tell you what could happen to you if you take relief factor.
You might actually get rid of pain, specifically muscular, joint, and the like.
This is not a nerve pain issue.
Nerve pain is a different world and often not treatable, without surgery at least.
But if it's muscles, here's the deal.
It's so effective, so fast, that you will know in three weeks if it works.
So they give you a three-week trial for just $20, $19.95.

We should not stand for discrimination, bigotry, hate.
No way should four police officers be involved in a death of a man like George Floyd.
So I ask you this question with great caution.
Do you know what the average NBA basketball player makes?
I asked my operations manager, Eric Hansen, who follows the NBA. I don't.

Now, when you get to death, when you get to police shootings...
Is it necessary to go to college to succeed in life?
Jeremy Boring, the CEO of The Daily Wire, doesn't think so.
He explains why in the new truly important video for PragerU.
See it at PragerU.com where we teach what isn't taught.
It'll affect people.
Is it necessary to go to college?
PragerU.
Dr. Simone Gold organized the doctor's conference, the physician's conference, last week.
That got so much attention.
I want to repeat what she said.
18 million views in how long?
Eight hours.
Yeah, it must be a record.
It was considered the most viral video of all time.
Right.
Now, that's an interesting thing unto itself.
Why would 18 million people view it?
I mean, this was not broadcast on television.
So, yeah, that's a great question, Donis.
I think that we are effective messengers.
However, the American people are the ones that are hungry for this information.
Yes.
That's simple.
Well, right.
So, I think it's a very important thing to remember.
18 million people.
Don't watch crackpot ideas, all right?
It just doesn't happen in eight hours.
18 million people, savvy people.
Maybe they don't all agree.
Now, let me ask you, I mean, this is obviously, I just was covering this, so in a nutshell, if you can, why the hatred of doctors who advocate hydroxychloroquine and zinc?
Pressure from above to silence any positive news about hydroxychloroquine.
It's very specific to hydroxychloroquine.
There's another medication called ivermectin.
People don't talk about it as much.
And they're not targeting ivermectin.
So there's a very concerted effort to target hydroxychloroquine.
And people always ask me why.
And I say, listen, if you've not got the best early contender, you've got to assume that the people still standing are the ones that benefit.
I have to emphasize, I've never seen anything like this in medicine.
That's right, never.
Or governors banning an innocuous drug?
Let me share something hot off the press for your listeners.
This is brand new, exclusive to Dennis Prager, which is that we're now putting up a map of how difficult or easy it is.
To get hydroxychloroquine in different states.
We're really tired of having the discussion about it being safe or efficacious.
If there's no question that it's safe, there's really no question that it's efficacious.
So we're just moving on.
We're going to show the American people where they can get the medication.
Where will people be able to see it?
That will be up today.
I'm going to send you the link.
Right, but up where?
It's going to be at my website.
I want to say it.
I want people to hear it.
So they, you know, they took my website name.
Yes.
It was rebuilt under AFLDS, America's Frontline Doctors, AFLDS.com, and it's going to be on that site very shortly, you know, within a few hours.
Okay.
AFLDS. That's a very important map.
Now, finally, if you feel comfortable in speaking about it, what happened to you where you're working as an emergency room physician?
Yes, I was absolutely fired.
On the other hand, the specific reason is that I appeared in an embarrassing video.
So, I don't particularly want to name my hospitals because I think that could be any hospital USA. I don't think they're any worse than any other hospital.
They're responding.
They're doing what they think is right, given the amount of public pressure.
Now, it's wrong, right?
But I don't know that they should be targeted any more than anywhere else.
And I'll talk with my attorney, Lynn Wood, and I'll decide if I want to make that public or not.
But there's no question that I was fired, and that was the reason.
In text.
I mean, I have it in text.
That's the reason.
And you were in an embarrassing video.
Yeah, but it gets worse than that.
Talk about the silencing.
Let me tell you this.
So what I said, you know, you should put me on some kind of administrative leave until it dies down.
What they said to the group, the emergency doctor group, is that if you don't fire her and get rid of her, we're going to sever the contract for the whole group.
Meaning that all my colleagues, my emergency physician colleagues, the physician assistants, they would all lose their jobs too.
I mean, it's incredible.
I'm sorry, I missed that.
Who threatened whom?
So, emergency doctors have a contract with the hospital to provide emergency services.
They said if I don't go away quietly...
Well, who's they?
Sorry, who's they?
It's me.
The hospital has said that if I don't go quietly into the good night...
Then?
Just nicely, that they're going to pull the contract from my group, which is my peers and my friends.
Oh, so it's sort of a blackmail.
Yeah, no, it reminds me of societies that, you know, they don't just kill the criminal, they kill the family.
Yes, like North Korea.
Yes, no, it was astonishing to me.
The hospital itself would fire its own entire emergency room staff if you didn't go?
Right, so then they would try to get another emergency doctor group to fill in, which is crazy.
It's just crazy.
Did any of your colleagues come to your defense?
Oh, no, they all did.
They all do.
They all do.
I'm one wife at my work.
I mean, this is just a crazy...
They did?
Really?
No, no.
Did they do so publicly?
Did they do so publicly?
I don't know that anyone has asked them publicly because I don't speak about this publicly, but amongst each other, they've all called, they've all said it multiple times.
So, again, I don't...
I feel like the hospitals on that are any different than any other hospital.
You know, the hospital I used to work at issued a public statement that I don't work there and that they endorse the CDC. Why do they feel the need to say that?
Right?
Right.
Who do you think is pressuring them?
I think it's massive social pressure now.
I don't even think it's anyone individual.
Right, exactly.
That's what I think.
That is exactly right.
Well, as I said, I consider you a hero.
And I suspect tens of millions of Americans feel the same way.
I just want you to know.
Well, I'm here.
We are all the doctors.
The American Spotlight doctors are here for America.
Yes, by the way, they're all heroes.
I mean, you know, Bob Hamilton, who's been on this show, is one of the great pediatricians in this country.
He's an author.
He's a saintly human being.
He has come under tremendous fire.
I know.
That's why I'm citing him.
Anyone who can have him as a pediatrician is a lucky person.
All right, bless you, Simone Gold.
Thank you so much.
You're welcome so much.
Amazing.
Amazing what you have to fight.
What did I tell you, folks?

The answer?
