And it's a very sensitive issue to me because I feel a moral duty to be here every day, but it's absurd.
I have to take some days off.
And I take not many, as you know, but I want you to be in truly interesting and important hands.
So anyway, I heard great things about that.
And I am...
All right, we're good.
I'm going to have, hopefully, Dr. Vladimir Zelenko on.
The president of Brazil has the coronavirus tested positive, and he is taking hydroxychloroquine.
So, the man who is best known for advocating its use, Dr. Zelenko, in New York City.
I'm going to have on as soon as we can make contact with him.
And in the meantime, listen to this story, because there's a true battle.
I mean, the speed with which this attempt to overthrow America has taken place is breathtaking.
Detroit Free Press.
And what happened to that?
That was funny.
I just had it.
Ford employees ask if companies should stop building police vehicles.
An estimated 100 employees of Ford Motor Company have asked the automaker to reconsider building and selling police vehicles.
These are...
These are bad souls.
All right, I have Dr. Vladimir Zelenko on the line.
Dr. Zelenko, do you get any sleep?
I'm sorry, what is sleep?
Okay, that answers that.
That proves, by the way, your ethnicity, answering a question with a question.
I just read that the president of Brazil...
He has tested positive for the coronavirus and is taking hydroxychloroquine.
I have a lot of questions because I know you have been in touch with Brazil and they have been in touch with you.
First of all, I didn't see anywhere in the article that he's taking zinc.
So I'm trying to verify that.
I know Bolsonaro is a fan of mine.
He actually translated one of my YouTube videos.
And went on air in Brazil in April.
And his family has been very closely following my social media.
And I'm dealing with several major institutions in Brazil that have deployed my approach with good results.
So, Bolsonaro is, I know for a fact, taking hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin.
I'm trying to verify it is taking things.
So, I don't want to speak without having that confirmed.
But either way, he's doing really, really well.
He actually took it on air to show the Brazilian public that it's safe.
He's a real character.
I like him, actually.
Well, if he does well, they'll just say, well, most people who test positive do well.
Correct?
Listen, I don't care what they say anymore.
I'd rather speak directly to the American people and tell them, I have some very good news for you, American people and the people of the world.
We have an answer to this terrible infection.
We have a very effective way of treating it.
We have a way that if you treat it properly, you have a 99.3% survival rate in high-risk patients and an 84% reduction in hospitalizations, which have scaled globally.
Is the end of this pandemic.
It's a $20 treatment regimen by mouth.
If you stratify high-risk patients and begin treatment in the first five days with zinc, azithromycin, and hydroxychloroquine, you'll have a 99.3% survival rate in high-risk patients, 100% survival rate in low-risk patients, and an 84% reduction in hospitalization.
What that means is the end of the pandemic.
And that's the good news.
People are not dying.
They're dying from intellectual political leadership.
So we need to scream up and have a nonviolent revolution against the establishment who's creating barriers to access of care, of life-saving medication, because they want to bring down this president and because they want big pharmaceutical companies to make $3,200 a treatment of remdesivir instead of a $20.
Cheap generic drug treatment.
So people are literally dying right now in the world, around 5,000 people a day, because of conflicted interests, political and financial.
It's a crime against humanity.
It's a level of genocide.
Well, I happen to essentially agree with you, and I have been taking hydroxychloroquine just as a prophylactic.
You too.
You too.
Okay, well, you have a better reason.
You're in contact with COVID patients more than I am.
A lot more.
Anyway, it's clearly safe.
I get doctors who call me.
They're very angry.
And one doctor told me that we made a $1,000 bet on the issue, interestingly, and what will come out eventually with all the various tests.
But he raised the issue and said, well, you tell me, Dennis Prager, one other time where zinc treats an illness.
And I couldn't come up with any.
So what would you answer?
Yeah, tell me one time where a bullet without a gun did anything.
You know, you need a delivery system of the zinc into the place where it works.
This person clearly doesn't understand medicine.
Because I'm not saying, and I never said that...
Take zinc and everything will be fine.
What I said is take hydroxychloroquine with zinc and everything will be fine.
The reason why is you need to get the zinc into the cell with the viruses to kill it.
Yes, no, I get that.
But still, his question remains, where else in medicine is zinc a cure to something?
What does it matter where else?
I actually don't know the answer to that, except for the fact I can tell you...
40% of the adult population is zinc deficient, and it causes sensory neuropathies.
It causes loss of smell and taste.
So that's significant.
But the point is, the zinc has antiviral properties.
It stops RNA-dependent RNA polymerase or replicase.
It's the enzyme that makes the virus replicate itself.
And if you block that mechanism, the virus cannot grow, and the immune system will then...
Destroy the weakened enemy.
So whatever his objections are, they're irrational.
So tell me, why in your opinion, and I take their calls, you heard one once when you were on with me, why are so many doctors, I mean, they just don't disagree on this, they are angry at me for advocating it.
Because they're stupid, and also they're on par of, let's say, you have a murderous dictatorship, and it has a military, and that military has given orders to commit crimes against humanity, and people follow orders blindly.
That's on the same level of these types of people.
They're not capable of critical thought.
They're not capable of analysis.
They just follow whatever the murderous governmental bodies that create false illusions, false narrative mandate.
And they're afraid to take the risk to think more about the patient's well-being than themselves.
That's why.
So, do you have any latest tests?
I published a paper.
It's available now on preprints.org.
The process of being peer-reviewed.
This paper is absolutely fundamental.
I know it's on the president's desk.
I know it's on Bibi Netanyahu's desk.
I know Bolsonaro had it.
I know that the president of the Ukraine has it, and most likely Putin has it.
And what the paper shows is if you use what's called the Zelenko Protocol, which I'll say again, risk stratify patients, identify the high-risk patients, treat them within the first five days of symptoms with zinc, azithromycin, and hydroxychloroquine.
And what you get is an 84% reduction in hospitalization and a 99.3% survival rate in high-risk patients.
And all these patients in the study had laboratory-proven COVID-19 diagnoses.
It's a 100% study.
It's the only study that has 100% of the patients studied that had 100% confirmed diagnoses.
This is a statistically significant, rigorous, bulletproof, ironclad study done with the best researchers.
All right.
Where can people see it?
There's a website called thezelenkoprotocol.com.
Alright, my friend, thank you so much.
And please tell Bolsonaro to take zinc.
I will.
Okay.

I just saw the video of your movie, a brand new movie, Uncle Tom.
I just wanted to tell you, I'm as excited and as happy as I could be for you as a person, but thank you for what you do and keep doing it.
Larry, Uncle Tom was amazing.
Simply brilliant.
So fantastic in every way, shape, and form.
Honestly, my favorite part was Herman Cain and Carol Swain, but Herman Cain, so funny, so beautiful.
Made me laugh.
Made me cry.
Great movie.
Great work, Larry.
You're doing amazing things.

Larry, I just got done watching Uncle Tom, and I am so...
Angry and sad that the democratic tool of systemic racism has been so successful in putting up a wall between myself and my African American brothers and sisters in this country.
We are all children of the same God.
We are all brothers and sisters.
Thank you for the work.
It was amazing.
If only Trump could do an executive order.

So the Redskins are going to change.
You and your pals have a suggestion.
We do.
We think, wait for it, the Washington Redskins ought to become the Washington Fighting Admirals.
And that may not leap off the tongue the way the Washington Braves or Washington Warriors or Washington whatevers, but think about it.
Washington is, in fact, a naval town.
You can turn right coming out of Old Town.
All right, everybody.
uh It's a rare time, but I'm not going to take the call again from the same doctor in Cincinnati, so forgive me, doctor.
I don't want to re-debate the issue.
We have a $1,000 bet to the other's favorite medical charity, and we'll keep it like that.
I, at this point, except for the word stupid, I agree with what the doctor said.
It is astonishing to me that something that even might work, And that is incredibly harmless would be opposed by many doctors.
It is astonishing to me.
But I take it back.
Nothing is astonishing to me anymore.
So it is depressing more than it is astonishing.
What harm could it do to you given that it has 50 years of use by people, some of them for 40 years themselves?
With no side effect.
Not every doctor is this true of, but it is true of the elite, the FDA or whoever it might be.
The fact that President Trump touted it is enough for them to oppose something that I believe would cure the illness for all intents and purposes on planet Earth.
So I'm going out on a limb.
Every limb I've gone out on in my 35 years of broadcasting has turned out to be right.
Doesn't mean that I won't be wrong on this.
But I admit I'm going out on a limb, and I have contempt for opposition.
There are some nice people who oppose it.
I'm well aware of that.
I can chew gum and walk at the same time.
And Bolsonaro is...
President of Brazil.
And he is not taking zinc, but apparently even there is zinc that we have anyway in us and through our food.
And so the hydroxychloroquine sort of opens the portals for the zinc to do its work.
I don't know why anybody who...
Tested positive, would not take it in the first five days.
I cannot conceive of a reason why you would not.
Okay?
Anyway, I have not been susceptible to fads, and I'm taking it.
I don't even have it.
And to say that I have not experienced any side effect is like saying I don't experience any side effect from the vitamin C I take.
All right.

