Dennis Prager Show - The Lockdown Doing More Harm Than the Virus ⎜The Dennis Prager Radio Show Aired: 2020-05-23 Duration: 02:33 === Doctors And Fatal Viruses (02:33) === [00:00:00] I'll tell you what does disturb me is not people who differ with me on hydroxychloroquine. [00:00:06] It is people who differ with me on the lockdown. [00:00:11] It is so obvious that the harm being done to people and the world is so much greater than the coronavirus itself. [00:00:18] By now, there should be no question. [00:00:21] There is no moral, health, rational, economic reason. [00:00:28] To keep California, Pennsylvania, Michigan closed. [00:00:35] It's like we have a different perception of life if we differ on that. [00:00:48] The harm that is being done. [00:00:51] Do you remember the U.S. aircraft carrier, which had a lot of sailors aboard who had the coronavirus? [00:01:00] Here's the latest report, Wall Street Journal. [00:01:05] The medical team warned, this just came out, that there was a high probability that up to 1% of the roughly 4,800-member crew, that's 50 or more sailors, could die. [00:01:19] Are you with me, folks? [00:01:20] This is what the doctors, the doctors, did you hear that? [00:01:26] Physicians predicted 50 or more sailors will die on this ship. [00:01:32] We will not stand by while our fellow sailors continue to be exposed to this fatal virus. [00:01:38] Fatal virus. [00:01:39] Fatal means you will die from it. [00:01:42] The time has come for aggressive measures to be taken. [00:01:46] All right. [00:01:47] You know how many died on that ship? [00:01:52] One. [00:01:56] They were wrong by a factor of 50. There's a statement in the Talmud, the second holiest book of Judaism, the best doctors go to hell. [00:02:09] And the reason was not that doctors are bad people. [00:02:13] It's that no profession enables people to have such self-glory. [00:02:20] As being a doctor, because no other profession directly saved so many lives. [00:02:27] There are a lot of terrific doctors, and there are a lot of doctors who aren't terrific. [00:02:31] Not as doctors, as people.
