Time Text
Thank you.
Since the lockdown has begun, I've been ambivalent about saying, hope you had a good weekend.
Since those of you are locked down, Saturday and Sunday is not all that different from Monday and Tuesday, is it?
Say that, Lee, we are living in strange times is like saying water is wet.
Or the left is destructive.
Just a given.
In any event, to the extent possible, I do hope you had a good weekend.
Monday is a difficult day for me.
You know, I am very open with you.
The decision I made at the beginning of my career, and like everything, it has a price.
But the price is worth paying.
And the Monday show is in some ways the toughest because I devote so much time on Sunday, this Monday evening in particular, to reading so much bad news.
It cannot not have an effect on me.
It obviously reinforces my belief that we have to fight.
The country has never been this threatened since the Civil War.
And in the Civil War, there were many people who still believed in America.
Well, there are many today, too.
Please do not fool yourself, although many people do.
Especially that very morally confused group known as Never Trumpers.
I don't know what the excuse is to be an adult and be so morally confused.
The vote is not about Donald Trump.
That's another one of the gigantic lies of our time.
The vote is about America.
If Mike Pence were the candidate, the exact same thing would be true.
The vote is about America.
You want it to go where the left wants it to go?
Or not?
That's what it is.
It's not a matter of you want it to go where the right wants it to go.
The right doesn't want it to go anywhere.
The right wants to resist the left.
So I have a story after story for you to illustrate my plan.
And I shall begin.
And a good Monday to you from all of us at the Dennis Prager Show.
At some point, I'm going to read to you a piece in the New York Times about what the left wants.
It's a column by a left-wing law professor who exactly says what I'm saying.
Liberalism is irrelevant.
We are leftists.
We will reshape the United States.
Just to give you an example, they want people to be freed from paying rent.
No one should have to pay rent in the United States.
This is communism.
This is what they have in mind.
But I want to read to you one of the most Remarkable pieces.
Now, the Daily Mail has twice lied about me, but nevertheless, they often have good articles.
Daily Mail is so gigantic, I don't think they even know what they print, and that's not a critique much of the time, if they have somebody who sends in a piece.
So if a leftist writer at the Daily Mail writes a piece, then they publish it.
Particularly two stupid articles about me.
But I'm not going to stop reading what has some good articles.
Listen to this one from the Daily Mail.
Hollywood's identity crisis.
Actors, writers, and producers warn of reverse racism in the film industry, which has created a toxic climate for anyone who is a white, middle-aged man.
A revolution is underway.
White actors are being fired.
Edicts from studio bosses make it clear that only minorities, racial and sexual, can be given jobs.
A new wave of what has been termed by some as anti-white prejudice is causing writers, directors, and producers to fear they will never work again.
One described the current atmosphere as, quote, more toxic than Chernobyl, unquote.
With leading actors afraid to speak out, amid concern they will be labeled racist.
The first sign came with one of the most powerful black directors in Hollywood.
Oscar-winning Jordan Peele, the man behind box office hits such as Get Out and Us, stated in public, That he did not want to hire a leading man who was white.
I don't see myself casting a white dude as the lead in my movie, Peel said.
Not that I don't like white dudes, but I've seen that movie before.
As one studio executive responded privately, if a white director said that...
About hiring a black actor, their career would be over in a heartbeat.
Unquote.
Few doubt it.
I have much more in this article, but let's analyze it at this point.
So you have a major black director saying, I cannot see myself casting a white dude in the lead in my movie.
This is...
The product of the left.
That is as pure a form of racism as you have in contemporary life.
When I read this article, there existed a cognitive dissonance in me.
On the one hand, It's obviously evil, unprecedented, except perhaps in times of, you know, Jim Crow, but certainly in the post-1960s America.
That's 60 years.
On the other hand, if anybody deserves it, it's Hollywood.
Hollywood has produced some of the biggest fools, liars, and corrupt people in America.
When Robert De Niro, as low a life as exists in Hollywood, gets up at major award ceremonies and says F, and he says the word Trump, to the cheers of these people, You think I am going to cry for them?
When they get eaten up by the monster they created, it always happens that these people are utterly ignorant of history.
They probably went to color.
And you learn nothing.
And a rudimentary knowledge of communism is this.
They always eat their own.
There is no exception to this.
You help the left gain power, and then you are drowned.
They throw you overboard.
There is no exception since Lenin.
Not John Lenin.
Vladimir Ilyich Lenin.
That is the way it works, Hollywood.
The De Niros of Hollywood helped make this possible.
Good luck.
My heart breaks for the average guy who did Nothing.
But for those of you who helped sustain the left and crapped on the United States of America, you deserve it.
Fools ultimately pay a price.
Unfortunately, non-fools also pay a price because the fools are so destructive.
And there is a competition between Hollywood, the university, and Journalists on which is the most destructive force in society.
It's a very difficult call.
Nevertheless, for the guy who has not crapped on America and joined the leftist chaos in Hollywood and who now will not have a job, my heart does go out.
If you're in Hollywood, you might want to give me a call.
You are anonymous.
I will continue.
I'm Dennis Prager.

No one stood up to him.

Because he was black.

They can turn back voting rights.
Didn't nobody donate to us the right to vote?
You're a house nigga.

Most black people don't believe that other blacks can be independent free thinkers.
I believe the legacy and the ancestry of black Americans is being insulted every single day.
I will not pretend to be a victim in this country.
I know that that makes many people on the left uncomfortable.
Racist.
Racism.
A thousand cuts of racism.
The liberal will try to control a black person through the concept of racism because they know that we are very proud emotional people.
I never felt that because I was black or I was poor or a woman that I couldn't do something.
I grew up being told of my disadvantages, that this country is unfair to black people.
The ideology is implanted into you subconsciously to believe these things.
It's like a cancerous plague in the mind of black Americans.
We're brainwashed to think.
Or is it because I'm black?
America's not ours, so we got shipped here.
No.
Our blood is on this soil.
We own this too.
There should be a pride that we have in the fact that this country was built by many great black men and women.
Are you trying to say that this country does not specialize in racism and bigotry?
So long as black people continue to have their psyche filled by that nonsense, we won't have an awakening.
The Larry Alder Show. . .
That is pure racism.
That is acting like an acknowledgement of the value of black people is somehow belittling.
Painting Black Lives Matter acknowledges the value of black people.
When in fact what we're trying to do is lift up people who have built this city and built America and haven't been given their respect.
By painting Black Lives Matter in front of Trump Tower, we are lifting up black people.
We're giving them jobs.
We're giving them education.
giving them health care by painting Black Lives Matter in front of Trump Tower.
And it can't just...
Oka-doke.
.
1-8 Prager 776. I'm continuing with this remarkably honest article in the Daily Mail about what is happening in Hollywood.
So last was Jordan Peele, one of the most powerful black directors in Hollywood, said, I don't see myself casting a white dude.
As the lead in my movie.
Next, dozens of producers, writers, and actors have spoken to the Mail on Sunday about the wave of reverse racism pulsing through the industry.
I wonder if the Mail on Sunday is different from the Daily Mail otherwise.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, the executive confirmed that the climate is now toxic.
For any, quote, white, middle-aged man in show business, their careers, quote, are pretty much over.
They continued, we're only hiring people of color, women, or LGBT to write, star, produce, operate the cameras, work and craft services.
If you are white, You can't speak out because you will instantly be branded racist or condemned for white privilege.
The pendulum has won so far, quote, this is a quote, everyone is paralyzed but with fear by the idea anything you say could be misinterpreted and your career ended instantly.
There are a lot of hushed conversations going on.
But publicly, everyone is desperate to be seen to be promoting diversity and too terrified to speak out.
It's imploding.
A total meltdown.
The left destroys everything it touches.
Next is Hollywood.
Everything.
There is no exception to it.
It is an evil force.
Liberalism has a noble history.
Leftism has a despicable history.
The reason many people don't know this is they haven't learned history.
That's all you need to know.
The latest buzzword in Tinseltown is BIPOC, B-I-P-O-C, an acronym for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
And, get this one, Men-A-M-E. Men-A-M-E. That's N-A-M-E with an M. Which means a white male enemy of the diversity movement.
Everyone wants to be able to check all the boxes for each new hire, according to one Oscar-nominated insider.
Quote, Directors normally have a say about who was in their project.
Not anymore.
It's all about BIPOC hiring black indigenous people of color.
And it's coming directly from the heads of the studios who know their jobs are on the line.
White middle-aged men are collateral damage.
They are the men of me, unquote.
Why are the heads of the studios heads on the line?
I don't know the answer to that one.
Who's going to fire them?
Let's see, if you're publicly owned, will the board?
Of the stockholders?
I don't know.
Anyway, now you see how communism took over Russia, how Nazism took over Germany, how fascism took over Italy.
You are living through it.
It's a combination of cowardice and the evil of the doctrine.
An actor in his 50s who has worked on some of the biggest shows of the past 20 years described how during a recent audition, the casting director told him he was, quote, perfect for the part, but they had been instructed to hire a person of color for the role.
I get it.
I really do, the actor said.
You gotta hear this.
I understand Hollywood still has a long way to go before people of color are properly represented on screen.
But how am I supposed to pay my mortgage, put food on the table?
Everyone is terrified.
And you can't say anything because then you set yourself up for public crucifixion.
Now, I am unaware, and it might be a...
It truly might be my fault that black actors are underrepresented in Hollywood.
So I looked up the ten richest black actors and they got a lot of money.
Will Smith, Samuel L. Jackson, Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington, Ice Cube, Martin Lawrence, LL Cool J, Eddie Murphy.
So I'm not quite clear as to what underrepresented is.
What is the percentage of blacks in the United States?
Is it 11%, 12%?
Are they truly 13%?
Are they truly underrepresented?
I'm not even making an argument.
I'm asking a question.
I mean, that's a...
That's quite a list, no?
I mean, these people are bona fide stars.
I don't quite understand what is going on here.
All right, so let's continue.
1-8 Prager, 7-7-6.
Yeah, it's the same list, whatever I look up, the 10 more it should be, because it's subjectively true.
So let's see here.
I interviewed Samuel L. Jackson.
An interesting event.
And let's see.
Will Smith's estimated net worth is $215 million.
Hmm.
Denzel Washington, $150 million.
Yeah.
Okay.
These are all indices of serious racism in Hollywood.
Dismissing such complaints, however, quietly expressed Selma director, that's the director of the movie Selma, Ava DuVernay, now one of the most powerful black women in Hollywood, wrote on Twitter, everyone has a right to their opinion.
Well, I'll give it to you when we come back.
This woman is a piece of work.
Never have such successful people been as despicably resentful and ungrateful as people on the left.
Black or white.