An estimated 100 employees of Ford Motor Company have asked the automaker to reconsider building and selling police vehicles.
In light of controversy related to police brutality and social justice.
This is the Detroit Free Press.
The issue has been raised with Ford executives by employees during at least one virtual town hall and a series of letters sent to executives since the May 25th death of George Floyd.
This is quite remarkable.
Ford announced plans to pull its social media spending amid calls for action against misinformation and hate speech.
You understand, misinformation and hate speech, when used by the left, are euphemisms for anything that descends from the left.
All truth and all information, according to those on the left, comes from the left.
Everything else is misinformation and hate speech.
It is not possible to overstate the threat to liberty in the United States at this time.
I will read to you more of the letter at another time.
I have something else to share with you.
Actually, what I'm going to share with you now is There we go.
What I'm going to share with you now has actually confirmed for me, well, not confirmed, actually really opened my eyes to something.
I have studied communism all of my life.
Many of you know that.
I was a fellow at the Columbia University School of International Affairs.
I was at the Russian and Middle East Institutes, two different institutes.
But I specialized in communism.
Communist Affairs, Advanced Seminar with Zbigniew Brzezinski, Mika Brzezinski's late father, who was eventually Jimmy Carter's National Security Advisor.
I always wondered, was communism possible in Russia and China because of pre-existing cultural conditions?
That allowed for such totalitarianism.
For example, the Tsarist tradition in Russia and the Confucian tradition in China.
So were these societies more susceptible to communist totalitarianism?
And I thought that that was a factor.
And a story out of Seattle now, Which, added to all the other stories I bring to you, now has me rethinking that theory.
Leftist totalitarianism is possible anywhere, even in the freest country in world history.
These are our Communists.
I will read to you about people in Seattle who I have no doubt Would have taken part in the Cultural Revolution under Mao.
That America could produce such scum is very scary.
There are bad people in every society, but when you have a movement that shapes vast numbers of people into bad people, you are in danger.
Cult programming in Seattle.

I will read to you more.
These people would have participated in the Cultural Revolution under Mao.
In other words, you don't need a background of the, and I'm not knocking Confucianism, but it has a very strong sense of state-centered power.
And I am knocking the czars.
You don't need czars.
In freedom, you could produce communists.

What Frederick Douglass have to do with George Floyd's death in Minneapolis?
was.
Frederick Douglass was a former slave.
He was a 19th century abolitionist.
He was, by all accounts, a magnificent human being.
Brave.
Bold.
He gave a speech that was So important, called, What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?
That may be his best-known speech.
He gave it in 1852. It was an Independence Day address to the Rochester Anti-Slavery Sewing Society.
And a lot of people have cited his speech, What to the Slave is the Fourth of July.
Independence doesn't mean anything if you're a slave.
Independence doesn't matter if you are owned by a human being.
And so Frederick Douglass is one of the giants of our history.
You know what the peaceful protesters did in Rochester, New York?
All right, everybody. everybody.

City of Seattle's Office of Civil Rights, inviting white city employees to attend training sessions.
At the beginning of the session, he apparently knows about it or attended.
That's the writer at City Journal.
At the beginning of the session, the trainers explain that white people have internalized a sense of racial superiority which has made them unable to access their, quote, humanity and caused harm and violence to people of color.
The trainers claim this is very important.
These are direct quotes.
Individualism, perfectionism, intellectualization, Individualism and objectivity are all vestiges of this internalized racial oppression and must be abandoned in favor of social justice principles.
You understand what I just read to you?
Individualism and objectivity are vestiges of internalized racial oppression.
And must be abandoned.
It's an admission that truth is not a left-wing value.
That's what objectivity is, truth.
The people who do this would have been members of the Communist Party in the Soviet Union and would have happily sent people to the Gulag who did not agree with them.
I have never said this in my life.
And now I am seeing it in my beloved country.
The moral decline because of 50 years or more of leftism is there for you to see.
And just like communism was built on lies, leftism is always built on lies.
The lie here is all whites are racist and America is a racist society.
That's right.
That's how it's possible.
Leftism can never survive on truth.
That's why they're attacking objectivity.
If you think there's an objective truth, you're a white supremacist.
That's what they said in China.
If you believe in objective truth, you're a capitalist...
What was it?
Capitalist toady.
Wow.
It's happening here.
The people in the City of Seattle's Office of Civil Rights are as scary to me as the people who sent people to the Gulag in the Soviet Union.
And if they are not opposed and called out for the evil that they are and are doing, we will lose.
And I predict we will have re-education camps.
In conceptual terms, the city frames the discussion around the idea that black Americans are reducible to the essential quality of blackness.
And white Americans are reducible to the essential quality of whiteness.
That is the new metaphysics of good and evil.
I've said this for 25 years.
They have substituted black and white, rich and poor, weak and strong, for good and evil.
I always knew when I said these things that it didn't register in most people's consciousness.
But since I had a blessed life, I just went on to the next day.
But it was frustrating.
I wrote this 25 years ago.
The left does not divide the world between good and evil, but between black and white, rich and poor, race, gender, class.
That's their trinity.
Once the diversity trainers have established this basic conceptual framework, they encourage white employees to, quote, practice self-talk that affirms their complicity in racism and work on undoing their own whiteness.
That's exactly what was done in the Cultural Revolution.
You work on yourself.
Realize that you're opposition to communism.
It's fascist.
As part of this process, white employees must abandon their white normative behavior and learn to let go of their comfort, physical safety, social status, and relationships with some other white people.

If you do not realize the threat to our society from the anti-racism movement, then you will realize it when you are a victim of it, or a perpetrator.
This is an astonishing thing, what they're telling people in Seattle.
Based on this gigantic lie that all whites are racist.
So we're having racists.
It's an odd thing because these are white racists teaching the course.
I'm a white racist to see if it's like if everybody is X, then X means nothing.
Do you understand?
If everybody is racist, every single white is racist.
Then it has lost its meaning.
Well, of course it's lost its meaning.

Anti-racism will enable our communists.
White employees must abandon their white normative behavior.
What does that mean?

And learn to let go of their comfort, physical safety?
We should let go of our physical safety?

Let go of our physical safety?
Is there anyone listening who doesn't find Seattle's Office of Civil Rights frightening?

The COVID madness, the shutdown madness, and what is happening now is radicalizing in the right direction a lot of people that were on the fence who never really voted for Trump before.
Well, I'll say so politically.
Let's just talk about how Trump can benefit from this politically.
I mean, there's been this whole thing about how suburban women don't support Donald Trump.
We know through past political cycles, suburban women will vote for safety.
I mean, the whole idea that, oh yeah, we have to let people riot and loot and protest, this goes back to a very fundamental maternal instinct.
And there's nothing wrong with this.
Actually, it's wonderful.
They want to protect their nest.
They want to protect what they, and their nest is their children, it's their home, it's their community.
And if you tell them, well, we have to give these people space to go burn down our civilization, you know, they might be really quick to go post the black square on Instagram.
And then a couple days later, when the Panera Bread down the street is on fire.
And Little Johnny's soccer camp is all of a sudden being looted by rioters.
And then all of a sudden the Starbucks that they get their macchiatos at.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it.
I'm just basically saying that this is a pattern of behavior we know to be true.
All of a sudden the windows are smashed there.
Maybe they'll recognize and realize that you need a president that is forcefully on the side of civil society.

The mayor of New York, de Blasio, has announced today that public schools will not fully open in the fall.
They will have a blended schedule.
Students in New York City, there are over a million kids in New York City public schools, incidentally.
They're going to have a maximum of three days in the classroom.
And then engage in remote learning for the remainder of the week.
Tucker's argument, and many people's argument, is that remote learning isn't learning.
Plopping a kid in front of a computer screen is not the same as learning in the classroom.
And of course I agree with that, but it seems to me that reasonable people will agree that opening schools is difficult.
The education commissioner in the state of Florida said, All public schools must reopen to students in person.
It's an emergency order.
Commissioner Richard Corcoran called schools not just the site of academic learning, but also crucial places in students' lives that provide nutrition, socialization, counseling, extracurricular activities.
And the president himself.

