Dennis Prager Show - Independence Day: They're Destroying the American Identity Aired: 2020-07-03 Duration: 04:16 === Embracing American Identity (04:14) === [00:00:01] If Americans don't embrace some basic moral principles as their culture, the country is over because this country is not homogeneous like Denmark or Norway. [00:00:15] The country is heterogeneous ethnically and racially and in every other way the human condition comes. [00:00:23] So it is the only way America can survive is if everybody assumes a strong American identity. [00:00:31] Which the left is destroying, needless to say. [00:00:36] And as a result, you don't have America anymore. [00:00:44] From many, we. [00:00:45] Isn't that amazing? [00:00:46] That was the name, I think, of his column. [00:00:49] Certainly, that was the topic of his column. [00:00:55] Wow. [00:00:57] I saw it early. [00:01:00] I want you to know it brings me zero satisfaction, so I'm not bragging to you. [00:01:06] I saw it early. [00:01:08] I'm only saying that I did see it early because I think clearly and I have a strong moral Geiger counter and whenever it comes near the left, it pulsates. [00:01:28] People want to say, look, you know, I don't like either extreme. [00:01:31] This is the lazy way of not confronting evil. [00:01:35] Well, it's on both sides. [00:01:38] Really. [00:01:41] When was the last violent demonstration on the right? [00:01:47] So then people talk about the Oklahoma City. [00:01:51] You have individuals who do evil with every single... [00:01:57] Doctrine on Earth. [00:01:59] But as a movement? [00:02:02] Tell me when the last right-wing conservative violent demonstration took place. [00:02:07] When the Tea Party demonstrated in large numbers against Barack Obama's policies. [00:02:13] It cleaned up after itself. [00:02:16] Remember that? [00:02:17] They left the grounds clean. [00:02:19] Did you see how these thugs who made Chaz, Buzz, Flues. [00:02:28] Did you see how they left it? [00:02:31] The garbage heap? [00:02:34] These are the scum of the earth. [00:02:36] And if you can't say that, it's because you're a coward. [00:02:40] People don't stare at evil. [00:02:41] It's another one of my biggest views about life. [00:02:46] Remember, I've always said, the evil is not dark. [00:02:50] Evil is so bright, people can't stare it in the face. [00:02:55] I wrote a column years ago, "The Left fights statues, the Right fights evil." On the left, there's greater hostility to George Washington than to the Iranian regime. [00:03:14] Does that give you an idea of how morally sick the left is? [00:03:20] I don't know what stops people from the realization. [00:03:23] I don't. [00:03:23] I really don't. [00:03:27] Well, I don't fully. [00:03:29] I do partially. [00:03:30] The intimidation of the left, the indoctrination is so acute that the fear, oh my god, I can't side with the right. [00:03:42] That's what it is about, let alone with Donald Trump. [00:03:48] Like I know, I have relatives who say that. [00:03:50] Good people, too. [00:03:54] I've told you a long time, you know, Minnesota nice. [00:03:57] Minnesota, the amount of sickness coming out of Minnesota is quite remarkable. [00:04:01] A lot of nice people in Minnesota. [00:04:04] Nice is nice, by the way. [00:04:07] Between nice and not nice, I prefer nice. [00:04:11] But nice and moral division have nothing to do with one another.