Britt Hume had this to say to Brett Baer about the press coverage in the Mount Rushmore speech on Monday.
Well, the first thing is, Brett, President Trump never mentioned any dead Confederates.
His speech in its bulk was a ringing, a full-throated defense of America's history and heroes.
And there were no Confederates mentioned.
It was all the forefathers of our country, Washington, Lincoln, and other great Americans.
And...
And that was really the main bulk of it.
So what she said is flat out false.
And those headlines you mentioned from those newspapers were unbelievably misleading.
And some of the other headlines that I saw were even worse than those.
In fact, as I followed this over the weekend, I don't think I've ever seen such dishonest and biased coverage of any event.
This was a speech meant to be...
Up right there, that's for you, Peter.
And I'll just add Holman Jenkins, who's a wonderful objective columnist at the Wall Street Journal, wrote this morning.
So here we are.
America faces the virus, the protests, the new and dangerous tension with China, and the most tumultuous election in recent memory.
And it does so without thought leadership worth the name, with only intellectual and emotional chaos from some of our once credible news organizations.
I played the president's entire speech on Monday because I thought it was one of his best of his presidency, along with Saudi Arabia, Poland, Normandy, and the last State of the Union.
I just played the whole thing.
I thought it was wonderful.
What has happened, Peter?
Where did this disconnect develop?
Well, we had my colleague Mike here on an hour ago, so I'm going to agree with whatever Mike said, because I don't want to get off on a disconnect between the two.

Your response to these calls to defund police forces across America, Greg?
Well, we need law enforcement.
I mean, the line is used over and over, but it's well asked.
Who are you going to call when you're in trouble and the subject of destruction of your property or, you know, an assault, a battery, rape, murder?
You know, who do you call when you witness these things or you are the subject of them?
You know, it's silly.
It's stupid.
It's an overreaction.
I can understand a movement that wants greater, more equal justice in our law enforcement and our system of justice.
But again, the way to go about doing that is not through extortion and threats.
And occupying private property as well as public property, but to petition your government.

Hi everybody, I'm Dennis Prager.
This is, uh, so I'm going to read this quote, and then I'm going to take some calls.
This is from Ava DuVernay, described in Daily Mail, one of the most powerful black women in Hollywood.
She wrote on Twitter, quote, Everyone has a right to their opinion, and we, black producers with hiring power, Have the right not to hire those who diminish us.
So to the white men in this thread, if you don't get that job you were up for, kindly remember, bias can go both ways.
This is 2020 Speaking.
It's amazing that the woman became so powerful in Hollywood with all this anti-black bias.
Yes, and all this anti-woman bias, of course.
you We live in the age of the lie, because the left is powerful.
What is going on in Hollywood is beyond belief, but nothing is beyond belief.
Pittsburgh, Dylan.
Hello, Dylan.
Dennis Prager.
Hi, Dennis.
Thanks for taking my call.
Just to give you some background, I'm semi-retired now.
And I've been working and have worked as an actor in all facets of the business since the late 70s.
And I can tell you that this hysteria over racism or sexism in the entertainment community is so overblown because I've always seen, whether it was in theater or in film and television, everyone would bend over backwards to promote either women or people of color as directors, writers, actors.
And it was always the case.
It was a very liberal, as you would know, left-leaning kind of thing.
And what I've noticed over the years, it's getting worse and worse with the PC culture and cancel culture, that if you are white, and I'm 66 now, and I'm not working so much more now as an actor because I left L.A. about 12 years ago, but my friends that are still there in the business tell me constantly about them not getting jobs, not even getting a call to audition.
Because the pendulum is swung so far in the other direction that if you are white and you're straight and you're even conservative and you admit it, you are blacklisted.
It's become unbelievable.
That's correct.
Excuse me?
Go on.
I'm agreeing with you.
I can't.
Yeah.
What happened?
One second.
One second.
My apologies.
Go on.
There is a very famous old acting school in the Los Angeles area that is now under siege by a bunch of young, radicalized acting students who want to shut down the school because it didn't make a statement that black lives matter.
When the current owner who runs the school is a good friend of mine who saved the institution.
It's being attacked.
His children are being attacked.
It's been shut down, as you would know, since March 15th because of this COVID-19 hysteria.
It may even go under.
But now with the added attack of these people saying that they're racist and sexist and giving all these incredibly outrageous and lie statements, another great institution that taught actors, very famous actors, by the way, over the years, to have wonderful careers is now being Well, as you mentioned, it's your own.
That's right.
That's correct.
You need to remember, my dear listeners, the left builds nothing.
It destroys everything.
That, by the way, is a good example of, in general, Marxism, communism, socialism.
It takes the wealth that non-socialist things create.
All wealth has been created by capitalism.
There is no exception to that.
Socialism merely spends what capitalism makes.
If you destroy capitalism, you destroy wealth for everyone, except for the heads of the left-wing government that enforces this.
Maduro is eating out fine, and so are the heads of the armed forces, which is why they remain loyal to him in Venezuela.
Everything that is happening has happened.
What is not expected was that it would happen in the land of the free and the home of the brave, but in the course of my lifetime, it has been less free, and people are less brave.

The powerful blacks in Hollywood who have no problem saying we don't want to hire whites gives you an idea of the arrogance that leftism has bred in people.
It's mind-boggling, actually.
So, once again, remember, the left eats its own.
It has been true for every communist regime, and we are living through an attempt of communism to exist in America.
I've never talked this way in my life.
I've never used the C word, even.
But that is what it is.
I also believe that many of these people would create re-education camps where they would send people away who differed with them.
There's no doubt in my mind.
There is no limit to the evil.

The Killing Eve's Jodie Comer, celebrated for playing a bisexual assassin, last week faced intense criticism on social media.

Okay, she played a bisexual assassin.
So why would she face intense criticism in social media?

So this woman who has been so outspoken for gays, bisexuals, transgender, blacks, and now, but she's dating a man who supports Donald Trump.
It is inconceivable that this would happen the other way around.
Inconceivable that a conservative hero would be trampled on by conservatives for dating a Biden or even Bernie Sanders supporter.
At worst, and even I would say this, I'd say, look, love is powerful, but it doesn't overcome everything.
And marrying a fool could be problematic.
And if you support Sanders, you're a fool.
But I would never attack that person.
I would just advise the person to tread carefully, as I would to any of you.
To marry somebody who believes the opposite as you do about society is...
It's dangerous for the relationship.
It's true for both sides.