Sabina in San Antonio, Texas.
Hi.
Hi.
How are you?
I'm well, thank you.
I can't believe I'm...
Talking to you.
Talking to you and Hugh Ross are two of my favorite people.
I called your screener.
I was sobbing at the time that I called, and I wouldn't want to apologize for that, but I told her I'm from communist East Germany, and we actually fled East Germany, my mother and my grandma and I, in 89, right before the wall fell.
I have been seeing little telltale signs in America for many, many years of communism or communist ideology, and this is scary.
I'm kind of freaking out, so I guess my question to you is, what do you think?
Are we lost?
Is there any coming out of this, or am I being a drama queen?
You're not a drama queen.
If you are, then I'm a drama king.
And I never have been, and I loathe the trait of drama-queenedness.
But one who is not aware of the movement toward communism in this country, of the totalitarian control of people's minds, of the cult-like characteristic of leftism, like communism in East Germany, then one is doing what most people do with evil, and that is denying it.
And so they focus on decent white people as the villains of the country when the left are the villains of the country.
I feel for you to have fled East Germany and then to see the Stasi reinstituted in its nascent phases.
It's not fully obviously there, but soon it'll be.
Tell us in class if your parents made a racist comment.
It already exists.
So listen, I feel for you.
I mean, you had every reason to believe that you were coming to the freest country in the world.
I feel for me.
I had every reason to believe that America would continue to be free.
Although I was warning of this my whole life.
I hope we meet one day, Sabina.
You have a right to cry.
It is worthy of tears what the left is doing to this country.
Yes, indeed.
So let's summarize some of your calls.
Steve in Phoenix, local businesses should fight back against their forced closure.
It'll only work, Steve, if everybody does it.
Every restaurant in Phoenix should open up.
Have distancing, masks with the waiters, and open up.
You can't close every restaurant.
You can't take the license away from every restaurant.
We will be back.

Keep it up.
To make Uncle Tom required viewing in every grade school or high school, especially in inner cities, it would be amazing.
It was beyond great.
It just reconfirmed what I already knew.
There are a lot of people that need to wake up, and we did a great job.

Transcription by CastingWords So the Redskins are going to change.
You can turn right coming out of Old Town Alexandria on the river and be at the Atlantic Ocean in an hour or so, depending on the speed of your boat.
Did you know this, Hugh?
General George Washington...
He originally wanted to be a British naval officer and actually applied for a commission in the British Navy.
Think about how different our history would be if he had become a fighting admiral for the British.
Not a good thing.
Not a good thing.
And third and finally, it's rich with tradition.
And if you go to our website, which we're slapping together, fightingadmirals.com, I purchased the...
The domain name, you can see some cool pictures of a bunch of different fighting admirals going from some of the really early ones to people like Admiral Bill McRaven.
And, you know, I think people are the hardcore sports fan.
You can't get a hardcore Browns or Indians fan than me.
The name doesn't matter, the rings do.
I would love to win a World Series, have the Indians win, or the Blues, or the Lakers, or whatever they come to call in my lifetime.
lifetime.
That's all I would like.

This is the thing.
It's a great mantra.
It's a true mantra.
Black lives do matter.
But when you're talking about an organization, you're talking about the leaders.
You're talking about the people who are responsible for putting these things together.
I got you.
It's a different thing.
Terry, you realize that even during the civil rights movement that Dr. King was seen as extreme.
That movement was seen as extreme to people who don't want to make change.
Movements are seen as extreme.
You can paint them easily as an extreme when they are not.
This is very true.
But also, when you're talking about MLK, you're talking about Nelson Mandela and even Malcolm X, they all realized that you had to have a non-racial component to these kind of movements or there will be resentment.
There will be get back.
There will be one of these people will tend to innocent.
I don't want to move from one oppressor to the next.
I really admire the guts that it must take for an actor like Terry Crews to go on with Don Lemon and say the things you just heard.
He's been getting threats for that.
I mean, it sounds to me, he sounds entirely to me.
I'm a white guy.
Those are two black guys having a conversation.
One who is a far left You know, media voice.
And a guy who I don't know anything about his politics except he's decided that he wants to embrace all people.

Yes, indeed.
Yes, indeed.
It's the happy, happy, happy, happy hour.
Ladies and gentlemen, even in this difficult time, we have, especially in this difficult time, we have the happy hour.
No matter what the time.
These are the original lyrics.
No matter what the time.
Am I in good voice today?
Did I ever sing?
You mean, uh, no.
I never enjoyed singing.
I love conducting.
It's not bizarre in the least.
And I'm having an argument, and you only hear one side, folks.
This is, like, ridiculous.
I have, I know, I don't have a good voice.
I maintain a tune.
I can carry, I can, I'm not tone deaf.
No, I'm not tone deaf, thank God.
Correct.
When I am in the company of people who are tone deaf, I go a little nutty.
All right, everybody.
It's the Happiness Hour, which is consistently broadcast every Friday, the second hour of the Dennis Prager Show.
I'm Dennis Prager.
I try as hard as possible not to take off Fridays because I know that for many of you, the Happiness Hour is a sort of life Raft.
And I get it.
And I feel the responsibility.
So I want to talk to you because I always address the elephant in the room.
Part of the reason that people listen to me.
Because I'm real and I deal with reality.
So the reality is that our country is threatened like it has never been threatened since the Civil War.
By cult-like behavior that I described in the previous hour.
One of its features is the alienation of so many young people from their parents.
Just like cults.
That's what cults do.
They make you disavow your parents.
That's what college fosters.
Your parents are racist.
Your parents are...
God forbid, Republican or Trump supporters, and you are enlightened.
So what do we do in this difficult time to try to be happy?
I have a number of suggestions.
I mean, there are, aside from, obviously I've talked about this and I'll talk about it again, I think it's important to do things that are fun now.
Watching movies, engaging in hobbies, learning things.
I mean, staying busy, distracting your mind for a period of time every day.
That's what a movie does.
Might as well learn an instrument if you're stuck home.
I mean, you can't succumb to the emptiness that is possible with just being grounded for half a year.
This was unbelievable to me.
Nobody would have believed this.
We're in the middle of July.
So I, aside from those recommendations, I want to talk to you about the specifics of the threat to America, to this civilization, to the extent that a serious percentage of this society has contempt for its flag.
A new development as well.
There have always been some.
So I have two recommendations for you that help.
I mean, I have been affected.
I'm not the same happy-go-lucky guy that I was six months ago.
I'm not depressed.
I function fine.
I enjoy my life.
But there's no doubt in my mind.
That it has affected me.
How could it not affect me?
America's the last best hope on earth, as Lincoln put it, and Lincoln statues are being torn down.
So, of course I'm affected.
So, aside from those recommendations that I made on a micro level, here are some other, well, they're both micro and macro, what I recommend to you.
First, what is of huge Help to me, and I think would be to any of you, is to find kindred spirits.
As you know, I announced this from March.
There's virtually no Friday night that I do not have a Sabbath meal with friends.
My house, their house, I have never allowed the...
Fear of COVID to stop me from being with people I love.
The risk of dying from COVID if you are healthy is so minuscule that the price to be paid, I am not with people I want to be with, is absurd.
Just absurd.
That's my view.
Now, if you are in a category of people for whom getting COVID is a serious threat to your life, that's a separate issue.
We've always felt that way.
But the vast majority of you listening, that does not apply to.
So, you should be getting together with people who bring you comfort.
People with whom you can speak openly about what you think about anything.
As you know, I have said on this program all of the 20 years I've been broadcasting Happiness Hour, people should date for friends as seriously as they dated for a spouse.
are critical and it's a good example of preparing for rainy days.
Life should consist of tremendous amount of preparing for rainy days.
Now you realize how important friends are.
Maybe you didn't realize it when things were so good and you know you were just concerned about your profession or even just your family.
Completely understandable to be preoccupied with career and family.
But it's not enough.
You should have been preoccupied with making friends.
You should have been preoccupied with having a religious life.
A great number of synagogues and churches are failing at this time.
They are failing to fight.
For this country and liberty, including religious liberty, they are failing to get together as much as possible, either Zoom or in person.
So that's very sad to report, but it is what it is.
I Zoom with my fellow congregants at a synagogue I founded with friends a number of years ago.
And it is a source of great strength to me and to those who attend it.
Very big source of strength.
You need kindred spirits.
I am in touch with people all over the country, especially because of my love of music with orchestra members.
Some of whom are quite alone, because they have traditional values that have made this country the great country that it truly was made into.
America was never great, is said by stupid people who compare America to utopia, not to other countries.
Next time you hear America is racist, you should ask the question, compared to what country?
They won't know how to answer you.
That's what you do.
You compare countries to countries, not to John Lennon's Imagine.
Anyway, you need kindred spirits.
That's critical.
And to meet with them in person, unless you're very scared.
And if you're very scared, it's not easy to be happy.
It's amazing that a president said in the Depression, the only thing we have to fear is fear itself.
And if you said that today, you'd be called a Trump supporter.
But it was Franklin Roosevelt who said it.
So kindred spirits is a very big deal, and the other is to fight.
Resilient Resignation does not make you happy.
This is the happiness hour, and that's what I'm focusing on.
Resignation, I give up.
Surrender is not only not an option if you care about your children's future, or your own even, but it is not an option vis-a-vis happiness.
1-8 Prager 776. Obama tore this country down.