William in Atlanta, Georgia.
Hello, William.
Hey, Dennis.
Thank you for taking my call.
I've been an actor, well...
I've worked in LA for the last 20 plus years and we started seeing this trend in actors of color in the commercial world starting about five or six years ago.
I'm a middle-aged white guy and honestly I was really thrilled to see a shift in the advertising practices of America's biggest company to accept My fellow actors of color, because there's so many brilliant, wonderful, lovely human beings who are just incredible actors who have been overlooked so many times because of their skin color.
So I was really excited to see that change, even though I knew that it was going to cost me work and it was going to cost me money.
So much so that I actually had to leave L.A. You know, the rule has always been, At least from my understanding, maybe I'm naive, but the rule has always been whatever is right for the project.
And so with regard to casting, you cast whoever is right for the project rather than whoever is right for the ideology of the people in charge of the project.
So if that person, if the person who was right for the project was a person of color, great.
No problem.
I wasn't right.
But what's really disheartening is to hear statements from people saying that there's an explicit movement to not hire people because of their skin color, which is ironic to me because it, you know, it's only...
The people who created these systems, many of which are long dead, Now to punish the people who kind of haven't realized, maybe, that they're the beneficiaries of this system?
Yeah, well, that's what's happening.
I wonder, in light of this, in the secrecy of the ballot, I was going to say ballot box, but that's becoming anachronistic, secrecy of the ballot, how people in Hollywood will vote.
The vote the left is trying and has tried for four years to indoctrinate you that it is about Donald Trump.
It is not.
It is about the left.
If you vote Democrat, you are voting for a takeover of this country by totalitarian forces.

And I do agree with you, and it's a major portion of this book to demonstrate the truth of what you've said.
One way in which I do that is comparing the French.
and the American revolutions because I think the critics of the American Revolution are saying well they're basically the same revolution and well of course we're seeing that in the streets of America today from the people who think that is true however the French Revolution was premised on the idea of the perfectibility of man here now That if we can only put within the
power of the state absolute control, man can be perfected.
The American founding was an explicit denial of that.
As you just mentioned, it was a Christian nation that had a profound sense of the imperfect ability of man due to original sin.
And that the only perfectibility available to man was through the grace of Jesus Christ, and not through his own powers.
I was going to say.

While we're talking about the powerful blacks in Hollywood, you can't get more powerful than Oprah.
And according to The Hollywood Reporter and other Pulitzer Prize winner, anyway, let's see.
The New York Times landmark 1619 project.

This gigantic lie that the New York Times perpetrated, the greatest historians, including anti-Trumpers, Princeton and elsewhere, they are...
They have called this basically a lie.
America fought the revolution against Britain in order to keep slavery.
Britain hadn't even abolished slavery by 1776. It's just a gigantic lie to undo America.
The New York Times has spearheaded the Hate America campaign.
Oprah Winfrey has now picked it up.

America's not ours, so we got shipped here.
No.

We own this too.
There should be a pride that we have in the fact that this country was built by many great black men and women.
Are you trying to say that this country does not specialize in racism and bigotry?

How many students have you got registered for the next academic year?
Yeah, it's crazy.
This year, our online population exploded to 108,000.
Our previous record was 98,000 in 2014. And our resident population, you know, we only have so much room.
But we're full, just like we were last year, even in spite of COVID. So it shocked me because I thought parents would be afraid of this virus.
But it's 18- to 23-year-olds.
Our plan is to protect professors who are older with plexiglass and staff members that are older, keep them separate from the younger population.
But I see no reason why 18- to 23-year-olds should have to wear masks.
I've had parents contacting me with kids at other schools saying, they're going to make my kid wear a mask every day, all day.
And I said, well, unless this crazy blue state governor we have requires us to do something nuts, I see no reason why we can't keep everybody safe.
Just by protecting the at-risk population.
Or it could be like my son's college, a prestigious college out west, that has said to him and his fellow students, see you in January.
That's incredible.
And that's complete disregard for the students that they should be serving.
I mean, they've got to get on with their lives.
They can't stop their lives because they might catch a virus.

Our media today is fundamentally ignorant of anything that happened that they don't want to know about.
Well, I'm thinking, I'm not sure they're as much ignorant as they just simply don't care about facts and evidence.
I think we have a liberal elite that is post-truth.
Truth is irrelevant.
And that's one of the themes of the 21 biggest lies about Donald Trump and you.
If you don't restrict yourself to bourgeois conceits like having to prove things and applying facts and evidence to come to a conclusion and to accept the possibility of actually changing your position, you get certain advantages in the fight for power.
Now, I think they're short-term advantages, but it is definitely something that they have absolutely embraced.

Hello, all.
I have been reading to you a remarkable piece about what the left is doing to Hollywood and how black directors and producers are...
Very public about the fact that they don't want to hire whites.
But remember, I was taught this all the way back in college.
Graduate school.
Only whites could be racist.
It all started with the left in academia and journalism and it spread everywhere.
The edifice of lies upon which leftism is built.
A black cannot be a racist.
So therefore, this has been accepted, including by Hollywood people on the left, whites included, and now they are being devoured by their own, which is exactly what happens.
And so a black producer, a millionaire, black producer, or director, Has no problem in announcing, I have no interest in hiring whites, as I quoted to you earlier, from Jordan Peele, and from the Ava DuVernay.
She's the most powerful, one of the most powerful black women in Hollywood.
That's it.
If you don't get that job you were up for, Conley, remember, bias can go both ways.
This is to the white men in this thread.
This is 2020 speaking.
She's right.
This is 2020 speaking.
All right, let me continue here.
This is from the Daily Mail.
It's truly a sign of our times.
All right, let's continue.
If you are brown and female and gay, then come in.
This is citing.
Who is this person citing?
Oh, somebody in Hollywood.
If you are brown and female and gay, then come in.
We're all getting diversity training.
Now listen to this.
This is, you have no idea how pure totalitarian this is.
We're walking on eggshells during every Zoom meeting.
It's got to the point where if there's a person of color in the meeting, we can't hang up before they do for fear of it being considered offensive.
This is exactly the way it was in the Soviet Union.
I've told the story I don't know if I have on this show.
That when Stalin would speak, the Politburo would all stand up and feverishly applaud.
What is it?
Pravda would describe reactions.
Well, I was alive, but I was five years old when he died.
But after that, even under Khrushchev and Brezhnev, continual applause.
And do you know why?
Because everyone in the Politburo was afraid to be the first one to stop clapping.
They might be sent to the gulag.
That's what I remembered when I read this.
If there's a person of color in the meeting, we can't hang up before they do for fear of it being considered offensive.
See, what the left has done here, black and white, neither is more responsible than the other.
Both are responsible.
Is have made relations between the races artificial in many cases.
They have asked whites, the official stance of the black community, unless you're a conservative black, is, I am not to be treated as another normal human being.
I am to be treated as a black person.
And that's not the same thing.
Of course, black is normal, white is normal, but I am not just another human created in God's image.
I am a black first.
You are a white first.
This is, and as I've pointed out, the lack of attack of this notion on the part of rabbis, priests, and ministers is a failure of religion in and ministers is a failure of religion in America that is breathtaking.
The cowardice in the clergy is not what I expected.
There are some exceptions, usually evangelical, not all evangelical, but they are as cowardly As producers in Hollywood, what the hell is the use of religion when the crunch comes,
or let's put it this way, as Abba Ibn did in the Six-Day War, what is the use of an umbrella that does not unfold when it begins to rain?
It's raining.
And the religious umbrella is broken.
That people are afraid to hang up before the person of color does.
One film editor who did dare speak out has seen his career all but destroyed.
Nathan Lee Bush.
Bush, who has shot commercials for corporations such as Budweiser and Nike, criticized a post on a private Facebook group which read, I need an editor looking for black union editors.
Bush, who was white, described the advert as an anti-white racism, excuse me, as anti-white racism, and wrote, look what we're asked to tolerate.
The people openly and proudly practicing racism are the ones calling everyone racist to shut them down.
And anyone who dares to speak up is cancelled, their livelihood and dreams stripped from them by a baying mob.
But voicing his concern proved disastrous.
One of Bush's main clients, the U.S. restaurant chain Panera Bread, vowed never to work with him again.
And Bush has since been forced to apologize.
Oh, that's the worst part.
The people apologize for saying what's true.
Panera Bread?
It'd be very difficult for me to enter your restaurant.
The list of the people who shut down Liberty in America is a long one, and Panera Bread will be on it.
They're in the ascendant now, but history will judge.
Who destroyed American freedom?
And Panera Bread will be on the list.
They don't care now because they don't care about what their name will be historically.
Just as the people who supported fascists in Germany or communists in Russia didn't think, gee, how will I be viewed by history?
Let alone, how am I viewed by God right now?
Well, indeed, this is what is happening in the United States.
Okay, I know, Michael, I know you keep calling back.
I'd love to take your call, but it's not on target, so only on Friday or when I discuss it.
He's from the Soviet Union, and I feel for him.
Why socialism doesn't work.
That's not the topic right now, so I just want you to understand.
And this is what is happening in the United States.

He had to apologize.
That's the part that really...
It won't work anyway.
That's the joke.
I assume he's toast.

They will never...
All he said was that the advertisement, I need an editor looking for a black editor, is racist.
Of course it is.
The amazing thing is...
See, I have to believe a lot of blacks know how ultimately humiliating this is.
I said this since the beginning of my career as a broadcaster 35 years ago.
I was a kid, so to speak, and I said it then.
I said, the reason I'm opposed to affirmative action, that was for college admission, Not primarily because it was unfair to non-blacks, but because I thought it was demeaning to blacks.
Because every black achievement, or any, not every, but so much black achievement will then be questioned.
Did you achieve it, or was it affirmative action?
Did you get into this college because you...
Met the criteria that everyone else meets?
Or because you're black?
Why isn't that demeaning to blacks?
Leftism demeans blacks.
But people don't think that way, I guess.
Well, not everybody.
Black conservatives think that way.
You know, it's amazing the number of black conservatives on the internet and how powerful and eloquent and funny they are.
So I really do wonder what the black vote will be in this coming election.
I have no idea.
I do wonder.
Many fear it will have the opposite effect.
That is, the intentions.
But while the intentions are undoubtedly good, though I don't think they are, many fear it will have the opposite effect.
One Emmy Award-nominated white writer said, I have never known people so fearful.
Houses are being put up for sale.
People are moving out because even when things get back to normal after the pandemic, there is going to be no work.
It's about fairness, another writer said.
I've spent the past three years mentoring young black writers.
But now I'm out of a job, and it's nothing to do with my abilities as a writer.
People think of Hollywood as a place where dreams come true.
But for people like me, it's turned into a nightmare.
That's my last read from this long article.

Now it is Hollywood.
Cannot tell you how angry I am at Oprah Winfrey.
Now she will be creating a whole world of 1619 lies.
Great New York Times lie that America was founded, not in 1776, 1619. Her participation in this ruining of history, this lie, makes me have contempt for her.
Why she, who has benefited from this country in an almost uniquely positive way, would join in tearing down America with the New York Times lie?
It's a puzzle to me.
Maybe she's just totally ignorant of what the leading historians of America have said about the 1619 lie, but they've called it a lie.
So your kids will be learning the 1619 lie in school.
3,500 schools, I believe, have taken up the curriculum.
And now Oprah Winfrey will be making series about it to be seen all over the world.
Never in the history of the world have people who have so benefited from a generous country so crapped on it.
People like Oprah Winfrey.
Amazing.
It's a phenomenon.
The word ingrate doesn't quite suffice.
Yep.
Okay, America.

So listen to this.
I was right.
It was a New York City Community Education Council meeting of District 2. So listen to this.
Oh, I have my guest.
Let me go to my guest first.
That is important.
I had him on last week because we keep hearing about the pandemic in Houston in particular.
So at Houston Methodist Hospital, one of the major hospitals in Houston, Dr. Bo Brees is an emergency room physician there.
So, Dr. Brees, welcome back to my show.
You're becoming a media sensation.
I guess so.
The picture of me in a hat in the New York Times, like I said.
But it's good to be back on the air with you.
Thank you.
Well, you have a better chance of doing this than I do of doing your work.
Let's put it that way.
There is no danger of my being an emergency room physician.
Let me ask you, because it's now a bombardment in the news that Houston will be the new New York City.
And the hospitals are now moving ICU patients into extra rooms and so on.
What is actually happening?
Well, what's actually happening is that overall, considering that we had a peak that probably peaked about two weeks ago in terms of initial onset of cases, we're doing really well.
More capacity than we need to deal with the issue at hand.
We did have, you know, the disease lasts about three weeks.
So about two weeks ago in the ERs, we had our peak volume.
And then it's been steadily declining.
For example, this week was about 25% lower in our system than it was two weeks ago.
And so you see the deaths peak, you know, a couple weeks later.
The folks that unfortunately pass away from this illness.
So we did have our biggest number of deaths in Texas this week.
112 people passed away on one day this week, which means that compared to New York, since the comparison seems to be to New York that we're seeing in the media over and over and over again, we hit 11% of their worst day.
Not quite the new New York.
That's on your worst day.
Yeah, that's our worst day.
And just to put that in perspective, remember Texas has 50% more people.
We've got 50% more people in Texas than New York.
So in order for us to be in a similar level for the rate of death from coronavirus in Texas compared to New York, for the rate of death, we would have to have...
More than double our worst day every single day for the rest of the year.
Assuming no one dies in New York of coronavirus for the rest of the year.
It's a completely false narrative.
We're going to work.
It's a little less slow than it should be because folks with cancer, diabetes, end-stage renal disease, with electrolyte issues, people with strokes, they're not showing up in our ERs because they're so afraid to.
Because the media has terrified them.
And a very interesting study came out today.
I don't know if you saw it.
VCU and Yale got together and did some data on excess deaths that's occurred recently.
And in March and April, about 30,000 more people died, plus or minus, than should have.
Not because of coronavirus deaths.
And it seems like a lot of that was because folks...
Weren't able to get in to see their doctors, weren't able to get their prescriptions, were too terrified to show up at emergency departments for legitimate emergencies like chest pain.
So it wasn't from the coronavirus?
Well, there were excess deaths from coronavirus.
No, no, clearly, but I'm saying, but a serious percentage of it was not from the virus.
It was from people not getting treated.
35% of the excess deaths were from people not being treated.
And it's the fear and it's the destruction of the economy.
And all of its effects.
My little girl can't go to dance class, right?
She can't go to dance class.
The arts are closed.
Elton John can't perform.
You know, we can't enjoy sports.
We can't educate our children.
Literally every part of what makes our culture what it is, is being destroyed.
And to the extent that we have history, you know, folks are taking care of that with statues.
It is, as we typically see, I'll be direct here, I think that what we're seeing is an attempt to change the narrative because the left did so poorly in dealing with coronavirus compared to the right, that they have to make this be what the story is.
And, you know, when I was talking with...
Yeah, hold on there.
This is really important.

You know, Arab slavers took more blacks out of Africa to the Middle East and to South America than European slavers took out of Africa.
to North America or to the colonies.
You know that?
And don't get me started on the death rate.
It is estimated that around 10% or so of the slaves in the transatlantic slave trade died in transit.
It is estimated that as many as 90% of the slaves died in transit, going out of Africa, walking on foot across the Sahara Desert.
And by the way, the reason you don't see a whole lot of descendants of slaves in the Middle East is because, for the most part, they were eunuchs.
That's right.
They cut off their, you know what, in order to make sure they weren't going to reproduce and have sex with women there.
Whereas on the American side, they wanted them to reproduce because the more slaves, the more free labor they had.
D.C. is in Dallas, Texas, D.C. So I think it's important we talk about whether we were better off.
We have to start with the assumption that the slaves that were transported to America would have been slaves in Africa as well, because they were already captured in captivity and sold en masse by African chieftains.
In fact, even Ghana recently apologized for their role in the slave trade.
When the individuals said we're better off or things like that, in that old movie, Mr. Elder, The Ten Commandments, an older guy said, man makes slaves.
God makes man.
So whether the transporting of slaves is wrong, whether it's black, white, whatever gender, it's wrong.
It's evil.
It's probably the evilest thing that has ever existed.
It's to enslave human beings, no matter where it existed.
Right, and D.C., let's acknowledge it's existed from the time the human beings are on the face of the earth.

The Supreme Court...
has ruled that a New York grand jury can subpoena the president's tax records his financial records and tax returns but blocked a similar request from congressional investigators and sent both decisions back to the lower court.
So as I'm reading through this and as I'm listening to and reading analysis from the court watchers it appears that what the court is saying is that a president is not immune From criminal prosecution, but in kicking it back to the lower courts, I guess Trump can continue to tie it up in the courts as a partisan investigation by Cy Vance and congressional Democrats continues to try to take him down.
So I guess it's a mixed bag, is the best I can come up with.
And here's the president's reaction on Twitter.
He tweeted moments ago, the Supreme Court sends case back to lower court.
Arguments to continue.