Nobody.
Because he was black.
You need to wake up.
My parents didn't teach me that I was a victim.
They can turn back voting rights.
Didn't nobody donate to us the right to vote?
You're an else nigga.
I didn't call you a nigga.
Oh, okay.
That's a big difference.

Most black people don't believe that other blacks can be independent, free thinkers.
I believe the legacy and the ancestry of black Americans is being insulted every single day.
I will not pretend to be a victim in this country.
I know that that makes many people on the left uncomfortable.
Racist.
Racism.
A thousand cuts of racism.
The liberal will try to control a black person through the concept of racism because they know that we are very proud, emotional people.
I never felt that because I was black or I was poor or a woman that I couldn't do something.
Racist.
Racist.
I grew up being told of my disadvantages, that this country is unfair to black people.
The ideology is implanted into you subconsciously to believe these things.
It's like a cancerous plague in the mind of black Americans.
We're brainwashed to think, is it because I'm black?
America's not ours, so we got shipped here.
No.
Our blood is on this soil.
We own this too.
There should be a pride that we have in the fact that this country was built by many great black men and women.
Are you trying to say that this country does not specialize in racism and bigotry?
So long as black people continue to have their psyche filled by that nonsense, we won't have an awakening.

In June, we added 2.1 million leisure and hospitality jobs, 740,000 retail jobs, 568,000 education and healthcare jobs, 357,000 service jobs.
These are all historic numbers.
And 356,000 manufacturing jobs.
and manufacturing looks like it's ready to really take off at a level that it's never been before and a lot of that has to do with our trade policy because we're bringing manufacturing back to our country trish uh did anybody expect the results we got today Talk to us about what we have heard just a few moments ago from the president.
Listen, I was glad to see him out there.
He needed to do that victory lap because people need a little good news right now, right, Seb?
Yes.
Almost five million jobs that were added.
This is really incredible.
And you know what it tells you?
The recovery is underway.
We are going to emerge from this.
It's almost like, you know, you think about the Europeans, they like go away for the summer, they shut down for three months, and miraculously, their economy just boom, picks up right where it started.
I mean, we're not right where we started, but we're getting there.

It's a cult.
It has become a cult.
You will leave the people in your life and you will join our cult.
So how do you maintain happiness if you see what's happening to the greatest country that has ever been made?
Not the greatest country that could ever be made.
The greatest country that has ever been made.
And it's being destroyed.
So it's very hard.
So what you do is, number one, you find kindred spirits.
You must physically and zoomily, emailedly get in touch with them.
You need people in your life.
Who are outside the cult.
Number two, you have to fight.
You cannot resign.
This gives you strength.
And it is very purposeful.
Purpose and meaning are very powerful in life.
Until the present time, I never talk politics, if that's what you wish to call it, in the happiness hour.
But I have no choice now.
I truly have no choice, and I'm sorry I have to do it, but I can't act as if something horrible is not happening.
If something horrible is happening, if you're swimming and sharks are coming toward you, I can't tell you stories about Napoleon.
I have to tell you how to avoid being eaten by the shark.
877-243-776-18Prager776 Another thing is not to be scared.
I mean, the number of scared people, it is just mind-boggling to me.
I see people outdoors, not within 40 feet of another human being wearing masks.
I'm not against masks.
I'm against the stupid use of masks.
The fear that people have.
I work out at a gym.
Every single time I use any of the machines with my trainer, she then wipes it off with antiseptic cloth.
And I have to wear gloves.
The transmission from inanimate objects is, I suspect, and I've done a massive amount of reading on this, Minuscule.
But they've got to remain open.
They're under these orders.
People should not assemble for anything de Blasio, the mayor of New York City, just announced, except protests.
It's interesting.
Of course, very depressing.
Wolf Blitzer did not.
It is depressing because I expected more from Wolf over the years.
Comes from a good background.
Why didn't he just ask, well, since you're okay with protests, are you okay with conservative right-wing protests?
Or only left-wing protests?
And let's say only left-wing protests.
There's no question in my mind.
You can't get together for anything in New York City except a left-wing protest.
Anyway, you've got to fight.
It's exciting in the best sense of the word.
I don't need this stuff to be happy.
But meaning is a source of happiness, and fighting these people and fighting for this country is a very meaningful thing to do.
It's tough because you get shut down, you get cursed.
So then you build your shock absorbers.
That's correct.
That's what happens.
Let's go to Carolyn in Loveland, Colorado.
Hello, Carolyn.
Hi, Dennis.
Pleasure to talk to you.
Thank you.
So I told your screener, I'm 67 years old.

So six weeks ago, I started going to a small church that is meeting in person, using common sense, but I found my kindred spirit.
I love it.
I love it.
I'm so happy for you.
And is there a pastor in this congregation, or it's just lay people?
Well, there are several teaching pastors, and they...
Have all focused on the Word of God during this time.
No politics, no fear-mongering.
Focusing on truth.
And you found people there.
Yes!
I found people there.
That's so beautiful.
That's it.
Yes, people need people.
I hate saying that because Barbra Streisand made it famous.
But that's the correct truth.
This is redundant.
Truth is correct by definition.

It was heartwarming to see many of the planet's toughest and best athletes telling their children on social media how much they love them.
In short videos, fathers played games with their kids, bear hugged them, and told them jokes, all in a tribute to dads on Father's Day.
In a society that does little to encourage fathers, the NBA's efforts did not go unnoticed.
Families are the essential building block of society, and fathers are the essential building block of the family.
A home led by a father, especially a father with a spiritual focus and strong character, places flourishing within reach.
Gender-neutral children do not need gender-neutral parents.
Boys and girls need fathers and mothers bound by lifelong commitment.
This isn't a prejudicial belief.
Downplaying fatherhood sets us all up for disaster.
Social media support is great, but we need more.
We need a society that celebrates, honors, and ennobles fathers.

And it's a very bizarre thing to see a man who has been in power since 1969. That's not a typo, folks.
He's the change candidate, Eric.
Yeah, he's the candidate for change.
That's right.
But, I mean, can you imagine that he has been in power?
He has wielded tremendous power as vice president and as senator for literally decades.
But he is now mouthing things that are the antithesis of what he has stood for.
Well, look, I mean, for those of us that love American cinema and literature, he is the ultimate Manchurian candidate, like literally.

I mean, everything he espouses is provided to him by radical leftists that look at this as an opportunity to storm the best deal.

What Frederick Douglass have to do with George Floyd's death in Minneapolis?
They tore the statue down.