Let me give you an example as I return to Dr. Bo Breeze, emergency room physician, Houston Methodist Hospital.
This is from The Insider.
And, Doctor, I'd like you to hear this as you continue your thinking on the air.
This is the way things are being reported.
Coronavirus cases and deaths are skyrocketing across Texas, and Houston has become one of the worst-hit cities.
Hospitalizations have more than doubled throughout the state in the past two weeks, with nearly 80% of beds in use.
Authorities predict Houston hospitals and ICUs will become overwhelmed in the coming days.
On Thursday, Texas reported the second day in a row of more than 100 coronavirus deaths, and the second time it surpassed a record of 10,000 new daily cases.
These photos show the harrowing reality of what it looks like inside a Houston hospital right now.
Coronavirus cases and hospitalizations have skyrocketed throughout the Lone Star State in the past two weeks.
Okay, so I just want you to know how it's being reported.
Certainly.
Yes, and it's a lie without context.
You know, we've lost 3,000 people here in Texas, all of whom I wish were alive, of course.
And they lost 32,000 in New York.
We have plenty of capacity.
My system actually, you know, we shut down a COVID unit this week because we didn't need it, and we had the ability to build it back up if we need to for capacity.
We have flexible capacity.
And I think a lot of that, you know, it speaks to the way that the narrative is being played.
And it also speaks to the different ways in which we address the issue successfully versus folks in areas of the country that are controlled more by socialists.
You know, our first question wasn't, how do we comply?
How do we fit in with the group?
Our first question was, what can we do to address what could be a very serious issue?
And we enacted a lot of plans after much debate.
That how to create flexible capacity, and how to keep our patients safe with the proper, you know, protective equipment, and how to make an adjustable policy as far as what treatments we were doing.
And then we looked to see what the rules were, and if they were in the way, we found a way to change them.
Whereas in states like New York, I think a lot of the mentality of the left, to be honest, is, you know, how do I fit in with the elite group?
How do I comply?
What are the rules?
A lot of the issues they had were from the inflexibility that comes from that part of the mentality.
I mean, another thing is that, you know, our focus was on thinking about the science of the disease.
How does it spread?
How could we treat it?
How can we sort of slow down the spread while we figure out just how bad it is?
Because initially, it seemed like it was going to be much worse than it was with, you know, potentially 5% of worse death rates.
And they were thinking that the biggest issue was stigma.
Remember, Pelosi was in Chinatown.
I believe it was in early March.
Telling people that they needed to interact with folks and be more, you know, and be around populations more that could have the disease, because their biggest issue was stigma, because they wanted to stigmatize the president for doing the travel ban, which, thank God, he couldn't place those things down enough for us to be able to be ready for this.
You know, at the same time that we in Houston were sort of self-isolating without government orders to do so initially.
It was voluntary.
You had folks like George Stephanopoulos chiding us for ignorance and attacking people for not wearing masks.
Well, he himself had coronavirus and then was walking around his neighborhood without a mask because the elites see, I think, a lot of us as peasants.
That if they can just convince us to do what they see as the right thing, they can use that as an indulgence to free them from their sins.
And you see it in policy after policy, and I'm seeing it in my own life, in the way that I'm taking care of my patients here in Houston, and the way that they then disparage us with lies.
I mean, we have, what, six, seven percent of the—our worst day was six or seven percent of the death rate of the worst day in New York.
Doing much better.
We're doing a much better job.
We're 37th in the country for death rate.
New York is second.
New Jersey's first.
And this is a lesson for how things can work, but the media must obscure it because to do so, to shed light on this, would be to shed light on the way in which they destroy the whole system for the things that are important for us.
God bless you.
One more question.
You may not know the answer because it's something you You just mean, well, forget it.
You may not know the answer.
And that is, who's dying?
Is it again overwhelmingly old people with secondary conditions?
Yes.
You know, people of every age group, of course, die of this disease, as with any disease.
But the vast majority of the folks who are dying are those who are older with multiple comorbidities.
Asthmatics have a tough time if they're younger.
Pediatric population, kids are incredibly resilient against the disease.
Even if they have a lot of medical problems, they seem to do pretty well.
I take it you believe schools should reopen in the fall?
Schools should reopen.
Education's important.
And this is another point.
I'm glad you brought that up, Dennis.
When the schools reopen, there will be another peak.
That's to be expected.
But it's one that...
It's one that we can handle.
The question isn't whether people are going to get coronavirus or not.
To the extent that they get it, that's largely determined by genetics and the extent to which coronavirus requires a herd immunity and what percent that's at.
But our policies determine when they get it to a large extent.
You know, how much can we slow down the disease?
And education is absolutely important.
I'm very in favor of that occurring.
From a healthcare perspective, too.
You know, if health workers...
Can't have a place for their children to be while they're working.
It's a struggle.
It's a struggle for labor.
We act like the only price paid is opening up.
People don't ask, what's the price paid for closing down?
Yeah.
It's enormous.
It is enormous.
You know, I think what we see here is a classic example of, you know, we chose more freedom in general as our response to it.
We changed the rules to make things more flexible so we could do things that help.
They chose less freedom.
And the results speak for themselves in the data, if you give it context.
If you give it context.
Exactly.
And that's what they need.
Well, I will stay in touch with you, Dr. Beau Breeze, Houston Methodist Hospital.
Thank you.
The lying media.
The president is right about that.
It's getting worse.
So I read to you a typical example of the hysteria that has accompanied the reporting on COVID. The whole time.

How important is the issue of courage amongst average Americans, General Flynn?
Not war heroes, but just average Americans.
Right.
I think average Americans need to understand that if they want to continue to breathe...
A fresh air of liberty.
That they have to find within them resolution, a sense of courage in their own way to stand up.
And I do believe that, as I just mentioned about rule of law, that the front line of defense on the streets of America are the men and women who serve in blue and who serve in our law enforcement.
Those law enforcement professionals, from the cops to the commissioners.
Those are the ones that we have to stand alongside with and cheer them on in their jobs because they're the ones that show up in the dark of the night in our neighborhood.

Someone is not following the president's direction.
Is it, in your opinion, the Pentagon, the Navy, or OMB? Or all three?
There are only three sources of data point here.
OMB, Pentagon, meaning Esper and his team, or the Navy, meaning the CNO and the Secretary of the Navy.
Which one is it?
I think, in this case, I believe it's all...
I think the Pentagon, certainly since Mattis came in, was highly focused on readiness, right?
And all the money was going towards recouping some of the readiness that I think is well established, and they did a good job of establishing that the Obama administration, there was a significant gap in how much money was being allocated to train and maintain our forces.
So the Navy in particular had a significant readiness gap from the amount of times that they were just deploying aircraft carriers vis-a-vis the deployment schedule, because they would go out for these 9, 10, 11 month deployments to fill presence requirements overseas, but then would come back and have short turnarounds, not enough maintenance, and go right back out.
That took a heavy toll on the Navy, and they've been working out of that hole ever since, but the Trump administration came in saying, okay, we're going to You know, we're going to focus on building the fleet up.
But there was a disconnect between what Mattis was focused on and what the president said he was focused on.
And indeed what the president said he was focused on last week when he said we're building...
Yeah, it's as recently as last week.

Why do so many white women hate themselves? .
It's got two paragraphs that are very scary, and one example was not pointed out in the article.
It had nothing to do with it, but an example.
New York City Councilwoman freaks out over a white man holding black child.
His nephew had a friend over who had a child who's black.
Friend is black.
So the kid came on his lap.
He bounced him up and down, and she called it racist.
Started screaming.
This woman.
It hurts people when they see a white man bouncing a brown baby on their lap and they don't know the context.
That is harmful.
But she was screaming.
So he just asked her.
You could see this.
It's on the internet.
It was a Zoom meeting recorded.
So he said, what's racist about my bouncing a black kid on my knee?
So she said she would never answer.
She just said, read a book.
Read Ibram Kendi.
I've read Ibram Kendi.
It's moronic.
That guy is...
It doesn't matter.
Anyway, it doesn't matter.
That's the answer.
Read White Fragility.
Read How to Talk to White People.
she didn't answer him just this is it's it's it's a mania that we are living through This was the nephew of a friend.
The nephew of the friend.
The friend was black, the nephew was black, bouncing on his knee.
The problem...
Thank you.
The psychological mechanism that drives the woke white woman of 2020 into Black Lives Matter obedience is the same mechanism that would have driven her into the National Socialist Women's League of Nazi Germany in 1941. It might sound weird, but both appeal to the same forces.
Craving for status, the need for belonging, obedience to overwhelming propaganda, hatred of a common perceived enemy, Terror of being lumped in with the unfit.
Fear of shunning by the in-group.
And rejection of objective morality.
It's an intelligent woman who wrote this.
That's right.
I believe that the analogy is apt.
A final critical question is an unsettling one.
Where does the woke white woman draw the line?
If she can be an arsonist, a provocateur of black police officers, and an easy fit for a mob, what else would she do?
Yep, that's the question.
I'm Dennis Prager.

I believe the legacy and the ancestry of black Americans is being insulted every single day.
I will not pretend to be a victim in this country.
I know that that makes many people on the left uncomfortable.
Racist.
Racism.
A thousand cuts of racism.
The liberal will try to control a black person through the concept of racism because they know that we are very proud, emotional people.
I never felt that because I was black or I was poor or a woman that I couldn't do something.
Racist.
Racist.
I grew up being told of my disadvantages, that this country is unfair to black people.
The ideology is implanted into you subconsciously to believe these things.
It's like a cancerous plague in the mind of black Americans.
We're brainwashed to think.
Is it because I'm black?
America's not ours, so we got shipped here.
No, our blood is on this soil.
We own this too.
There should be a pride that we have in the fact that this country was built by many great black men and women.
Are you trying to say that this country does not specialize in racism and bigotry?
So long as black people continue to have their psyche filled by that nonsense, we won't have an awakening.
The Larry Alder Show .

Now, I've got two callers this morning.
One said Trump derangement syndrome has mutated into Trump derangement virus.
That it is now spreading with the speed of the coronavirus everywhere in the media.
And then I had Detective Tom, who I hope, I really hope you talk to Detective Tom.
Well, hello, everybody.
Dennis Prager here.
It's been an intense show.
Correct?
And I don't think the intensity will decline right now, although there might be an element of humor, because he's also funny.
And the he, in this case, is Kurt Schlichter, who's a columnist, former Army colonel, former stand-up comedian.
What else are you former?
Oh my gosh!
Well, I'm continuing to be a Los Angeles trial lawyer, so I've got that deeply superficial resume entry going down.
It's great to talk to you, by the way.
That's very sweet of you.
It is funny, though, when I kept saying former.
It sounds like you're somewhat in the grave.
I've actually retired from the Army after 27 years, and it's just baffling to me that I could be retired from something.
I think I'm more active than I ever was before.
Life is very strange in that way, isn't it?
I'm with you.
I have never been as busy as I am now.
My dad worked for a big Fortune 500 company back in the late 80s when they still gave you golden parachutes instead of just booting you out the door.
He retired, and you know, so he's been retired for like 30 years, and the guy's always busy.
Yeah, that's the beauty.
By the way, it is a blessing to one's children.
I know we're going to get to your book in a moment, obviously, but it is a blessing to one's children if a parent, I'm talking about adult children, if a parent is busy.
I always said, my parents passed away at 89 and 96. Mother 89, father 96. And I said, and my listeners remember, how lucky I was.
I knew it all of my adult life that my parents were so busy that I didn't have to take care of them.
No, it was, I knew how lucky I was.
They were effortless.
I don't think my parents would allow me to take care of them.
One is a retired army or a naval officer.
The other was a judge.
So, you know.
You're the son of a naval officer and a judge?
I am.
Oh, that explains a lot.
Oh, boy.
Naturally, because my dad was in the Navy, I had to go into the army.
Yes, of course.
Naturally.
And as for being a judge, which I would never be.
I'd be a terrible judge.
I'm a better advocate.
You know, I think I just went to law school because it was really hot and dirty in the Middle Eastern desert during Desert Storm, and I was like, you know, I think I need to do something that's a little more relaxed.
I know.
I'll go to law school.
That's adorable.
I have one more question as I get into your book.
The book, by the way, is The 21 Biggest Lies About Donald Trump.
That's funny.
And you.
You have in parentheses in the title.
That is so true.
You have dedicated...
I love reading dedications.
Dedicated to Irina, Jay, and Jay.
Yeah, I don't think the folks need to exactly know my kids' names.
And that's okay with them.
They're both in high school.
Oh, that's why you did it.
Oh, of course.
That's just to...
Avoid embarrassing them more than necessary.
It wasn't mistresses.
No, no.
My wife is Cuban, so Kirk couldn't play that even if he was so inclined, which he isn't.
I have a wonderful wife.
You've met my beautiful wife.
That's right.
She is an American by choice.
Her father came over, became a soldier.
Her brother was a soldier.
She waved goodbye to me, holding our daughter as I deployed after 9-11, my second deployment.
And, you know, I believe Americans by choice are special Americans.
That's correct.
I couldn't agree with you more.
21 biggest lies about Donald Trump.
I want to give people an idea.
He writes the way he speaks, which is informative, interesting, and fun.
So here's a list.
I won't do all 21, but it's important.
Trump is a racist.
Trump is stupid.
Trump hates LGBT people.
Trump is Putin's pet.
Trump is literally a Nazi.
Trump is totally corrupt.
Trump is a warmonger.
Trump hates immigrants.
Trump hates women.
Trump is not a real conservative.
Trump hates the free press.
Do you know, as I looked at the list, and I only read 11, but as I looked at the list, I realized that you're right.
These are the things that are always said about him.
And they're all lies.
And what's worse is they're really being said about us, because I'm convinced that Donald Trump, they don't hate Donald Trump.
They used to love Donald Trump.
He was fun and exciting, and there was always the press around, and he could be on his plane, and there were pretty girls.
He was a great guy to be around until he took the side of the people who rejected our failed elite.
And it is a failed elite.
And I like to use this example.
You have the generation in the 40s.
They beat Hitler, and they beat the Great Depression.
And in the 60s, they put a man on the moon, and they actually dismantled real systemic racism, which was, of course, imposed and continued by Democrats.
And then our generation, our elite, the people who are always telling us how much better they are than us, Dennis, they gave us Iraq, the Wall Street meltdown, and Grindr.
Grindr.
I mean, really, has anyone...
How do you know what Grindr is?
I have never been around people who lacked so much humility when they had so much reason to be humble.
Good one.
How do you know about Grindr?
Just heard rumors.
Yeah, rumors.
Gotcha.
Okay, that's fair.
But this list is...
I'll tell you, as a Jew who has written a book on anti-Semitism, who taught...
Jewish history at Brooklyn College, and who's fought it in my life.
The idea that he is an anti-Semite, and it was big.
People forget it was a huge charge the first year of his administration.
Oh, absolutely.
And the thing is, you look at these, and they're so manifestly stupid.
That you have to wonder, at the continuing theme in the book, are these people dumb, or do they just think we're super dumb?
I mean, if you want to lay out the evidence, okay, if Donald Trump was an anti-Semite, he would do certain things that would be, you know, bad for Jewish people.
For instance, he would side against Israel, yet Israel's never had a better and more loyal ally.
This is a guy who finally said, against the entire establishment's Admonitions.
No, I said I was going to move the embassy to the capital of Israel, and I'm going to do it.
Not just against the establishment here, against the entire world.
He was warned the Middle East would blow up if he moved the embassy.
Nothing happened.
All it did is raise American stature in the Arab world.
Wow.
They have a guy who does what he says.
You know, I remember when I was in Desert Storm, and I was at what was called Seven Corps Headquarters.
That was the armored force that came down from Germany.
The greatest military force in all of human history were designed to destroy the Russians if they invaded.
And there were about 100,000.
I was at the headquarters.
And there were these dudes walking around with stripped-uniformed.
And they had funny accents.
You didn't know who they were.
And I was convinced they were Israelis.
And they got into Saudi Arabia, because we were in Northern Saudi Arabia.
And, you know, spending time there, I figured, you know, I think the establishment of the normal people of the Middle East would love to have peace with Israel.
They would love it, because then the kids don't get killed, and then their countries can spend money on other things rather than supporting that, you know, supporting an oversized military establishment.
But, you know, like...
So much else, Dennis.
There are people who exploit division and exploit hate to try and gain personal power.
They do it in the Middle East against Israel, and we're seeing it happen right here, right now.
That's correct.
The 21 biggest lies about Donald Trump, Kurt Schlichter, and the book is published by Regnery.
It is another of these excellent books, and it's...
Just the list itself is worth getting the book for.
As I went through it, I realized, oh my God, they do say that.
You know what I've asked from the beginning?
Because they say at the New York Times every day, they say he's a racist.
And the only example, the only one, no, they have two examples.
So I'll let you deal with them.
I've always asked, what is your evidence?
And as you point out in the book, God, have they scoured history.
They couldn't find one use of a racial term in his life.
You would think that someone...
Donald Trump, even before he became president, Dennis, was probably one of the most videotaped and photographed and recorded human beings in all of history.
At least in the top 50. And you would think that if suddenly he was going to channel, say...
Democrat icon Robert Byrd, for instance, who I quote in the book, but I don't want to say the words he said out loud because that would demean me.
But they're stunning in their racial hatred.