That's what I'm doing.
All of my happiness recommendations from when I was in my late 20s and I began speaking about happiness to younger people has been really the result of what I've done in my own life to be happy or happier.
And I figured, and I gambled.
I mean, it wasn't a huge gamble, but it was a risk.
I didn't know what would happen if I offered publicly what I had done privately.
And it worked.
And hence the Happiness Hour, all my lectures on happiness, and my book on it.
Happiness is a Serious Problem.
Alrighty, everybody.
Let's go to Elk Grove, California.
Susan, hello.
Hi, Dennis.
Thanks for taking my call.
I called in today because my dad passed away in April, my 90-year-old dad.
And we've been waiting all this time for sanctions to be lifted so that we could gather and celebrate his life.
And so we've been putting it off, putting it off like tons of other people.
And today, you know, we just came to a conclusion, my siblings and I, that here in California, It's highly likely that it won't get lifted for the rest of the year, maybe even longer, and that we're not going to wait on that any longer.
So instead of looking for a public place to have a memorial for my dad, we're going to look for private property and possibly one within our family that we have as some acreage.
And do our own, irregardless of what the governor says.
That's correct.
That is exactly right.
It's just time to do it.
And I can't tell you, I'm calling during the happiness hour because I can't tell you how that's lifted by spirits.
I'm just shocked.
I'm just so happy we just finally decided to do it.
It's lifted your spirits.
I'm happy for you too.
It's lifted your spirits.
Because being a peon, obeying a fool, is very depressing.
It is.
And you finally have said, forgive me for the language, screw you, to this authoritarian fool who runs California.
And we should all say that.
I wish every business opened up.
You don't want to go to work?
Don't go to work.
Every business should open up.
Every restaurant should open up.
You can't close down every restaurant in California.
But unfortunately, they have the power and the media.
So I don't know how it would work.
If a thousand restaurants opened up, would they all lose their licenses?
And if so, could we then just get rid of the licensing bureau and make another one?
I don't know.
People of California are sheep.
Why they vote Democrat.
And so I don't know what would happen.
But I do know that fighting, being, you see, the bigger the government, the smaller the citizen, right?
One of my mottos in life.
There's not much happiness in being a small citizen.
And you may not even realize the effect that it has on you to be a peon, a serf.
But once you get rid of the shackles, there is a great liberation.
And as she said, and her father has earned this memorial service.
We'll be back.

Larry Elder, Rick in Metairie, Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans.
I just saw the video of your movie, brand new movie, Uncle Tom.
Keep it up.
To make Uncle Tom required viewing in every grade school or high school, especially in inner cities, it would be amazing.
It was beyond great.
It just reconfirmed what I already knew.
There are a lot of people that need to wake up, and you did a great job.

The Venus Hour theme is happiness in the dark time and COVID is not the bigger issue.
The cult.
That we are seeing governing our society is the bigger issue.
The left-wing cult.
What I read to you last hour is so momentous that I cannot overstate it.
So how do you stay happy as you watch the wreckage around?
And I believe kindred spirits not resigning and fighting back are three huge Helps aids in the happiness issue.
In that regard, I'll tell you a good example of a guy who fights Larry Elder and Uncle Tom, the movie that he's made at UncleTom.com.
See, that's a good example of fighting and at the same time learning a phenomenal amount.
You think you got it difficult?
Imagine being a black conservative.
I was with Brandon Tatum yesterday.
He will be on my next Fireside Chat.
What a remarkable, great guy.
He's a perfect example of my riddle.
What do you call a happy black American?
A Republican?
That's a perfect example.
He radiated a joy of life.
And he's, you know, of course, attacked tremendously.
You will find strength in you once you start fighting that you didn't realize you had before.
But it is not happy to give in to suppression.
It's a happiness hour, so I'm talking about it from that standpoint.
The standpoint of happiness.
Alrighty, everybody.
Lisa in Valparaiso, Indiana.
Hello, Lisa.
Hi, how are you?
I'm okay, thank you.
I am a public school teacher in Valparaiso, and I'm a conservative, and I live about an hour south of Chicago.
So, as you can imagine, there are lots of people that have voted Democrat in this area.
And, you know, I've been good since we've been home since March, listening and feeling strong in my beliefs and, you know, being able to say what I want to say on social media, things like that.
However, we're going to go back to school, which I'm glad about.
I think it's time in August, but I guess my thing is I know I'm going to be surrounded with a bunch of negativity, And I know that I'm going to be surrounded with a bunch of hysteria about this whole situation, you know, the COVID situation and all that.
And I guess I'm wondering, through your happiness hour, how would you deal with that when you know it's a good thing?
And it's like, you know, even my principal, I mean, everybody, you know, very anti-conservative.
So I guess I'm wondering, how does a conservative...
Who's surrounded by non-conservatives deal with that.
I have to say, a conservative teacher may have it harder than a conservative black.
So I really have sympathy for you.
I'm on the spectrum in that I'm a conservative Jew, but there are more conservative Jews than there are conservative blacks proportionally, and more conservative blacks than there are conservative teachers.
So I'm only saying this so you'll understand.
I feel for you.
By the way, to be conservative is simply to believe in liberty and objectivity, that there's such a thing as truth, because as Seattle pointed out, objectivity is a white supremacist idea.
So my first question is, do you know of any other teacher in your school who shares your values?
I just right in March right before we left because of the whole COVID thing I actually found out there were two teachers who never spoke of it before who said some things in passing to me and I kind of looked at them because I knew they had seen my Facebook post but they never comment on them so quite frankly I thought that they were Probably liberal,
but come to find out both of them are very conservative.
It sounds like, but they just don't say anything, you know, because that's kind of the thing up here.
If you're conservative, you don't say anything.
Right, so that's the issue.
Do your fellow teachers suspect that you're not a leftist?
Oh, they know I'm not, because, I mean, anybody who's friends with me on Facebook knows.
And so how is it on a daily basis at school?
Let me put it this way.
I feel like I'm on an island of my own because I think a lot of people who have different feelings just kind of, they tend to be friends.
And I'm new to this school.
I had been at the other school for about 15 years.
And then they downsized, so a lot of us went over to this other school.
Where they had upsized.
And so not only was I knew and didn't know a lot of people just, you know, for that reason, but then once they friended you on Facebook and they realized that you're conservative, now, you know, they really, I don't think they feel like they have anything in common with you, so they don't.
So, right.
So when you go to work, do you feel ostracized when you go to work?
All right.
No, no, no.
The fact that you're in doubt is a good sign.
I don't want you to feel ostracized.
I'm not rooting for that.
I just wanted to know.
No, no, no, no, no.
All right.
So look, so then if you could stay your cheerful self and be honest to your principles and then attract others who might just privately even email you, you know, I'm on your side, then you will have one of the three things I'm advocating.
For greater happiness now, and that's kindred spirits.
That's true.
Okay, good.
Gotta leave it at that.
What has happened to the teaching profession is easy to explain, because everything the left touches it ruins.
Teaching was once a noble cause.
The pursuit of truth, the building of character, the uniting the students as Americans.
None of them are present now.
Let's talk for a second about Joe Biden.
He has been forced to take on the rhetoric Of AOC and the crazies.
And it's a very bizarre thing to see a man who has been in power since 1969. That's not a title.
He's the change candidate, Eric.
Yeah, he's the candidate for change.
That's right.
But I mean, can you imagine that he has been in power?
He has wielded tremendous power as vice president and as senator for literally decades.
But he is now mouthing things that are the antithesis of what he has stood for.
Well, look, I mean, for those of us that love American cinema and literature, he is the ultimate Manchurian candidate, like literally.
I mean, he is a shell of an individual.
I mean, everything he espouses is provided to him by radical leftists that look at this as an opportunity to storm the Bastille.
Biden is the most corrupt vice president in American history.
Distinguish his wife from his sister, doesn't know what state he's in, doesn't know what president he served with, doesn't even know what country he sold us out to so his son could get rich.
He's the perfect candidate for ideologues to take over our country.

What Frederick Douglass have to do with George Floyd's death in Minneapolis?
They tore the statue down over the weekend.
That's how they celebrated the 4th of July.
They ripped it from its base.
According to pictures, the statue's base...

So I was an actress and a filmmaker in Hollywood for many years.
I never spoke up to the leftist fools who I worked around and who I worked for.
And I would toss and turn at night.
I always had a lot of anxiety and I always felt very inauthentic.
And three years ago, I started creating conservative content.
You know, came out of the closet politically.
And I was largely inspired by PragerU and Candace Owens, Larry Elder, and also Brandon Tatum, who has now become a friend of mine.

I have an Instagram and a Twitter.
I do have a website, but most of the work I just post on social media and YouTube.
I go by the handle Fog City Midge.

Fog City, like San Francisco, because it's foggy.
Oh, Fog City.

Okay.

Okay.
Yeah.
Well, good.
It's been life-changing.

Richard Nixon took on the media and had his vice president say a bunch of nasty things about the media.
And the media disliked Richard Nixon intensely.
But Richard Nixon was not able to convince large portions of the country of the fact, of the truth, and that is, much of the media is relentlessly, intensely biased.
By about a 5-1, 4-1 margin, reporters refer to themselves as Democrats or left-wing, self-admitted.
You have the two arguably greatest, most important newspapers, and now websites, Washington Post, New York Times.
And as I mentioned, Washington Post has never endorsed a Republican president, ever!
Ever!
New York Times, not since 1956. Not since 1956. Republicans have not advanced a single candidate that you felt was worthy of backing.
Not Ronald Reagan?
Not George Herbert Walker Bush?