I mean, the line is used over and over, but it's well asked.
Who are you going to call when you're in trouble?
of destruction of your property or, you know, an assault, a battery, rape, murder.
You know, who do you call when you witness these things or you are the subject of them?
So, you know, it's silly.
It's stupid.
It's an overreaction.

You know, Arab slavers took more blacks out of Africa to the Middle East and to South America than European slavers took out of Africa to North America or to the colonies.
You know that?
And don't get me started on the death rate.
It is estimated that around 10% or so of the slaves in the transatlantic slave trade died in transit.
It is estimated that as many as 90% of the slaves died in transit going out of Africa.
Walking on foot across the Sahara Desert.
We have to start with the assumption that the slaves that were transported to America would have been slaves in Africa as well because they were already captured in captivity and sold in mass by African chieftains.
In fact, even Ghana recently apologized for their role in the slave trade.
When the individuals said we're better off or things like that, in that old movie, Mr. Elder, The Ten Commandments, an older guy said, man makes slaves.
God makes man.
So, whether the transporting of slaves is wrong, whether it's black, white, whatever gender, it's wrong.
It's evil.
It's probably the evilest thing that has ever existed, is to enslave human beings, no matter where it existed.
Right, and D.C., let's acknowledge it's existed from the time the human beings are on the face of the earth.

Kurt Schlichter has written this book, The 21 Biggest Lies About Donald Trump.
So I want to talk about the racist one where your point is so well taken.
They've scoured and they can't find in a man who doesn't exactly have a major filter between his brain and what he says.
You would think things would have come out, but nothing has come out.
I don't believe the guy has a racist bone in his body.
I don't think he gives a damn if you're black or white.
Or Jew, or Christian, or atheist.
Or gay or straight.
I truly don't think he gives a hoot.
So I always ask, what is the evidence that he's racist?
The same two things come up.
That he said rapists, Mexicans are rapists, and that he said that judge was a Mexican.
You want to address those?
Sure, Dennis.
And they're both kind of ridiculous.
The first, when he came down the escalator in 2015, he said what everybody knew but what you're not allowed to say, which is some illegal aliens are criminals and some of them are very bad criminals.
Some of them are decent people who have broken our laws because coming here illegally is still against the law, even though, you know, they want to pretend it isn't.
But the simple fact is there was this huge outcry among normal Americans, among the people who built this country, feed it, fuel it, defend it, because of the impact of illegal immigration.
And that includes crime.
And you won't find it in the mainstream media, but you will find it in alternative sources, which, thank the Lord, we have.
Guys like Andrew Breitbart pioneered that, and if we didn't have it, I think all would be lost.
But you can find dozens, maybe even hundreds of families who've lost a wife or a mother or a sister or a daughter or a son to an illegal alien, whether driving drunk or committing crimes.
And the American people were crying out for some remedy.
And what did our establishment say?
What did our elite say?
They said, shush.
Just take it.
You're collateral damage.
Don't bring it up.
If you do, you're a bad person.
And Donald Trump doesn't see things that way.
He sees things like the guy down at the bar, kind of common sense, without a lot of the academic-inspired, critical thinking mumbo-jumbo that's designed not to get to the truth, but to simply reinforce the power of our garbage elite.
And what about the judge?
Well, first of all, Mexican isn't a race, but...
You know, I think in that case, the judge had been an activist, as I remember.
He'd been involved with some of the expressly Latino groups, like, I forget the name of the...
Raza, La Raza?
La Raza.
And look, if you're associating yourself with a group that is explicitly, has an agenda that's explicitly based on a race, I think that's fair to point out.
Anyway, it's pretty wheat cheese.
Yeah, as far as racism goes.
By the way, they're allowed, the amazing thing is they're allowed to preoccupy us with the ethnicity of people, but if somebody who's conservative mentions it, that's racist.
Absolutely, but you have to understand, these people are not against racism.
They're simply not against racism to them, and they're not against homophobia or anything else.
These are all tools that they use to get power.
They will turn on a dime when they think it will help them to do so.
One of the themes of the 21 Biggest Lies about Donald Trump and you Is that truth is not an issue with these people.
They're not after the truth.
You can't argue them out.
You can't argue in Marxist.
And to understand that Marxism is bad because the purpose of their ideology is not to impose Marxism per se.
It's to increase their own personal power.
And if some other ideology did it, they grab that too.
So they are immune to argument.
Now, normal people, you can argue.
You can point out, hey, if these people are really concerned about protesting racism, tearing down a Frederick Douglass or an Abe Lincoln statue is probably a bad idea.
And a normal person would go, yeah, that doesn't make a lot of sense.
What else doesn't make sense?
So normal people are susceptible to reason and argument.
The left is not.
Because it doesn't care.
By the way, they just announced that objectivity is a white supremacist notion.
All right, my friend, you did good work as usual.

Well, so I ended last hour with this very, very scary thing.
Really scary.
This article, Why Do So Many White Women Hate Themselves, Stella Morabito, talked about the hysteria of this woman at a New York City Education Council meeting on Zoom.
Screaming at a man who bounced his nephew's friend's son, I believe it is.
A black kid, a little toddler.
He bounced him on his knee, visiting the house.
And she said that it was racist.
And when he asked calmly, why is it racist?
She told him to read some books on racism.
So her hysteria...
It's pretty common now among these women, the woke women as she calls it.
So this is a brilliant analysis.
She speaks about, and I'm repeating what I said at the very end of the last hour because of its significance and then I will go on and then we'll move on.
In other words, go on with what she wrote.
A final question is an unsettling one.
Where does this woke white woman draw the line?
If she can be an arsonist, a provocateur of black police officers, etc., where is the line?
and I'll tell it to you. - Being extraordinary, a bucket list item packing years of memories into 10 exciting days.

So is that part of what you're saying that at its core our founding is inescapably biblical and Judeo-Christian and that the people who talk about the Enlightenment are overstating that case?
It wouldn't have happened without it.
And I do agree with you.
And it's a major portion of this book to demonstrate The truth of what you've said.
One way in which I do that is comparing the French and the American revolutions, because I think the critics of the American Revolution are saying, well, they're basically the same revolution.
And of course, we're seeing that in the streets of America today from the people who think that is true.
However, the French Revolution was premised On the idea of the perfectibility of man here, now, that if we can only put within the power of the state absolute control, man can be perfected.
The American founding was an explicit denial of that.
As you just mentioned, it was a Christian nation that had a profound sense of the imperfectibility of man due to original sin.
And that the only perfectibility available to man was through the grace of Jesus Christ and not through his own powers.
I was going to say, an ordered liberty would be the best we could ever do.

Where does the woke woman, the woke white woman draw the line?
If she can be an arsonist, a provocateur of black police officers, and an easy fit for a mob, then what else would she do?
Would she be a kindred spirit with Charles Dickens' character, Madame Defarge, and support mass executions of her perceived enemies?
If executions turn out to be the woke thing, widely propagandized as the only solution for systemic racism, should we be the least bit surprised if she were?
I agree with her.
I don't think that there is a non-violent end to leftism.
There has never been one.
I don't see why it would be different in the United States.
We just saw it with the riots and the looting and the destruction and officials wherever Democrats were in charge doing nothing.
Why is that not an example?
I'm leaving that for your thinking.
I'm leaving that for your thinking.
Daily Mail, July 12. A New York Police Department police officer ended up in a headlock.
After an attempt to disperse a crowd, On a street corner in the Bronx earlier this month went horribly wrong.
The officers found themselves to be vastly outnumbered and were quickly surrounded by angry bystanders who could be heard taunting and threatening them on camera.
As the police attempted to arrest one of the men to the cheers of the crowd, a second officer found himself powerless as he was placed in a headlock.
A move that is soon to be banned by the city's own police.
F him up!
F him up!
Yells a man who was filming the July 1st encounter as the officer is dragged from one side of the street to the other.
The headlock lasts for around four seconds before the police officer finally falls to the ground.
He suffered a gash to the head that ended up requiring hospital treatment.
The taunting continues after being released from the headlock.
They smoked you, then the expletive.
The man filming is then heard taunting the cops.
You just got smoked, expletive.
The NYPD stated the headlocker was a known gang member.
He turned himself in one week later to the 46th precinct.
The man who has not been named has been arrested 11 times in the past for charges including gang assault, criminal possession of a loaded firearm, and robbery.
Hmm.
Arrested 11 times.
Why was he on the street?
COVID? Too many blacks in prison?
Why was he on the street?
Gets worse.
the suspect was released without charge, pending further investigation.
The NYPD was disappointed that the individual was not charged initially.
The violence against the police officer speaks for itself.
We are now in discussions with the district attorney regarding the case, an NYPD spokesman said.
When there isn't a healthy fear of police, you have inevitable anarchy.
Inevitable.
I speak about this in my Bible commentary.
We are told to fear God and fear our parents.
This strikes moderns so negatively that translations don't even say fear.
They say revere.
Man shall revere his mother and father.
Shall revere God.
No, fear.
I know Biblical Hebrew pretty darn well.
The word is fear, and I can prove it.
Because God says more than anything else to people in the Bible, do not fear.
And he uses the same exact verb.
He doesn't say, do not revere.
That's right.
Authority must have some degree of fear or it's useless.