Former congressman from Texas?

There's a good reason for that, right?
Well, yeah, look, the Democrats are the party of racism.
The KKK was founded by the Democrat Party.
The Democrat Party worked overtime to try to keep in place Jim Crow after they tried to keep in place slavery, after they tried to stop the progress of the civil rights movement, the actual civil rights movement from the 20th century.
The Democrat Party's history is littered with leaders.
So I know we talked about this last time.
The four speakers whose portraits that Nancy Pelosi was taking down, they were all Democrats.
All those Confederates.
All four speakers were Democrats.
The Democrat Party has a history of racism, of bigotry, of, again, creating the Ku Klux Klan.
It was created by Democrats, of pushing to try to keep Keep in place Jim Crow.
And fighting the Civil Rights Act.
And fighting it.
Right.
The Democrat Party is littered with bad history.
It's the Republican Party that was the champion of women's and civil rights.
And it's important to note that.
Look, Abraham Lincoln was the first Republican president.
Abraham Lincoln, who freed the slaves, the Emancipation Proclamation, held the union together during the Civil War, was a Republican.
He was the first Republican.
And it's worth noting that the Democrats...
I think that as they're doing all this chaos and trying to tear down statues in history and so on and so forth and rewrite history, they're trying to erase their own history.
And they don't want...
I mean, God forbid the public found out that the Democrat Party caused the KKK. This is Owen Strand for townhall.com.

We need a society that celebrates, honors, and ennobles fathers.

He gave a speech that was What
happened to Let Dennis Be Dennis?
It doesn't sound right without that.
Enjoy the music, everybody.
All right, y'all.
Dennis Prager here.
This is the hour.
You set the agenda.
Whatever is on your mind.
You always used to say about life and about death.
About you, about me.
How do you like that?
Death is on people's minds.
It should be, by the way.
Shouldn't be preoccupied with it.
I always thought about it when I was a kid.
I wrote an essay on the afterlife in high school.
I realized very early on that I'm not going to live forever, and it's very hard to believe that when you're in high school.
You do think somehow you'll live forever.
But I knew intellectually we all don't, and that there's an absurdity to life if there's no afterlife.
Here for this tiny instant in time in the universe's history, and that's it.
Hard to believe.
It's possible.
It's hard to believe.
It does render life a bit of a joke.
And given the amount of suffering people have had, I was preoccupied with the afterlife.
Still am.
All right, everybody.
Dennis Prager here.
And this is the hour.
Don't be offended.
This is the hour you called it on anything.
Don't be offended if I drop your call.
It's not personal.
It does no reflection on the intelligence of the call.
It may just be something I've covered a lot or something I don't know anything about.
You know, if you're calling it about gardening.
Actually, I might take a gardening call because it would be fun to have me bluff my way through it.
Let Dennis be Dennis.
Nah, that's too late.
And clap from the moment.
That's better.
That's better.
Hit your head.
Head your head and hit your head on a water on a windmill.
All right, everybody.
Oh, yes, I forgot to say, of course.
Hey, I've added a new thing.
Believe it or not, you'll never guess.
So fountain pens, audio equipment, photography equipment, cigars, I've added a fifth.
In the last few months, out of nowhere, I've gotten interested in watches.
Now, it's an interesting thing, watches.
A lot of people don't even wear a watch now because they look at their phone for the time, which is funny because that's really a throwback to a century ago.
When people are two centuries and three centuries, they would take a pocket watch.
That's where the watches were.
Where isn't the wristwatch?
So we've gone back in time.
What time is it?
Oh, let me take it out of my pocket.
You know, is that a phone in your pocket or you're just happy to see me?
That's what...
It's a famous line.
Let Dennis be Dennis.
Yes, it's true.
Do you know, that's what my parents were told by the school psychologist in eighth grade when I was at my nadir.
They said, let Dennis be Dennis.
That is, that is, what about my father?
My father had a gold watch and I don't remember which my brother or one of the grandchildren got it.
I took, when my wonderful dad died, I took his cigars.
I took his last cigars.
Because I associate them much more with them than I do the watch.
Anyway, I've gotten into it.
And the more that brings you fun, I guess, the better.
I've always said that on the Happiness Hour.
All right, everybody.
San Diego, California.
Mike.
Hello, Mike.
Hi, Dennis.
Hi.
A question for you.
I'm trying to clarify a dilemma.
And that is...
Do I fly across country to visit my mom on her birthday, given all the potential exposure I'll encounter on the way getting there with airports and airplanes and what have you?
And I'm not worried about the virus myself.
I'm 54 and healthy, but she'll be turning 80. And I wanted to hear your thoughts on that.
Is she otherwise healthy?
She's in good health.
Yeah, she's very active.
Once you get the cold, it lasts like two weeks, but her health is good.
Well, a lot of people have a cold for two weeks.
But as I have seen it, and I've read immense amounts about this, age is a factor, but an underlying condition is a bigger factor than age.
So that's number one.
Number two, I would ask her what she wants.
If I were in your shoes with that mother, I would say, Ma, what would you like me to do?
There is some risk that I will contract something on the plane or at the airport, etc.
I personally think it's a minimal risk.
I, dentists, think it, but I was saying that I would say this to my mother.
But Ma, the last thing I want to do is frighten you.
What would you like me to do?
I think that's exactly what I'll do.
Good.
I like that.
If I could give advice that works, then there's no guilt.
She has weighed all the issues.
I mean, I'm not 90, obviously, but the...
Or did she say 80?
I'm not 80 either.
But I... If my kids said, you know, should I visit?
I mean, I don't care.
They could be in, you know, Yankee Stadium and then come and visit me.
There's no question in my mind.
Alrighty, everybody.
Katie in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Hello.
Hi, this is Katie.
Hi, Katie.
You're in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Katie?
I am, yes.
May I ask you a question that's absolutely not related to what you're calling in about?
Of course.
Which side of the political spectrum are you on?
I am on the right side of the political spectrum.
Okay, so that only I ask because it leads to my next question.
Are you somewhat lonely in Cambridge, Massachusetts?
Yes.
My husband and I do some hiding out here, but it's a weird place here, definitely.
Yes.
Looney Tunes.
Looney Tunes.
That's a good one.
That is exactly correct.
It's Looney Tunes.
And it would be laughable if it weren't so dangerous.
Unfortunately, yes, absolutely.
Why do you live in Cambridge?
You have no choice?
We moved here originally from my husband's job and then kind of settled in a little bit.
We're both in the sciences.
So sciences are, you know, there's lots of biotech universities out here.
Right, I see.
All right, what's your topic?
So my question dovetails off of a conversation you had earlier this week regarding giving advice people received on whether or not they should marry their partner.
Yeah.
So I was wondering what kind of factors or considerations you think should be made in deciding whether or not to talk to your loved one regarding their decision to marry.
You know, like how do you decide if you should talk to them or if it's appropriate?
Well, what is the relationship of the loved one and what is it you would like to say?
So, I told the screener, like my specific example is my brother-in-law, but it wouldn't be me talking, it would be my husband, so his brother.
Wait, just define for me your brother-in-law, your sister's husband?
My husband's brother.
I'm sorry, your husband's?
Brother.
Oh, okay, your husband's brother.
Oh, so I thought, what did I think?
Okay, fair enough, doesn't matter.
Your husband's brother.
Go ahead.
And what is the issue?
Well, you know, they've been dating for a few years now, and so the question is, you know, if he, I guess, decides whether or not it's appropriate to talk to him, because he wants to marry her, but we don't think that she's the right girl for him.
Oh, wow.
Okay.
Oh, that's a toughie.
Yeah.
You know, because he's like, yeah, he's 35, you know, and he can make his own decisions.
Right.
But you're, now, Your husband and you are both opposed to this woman?
Right, and my in-laws, so the parents too.
And what is the reason?
So my brother-in-law, he's a really intelligent guy, funny, really outgoing, and whenever we are with her...
She doesn't add anything at all, like over a two-hour conversation.
All right, hold on.
I want to know what he sees in her.