The Supreme Court has ruled that a New York grand jury can subpoena the President's tax records.
His financial records and tax returns, but blocked a similar request from congressional investigators and sent both decisions back to the lower court.
So as I'm reading through this and as I'm listening to and reading analysis from the court watchers, it appears that what the court is saying is that a president is not immune from criminal prosecution, but in kicking it back to the lower courts, I guess Trump can continue to tie it up in the courts as a partisan investigation by Cy Vance and congressional Democrats continues to try to take him down.
So I guess it's a mixed bag, is the best I can come up with.
And here's the president's reaction on Twitter.
He tweeted moments ago, the Supreme Court sends case back to lower court, arguments to continue.
This is all a political prosecution, he tweeted.
And then he also tweeted, And then he puts in caps,

Dennis Prager here.
Allen in Los Angeles.
Dennis Prager, hello.
Hi, Dennis.
Hi.
I was not listening earlier.
I guess you guys were talking about Hollywood and the backlash happening out here.
The entire first, yes, the entire first hour, and it is a reign of terror against the whites.
Yes, and someone called me to say that someone had called you to mention an acting school and a guy who ran that school who were coming under this hate attack, and I'm that guy.
And so I thought I'd call in just to tell you about what that is or answer any questions about that.
Yeah, good.
Go ahead.
But it's amazing.
I run a school called the Beverly Hills Playhouse, which has been a well-known acting school in town for 40 years or more.
And I've been associated with it for 30 of those years and running it for a dozen.
But it's amazing that the Floyd murder occurred and I was taken to task within a week for not having put something on our Instagram feed, which I have never done.
I've never used our social media for any kind of political statement one way or the other.
Just don't do it.
And all of a sudden I started getting threatening text messages.
And these are from people who I would consider my friends.
That's what's amazing about this, is that the people who are now attacking me, I can tell you, I would look up to the man upstairs and say, these people got my best.
I was on good terms with these people.
And then they start threatening text messages, annihilating me on Instagram, going after me on Facebook.
I got a demand letter worthy of a play, if you need to play Oleana by David Manich, a demand letter.
For all sorts of corporate changes, culture changes, language policing, tone policing, in the classes that we teach, a revising of our reading list, the whole thing.
All from friends.
A lot of these people were my friends.
Going full tilt to take me down, and it's still going on.
They're still going crazy.
Now, I want to make this very clear for my listeners and for me.
You are being attacked and perhaps even closed down because you didn't do something, not because you did.
Correct.
And not only that, I just failed to put a black square up during that Floyd thing.
When everyone was putting up a black square on Instagram, I just didn't do it.
That's all that happened.
And then as this came out and I tried to respond, you know, I actually, in the end, did make a statement, you know, because I didn't have a problem.
I just had to figure out how to say it.
I don't want to support Black Lives Matter, the organization, which I think is a terrible organization.
But I have no problem saying that I believe that, T-H-A-T, Black Lives Matter.
You know, and eventually I did do that on those platforms, just to sort of...
Did that save your skin?
No!
Crazy.
They're still coming after me.
They're coming after you?
Wait, wait.
Specifically for what?
What are they saying?
Well, what's amazing is that whether it's Black Lives Matter, it's now moved into, and I see this as part of this moment that's going on in general, like every grievance that anyone has against anyone else at any time, for some reason this grievance has been liberated so that people are coming after me for the style of teaching.
I see.
So will your school survive?
Well, whether we survive...
These people are not doing damage, I don't think, in any significant way.
You know, I have many supporters, and they've been very kind, and some of them have been brave enough to take these people on.
The pandemic, the lockdown, the business cataclysms that has occurred, that...
Is a business issue, but that was happening anyway.
It's just this is piling on.
And what's amazing to me is how many friendships, how many people who I would have told you, I'm totally cool with that person.
I don't see them all the time, but we're cool.
So you were shocked?
Totally.
This is fascinating to me.
This is truly fascinating to me.
So do you ever say to yourself, What's wrong with me that I didn't read what a scummy human this is?
Uh, yeah, for sure.
Yeah, because some of these people, you know, it was really shocking.
Like, for a couple weeks, it really sent me...
Like, I was depressed.
I'm not a depressed person.
No, of course.
Why do you think...
Okay, so tell me this, because you have an experience I have not had.
I mean, I'm attacked all the time, but I expect it.
It's different.
So, what do you believe animates these people?
Ideology?
They're true believers?
They're cowards who want to go with the flow?
What do you believe animates them?
I think there's been...
It's tough to say because I think a lot of these people might even deny that cancel culture exists or that they're part of it while they are participating in it.
So there's something in there that I believe is irrational.
Some emotional trigger has been hit or pushed or manipulated that they truly believe they are doing something for their good.
Like one of these guys who attacked me who I would have said is a friend and I've done many things for him over a 15-year relationship.
Told a different friend he loves me and he loves the school and he's doing this because he thinks this is what's right for me and the school to change.
They really think I need to change in some way.
Right, so they're really, yes, exactly.
The original sin is my politics.
Well, but you sound like you ran an apolitical school.
Yes, but my politics were no.
And I'm with you on that side.
You know what I mean?
Like, I lean in that direction.
I'm surprised your school survived in Beverly Hills.
No, I'm not joking.
That you would have conservative politics, it was known, and people still patronized your school here in Southern California?
I'm amazed.
I think a lot of people, like on that very famous night, November 2016, you'd be surprised the number of people I was teaching that night who grabbed my arm or...
Yeah, I would be.
Stay in touch with me.

Three to some degree.
And I think the Pentagon, certainly since Mattis came in, was highly focused on readiness, right?
And all the money was going towards recouping some of the readiness that I think is well established.
And they did a good job of establishing that the Obama administration, there was a significant gap in how much money was being allocated to train and maintain our forces.
So the Navy in particular had a significant readiness gap from the amount of times that they were just deploying aircraft carriers vis-a-vis the deployment schedule because they would go out for these 9, 10, 11-month deployments to fill presence requirements overseas, but then would come back and 11-month deployments to fill presence requirements overseas, but then would come back and have short turnarounds, not enough maintenance, and go
That took a heavy toll on the Navy, and they've been working out of that hole ever since, but the Trump administration came in saying, okay, we're going to focus on building the fleet up, but...
But there was a disconnect between what Mattis was focused on and what the president said he was focused on.
And indeed what the president said he was focused on last week when he said we're building...
Yeah, it's as recently as...
...important call.
I need to talk to you about it.
There's a combination here that's particularly dangerous.
There's cowardice, which is the human condition unless you decide to be courageous.
But there's also true believers.
There's a fanaticism.
People who knew this man for 15 years, friends, He was obviously a bright man, the head of this acting school in Beverly Hills, California.
So that friends would now attack him on Facebook and Instagram, etc.
Because he didn't put a black box up.
So let me explain to you a very interesting thing, the difference between authoritarianism and totalitarianism.
Authoritarianism allows you to do whatever you want except for a list of things that you cannot do.
Totalitarianism does not allow you to do anything you want to do except for a list of things it allows you to do.
I hope you understand the difference.
That's the difference between authoritarianism So, for example, an authoritarian leader will say, do whatever you want, but you just can't attack me.
Otherwise, do whatever you want.
Travel wherever you want, but just don't attack me and my authoritarian government.
Totalitarian says you can't do a damn thing unless I tell you you can do it.
The left is totalitarian.
That's the difference.
Except for Hitler and the Ayatollah in Iran, all the totalitarian regimes were leftist.
That is the direction we are moving.
These are totalitarians.
You didn't put up the black box.
Get it?
It's not that you even said anything.
Or the screaming woman.
This was about something he did, but what he did was perfectly human.
He bounced the little black kid who was visiting his house on his knee.
She screamed at how racist it was.
She believed it.