We do.
We think, wait for it, the Washington Redskins ought to become the Washington Fighting Admirals.
And that may not leap off the tongue the way the Washington Braves or Washington Warriors or Washington Whatevers.
But think about it.
Washington is, in fact, a naval town.
You can turn right coming out of Old Town Alexandria on the river.
Be it the Atlantic Ocean in an hour or so, depending on the speed of your boat.
Did you know this, Hugh?
General George Washington originally wanted to be a British naval officer and actually applied for commission in the British Navy.
Think about how different our history would be if he had become a fighting admiral for the British.
Not a good thing.
Not a good thing.
And third and finally, it's rich with tradition.
Our website, which we're slapping together, fightingadmirals.com.
I purchased the domain name.
You can see some cool pictures of a bunch of different fighting admirals going from some of the really early ones to people like Admiral Bill McRaven.
And, you know, I think people are the hardcore sports fan.
And you can't get a hardcore Browns or Indians fan than me.
The name doesn't matter, the rings do.
I would love to win a World Series, have the Indians win, or the Blues, or the Lakers, or whatever they come to call in my lifetime.
That's all I would like.

Black lives do matter.
But when you're talking about an organization, you're talking about the leaders.
You're talking about the people who are responsible for putting these things together.
Okay, I got you.
I got you.
I got you.
It's a different thing.
Sherry, you realize that even during the civil rights movement that Dr. King was seen as extreme.
That movement was seen as extreme to people who don't want to make change.
Movements are seen as extreme.
You can paint them easily as an extreme when they are not.
This is very true, but also when you're talking about MLK, you're talking about Nelson Mandela and even Malcolm X, they all realized that you had to have a non-racial component to these kind of movements or there will be resentment.
There will be get-back.
One of these people will tend to innocent.
I don't want to move from one oppressor to the next.
I really admire the guts that it must take for an actor like Terry Crews to go on with Don Lemon and say the things you just heard.
He's been getting threats for that.
I mean, he sounds entirely to me.

where was I? Is she gone?
No, she's not.
Here we go.
Good.
Katie in Cambridge.
Hello.
So this is a follow-through from my male-female hour, for those of you just tuning in or not aware of why this is being raised.
Should you tell your 35-year-old brother-in-law, your husband's brother, about your reservations, and not only yours, but your brother's family, correct?
Correct.
Now, it's that she's somewhat of a, like, not a particularly enjoyable presence, or is she actually actively negative?
She's not actively negative.
She just is boring and quiet beyond belief.
Okay.
So she doesn't add anything at all.
Right.
Well, So what does he love about her?
I don't know.
Maybe he likes that.
Maybe he likes the cognizant.
Yes, that's right.
I don't know.
Do you have any reason to think she's not kind to him?
No.
Alright, so this is a tough one.
You know, quiet people open up in the course of time.
How long is he dating her?
There's another issue that's not as...
She has very serious immigration issues as well.
I don't know if that should be considered in the analysis also.
Where is she trying to immigrate from?
Thailand.
She's been here for a number of years already.
Right, I see.
Well, that might be a factor.
Is her English excellent?
No.
Exactly.
I mean, I'm sure that that's a factor.
I actually, yeah.
You see, it doesn't sound toxic enough to have some big meeting.
I think it's worth your brother, if they're close enough, just saying, you know, she's so quiet whenever we get together.
Do you have any thoughts on that?
I don't think an intervention would be called for here.
Okay, yeah.
That makes sense.
Okay.
All right.
Good.
Thank you so much and enjoy Cambridge.
That was dark humor.
Okay.
All righty, everybody.
1-8 Prager 776. Would I travel to the International Space Station and do a show there if I could?
That is an amazing question.
I always think I thought of almost everything, but I never thought of that.
Actually, I would like to go up in space, but I wouldn't do it because it's too risky.
So you see, whereas I spoke at a rally months ago in Los Angeles to open up the city and hugged about 40 strangers, that's a risk I would take.
But going up into space is not what I would take.
Among other things, I think it's riskier.
But the other is, the benefit is not worth it.
The benefit is a selfish one.
I would love to see Earth from space.
But fighting the tyranny in the name of health that I have experienced, that is worth taking some risk for.
All right, so Terry, I answered you.
Let's see.
Martin in Atlanta, Georgia, hello.
Yes, Dennis.
I really can't confirm it, but I think I may have the COVID-19.
I have taken vitamin C and zinc for numerous years and always noticed that it doesn't always keep me from getting sick, but once I start feeling sick and increasing the dosage, it helps fight off whatever infection I have.
Right.
Zinc apparently is a tremendously valuable thing.
Everybody should be taking it, and it must be taken with hydroxychloroquine.
Hydroxychloroquine alone is not nearly as effective as with zinc.
Yeah, I normally take 500 milligrams of vitamin C and 50 milligrams of zinc a day, but when I start getting sick, especially now, I've had this since Sunday evening, I take it three times a day.
And another thing that I've been taking the last few months that helped me get rid of a science infection was a tablespoon of honey and a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon.
And I've been taking that three times a day as well, along with the decongestion.
I mean, I still have symptoms.
Right, I hear you.
Okay.
Let me just say, I am a big fan of supplements.
I have been for almost all of my life.
At the worst, I'm wasting money.
At the best, I'm helping myself.
So, fine.
I recognize that.
I have a relative who's a prominent doctor and who's not a fan of supplements and said that he thinks that with me it has a placebo effect, to which I respond, terrific.
What do I care?
If I get sick so little, and you are all witnesses to the fact that I get sick so little, because the only time I've missed shows because of anything physical has been for surgery, which has nothing to do with getting sick.
It's just, you know, there's nothing I can do about my discs.
Anyway, they've all worked.
I'm an amazingly lucky guy that every one of my back surgeries has been.
100% successful.
Including one which was seven hours.
So I'm fine.
I do believe in the supplements.
Yes.
And I'll tell you one that you should read about.
And if you're not taking, you're making a mistake.
It's vitamin D. Alrighty, everybody.
Let's go to Matthew in San Clemente, California.
Hello.
Hello, yes, and I was wondering if you believe in Jewish privilege and whether or not you thought Jewish privilege was greater than basically just white privilege.
If Jewish privilege means that growing up in a Jewish family, I had a lot of built-in benefits like stress on education, a strong family unit, Religious holidays, in the case of a religious Jewish family, most Jews are not religious.
But yes, there's no question that trumps white privilege.
I totally agree.
Yes, oh yes.
Do you think it's also genetic?
I think that there is a genetic element to IQ, but I think IQ is wildly overrated.
I don't even know my own IQ. I don't know my children's IQ. I don't give a damn.
The number of Jews who have been infected by leftist idiocy proves that IQ is not important.

Hello, my friends.
I'm Dennis Prager.
Whatever's on your mind, as you see, we do really, uh, we do run the gamut.
Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Greg, hello.
Hello, Mr. Prager.
Thank you for taking my call.
It's an honor to speak with you, sir, as always.
Thank you.
I just wanted to ask, I'll try to be as concise as possible.
I've been a police officer for 16 years.
I've spoken to you a few times now.
And my parents, they fled the Soviet Union, and I was born in Canada.
I was always grateful to this country and to the West for the opportunities, and I wanted to serve my country.
I served overseas twice, peacekeeping in Afghanistan and Ukraine, and I've dedicated my life to service, and I'm having a very tough time right now.
I lead about 22 officers on the job, and we're all very fearful every day we come into work now.
I've never been this bad.
We're fearful that either we're going to lose our lives or that a 10-second clip...
We'll label us a racist and our lives will be ruined another way and probably another terrible fashion.
And I'm struggling with my own family that they don't support me publicly.
They support Black Lives Matter for the most part.
And when I try to communicate to them the ideologies that they hold and the life experience that I have dealing with that organization, they tell me that we'll just have to...
I agree to disagree, and I find myself feeling very distant from them and very hurt by that lack of support because they know who I am.
They know the character that I have and my colleagues have, and I'm just asking and reaching out to you.
Are you married?
I'm not.
I have a girlfriend, and her family and her are extremely supportive of me, and they're kind of like my lifeline, actually, than you, sir.
Well, thank you.
I'm glad to be that.
Is she marriageable material, to put it bluntly?
She's divorced, has a 10-year-old child.
We're both strong Christians.
My father is Jewish, but at this time...
What prevents you from getting married?
Oh, she's afraid of getting married?
She's afraid.
I'm open to it.
Why is she afraid?
Because of her past experience.
Well, since you listen so avidly, You might know my response to that.
Driving.
Yes.
Driving, right?
Have you asked her that?
Not yet, sir.
We've only been together for about four months.
It's been extremely...
She's been, again, a lifeline to me, but I'm finding it very difficult to actually be close to my family now.
I find myself withdrawing, and I wear my heart on my sleeve.
Well, but don't.
See, this is interesting.
I... I was blessed by God or nature with shock absorbers.
These things, one of the things that I have always known is the unimportance of blood.
And so that has protected me from any hurts that would be within family life.
I'm not saying I have wonderful, many wonderful, obviously, family members.
I want to make that clear.
But I've had that as well.
But I was prepared for it because I knew that blood doesn't mean a damn thing.
Everything is values.
And, you know, if you've seen my fireside chats, I did one on blood just a couple of weeks ago.
And I think it's an eye-opener, especially to young people, that values are so much more important than blood.
So just, yes, you could withdraw.
What you should do now is just be, I don't want you ever to sever relations with family, obviously.
Now what, in my opinion, for what it's worth, and apparently it's worth a lot to you, so I say this with some humility, but I would not raise these issues.
I would be aware I am not that close to them as I would like to be.
C'est la vie, as you folks would say in Canada.
And then I find kindred spirits, which was the theme of my happiness hour, outside of my family.
And it's unbelievably helpful.
And I hope you get married.
And that'll really answer the problem.
Just imagine, this should make your day.
Imagine if you were married to somebody who had contempt for your views.
Thank you, sir.
My pleasure.
Thank you.
I hope we meet one day.

A thesis, a hypothesis, a synthesis, and an antithesis.
I have a product.
I was talking about how much I believe in supplements.
Yeah, there you go.
It had nothing to do with Relief Factor, but Relief Factor is a supplement that is, in fact, Combator of pain.
It's so effective, most of the people, 70% of the people who try it out then go on to pay full price.

Pain stinks.

- I grew up being told of my disadvantages, that this country is unfair to black people.

It's about jobs, jobs, jobs as well.
And we're going to discuss the latest news with our new regular guest, Trish Reagan.
Let's play the video from just a few hours ago from the President of the United States, Eric Playvideo.
In June, we added 2.1 million leisure and hospitality jobs.
740,000 retail jobs.
568,000 education and healthcare jobs.
357,000 service jobs.
These are all historic numbers.
And 356,000 manufacturing jobs.
And manufacturing looks like it's ready to really take off at a level that it's never been before.
And a lot of that has to do with our trade policy because we're bringing manufacturing back to our country.
Trish, did anybody expect the results we got today?
Talk to us about what we...

The fear.
Flattenthefear.com.
It is where scientists and others explain why we should not have the lockdown as we have.
It's a very important website.
Flattenthefear.com.
It's not a fundraising issue.
It's free.
But these are things that you have to visit, A, for your own peace of mind or increased peace of mind.
And B, because we have to be supportive of the people who are doing these good things.
Yes.
See, folks, the whole time, very little has been asked in the media, what is the price paid for the lockdown?
So we always get these headlines, which I always read to you.
Coronavirus or COVID-19 or the pandemic's effects where people are starving around the world.
It's not.
It's the effects of the lockdown, not of the pandemic.
I just checked.
I checked almost every day on Sweden.
Sweden did not do the lockdown.
I read to you yesterday some of the responses to the anti-Sweden article.
The New York Times no longer makes a division between opinion and news.
So it was an attack on Sweden on the front page for it's not having a lockdown.
And people who live in Sweden or lived in Sweden, Americans in Sweden, Americans married to a Swede, just wrote in.
And I read to you their responses.
Anyway, do look it up.
Sweden had zero deaths from the virus yesterday.
Did not lock down.
Of course, they have had a higher rate than Denmark and Norway, to which they are always compared, and Finland.
They had a much lower rate than Belgium and Spain and the UK. So, statistics are what they are.
Anyway, the notion that The only criterion for whether you lock down the economy is the number of deaths.
Well, it is the only criterion.
I agree with that.
But they have closed it down no matter what the number.
1969, we lost 100,000 Americans.
That would be 150,000 or so in our numbers today.
They didn't close down anything.
It was a much less fearful time.
All right, let's go to more of your calls here.
And Howard in Washington, D.C. Hello.
Oh, hi, Dennis.
Thank you for your great work and Alan's great work.
I live in Washington, D.C., Dennis, and I just want to say something about Prager University.
It's as clear as day now, Dennis.
You know it.
What you've been talking about for years now, I don't think this is hysterical.
The radical left is coming for the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial down from where I live, and they're coming for what they symbolize, American values.
And it kind of angers me because we support this.
We write checks of tens of thousands of dollars to these colleges every year, and we write thousands of dollars of taxes.
to these public schools.
And to me, that's why Prager University is so vital, just like President Trump is so vital.
They're probably the best ways to fight this.
If I walk into Starbucks or Whole Foods in Washington, D.C., Dennis and Allen, a third of the kids maybe, maybe it's 25%, they know Prager University.
I mean, it blows my mind.
You're sitting in Washington, D.C., in a Starbucks in a leftist city, and these kids know Prager University.
And that's why, instead of handing our sons or daughters over to fight some horrible, violent civil war which may occur, we need to get out our MasterCard or our Visa card and support people like you and Alan with this.
Well, thank you, God.
God bless you.
I just want everybody to know I had no idea you were going to talk about PragerU.
It says here you're going to talk about capital punishment.
Could I say something about capital punishment?
Yes, you can.
I just want to say I'm very grateful, but I want everybody to know I did not take the call knowing you would say that.
But now that you mentioned it, I just want people to know that we have a billion views a year, which is remarkable and unique, but unique for anything on our side of the spectrum.
But it's 25% more in the last few months than ever before.
So we are even going beyond a billion.
Because there's an awareness of how serious PragerU is, how factual, and how destructive of the terrible ideas that have taken hold in our society.
Okay, so go to capital punishment.
He fought successfully to get rid of capital punishment.
I saw him at a store, and I told him what you said about it being in all five books of the Bible, the Torah.
You say that many, many times.
He was totally unimpressed.
He's a Jewish guy.
He looked at me as if I was speaking Swahili.
Had you said it was in the Koran, you would have been more impressed.
Right, but I also have said this to my rabbi, and he's not impressed either.
That's correct.
What denomination is your rabbi?
Well, it's called conservative, as that now means.
Well, conservative and reform are interchangeable now.
But I'm not bringing this up, sir, because I know you've got a lot of listeners that are not Jewish.
No, no, no, it doesn't matter.
This is universal.
Look, telling a non-orthodox rabbi that something is in the Torah...
In most cases, in some cases, it's not true.
It means nothing.
It's as simple as that.
We'll be back.

Richard Nixon took on the media and had his vice president say a bunch of nasty things about the media.
And the media disliked Richard Nixon intensely.
But Richard Nixon was not able to convince large portions of the country of the fact, of the truth.
And that is, much of the media is relentlessly, intensely biased.
By, what was it, 5 to 1, 4 to 1 margin?
Reporters, Refer to themselves as Democrats or left-wing, self-admitted.
Former chair of the RNC? Former envoy to China?
Former congressman from Texas?
Former vice president for eight years?
Second youngest naval aviator pilot in World War II? Former Ambassador to the United Nations?
And you couldn't support him over Michael Dukakis?
Couldn't support him over Bill Clinton?
This is what we're up against.
This is what we're up against.
The Democrats are trying to erase history.
The Democrat Party is...
History is littered with leaders.
So, I know we talked about this last time.
The four speakers whose portraits that Nancy Pelosi was taking down, they were all Democrats.
All those Confederates.
All four speakers were Democrats.
The Democrat Party has a history of racism, of bigotry, of, again, creating the Ku Klux Klan.
It was created by Democrats, of pushing to try to keep in place Jim Crow.
And fighting the Civil Rights Act!
Fighting it!
Right, the Democrat Party...
The reason that people are flirting with communism in this country is because they don't know the record of communism.
If people knew what Mao did in the Cultural Revolution, they couldn't have all these re-education things as they are now doing in Seattle.
And I read in hour one, truly one of the scariest things I have ever read to you about the United States.
That's why you should have Prager Topia so you can keep these hours and listen to them without commercials.
Yes, there's a moral obligation to study history.

Craig in Southfield, Michigan.
At what age did you realize the problem in the world is ideological?
Very early age, I realized that race doesn't matter.
There are only two races, said Viktor Frankl.
Decent and the indecent.
You can certainly see that.
It's not a black-white divide in the United States.
It's a left-right divide.
Daniel, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from Cuba originally.
What's going on in the U.S. is alarmingly close to what happened in Cuba.
Yes, it is.
That is correct.
We are not immune to becoming a communist country.
That is correct.
For 50 years, we have taught nothing about the importance of liberty.
Nothing.
With the death of religion, people have had nothing to believe in.
So now they believe in leftism, the latest incarnation, anti-racism.
It's their religion.
And it's, as I saw in hour one, a cult.
